[Ram] "It seems this new lifestyle has finally made its way to Barusu's head...hmm, if it means that we can complete Roswaal-sama's objective easier then it is fine by Ram."

[Subaru] "I'm pretty sure you were the one always telling me to accept this, it's not like I have or anything but you're right, if I just go along with it then things would be easier…."

Subaru silently looked down at his now empty plate. He didn't hate the idea that his life had become one full of woman and sex but it was still degrading in a way.

[Ram] "Ha, either way, Barusu has come into his role, now regarding Anastasia-sama, She sent a message while Ram was out picking up Elsa-sama's outfit."

[Subaru] "Yeah I remember you saying something about that."

Putting his hand on his chin, the youth thought to himself what message the merchant queen could send...as he pondered this his eyes drifted to the three women sitting with him, Emilia with her beautiful hair and gentle aura, Ram with her sass and undeniably cute face...then there was the woman with black hair who sat across from him.

Elsa...His feelings for her were conflicting, to say the least. His mind had slowly been forgiving her but he continues to deny it. The horrific things she had done to him were too awful to forgive and yet he was doing it…

That aside her already alluring and erotic aura was enticing to say the least. She really was dangerously beautiful and the look she had been giving him for the past minute was thought-provoking…

'What am I thinking?'

[Ram] "Yes, the message was that you must meet her today."

[Emilia] "What!? Today? We still need time to talk about it!"

Emilia immediately clung onto Subaru's arm as if someone was about to take him away. He didn't dislike it but since her emotions seemed to be high she used a lot more strength than necessary.

[Subaru] "Owowo, it's cute that you're worried but if you keep squeezing my arm like that then it's going to fall off!"

With a concerned "are you okay?!" Emilia let go of the black-haired boy and switched to her more caring side, he found it too cute when she did it and especially this often.

He would have enjoyed her cuteness even more if he didn't feel something slowly rub up against his leg. It was a strange and almost pleasurable feeling, he would have assumed it was Ram since she is usually the one who does these sudden erotic things but when he looked over at her she simply stared at him and waited to continue speaking.

Once again he felt the erotically soothing sensation slowly make its way up from his leg. It was delicate enough to make his body shudder but realizing who was responsible for it, he forced himself to ignore the stimulation.

Locking eyes with Elsa, his whole body stiffened up slightly, the thought-provoking gaze she had been giving him for the last minute became even more intense. It was a look he recognized a little too well and only brought back bad memories…

Quickly Subaru moved his leg away from her foot and shot her a glare that said "knock it off" which she responded to with a wink.

[Emilia] "Is this reaaaally reaaaally necessary? I understand that you want to complete Roswaal's orders but this is extreme!"

[Ram] "It's not only about Roswaal-sama, This is for the Emilia camp. Besides in order to get the item my master ordered we need to meet with Anastasia-sama."

[Subaru] "Trust me I don't really want to do this either, but the pattern at this point is too hard to ignore, if all I have to do is...meet...with her then it's something I can do. Like I said I will try and talk my way out of it- WILL YOU QUIT THAT!"

In the middle of his talk, the youth turned his head to shout at the black-haired woman who's cheeks grew a light shade of red at the sudden change of events.. Unknown to Ram and Emilia, Elsa continued to mess with Subaru's leg under the table until he finally got fed up with it.

[Elsa] "Fufu~ You only make me want to do it more. You finally called me beautiful and that made me heat up quite a bit."

[Subaru] "Tch, it would be hard to say you aren't, but beauty goes to waste when your nature is nasty."

[Elsa] "Ara, you said it again."

As she said that he could see her body shiver slightly along with her cheeks becoming even redder than before.

[Subaru] "Ugh, you're annoying you know that?"

[Elsa] "It's one of the first times I've been told that I believe, usually harsher words are used to describe me but, since it comes from my beloved it's even more special."

Rolling his eyes at her response, the youth stood up to avoid any more unwarranted touches from the lady.

[Subaru] "Like I was saying, I'll try to talk my way out of it."

[Ram] "Waste of time. Anastasia-sama was able to come in confidently and demand for Barusu, simply talking won't be enough to silence her. Pillow talk, on the other hand, might be enough."

[Subaru] "I'm a little concerned why you know a phrase like that but...ugh if I think too much about then I'll probably revert back to being scared…"

[Elsa] "If this girl is that much of a problem, I wouldn't mind taking care of her."

Instantly everyone in that room turned their heads towards the disturbing words of the black-haired lady. Emilia's eyes widened at the sudden proposal of the woman, her hand shielding her mouth. Ram remained with her same deadpan face but inside she was truly wondering who this woman was. As for Subaru, it was a brief but necessary reminder of who she truly was.

[Subaru] "What the hell's wrong with you?!"

[Elsa] "Fufu~ it was just a suggestion but I see it was met with disapproval."

[Subaru] "Disapproval is an understatement. Never say anything like that again, Alright?!"

[Elsa] "Fufu~ Hai."

Under his berating, Elsa let out another shudder while holding her arms as if to calm herself down. Seeing this only irritated Subaru further. On top of her devotion to gut people, she also possessed this weird fetish of being screamed at. She never stops annoying him...

[Ram] "Yes as Barusu said, killing Anastasia-sama would only lead to more problems."

[Subaru] "It's wrong for more reasons than that you know!"

[Emilia] "Yeah that's really bad!...but then you wouldn't have to go over there…."

[Subaru] "Oi! Don't let what she said influence you!"

[Emilia] "Eh! N-nonono, I wasn't saying anything!... Stop staring at me!"

Waving her hands frantically in front of her now ashamed and embarrassed face, Emilia put her head down on the table in an effort to get away from the disappointed look of Subaru.

[Ram] "Hmph, before Barusu snaps and throws a fit, Ram was told to give you this note."

Sparing Emilia from his stare, the youth turned to Ram and looked at the small envelope in her hand.

[Subaru] "A note?"

[Ram] "Yes, Ram was told to give it to Barusu when I told you to meet with Anastasia-sama today."

In Ram's hand was a seemingly plain envelope, it was underwhelming for being a letter from a noble. Grabbing it, Subaru quickly pulled out a slip of paper that read "Meet in the market."

[Subaru] "What does this even mean?"

Ram shrugged her shoulders

[Ram] "I suppose it means to meet in the market."

The youth could only look at her with slight frustration. Once again he read over the note but it only said those few and vague words.

[Subaru] "The market is a big place, this doesn't tell me much."

[Ram] "Hmm….Anastasia-sama knew about Barusu's adventures, it wasn't the most secret but yet she knew."

[Subaru] "That's true, I have to ask her about that...This could just be her way of covering her tracks."

As Subaru said, the main reason he was even going over to see Anastasia was so that she would keep her mouth shut about the affairs. It still plagued him that in giving up that advantage over them, Anastasia was now also becoming part of the problem.

[Elsa] "This seems like a rather dangerous way of doing things."

[Subaru] "Dangerous? It's a little suspicious but not dangerous, if anything you are dangerous."

[Emilia] "Um, something has been bothering me for a while now. If Subaru and Elsa-san are lovers then why does he constantly get mad at her?"

Immediately the youth turned his head towards Emilia, he had concern in his eyes at the fact that Elsa's cover was being questioned...there was no telling what she would do-

[Elsa] "Ara, there is no need to be concerned, it is simply the dynamic we share, my beloved loves me deep in his heart after all, right?"

[Subaru] "Y-yeah...no need to be worried."

He struggled to get those words out which may have hurt his case more than help it. Yet Emilia's face seemed to accept his answer.

[Emilia] "I see, well if Subaru says it then I guess it's true. but Subaru if you reaaaally love Elsa-san you should be nicer."

[Subaru] "Heh, I'll consider it."

The black-haired boy who was on the edge of sweating rubbed the back of his head at the close call.

[Ram] "Hmph, the effects of Gluttony are frustrating to say the least. Enough of that, Barusu should head over to the market at once."

[Emilia] "You still don't have to do this, as long as I'm with you then I'll be fine."

Once again Emilia grabbed onto his arm and stared at him with pleading eyes. She wasn't against the idea of Subaru having a lot of women after him, instead, she just wanted to keep the already large number of them down to a minimum.

She tried her best to control her strength hoping not to hurt him but it wasn't as successful as she had hoped. Closing her eyes in an attempt to drown out any of the youth's painful screams, she was instead met with something soft on top of her head, it was soothing to an extent as she could feel it gently rub her.

Looking up she could see that it was his hand, his face wasn't contorted in pain instead he wore a reassuring smile that put her heart at ease.

[Subaru] "It's alright Emilia-tan."

[Emilia] "...H-hai...Please be safe…"

Reluctantly Emilia let go of the black-haired boy with a pout. Even though he put her at ease, it didn't make her any more accepting of the idea.

[Subaru] "Well then, I guess I'm off. To be honest I'm extremely nervous-"

[Ram] "Yes yes, Anymore talk will start to get irritating, leave before Barusu changes his mind."

[Subaru] "You could at least pretend to care about my feelings!"

With those words said, Subaru was quickly ushered out of the dining room and forced out the front door. It happened so fast that by the time he realized he was outside Ram already shut the door behind him.

[Subaru] "Son of a…"

With the Mansion behind him and the world in front of him, the youth resolved himself for what was about to happen…

[Emilia] "Was it necessary to throw him out like that?"

[Ram] "Ram did not throw him out, besides Barusu had been stalling, any longer and we would be here till sundown."

[Emilia] "But it's still early?"

[Ram] "That is beside the point. Barusu is to be used as he is intended, to seduce the candidates."

[Emilia] "That's not what he is intended for!"

Back inside the mansion, Ram returned back to the dining room to see Elsa and Emilia still in their seats.

[Elsa] "Ara, I am not well informed on this Anastasia person but such a request is a bit crude for a royal selection candidate."

[Ram] "It seems everyone and their mothers want Barusu, it was a matter of time before Anastasia-sama fell for him as well."

[Elsa] "I see, either way, I would be a bad lover if I let my beloved go on such a suspicious journey alone."

Slowly, Elsa got out of her seat with her usual dead smile. She did think it was slightly suspicious but at the same time she had nothing better to do here, there was an oni maid who she didn't dislike and a half-elf that she had been contracted to kill…

[Ram] "I'm sorry but if you intend to stop Barusu then Ram cannot let you go."

[Elsa] "Ara? As much as I would love to see your….Fufu~ I do not intend to stop him, I just want to be there for my beloved."

Emilia, who was watching their interaction, felt a small pain in her heart. From her perspective Elsa has done nothing but good things for Subaru, it was a mixture of jealousy and disappointment, why couldn't she do more?…

[Ram] "If that is the case then Ram supposes it wouldn't hurt. Just make Sure Barusu doesn't die."

[Elsa] "Fufu~ I will do my best."

The hustle and bustle of the everyday market was apparent to Subaru who wandered around aimlessly. He read over the note many times in an attempt to find some sort of secret message but nothing seemed to reveal itself.

[Subaru] "Come to the market my ass, Where the hell am I supposed to even go."

The youth walked past the many stalls of the market and even checked out the bars but to no avail. Wherever he was supposed to go, he just couldn't figure out until…

[?] "Hey Natsuki-kun."

With a small tap on his shoulders, Subaru turned to see the merchant queen herself standing right behind him. She had her usual attire of the long white dress along with its many accessories.

[Subaru] "Anastasia? I've been looking everywhere for someplace to go."

[Anastasia] "The note did say to just go to the market right?"

[Subaru] "The market is really big, being ambiguous like that only leads to a misunderstanding."

[Anastasia] "Hmm that is true, oh well, couldn't have you with evidence about this."

[Subaru] "But isn't meeting out in the public enough evidence?"

The two were standing in the middle of the crowd. Nobody was paying them any attention but he had a point.

[Anastasia] "Maybe, but if it's in public then lots of people can see us and testify that nothing happened, I think about these things Natsuki-kun, unlike you who doesn't even try to hide your adventure-."

Quickly Subaru put his hand over her mouth while dragging her by the hand to the side. He looked around to see if anyone saw but that only made him more suspicious...As he was looking he could feel something wet on his hand, it was soft and warm which kinda freaked him out.

[Subaru] "Did you just lick my hand?!"

[Anastasia] "Well what else did ya expect? You put your hand on my mouth."

[Subaru] "You were talking about things we shouldn't talk about in the open, plus I expected either a bite or a slap!"

Instantly he wiped the small bit of saliva off on his pants while Anastasia only looked at him with a pouty face. She was sure that being in public would actually be in her favor but now it seems that it is actually against her.

[Anastasia] "Do ya always grab girls out of nowhere?"

[Subaru] "I don't grab girls out of nowhere alright! Don't make it sound worse than it already is. Plus do I have to remind you why we're even here-"

Before he could even finish speaking, a delicate finger was placed in his lips.

[Anastasia] "You did it to me, it's only fair if I did it back-"

Subaru saw an opportunity to get back at the petite girl and took her finger into his mouth. He thought he was being clever but when he saw her cheeks begin to turn red he instantly let go and backed away slightly.

[Anastasia] "Oh my, you really work fast don't ya?"

[Subaru] "H-hold on, I didn't mean it like that!"

[Anastasia] "Hehe, I guess we should go to the spot if this is going to continue."

[Subaru] "The spot?! And wait wait, we don't have to continue, we can just talk like normal people, friends even!"

Anastasia once again put on her pouting face as Subaru tried to talk his way out of it. She was surprised he even showed up, her goal was simply to see why everyone wanted to sleep with him.

[Anastasia] "Did you really come down here just to talk? That's a waste of time, it's easier if we just do this."

[Subaru] "Eh? A lady shouldn't be so-"

[Anastasia] "I ain't gonna listen to you talking about lady this or lady that, it's either we do this or don't?"

Her stern attitude surprised the youth, it was true that she was straightforward but it was off-putting to say the least.

[Subaru] "..."

[Anastasia] "Ugh, just c'mon."

Without giving him much time to think, the petite girl grabbed him by the hand and began nearly dragging him somewhere. Her strength wasn't remarkable by any means and he could probably pull away at any time but he would feel bad if he did.

[Subaru] "Where are you taking me!?"

[Anastasia] "Somewhere, Here put this on your head."

It was a sudden stop but before he could even process anything, Anastasia had put something over his head. Upon further inspection, it looked like a hood of some sort.

[Subaru] "Still worried about people seeing us even though you are going this far?

[Anastasia] "Oh please, you think I wouldn't take measures?"

[Subaru] "Huh?"

Taking a good look at the people around them, Subaru noticed that nearly half of them had the exact same hood he was wearing, this was way more thought out than he had originally expected. Taking a sharp turn into the crowd, Anastasia could only giggle at the youth's astonishment as the hooded people moved in to mask their trail.

[Anastasia] "Just follow me!"

Listening to her words, The black-haired boy returned her grip and held on as she led him through the market. He was still amazed if not slightly scared of the fact that she is going through this much just to hide the fact that they are even interacting.

[Subaru] "Won't this all just be worthless in the end?"

[Anastasia] "Does that me you're agreeing to-"

[Subaru] "I never said that…."

[Anastasia] "You ain't disagreeing, just letting ya know that I'm not interested in all the love stuff, While it is interesting I like to be more calculated in who I love."

Subaru only stayed silent and continued to follow the purple-haired girl to wherever she was dragging him. He would be lying if he said the situation wasn't at least interesting...but that thought came short when he realized that he was really about sleep with Anastasia. Not only that but he convinced himself that this was the best course of action…

'What the hell is going on with me?'

First forgiving Elsa and now not even hesitating to go along with this idea...there were definitely other ways of dealing with this situation but he refused to take the time to think of them. Something was changing within him and he didn't like it, to become what Ram says, "A lustful fiend" was something he didn't want.

'Why am I being so easy?...'

The petite girl who had been holding his hand could feel his inner turmoil, had she been anyone else then she would try to coddle him and solve his problem but, She is greedy and didn't want to waste her time with a bunch of feelings nonsense.

[Anastasia] "We're here."

[Subaru] "An Inn?"

There the two stood right outside of what looked like your average motel, it looks cozy from the outside at least. Subaru still had his hood on and the seemingly endless amount of others that looked the same also kept theirs on.

[Anastasia] "Hmm well yes it is, but I may have rented it all for today."

[Subaru] "Rented the whole thing?! You must have been really excited."

He could feel her small and fragile hand squeeze onto his tighter, almost as if to tell him not to tease her. Looking down towards her face he could see that her cheeks were slightly redder and her cute pout from earlier was still there.

[Anastasia] "Hmph, I may be greedy but I like to get things done right."

[Subaru] "You were really prepared for this, I'm starting to have some serious second thoughts-"

Before he could finish, he was suddenly yanked through the doors. For someone with the aura of a small animal, she was surprisingly forceful…

The interior was slightly more modern than the one he went to with Rem yet it looked incredibly similar.

[Subaru] "Renting out a whole hotel can't be cheap, for someone so greedy it doesn't seem like you."

[Anastasia] "That's a big assumption from you, if it's to be smart I don't mind spending a bit of money."

[Subaru] "But if I said no right now then this would have all been a waste?"

[Anastasia] "Oh please, if ya wanted to say no you would have done it at the beginning."

With those words, Anastasia began walking forward while swaying her hips in an attempt to get Subaru in the mood. Unbeknownst to her, the black-haired boy was too focused on what has become of him, in the past, he solved all his problems with perseverance and suffering but now? He seemed to lust his problems away.

'I'm already here….but is this really the answer? This has been the answer for the past two weeks, yet every time I get to it I complain and struggle...it always ends the same way…'

Regret, self-awareness, doubt? Subaru felt a mixture of all these things. Even now there was no difference, he came all this way to sleep with this girl all for all those he already slept with...it was surreal, living a life like this wasn't something he was against but he learned that having a harem isn't as easy as he could have hoped…

[?] "Oi, you okay?"

Zoning back in, the youth was met with the purple-haired girl's face extremely close to his. Quickly he backed up while turning slightly red, even after all his experiences, a girl putting their face that close to his was stimulating.

[Subaru] "y-yeah, just zoned out."

[Anastasia] "Hmm, you're really strange you know that? As much as I tried to learn about you I just couldn't find anything."

[Subaru] "Learn about me?"

Anastasia, now proud that she has his attention, began walking while swaying her hips once again. This time he noticed and it slightly caught his attention but compared to nearly all the women he has been with, it wasn't spectacular by any means.

Despite that, he would be lying if he didn't say that her hips weren't the most alluring part of her body. Nearly everything else about her aside from her attitude was something he considered cute, her petite frame was lackluster compared to all the beauties around.

[Anastasia] "Oi, Eyes up here."

Despite him downplaying her looks, Subaru was caught looking at her temptations which filled her with a sense of pride. 'This wouldn't be so hard after all' she thought, even if he didn't like her body, she would have still gone through with it until she was satisfied.

[Subaru] "S-sorry!...Don't give me that look!"

[Anastasia] "Even with so many other women, ya still have the eyes of a dog. I guess in our circumstance it's not inappropriate but it's still embarrassing."

[Subaru] "You're embarrassed!?"

The merchant only rolled her eyes at his comment. She was embarrassed, this was the first time she was doing something like this, the only way she could make her way through this was…

[Anastasia] "Ugh, No more talking until we get to the room!"

Throwing up an even larger pout, Anastasia once again led the way. As he followed her, Subaru could feel himself grow more anxious with each step, no matter how many women he may sleep with, it was still a nerve-wracking experience each time.

Everything was quiet which gave their setting its own sense of eeriness, only their footsteps could be heard but if you were to listen hard enough, you could probably hear their heartbeats. The tension in the air was strong, it wasn't sexual but rather awkward; they were two people who hardly knew each other, and yet they met up to have sex…

[Subaru] "It's more awkward if we are silent…"

[Anastasia] "I said no talking, I ain't interested in stretching this out too much...let's just do this…"

Her once strong tone from earlier was still present but it lacked a sense of authority, almost as if she was only acting tough.

[Subaru] "I'm going to complain about this still, I made a promise that I would complain till the end...Even with the experience I have, I get nervous every time these situations come up and I can tell that you're just as nervous."

[Anastasia] "You're not very good at listening are ya? Ugh, if talking will get you in the mood then I suppose we could."

After walking down the hall for what felt like an eternity, Anastasia suddenly stopped and opened a door to their side. Taking a quick look inside, he saw a quite luxurious-looking room, the bed was large, and near it stood a cart with an assortment of drinks on it. Another thing to note about this room is that there were no windows but that was to be expected.

[Subaru] "You really went all out…"

He looked to her to see her response but as he did she immediately turned the other way. He was able to see a small bit of her red cheeks and cute pouty expression but that was it. Suddenly she grabbed him by the hand and pulled him into the room while locking the door behind them.

Getting a better look around he could tell just how nice this room was, renting a whole hotel for this was extreme but he shrugged it off at this point. As he walked deeper into the room the sound of clothing being messed with entered his ears, turning to look back towards the source, Subaru could see something soft and white fly towards his face.

His senses were high due to the built-up tension so he easily caught it and it seemed like the fox-like scarf she wore? But before he could confirm it, Anastasia suddenly appeared in his face while pushing him backward. His feet could barely keep up before his legs hit the bed and he fell back onto the sheets.

It all happened so fast that he was barely able to register what was even happening, now all he saw was the purple-haired girl's flushed face towered over him. Her legs were straddled across his waist and her arms were near his head on each side; Subaru figured it would come to this but the escalation was fast which caught him off guard.

Her eyes shined with both determination yet there was an extreme amount of doubt as well. Her lips quivered slightly in both anticipation and nervousness, even her hands which he couldn't see, clenched onto the sheets tightly.

Subaru himself was mentally preparing himself for what would happen, quickening breath, tension throughout the body, they both felt this as Anastasia began to lower her face towards his until…

[Anastasia] "Agh, I can't do it after all!"

The small space that was between them became great as the merchant rolled off the youth while fanning her face with her hands.

[Subaru] "What was that?!"

[Anastasia] "I thought if I just did it fast I could just deal with it, like ripping off a bandage."

[Subaru] "What?"

The girl then reached into her purse to bring out what looked like a hand fan, she was feeling a lot more heat than he imagined.

[Subaru] "It's cute that you got this way but that doesn't explain much."

[Anastasia] "It's kinda rude to ask a lady to explain herself you know. This is my first time with these kinds of things but as much as I want to get it over with, I also want to enjoy it a bit…"

[Subaru] "Oi, you say you want to get this over with but you were the one who dragged me here."

[Anastasia] "The more time I spend with you here, the more money I lose. I knew I probably wouldn't be able to do this sober, so that's why I brought these!"

With her flaming face calming down slightly, Anastasia reached for a bottle of liquor that was on the cart near the bed along with a glass. Her face gained a cute smile as she examined the bottle along with her body seeming less tense, it looked like she enjoyed it a little too much.

[Subaru] "Am I that ugly that you need to drown it out with alcohol?"

[Anastasia] "Hmm, Not really, but in order to loosen up I need this, besides I thoroughly enjoy it! Would you like some?"

Pouring herself a bit of liquor, Anastasia took a small sip before offering the rest to the youth.

[Subaru] "No thanks, I'm not too good with alcohol, besides every time i've had it I ended up sleeping with someone...Ignore that part!"

[Anastasia] "It's hard to ignore that, if it would make things easier then please have some."

Practically shoving the glass in his face, the girl's eyes seemed desperate that he would take it. Unfortunate for her Subaru had made a silent vow to stay away from such things.

[Subaru] "I'm good! You shouldn't force people to drink, that's how you get a lawsuit or restraining order. I actually have some questions for you."

With Subaru gently pushing the glass away, Anastasia rolled her eyes and let out a sigh of disappointment. Elegantly, she took sips of her drink looking a lot calmer than a second ago.

[Anastasia] "I can answer some questions as long as I can continue drinking."

[Subaru] "Why are you even drinking?"

[Anastasia] "As I said, This is difficult on its own, this is for me to loosen up. It's embarrassing to do these things while sober, considering we hardly know each other, it becomes even more embarrassing. Finally, if you take into account that this is my first time with anyone then you will see how nervous I can be, therefore alcohol is needed to calm me down."

The more she spoke the faster her words came out until she stopped herself by taking a big gulp of liquor.

[Anastasia] "Besides, I do really like alcohol."

Subaru couldn't help but smile at her cute reaction, it was a big switch from her slightly annoying and confident attitude. He remained quiet as he let her drink, she had an air of elegance around her even if what they were going to do was anything but that.

[Subaru] "Are you sure you want to do this? If you need to get drunk in order to go through with it then you probably shouldn't."

[Anastasia] "You're silly Natsuki-kun, It would be a waste to go through all this without seeing it through."
