Episode 388: Pillars of Friendship!
Where we last left off, Sora has challenged Brandon to a battle and it has the same rules as the battle between Brandon and Paul. Gliscor, Honchkrow, and Inteloen has bested his Dusclops, Solrock, and Ninjask, but the Regi Pokémon has proven to be even more challenging as Brandon has revealed that he was just testing Sora. Sora has passed Brandon's test with flying colors. Despite his Types being on his side, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel has taken down most of Sora's team. Melmetal has proven its metal against Regirock. After a fierce battle, Melmetal has triumphed over Regirock and Sora has earned the Brave Symbol as proof of his victory over the Pyramid King. Now, trouble is brewing at the Snowpoint Temple.
And now, right where we left off.
Just when they were about to take off, Samuel and Maria has driven back to the Battle Pyramid.
"Where is Brandon?!" Samuel exclaimed.
"What's wrong?" Sora asked. Brandon has stepped out as soon as he heard Samuel's voice.
"Sam? What's wrong?" Brandon asked.
"There's an emergency at the temple!" Maria said.
"Oh no!" Brandon exclaimed.
"What kind of emergency are we talking about?" Sora asked.
"A mysterious band of people has shown up and sealed off the temple!" Samuel said.
"A mysterious band of people?" Sora asked.
"That can't be good," Agumon said.
"Why would they do this?" Terra asked.
"Regardless, let's all board the Battle Pyramid and head there right away," Brandon proposed.
"Sir!" Samuel said.
"Brandon, you let us go with you. We'll have a much better shot if we work together," Sora said.
"He's right. We cna't just sit by and do nothing," Riku said.
"Right. Okay, let's board the Battle Pyramid and head down there," Brandon said.
"Right!" The group all said.
"This is where we step in! Ready, everyone?" Agumon asked.
"Ready!" All of the Digimon all said as they all started to Digivolve.

The pyramid prepares to take flight as the Digimon all followed from outside. As they rode in the Battle Pyramid, Sora couldn't help but worry about who it was.
"Who are they and what are they looking for?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Young man, I'm sure you know of the legend of the Snowpoint Tempe, do you?" Brandon asked.
"No, but you might as well fill us in," Sora said.
"Alright then. It happened a long time ago. Once afer the volcano violently erupted, the Snowpoint Forest was rich with natural resources and beauty was transformed into a sea of flowing lava. And then, out of a birght blue light, Regigigas appeared. Along with Regice, Registeel, and Regirock, the four of them halted the volcano's eruption and thus saving Snowpoint City from destruction. Later, Regigigas transformed into a stone of light and fell into a deep sleep, while in order to protect Regigigas, the legend says, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel were transformed into three guardian pillars made from the basic elements of the land. Those elements are rock, ice, and steel."
"And the location is the Snowpoint Temple," Brandon concluded.
"Don't tell me that they're after Regigigas," Sora said.
"That's precisely right," Brandon said.
"Man, I told you not to tell me that," Sora said.
"Whoever they are, they're not going to get hold of it," Riku said.
"Yeah, we'll have to stop those jerks where they stand," Meowth said.
"We'll have to know who we're up against first," Naminé
"She's right," Aqua said.
"I'll put a view of the temple entrance up on the main monitor," Samuel said. He displayed the temple's entrance to see Hunter J and her henchmen.
"Pokémon Hunter J!" Sora exclaimed.
"Chu!" Pikachu growled.
"Who's Pokémon Hunter J?" Maria asked.
"She's a Pokémon Hunter. Pokémon Hunters steals Pokémon and sells them on the black market," Terra said.
"Didn't you say that Regigigas was just a legend?" Ventus asked.
"No. There is substanard evidence that suggests that Regigigas isn't just a legend. That's why I ahve come here," Brandon said.
"They'll do whatever it takes to capture Regigigas," Ventus said.
"So, we got to stop them," Riku said.
Outside, the Battle Pyramid is flying above them as the Digimon were approaching them. J's henchmen has spotted them.
"It's the Battle Pyramid!" One of J's henchmen exclaimed.
"Someone report to J immediately!" Another henchmen said. J was contacted by one of her henchmen.
"Brandon the Pyramid King? This could be a problem. Make sure you keep him at bay!" J ordered.
"Sir! And it has those Digimon with them!" J's henman rported.
"Digimon?! Kill them!" J ordered.
"Understood!" The henchman said.
Several Skarmory and Metang all flown to slow them down.
"Use Flash Cannon!" J's henchmen ordered. The Skarmory all fired Flash Cannon. "Sludge Bomb now!" The Metang fires Sludge Bomb at the Battle Pyramid. They attempted to deal damage to the Digimon, but they didn't stand a chance. AxeKnightmon chuckled.
"I knew they would come," AxeKnightmon said.
"Shall we put an end to this charade?" Lucemon asked.
"Indeed," AxeKnightmon said. Lucemon grinned.
"How I longed to hear you say that," Lucemon said. He flown and he went to the Mega level Digimon. "Grand Cross!" He fired his attack at the Mega level Digimon. Inside the Battle Pyramid, they were holding on.
"Sir! One of the rotors is no longer functioning!" Samuel reported.
"Everyone, hang on! Emergency landing!" Brandon exclaimed.
"We have a problem! The Battle Pyramid's going down!" MetalGarurumon said.
"HerculesKabuterimon, Phoenixmon, make sure the pyramid lands safely!" WarGreymon said.
"On it!" HerculesKabuterimon said.
"You can count on us!" Phoenixmon said.
HerculesKabuterimon and Phoenixmon flew to the Battle Pyramid and helps them land the Battle Pyramid safely. The other Digimon all set their attentions on Lucemon.
"Don't think that we forgot the last time we fought, Lucemon!" Serphimon said.
"I have not. And now, it is time that I remove this goody-good form and reveal my true self," Lucemon said. He started to transform. Lucemon's new form takes the appearance of a blue-eyed blond-haired man wearing a white bodysuit and a black overcoat. He has ten wings on his back, two on his head, and two at his neck. His left wings are demonic, featuring black, leathery wings, while its right side has white, feathery, angelic wings save for the wing at his neck, which is dyed black. This duality references its possession of both divine and diabolic. He retains the symbols of theZero Unitand theDigital Hazardfrom hisprevious formon the plates on his left and right hand respectively. He also has a purple tattoo on the left side of his face, and wears red lipstick as makeup. "That's much better."
Back to the Battle Pyramid, Phoenixmon and HerculesKabuterimon checks inside.
"Is everyone okay in there?" HerculesKabuterimon asked.
"Yeah, thanks to you, HerculesKabuterimon," Ventus said.
"We're glad," HerculesKabuterimon said.
"We'll keep Lucemon busy while you stop Hunter J," Phoenixmon said.
"We can take a mini-craft to get to ther temple while Samuel stays behind and repairs the motor," Brandon said.
"Naminé, Aqua, Ven and I will stay as well and help out," Terra suggested.
"Good. I could use the help!" Samuel said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Lucas, and Dawn join in to battle J's henchmen.
"There they are!" A henchman exclaimed.
"Prepare for another attack!" Another henchman said. The Skarmory and Metang went over to attack the group.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered.
The Pokémon couple launched their attacks and pelted the attacking Pokémon. Riku stepped in and threw his Pokéball.
"Go! Incinerorar!" Riku called out and Incineroar came out. "Darkest Lariat!" Incineroar spins around and lands a hit on the Pokémon and henchmen.
Over to the Digimon, Lucemon gave a series of punches to the Mega level Digimon. He forms two orbs, one being of light and one being of darkness and merged them together. Lucemon then hurls the orb.
"Dead or Alive!" Lucemon as he threw the orb.
"No you don't!" Gallantmon shouted, holding out his shield. Shield of the Just!" He fires a crimson beam from his shield. Just then, a motorcycle is heard. It is Beelzemon riding in. He slashes through the beam. "What the?!"
"Beelzemon! It's about time!" Lucemon said.
Over to the Battle Pyramid, Ventus looks at the monitor and he gasped.
"Guys! We got a problem!" Ventus said.
"Ven, what's up?" Aqua asked. She looked the monitor and she gasped. "Another one?" Ventus took out his Digidex and analyzed the Digimon.
"Okay, one of them is Lucemon, but in Falldown Mode. It says that he's the leader of the seven Demon Lords. And he is the Demon Lord of Pride. He has demonic wings and angelic wings. And he uses attacks called Dead or Alive and Paradise Lost. And he's also an Ultimate level Digimon that has the power of a Mega level," Ventus said. "And the other one is Beelzemon. He's another Demon Lord, but he's of Gluttony. He's a Mega level. He fires Double Impact from his two shotguns and he slashes with his Darkness Claw attack."
"This we didn't need," Aqua said.
"Royal Saber!" Gallantmon shouted, firing his beam from his javelin, but Dynasmon and Crusadermon has shown up.
"Dragon Thrower!" Dynasmon shouted, sending out white energy from his clawed hands. It blocks Gallantmon's attack.
"Sprial Masquerade!" Crusadermon shouted, smacking Rosemon, Lotosmon, VenomStingmon, and UlforceVeedramon.
"Dynasmon and Crusadermon! I knew you were close by," Gallantmon said.
"We are here to ensure your defeat by our hands! VictoryGreymon will not be here to save you this time," Dynasmon said.
"So, surrender while you can, or else face destruction!" Crusadermon added.
"You'll have to destroy us all!" Vikemon said. "Viking Flare!" He sends out his maces at the evil knight Digimon. Examon shows up and blocks the maces. "What?"
"Nice try," Examon said.
"Another Digimon fighting against us?" Ventus asked. Aqua took out her Digidex and analyzed him.
"Examon. It says that he's also a Royal Knight. Despite that, he has the appearence of a dragon. He destroys his enemies with Avalon's Gate and Pendragon's Glory," Aqua said. HeavyAnkylomon rammed right into Examon as he pushes the Mega form of Armadilomon. Cranimon came rushes over, swinging his weapon around. UlforceVeedramon clashed right at Craniamon.
"You call yourself a Royal Knight? You are disgracefu," Craniamon said.
"You are the disgrace, Craniamon," UlforceVeedramon said.
Inside of the temple, J has reached the three pillars. The pillars were of rock, steel, and ice, just as the legend said.. Sitting in front of the three pillars is a light blue orb.
"So, these are the three pillars that guards the legendary Regigigas. Ice. Rock. Steel," J said. "The only thing to do is to destroy those three pillars and awaken Regigigas." She took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Salamence, let's go!" Her Salamence came on out. "We need to capture Regigigas, so use Hyper Beam, now!" Salamence fires Hyper Beam right at the pillars of rock and ice, leaving only the pillar of steel left. "That was excellent! Now the steel pillar!" Salamence prepares to fire Hyper Beam.
"Stop!" Brandon called out. She growed when the bunch has arrived. "Stop this at once!"
"So, you got pass all my men," J said.
"You must understand, you musn't awaken Regigigas. The result will be disastrous!" Maria pleaded. J just ingnored her warning.
"Salamence!" J shouted. Salamance fires Hyper Beam at the last pillar.
"Don't do it!" Brandon yelled. The steel was now destroyed. The orb started to glow vioently.
"Now what?" Riku asked.
"Could have Salamence's attack be waking up Regigigas?" Maria asked. J approached the orb.
"I will not allow you to go through with this!" Brandon shouted.
"All you do is stand and watch," J said. The orb kept on glowing. J was getting impatient. "What? Why won't Regigigas awaken? Quick! Use Flamethrower!"
"Don't do it!" Brandon shouted. Salamence fires Flamethrower right at the orb. The orb was glowing red as a red beam of light shoots straight up. Regigigas has awaken. All of Regigigas's eyes all were glowing red.
"Regigigas," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Regigigas fires Hyper Beam all around.
"Stop, Regigigas!" Sora pleaded. It was no use. Regigigas was on a rampage.
"Intense rage is making Regigigas go berserk!" Maria said.
"And what gave that away?" Meowth asked.
"You should thank me. I'll preserve the rage that dwells deep inside of you forever!" J said. She aims her arm cannon at Regigigas, but the colossal Pokémon turns and aims Hyper Beam right at J and Salamence. She withdraw her cannon. "Salamence! Dragon Pulse!" Salamence fires Draon Pulse, but Hyper Beam was way too powerful, and it resulted in an explosion. Regigias kept on firing and firing.
"If these attacks keep up, the whole temple will collapse!" Brandon exclaimed.
"Retreat now!" J ordered. Salamence flew right out.
"We need to get out, too!" Brandon said.
"Not a bad idea! I rather not be a pancake!" Meowth said. Regigigas fires Hyper Beam at a wall, causinf rocks to fall above them. Brandon took out his three Pokéballs and threw them.
"Let's go!" Brandon shouted. Regirock, Registeel, and Regice all came out and destroyed the falling rocks. The rest of the group ran out as Brandon stood and watched the destruction taking place. The three Regi Pokémon stood before their trainer. "Regirock, Regice, and Registeel, I need your protection until we get out!" The three Regi Pokémon all nodded.
Outside, J and her Salamnce had arrived and she sees the fight between the Digimon. She growled since she recognized some of them.
"Digimon here? If so, that could mean-" J surmised, before AxeKnightmon appeared.
"You surmised correctly, Hunter J," AxeKnightmon said. She growled.
"You! I was hoping you were around, because I want to pesronally kill you for double crossing me! Salamance! Hyper Beam!" J ordered. Salamence prepares to fire Hyper Beam, but AxeKnightmon chuckled.
"You fool," AxeKnightmon said, smacking Salamence out of the air and landed on the ground. J attempted to stand, but AxeKnightmon grabs J by her throat. "Did you forget that I can easily crush you? I haven't."
"Why did you follow me here? I escaped from your little prison!" J said.
"You think so, but you have it all wrong," AxeKnightmon said.
"What? You're the one who has it wrong! I got out and I'm not going back in your little cage!" J stated.
"You believe that you escaped on your own, but I believe that you had a little help escaping," AxeKnightmon said.
"What?" J asked. She then started to figure it out. She figured AxeKnightmon allowed her and her crew to escape. "You allowed me to escape? Why?"
"Now, what kind of master will that make me if I don't let my pet out to excercise every now and then?" AxeKnightmon questioned. "It was all my doing. What you learned is, no matter where you go, I'm right here to follow you." He drops her. "You and your minions belong to me, in case you have forgotten."
J's henchmen and their Pokémon tried to overcome the attacking Digimon, but they were no match for them. Her second-in-command tried to destroy one when the red lion-wolf animal came and pounched him him.
"Get off me!" He demanded.
"Where's Team Shadow?" The animal demanded.
"I won't tell you anything!" J's second-in-command defied. Agunimon approached them both.
"Who and what are you?" Agunimon asked.
"An alley. That is all you need to know. Where is Hunter J and the people who hired her?" The animal asked.
"Probably at the temple," Agunimon said. Agunimon tied him up in a rope.
Out of the temple, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Brandon, Lucas, Dawn, Maria, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth all rush out before the entrance has collapsed behind them.
"Where's Regigigas?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Probably still inside," Brandon said.
"I don't think Regigigas can get out of there," Meowth said. A blast came from indie the temple as everyone all braced themseves. 'Of course, I could be wrong." Regigigas kept figing Hyper Beam. Brandon turned to the Regi trio.
"Regirock, Regice, and Registeel," Brandon said. The Regi trio went off to await instructions.
"What are you going to do?" Sora asked.
"I'm going to calm down that rage by catching Regigigas," Brandon said. "Unleash Hyper Beam, together!" Regirock, Regice, and Registeel all unleashed Hyper Beam, but Regigigas blocked with its own Hyper Beam. "Get up close and personal with Power-Up Punch!" Regirock, Registeel, and Regice all rushed to unleash Power-Up Punch. Regigigas has taken down all three of them with one swing of its mighty arms.
"It took down all three with one hit!" Kairi said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"I have no choice! Regirock, Registeel, hold down Regigigas!" Brandon intructed. Regirock and Registeel grabbed each one of Regigigas's arms. "Regice, use Ice Beam!" Regice fires Ice Beam and freezes all three of them.
"You froze Regigigas with Ice Beam along with Regirock and Registeel," Riku said.
"A good strategy and it worked," Meowth said. J and AxeKnightmon were above watching the battle.
"And what do you plan to do in this situation?" AxeKnightmon asked.
"Simple. I'll just wait. And soon as Regigigas is exhausted from battling, then that's where I'll make my move," J said. Regigigas broke out of the ice. Everyone all gasped.
"Regice, Zap Cannon!" Brandon ordered. Regice fires Zap Cannon right at Regigigas and paralyzed.
"It felt that," Riku said.
"Registeel, Iron Head! Regirock, Stone Edge!" Brandon ordered. Registeel and Regirock launched their attacks at Regigigas. Brandon took out a Pokéballand prepared to throw it. " And now, to get in this Pokéball!" Just when Brandon was about to throw it, Ariados came and wrapped them all in its thread. J calls Ariados back. AxeKnightmon cae along as well.
"J and AxeKnightmon!" Sora exclaimed.
"Nice work!" J said. She was about to zap Regigigas as it gave off a red glow. J growled as Regirock, Registeel, and Regice were now under its control.
"What are they doing now?!" Sora asked. Regirock, Registeel, and Regice fire Hyper Beam, Flash Cannon, and Zap Cannon at J. She took the hit from their combo attack and set offwith Regigigas.
"It's just like the legend" Maria said. "Regirock, Regice, and Registeel have all become the three pillars that will protect Regigigas." Brandon attempted to call them all back, but he couldn't. Regice fires Zap Cannon at Brandon, so he dodged it. The animal came along and he slashed the threads, hlding them.
"What the?!" Sora exclaimed. He turned to the animal. "What is that?"
"I don't know. Is it a new kind of Pokémon?" Kairi asked.
"No. I am not," the animal said. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Lucas, Dawn, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, and Meowth all freaked out.
"It talksed!" Meowth exclaimed. Riku turned to Meowth.
"You talk," Riku reminded him.
"Yeah, becuase I'm a Pokémon," Meowth said.
"If you're not a Pokémon, thn what are you and who are you? You're not a Digimon, are you?" Sora asked.
"I am not what you call a Digimon either. You may refer to me as Red XIII," the animal said.
"We got to stop those four from going forward," Lucas said.
"He's right. If we don't then it'll be a disaster," Riku said. Leviamon sppears before them.
"Not one of you is going anywhere," Leviamon said.
"Is that a Digimon?" Lucas asked. Riku took out his DIgidex and analyzed him.
"Leviamon. He's one of the seven Demon Lords. He represents envy. He's a Mega level. Leviamon's attacks include Shell Shock, Tail Strike, Thunder Breath, and Duo-Tail Strike," Riku said.
"A Demon Lord?" Maria asked.
"The only way you're going to stop them is through me," Leviamon said.
"I don't think so!" War Greymon said, showing up. "Brae Tornado!" WarGreymon shouted, spinning around and spun into Leviamon. MetalGarurumon, and Gallantmon show up to join in the fight.
"Thunder Breath!" Leviamon shouted, breathing fire with a loud roar.
WarGreymon, "Terra Torce!"
MetalGarurumon, "Metal Wold Claw!"
Gallantmon, "Shield of the Just!"
The three Mega level Digimon fire their attacks and they push it back. WarGreymon turned to Sora and the rest.
"Sora, you go after Regigigas. We'll take care of this walking suitcase," WarGreymon said.
"Be careful!" Kairi said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Lucas, Dawn, Brandon, Maria, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, and Meowth went after them, keeping Leviamon busy.
Lucemon was giving Ophanimon a beating and then gave her a kick. Seriaphimon and Cherubimon rushes to help her.
"Ophanimon!" Seraphimon cried.
"Hold on! We'll help you!" Cherubimon said.
Seraphimon, "Strike of the Seven Stars!"
Cherubimon, "Lightning Spear!"
Seraphimon sends out seven glowing stars as Cherubimon threw a spear made of lightning.
"Dead or Alive!" Lucemon shouted, throwing his destructive orb, canceling them out. MegaGargomon fires at Lucemon.
"Mega Barrage!" MegaGargomon shouted, firing his missles at Lucemon. He dodges them with ease and he comes at him and gave him a series of punches like he did with Ophanimon.
"Paradise Lost!" Lucemon shouted. He gave more punch to MegaGargomon as HerculesKabuterimon, Phoenixmon Vikemon, Rosemon, Seraphimon, Ophanimon, VenomStingmon, ThunderAquilamon, HeavyAnkylomon, Sakuyamon, Cherubimon, MirageGaogamon, Lotosmon, and the warrior Digimon all shown up to attack.

"Can you all hope to defeat me?" Lucemon asked.
"We can!" All of the Digimon all said.
"Crimson Flare!" Phoenixmon shouted as she unleashed a purifying flame.
"Forbidden Tempation!" Rosemon shouted as she sends out a flurry of rose petals.
"Storm of Judgement!" Cherubimon shouted as he sends out lightning all around.
"Ray of Victory!" UlforceVeedramon shouted as he fires a beam from his chest.
"Strike of the Seven Stars!" Seraphimon shouted as he sends out seven golden stars.
"Spike Rocket Rain!" HeavyAnkylomon shouted as he unleashed his spike missles.
"Golden Lightning Blast!" ThunderAquilamon shouted as he fires golden lightning from his horns.
"Sefirot Crystal!" Ophanimon shouted as she fires ten crystals.
"Mega Electro Shocker!" HerculesKabuterimon fires a much more powerful Electro Shocker.
"Poison Laser!" VenomStingmon shouted, firing a purple laser beam from his claws.
"Spirit Strike!" Sakuyamon shouted as she sends out fox-shaped spirits.
"Gargo Missle!" MegaGargomon shouted as he fires his gigantic missles.
"Arctic Blizzard!" Vikemon shouted as he fires an extremely cold blizzard.
"Full Moon Blaster!" MirageGaogomon shouted, firing a beam from the mouth on his chest.
"Seven's Fantasia!" Lotosmon shouted as she fires a rainbow beam from her staff.

Lucemon raised his hands and all of the attacks dissolved. Beelzemon took out his shotguns.
"Double Impact!" Beelzemon shouted as he fired. Just then, something unexpected happened.
"Thunder Vernier!" A familiar voice shouted. The lighting attack struck the bullets before they could reach them. It came from BlitzGreymon. "Miss me?"
"BlitzGreymon!" The Digimon all said. Lucemon just sneered.
"Get in my way, will you? I'll teach you!" Beelzemon shouted as CressGarurumon has shown up.
"Beast Tornado!" CressGarurumon shouted, batting Beelzemon off. ZeedGarurumon has shown up as well.
"Zeed Cannon!" ZeedGarurumon shouted, firing his cannon.
Over to WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Gallantmon, and Leviamon, he roars as he approached them.
"You will not stop me!" Leviamon said.
"Not by themselves, they won't!" VictoryGreymon said, suddenly appearing. He and ShineGreymon appeared along with him.
"VictoryGreymon! ShineGreymon!" WarGreymon exclaimed.
"Good of you to join the party!" Gallantmon said.
"We can take this overgrown lizard together!" ShineGreymon said.
"I agree! Metal Wolf Claw!" MetalGarurumon shouted, firing his cold attack.
"Terra Force!" WarGreymon shouted, firing a giant fireball above his head.
"Glorious Burst!" ShineGreymon shouted, spreading his gigantic wings and fires a laser from them.
"Dramon Breaker!" VictoryGreymon shouted, performing a heroic sword technique with his Dramon Breaker in which it strikesLeviamon.
Over to the Regis, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Lucas, Dawn, Brandon, Red XIII, Maria, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, and Meowth caught up with the Regi Pokémon in Brandon's hovercraft.
"What's the Battle Pyramid's status?" Brandon asked.
"We're going to need a little bit more time until it's full repaired!" Samuel reported.
"We'll get in touch with Regigigas in the air, meanwhile, you make contact with Officer Jenny at once and let her know what's going on!" Brandon instructed.
"Understood!" Samuel acknowledged.
Over to the Team Shadow members, they were watching the show going on.
"This is even more interesting than any of us thought," Kuja said.
"You mean with those things out there. Those PHOP guys sure know how to pick their friends," Jecht said.
"They do. The plan is going better than expected. Prepare to cancel the contract at any time," Sephitorh said.
"Already ahead of you," Kefka said.
Back to the fight with Leviamon, the Demon Lord of Envy has swung MetalGarurumon down, but Gallantmon wasn't going to give up that easily.
"Royal Saber!" Gallantmon shouted, firing his beam from his javelin.
"Tail Strike!" Leviamon shouted bringing down his tail. WarGreymon and Leviamon slashed his two tails off and they dissolve into bits of data. Leviamon roared in pain.
"You can't hope to survive against me!" Leviamon shouted.
"You're wrong, Leviamon! We can hope to survive and we will!" WarGreymon shouted.
"And we won't back down!" VictoryGreymon added.
"We will triumph!" WarGreymon and VictoryGreymon both proclaimed.
WarGreymon, "Terra Force!"
VictoryGreymon, "Trident Gaia!"
WarGreymon hurls Terra Force as VictoryGreymon splits the Dramon Breaker and equips the pieces to its arm, takes all the energy within the atmosphere and concentrates it into the tips of his sword, then fires it.
MetalGarurumon, "Metal Wolf Claw!"
Gallantmon, "Shield of the Just!"
ShineGreymon, "Glorious Burst!"
ShineGreymon fires Glorious Burst as MetalGarurumon fires Metal Wolf Claw, and Gallantmon fires Shield of the Just right at Leviamon. The combined attacks of the five Mega level Digimon all overwhelmed Leviamon and he dissolves into bits of data.
"I am so jealous of your strength!" Leviamon shouted as he perishes. WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Gallantmon, VictoryGreymon, and ShineGreymon all set off to help out their friends. Speaking of which, Lucemon, Beelzemon, and the Royal Knights were holding their own against the Resistance Digimon.
"Surrender, you are overmatched!" Lucemon said.
"Never!" UlforceVeedramon said, defiently. He attempted to slash at Lucemon, but he smacked him.
"Paradise Lost!" Lucemon shouted as he was giving UlforceVeedramon a series of punches. He kicked the Mega form of Veemon in the air and brought him straight down.
"UlforceVeedramon!" VenomStingmon gasped. Dynasmon grabbed him.
"Don't turn your back on me! Dragon Thrower!" Dynasmon shouted, firing Dragon Thrower at VenomStingmon.
"Now, to finish you off," Lucemon said, readying two of his orbs. "Prepare to die! Dead or Alive!" He merged the orbs into one and sends down at them.
"Trident Gaia!" VictoryGreymon shouted as he splits his Dramon Breaker again and equips the pieces to its arm, takes all the energy within the atmosphere and concentrates it into the tips of his sword, then fires it, destroying Lucemon's attack. "Good thing we came here all at once!"
"VictoryGreymon, you really are a nuisance," Lucemon said.
"And it looks like you finally show us your true colors," VictoryGreymon said.
"Now, you die!" Lucemon said, coming at VictoryGreymon. BlitzGreymon bats him to the side.
"You first!" BlitzGreymon said, firing his lightning attack. Lucemon teleports away and takes Beelzemon and the Royal Knights with him.
"You win this round, but we will be back!" Lucemon said.
"Thanks for the save!" MegaGargomon said.
"Don't thank us yet. We have got to stop AxeKnightmon," VicotryGreymon said.
"He's right, let's go!" Ophanimon said.
All of the Mega level Digimon went off to find AxeKnightmon, kowing Sora, Kairi, Riku, Lucas, Dawn, Brandon, Maria, and the Pokémon were already on thier way.
Hunter J, AxeKnightmon, and the henchmen were awaiting for their target to approach.
"Master J, we're ready to attack on command," one of the henhmen said.
"Fire at the ground, right beneath them when they appear. Do not damage the merchandise, no matter what," J instructed.
"Sir!" The henchmen all said. The Regis all appear and fire Hyper Beam all around.
"Target, confirmed!" The henhmen on board reported.
"And fire!" J ordered. J's ship fires at the Regis, but they fire Hyper Beam to overpower it. The ship kept on firing at the ground Regis are standing on. Regigigas sinks into the ground. "All right! Liquid adhesive fire!" The ship fires her Liquid adhesive right at the colossal Pokémon. Regirock, Registeel, and Regice are free from Regigigas's control. "Regigigas is no longer able to move." Regigigas barely moves its hand and fires Hyper Beam at the ship, causing some heavy damage.
"Hyper Beam hit us! Unbale to stay airborne!" The henchman reported.
"Get out of Regigigas's firing range!" J ordered. J's ship moves out of the way. "Prepare to capture Regigigas!"
"Yes, sir!" All of the henchman all said. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel all fire Hyper Beam. J avoids them to capture Regigigas. "Try this!" J fres her cannon at it, but Regirock took the hit, turning it into a gold statue. J growled. They all arrive right on time.
"Regirock, no!" Brandon gasped.
"Get out of my way!" J demanded. J fires again, but it's Registeel that takes the hit. She tries again and struck Regice instead.
"What's up with Regigigas?" Sora asked.
"Regigigas is getting less angry," Maria said.
"It must have something to do with how Regirock, Regice, and Registeel sacrificed themselves to help it!" Kairi guessed.
"Their true intentions were to save Regigigas," Brandon said. Red XIII has seen enough and jumped off as J was about to fire, but he pounced right on her. J glared angrily at the wolf-lion creature, and RedXIII glared right back at her. He bit the device on her arm, tearing it off completely. J screamed in pain as Red XIII tossed her severed arm. Red XIII was about to finish her off when AxeKnightmon came and kicked him off.
"Disgusitng beast," AxeKnightmon said. He was about to lunge his speaar into RedXIII, only to be interupped by WarGreymon spinning around.
WarGreymon, "Brave Tornado!" AxeKnightmon blocked the attack and he goes backwards. He chuckled.
"You survived much longer than expected," AxeKnightmon said.
"Leviamon met his maker by our hands, AxeKnightmon. Now, it's your turn," WarGreymon said.
"I think not," AxeKnightmon said.
"Master J!" One of the henchmen called out. J turned to the henchmen weakly. "The client has withdrawn their request. They said you are no longer useful to them."
"What?!No longer useful? Spineless fools!" J exclaimed.
"Calm yourself," AxeKnightmon said. "We must retreat at once," AxeKnightmon said. He turned to the group. "We will settle this anoher time." AxeKnightmon said, carrying J in his arm. The group went up to the Regi Pokémon all turned to stone.
"Regirock, Regice, Registeel," Brandon sad sadly.
"Isn't there a way to help them?" Dawn asked.
"I don't know," Maria admitted.
"Perhaps I can help," Ophanimon said. She took out a javelin and aimed it at the Regi trio. "Eden's Javelin!" unleashes purifying light onto them, returning them to normal. All of the Mega level Digimon all reverted back to their Rookie forms after that intense battle.
"Regigias, please forgive fr disturbing your slumber. Please, understand that they did their best to protect you," Maria said. Regigigas nodded letting them all know that it forgives them. "Thank you, Regigigas." Regigigas rturned to its orb form and fell right asleep.
"Regigigas, I ask you one thing, that you trust your future to me," Brandon requested.
Over to J's ship, she was placed into her medical bay, putting lots of pressure on her wound, since she was losing lots of blood. AxeKnightmon and Lucemon sat alone to talk.
"Your plan worked better than expected. It's a shame Leviamon didn't survive long enough to witness your success," Lucemon said.
"Indeed. But we should be fortunate that we still have an edge over our enemies," AxeKnightmon said, laughing.
VictoryGreymon, BlitzGreymon, ShineGreymon CressGarurumon, ZeedGarurumon, and the Warrior Digimon had left to pursue AxeKnightmon and Myotismon.
As the sun has set, Red XIII is nowhere to be seen. But they didn't question the good fortune that everything was back to normal. The orb was placed back in the Snowpoint Temple.
"I'm going to rebuild this temple, just so Regigigas will never be disturbed again," Brandon said, placing the orb back in place. "And just like the legend, I'll have Regirock, Registeel, and Regice become the three guardian pillars that will protect Regigigas forever," Brandon said.
"Thank you, Brandon," Maria said.
"Maria, will you work together with me to protect Regigigas's slumber?" Brandon asked.
"Yes, I'm honored to," Maria said.
"Regigigas should rest up. It earned it," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
With the day saved, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Salamon, Veemon, Wormmon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon said their goodbyes to Riku, Naminé, Eevee, Azurill, Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, Lopmon, Gaomon, and Lalamon for now as well they did for Brandon and Maria. The group were now, setting their attentions onto Sunyshore City for Sora's final Sinnoh challenge. But will Sora and his friends meet another member of PHOP like before? Just wait and see.
