Gonna speak with some family, gonna come up with the plan and then make the journey through the path that leads to the one place where they will see the darkness from within the nightmares and possible beyond. This could be hard for them to do, but they need to stop this darkness before it goes into their world. So, enjoy reading.
Spells and Louds.
Chapter 602: Words before the nightmare journey.
(Spellman Estate.)
At this moment, something is happening and that thing that is happening is everyone who have been informed about this issue from previous chapter are now getting ready to leave for something dark and dreadful to face, even though they have faced things that seem worse, but this one is an unknown kind of worse.
So, they ready what they have and prepare for departure to the next mission.
Neil and Gwen hand Lily over to Gothitelle and they look towards Michelle. "Try and keep things together while we're gone and we'll try and make it back" said Gwen.
Neil can see the concern in her eyes. "You got something to say? Say it now."
Michelle sighs. "This is… I don't even know what the heck am I gonna do if you guys don't come back. I mean, we've done this before when you guys have to go somewhere and do something big and intense, but this feels… Feels…"
"Different?" said Gwen. "Yeah, we know and it's not an easy task to go through, especially what we have to go through, but we have to put a stop to this darkness before it brings harm to those who live in this world and you know that we need to take the risk and go in deep and fight it."
"This isn't just about stopping this nightmarish energy, it's also about saving everyone we know and love." Neil goes to Lily and kisses her cheek. "Because we don't want anything else bad to happen to those we cherish and hold dear. We have to go and take care of this, before it gets worse."
Gwen then goes over and she hugs and kisses Lily. "We'll try to come back, but we can't promise anything."
Lily can tell that things are gonna happen and it might be bad. So she hugs Neil and Gwen. "Take care… Don't get hurt. I love you."
Neil and Gwen are touched by this and they embrace her too. "We love you too, Lily flower."
Michelle sheds a tear hearing this and then she realizes. 'Lincoln and Luna, they're filled with so much pain and distress from the past. I fear that whatever is making this nightmarish energy might do something to them. I hope they'll be safe.'
'Even though I feel as if I am part of the Spellman family… Lincoln and Luna are the family I truly see. They gave me a shot at redemption and wanna help me see what future holds for me and what purpose. I will not forsake them if something goes wrong. I hope they pull through and stay safe.'
Speaking of which, the rest of the Spellman kids are all looking ready for the fight, all of them have to make some calls to their friends about what's gonna happen.
Duchess Swan on the other hand was not coming, she's gonna stay in Ever After and see if she can act as backup, and they can't risk Timmy coming with and so he was tasked to inform this to Fairy World about what's gonna go down.
Linka and Leni are both talking to Loni and sharing some last goodbye hugs and kisses, but last night Leni had a last night of bliss with him at his home, to ensure that they might not come back, but Loni knows they will come back and they will see each other again. Linka also says goodbye to Courage and wants him to be brave and strong.
Sunset Shimmer is talking to her friends at Canterlot High and then she speaks with her friends at Ponyville especially to Princess Twilight Sparkle back at Canterlot Castle.
The Sharps are all locked and loaded and are having one last hug towards Kick, Simon and the Dazzles, but they ensure to them that they will come back and as always, they do the same to all of their Pokèmon companions, even though they know that they will come back, they fear for what is to come.
Sergei and Loona along with Leon also arrive to the Spellman Estate, and Sergei and Loona drop off their pups, Fenrir and Felicia to Michelle so she can keep an eye on them. Jordan Rosato already spoke to her parents and that she'll come back with Dominic, and now she's there outside of Spellman Estate.
Now we take a look towards Lincoln and Luna and see how they're doing. Lincoln walks into Luna's room and he sees her mom putting on her jeans and then she buckles up her belt, she's already wearing a white t-shirt and she sees Lincoln and smiles. "Hey kiddo. You feeling alright?"
Lincoln goes over and hugs her. "This is not gonna be an easy ride mom, this I know."
Luna hugs him back and kisses his forehead. "Whatever happens Lincoln, just know that we'll always be together and we'll always stand strong. I don't know what we might be up against, but with the combined powers we have, we can face this thing head on."
Lincoln smiles. "And with the family and team in tow for the ride. We can fight this and we will end the nightmare before it even spreads." He sheds a few tears, in which Luna wipes them away.
"Come on now kiddo, none of that now. You're a brave kid and I am dang proud of you for going this far and trying your hardest to fight through hell or high water, but deep down, I know your scared and so am i. So, let's be brave and pull through, together."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, okay mom."
Then Linka appears at the door. "Guys, Gyro's here. It's time."
Lincoln and Luna nod, they get up and Luna grabs her purple jacket and she puts it on and enters her Luna Frost form and they walk out the bedroom door to meet with the others outside the house, they got a world to go to.
(The Loud House.)
The louds are all talking, and also are worried about what they have heard about from Lori, Luan and Lucy, and this makes them all concerned, especially Lynn and Lucy. Since they were the ones who heard this from Lucy way before anyone else did.
So, they all have a meeting in the living room, but someone is not with them and is coming down the stairs and that someone is Lucy Loud and she's already prepping the yellow rain coat she got. Lucy then looks to the amulet that she was tasked to keep safe and it blinks towards her.
'This is a dark and dangerous task, and yet I have to see this through and put an end to the nightmares that would come to harm this world, and my family.'
Lucy comes down the stairs and she looks to the family who have gathered in the living room and they look towards her, and she can see Lori as Volcana and Luan as her Quinn form and so she comes down and she readies her rain coat and she sees the rest of the family looking towards her. "I can tell things are not…"
Then Lynn Sr embraces her tightly and weeps. "Don't go! Please don't go! This isn't even for you anyway! You're only 9!"
Lucy sighs. "Dad, I'm 10. Remember?"
Lynn Sr realizes this. "Right, sorry." Then he weeps as he hugs her. "Still… Don't do this! Please!"
Rita goes over and she manages to pry her husband from the Goth girl. "Lynn, sweetie stop. Lucy has to, well she needs to do this."
"B-But… She's not ready…. She's just a girl!" Then he sees the upset looks from all his daughter. "That's not what I mean, what I mean is that she's too young for this!"
"But from what we have been told, the darkness and nightmares have been prowling around her, which could mean that she has to confront this and possibly she is the one meant to aid in ceasing this unimaginable nightmare that threatens our world" said Lisa.
"If she doesn't do this, then our world would be lost and consumed by whatever this darkness seeks. This, signal tower is the source and this thin man is calling to her, and the reason to this may be unknown and yet it sounds as if it is truly an important conflict that has to be resolved."
The twins are concerned about this and they go over to Lucy and embrace her. "Please come back safely, Lucy."
Lucy hugs the twins as well. "I will, I promise." Lisa feels for this and she gets off the couch and runs over to hug her as well, then Lynn gets up from the arm chair and does the same.
Rita gets emotional and she goes over and hugs her Goth daughter, the others back away and let her have this. "Mom, I need to stop this darkness and see what the Thin man wants with me and I know this has something to do with what he went through and who left him there."
"I know, I know baby." Rita sheds a few tears, but she manages to stay strong. "We know you need to do this, or it won't go away and will hurt all of us." They depart from the hug and Rita looks to the eyes of her 10-year old daughter in black. "You're really brave to do this, Lucy. I'm proud of you, sweetie."
"Thanks mom." she then looks to the others. "This is not gonna be an easy thing to go through, but if something should happen then…"
They all go over and hug her. "We know Luce, we know" said Lori. "Luan and I will do what we can to be there for you, but we know when you wanna face something alone. We know you can handle it."
Lucy smiles and hugs them all. "We will stop this nightmarish world and we will see what that thing wants with me, the only way to save our friends, family and loved ones, is to seal the darkness of the other world, of the little nightmares that lurk within."
They all depart from the hug and Lisa chuckles at what Lucy said. "As cryptic an creepy as always Lucy."
A knock is heard on the door and Luan goes over and opens it. The person who knocked is Bill Cipher. "Kids, it's time. Everyone is ready and have left the Spellman Estate, time to go guys."
The three louds nod, they look back to their family and give them one last hug. They then walk out the front door with the family following and they watch as Lori, Luan and Lucy walk on through the portal and with Bill Cipher following behind, and then the portal closes behind them.
The louds could only do is pray that they can come back. But also pray that whatever it is they're gonna be up against, that they can handle this and end the darkness before it gets worse.
Lynn is more concerned as any of them. 'Luce, please come back and whatever this thing wants. Do the right thing and put a stop to this evil. We're all counting on you sis.'
(Black tortoise Poseidon.)
Located somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, the mighty black tortoise which resides within the oceanic borders is situated at some small island that has surfaced but this island is odd and very gloomy.
In fact, it's not even an island. The whole thing is just some rock floating in the middle of the ocean and isn't even sinking and what's odd is this large door that's situated above the floating rock and it has the symbol of an eye.
Naval and air force have been deployed and the men of FutureTech see this large door just sitting there at the floating rock. "Well, this thing is spooky, I mean check out this fog guys" said Victor.
"Honestly, I kinda saw this one coming" replied Clover. "I mean, we got this floating rock in the middle of the ocean, a large door with one eye looking at everything and I wear it's blinking and then the fog… Damn, this fog makes it all the more worth the meaning to spooky and creepy horror movie style."
"He is not wrong." Martin then uses the Burst drones to scan the door. "This thing, it's like the Great Gate but… The material of plain it is made of is nothing compared to what the Great Gate has been forged from. This thing is born of somethin evil and what lurks on the other side is the source of that evil."
"Then we better pray we can knock it down and…" They all look up and see Jack Cyber fly towards them in his jet mode and he transforms and lands. "So, what's the word when you spoke with your lady?" asked Victor.
Jack Cyber sighs. "She's concerned and hopes for me to come back safely and alright. She's just as upset as anyone of our friends in this world who all wanna make sure we're not gonna get killed when we go through that damned evil door."
"It's as the same with the others I suppose, and yet it must be done" said Martin. "We just need to wait for the others to get here, especially the Guardian, Shang Tsung and Bill Cipher."
They then spot this large portal opening and coming out are every member of the Royal Defenders on earth, and with them are the Guardian Gyro, the chaos master, Bill Cipher and the Sorcerer Shang Tsung and all of them look locked, loaded and ready.
"Speak and you shall receive." Bill Cipher looks to the door. "Wow, and I thought my monuments would be creepy and spooky, but this beats it by a long shot."
"You are not wrong." Shang Tsung's eyes glow green. "I sense souls on the other side, thousands of them and are all lost and searching for a way out, and something within there is taking their souls and making them into fuel for whatever it is we're up against."
"That must be the signal tower" said Lucy. "From what I have seen through my dreams, there's something in there that's feeding off souls and claiming them from those who have seen through the TV and whoever is making this happen."
"Then let us, begin" said Gyro.
The Black Tortoise Poseidon slowly moves towards the floating rock and it deploys its landing platform and is docks near the large rock in the middle of the ocean, the heroes all make their way down and they stand in front of the large dark door with the single eye.
Gyro looks to Lucy and nods. She understands and she pulls out the amulet with the blinking eye and she looks to the doorknob with the lock on it.
"Let me help ya kid." Bill Cipher gives Lucy a boost and she hovers 50 feet from them and she points the amulet to the keyhole and this causes the eye to glow and manifest an ethereal key, she puts the amulet back into her raincoat and she holds the large key and pushes it in.
She then turns the key and they hear the locking mechanism within the doorknob begin to turn and click. Bill Cipher slowly brings Lucy back down and they stand back and see the large eye on the door open and look to them.
Lucy then steps forth. "We seek the signal tower, take us to the Pale City, now!"
The large door's eye blinks and then it begins to shake, the door begins to slowly creak open and so they back up and watch it show the portal from behind it and all of them say one thing.
"Whoa!"
They look towards the portal and each of them are concerned, and yet trying to be brave. "So, who goes on through?" asked Boomer. Then he gets lifted by Sergei. "Hey! What are you doing?"
"You asked and so it shall be done." Sergei walks towards the door.
"You are insane!" He then tosses Boomer and he's through the portal, they then hear his voice. "Guys, I landed on a bed and it's really, really… Wow this city looks sad."
"Well, he's alive. Let's go on through" said Carol. They all make their way through the portal, Lucy looks to the amulet and sighs.
'This is it. Time to go and see what the Thin man wants and to end that Signal Tower.'
As they all go on through, the door slowly closes and the eye seals shut.
