Chapter 497.
"The annoyance keeps coming."
(The Loud House.)
March 4 and all the louds are enjoying the nice moment at the front yard all together, and are talking about what had happened the other day.
Lynn is playing around with her soccer ball, and she passes it to Luan who plays with her.
Lisa and Michelle are helping Lily with her reading and she is improving which impresses the duo.
Lucy is pushing the twins who are on the tire swing and the eagles are there of course to keep an eye out for trouble.
Leni is sitting next to Lincoln, Luna and Jordan as they talk about what happened the other day. The parents, Rita and Lynn Sr are at work, though Rita has to go and check on how Myrtle is handling her new room and roommate and then she has to go to a book club.
Lynn Sr is gonna be all day at the restaurant, apparently a reunion from the Royal Woods old baseball team is gonna be there and only members of the old team from 1989 are allowed and no one else.
Leni is a bit irritated about what had happened. "That lady thinks she can do what she wants? She thinks she can tell others what she wants too? What is her deal?"
"The only deal I see is that she is a few screws loose in the head and has no regards for the privacy of others" replied Lola.
Lana looks to her. "Lols, you were kinda like that too, you always snooped on us to get our secrets and our diaries and also Lincoln's journal."
"That was the old me and I clearly don't seek to do that anymore" replied Lola. "I wanna come out into the competition clean and with no bad records, sort of."
Lucy sighs. "Anyway, back to what we were saying. How the heck are we gonna have to deal with some crazy lady who wants to take over Royal Woods and turn it into the town for that weird haired president reject?"
Lisa scoffs. "Her chances of winning is not possible. She doesn't possess the material in being respected or liked, and heck not even loved by everyone in Royal Woods. I doubt she'll even have one vote. Her ways are more narcissistic and racist than anyone in history and if she keeps this up, then no one will vote for her or even give a ding dang whatever to her method."
"Lady, mean and crazy" said Lily. She then does a raspberry to the thought of the crazy woman.
"I second that one, Lily." Luan kicks the ball back to Lynn. "But even if she doesn't get the win, she will try something else. Heck, she might rig the votes and win through cheating."
Lynn scoffs and she keeps the ball bouncing on her head. "Cheaters never prosper guys and sure to heck she is one dirty cheater. Recall that Vic guy who used to work for him?"
"Totes recall him and glad he's out of the picture too" replied Leni. "I mean, I knew he was kinda mean and rude even when I first started my internship at the mayor's office and helped fix the copier, but I never knew he would betray Mayor Davis like that."
"You did the right thing" replied Jordan. "You made sure that he didn't get the dirt or anything to use against Mayor Davis, and now he can rot in jail and when the time does come, then Selena Williams might join him."
"That is, if she does something bad in return" replied Luna. She puts her guitar away and looks to the others. "We don't know what she could do next, we know for sure that she might go above all odds to get the win and make sure no one and I mean, no one would stop her glory to being mayor."
"She won't." They all look towards Lincoln. "Because sure as heck she can't get near the votes, not without alerting FutureTech about her actions. After her arrival and to the fact she's lost in the head and because of her track record, the whole allied base has been alerted, remember?"
"Which means when the votes have been casted and counted via Jack Cyber, then she won't win it and it is true, that she won't have anyone on her side to even make her become mayor or prove anything. But her idea to cheat, is like pulling a dirty Trump move and that's just cold hearted too."
They all feel confident about that. "I will win you hoodlum!" They all turn around and see the woman they were talking about and she comes out of her car. "You better wash that mouth of yours, you don't know what you're talking about!"
"Actually he does." Michelle Lewis gets up and confronts the woman. "With you here in town and the many dark and rude things you've done which has been kept in records, you won't win and even if you ask for a recount, they won't and that'll prove that you're as twisted and as demented and insane as Donald Trump ever was."
"So, why don't you leave this family alone and get as far away from this town before the riot begins and the folks send you on your merry way in whatever works to ensure you never, ever come back! Or would you rather spends the rest of your time with your good pal, Vic?"
They all get up and look to the woman in anger and they're all ready to make her leave and the same goes with the pets as they all growl and stand fast to defend and attack.
Selena Williams looks to all of them who are against her, and she sees the rest of the folks in the neighborhood also looking to her sternly. "You're all insane! You're all twisted! I will become mayor and I won't lose! I shall win tomorrow and when I do, I will start with getting rid of this family!"
Selena Williams goes into her car and she drives off.
Lynn and Lana feel like throwing some mud to her car, but Lincoln stops them. "No, she's not worth it. She never will be, because tomorrow, whatever she does to ruin the voting will prove that she was meant for one place, the stoney lonesome."
"Or an asylum" replied Luan. That one they can all agree on. They all go back to their usual fun time.
Lincoln on the other hand was getting some concerns. 'She's gonna be up to something and I got this bad feeling it could hurt someone and end someone too.'
(Somewhere outside of Royal Woods.)
Located on the southern area of the outskirts: Peter Harris along with some troops and Mayor Davis arrive to the outskirts of town and see what they found and they have even brought some paramedics with them to see what this was about.
What transpired? The Gurdle couple were out doing their usual alien hunting thing, then all of a sudden they see this man on the top of the electric fence and he said that his car broke down and he had to fix it, then something came from below the earth and tried to attack him and so he went to high ground and waited there.
He saw that the thing was gone, but he didn't take any risks and waited for someone to help him and here we are now.
The paramedics tend to the man's wounds and sees his has some bite marks on his legs as if more than one small mouth with teeth were biting him, and they found his car….. Six feet into the earth next to the electric pole.
Peter Harris looks at the car they dug out and he sees tons of damage to it and Mayor Davis is surprised and so are the Gurdle parents. "Oh my, what on earth did this to the car?"
Officer Schoffner goes towards them. "From what we got from the man, he said three orange snake-like things came out and attacked him and he jumped onto his car and the whole thing started to rock back and forth and so he took to the nearby electric pole and waited there."
"I still can't believe he went through one whole night on the thing and went to sleep while holding on. I feel bad for the poor man, but I wanna know what the heck did this to his car and how three snakes even dragged it into the earth."
Mayor Davis then asks Peter. "You think it could be a new kind of Pokémon?"
Then the Gurdle couple go to them. "Possibilities of an underground alien race?"
Peter Harris looks to the couple. "Why don't you two get outta here, we don't need no dang conspiracy of aliens since we already have some up above. Remember?" They all look up to the Gladius Battlecruiser flying above them.
"Now let me handle this and see…" Then he recalls something. "Hang on a dang minute, was there anything else the man said about what he saw?"
Officer Schoffner looks through her notes. "Yeah, he said he saw this lump in the ground moving and it seemed to search around for something and possibly only looks for sound and vibrations and probably was lured by his car breaking down. The large lump in the dirt left when it a deer ran by."
Peter Harris then recalls what the FutureTech man, Victor said. "Dang, looks like something came to our world and is one hungry son of a worm."
Mayor Davis and the others are confused. "Worm?"
Peter Harris then grabs his phone. "I gotta call them to get over here now. We got something big, mean, hungry and if not taken care of, will turn into something ten times worse and this ain't no common earth worm that we can just case aside in the garden, this thing is huge!"
Zach's mom asks. "How huge are we talking about?"
Peter Harris then sends the message. "Like a chuck wagon huge, 30 feet and hungry for anything in the dirt or above the dirt and it is not from this world, or possibly from this time line."
Mayor Davis realizes this is a threat level they have to inform. "I should probably…"
"No need madam Mayor" replied Peter Harris. "This thing won't be able to enter the town with the ground being occupied by roads and concrete areas, but I suggest putting warnings at Tall Timbers Creek, since it does neighbor a forest that leads to the near outskirts of town."
"On it!" Mayor Theresa Davis gets into her limo and she drives off to inform the local Tall Timbers Creek to be closed and all animals to be evacuated and fast.
Officer Schoffner then looks to Peter Harris. "Did you send the message?"
Peter Harris nods. "I did, and now we just need to wait for the backup to arrive and then we can settle this whole conflict down before this thing comes and tears apart our town and becomes worse than ever." He then goes back to his Grizzly Tank.
"I need to get back to the outpost and use the Seismometers to track down its movements, chances it may have found something and gotten ten times worse." He drives off leaving Officer Schoffner to wonder.
'What the heck is even going on and as if that rude lady who's running for mayor wasn't bad enough, now we got some giant man-eating worm? Dang, this year is just getting unexpected real fast.'
