The blue shell was the worst.
It always went right to whoever was in first place. It just skipped everyone else and went right for you. Even if you were just about to pass the finish line it didn't matter, you still got hit, and you still lost. Sho didn't know why they'd even bothered inventing such a stupid power up. Even if you were the one in first place it still went to you and you lost!
He was glad that big sis had the blue shell and not him.
She was the one in first. Because she had the blue shell she wouldn't be able to pick up another power up…not unless she let herself fall to second place and then hit him with the blue shell. Hatori did that…but he was a dick hole. Big sis wasn't a dick hole, she was nice, and he knew that she would just hold onto the blue shell for the rest of the game. That at least freed him up to get another power up…if he got the lightning bolt that made you lose your stuff then it would be great….
Of course he didn't.
"Stupid fucking squid…" muttered Sho as he got what had to have been the second worst power up in the entire game. What was even the point? Ok, so there was ink on the screen now, that didn't mean that anyone had to go any slower. If anything that meant that everyone was just going to go faster…and it wasn't even like you could fall off the world either! They were on the island now and, yeah, there was water but not at this part!
Mario Kart sucked…but this was what big sis wanted to play so this was what they were going to play.
"Sho, don't-don't say that…if you say things like that then…then that's cursing and you shouldn't…you shouldn't say things like that." Said big sis. Sho rolled his eyes. What? Had she been talking to Fukuda? Was she going to be all 'language' and then he was going to be all 'fuck you' and then…wait…no….he didn't say stuff like that to his sisters…
Even if they were both on dad's side.
Mukai was two and dad let her have all the soda she could drink and he played with her and stuff. She didn't know any better. She didn't even know how to wipe her own nose so how could she tell that dad was bad news? Big sis was twelve now, she was still older than him, and she had even more memories of dad than he did. She knew what he was like…she had been there when dad had done…all the shit he did…but she was still on his side. She was always hanging out with him and sleeping in his bed and listening to him talk about boring stuff like taking over the world or outer space or why kendo was the greatest game in the world…and it wasn't even! The swords weren't even sharp and all the guys were covered in armor. It would have been worth watching, maybe even watching with dad, if the kendo guys were naked and they had real swords-

Don't think about naked guys or any guys. Big sis and baby sis were right there. His brain had been so stupid lately…well it had been stupid times. He'd heard, before, that if you played stupid games then you won stupid prizes so maybe the same went for if you lived a stupid life. Then stupid stuff would come to you or something. He didn't know. Maybe he had stupid genes, too, since dad was stupid. Dad was stupid enough to be all 'you're allowed to be bi' like…like he even got a say in what Sho was and was not. He didn't like girls, not even his own girlfriend, and he had a boyfriend and when he grew up and ruled the world then he was going to marry Ritsu and they were going to hang out together and play video games that weren't Mario Kart…well unless big sis and baby sis wanted to play….but only for a little bit. Then they could play something fun like Smash, or something with blood like Mortal Kombat, or something with a lot of blood like that one game he'd heard of where people killed each other with chainsaws.
That was what this game needed, blood and a chainsaw power up…and also for big sis to stop cursing and to get rid of that stupid blue turtle shell too!
"You're stoned, you don't know what you're saying." Said Sho
"I-I'm not-"said big sis
"You're stoned! Stoned!" shouted Mukai. She put her controller down and started jabbing her finger in big sis's face. It didn't matter that she'd put it down, she was in eighth place and still on her first lap. This game wasn't the best for babies, well really little kids who used to be babies, but he didn't have any baby games that she could play. She had her phone but that only had one played games and she really wanted to play with him and big sis.
Even though she was bad at it.
Not that he would ever tell her that she was bad at it. He'd just have to disconnect her controller next time. That was smart. Also he'd make himself played one. That way he'd have a better chance at winning. Big sis was beating him even though she was stoned. He could tell. She'd been smoking all day every day for days and days now. It was like she smoked when she got up and before bed and at breakfast and lunch and dinner…and she didn't even share! Not once had she offered to share…it wasn't fair! Not that he was going to get upset…no…he just…he'd hang out with Shimazaki whenever he was done killing traitors and then he'd smoke and then it would be more fair.
He couldn't get mad at big sis. He didn't want to be that kind of person.
"See? Even Mukai knows that you're stoned." Said Sho
"Stoned! You…you are stoned!" laughed Mukai
"But…she doesn't even know what that word means…at least I think she doesn't. I don't know what she knows…she's complicated. You're complicated Mukai but I love you." Said big sis as she kept the led. She wasn't even paying attention to what she was doing, Mukai was pulling on her hair now, but she still won…and it wasn't fair! It wasn't fair that she won and it wasn't fair that…well a lot of things weren't fair about their lives but he was used to it.
He had no other choice but to get used to it.
"I love you too! I love you! I love Sho! I love mama! I love Ryou! I love Mine! I love Seri! I love Shibata! I love Hat…or…i…Hatori! I love caterpillars!" said Mukai
"Everyone loves you too….I love you so much…and I am so glad to be your sister and I'm glad that you're here and I'm even glad that you're pulling my hair. When you pull my hair it reminds me that I'm here and that here is a good place. This is good…it's important that things are good…and soft, too. Soft things are good…like if there was a building made of cat fur…that would be really good. It would be warm and soft and also people without cats can come in and pretend that they're cats…like if they were in cats…Cats the show not if they climbed inside of cats and wore them…that would be bad…but Cats was good." Said big sis
"Rum Tum Tugger!" said Mukai. Sho shook his head. He knew what she meant and there was NO WAY that he was going to listen to that song again! He didn't care if it was Mukai's fifth favorite song. He would much rather have listened to the real cat coughing up hairballs than that song…why did his sisters have to be so weird? It was almost enough to make him wish he had a brother…almost….
Two sisters was enough for him.
"Is a curious cat." Laughed big sis. She waited for a second before she started laughing…like he was waiting for everyone else to start laughing too. Like this was one of those shows with a laugh track or one of those weird ones with the people who reacted to everything. React videos were so boring…but big sis liked those too….
Why did sisters always have to be so weird all the time?
"Cats! Cats! Cats and cats!" said Mukai
"There…there were mice in that show, too? Remember? The Gumby Cat taught the mice how to do stuff because she thought that they were lazy." Said big sis
"Lazy gravy!" laughed baby sis
"Do you want me to make you some? I don't really remember how but I think Shibata knows…but he's not home…but we can text him! That's a good idea…you always have such good ideas, Mukai, and you do too Sho. Like do you remember your idea about putting our toothbrushes up high so Mukai couldn't use them to clean things? That was a good idea…you always have such good ideas little brother….and I love you so much." Said big sis
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love you too…now watch the road!" said Sho. She was still beating him…she wasn't even trying and she was still beating him. He had no idea how she was doing this. Maybe because they'd been playing Mario Kart for as long as they could remember…or maybe it was because she had been spending so much time with Serizawa and Hatori. All those guys ever did was play videogames…well that and hang out with dad like dad was someone worth hanging out with or something…they were all so weird….and they never asked Sho to play with them! Maybe if they asked Sho to play with them then he would have gotten better at this.
Nobody ever invited him to the nerd parties…
Well dad was there. They could have just kicked dad out of the nerd club and invited Sho. He didn't much want to be a member of the nerd club but…but not being a member was…he needed to practice! That was all. Videogames were a skill like in videogame skill trees and he hadn't put enough points into games or…or whatever! That was the only reason she was so much better than him! Also it wasn't his fault that he never got a chance to play. He had stuff to do during the day with his own best friend and that best friend just couldn't see screens so…so Sho was out of practice and…and big sis didn't even have to try but…but that was just because she had practiced more than he had!
He didn't suck at this game…he didn't suck at anything. He was Suzuki Sho.
"I don't really have to. I'm winning." Said big sis
"I'm winning! I'm the winner!" shouted Mukai
"Yeah…yeah, I know. You don't have to brag about it." Said Sho
"I don't think that Mukai was bragging. I don't even think she knows what bragging is. She just likes to share good things that happen in her life. Like…like remember the first time she brushed her teeth by herself and she made us all come to the bathroom so we could watch? And then we all had to tell her that she did a good job even though she got toothpaste all over her face and shirt? And also we weren't supposed to mention that she used my toothbrush?" asked big sis
"All my toothbrush….my toothbrush, not yours." Said Mukai
"I meant you." Said Sho
"Me? I didn't mean to brag…but you're right. I was selfish and I was bragging and…and that was wrong. Here." Said big sis. He expected her to put her controller down and let him make it to the finish line like she used to do when they'd been little. She didn't, though, she just hit the power up button….but she was the one in the lead!
She got hit by the blue shell.
Her cart spun around, Baby Peach cried…she was always a baby character. Peach, Daisy, sometimes even baby Mario. Mukai was baby Mario now. Sho was regular Mario. It was weird that Mario was racing a baby version of himself and also a baby version of his girlfriend…but not as weird as big sis letting herself die. Why did she always have to do that? She was always doing stuff that hurt her just to make him happy…like how she hung out with dad to protect him…like if dad wasn't there to bother him, if he was busy with her, then Sho was safe…
She was always thinking of him…even though she had been born right and he had been born wrong she was still always thinking of him…
"Thanks, I guess." Said Sho as he won. He didn't even have time to enjoy his victory. He second he crossed the finish line, the second big sis came in behind him, the second he reached for Mukai's controller since she had no chance of ending this game on her own his phone rang. There, in his pocket, it was ringing and…and he knew who it was. The only people who called him were either in this room or across the ocean…and both of his sisters were right here so….
Yeah.
He pretended that he couldn't hear it. He took Mukai's controller and guided her character across the track. She was in eighth place, dead last, super dead last and….and he was being a good big brother and helping her finish. This was what good big brothers did and….and he could be good at this. He was Suzuki Sho. He wasn't a complete and total fuck up. He knew how to be a good big brother, a good little brother, a good hamster owner, a good cat owner, a good friend, and….and he may not have been a good boyfriend but…but he could be good at other things…like Mario Kart. He tried his best to tune out the ringing of his phone as he made his way through the world…he even picked up a power up…not that he needed it…and he especially didn't need another blue shell. He ignored it and kept on going…he ignored a lot of things…
Like the tiny hand in his pocket.
"Sho? Sho, pick up the phone! Mama calling!" said Mukai as she tried to get his phone out of his pocket. He closed his pocket with his powers and kept it closed. She still reached in with her little hands…she knew how to answer phones. She didn't know how to read yet but she knew what pictures were. She knew to hit the green phone and then she'd answer and then…and then Sho would have to talk to Emmy…and he had no idea what he even would have said to her…

Yeah….no. Nobody wanted to hear that they'd been lied to and cheated on…well nobody wanted to be lied to and cheated on in the first place….but hearing about it was even worse. When you heard about it then…then you knew what happened. What you didn't know couldn't hurt you, he'd heard that once, and when he'd heard it, back when he'd been little, it hadn't made any sense. Like if someone poisoned you in secret it could still hurt you…and that was what secrets were…they were poison…but he was going to keep his for as long as he could.
He knew that he wasn't doing the right thing….and he'd do it…but later. Right now he had to…he had to watch the highlights from the race!
"Mukai, come here." Said big sis. She pulled Mukai away and handed her back her controller. Sho braced himself. His whole body and aura tensed. He knew what was coming next. Big sis was going to ask him why he wasn't answering his phone, he knew that she could tell who it was without even checking, and then she would going to tell him all over again that what he was doing was wrong and how he was making her sad and stuff by acting just like dad. Sho knew that lying and cheating were wrong…and he knew that when Emmy found out the truth she was going to be really hurt…and that was why he was going to keep it to himself for as long as he could.
He didn't know if he had it him to hurt her like that…he didn't know if he had it in him to hurt anyone like that.
"Nobody's going to hurt you." Said big sis. The next race was starting. Mukai was revving up too much. Her engine was going to explode and she was going to end up starting last again…then she'd end up getting upset and he'd have to put her in the lead. Then his car would end up falling behind and big sis would end up in the lead again…
Yup. His prediction came true.
"I know that." Said Sho as swapped controllers with Mukai. He was going to do his best to get her in the lead. Big sis was still winning. She had won the last one and now she was ruining this one too. He liked it better when she wasn't stoned. When she played him normal she always let him win…well that wasn't much better….but he didn't want to lose either. He wanted…he just wanted….he didn't even know what he wanted!
What he wanted in the game, of course, he knew what he wanted in real life…and he'd be getting what he wanted once his phone went to voicemail.
"I'm winning! I'm the fastest!" shouted Mukai
"You are…you're winning, I mean, and Sho is right, I mean. I mean I know that you know that nobody's going to hurt you…so you don't have to be so tense. I would never let anything bad happen to you." Said big sis
"Yeah, I know that. You'd protect me with your life or whatever…that's not what I'm worried about." Said Sho as he traded controller back with Mukai. She handed him his controller back…it was sticky…and he had no idea with what. She hadn't even had anything sticky to eat all day and…little kids were kind of gross sometimes. They were either wet for no reason or sticky for no reason…or both at the same time…he wished that he had easy problems like that…being gross for no reason at all…
"Then what are you worried about? If you tell me then I can fix it." Said big sis
"You're always trying to fix stuff…can't you stop? This isn't the kind of thing that you can fix and this isn't even your problem. I know that now you're going to say something about me being your little brother and since we're family my problems are your problems-" said Sho
"Yes. That's exactly what I was going to say." Said big sis
"Going to say! Going to say hello, going to say goodbye! You say yes! I say no! Hello, goodbye!" said Mukai
"That…isn't at all what I was going to say…but ok. Hello, goodbye." Said big sis
"I think that she wants to hear that song." Said Sho. Big sis…lost the lead. She drove right off of the world. She took the ramp weird and aimed too low…and now she was being fished back into the world and he was in the lead.
"…how about later? I don't really…um….want to listen to music right now…and not the Beatles. I was talking to you, anyway, and-and yes…if you have a problem then I'm going to do my best to fix it. I'm your big sister after all and that's what we do…we take care of our families." Said big sis
"Well you don't have to help me with this. I'm eleven…I'm almost twelve. It's almost the part of the year when we're the same age." Said Sho
"Oh! I almost forgot your birthday! We only have….today is…we have October and then November and then December…wait…you were born in December….hang on, I can figure this out." Said big sis. She didn't pause the game, she just held the controller up with her powers and started counting on her fingers.
Mukai didn't like this.
"No fingers! Caterpillars…no fingers!" said Mukai as she slapped down big sis's fingers. She got that from dad, he hated it when people used fingers for math. That was why he never helped them with their homeschool even though he loved math more than anything else in the world, even his own kids. Dad slapped hands a lot harder than Mukai could…though both of them didn't give a fuck if they were hurting people….
"Sorry, sorry, you're right. I shouldn't use my fingers." Said big sis
"It's not my birthday for a whole two months so stop freaking out…and anyway I want art supplies. The pencils I like and…you know what? I'll make an Amazon list or whatever…just don't freak out now." Said Sho
"I wasn't going to freak out." Said big sis
"Yes you were, I know you. You always freak out about birthdays. Remember last year when you threw that big party for Shimazaki?" said Sho. She never threw him big parties….well he had never asked for one. He didn't want to hang out with the Awakened and the backers and constituents and important ass kissers. He wanted to hang out with his friends and have pancakes and presents…those were the best kind of birthdays, the ones with pancakes and presents….
He was adding pancakes to the list of things he wanted for his birthday…a whole cake made out of them…and lots of syrup and frosting too so dad couldn't have any…not that dad would even remember his birthday anyway….
"I…I remember…um…but I won't freak out about your birthday and…and we can have a party if you want." Said big sis
"I don't want a big Claw party, just you guys….but also pancakes! But not the burnt ones…they're always burnt. I want nice fluffy ones with plenty of syrup and frosting…and I don't want dad there…but what I really want is….never mind." Said Sho
"No, not never mind. What do you want for your birthday? Art stuff? Hamster food? More hamster tunnels?" asked big sis
"No…well, yeah, but no. What I want is…is…" said Sho
"I want candy!" shouted Mukai. Sho didn't know if she wanted to hear that song or actually eat candy. He took a piece of candy out of his pockets with his powers and tossed it to her. She ate it…which was good. That had been his least melted baby KitKat.
"You want candy for your birthday? I like candy…the blue ones…the hard blue ones…but you don't like hard candy. Do you want Halloween candy? The big bags…no…it'll be stale by the time your birthday comes…but not Halloween…but dad doesn't want me to have another Halloween party….but um….do you want candy?" asked big sis
"No….well…yeah…but no." said Sho. His head hurt a little. This was why it was important not to blow smoke anywhere near Mukai. Sure it was fun to smoke but if you did it too much then it stopped being fun and you got really dumb. Also the world got too loud and every single sound skipped your ears and went right to your brain…and then the sounds shook the bad thoughts loose and then the next thing you knew you were crying into a box of poparts because nothing you did would ever be right and you shouldn't have even been born if you were just going to fuck everything up and the only reason you were even born was because your dad needed a son and your sister, who was perfect, was a girl and you didn't even know why you cared about how your dad felt and-
-and Mukai didn't need those feelings.
"Oh…ok…but then what do you want. Whatever you want you can have. I love you and I only want to make you happy and-" said big sis
"What I want is-! Sorry, sorry, I shouldn't have said it like that. It's just…what I want is for you to mind your own…that's mean too. Just…don't get mad at me for not breaking up with Emmy! And don't be all disappointed in me too! Just…just stay out of it. Ok? You've never had a girlfriend before or a boyfriend or-or-or anything and you don't know how hard it is to tell someone that…that you don't like them and you never liked them and-" said Sho
"I know….I mean I know not to bother you about this. You're right…it is hard." Said big sis. Sho…well he didn't have words. Big sis was still winning…and somehow he'd wound up in last place behind Mukai…but that didn't seem to matter. She…she said that she got it…even though she had never been through this before she got it and…and there was no way that she possibly could have understood! She'd never had a boyfriend before, she'd never been in love before, and she'd never had anyone love her either. She'd never…there were a lot of nevers and…and he didn't need to get mad. Actually he shouldn't have been getting mad. He was….he was holding his controller so tight that the plastic was cracking….he let go.
She said that she wasn't going to tell him what to do about this…she wasn't going to be mad or disappointed…and that should have been enough…
But it wasn't. It didn't feel like enough…he didn't know why. He didn't know what was wrong with him. He wished that someone would have just given him a list of things that were wrong with him and then another list with how he could fix them…but that wasn't how it worked…and anyway he would have just taken the first list. He was mad at his sister…for what? Trying to understand him? Well…well this wasn't something that she could understand since she hadn't lived it and…and that made sense and…and he just…he shouldn't have been mad and…and he needed to get out of here before he said something or did something that he was going to regret…and he had enough regrets already….
He had to get out of here.
The energy around him shifted. He felt it and immediately threw himself off of the world. He didn't care what Shimazaki wanted, even if it was just to crack an egg on his head and teleport away again. Shimazaki didn't have any eggs, though, he didn't have anything….well dirt…and ocean water? The smell of dirt and ocean water came before he did…like a second before…but that was long enough for Sho to notice…and maybe turn a little red.

He wasn't super red, not even now, even though Shimazaki was just wearing his shirt and pants and not his coat….he had really nice arms…and his shirt was wet. He was wet and dirty and his shirt was stuck to him and….and Sho had a boyfriend. He had Ritsu and he'd never seen Ritsu all wet and dirty like this but…damn it! Now he was thinking about Ritsu and….and Shimazaki….and the two of them together…and…and….
He bit his tongue before he could say anything.
"Dirty! You take a bath! Over there!" said Mukai. She even pointed to the bathroom….Shimazaki taking a shower in his house…or a bath…like a long bath…like a bath long enough where he got lonely and asked Sho to hang out with him…and wash his back…from inside the tub….
Stupid brain! Stupid heart! Stupid dick!
"Mukai…that's not nice. She doesn't mean to be mean….Ryou….she really doesn't." said big sis. She sounded weird, there, like she was trying to whisper or something…which made no sense. She was red, too, which made even less sense.
"I know she doesn't mean anything by it, she just doesn't have a filter. Who doesn't have a filter? You do, you do?" laughed Shimazaki as he got down on the ground and poked Mukai in the stomach. She laughed and kicked him. Sho…he was glad that she was distracting him. He took a deep breath. He…he was fine…..he was very fine….everything was the most fine that it had ever been!
"No filter! No filter for Mukai!" laughed Mukai
"You…you're right. She just kind of…of says things…the things that pop into her head…and stuff…." Said big sis. She paused the game and then reached over and picked up her pen with her powers. She pressed it to her mouth but Shimazaki leaned in close…way too close…and took it from her. He didn't take it out of her hands, no, he just tilted it over to his mouth….and then he breathed in. Big sis leaned away from him…that was good….he didn't know why it was good but it was. Sho wasn't in love with Shimazaki, he was in love with Ritsu, and anyway Shimazaki wasn't in love with big sis either…even if he had been really close to big sis….
Shimazaki got close to people, way too close, that was just what he did. He got close to people. That was all.
"Someone's been in my desk." Said Shimazaki as he exhaled. He didn't even turn away from Mukai….Sho pulled her away with his powers. That smoke made you dumb, he knew he smoked it sometimes, and he didn't need baby sis to be as dumb as he got when he smoked. Baby sis didn't mind, no, Mukai laughed. She thought that it was a game…she was only two, she thought that everything was a game…she was really lucky like that.
"You….you said that I could." Said big sis
"I know. What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. I mean we are in a-" said Shimazaki
"Do you want to play with us? Wait…sorry…I forgot that you couldn't play videogames." Said big sis
"Oh I can play them, I can hit the buttons and shit, I have no idea what's happening but I can hit the buttons and shit." Said Shimazaki. He laughed and scooted closer to big sis…even though she'd just reminded him of something that he couldn't do. Sho knew that if he'd been reminded of something that he couldn't do he would have felt like kicking holes in the walls…but Shimazaki wasn't like that. Shimazaki was…Ryou was….one of the absolute best people Sho knew…and stuff….
"We can do other stuff! Like…like we can play something else….I mean." Said Sho. He was red now…he wasn't imaging Shimazaki naked or anything anymore…but he was red. He had no reason to be. He had no reason to be…to be anything. He had a boyfriend and a girlfriend….and that was enough cheating.
"Play with me! Play with me!" said Mukai. She was bouncing up and down and tugging on Sho's hair. He didn't mind. Mukai was just a baby and being a baby…a little kid…meant that she didn't know when she hurt him…like now. She had sharp baby nails that dug into his head…and she was strong too….really strong….
"That's actually why I came here and so rudely interrupted your daily twelve hours of videogame time." Said Shimazaki
"It hasn't been twelve hours yet." Said Sho
"It's been two….that's a different number…" said big sis
"Yes it is and you know what else is a number? Four. That's how many bird eggs are hatching right now…so who wants to come watch? Sho? Mukai? Mob?" asked Shimazaki. Sho didn't need to be told twice. Baby birds were being born! They were being born and…and maybe if he was the first thing that they saw then he could be their mother and then the mother bird would like him too and then he could bring them all home and they could live in Fukuda's house with the hamsters and cat.
Yes. This was a good idea.
"Fuck yeah! Come on, what are we waiting for?!" said Sho. He got up and pulled on Shimazaki's shirt…but he wasn't moving. He was still sitting by big sis. She was looking away from him…and he was staring at her with his aura…and also he was facing her…and that was just…
It made Sho want to kick some holes in the walls…but he wasn't going to. Mukai didn't need to learn that from him.
"Fuck yeah! Fuck! Yeah!" shouted Mukai
"You guys go ahead…and don't curse anymore. Mukai's starting to curse and Tsuchiya doesn't like that." Said big sis. Sho didn't care if she came with. She didn't need to come with. She didn't like animals that much…and she wasn't that good of friends with Shimazaki anyway. Sure she called him Ryou but so did Mukai and she was two…and also Sho could have called him Ryou too…it just made his heart pound whenever he tried to say it…and if his heart pounded too much then he'd die.
And the only person who wanted that was dad. Sho wasn't going to give dad that kind of satisfaction.
"Well you can come with and, you know, make sure that Mukai doesn't curse...though bear in mind that we'll be witnessing the miracle of life so…yeah. You want to come with and witness the miracle of life? Before your dad decides to monopolize your time some more?" asked Shimazaki
"No I….I have to…to feed Serizawa! Shibata is busy today and…and Minegishi only cooks for themselves and…um…Sho and Mukai are going to get hungry and…and also I have laundry to do today, lots of laundry and…um….I can do yours too but…but I can't leave…sorry." said big sis. Sho pulled on Shimazaki again. Mukai was pulling on him. Nobody was pulling on big sis…even though it would have made more sense for Shimazaki to be pulling on her instead of….
That was weird.

He had Ritsu and he wasn't going to cheat on the person he was cheating on his girlfriend with!
"Can't he feed himself?" asked Shimazaki
"Um…no?" said big sis
"Well can't the laundry wait?" asked Shimazaki
"No. if I let it pile up then the pile is going to end up above my head or…or something." Said big sis. Shimazaki frowned.
"Well…alright then. I'll see you around then….I guess." Said Shimazaki. He got up…which was good…even though it didn't feel that way….that whole thing felt weird. Bad weird. Shimazaki didn't…he didn't like big sis…and Sho was crazy for even thinking that. No, Shimazaki was…he was just weird and big sis…well she had a lot to do. She had to take care of him and Mukai and dad and also Serizawa. He couldn't do anything for himself…even make lunch. Big sis was being normal…Shimazaki wasn't being normal…well being weird was his normal so that meant that he was being normal and…and now he and Sho and Mukai were going to watch baby birds being born! And then he was going to bring them home and love them and…and he was going to have a good day…because of birds and friends and stuff.
Yeah, this was normal and…and he was happy. He was getting baby birds after all…and baby birds were a hell of a lot better than videogames and…and stupid power ups…and blue turtles shells….and stuff like that!
