Episode 382: Stealing the Conversation!
After earning her fifth Contest Ribbon, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon are heading out for Snowpoint City."Congrats again for winning your fifth Ribbon, Kairi," Meowth said.
"Thank you again, everyone. It's thanks to all of you that I can enter the Grand Festival," Kairi said.
"That's right. Now that Kairi has gained all that she needs, then we can focus more on Sora's Gym battles," Agumon said.
"Don't be so sure. For all we know, there could be another evil Digimon coming out to jump us," Ventus said.
"I think Ven's right. THere's no telling when or how they're going to do that," Aqua said.
And with that said, they were greeted by a new Digimon. It is a bipedal, muscular gorilla-like Digimon with white fur and blue eyes. It has black skin on its face, chest, hand, right arm, and feet, and it wears several belts on its left thigh. Its right arm is mechanized, connected to its flesh with cables.
"A Gorillamon!" Biyomon said. Terra took out his DIgidex and analyzed it.
"Gorillamon. A beast Digimon and a Champion level Digimon wth an arm cannon. Gorillamon has both the arm and leg strength to crush anything. He blasts his opponents with Energy Cannon," Terra said. Gorillamon roars and comes at the group.
"Watch out!" Veemon shouted. "Vee Headbutt!" He dashed at the ape-like Digimon and landed a headbutt in his stomach. Gorillamon gets up and pounded his chest in anger and he aims his arm cannon at Veemon.
"Energy Cannon!" Gorillamon shouted, firing his attack. Agumon started to Digivolve.
"Agumon Digivolve to... Greymon!" Greymon prepares to fire. "Nova Blast!" Greymon fires his attack and it cuts right through his attack. It struck the gorilla-like Digimon. Gorillamon charges at Greymon.
"Power Lifting!" Gorillamon shouted as he came at Greymon. The ape-like Digimon wreslted with Greymon. It was like the scene of King Kong when he was wrestling with a t. rex. Greymon bit Gorillamon on the left arm, but Gorillamon bats him off. Gorillamon lifted his foot to stomp on Greymon, but he lifted him up and he lands on his back.
"Come and get me, monkey!" Greymon taunted.
"Don't call me monkey!" Gorillamon roared.
"Come on, Greymon! Take that monkey on his shiny red ass!" Meowth said.
"Meowth, you're probably thinking of a baboon," Hawkmon said. Gorillamon pounds his chest as he gave off a loud roar. Gorillamon charges at Greymon, but he grabs Gorillamon and tosses him. Gorillamon prepares to fire, but Gabumon steps in.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shouted, firing his attack into Gorillamon's cannon, before he could fire. Gorillamon dissolves into bits of data. Greymon reverts back to Agumon. Just then, Officer Jenny rode in the scene with a Chatot perched on her shoulder.
"Looks like we missed the show, again," Officer Jenny said.
"Missed again, missed again," Chatot repeated. Officer Jenny turned to Sora and the group.
"You're Sora Ketchum from Pallet Town, aren't you?" Officer Jenny asked.
"Yeah, that'll be me," Sora said.
"Good. You're under arrest," Officer Jenny said. Sora winced when she told him that he's under arrest.
"Under Arrest! No jest!" Chatot.
"What did I do?!" Sora excaimed.
"Officer, I think you made a mistake! Sora would never do anything to break the law!" Kairi defended her boyfriend.
"Tell me that it's a Digimon turing itself into me," Sora aid.
"Sorry, I misspoke. I meant that I'll be needing your assistance, so I'll be having you in custody. And FYI, I'm not a normal Officer Jenny. I'm a wild Officer Jenny," Officer Jenny said.
"Yes, she's a mild Jenny," Chatot spoke.
"Not mild, wild!" Officer Jenny said.
"Those two should be having their own comedy routines," Meowth said.
"I don't think you would have room to talk, Meowth," Ventus whispred.
"So, why do you need Sora in custody?" Terra asked.
"I was transferred here from Kanto. There hasn't been much action there since Team Rocket has been put out of commission. I heard that Sora Ketchum was traveling in the Sinnoh region after rumors of inter dimensional travels. And there are been sightings of strange creatures known as Digimon going around. I even heard rumors that Sora Ketchum has also been connnected to an Ultra Beast phenomenon that has taken place in the Johto region. And I figured maybe you would have on insight about the Digimon making their appearence in the Sinnoh region," Officer Jenny said.
"Well, you would be right. We have been running into those Digimon, just like that Gorillamon that just attacked us from out of nowhere," Sora said. "The thing is, there's an evil Digimon named Myotismon planning on takig over both this world and the Digital World. These twelve here are here to keep that from happening."
"They don't look so tough to me," Officer Jenny scoffed.
"Tough to me, tough to me," Chatot repeated.
"Sometimes, big surprises comes in small packages," Patamon said.
"So what is it that you need us to do?" Sora asked.
"I need you to stand in the park to draw them out," Officer Jenny said.
A few minutes later, the group were standing in the park for a Digimon to come to attack. Unknown to them, a skeletal Digimon was just a distance away from them. It was a Digimon that looked like a dinosaur skeleton with an orange organic missle on its back.
"So, now what do we do?" Aqua asked.
"Maybe just stand here like idiots and wait for a random Digimon to show up and attack us," Agumon said. His nostrils flare up. "And not a moment too soon!" The skeletal Digimon emerges and comes towards them. Officer Jenny grinned.
"Gotha! Chatot! Feather Dance!" Officer Jenny ordered. Chatot flew at the Digimon and attempted to soothe it, but it did nothing.
"Watch out!" Veemon shouted. Veemon started to Digivolve. "Veemon Warp Digivolve to... AeroVeedramon!" He flew right at the Digimon and knocked it down.
"Chatot's Feather Dance didn't do a thing to it!" Officer Jenny exclaimed.
"AeroVeedramon will take care of that thing!" Ventus said.
"What is that thing anyway?" Officer Jenny asked.
"What is that thing, what is that thing?" Chatot repeated. Sora took out his Digidex and analyzed the skeletal Digimon.
"Okay, we got here is SkullGreymon. He's an undead Digimon. Ultimate level. Uh-oh. It says that SkullGreymon is a mindless monster that has a mind that's completly blank, so the only thing on his mind is to attack anything he sees. He obliterates anyhting with a Dark Shot attack," Sora said.
"Well, we have to take him down before he does," Agumon said. SkullGreymon pushes AeroVeedramon off of him and started to pound him senseless. SkullGreymon prepares to fire his missle, but Agumon steps in and he starts to Digivolve.
"Agumon Warp Digivolve to... MetalGreymon!" He jumps in the air and aims at the missle when SkullGreymon fires it. "Not on my watch!" His metal compartment opens up and he fires. "Giga Storm!" He fires his attack at the missle and explodes before it started to come on down. "AeroVeedramon, throw him in the air!"
"You got it!" AeroVeedramon grabs SkullGreymon by the tail and he goes up in the air.
MetalGreymon, "Giga Blaster!" MetalGreymon fires his missles right at SkullGreymon and blows him up. One of his arms detaches as SkullGreymon dissolves into bits of data. The arm dissolves as well. MetalGreymon and AeroVeedramon revert back to their Rookie forms.
"I don't think he was going to tell us anything," Agumon said.
"Even if we were, I doubt it'll be out of his free will," Veemon said.
Ogremon was wtaching the scene along with the Goblimon and the BlackAgumon.
"Looks like SkullGreymon blew it," one of the Goblimon said.
"It was a mistake to include that bonehead," Ogremon said.
"Maybe we could use another approach," a BlackAgumon said.
"There is. We can have SkullMeramon lure them to us. I have a trick to put them down once and for all," Ogremon said, laughing.
Back to the park, two police officers had arrived to the scene. One of them is a high-ranking police officer.
"Excuse me. Sora Ketchum, I presume?" The high-ranking police officer asked.
"Yes. Who are you?" Sora asked.
"Well, son, I'm the chief of police. We just saw something in the sky just now and we followed it here," the chief said. Officer Jenny knew she was going to get in trouble with the chief of police, so she went up to Sora and shook his hand.
"Sora Ketchum, right? Officer Jenny. Nice to meet you," Officer Jenny said, shaking his hand. She whispered into his ear. "Play along," she whispered. She grinned sheepishly.
"Jenny, you're not using people as decoys again, are you?" the chief asked.
"What ever do you mean, sir?" Officer asked, pretending not to know.
"Well for one thing, there has been rumors about Digimon coming all over the Sinnoh region and they're causing trouble, like the one that looked like an ape with a cannon," the chief stated.
"Sir, I resent that remark. My only concern is the complete safety of all our citizens; just like these kids," Officer Jenny said.
"Like these girls and boys, they're decoys!" Chatot said. The policewoman quickly covers its beak, to keep from revealing more.
"WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED?! IT'S BAD ENOUGH WE HAVE STRANGE CREATURES ATTACKING OUT OF NOWHERE, BUT NOW WE GOT YOU USING CIVILIANS AS DECOYS AGAIN!" The police chief exclaimed.
"Now, now, chief, it's not good for your blood pressure to get all worked up. All your adorable little assistants are waiting for you to come back to the station," Officer Jenny said.
"ADORABLE, NOTHING! AND DON'T YOU THINK YOU CAN BUTTER ME UP! IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK ON ME! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE WILD OR MILD! I DON'T EVEN CARE IF YOU CAME FROM A SMALL TOWN OR A FARM! ALL I KNOW IS EVER SINCE YOU TRANSFERRED TO SINNOH, IT'S NOTHING BUT BAD NEWS! IF I HEAR THAT YOU SCREWED UP ONE TIME, THEN YOU'LL BE DEMOTED TO PARKING METER MAID AND YOU'LL BE WRITING LETTERS OF APOLOGY UNTIL BOTH OF YOUR ARMS GO NUMB!" The chief yelled. WIth that said, the chief boarded the sidecar as the police officer rode off.
"Good thing I was wearing these," Officer Jenny said, taking out her ear plugs.
"Wearing these, life's a breeze," Chatot said.
"You wear ear plugs?" Sora sked.
"I knew the chief was going to yell at me again, so I plugged these in," Officer Jenny said.
"I'm surprised he was able to spit out all those words without catching a breath," Terra said.
"How about some lunch on me?" Officer Jenny asked.
"I don't know," Sora said.
"We should consider it. I Digivolved twice in one day, so I need to keep my energy up just in case something happens again," Agumon said.
"He's right, Sora. I figured they need all the energy since we were attacked twice in one day," Kairi said.
"You remember when those Digimon all launched their attacks on us when we were helping Hippopotas?" Ventus asked.
"Point taken," Sora said.
Elsewhere, Ogremon was talking to a humanoid Digimon. He wore long black pants with red flames on the legs and boots with skull designs on them. His arms and torso are wrapped in chains, and he wore a skull-like metal mask on his face; only his red eyes and dark blue hair can be seen. Blue flames are burning on his upper body.
"You know the assignment, SkullMeramon, so get cracking," Ogremon said.
"If those twerps are as tough as you said, then it won't be a huge waste of my time. Because if it is, I'm going to burn you up!" SkullMeramon threatened.
"Don't get carried away. Remember, they took out Etemon, and that's why Mytosimon isn't taking any other chances since he died. Have them follow you," Ogremon said. SkullMeramon ran towards the town to get lure the group to him. "And once SkullMeramon has succeeded in luring them here, I can spring in my trap." He chuckled.
The group all hit the local burger place and had all on Jenny.
"This might not be the kind my dad makes, but still good," Ventus said. Agumon shoved the burger in his mouth, replenishing his strength after Digivolving twice. An alarm starts blarring from across the street as three men wearing ski masks came running out of a bank.
"What's going on?" Gabumon asked.
"Those guys are crooks! They just robbed that bank!" Sora said.
"I want you all to stay here! Buddy, let's go!" Officer Jenny said.
"Buddy, big show!" Chatot chirped. Officer Jenny took out a bowling bag and took out a bowling glove an a red bowling ball.
"Wild Tornado! Bowling staright down the allies!" Officer Jenny declared when she threw it. The bowling ball struck one of the robbers.
"Bowling straight, don't be late!" Chatot chirped. She took out anohter bowling of the same color.
"Wild Tornado! Throwing straight at the laser beam!" Officer Jenny declared. THe bowling ball struck him by the feet and he tumbled in the air.
"Laser beam, watch 'em scream!" Chatot chirped. Chatot flew right at the fallen crook.
"Get it together!" One of the robbers said.
"Use Feather Dance!" Officer Jenny ordered. Chatot flew in front of the two robbers and unleashed its feather s and they sprinkle on them.
"Feather Dance, happy trance!" Chatot ordered.
"What's Feather Dance?" Biyomon asked.
"Feather Dance is a move that bird Pokémon can use to lower an opponet's attack," Kairi said.
The third robber flinched and attempted to get away. He turned to his left. Officer Jenny wasn't going to let him get away that easily. She took out a third ball.
"Wild Tornado! Time for the ol' hook ball!" She threw it and it spins around. It dashed to his left and landed a hit onto the robber.
"Hook ball, made him fall!" Chatot chirped. The robber slowly and painfully got back up and attempted to run away.
"Freeze!" Officer Jenny ordered. "Don't move a muscle." He slowly turned around as Officer Jenny slowly approaches him. "I suggest you give up while you can. Your other friends did." Morelikely she handcuffed them and left them at a beampole. She places her bowling bag bag down and digs through it. "Of course, if you resist."
The robber scoffed, "You already used up all three of your bowling balls! You don't have any balls left!"
"IF you're so sure, then run. But IF there is one left, then I'll gurantee you that it's heavy and it's much harder than a diamond with a turbo charged power booster. One hit, and that's all she wrote," Officer Jenny said. The robber reluctantly surrendered since he didn't want to take a chance of her having an extra bowling ball. He closed his eyes, just in time for Officer Jenny to take out her handcuffs and cuffed him. THe robber opened his eyes.
"I knew it! you were bluffing!" The robber exclaimed. It drew out a crowd, applauding her for her work. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu. Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were among them.
"I said wait but I can't blame you," Officer Jenny said.
"No wonder she's called the Wild Jenny," Veemon said.
"Jenny's wild alright, but she's not mild all right," Chatot chirped. Cameras were flashing to the heroic policewoman. Reporters were gathering around her.
"May we have a statement for the Sinnoh News, please?" A reporter asked.
"Yes, for our many readers?" A female reporter asked.
"I really don't like being the center of attention," Officer Jenny said, doing a pose. "How's this one?"
"Don't like being the center of attention, huh?" Ventus asked under his breath.
"I don't think she mnd it that much," Aqua said. Merowth started to sweat.
"Whew! Is it getting hotter here, or is it just me?" Meowth asked.
"Chain of Pain!" A voice shouted, sending out a chain. It was aimed at the group.
"LOOK OUT!" Sora shouted.
The crowd saw the tall DIgimon approaching them.
"Does that answer your question, Meowth?" Kairi asked. Aqua took out her DIgidex.
"I got it here. SkullMeramon. It says he's a heavy metal version of Meramon. His flames burns even hotter than Meramon, too. He's an Ultimate level Digimon and he roasts his opponents like marshmallows with his Metal Fireball attack, Aqua said.
"I found you at last!" SkullMeramon said.
"We can take him!" Gabumon said. He started to Digivolve. "Gabumon Digivolve to... Garurumon!" Garurumon charges at SkullMeramon and the Ultimate level Digimon gave him a punch.
"Garurumon, he's too strong for you!" Sora said.
"Metal Fireball!" SkullMeramon shouted, spewing blue flames from his mouth. It struck Garurumon. "Now, to put this mangy mongrel to sleep!"
"Mangy mongre to sleep, that's so deep!" Chatot chirped.
"Quit taking the words form my mouth, you blasted bird!" SkullMeramon shouted.
"SkullMeramon, quit playing around and get with the program!" A voice shouted to him.
"Right!" SkullMeramon said. He started to run.
"He's running?" Ventus asked.
"Why?" Aqua asked.
"We'll have to go after him. He'll know about his otehr buddies," Officer Jenny said.
"Right," Kairi said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth got on Garurumon's back as Officer Jenny got on her motorcycle. Biyomon and Aquilamon started to Digivolve.
"Biyomon Digivolve to... Birdramon!"
"Hawkmon Digivolve to... Aquilamon!"
The rest of the Digimon got on the giant bird Digimon and started to fly after SkullMeramon. Ventus, Terra, and Aqua decided to wait for them at the Pokémon Center.
They followed the trail that SkullMeramon was leaving behind.
"Is it me or does it look like he's leading us?" Meowth asked.
"The question is to where?" Sora asked.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"All we can do is follow him and find out!" Garurumon said.
"Right. I'm certain there could be some other evil Digimon waiting for us," Kairi said.
"I'd say how unfortunate for them," Sora said.
Unknown to them, a Digimon came out of hiding. She is a tall, fallen angel like figure with a skin-tight leather outfit, tattered wings, and a mask covering its face. Her skin is a pale white, while her eyes and claws are red, and it is wrapped around in a long chain. She was a female version of Devimon. She chuckled.
"Those fools will be in quite a surprise when Ogremon springs his trap," the female Digimon said.
"Don't be so sure, LadyDevimon. Ogremon's demise will be mostly assured when he is not careful," Devimon said, appearing before her.
Over to SkullMeramon, he kept on running, letting them see him.
"This big thing you kept going on about beteter be worth my time, Ogremon," SkullMeramon said. Ogremon has shown up at last to spring in the trap.
"You lured them here, SkullMeramon?" Ogremon asked.
"I did what you asked. So, now what do you have in store for them?" SkullMeramon said.
"You'll have to wait and see," Ogremon said.
The group has caught up to SkullMeramon.
"There he is!" Meowth said.
"Ogremon!" Sora exclaimed. Ogremon laughed as he swung his club.
"Well now, what do we have here? Looks like SkullMeramon did something where Gorillamon and SkullGreymon had screwed up," Ogremon said.
"You would think so, ogre boy! By the way, Shrek called and he says he wants his green skin back!" Meowth taunted. Officer Jenny stepped off her motorcycle.
"You're both under arrest! Surrender peacefully and we won't hurt you!" Officer said.
"Under arrest, she's the best!" Chatot chirped.
"You'll never take us alive. Now, that you're here, I can show you what I'm made of!" Ogremon shouted as he started to Digivolve.
"This isn't good," Sora said.
"Pi," Pikachu said.
"Ogremon Warp Digivolve to-" Ogremon trasformed into a humanoid Digimon with green skin and bolts on the knuckles, hands, legs, and both sides of his head. He has a large axe on his back and is wearing black jeans with black belts all around. He also has a helmet with the same bolts and he wore brown boots with steel ends and has spikes on the top. "Boltmon!"
"Great, he's even stronger than before!" Sora groaned.
"This is what you were saving up for?" SkullMeramon asked.
"It is. You take care of they others, while I keep them busy!" Boltmon said.
"Looks like i'm going bowling," Officer Jenny said.
"No, they're too strong for that!" Patamon said.
"He's right. We can handle them!" Armadillomon said.
"You mean, I will!" Agumon said when he started to Digivolve. "Agumon Double Warp Digivolve to... WarGreymon!"
"Don't count me out!" Garurumon said. He roars as he started to Digivolve. "Garurumon Warp Digivolve to... MetalGarurumon!" WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon both charged at Boltmon as he gets out his axe.
"Go ahead and take me on! All of you Digivolve into Mega level, I can take you all on!" Boltmon dared his opponents.
"Dramon KIller!" WarGreymon shouted as he got ready to slash his claw gauntlet. Boltmon blocks with his axe. MetalGarurumon came up behind him.
"Metal Wolf Claw!" MetalGarurumon shouted, firing a stream of ice at him. Boltmon got hit hard by the attack.
"Birdramon, we can handle SkullMeramon when we work together!" Aquilamon suggested.
"Only if we Digivolve at once!" Birdramon said.
"I agree! Let's do this!" Aquilamon said. Both bird Digimon started to Digivolve at once.
"Birdramon Digivolve to... Garudamon!"
"Aquilamon Digivolve to... ShineAquilamon!"
"I can take you both on! Metal Fire Ball!" SkullMeramon shouted as he fires his blue flames from his mouth.
"I don't think so! Devine Feather Shower!" ShineAquilamon shouted, sending down a rain of feathers..
"Chain of Pain!" SkullMeramon shouted, scattering the feathers. "Is that all you got?"
"You want more? I'll give you more! Eagle Claw!" Garudamon shouted, swiping her claw at the evil Ultimate level Digimon.
WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon were continuing their battle as Boltmon blocked them both. Boltmon took out his axe and swings it around.
"Tomahawk Crunch!" Boltmon shouted, swinging his axe at them. WarGreymon blocks the axe with his gauntlets.
"Don't think you can win like this, Boltmon! Every time we go at this, you end up losing!" WarGreymon said.
"Not this time!" Boltmon said. He gave WarGreymon a punch in the gut. He then gave him a kick. MetalGarurumon charges at him and bit his arm. He gave MetalGarurumon a punch as well.
Garudamon and ShineAquilamon were still going at it. ShineAquilamon opened his beak.
"Shining Sun Beam!" ShineAquilamon shouted, firing a golden beam at SkullMeramon. "Divine Feather Shower!" He unleashed the feathers on him again. SkullMeramon was swinging his chain around.
"Nice try, birdy!" SkullMeramon taunted.
"Let me take a shot at him!" Tentomon said, flying into action. Tentomon started to Digivolve. "Tentomon Warp Digivolve to... MegaKabuterimon!" He flew right at SkullMeramon with his horn ready to strike. "Horn Buster!" He struck SkullMeramon hard. He gave SkullMeramon a lift in the air.
Garudamon, "Wing Blade!" Garudamon's attack takes the shape of a bird and heads right at SkullMeramon. When the attack made contact with him, he dissolves into bits of data.
WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon kept fighting Boltmon as he swings his axe again.
"Where is Myotismon hiding?!" WarGreymon exclaimed.
"Like I'll tell you!" Boltmon said. "Tomahawk Crunch!" He swings his axe again. WarGreymon blocks it and he gave Boltmon a kick.
"Boltmon, make this easy for yourself and spill it!" WarGreymon said.
"I'll never betray him! I'll do whatever it takes to rule both worlds! And we'll destroy anything that gets in our way!" Boltmon shouted as he gave WarGreymon a punch. MetalGarurumon charges at Boltmon again and he tackles him.
"Boltmon, this is your last chance! Tell us what we want to know!" WarGreymon said.
"I'll take it with me to the grave!" Boltmon said. He came at WarGreymon again. He shuts his eyes for a second, knowing what he says wasn't to matter. He opens them again.
"Then, be it," WarGreymon said. "Brave Tornado!" He spins around and sends Boltmon right up into the air. "I didn't want to do this to you, but you left me no other choice!" WarGreymon forms a ball of fire and hurls it right at Boltmon. "Terra Force!" He threw it at Boltmon and it struck him. Boltmon fell to the ground beaten. He reverts back to Ogremon. He pants as he struggled to stand on his feet.
"You... you.. you couldn't have beaten me..." Ogremon said.
"You brought this on yourself. There is no one to blame but yourself," WarGreymon said.
"You may have defeated me, but Myotismon will win in the end. And he will rule over both worlds. Humans, Pokémon, and Digimon all be his slaves! You can bet the farm on that," Ogremon said.
"Tell us where he is," Sora said.
"Like I said, I"ll take it with me to the grave. And even if you do find him, I doubt it will do you any good because you have already lost the war! Your efforts have been wasted!" Ogremon said. He dissolves into bits of data as he laughed.
"No, our efforts are not wasted," Sora said.
Meanwhile in Myotismon's hideout, Myotismon, Duskmon, and Mercurymon watched the fight from start to finish.
"Now, it's Ogremon's turn to be defeated," Myotismon said.
"Those whelps are becoming quite the nusiance, my lord. If it pleases thee, I shall go and finish what Ogremon and Etemon has started," Mecurymon said.
"No. We will allow them to savor their victory. In the meantime, keep a watchful eye on them," Myotismon said.
"As thou wishes, my lord," Mercurymon said.
Back to the group, the battling Digimon reverted to their Rookie forms.
"No arrest today. The chief is going give me such a shout when he finds out," Officer Jenny said.
"Such a shout when he finds out," Chatot repeated.
Later as the sun was setting, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth were all preparing to take off for Snowpoint City.
