Friday Night SmackDown was live at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. JR and Tazz announced that tonight's main event would be Undertaker versus Vladimir Kozlov in a rematch from a few weeks ago where Kozlov beat the Undertaker. Also on the card, Matt Hardy was going to explain why he'd spent the last few months crushing his brother's dreams. But that was later, it was time to focus on the now. The bell rang to get everyone's attention and then…
OOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf hit to cheers from the fans as the lights dimmed to the sinister blood red and out came the Bladewolf with Trish Stratus at his side, the former with the Edge's World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. The married couple stand on the stage before they start heading down the ramp, Trish with one of her arms through Bladewolf's arms. "The following contest is scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first, accompanied to the ring by Trish Stratus, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs...THE BLADEWOLF!"
As they reach the end of the ramp, Trish pulls her arm back, lifts Bladewolf's mask up a little to kiss his lips before she pulled back and he fixed his mask before taking his coat off, tossing the coat aside before he enters the ring and takes off the World Heavyweight Championship, raising it over his head to show it off before he gives it to Trish who places it on her shoulder, smiling at how damn good she looked with the belt on her shoulder.
Kofi Kingston's theme hits and the fans cheered even louder when RAW's Kofi Kingston ran out from the back and onto stage, Kingston posed and then did his 'Boom! Boom! Boom!' taunt, prompting yellow and green pyro to shoot up with every 'boom'. "And his opponent, from Jamaica, weighing two hundred eighteen pounds... KOFI KINGSTON!" Kofi danced on the stage for a moment, then jogged down the ramp, up the steps, and stepped through the ropes to get into the ring. Kingston was still wearing his black and yellow warm-up suit as he ran to the corner and climbed up onto the middle rope. Bladewolf watched on as Kingston once again did his 'Boom! Boom! Boom!' taunt, then jumped down and took off his warm-up jacket and pulled off the pants leaving him in his black and yellow wrestling trunks.
Bladewolf kept his eyes on Kingston as his theme died down. The referee then called for the bell to begin the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf and Kingston circled each other before they locked up but Bladewolf used his size, strength, and power to shove Kingston back into the corner before before runs and hits a knee to Kingston's stomach. Bladewolf then unloads with a fury of lefts and rights before finishing with an uppercut that rocked Kingston. Bladewolf grabs Kingston and drives his knee into his stomach, then hits a reverse elbow to the side of the head, then lands a few more lefts and rights to the stomach before he backs off and paces.
Bladewolf flips his hair back then runs and goes for a running boot but Kingston moved out the way and used his quickness to dropkick Bladewolf's other leg, sending the Demon Wolf down. Kingston hits a double stomp to the Bladewolf's chest, causing him to hold his chest area. Kingston grabs Bladeowlf by the hair and rams his head into the turnbuckle, sending the 9-time World Champion to a knee. Kingston hits some kicks and punches before he hits a spinning heel kick, flooring the Demon Wolf, but he got back up...ONLY TO BE HIT WITH A HOOK KICK!
Bladewolf was caught off guard and was knocked on his back, Kingston quickly went for the first pin attempt of the match, ON-! but Bladewolf quickly kicked out. He got to his feet, rebounds off the ropes but Kingston ran in opposite direction so he ducked the incoming clothesline and Bladewolf turned around...INTO A CRESCENT KICK TO THE FACE!Kingston dropped down on top of Bladewolf and hooked his leg for another quick pin. ONE! T-! Bladewolf kicked out again.
Kingston got up and quickly grabbed Bladewolf in a headlock while he was still getting up, he applied pressure to the hold in hopes of wearing Bladewolf down before he could really take off. But Bladewolf had the size advantage as he grabbed Kingston and lifted him up before dropping down to the mat with kingston hard. Bladewolf got to his feet, flipping his hair back before he grabs Kingston around the waits and hits a German Suplex, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another.
Bladewolf got to his feet, rolling his shoulders as Trish clapped and cheered him on. "Goo baby!" She shouted.
Bladewolf stared down at Kingston before he grabbed him and sends Kingston into the corner and runs for a turnbuckle clothesline but Kingston double boots him in the chest, making him stumble back. Kingston jumped onto the second turnbuckle...AND LEAPS OFF WITH A DIVING CLOTHESLINE! Kingston rolled away from Bladewolf who sits up quickly and gets to his feet.
Kingston ran and hit a few low kicks to the ankles, then a high one to Bladewolf's knee before spinning around only to be floored with a clothesline. Bladewolf got to his feet and starts grabbing Kingston as SmackDown goes to commercial.
*After commercial break*
SmackDown comes back from the break just as Bladewolf got whipped into the corner by Kingston who runs...AND HITS A DOUBLE HIGH KNEE TO THE CHEST! Kingston backs off before he runs...AND DROPKICKS BLADEWOLF IN THE CHEST! Bladewolf falls down onto his back, so Kingston starts heading to the top rope then stands up before he jumps off...AND HITS AN ELBOW DROP! KINGSTON HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! Bladewolf kicks out at two!
Kingston wasn't bothered as he got to his feet before he grabs Bladewolf who suddenly picks him up and tackles him into the corner, driving his shoulder into his stomach multiple times, then unloads with a fury of lefts and rights on Kingston before he grabs him and hits a belly-to-belly suplex. Kingston stumbles to his feet and turns around...INTO A BIG BOOT! Bladewolf rebounds off the ropes and hits the leg drop across Kingston's throat! He hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! Kingston kicks out at two.
Bladewolf got up and pulled Kingston to his feet, then went to whip him into the corner, but Kingston reversed it. Kingston rushed at Bladewolf looking to follow up... BUT BLADEWOLF GOT HIS FEET UP! Kingston slammed into Bladewolf's feet and fell backwards, Bladewolf slipped out between the ropes and climbed up onto the top turnbuckle, but Kingston got back up...AND KICKED OUT BLADEWOLF'S LEG! Bladewolf fell and ended up hanging over the top rope on both sides of the corner, Kingston took a few steps back while Bladewolf was still hanging there, then he raced into the corner and used his hold on the top rope to slingshot himself HIGH up into the air, and he drove his feet down into Machetti's back...AMD HIT A SLINGSHOT DOUBLE FOOT STOMP!
Trish winced as Bladewolf and Kingston both fell down to he mat, but before Kingston could capitalize Trish reached into the ring and grabbed Bladewolf then pulled him out of the ring and down to the floor. Kingston sat up and stared out at Trish, who might've just cost him the match. Trish stepped back and watched as her husband struggled to pull himself up with the ring apron, he stepped back and managed to stand up. But then Kingston grabbed the top rope and launched himself out of the ring...AND HITS BLADEWOLF WITH A SLINGSHOT BODY SPLASH! Kingston and Bladewolf went crashing down to the floor, the referee came over and began the ring out count, ONE!
TWO! The referee paused and once again ordered Trish to stay away from the two competitors, then turned back and continued the count, THREE! Kingston finally started to stir and pushed himself up off of the floor, he crawled over to the ring and grabbed onto the ring apron, FOUR! Kingston used his hold on the ring apron to pull himself back up, but then he noticed Bladewolf was still wasn't moving, FIVE! Kingston took matters into his own hands and grabbed Bladewolf and pulled him up off of the floor, he dragged him over the ring and rolled him back in, SIX! Kingston quickly slipped into the ring under the bottom rope, but decided he didn't want to go for a pin just yet. Kingston ran across the ring and bounced off of the ropes, he came back and stopped short of Bladewolf,
"BOOM! BOOM!" Kofi called out, then leapt up into the air and raised his legs up...AND BRINGS HIS LEGS DOWN IN A DOUBLE LEG DROP! Kingston rolled over and hooked Bladewolf's legs for a pin! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF MANAGED TO KICK OUT!
Kingston got up and pulled Bladewolf to his feet, he went to whip Bladewolf into the corner, but Bladewolf reversed it then ran after him. But when he reached the corner Kingston reached out in front of him and grabbed the top rope, then launched himself up into the air causing Bladewolf to run under him and slam into the corner. Kingston jumped up onto Bladewolf shoulders...AND HIT THE KORONCO BUSTER! The fans got into it and started counting along with Kofi, ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN!
Kingston flipped off of Bladewolf, then jumped up and landed on Bladewolf shoulders before he fell backwards and...LAUNCHED HIM ACROSS THE RING WITH A HURRICURANA! Kingston grabbed the top rope and hoisted himself up and onto it, Bladewolf staggered up to his feet in the middle of the ring, but then Kingston launched himself out of the corner...AND HITS A FLYING CROSSBODY! Kingston grabbed Bladewolf's legs and folded him in half and made the pin! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF BARELY KICKED OUT OF THAT ONE!
Kingston got off of Bladewolf and pulled him up to his feet, then turned and ran to the ropes, bounced off and jumped up into the air...AND HITS A FLYING CLOTHESLINE! Kingston took down Bladewolf then stepped back and waited for him to staggered back up, Bladewolf fought up to his feet and turned around...INTO TROUBLE IN PARA-! No! Bladewolf ducked it! Kingston turned around...INTO A GOOZLE! Bladewolf lifts Kingston up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! BLADEWOLF COVERS HIM! ONE! TWO! THRE-! KINGSTON KICKED OUT OF THAT!
Bladewolf got to his feet and grabs Kingston and lifts him into a Fireman's Carry, looking to hit one of his finishers but Kingston starts fighting back as he struggles and elbows Bladewolf. Bladewolf shook his head...AND HE HIT THE FURY OF THE-! KOFI LANDS ON HIS FEET! Bladewolf turns around...INTO TROUBLE IN PARADISE! KINGSTON HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF JUST BARELY GOT THE SHOULDER UP!
Kingston went wide eyed as he staggered back before he got into the corner. "BOOM! BOOM!" He called for it. He was looking to hit Trouble In Paradise again and end this. Bladewolf stumbled to his feet and turned around...INTO TROUBLE IN PARAD-! BLADEWOLF DUCKED IT! Kingston turned only to be scoope dup...AND HIT WITH THE WOLF'S HOWL! BLADEWOLF COVERS KINGSTON! ONE! TWO! THREE! BLADEWOLF WINS!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Devil's Wolf plays as Bladewolf rolls off Kingston and onto his back, breathing heavily. Trish enters the ring and helps her husband sit up. Bladewolf rolled his shoulders and got to his feet, flipping his hair back. "Here is your winner...THE BLADEWOLF!"
Trish hands Bladewolf the World Heavyweight Champiionship, which he took and stared at before turning his gaze to the WrestleMania 25 sign, knowing it was approaching and soon enough the time where he will be World Heavyweight Champion again.
Edge's theme suddenly hit and out comes the REAL World Heavyweight Champion who runs down, slides into the ring...AND TACKLES BLADEWOLF DOWN! "GIVE IT TO ME! GIVE ME BACK MY TITLE!" Edge shouted, sounding deranged and like a lunatic.
Bladeowlf and Edge went at it like two prison inmates who pissed each other off and can't stand being in the same area as the other. They ended up on their feet, still fighting until Edge shoved Bladewolf back then charged...AND HITS A SPE-! BLADEWOLF SIDESTEPPED IT! Edge ran...INTO TROUBLE IN PARADISE FROM KOFI KINGSTON!
Kingston glared down at the man who cost him a shot at the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Title and took his place after attacking him. Bladewolf leaves the ring with Edge's World Heavyweight Title in hand, not giving it back. He flipped the title onto his left shoulder and walke dup the ramp where Trish waited for him and they head backstage...
Smackdown came back from a commercial break following the Chavo and Shelton vs. MVP and R-Truth which saw Benjamin hit Paydirt on MVP for the win. Edge was shown sitting in his locker room rocking back and forth holding his head on his chair, still looking unhinged when Chavo, still fresh of his win, walked in. "Did you see it?" Edge asked.
"See what?" asked Chavo, sounding confused.
"THE SECURITY FOOTAGE!" roared Edge.
"Oh that," realized Chavo.
"Shut it!" snapped Edge. "John Cena humiliated me on RAW. Bladewolf humiliated me on RAW. Big Show humiliated me on RAW. Bladewolf humiliated me AGAIN tonight. And then if that wasn't bad enough, KOFI KINGSTON HUMILIATED ME TONIGHT TOO!"
"Uh… I'm sorry?" apologized Chavo, uncertain of what Edge wanted him to say.
"You're sorry?" repeated Edge. "They're all trying to humiliate me!" Edge was suddenly on his feet holding Chavo by the neck, "ARE YOU IN ON IT! ARE YOU TRYING TO HUMILIATE ME!?"
Chavo frantically shook his head, "No…" he wheezed, "I had… no idea…"
"ARE YOU TRYING TO STEAL MY TITLE!?" demanded Edge.
Again Chavo frantically shook his head, he laws getting really scared now.
"THEN YOU'RE TRYING TO STEAL MY WIFE! YOU'RE ALL TRYING TO HUMILIATE ME! EVERYONE IS!"
"That's… crazy!" gasped Chavo.
"CRAZY!? I'M NOT CRAZY!" Edge threw Chavo across the room by his neck and Chavo slammed down to the floor. Edge ran over to Chavo and crouched next to him, "I'M NOT CRAZY! SAY IT! SAY I'M NOT CRAZY!"
"You're not crazy…" said Chavo, he was beyond scared, he was terrified. "Edge… please…" To his surprise, Edge simply patted him on the head.
"Good old Chavo," commented Edge, "you're the only one on my side."
"R-right," Chavo stammered in agreement, "O-of course!"
"Cena's trying to take my title, Big Show's trying to take my title, Bladewolf took my title," ranted Edge. "I think it's time… I took something from them. I-I-I've got an idea. Come on Chavo, we're gonna got take something from Bladewolf."
Edge headed for the door while Chavo sat up and winced in pain. "E-Edge...we shouldn't...angering the Bladewolf, that's...that's..."
"COME ON CHAVO!" yelled Edge.
Chavo jumped to his feet and ran over to Edge, too scared to disobey. The cameras cut to the ring and showed for the Matt Hardy in-ring segment.
Later
Maria and Melina were backstage, talking and celebrating their victory when they noticed a very angry Bladewolf storming down the hallway. "EDGE! WHERE ARE YOU?!" he shoved tables and people aside. he grabbed a backstage worker. "Have you seen Edge?!" He slammed the man on a table and slammed him off the table as he repeated his question. "HAVE YOU SEEN EDGE?!"
"N-No! No!" The guy said with terror and fear so Bladewolf tossed him aside and kept searching, coming near the parking lot. He walked up to another guy.
"Have you seen Edge?! That bastard has my wife!"
"I-I think he's down there!" The gut stuttered so Bladewolf walked towards the car the guy pointed at, then opened the door and pulled out a blonde haired guy that WASN'T Edge.
"I'm not Edge! i'm not Edge!" The guy quickly defended himself.
Bladewolf growled and kicked the car door shut hard, nearly taking it off it's hinges and he paced. "EDGE!" He roared before walking off, the cameraman following him...WHEN HE WAS BLINDISDED BY EDGE! The two started fighting again.
"GIVE ME IT! GIVE ME MY PRECIOUS!" Edge shouted, sounding more deranged as he was talking like Gollum from Lord of the Rings now. Bladewolf rammed Edge into the wall then rammed his head off it, sending Edge to the floor. Chavo tried blindsiding Bladewolf from behind but he just whirled around and kneed him in the stomach...THEN SUPERKICKS EDGE IN THE FACE!
Bladewolf grabs Chavo and begins choking him. "Where is my wife?!" He demands. "Tell me or I will rip that stupid hair from your head strand by STRAND!"
"She...She's in...our car!" Chavo choked out.
Bladewolf growled and tossed Chavo aside harshly before eh walked off, looking for Edge's car which he soon spotted and found Trish in the back, tied and gagged. Bladewolf grabbed the back door and yanked it open, then ripped the car door off it's hinges, tossing it aside before he reached in and grabbed Trish. He didn't care if he left the World Heavyweight Championship, he was getting his wife out of here...
