Doody's POV

Frenchy called me to meet her up at Frosty, so I drove to Frosty and got out to see Frenchy sitting at a booth, looking like she was crying. So I ran inside and to the booth. "Sweetie, you ok?" I asked as she stood up.

"No." She admits. "Doody, there's something I need to tell you."

"Y-you're…n-not gonna break up with me again are you?" I asked, worrying.

"No, no my sweet Doody." She said kissing my cheek. "It's…work."

We sat across from each other as I held her hands.

"Ok, tell me what's wrong?" I asked. "Do I need to get the T-Birds and we can beat whoever is getting you a hard time?"

She laughs.

"No, it's not that." She replied. "It's…I dropped out of beauty school…because I keep messing up and I just…don't know where my life is going. I'm a failure.

I stood up, to sit next to her while putting my arm around her.

"You are not a failure." I told her. "Nobody and neither should you call you that."

She sniffs.

"Look…having a job is hard. I get it." I started. "When I was 11, I worked at my Uncle's workshop and I kept messing up the size of a stupid wood."

She kissed my cheek.

"You were only 11." She said.

I chuckled at her.

"Yeah and of course my mother, my sweet dear mother was worried about me losing a finger or an arm." I added.

She chuckles as I kissed her head.

"Frenchy, you do whatever what your heart wants." I told her. "And I'll be there for you." I held her hand.

"Yeah but that doesn't make a great wife in the future if I can't even hold one job." She said.

"You'll be a great wife cause I love you." I tell her. "Not because of your money. The Del Fuegos men don't treat their females like trash."

She smiled.

"Doody, you are the sweetest boyfriend ever." She said hugging me.

I hugged her back as we kissed.

"Doody, do you think I should go back to Rydell?" She asks.

I gave her a warm smile.

"I think you should." I said holding her hand.

She cupped my cheek and kissed my other cheek.

"I love you, my sweet Doody." She said.

"I love you too, sweetie." I replied as I kissed her forehead. "C'mon."

I stood up, holding my hand out for her.

"Let's go walk on the beach." I said winking at her.

She giggles.

"Ok, let's go." She said grabbing my hand as she stood up.

"You're doing the right thing. Don't you ever forget that." I said.

"Thanks." She smiled.

I smiled back as we walked out of Frosty and out to my car.
