Episode 376: Team Galactic Ambition Part 2
Where we last left off, the evil organization, Team Galactic has stolen the Adamant Orb when it was on transit towards the Celestic Research Center. Having of learned of the theft and Cynthia being in Celestic Town, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon all went to the Research Center to meet with Cynthia at the research center. They also meet Cynthia's grandmother and a man named Cyrus who has been interested in myths regarding the beginning of time and the world. The evil Digimon, Etemon has also has learned of our heroes survival from Machinedramon's attack in the Digital World, so he sends three Bakemon to swipe the Lustrous Orb for him, while disguising themselves as police officers. Team Galactic has infiltrated the facility and launched their assault. Now, the safety of the Lustrous Orb hangs in the balance.
"To be totally honest, we really have no desire for excessive violence. Just give us the Lustrous Orb and we'll leave!" Saturn said. Cynthia took out another Pokéball.
"Not on your life! We know you got something up your sleeve!" Cynthia declared, throwing the Pokéball. "You're not getting any of Sinnoh's treasures! Gastrodon! Come forth from the seas!" Her Pokéball had unleashed a West Sea Gastrodon. Her Gastrodon came on out to battle. Sora took out a Pokéball as well.
"Don't count me out! Spiritomb! Go!" Sora called out, letting out Spiritomb. Kairi took out two of her Pokéballs and threw them.
"You too, Wormadam!" Kairi called out, letting the Plant Cloak and Trash Cloak Wormadam.
"Gastrodon! Use Stone Edge!"Cynthia ordered.
"Spiritomb! Shadow Ball!" Sora ordered.
"Wormadam! Both of you use Psybeam!" Kairi ordered.
The Pokémon all launched their attacks and struck the Golbat flying around.
"That was pathetic of you, Team Galactic. Get out of the way or we will move you out!" Carolina demanded.
"I really don't like showing off, but I guess I've no choice. The burden of grrat power," Saturn said. Mars took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Purugly! Come out and use Shadow Ball!" Mars ordered. Her Purugly came out and unleashed Shadow Ball.
"Toxicroak! Dark Pulse!" Saturn ordered.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt! Spiritomb! Hyper Beam!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Swift! Plant Cloak! Razor Leaf! Trash Cloak! Use Flash Cannon!" Kairi ordered.
"Eevee! Use Shadow Ball!" Riku ordered.
Sora, Kairi, and Riku's Pokémon laucnhed their attacks at their opponents. Spiritomb's Hyper Beam blocks Hyper Beam as Eevee's Shadow Ball blocked Purugly's Shadow Ball. The Plant Cloak Wormadam fires Razor Leaf as the Trash Cloak fires Flash Cannon. Pikachu's Thunderbolt shocked some of the Golbat. Meowth jumped up at the Golbat.
"Here, ya rats with wings! Here's a Fury Swipes!" Meowth said slashing across the Golbat across the face.
"Garchomp, Dragon Claw! Gastrodon! Muddy Water!" Cynthia ordered. Garchomp and Gastrodon unleashed their moves to block and to attack at the same time. The standing Digimon launched their attacks at the Golbat as well.
"Pikachu! Volt Tackle!" Sora ordered. Pikachu charged at Toxicroak with Volt Tackle. Saturn turned to Toxicroak.
"Stop it now," Saturn ordered. Toxicroak sends Poison Jab at Pikachu. Angel, seeing Pikachu in danger, rushes over to her beloved and saves him and takes the hit.
"Angel!" Kairi gasped. Pikachu was horrified by what Toxicroak just did,
"Angel!" - Pikachu subtitle.
Taking advantage of the sitiuation, the disguised Bakemon took the Lustrous Orb and started to sneak out, but they didn't escape Officer Jenny's notice.
"Where do you three think you're going?" Officer Jenny asked. The three disguised Digimon stopped in their tracks.
"Looks like the jig's up," the third disguised Bakemon said, surprising everyone.
"Did I just hear that Growlithe talk? Carolina asked.
"There's no way, unless, that's a Digimon, disguised as a Growlithe!" Terra said. The Bakemon reveal their true seolves to the group as they laughed.
"Bakemon!" Sora exclaimed.
"They were Digimon in disguise!" Meowth said.
"Bakemon?" Carolina asked. Ventus took out his Digidex to analyze them.
"Like Sora said, Bakemon. They're ghost-like DIgimon covered in a cloth. They have the ability to disguise themselves into any living creature like they just did. And they're Champion level Digimon. They punch their enemies with a move called Dark Claw," Ventus said.
"What do you wastes of sheets want witht he Lustrous Orb?" Agumon asked.
"Just taking it to Etemon, who likes shiny stuff! And this thing is shiny. Also, he knew this was important that you would protect it after the Adamant Orb was swiped by those guys," the first Bakemon said.
"You're not getting away!" Guilmon said. "Pyro-"
"Guilmon, no! You might destroy the orb!" Gaomon said.
"That's right, lizard boy. You touch us, ya smash the orb!" the third Bakemon said.
"Now, if you excuse us, we have a boss to tend to," the second Bakemon said. Cyrus nodded to Saturn to let them go. Saturn understood and stepped aside.
"Very well, you three are free to go. We have no quarrel with you," Saturn said.
"Now, here's someone with some brains," the first Bakemon said. Saturn snapped his fingers and the Golbat all fly out the windows, shattering them. They escaped along with them
"Where's Team Galactic?" Officer Jenny asked.
"Probably going after the Lustrous Orb," Cyrus said.
"We should go after them too!" Sora said.
"We should tend to Angel and the Digimon first. That fight with Toxicroak did a number on them," Riku said. "
"He's right, Sora. They need to be treated for their injuries," Cynthia said.
"What would Etemon want with the Lustrous Orb?" Ventus asked.
"Well, they mentioned that Etemon would be after it because he knew we would try to protect it," Gabumon said.
"That and he likes shiny things," Veemon said.
"As any monkey would," Patamon said.
"You can leave getting the Lustrous Orb back to us," Officer Jenny said. "Your friends needs you now."
"You should head for a Pokémon Center. Cynthia, you should go with them," Carolina suggested.
"I will," Cynthia said. She turned to her ace Pokémon. "Garchomp, I need you to and try to find the Lustrous Orb. Garchomp nodded and flew to find it. Riku took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Staravia, go!" Riku called out. Staravia came on out. "Staravia, I want you to go with Garchomp and find the orb." Cynthia walked up to Cyrus.
"You know, Cyrus, I'm so sorry that your visit had to turn out like this," Cynthia apologized.
"Don't be. It's all my fault for asking to see the orb. Forgive me," Cyrus said. Carolina walked up to the two of them.
"You're both wrong. The fault is mine. Don't forget, I'm the one who took the orb out and put it in harm's way," Carolina said.
Over to Etemon's trailer, the Bakemon arrived with the orb.
"What took you floating bedsheets so long?" Etemon asked.
"Sorry, boss, we had a snag. Those humans and the Digimon in Leomon's Resistance were there, so we had to keep from blowing our cover," the first Bakemon said.
"Those Team Galactic jokers were there too!" The second Bakemon said.
"So, we got the Lustrous Orb, like you wanted, Etemon," the third Bakemon said.
"You three did something right, unlike these worthless furballs," Etemon said.
"Thanks!" The three Bakemon said.
Over to Jupiter, she and some of her Team Galactic squad have been informed that the Bakemon had taken off with the Lustrous Orb.
"G 3 is in. Roger that," Jupiter confirmed. "Commening backup plan. Now that they foolishly let those Digimon get away with the orb, it's our turn to take care of things." She turned to the male grunt.
"Yes, ma'am. We'll use the Spear Key to track their moves," the male grunt said. The grunt opens the briefcase and the key levitates to track the orb's whereabouts. It poitnts right in the town.
"Excellent, it already begun to work!" Jupiter said. She and her squad entered the helicopter and flew in the direction the Spear Key was pointing at.
Over to the Pokémon Center, Nure Joy hands a bag over to Kairi to help out Angel. The injured Digimon were laying down, recovering from their injuries.
"Okay, Kairi, have your Eevee thatke these after every meal," Nurse Joy said.
"Of course," Kairi said, taking the medicine. "And thank you."
"You are welcome. If you need me, just call," Nurse Joy said, taking her leave.
"Chansey," Chansey added.
Pikachu tends to Angel, hoping for to heal up. She nuzzles him affectionately, so he nuzzles her back. Sora felt bad for what happened.
"Kairi, I'm so sorry. It's my fault that Angel got hurt by Toxicroak like that," Sora said.
"It's okay, Sora," Kairi said.
"No, it's not okay. I was too focused on getting the orb back, nothing else mattered. I'm feeling guilty about it because Angel is your Pokémon and she got hurt hurt, helping Pikachu," Sora said.
"Sora, you can't expect the best out of everything. Angel did what she had to She wanted to keep Pikachu safe. It's the same for Kairi doing that for you," Riku said.
"Riku's right, Sora. You know Pikachu would do the same or Angel," Agumon said. "Also, Gatomon and the others did their best too."
"I see that Angel is much like you, Kairi?" Cynthia asked.
"Yes she is. Angel and Pikachu had been through so much together since I caught her in Hoenn shortly after I won my third Ribbon in Fallarbor Town," Kairi said.
"I see," Cynthia said. She gently petted Angel on the head. "Protecting Pikachu was a noble act, little sweetheart."
"Vee," Angel said.
"You emember when I said every life meets another life, don't you?" Cynthia asked.
"Yes," Sora said.
"Soething will be born," Kairi siad.
"Yes. You two are an example of what I mean. You two have realized that fact before anyone else has," Cynthia said.
Over to Etemon, he placed the Lustrous Orb around his neck and started to wear it like a necklace. A Golbat flew and spotted Etemon and flew back to to make the report. Staravia sees the Golbat leave and spots Etemon and flies back to Riku.
Back to the Pokémon Center, they all sit around.
"Something doesn't sit right with me," Kairi said. Everyone all looked at her.
"What?" Terra asked.
"Team Galactic said something about a new world," Kairi said.
"Team Galactic did mention that before when you think about it," Aqua said. Sora wondered if what he saw before be what Team Galactic was going for.
"I'll say this: whatever it is, I'm fairly certain it will mean nothing but disaster for us all," Cynthia said.
"Of course it does. Team Magma and Team Aqua would have destroyed the world if Rayquaze hadn't come along and stopped them," Meowth said.
"And someone else wold have used the Red and Blue Orbs if we haven't destroyed them," Sora said.
"Although we don't know what their new world is, it's obvious they don't like thi one. Of course, they're not the kind of criminals who are ever going to give up without a fight," Cynthia said. "We saw now that Team Galactic's managed to steal the Admant Orb, they're going ater the Lutrous Orb with a vengeance."
"If Team Magma and Team Aqua went after Groudon and Kyogre in Hoenn, then Team Galactic must be going after Dialga and Palkia through the orbs," Naminé said. A collection of fear came onto their faces when Naminé stated that.
"That's just what I think as well. Team Galactic has big plans for those two orbs. Something that will affect the world of people and Pokémon," Cynthia said. "A challenge like none before."
Over to the ruins, Carolina and Cyrus went to the damage that Team Galactic had done.
"Just look! How could they have done this?" Carolina asked in disbelief. Cyrus looked up and saw one of the Golbat, flying by. He knew it was a sign.
Back to the Pokémon Center, the group were getting worked up by what Team Galactic is planning to do, whatever it is.
"We can't just st here and let those guys do what they want!" Sora siad.
"Now, Sora, calm down," Cynthia said. Ventus spotted something out the wondow.
"Guys! Out the window!" Ventus said, pointing to the window. They all turned to see Staravia coming back. They all rushed outside to see the starling Pokémon in front of the Pokémon Center.
"You find them?" Riku asked. Staravia asked. "Good! Lead the way!" Sora, Kairi, RIku, and Cynthia followed Staravia to where Etemon's trailer is. Sora and Kairi exchanged their Pokémon. Knowing Angel is in no shape to fight, she sends over her Pokéball ain exchange for Flareon as Sora exchanged Spiritomb and Pikachu's Pokéball for Croagunk and Lucario. Pikachu, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Naminé, Meowth, Azurill, and the rest of the injured Digimon stayed behind while they were healing.
Over to the ruins, Etemon thought there could be other treasures in there. He snuck right in to see. Carolina and Cyrus wen to the altar to see the fresco of Palkia and Dialga.
"I guess we should be grateful that the fresco's still here," Carolina said. They heard something behind them. "Who's there?""
"Come out! Or I'll be forced to come over there and bring you out!" Cyrus said.
"So much for my little treasure hunt. Everybody wants a piece of that action," Etemon said.
"You're another one of those Digimon, aren't you?" Carolina asked.
"That'll be me, grandma! The name's Etemon, the king of these parts! And this is the sparkly that you want, so I want it and I got it!" Etemon said.
Outside, Bronzor had put all the police to sleep with Hypnosis. Mars approaches with a handful of her grunts.
"G 2 is here. We're moving now," Mars stated.
Cynthia drives in her jeep as Greymon, Garurumon, Birdramon, Togemon, Ikkakumon, Angemon, Veeramon, Growlmon, Gaogamon, Sunflowmon, Aquilamon, and Ankylomon followed.
"It can't be! We're heading to the research center?" Kairi asked.
"Maybe. Either that or to the ruins. Garchomp!" Cynthia called out. Garchomp looked at her trainer. "Fly ahead and ake sure those Digimon stay put!" garchomp nodded. Sora had let out Monferno, Gible, Croagunk, Urshifu, Raboot, and Lucario as Kairi had let out Flareon, Buneary, Bibarel, the Wormadam, and Glaceon.
"Guys, you go with Garchomp!" Sora said.
"You too, Eevee!" Riku said. Eevee got on Staravia's back and flew right towards them.
"Angemon, Aquilamon, Sunflowmon, and I will join right in!" Birdramon said.
"We'll meet you there!" Sora said.
Over to the altar, Mars and her Team Galactic squad shows up. They see orb in the monkey Digimon's possession.
"Hey, I don't remember you inviting you to this party!" Etemon stated.
"We decided to crash this little party of yours, monkey. You have what we want, and we don't stop until we get we get what we want," Mars said. Etemon growled. "We known exactly where the Lustrous Orb was the whole time and to be totally honest, your efforts ended up saving us a lot of trouble by bringing it here in the first place," Mars said. Etemon grolwed when he realized he had been duped.
"Nobody makes a monkey out of me and gets away with it!" Etemon said.
"Purugly! Use Body SLam! Bronzor! Use Hypnosis!" Mars ordered. Purugly and Bronozr were taken down by Garchomp and the other Pokémon. The flying DIgimon all show up before them.
"Surprise!" The Digimon all said.
"What?!" Mars growled.
"Garchomp!" Carolina said.
"Thanks to the Champion!" Cyrus said.
"You can't do that to my Pokémon!" Mars stated.
"We just did, red!" Aquailamon said.
"Etemon and Team Galactic in the same place, not a good combo," Sunflowmon said.
"You again?! You are just like a boomerang! No matter how far I throw you, you just come right back! You're really starting to get under my skin!" Etemon said.
Just then, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Cynthia, and the rest of the Digimon all show up to see the scene.
"Team Galactic!" Sora said.
"Carolina and Cyrus, too!" Kairi said.
"I would say you showed up not a moment too soon!" Carolina said. The Bakemon show up and they have a plan of their own. They grabbed the orb from Etemon's neck.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?! This isn't in the script!" Etemon exclaimed.
"One worng move and this little orb is shattered in a million pieces!" The first Bakemon threatened.
"No, you idiots! That orb ain't worth peanuts if it gets one scratch on it!" Etemon cried. The Bakemon shows him how serious theyre being.
"They're so desperate, they just might go through with this!" Carolina exclaimed. Cyrus grolwed in anger.
"Don't you realize how important the Lustrous Orb is?! You idiots!" Cyrus exclaimed. The Bakemon didn't say anything. Riku and Cynthia caught wind of Cyrus's anger. Everyone were surprised by Cyrus's outburst. "You! Look behind you!" The Bakemon turned to see the fresco behind them. "I trust you fools know that the Admant and Lustrous Orbs bring great power to Dialga and Palkia! But when it is when the orbss are combined together witht he Lake Guardians that their full power emerges! To put in simple terms even you creatures will understand..." Cyrus paused before he continued. "The three guardians, plus the two orbs, will gloriously bring forth nothing less than legends!"
"Bring forth legends?" Sora asked.
Riku and Cynthia were suspicious of the choice of words Cyrus had put into his sentences.
"Cyrus, calm down!" Carolina said.
"Don't you see? If we don't make them understand what's happening, they'll foolishly shatter the orb I refuse to let that happen at all costs!" Cyrus said. He glared at the Bakemon, shivering. "I'm sorry if I seem so upset, but when the stakes are high, our strongest weapon is the truth! Now listen well! The Adamant Orb is, in fact, Dialga, and the Lustrous Orb is Palkia!The orbs will bring them to this world!" A swarm of Golbat fly all over the ruins.
"Greymon, do something!" Veedramon said.
"They're everywhere!" Greymon said.
"Like mosquitos, but with teeth!" Growlmon said.
"Buneary! Glaceon! Ice Beam! Flareon! Flaemthrower! Wormadam! Psybeam!" Kairi ordered.
"Raboot! Blaze Kick!" Sora ordered. Raboot gave them a Blaze Kick and went to Buneary's side and they. Skuntank jumped and landed on the Bakemon, making them let go of the orb.
"My orb!" Etemon cried. Skuntank fires Flamethrower at full power and destroys the Bakemon completely. "Serve tose little turncoats right! Now, I got to deal with you!" Etemon was about to attack when Garurumon stepped in. Garurumon started to Digivolve.
"Garurumon Digivolve to... WereGarurumon!" WereGarurumon gave Etemon a punch and sends him up in the air.
"You're a real bad doggy! And bad dogs need to be put to sleep!" Etemon said. He came at WereGarurumon, but he gave him a kick.
"I an take you on, Etemon!" WereGarurumon said. "Wolf Claw!" he slashes and sends his slash attack at his opponent. Etemon forms a green and black orb.
"Dark Network!" Etemon shouted as he throws it. The attacks collides with each other. Etemon was going to give WereGarurumon a deserved punch, but WereGarurumon came at him again.
"Garuru Kick!" WereGarurumon shouted, sending a blade of energy at him. He gets struck hard.
"Is that all you got?" Etemon asked.
"I putting an end to your monkey business, Etemon!" WereGarurumon said. Etemon was about to attack when a mirror, matching Mercurymon's shield pulls Etemon down.
"No, not yet!" Etemon yelped, being pulled down.
Over to Skuntank, it carries the Lustrous Orb to Jupiter and she smiled.
"Well done, my darling Skuntank," Jupiter said. "G 3! Back up plan a success!"
Back in the ruins, everyone was at a loss to the orb's theft.
"Oh no! If we don't get the orb back..." Cynthia pasued.
"Let's get cracking!" Riku said.
The group went off to chase Team Galactic and get the Lustrous Orb back from their hands. Cynthia and her grandmother turned to Cyrus.
"Cyrus?" Cynthia asked. Cyrus didn't reply. They went after Team Galactic. Cyrus grinned evilly.
"The Adamant and Lustrous Orbs has at last been acquired. Only three pieces of the puzzle remains. The new world is closer than ever before. The world without spirit," Cyrus said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Cynthia, the Pokémon, and the Digimon has lost Team Galactic and they disappointed that they were one step ahead of them and has been since day 1. They returned to the Pokémon Center to deliever the bad news to their friends. Cyrus joins in with the group. Sora sends Lucario back to Professor Oak and Kairi sends the Plant Claok Wormadam back as well to get Angel's Pokéball.
"You lost them?!" Meowth asked.
"Yeah. And not only that, but Etemon got away too," Sora said.
"It's painfully obvious that Team Galactic knows a lot about Palkia and Dialga more tha we do," Carolina stated. "What could they be after, knowing they stole the Veilstone Mteorite as well?"
"I wish I had been more help to you all," Cyrus said.
"No," Cynthia replied.
"Man, we could have gotten them it weren't for Etemon!" Sora said.
"No, Sora. All of you were absolutely great. You've got to remember that. Excuse me," Cyrus said. He took his leavve. Riku, Cynthia, and Carolina were suspicious of Cyrus when he took his leave.Riku had been suspicious of him since meeting him. Riku noticed how calm he was when Team Galactic attacked and how he was quick to react when it came to the orbs. Naminé looked at her boyfriend.
"Riku? Is something wrong?" Naminé asked.
"Yes and no. You noticed his attitude changin about the orbs?" Riku asked.
"I have," Cynthia said.
"Come to think of it, I saw you giving him a funny look. What's up?" Sora asked.
"I don't trust him," Riku admitted.
"How could you say that about Cyrus?" Carolina asked.
"Easy. Something is up with him. When I look at him, he's giving off vibes I didn't like. I notice3d how he was being so calm when Team Galactic attacked," Riku said.
"Yeah so?" Meowth asked.
"And I also noticed how touchy he got when those Bakemon were planning to smash the orb. And how he knew so much about Dialga and Palkia. Like I said, something's up," Riku said.
"Vee," Eevee said.
"You don't think Cyrus has something to do with all this?" Aqua asked.
"I don't know. But I do know he might know about Team Galactic than any of us," Riku said. "I just don't know how to prove it."
Over to Etemon, he had come in through a mirror portal with Mercurymon standing before him.
"What's the idea bringing me back here?! I was going to finish them off!" Etemon exclaimed.
"Thou were about to lose. I had made repeated attempts to contact you, so I had to resort to a more drastic measure," Mercurymon said.
"What do you want?" Etemon asked.
"Lord Myotismon wants thy report and he does not like to be kept waiting," Mercurymon stated. Etemon knew he would be facing Myotismon.
Over to the Pokémon Center, Sora, Kairi, and Riku were sleeping soundly as two Pokémon appear to the three of them in their dreams.
One of them is clearly female. She has a series of horns near her head that resemble crescent moons. She has a yellow stripe that stretches from her face to the tail. The rest of her body is periwinkle. It has three pink "wings", two on the side of her body and one above it that is lighter in color. They connect to two paw-like protrusions on her chest. This Pokémon is known as Cresselia.
Another resembles a ghost or a haunted spirit. The top of its body is connected to the lower half by a tiny waist, giving it an hourglass shaped figure. It has a red spiky growth around its neck and a long white mane flows from its head, obscuring one of its blue eyes. Its thin arms have three claws each, with three spiky protrusions above each elbow. Its shoulders also have long tatters and it appears to be wearing an old ripped cloak or dress. It is able to extend stilt-like extensions to use as legs. This Pokémon is Darkrai.
"Sora, Kairi, Riku," a feminine voice spoke. The three of them saw the two Pokémon in front of them.
"Cresselia and Darkrai," Riku said.
"What are you doing in my dream?" Sora asked. Kairi looked at her boyfriend.
"Your dream? This is my dream!" Kairi said.
"You mean, it's not my dream?" Riku asked.
"It's all of yours," Darkrai said. "Cresselia and I have combined your dreams into one. Because were contacted by the Lake Guardians."
"The Lake Guardians?" Sora asked.
"Yes," a new feminine voice spoke. Mesprit appears first, Azelf appeared after, and Uxie had appeared last.
"Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie. I don't believe it!" Sora said.
"I know I'm really dreaming because that's all three of you here," Riku said.
"Yes. We are able to contact you over the dream world because Darkrai and Cresselia has permitted us to do so. We have sensed a disturbance in the cosmos," Uxie said.
"You mean, you're sharing the same dream as us?" Riku asked.
"And what kind of disturbance?" Sora asked.
"The disturbance we felt has a lot to do with the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs," Azelf said.
"Your connections with Pokémon is why we are contacting you now," Mesprit said.
"To warn you of the danger that is to come," Uxie said.
"You mean just us?" Kairi asked.
"Yes," Uxie said.
"The ones known as Galactic are planning to use the power of Dialga and Palkia to destroy the world. And then remake it into one they see fit. Ultimately devastating the balance in the universe," Azelf said.
"No!" Sora said.
"We got to find a way to put a stop to them," Kairi said
"How?" Riku asked.
"Giratina shall have the ability to interfere with the destruction of the world, because it knows of the disasters that will come," Mesprit said.
"But you three are the ones who shall make it possible for Team Galactic's downfall," Azelf said.
"How?" Sora asked.
"That is all we can say," the Lake Guardians said. Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie all vanished as Darkrai and Cresselia had vanished as well. Sora, Kairi, and Riku all woke up and looked around. Sora and Kairi looked at each other and knew they weren't seeing things. It wasn't the first time something like this happened. Sora had made contact with Raikou, Entei, and Suicune through a dream.
"You had the same dream as me, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"I was going to ask you the same question, Sora," Kairi said. Riku didn't know how to make of what had happened, but he knew it might have something to do with Team Galactic.
On the next morning, Angel, Biyomon, Tentomon, Gatomon, Wormmon, Renamon, Terriermon, and Lopmon had fully recovered from their injuries from Toxicroak. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon were preparing to leave and say their goodbyes to Cynthia
".So, Sora, where are you all heading next?" Cynthia asked.
"Canalave City. There, I'll be facing Byron," Sora said.
"Good luck, and remember I'm rooting for you," Cynthia said.
"I'm glad I have your support, Cynthia," Sora said.
"Of course," Cynthia said. She turned to Kairi. "You be sure to do the same for Sora. And take good care of Angel."
"I will," Kairi said.
Nurse Joy stepped out with an announcment for Cynthia.
"Cynthia?" Nurse Joy asked. She turned to the nurse. "We've just received confirmation from the office concerning related scheduling for all upcoming title battles."
"So the next challenger has been decided," Cynthia said.
"Right," Nurse Joy answered.
"Next challenger?" Ventus asked.
"The next challenger for the title of Champion. Could be tricky getting back to regular living after all this," Cynthia said.
"I know the feeling," Sora said.
"Team Galactic is still out there," Riku said.
"Yes. And they must be dealt with, but it's important for you to live full lives and keep working to realize your hopes and dreams," Cynthia said. "I thank you very much. So, till we meet again."
"Same here, Cynthia," Sora said, both shaking hands.
With their evil plans to steal both orbs a success, Team Galactic's quest is underway. And the difficult-to-comprehend appearence of two legends of the Sinnoh regionappear to be slowly, but surely, becoming a reality.
Over to Team Galactic's base, Mars and Jupiter palced the orbs in place of the Team Galactic lab. Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter are proud that they had succeeded in where they had failed.
A door, opens and a man walked right in. It is revelaed to be Cyrus. He wore a Team Galactic uniform. The uniform he wears bears a Team Galactic logo pinned to his vest on his left upper breast. The uniform itself consists of a long sleeve black shirt with a gray vest over it, long black pants designed in a similar fashion to the shirt sleeves, and gray shoes.
"Greetings, Master Cyrus. Although we did get the Lustrous Orb, I realize there's no excuse for everything that went wrong," Saturn said.
"Not a good reflection on you," Cyrus said. Mars chuckled a bit. "As for the Lake Guardians, it appears there have been more recent sightings of both Azelf and Mesprit. Preparations have been made to bring forth all three.And as for capturing them, you're in charge, Jupiter."
"Sir! I will call forth any available Pokémon Hunter at once," Jupiter said. Cyrus nods.
"Master Cyrus, the ironworks now confirms the experiments with the Veilstoe Metoerite were successful," Mars reported. "They are commening with the initial phase of Project Red Chain."
"The birth of a pure, new world is soon to be upon us all. Dialga! Palkia! Bring forth your awesome power!" Cyrus proclaimed.
