Chapter 501.
"Aftermath of the unexpected Comeback."
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
At this time everyone is talking about what had happened the other day and what did happen the other day? Let's recap guys:
Leslie Silver and her posse ran away from their homes, reunited and then headed back to Royal Woods.
They attempted with the plan to once again get Lincoln to love Leslie Silver.
The plan went south and they were caught by everyone in the mall.
Karen Houseman went rogue and attempted to harm the baby if they didn't listen to her demands.
She fought off Leslie Silver, Regina Westwind and Chastity Higgins because she betrayed them.
Lincoln tried to fight her and thank goodness Lucas was safe and secured.
Jordan Rosato and Leslie Silver teamed up and took her down, alongside the assistance of the others.
Karen and the others have been arrested and are sent off back home.
Leslie Silver vows she will come back.
Does that about sum it up? Yeah, it does. Now, back to what's going on.
Lincoln and Jordan enter the school, and the whole crowd of preteens see them and remain quiet. They all couldn't believe that someone of the past annoying times of Royal Woods came back, got betrayed and then teamed up with Jordan to take down the traitor.
No one could've ever thought that Jordan Rosato would team up with her rival, Leslie Silver.
Lincoln and Jordan arrive to their lockers and they put their things away and grab what they need for the morning session of class. Then they spot the rest of their friends walking towards them.
"Hey guys, you two alright after what happened the other day?" asked Chloe.
Lincoln sighs. "I'd be lying if I said that we're fine. We're not really doing so well after what had happened yesterday guys. Could you give us some space please?"
Clyde nods. "Sure thing, Linc. Just, try and calm down. We know that what happened was something you…. We did not see coming, but it shouldn't mean it's something to be worried about all the time."
"McBride's got a point there dudes" replied Polly. "You guys have fought tons of bad guys who came back and each one fought was unexpected and ten taken down. You guys can get through it, always."
Jordan smirks. "Thanks for the pep talk guys. Linc and I are gonna go to the library before first period begins." The duo walk away from them and head on to the library.
Rusty is uneasy from this, and he looks towards the others "Guys, after what we saw and whatever heck just happened. What do we do the next time Leslie and her posse come back?"
"Well, one thing's for sure everyone, is that Leslie and the other two girls don't seem so tough and mean and junk" said Liam. "Just annoying and darn right rude."
"He's not wrong guys, the real threat is Karen Houseman and she's the bully amongst them" said Kat.
Giggles looks towards the Journalists club. "You guys found anything about what happened to those girls after what happened yesterday?"
Jenny then uses her tablet. "Well, each of the rich and mean girls have been sent back to where they came from, and are in for some maximum heavy duty grounding and word is, that they're gonna get summer school too."
Delilah then says the next one. "But as for Karen Houseman, she's not gonna be grounded because she was sent to Juvie for attempted kidnapping, murder and for battery and assault. She's literally become a disgrace to the Houseman name, but her parents won't disown her, yet."
Cristina uses her tablet. "The parents of Karen are looking for a therapist or psychiatrist so they can help her. They believe that being around Leslie and learning how to be mean, rude and getting what she wants is the reason why Karen is like this, so they need to try and fix her mental issues."
This surprises them. "Wow. That is just…. Dang" said Allison. "Didn't think Karen was unstable. Did she do anything when she was sent to juvie?"
"She freaked out and threw a tantrum like a baby" replied Jenny. That one made them go silent.
"Wait what?" said Tabby.
Delilah nods. "Yeah, Karen was so miffed at failing that she freaked out and made one heck of a tantrum and the guards had to taze her and then restrain her within a strait jacket. She has lost it and she's literally become as demented as most of Lincoln and Jordan's enemies."
This was a major concern and now they know that a new foe has been made, and it's far more dangerous than Leslie and her two remaining friends.
"Well, whatever happens. We'll need to expect the unexpected" replied Chad. "Leslie and her posse might be mean, rude, annoying and such, but Karen is one killer preteen girl."
"No kidding man" said Hassan. "We know one thing and that's that Lincoln and Jordan will figure something out and show Karen to never mess with them and this town, ever again."
They all agree and they head onto their lockers, then Liam recalls something. 'Right, I got me another baseball game after this. Better get my good arm ready and… Ow.' Liam feels his right arm feeling sore.
This catches Tabby's attention, and makes her suspicious.
Flat Tire however looks to the calendar in his locker and smiles. 'Alright Flat Tire, on March 10 is your B-Day, so get ready to skate and ride it like the true 13 year old you're gonna be, dude.'
Then Mr. Bolhofner walks by them. "Hope you guys are ready for the math quiz today." This makes them close their lockers and go wide eyed, they forgot about the math quiz today! No!
(Middle School Library.)
Lincoln and Jordan are both in the library and reading some books that have what they need for their next book report and they're doing well with what they've found, heck Lincoln asked Lisa if she had a book on what he needs and she did.
Lincoln puts his notebook away and then he looks to Jordan who closes the book she was reading and then she closes her notebook. "Finished the fifth part of the book report. What about you Linc?"
Lincoln sighs. "Jordan, I know we have a lot to talk about and we need to know how to handle the whole ordeal and I know where we should go, well go after school that is."
Jordan nods. "I'm in Linc, we need to talk this out and try to figure things out before things get any worse the next time this kind of heinous act happens. You should inform Luna about this."
Lincoln nods. "Alright, I know it'll feel nice with Luna around by our side." Lincoln grabs his phone and then he sends a text message to her.
Lincoln: Hey sis, Jordan and I are gonna go to the park after school. You want in? You can bring Sam.
Luna: Sure thing bro, I think I know what's going on and it's still the talk of the school here too. See you later bro.
Lincoln puts his phone back and he tries to relax. 'That whole incident, really did put up one hell of a wake up call.'
(Ketcham Park.)
Lincoln and Jordan arrive to the park and have the eagles with them, Patriot and Valkyrie. But they do see the other eagles with Ryan, Gretchen and Hope.
They wave to that group and they wave back, they let Patriot and Eagle fly off and join their kids in some flight training and they sit by the bench and watch this happen.
They can see Lucy talking to Haiku and Persephone as they sit underneath the shade of a tree and being watched by Ghost-Type Pokémon, then there's Delilah and Cristina talking about something by the fountain and then they see Jenny walking away from the park and looking to her notebook about something important.
They then spot the infant with her mother by the benches far from them and near the playground.
Lincoln then holds Jordan's hand. Jordan notices this and she too holds his hand and the duo smile. "So, what the heck do we do now?" asked Jordan.
Lincoln sighs. "I don't know Jordan, I don't know. I mean, I am kinda shaken and a bit startled after what had happened the other day and thank god we didn't get hurt too much and at least he's doing fine…" The duo watch as Lucas is asleep with Jillian carrying him and she watches as Darcy is playing by the swings with her friends.
"We need to be ready for what happens next. We need a plan for when something bad happens. Like, if a bad guy or an enemy of ours comes back then we make contact to everyone else and have them take cover and evac someplace for safety."
Jordan thinks about this. "Huh that does sound a good idea. We can have an emergency beacon setup and ready and then the person who might be priority target or might get into the cluster has to be removed from town and placed in the Allied outpost for safety and that should be Lucas and his mom."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, because the bad guys or enemies would be after us or someone else and even if they are after someone else, we do not let them fight alone or face more than one enemy, because that does not sound fair. We keep those who aren't involved away from the conflict."
They then spot the Gladius Battlecruiser flying high above the town. "We're gonna need some emergency other world backup just to be safe, I mean you did have a big Zerg monster in your front yard, once."
"Yeah, that big guy was a good help. Maybe we can get something else as backup" said Jordan. Lincoln nods and then looks to the sky and Jordan can tell what this is about.
"You still worried about what happened when Leslie Silver came back the other day?"
Lincoln sighs. "Yeah, I mean I didn't like it when she came back, but then I was happy to know she would help us, which she has a couple of times last year…. Then, she began to rant about coming back again. I don't like this, I mean she doesn't seem like the killer type, but she might be up to something when she does come back."
"Then we'll be ready to take her down again bro." The two preteens turn around and they see Luna and Sam have arrived. "There's no way to heck that we're gonna let that no good rich brat come back and take you way bro."
"Yeah, we'll be sure she goes back to where she came from or get locked up for good" said Sam.
Jordan then looks to Lincoln and she kisses his cheek. "We just went through a lot the other day and so did Lucas, and what happened was scary and I even felt scared from it. But remember that in the end, we can pull through and find some other way to counter the trouble and send it off packing."
"We went through a lot and we fought through a lot and gosh darn it, Lincoln we have learned to move on through so much. We can move on from this and so can Mrs. Henvers and her son, Lucas. We can all find some way to make things right and pout the troubles behind us."
Lincoln smiles hearing this and he hugs Jordan.
The girl smiles and she hugs him back, and soon they're joined by Luna and Sam.
The crisis from the other day was something that felt startling and very unsettling, but they can pull through and the next time either Leslie and her friends and former friend Karen bother to show up, then they'll be ready for them.

A/N: With Leslie Silver and her posse out of the whole crisis, things might go back to normal and we're gonna be seeing a whole lot more of what is to come and chances for trouble to show up is gonna be likely. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
