"I'm never going home, am I?" Beast Boy asked, defeated.
"I don't know," Priestess Raven replied quietly.
Sitting down next to him, she ignored the cold stone beneath her in favour of the redling. He looked to worn down, bruised and tired. It hadn't been fair, really. But then, what prophecy was?
"I'm sorry I don't know more about it," she continued.
"Ha! I don't think I'll ever get used to you apologising to me. It just isn't.. well... you," he chuckled darkly, shaking his head.
"You mean her. We're not the same people. We don't even really have the same powers."
"You can both heal."
Arching an eyebrow, the white cloaked Priestess shook her head. "No I can't."
"Sure you can! You've healed me plenty of times since I got here!" He smiled tiredly back at her.
"No. I haven't," turning to face him fully now, she stared at him concerned. "Are you feeling alright?"
"No. No I'm not alright. But you've healed my mind and emotions loads of times since I got here. You're doing it right now. And you might not be her, but you have enough of her to keep pushing me forward." Sighing loudly, the red teen took a deep breath before releasing it slowly. "And I need that. I need that push. So, thanks Raven."
Tilting her head to one side, she stared at him.
He would always be an enigma to her, and she wasn't really sure if she wanted to figure him out. His 'Rae' was a lucky woman.
