Chapter 491.

"The scars of a deathly event."

(The Loud House.)

February 26, and it seems like the Loud House is silent and calm, well as calm as it gets. The pets are still there and right now Metapod is just sitting there doing absolutely nothing while the other animals are going around and doing what they do.

The eagles have flown off to keep an eye on the other louds, though Patriot and Valkyrie remain at the Loud House, both of them on watch to their two human partners and checking on how their handling after the whole ordeal with what happened yesterday.

Michelle Lewis is busy at the kitchen and she finishes washing the dishes, she then goes to the chair and sits down and puts her hand to her face. She's in so much distress too. 'Good god. The day yesterday and… Oh god. We almost lost them, again and all because of some… God damn it! We have to make sure this doesn't happen again.'

She didn't want to go through that as much as Lincoln and Jordan did, and she knows Luna was in deep pain seeing her brother and Jordan on the ground, beaten, bruised and shot, and the results comes in to making the entire wedding a total disaster.

Michelle then sees her phone vibrating and she looks to the text, and it's from her boyfriend, Peter Harris.

Peter Harris: Darlin' we got reinforcements ready to look into the whole crime that happened the other day, and some friendly company is inbound to your location. So get ready.

Michelle has no clue what this is supposed to mean. "Friendly company? What?" Michelle then hears a knock on the door and so she goes over to see who it is and she smiles at the cute sight of who came to visit.

(Upstairs.)

After the whole conflict Jordan wanted to stay at the Loud House, and be close to Lincoln and Luna. Right now the duo are both on the floor and looking to the puzzle they're both assembling, but deep down they are still conflicted and stressed.

The whole thing, about the wedding was a total disaster and could've killed them both, but no it didn't…. Instead it took a few lives and one of them was just a kid, and at the age of 8. That was a cluster of hell they did not see coming and wished it never did happen, but it did.

Lincoln wanted the whole event to be the best for Hugh Kirsch and Sirena Dimartino, he helped make Hugh's Bachelor party be something he could always remember and enjoy for years to come and he ensured that the whole event would be secured from outside threats.

He just never knew that the threats would be from within the wedding, and then what was meant to be the greatest moment for Hugh and Sirena turned into a free-for-all attack, and blood shedding war zone, and Lincoln and Jordan were in the middle of it and were so close to death, and survived.

Lincoln only wishes the others who got killed survived, but they didn't and now they're gone, and never to continue to watch as the Kirsch and Dimartino family could've had an even brighter future.

Jordan on the other hand is truly distraught at what had happened. She may not have been part of the party for Dimartino before the wedding, but having her name be mentioned so many times was an honor, because she was the one who brought them together, she was the one who started the sparking relationship between Hugh Kirsch and Sirena Dimartino.

She was honored to be the bridesmaid next to Michelle, for Sirena when she was there to be wedded to Hugh, and she was truly honored to have caught the bouquet and to one day dream for her wedding with Lincoln Loud, but then the chaos came and she was hated and defied by those who saw her as the pest to their family unity.

Jordan never meant to bring ruin to tradition, she just wanted to help with the two lost souls who understood each other, even though she had a different purpose for them to meet, and yet she went through another death experience and managed to pull through, but sad to say for those who got shot during the conflict.

Jordan didn't want that to happen, but it did and now here she is. Even though the family of Hugh and Sirena don't blame her, she blames herself for bringing the two together and making this bloody conflict happen.

Lincoln looks to Jordan and sees tears forming in her eyes, he stops with the puzzle and he goes over and embraces her, trying to comfort his saddened girlfriend. "Shhh, easy now Jordan. Take it easy, everything's alright now, we're fine."

"N-No, no it's no… Not alright." She departs from the hug and looks to Lincoln with tears in her eyes. "Lincoln… The others are dead, g-gone and a kid is… Is…"

"I know." Lincoln tries to comfort her. Seeing Jordan like this, is too painful for Lincoln and he too has a few tears. "I know your pain, Jordan. I understand how you feel and even I blame myself for being the reason to why the wedding went wrong, I wish I was never chosen as best man."

Jordan hugs him again and the duo stay in this embrace trying to cope with the critical loss and chaos that happened the day before yesterday.

They then feel another pair of arms and they belonged to Luna, she stayed home to help the duo with their issues. She is the guardian to them and as their guardian she will not leave them be to this moment of pain and sorrow and mourning.

"Lincoln, Jordan… None of us saw that coming. We could only pray and wish it never did, but we never saw it coming and even though I am happy that you two are alive still… I feel like we still lost." Luna kisses their foreheads and she pulls them close to her as she tries to comfort the two weeping preteens.

Luna knows that the whole ordeal has brought nothing but suffering and pain within their thoughts. She never thought that would've happened, she thought that the whole thing would just be a simple wedding and a beautiful time to see her old substitute teacher and the guy she had a crush on have the best liver ever.

But no, an attempt to take the life of Lincoln and Jordan was planned and made, and then came the pandemonium that turned the whole wedding inside out and caused the loss of a few lives, and one of them was a child. Something Luna couldn't shake off for a long while.

But Luna knows, that they have to pull together and see through this time of distress and torment as a way to rethink their options and be prepared for what is to come and Luna knows that the whole wedding conflict… That was just the dark beginning. There could be more yet to come, for them.

Luna then departs from the hug and she sees the teary faced expressions from her brother and he one day future sister-in-law. "Dudes, listen to me… We have been through so much and we… We nearly lost each other, but when we faced those odds after surviving, what do we do afterwards?"

Lincoln and Jordan are too upset to answer and so Luna answers for them. "We pull through and we manage to see past the conflicts and find some way to adapt and see a new perspective and learn from that dreaded incidents and we know, that what happened on February 24, was not under our control, you two know that right?"

Lincoln nods. "But Luna… The others, they didn't…"

"I know, I know." Luna kisses his forehead. "They're gone, but the whole thing was not our fault. Don't blame yourselves for the reason why you became best man and why you were the reason for Hugh and Sirena meeting, the ones to blame were those who couldn't accept the truth and choices of their family."

"They don't know how to accept change and rather treated it like some kind of disease, they were the ones who ruined everything for us and for their own family. We were there to make the event look and feel nice and make both families feel as if they are one, even though they're not from the same countries."

"They still felt the love and the emotions coming from the two who have thanked us for how far they have come. Lincoln, Jordan. You two helped make their moments the best they could have ever held dear and closest to, but the others… The cousins and sisters, they were the ones who ruined their future, their family's future and the fate of the trust and love they once had."

"They were the ones in the wrong, not the two of you. Think about it."

Lincoln and Jordan take in what Luna had just said and it all made sense, and it made them feel like they were not the burden. "Luna, I think you're right" replied Lincoln. He looks to his sister and he has tears in his eyes. "Thank you. Thank you so much Luna."

Lincoln goes over and hugs her. "Yeah… Thank you, for telling us this." Jordan goes over and does the same, and Luna embraces the two of them and tries to calm them down.

"My pleasure and your welcome. My role is to be there for the two of you, and to make sure no trouble comes to the bright future you have, just as the bright future to Hugh and Sirena will have. I'll always be there for the two of you, till the end of all things, always."

Lincoln and Jordan shed some tears as they hug Luna. "We love you Luna, so, so much!"

Luna sheds a tear and she hugs them tight. "I love you dudes too, always and always."

Just then they hear a knock on the door. They all break from the hug and go to check who it was and are surprised to see someone cute and adorable. Lucas Henvers, and the one carrying him is Michelle. "Hey guys, Jillian Henvers heard about what had happened and thought it would be a good idea to have her kid stay here for a while until she finished her work, and also help cheer you guys up."

Lincoln and Jordan wipe away their tears and they go over and embrace the little baby and the baby giggles and hugs them both. Luna smiles seeing this. 'It's always nice to have a little bundle of joy to be around to cheer some sad folks up.'

(Later.)

They're now at the backyard and enjoying the company of their special guest, Lucas Henvers and the infant is truly happy to be there to comfort Lincoln and Jordan.

The two preteens watch as Lucas looks to the grass and he touches it and giggles, he then looks to Lincoln and reaches for him and so the snow-haired Loud carries him and the two of them look to each other and smile.

Lincoln kisses Lucas on the nose and this makes him giggle and laugh. Lincoln hugs the baby and then he hands him over to Jordan.

Jordan cradles the infant in her arms and she smiles at this happy baby, she touches his nose and this makes him giggle and grab her finger.

Jordan giggles and she places a kiss on his cheek which makes him laugh and reach for her face. She lets him and this makes him laugh.

Lincoln scooches closer and she looks to the happy baby in the arms of his girlfriend. Lincoln then kisses Jordan's cheek and then she kisses his cheek, and then the two preteens kiss Lucas' cheeks and he laughs at this.

The pets all gather around and also wanna play with Lucas, and the baby laughs and reaches out to hug Charles.

Lincoln and Jordan chuckle seeing this. "Luna's right. We can bypass some bad times, and see through them as the truth and who was at fault" replied Lincoln.

Jordan nods. "Because we may blame ourselves for what had happened, but the truth still upholds that it was those who brought harm who did the whole thing, and that when time comes, then we can go in peace and so will… Those who fell."

Lincoln hugs Jordan and she hugs him back. They were now feeling as if the shattered and saddened souls within them have been reignited to the Jordacoln who everyone knows and loves.

Then a large black jet arrives, an SR-71 blackbird. Lincoln then picks up Lucas and they look to the jet and are confused. "Okay… What the heck is with the cool jet?" asked Jordan.

The jet opens and coming out are Lincoln and Jordan, from the world of "Spells and Louds." Seeing the other Lincoln and Jordan confuses Lucas and he looks to the two he knows and loves, and then back to the hero versions and claps.

Hero Lincoln speaks to them. "Guys, we heard about what had happened and we're here to see if you guys need some…"

"We're doing fine now, we're able to hang onto each other and pull ourselves back to who we are" replied Lincoln, with a small smile.

Hero Lincoln and Hero Jordan remain silent. "Oh…. Oh wow. Well, this is awkward" replied Hero Jordan.

They all remain in an awkward silence. "So, you guys wanna come in and have something to eat?" asked Jordan. "We can talk about what you guys have done lately."

The two hero counterparts of Lincoln and Jordan look to each other and then to the duo. "Yeah, sure." They all make their way into the house, and watch as the jet flies off back to the Allied outpost. They have a lot to talk about and one of them is about what comes tomorrow.

To be continued…
