Race Against Time Part 2
Hang on, Lisa, Rafael thought. help is on the way!
It was a long ride for Rafael back to his clan's camp.
Vito Junior was in the trailer of his father, Vito Senior, helping him out with money matters for their circus.
When Rafael ran in, all out of breath.
"Rafael, my son," Vito Junior asked. "why are you pushing the panic button?"
"It is Lisa, Father." Rafael answered Vito Junior seriously.
Vito Senior looked up from his work.
"Lisa? What is wrong with your girlfriend, my grandson?" Vito Senior asked Rafael.
"Romina poisoned Lisa with Black Ice, Grandfather," Rafael answered all in one breath. "and we need to get more Wanderer's Heart petals to make the healing tea that will save Lisa's life!"
"Calm down, Son," Vito Junior said gently to Rafael. "take a few deep breaths."
Rafael did as instructed by his father.
"That feels so much better, thanks, Father." Rafael said.
"You're welcome." Vito Junior said to Rafael.
"We don't have very much time, the life of Elizabeth Jane Atwood hangs in the balance," Vito Senior said to both Vito Junior and Rafael in a hurried manner. "we have to get past the Sundance clan to get to the meadow!"
"We must make a plan." Rafael agreed.
Back at the secret headquarters, Carole and Stevie had gone home, leaving Elle and KC to tend to Lisa.
"Hmmm... set... me... free... Rafa... Darling... hmmm..." Lisa said in her sleep.
"What should we do, Elle," KC exclaimed. "Lisa has been like this for hours!"
"We have to get Lisa back to her bedroom, will you help me carry her?" Elle asked KC.
