Sam sat in a chair as little Y/N sat on the floor in front of him with a notebook and pencil. "Ok Y/N if the easter bunny has five eggs for each basket and there are five baskets all together. How many eggs does the Easter bunny have?" he asked. Y/N huffed and fell back on her back.

"Uncle Sam this is so boring!" she exclaimed. Sam Chuckled.

"I know Y/N," he said, "but we gotta keep your mind sharp,".

"Come on Sammy," Dean said walking in, "the kid needs a break. How about you help me cook something to eat?". Y/N's face lit up and she jumped up.

"I'm a good helper promise!" she told Dean running to him as he scooped her up.

"Then let's get cooking," Dean said and hurried to the kitchen, "Ok Chef Y/N let's make this fun. Let's grab a bunch of stuff and meet back here,".

"Ok!" she said as Dean let her down. They spent a minute running around the kitchen gathering ingredients. When they met back up Dean had grabbed a big bag of frozen tater tots, a bag of shredded cheddar cheese, and some bacon bits. Y/N gathered a small bag of broccoli, a green and red bell pepper, and a can of corn. "What are we gonna make with this stuff?" she asked. Dean thought for a minute and grabbed a casserole pan.

"Ok, so we'll just open these," Dean said grabbing the bag of tots and ripping them open. He poured them into the pan and spread them out. "Now we'll add some cheese,".

"Can I do it Uncle Dean?" Y/N asked.

"Sure Kid," he handed her the bag and watched as she poured the cheese over the tots and then spread it around until they were all covered. Dean then grabbed a cutting board and a knife.

"What can I do now?" Y/N asked looking up at Dean. Dean smiled and picked her up. He sat down on the counter by the casserole dish.

"You can help prepare the veggies," he said.

"Ok!" she said.

"Ok first hand me the red and green peppers," Dean said as the little girl tossed them to him. She watched as Dean cut the peppers in half, cleaned out the seeds, and chopped them up. After that he let Y/N sprinkle them into the pan.

"What next?" she asked.

"Hand me the broccoli," he said. She handed him the little package and he got to work on chopping them up. She helped him spread the broccoli bits over the dish. Dean then took the can of corn and opened it up. He drained the juice before pouring it on top of the dish. Y/N then helped him add more cheese, bacon bits, and tots to the top and he put it in the oven. "Alright sweetheart," he said helping her down off the counter, "go tell everyone dinner will be done soon,".

"Ok!" the little girl said as she ran off to find the others. About forty-five minutes later Dean took the casserole out of the oven and placed it on the counter. Dean took four plates and put a serving of the dish on each plate for him, Sam, Jack, and Y/N. The little girl helped him carry two of the plates to one of the tables in the library. "This is uncle Sammy's," she said handing him a plate, "and this is your's bubby," she said handing Jack a plate. Dean sat her plate down as she hurried back off to the kitchen. She came back carefully holding a cup of coffee.

"What's that Y/N?" Sam asked.

"Well since Cas doesn't eat Y/N suggested making some coffee," Dean explained, "since he likes coffee and can join us,". Castiel smiled.

"Thank you Y/N," he said as he sat beside Jack. Soon everyone dug in.

"Do you like it Uncle Sam?" Y/N asked. Sam would've suggested something a bit healthier but he just didn't wanna make the little girl sad.

"It's very good Y/N," he said.

"I like it too," Jack added.

"Well kid, I think we make a great team in the kitchen," Dean said as he and Y/N high fived.
