SCOTLAND
Somewhere in Scotland, Vision and Wanda Maximoff were taking a sharing a nice comfortable room. While Pietro was in Sokovia with his nephews Billy and William Maximoff on an important assignment, the two were going to spend a couple of days off together before they had to continue making preparations to unify the Avengers against the coming threat that would be upon the entire universe. However, were they aware of the news of Sauron appearing over New York?
Inside the room, Wanda is in bed while Vision, who used his ability to shift into a human glamour, had been watching out the window. That was when a highpitched trilling was heard, in which Vision suddenly gasped and held his hand to the Mind Stone in a bit of pain.
"Vis? Is it the stone again?" The Scarlet Witch asked.
"Its speaking to me... again," Vision gasped. "Its like... its like it was warning me of something."
"What does it say?" The Scarlet Witch asked.
"I don't... I don't know," Vision answered. "But something..."
The stone trills again, causing Vision to flinch again. Ever since Thanos, the stone reacted to the other Infinity Stones, but this was something else. Something that Vision couldn't solve. Wanda takes his face in her hands. Vision turns his head so he can kiss her left palm, then presses Wanda's hand to the Mind Stone.
"Tell me what you feel?" Vision insisted.
Wanda gestures, her hand emanating her red swirling energy. She seems confused. "I just feel you."
After two had been spending the time kissing each other, they decided to go on a nice evening stroll. Wanda felt a little shaken and nervous since she remembered the last time they went on a stroll and were suddenly ambushed by two of most Thanos' deadly children in the Endless Resurgence that sought after the Mind Stone. They were almost successful in retrieving the Mind Stone from Vision, only for Captain America and his team of Secret Avengers to arrive to their rescue.
"Do you worry that trouble would come and ambush us?" Vision asked.
"No, we were not lucky noticing what happened, but those two were clever to sneak up on us," The Scarlet Witch remembered. "Losing you grieved me."
"I'm so sorry about the grief you carried," Vision apologized.
"Vis, its not your fault," The Scarlet Witch said.
"We almost lost hope when Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped 50% of life across the universe," Vision explained. "I saw you die."
"Well, you know what I think?" The Scarlet Witch asked.
"What?" Vision asked, wanting to find out what she was going to say.
"We're alive," The Scarlet Witch smiled.
"May I ask, do you still feel guilty of something?" Vision asked.
Wanda began to recall a time that after she was brought back by the Avengers, she started to feel overwhelmed by immense grief from her recent personal losses, unleashing her powers to create an alternate idyllic paradise of classical sitcom tropes within the town of Westview. While Harkness was responsible for making her do it, Wanda enthralled its unconsenting inhabitants as cast members, and cut the town off from the outside world through an energy field called the Hex. With a recreated Vision as her husband, Maximoff created her ideal life, even producing twin sons, Thomas and William Maximoff. Further complicating the crisis was Agatha Harkness, a fellow witch who sought to understand the nature of Maximoff's new reality. After defeating Harkness and outside reinforcements, Maximoff dispelled the Hex, erasing her family in the process. Realizing the amount of damage she had done to Westview, Wanda had to flee into isolation.
"Its...," The Scarlet Witch paused and thought to herself. "Its... everything that I did in Westview. What I did to them. The grief over you and my family. I fear the world may see me as a monster for what I did. How can I walk out of this now?"
"Wanda, no one is beyond redemption, even when someone who is in grief," Vision stated. "But you, are strong. You are a good person and deep down in my heart, I know you'll have the poer to make things right. Use it to help others that are in desperate need of your help."
"What's stopping me now?" The Scarlet Witch asked.
Before the two were about to kiss each other again, Wanda turned to see something from a kebab shop. She steps over to take a better view of the TV, at which they had stopped, drawing Vision with her. Out of shock, Vision and Scarlet Witch began to see coverage of the flaming eye that was hovering over New York and many people were screaming around in horror.
"What is that?" The Scarlet Witch fearfully asked in confusion.
"I don't know, Wanda, but whatever it is, this might be something that the stone was warning me about," Vision said.
"Do you think that's him?" The Scarlet Witch asked him. "Sauron?"
"If that is the Dark Lord of what Doctor Strange was telling us about, then we wasted valuable time here in Scotland," Vision sighed. "We need to go back."
"Vis, do you think this is it?" The Scarlet Witch began to ask something.
"What 'it'?" Vision asked back, looking confused.
"The end," The Scarlet Witch choked in fear.
"As long as the Avengers assemble, we won't make it the 'end'," Vision answered.
NEW ATTILAN
Hawaii, which is known as the only island state and the only state in the tropics, derives its name from the name of its largest island, Hawaiʻi. A common Hawaiian explanation of the name of Hawaiʻi is that it was named for Hawaiʻiloa, a legendary figure from Hawaiian myth. He is said to have discovered the islands when they were first settled. There are eight main Hawaiian islands, seven of which are permanently inhabited. The name of the eight islands are is Hawaiʻi, Maui, Oʻahu, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Niʻihau, and Kahoʻolawe. The Hawaiian archipelago is located 2,000 mi (3,200 km) southwest of the contiguous United States.
Hawaii is the southernmost U.S. state and the second westernmost after Alaska. Hawaii, like Alaska, does not border any other U.S. state. It is the only U.S. state that is not geographically located in North America, the only state completely surrounded by water and that is entirely an archipelago, and the only state in which coffee is commercially cultivable. In addition to the eight main islands, the state has many smaller islands and islets. Kaʻula is a small island near Niʻihau. The Northwest Hawaiian Islands is a group of nine small, older islands to the northwest of Kauaʻi that extend from Nihoa to Kure Atoll; these are remnants of once much larger volcanic mountains. Across the archipelago are around 130 small rocks and islets, such as Molokini, which are either volcanic, marine sedimentary or erosional in origin.
The Hawaiian islands were formed by volcanic activity initiated at an undersea magma source called the Hawaiʻi hotspot. The process is continuing to build islands; the tectonic plate beneath much of the Pacific Ocean continually moves northwest and the hot spot remains stationary, slowly creating new volcanoes. Because of the hotspot's location, all currently active land volcanoes are located on the southern half of Hawaiʻi Island. The newest volcano, Lōʻihi Seamount, is located south of the coast of Hawaiʻi Island. The last volcanic eruption outside Hawaiʻi Island occurred at Haleakalā on Maui before the late 18th century, possibly hundreds of years earlier. In 1790, Kīlauea exploded; it was the deadliest eruption known to have occurred in the modern era in what is now the United States. Volcanic activity and subsequent erosion have created impressive geological features. Hawaii Island has the second-highest point among the world's islands.
Several years ago, a population of Inhumans led by the Inhuman Royal Family took refuge in Hawaii following Attilan's collapse. With much of their technology that didn't abandon them, the Inhumans decided to make Hawaii their home and make peace with the humans. Together, both races started to co-exist peacefully and built a new city called New Attilan for the royal family. Many Humans and Inhumans trained together to become honory guards of the New Attilan Security Force led by Auran Kitang, Xiaoyi Chen, Medusalith Amaquelin, Kalikya Toiven, and Frank McGee. The New Attilan Security Force became the policing division of the New Attilan, who kept the peace by solving crimes and doing investigations in matters that occured inside and outside the walls of their city. Verna Adams and her husband Norm were both offered a position in the N.A.S.F. and became honory members of the Royal Family since Medusa viewed them as family.
Around nightfall, Verna was invited to attend dinner with the royal family at Medusa's request. She took time to dress herself up and keep her glasses on. That was when she heard a knock on the door and gave a deep sigh while she just finished putting her dress on.
"Come in," Verna responded immediately.
The door opens and Kalikya Toiven of House Toiven steps in with two Human guards. She was a once cruel individual, but ultimately loyal to Maximus Boltagon of House Boltagon, who she admired because she saw him as someone who did his best despite being looked down. She killed without remorse, also threatening others, and felt no hesitation at the idea of fighting and killing the members of the Inhuman Royal Family as they had become Maximus' enemies. Later however, Kalikya would have a change of heart upon learning from Doctor Enoch Mason that she may not heal eventually, making her fear that her powers could wither and even fail her, leading to her actual death. After Gorgon's sacrifice, she began to question both Maximus and herself. She willingly helped Karnak bring Gorgon back to life, though she personally felt that people were supposed to accept the idea of death, even the ones who seemed immortal like her. Upon realizing that Maximus was more interested in himself than in the well-being of the people he pretended to rule, Kalikya realized that Maximus was not worthy of her loyalty and decided to act for the sake of the people, as she cared for them despite her harsh and brutal demeanor.
Much of her personality had changed. After she used her blood to resurrect Doctor Mason, she was surprised how he managed to inject something that helped strengthen her healing abilities. Eventually, she came to realize that her blood could save others from injuries, wounds, cancers, or poisons. Using it to save others, people came to see her as a great hero for her actions, something that she never heard before while she grew up in Attilan. She came to see that Humans and Inhumans can truly co-exist since she sees that many, who have lived in Hawaii came to admire them, including their abilities. Ever since the Snap, Kalikya had served under Queen Crystalia Amaquelin of the Inhumans and King Damon Hart of the Humans.
"Am I interrupting?" Kalikya asked with a slight smile on her face.
"No, no, of course not," Verna hastily responded.
"Queen Medusa sent us to escort you to dinner," Kalikya informed. "But, you don't have you request it."
"Try to tell her that I'm sorry for being late," Verna smiled.
"That can be arranged," Kalikya smiled back.
Immediately, Kalikya and her guards escort Francesca to the dinner room. The great dinner room for the royal family of New Attilan was as beautiful as ever. The view outside was lovely, something that Verna had suggested. Everyone inside the great dinner room was here. King Blackagar Boltagon, Queen Medusalith Amaquelin, Prince Ahura Boltagon, Princess Crystalia Amaquelin, Prince Damon Hart, Gorgon Petragon, Karnak Mander-Azur, and Anne Marie Menzie were among those inside the dinner room, and they all began to have wonderful chats and laughs altogether.
Blackagar Boltagon, also known to the citizens of Attilan and New Attilan as "Black Bolt", was the leader of the Inhuman Royal Family, head of House Boltagon, and the King of the Inhumans. As a young man, before his Terrigenesis, Blackagar was raised by his father Agon to become the next King of Attilan, destined to rule over the Inhumans for the rest of his life. However, it did not interest him, as he thought the job would be boring. His father still insisted that this would be the future for Black Bolt eventually, while Maximus Boltagon expressed his own desire to become the King instead, who he deemed selfish for not wanting it.
"I'm telling you, you should visit England and meet the royal family," Verna suggested to travel to the other side of the planet.
"I doubt it, but how long have they ruled?" Medusalith asked.
"They and their ancestors ruled for their country for centuries," Verna answered. "Just like yours."
"Hmm, I'll look into it," Medusalith chuckled.
"We do this every day and its always one of the best feasts we have in Hawaii," Prince Damon counted.
"How come no one in Hawaii has ever called you 'prince' since you've been married to me for years since Thanos' genocide?" Crystalia asked.
"Hard to tell, but it doesn't matter whether I'm called a prince or not," Prince Damon smiled.
Crystalia shook her head with a smile and gave her husband a kiss. "You are too funny to me."
"So where did little Aeric run off too?" Prince Damon asked, wondering where they are.
"He must be wondering and running around the streets of New Attilan," Crystalia shook her head with a deep sigh. "He never turns up for dinner while having fun with his friends."
"Well he should attend because this is what every royal member of a Human and Inhuman family does every night," Prince Damon pointed out. "I swear to you Crystal, we can't tolerate this. If they he never shows up, then he can't play no games or watch television."
"You really think we should?" Crystalia frowned.
"Of course, its what a parent does," Prince Damon said. "A mom and a dad must teach their kids every rule of being positive. Will remind him."
"Okay, but I think we should give them a warning first and maybe when we do, they'll come and eat every night during dinner," Crystalia agreed to the idea.
"Its your decision," Prince Damon said, taking a sip of wine.
"I thought it was yours," Crystalia scoffed.
"It can be both," Prince Damon chuckled.
Blackagar Boltagon and Medusalith Amaquelin were both listening to their conversation, smiling and shaking their heads, even while Verna Adams continued to talk. Ever since their trip to Hala to attend the peace talks, they had to return to Earth when the Sakaarans launched a failed attack.
"I'm really proud of your sister," Blackagar said, using his sign language by waving his hands to speak to his wife.
"Yes," Medusalith nodded in remark. "I am. Our nephew will become a great member of our royal family."
Blackagar the used his sign language to ask. "Where's Auran?"
"On a date with her husband, Frank McGee," Medusalith answered with a smile.
The couple watch as Anne Marie Menzie and Karnak Mander-Azur were having a pleasant conversation, even sharing their own food as they spoke.
"This food really takes a great punch," Doctor Menzie remarked on the food she was having. "Can't stop biting."
"The other food you gave me, what was it?" Karnak asked about the food he had for lunch.
"Ah, gnocci I believe, made from Italy," Doctor Menzie answered.
"Tasted something that was familiar back in Attilan," Karnak began to ponder in thought.
Just then the doors open immediately, forcing everyone to stop talking, laughing, and eating. Kalikya Toiven, along with Ulysses Cain, and Xiaoyi Chen. Duodon had been escorted by Aireo Skygon, who volunteered to escort him to the room. Duodon's eyes act as two big projectors with which he can show events to other people.
"Its happened," Ulysses Cain responded immediately in a sight of worry.
"What's happened?" Karnak asked, wondering what this was.
"There's something you all need to see," Kalikya informed the royal family.
"Can it wait after dinner?" Verna asked.
"If its something important, we really shouldn't ignore it," Lord Gorgon said. "We have protocols."
Blackagar began to use his sign language by waving his hands in response. "I agree."
"Please Kalikya, have Duodon reveal what he sees," Medusalith insisted.
"As you wish," Kalikya nodded in compliance.
At that moment, Duodon used his two big projectors to reveal a recent event that takes place in the city of New York, located on the other side of the United States of America.
"Wait, is that New York?" Verna asked, confused.
Duodon continued to show more of the event of what was happening. Immediately, the scene changes to where the sky was growing dark and everyone was looking up to face a storm, revealing the Eye of Sauron that was hovering over the city.
"What the hell is that?" Doctor Menzie asked, confused.
"By the eyes of Attilan, what is that?" Karnak asked.
"We don't know," Kalikya shook her head in response.
"Whatever it is, its not of this world," Medusalith said.
Blackagar Boltagon was completely shocked and saw enough of this. He waved his hands as a sign for Kalikya to inform Duodan to stop. By her king's command, she gave Aireo a nod, who then gently pat Duodan's shoulder as a signal for him to turn it off.
"Man, I think I'm going throw up," Verna breathed in horror.
"We need to send word to this," Medusalith responded immediately to this. "Kalikya, contact Auran and Frank McGee, tell them they must return to New Attilan."
TRISKELION
Back in the Triskelion, Phil Coulson was inside his personal office where he had just finished watching the news of what had just happened yesterday. Seeing the Eye of Sauron, which hovered over the city of New York, frightened so many people around the world now. It seems that Sauron's appearance may have triggered something like what had happened when Thanos sought the six Infinity Stones to wipe 50% of life in the universe. After Coulson turned off the television, Agent Jebediah Young comes in to join him.
"Once word gets out, then there will be a huge panic," Jebediah said.
"Worser than before," Agent Coulson added. "Thanos may have done something that would've bent the universe, but now we face a different threat, probably worse."
"Then how can we prepare ourselves for Sauron?" Jebediah asked. "I have a shotgun with an axe. That's all I have. Tremors hasn't comeback yet, Yo-Yo is with the Cavalry right now, and I've been trying to contact Turbo. No response."
"Thats because we lost contact with them when they were on their way to Hala to settle with a peace treaty with the Kree Empire," Agent Coulson explained. "Captain Danvers sent a report that the planet was under attack."
"Let's just hope Tremors is okay," Jebediah sighed hopefully.
"Jed, I know you care about Fitz and Daisy so much," Agent Coulson respected his feelings. "I get it, I know you worry about them. But right now, we don't have time to argue about this. Right now, we're at war, and we are to survive, then we need to make our preparations.
"And what about the so-called Avengers?" Jebediah asked. "They've been disbanded ever since Tony Stark made his one ultimate sacrifice to defeat Purple."
"Thanos would've decimated the entire the universe if he succeeded," Agent Coulson added more in an argument.
"So what do we do now?" Jebediah asked again, hoping that Coulson may provide an answer.
"Its time to sound the general call," Agent Coulson said, repeating the lines that his former director Nick Fury had said to him before the Battle of New York. "I want every living soul to be ready."
Before Coulson was about to make a call, the door swings open when Agent Gail Runciter comes in, looking as if there was some important news.
"Agent Coulson," Agent Runciter responded immediately in a hast.
"Agent Runciter, do you have anything?" Agent Coulson asked.
"I think you should see this," Agent Runciter insisted, giving Coulson a recording tab.
Coulson and Jebediah exchange looks, hoping that this was truly important. Immediately, Coulson places the tab on the computer and immediately the holographic screen turns on which was featuring Director Daisy Johnson.
"Coulson, I only have a small amount of power left, so I hope this will be enough to send this message," Director Johnson said through the recording. "I'm really counting on you. If you ever get this message, we are currently under attack, but we're about to abandon ship right now. We're on a planet, doesn't have a name and its not within the charts at all. FitzSimmons already setup the tracker for us when we're rescued, but hopefully when we land, will do whatever it takes to survive once help arrives. Coulson, I wasn't ready for this. I didn't ask to be the next director of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Which is why, I'm giving you back the title, so you can have every access to everything. I'm counting on you, and tell Jed not to be pissed if he watches this. I have ten seconds. Good luck, sir."
"Will do whatever we can, Daisy," Agent Coulson murmured a promise.
NEW YORK
Outside of Rand Enterprise, Daniel Rand and Ward Meachum were taking a walk back to their personal residence near Hell's Kitchen, but the two had been noticing a strange difference now within the city. So many people were all gathering around in groups, talking about the fiery eye that hovered over the city. The whole world was now watching and it wouldn't be long when many would start a panic. Many people are declaring it to be an alien invasion just as to what had happened back in 2012 when the Chitauri invaded the city under the command of Loki.
"I must be dreaming," Ward murmured to himself as if he was in a very confusing, but deep panic and gave Danny a very serious look. "Danny, was I dreaming?"
"You weren't," Daniel-Kai deeply sighed.
"Then who the hell was that thing?!" Ward demanded a specific answer. "He was talking to you! His voice was like dark and twisted, and it scared the s*** out of everyone here. Look at this. Look at the city now."
"I know it scared everyone Ward, I can tell by the look of your eyes that your in a panic mode now," Daniel-Kai sensed his emotions. "So get it together."
"Danny, how can I get it together?" Ward asked.
"Look I know your scared," Daniel-Kai understood what Ward was feeling now. "I'm scared too."
"That is when I see a flaming eye hovering over the city and it gets me going that the end of the world is near at hand," Ward sighed. "Ooh, I shouldn't have said 'hand'. What the hell was I thinking?"
"No, no, Ward its okay," Daniel-Kai calmed him.
"So what are you going to do now?" Ward asked, as if he was in a panic.
"I don't know," Daniel-Kai shook his head with an answer.
"But you are the immortal Iron Fist," Ward recalled of who he is. "Aren't you suppose to be the best fighter in the world?"
"Oh man," Daniel-Kai sighed in annoyance. "Well, I had a feeling that the talking eye got the drop on me. I wasn't thinking on his level."
"And what level is that?" Ward asked. "Machiavelli meets Dracula?"
"He was calculated," Daniel-Kai added. "Maybe... strategic. I fear he can be one step ahead."
"C'mon Danny, you and Colleen share the same power," Ward said, reminding him. "Can't you at least use that chi to blast the eye into obilvion if he ever shows his face again."
"Ward, that eye was actually the Dark Lord Sauron," Daniel-Kai began to answer what it was.
"Okay," Ward scoffed with a pretend happy look on his face. "Now I lost you."
"Sauron is a Dark Lord who wants to bend and rule the universe with an iron fist," Daniel Rand explained. "I recall a tale from the Elders of K'un-Lun. They told me and Davos a story about a war that happened on a world which would've been the one and only way to prevent the shadow from rising again. It seems to me that it was Sauron that they were talking about and Master Kung warned me that the Dark Lord would return, and look right now. It seems their stories have come true."
"Right, so how the hell are you going to beat him?" Ward asked. "And don't say 'I don't know'. You are a man of K'un-Lun, and I'm a businessman."
"I should probably meet with Doctor Strange," Daniel-Kai suggested. "He might be the only person who may have the answer. If he can give me something that could be strong enough for a warrior of K'un-Lun to wield, it could really put an end to him once and for all."
"Okay good, so... is that all you have to come up with now?" Ward asked, clapping his hands twice. "We're wasting time Danny."
"Look Ward, I know you believe that I might be the one chosen to defeat him," Daniel-Kai argued. "But I don't know if its possible. I never faced him before. I don't know his power too well. But if Doctor Strange has a weapon of some thing that might've been used before long ago during the war, maybe with the combination of its power and my power, it could really put a stop to him. Right now, you should call Colleen and tell her I'm going to pay a visit to the Wizard Man. My phone is already dead."
"Oh you mean Dumbledore from Harry Potter?" Ward scoffed in absolute laughter.
"Not the way you see it Ward," Daniel Rand shook his head with a smile.
"Okay, well I'll let your future fiancee no what your doing," Ward complied. "I wish you luck on this. Let me know what you get, understand?"
"Understand Ward," Daniel-Kai nodded his head. "And c'mon, Colleen isn't my fiancee."
"I'm saying Danny, you really should marry that girl," Ward insisted. "She yours, and I'm already a father."
"Congrads on that," Daniel-Kai remarked.
"I named him after you," Ward sighed. "Daniel Thomas Meachum, a future heir to the Rand Enterprise."
"Okay," Daniel-Kai sighed. "Well, I guess I got work to do."
"Good because I want you to get the hell over there and don't waste any time... glowing fist man," Ward chuckled.
"Have you been drinking?" Daniel-Kai wondered suspiciously.
"A little," Ward sighed. "Twice actually."
"I never hated you for a second," Daniel-Kai smiled, giving his friend a pat on the shoulder and walks off immediately.
"Same here," Ward scoffed and began to contact Colleen while Danny had already left him. As the phone went to voice mail, he decided to do his part in leaving a message. "Colleen, its Ward. Listen, if you already saw what I saw today, Danny is heading to this Doctor Strange guy, whoever he is. This burning eye, whatever the hell that thing is, was really talking directly at Danny. I fear it wants something from him, so your going to do whatever it takes to help him. Let me know if you got the message. Ward out."
WAKANDA
Wakanda, officially known as the Kingdom of Wakanda, is a nation in North East Africa. For centuries they have remained in isolation and are now considered the most technologically advanced nation of the planet. Birnin Zana is the capital and largest city. The major resource of the country is Vibranium, for which the Wakandans have used this mineral to turn them into one of the economically stable nations on the planet. They were isolationists only trade when needed. Vibranium is sold at $10,000 per gram, and Wakanda's sacred mound is estimated to have about 10,000 tons of the material.
The Wakandan government is based on a pseudo-tribal society. The head of state is the Black Panther. In this role, the Black Panther is the King/Chieftain, religious leader, and commander-in-chief. The title, although it appears to be hereditary, can be challenged by any citizen of Wakanda for the right to rule in a combat ceremony. Wakanda also has a council of tribal of elders; known as the Taifa Ngao to help with the decisions of day to day operations in the nation. They gather to advise the Black Panther on the future of their nation. Following a governmental reformation, the Wakandan Constitutional Council transitioned the country from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy. Since it's early tribal beginnings, Wakanda has been extremely isolationist. They did not invade or provoke any other nations, but if another entered their territory they would retaliate with deadly force. They remained this way for thousands of years, until the modern era when they decided to join the global community. This is still a matter of contention for the Wakandan people.
Education is highly valued in the Wakandan culture and was viewed as a fundamental building block to ancient Wakandans. The nation has one of the highest literacy rates on the planet. They have an eleven year free, compulsory cycle of primary and secondary education. At the end of this, the citizens of Wakanda have the choice in the future of their career path. Many go on to attend one of their free Universities. The citizens also have other options such as farming and mining and other such laboring professions. Even the nation had a universal public health system paid largely from taxation. Wakanda's entire population has equal access to health care services. The nation has one of the highest life expectancy rates on the planet. From birth a citizen is provided with Kimoyo Beads, this device regularly monitors the individual and provides a lifetime worth of medical knowledge. Wakanda has a cure for cancer but being isolationist they are reluctant to share it with the outside world. One of the members of the Wakandan counsel stated "If they care about their people's health they wouldn't sell cigarettes".
Wakanda's technology developed entirely independently of that of the rest of the world due to them remaining in isolation. The creation of methodologies of design are so different it's very difficult to use with outside technology. The creation of methodologies of design are so different it's very difficult to use with outside technology. Their computer technology is so advanced that it's almost impossible to hack. However, they have taken time to learn the technology of the rest of the world, allowing them to hack any external computer system. Most of their technology has Vibranium as it's basis. The Wakandans use advanced communication technology such as the Kimoyo Card and Kimoyo Beads. The Wakandans do not use fossil fuels, even though their land is rich in resources. Instead they utilize a variety of eco-friendly alternative sources such as solar, hydrogen and geothermal. Wakandan scientists split the atom almost a century before the rest of the world, and since the mid-20th century, Wakanda employed sophisticated surveillance satellites, launched at a time when the Americans and Soviets were in the early stages of the space program
For what people are unaware of is that Wakanda was known to be an advanced military power, for which the Wakandan Army is the country's main ground forces, while the Wakandan Navy oversees naval operations. The Wakandan Air Guard is the Nations air force, which includes pilots wearing powerful suits of combat armor. The Hatut Zeraze was formerly the nation's secret police; although it was officially disbanded, they continue to operate in what they believe is their homeland's best interest. The king is protected by his own personal bodyguards, the Dora Milaje, skilled female warriors who have dedicated their lives to the Black Panther. They have their own intelligence agency known as the N'Charu Silema a spy network that worked across the globe to maintain the nation's secrecy.
2.5 million years ago, a meteorite made of an alien metal landed in the heart of Africa, greatly affecting the surrounding flora. Centuries later, five tribes colonized the area and went to war over the metal, which they referred to as Isipho. One day, Bashenga was guided by a vision of Bast who led him towards a plant that had mutated as a result of the metal's powers. As time passed, the Wakandans used the metal to develop technology that was far more highly-advanced than any other in existence. To protect themselves from the chaos that was slowly consuming the rest of the world, they created a cloaking field that allowed them to hide in plain sight.
During T'Chaka's rulership, N'Jobu became convinced that Wakanda's isolationist policy was completely wrong, as the Wakandans could help people of African descent around the world. N'Jobu decided that the only course of action was to initiate a global revolution, so he revealed his country's existence to Ulysses Klaue. With N'Jobu's intel, Klaue managed to avoid all Wakandan security systems and successfully infiltrated Wakanda. Inside he stole a quarter-ton of vibranium although the Wakandans attempted to stop him. However, Klaue triggered a bomb and explosion killed numerous Wakandan citizens, including W'Kabi's parents, which gave Klaue opportunity to escape. As a result of T'Chaka's death in Vienna, T'Challa was subsequently crowned as the new King of Wakanda, first retrieving Nakia from her current mission with Okoye. He then challenged M'Baku for the throne of Wakanda, as by tradition he must fight one of the warriors chosen for the kingdom's throne from the other tribes of Wakanda. While M'Baku was later defeated, his life was spared so he could continue aiding his own tribe in the mountains. T'Challa later took the Heart-Shaped Herb so he could meet with his ancestors, including the late T'Chaka, and become the next ruling King of Wakanda.
Inside the Royal Palace of Wakanda, located in the capital of Central Wakanda, members of the Wakandan Constitutional Council assembled in an important meeting arranged by King T'Challa Udaku and Agent Everett Ross. Among the members of the Wakandan Constitutional Council that attended the meeting were Abeni, Amara Azikiwe, Karim Salah, and Mbali. Abeni continued her role in leading the Lion Tribe. Amara Azikiwe, who sat near where Agent Ross was, was selected by the previous elder Hodari to become the new head of the Sobek Tribe. Despite being very young in her early thirties, Azikiwe was very kind, compassionate, and loyal to the King, including those that lived in Wakanda. She was never distrustful towards outsiders and carried a side of will in hopes to help those that had suffered outside Wakanda. Karim Salah, who sat next to Elder Abeni, represented the Border Tribe. His father served as an officer of the Hatut Zeraze and married a beautiful white woman from England during a mission. Like his father, he was very well-known to the Wakandan people, for which T'Challa viewed him to be honorable, loyal, and smart. Elder Mbali, who like Elder Abeni, remained as the leading representative of the Artisan Tribe, for which her job was oversee merchandise been arranged and organized in Wakanda. Aneka, Ayo, M'yra, Nareema, Okoye, Teela, Xoliswa, Zola, and twelve members of the Dora Milaje were present as well, doing their job to guard and protect the king, which was their job. Princess Shuri Udaku wasn't present in the meeting, for she was busy doing her job in western side of the United States of America.
Jakarra Udaku of the Hyena Tribe and Lord M'Baku of the Jabari Tribe were also members of the Wakandan Constitutional Council, including an Elder of the Crocodile Tribe who arrived late. Jakarra was the son of the Wakandan King T'Chaka Udaku and spy Mateena. Sometime during T'Chaka's rule, Jakarra returned to Wakanda to be ready to earn his role as King since he was declared the eldest and that it was his birthright. T'Chaka refused since he saw how ambitious he was and feared that he bring Wakanda into ruin. Jakarra was furious and sought to seize the throne, but his attempt to do so failed when was arrested and banished from the kingdom forever. Living in exile within South Africa, he rallied many outcasts all over and formed the Hyena Tribe in order to exact his vengeance against his family for choosing to abandon him. With his army at his side, he made his attempt to challenge his half-brother T'Challa Udaku, who defeated his cousin N'Jadaka Udaku. After being bested in combat, he believed that T'Challa would be ready to kill him, but was surprised that his half-brother showed mercy by sparing his life. Instead of being banished, his brother offered him and his people a place in Wakanda. Seeing that he was a monster and that his father had been right about him, he agreed to his brother's request and led his tribe to settle peacefully in Wakanda.
Lord M'Baku grew up in Jabari Land and many Wakandans believed him to be a ruthless leader. In reality, M'Baku is simply a stern leader with a strong sense of honor. He holds great respect for T'Challa, which is shown by having him saving his life as a favor for sparing him in ritual combat. Also, rather than taking the Heart Shaped Herb for himself, M'Baku chose to let Ramonda, Nakia and Shuri use it to save T'Challa. Even before helping T'Challa to defeat Erik Killmonger, he initially chose to die over yielding in ritual combat, but when T'Challa told him that his people needed him to lead them, he yielded. Later on, when T'Challa requested Jabari Tribe's help to take down Erik Killmonger, he initially refused, but he later decided to help T'Challa when he realized the latter was right about the destruction that would happen if vibranium fell into the wrong hands. While he harbored no personal love for Wakanda's more technologically-advanced aspects, M'Baku chose to be very loyal to the people of Wakanda and aid them.
Members of the Taifa Ngao had also attended the council meeting as well. Among the members was Akili, Cangza, D'Sahntoo, Garouche, Hodari, J'Meau, N'Gassi, Ramonda Udaku, S'Yan Udaku, and W'Kabi. Officer Akili was the one to represent Wakanda's secret police known as the Hatut Zeraze and had been very loyal to King T'Challa since he became the new ruler of Wakanda. Cangza was in charge of Wakanda's spy network and had once expressed his disapproval of previous King Azzuri having gifted a piece of Vibranium to Captain America during World War II. Councilman Hodari once led the Sobek Tribe until he decided to pass it to his apprentice Amara Azikiwe. N'Gassi served as a functionary and close colleague to King T'Challa. During times when affairs called T'Challa out of the country, N'Gassi acted as regent in his stead. Ramonda was a South African that left her country searching for help to fight the Apartheid. During her walkabout, she stumbled upon the young Wakandan prince T'Challa, who had become lost while accompanying his father on border inspection. Ramonda reunited the boy with his father, King T'Chaka, and was offered refuge. Despite knowing that she had to return to South Africa, Ramonda stayed in Wakanda for the sake of T'Challa, who had lost his mother N'Yami when he was just a baby. Additionally, Ramonda and T'Chaka fell in love, and eventually married. Not long afterwards, Ramonda would give birth to Princess Shuri Udaku. Ambassador Moise Bomvana couldn't attend the meeting as well due to attending a meeting in Vienna.
S'Yan Udaku was the son of King Azzari the Wise, and the younger brother of T'Chaka Udaku. Being a great thinker and fighter, with strength and speed on par with his brother, S'Yan was given the nickname "S'Yan the Fast". While he was young, S'Yan was very honorable in his heart and had refused to challenge T'Chaka during the tournament since he felt like he wasn't worthy to claim the throne of Wakanda. He was proud of his older brother and remained highly loyal to him during his rule. After T'Chaka was assassinated in Vienna, S'Yan arranged for his brother's funeral and ascended to the throne, but had no intention to rule since he reminded the council that he wasn't worthy and believed that his nephew would be the one to claim the mantle as the next Black Panther. At the start of the tournament to decide the next Panther to rule Wakanda, S'Yan announced that he has chosen to step down as king and pass the title to the one worthy. While all the elders refused to have their warriors challenge T'Challa, he arranged for his son T'Shan Udaku to become the most worthy candidate to challenge for the throne. However, he was surprised and very proud that his son refused to challenge T'Challa since he too wasn't worthy for the throne and that he wanted to do something else rather than serving as a king. He and his son helped T'Challa to fight Killmonger.
As for T'Challa, he was known to be polite, respectful, and cared deeply for the people he is around and who he considers his friends. He is shown to have high respect towards other people, especially towards his father, T'Chaka. He honors the tradition and principles of Wakanda and is willing to take action whenever it is necessary. When his father died, he was willing and ready to take his rightful place as king of Wakanda. While he does not seem to favor fights, he was very quick to try and avenge his father's death. An honorable fighter, T'Challa respects his opponents and is willing to spare his enemies' lives. That being said, he is not opposed to killing his opponents in a fight and does not always try to avoid lethal measures of disabling them. Though he mortally injured Erik Killmonger, he still offered him the chance to heal his wounds and even granted his wish to see Wakanda's sunset before dying. When M'Baku challenged T'Challa for the throne, T'Challa focused on forcing M'Baku to yield rather than trying to kill him.
Despite shown to be too action-oriented and had too much of a shoot-first-ask-questions-later attitude early in his introductions, he is, however, not incapable to see reason and was level-headed enough to know when to keep his emotions in check, shown when he finally had the chance to avenge his father, he ultimately chose not to, knowing that doing so would make him fall as low as Zemo, and would go against what the Black Panther stands for. As he stood by Zemo, the latter explained to him about how he had also lost his loved ones too, and that he and T'Challa were not so different, as they both were in pursuit of revenge. It was at this moment that T'Challa realized that revenge has completely consumed Zemo, and he realized that this is not what his father would have wanted for him. He even offered to heal Erik Killmonger despite wanting to kill him initially due to the multiple atrocities he committed, and for killing N'Baza, who was a friend and a mentor to him. In the end, he agreed to help Captain America and Winter Soldier by granting them asylum in Wakanda, despite their status being international criminals now, as he was able to empathize with the pain both went through. He also displays a strong resolve, as when Captain America warned him the world might declare war on his country for housing Winter Soldier, he confidently stated to let them come.
After ascending to the throne as King of Wakanda, he became constantly torn between honoring the traditions of Wakanda and helping the wider world. T'Challa personally questions Wakanda's isolationism, yet unable to find any solid reasons to take a stand on the issue other than traditions. While he agrees that Wakanda, as the most advanced country in the world, can and should do more to help the world, he is unwilling to revise the country's isolationist policies. It isn't until T'Challa has been dethroned by his corrupted and very destructive cousin, learning about his father's mistakes and the country is on the brink of declaring war against the rest of the world, that he realizes that Wakanda's isolationism had caused, and will eventually cause, more harm than good to the nation's interests, and that of the world's at large. His epiphany on the matter becomes so firm that he berates his father's and his predecessors' insistence on isolationism in the spirit realm, and vows to make Wakanda truly a part of the world. To that end, he would develop a strong moral compass, devoting himself to doing what's best for the people around him, even beyond his status as King. T'Challa initiated a variety of programs dedicated to providing aid to the needy in foreign countries, and promote exchanges in a variety of fields, as early steps to break Wakanda's isolation in a very cautious manner, as it is impossible to fully share Wakanda's wealth, technological advancements, and vibranium resources, without causing worldwide chaos.
"As you can see, the Ngare had been crossing Umeme Mungu for the past couple of weeks," Karim Salah explained. "Ibo Abua and his people are struggling to defend their borders. Homes being burnt, looted and attacked by the Ngare. Its an outrage and act of war."
"The Ngare can't enter Wakanda," Azikiwe said, agreeing to Karim Salah's proposal. "Our borders have been strengthened ever since. What we can do is provide refuge for Abua and his people for the time being. While we continue to expand Wakanda, making it much strong and safe for others, it would give those in Africa hope."
"They have suffered long enough," Hodari agreed too.
"Agreed," W'Kabi nodded in agreement. "My wife Chandra will be ready to provide everything once Abua and his tribe enter the borders of Wakanda."
"Its time for Wakanda to show the world what we can do," S'Yan agreed to the proposal as well. "If our king agrees, we will be ready."
"I accept the proposal," T'Challa answered, giving nods of approvement. "Wakanda has lived in isolation for a long time. We cannot ignore the pleas of those who live outside our borders. Tell Abua that I send my regards to him and his people."
"By your command, King T'Challa," S'Yan complied to his nephew's command. "We will prepare immediately."
"I would suggest we scan them first before they enter," Cangza suggested. "Wakanda is a kingdom that is no place for terrorists that threaten to destroy civilizations, traditions, or societies in the outside world."
"I agree with Cangza," Ramonda agreed. "We should take immediate precaution if we are to let them in."
"Terrorists are unwelcome here," Akili agreed too. "My soldiers and I will prepare for the scanning."
"You have my permission," T'Challa agreed to that too. "Do what you must."
Suddenly, the doors spring open and everyone in the council turn to see two golden-armored Wakandan guards, who were Kazibe and Tayete, escorting Everett Ross into the throne room. Everett Ross served in the United States Air Force, becoming one of its top pilots, but after leaving his military career, he decided to go in joining the CIA and moved swiftly up within the ranks. Following the Ultron Offensive, Agent Ross was put in charge of the newly-formed organization known as the Power Elite. It was there that he would be tasked by his cousin Thaddeus Ross, who ensuried that the rules of the Sokovia Accords were being correctly followed by any and all groups of vigilantes and enhanced individuals, including the Avengers.
Once the Winter Soldier had been successfully apprehended by GSG 9 agents for the recent terrorist bombing and remanded to the Power Elite's custody, it was Everett's duty to control and regulate any and all actions of the Avengers. However, Everett's plans had soon come into conflict with Captain America as the Winter Soldier had been targeted for his involvement in seemingly committing a sudden horrific terrorist act. After Tony Stark revealed that Helmut Zemo was the one to blame for those attacks as Zemo was apprehended by the Black Panther, before Agent Ross took Zemo into custody and made sure that he would remain imprisoned for the crimes he committed in Vienna and succeeding in ripping the Avengers apart.
Eventually, Everett decided to leave the Power Elite and leave it under his cousin's control since he didn't feel good enough to take it seriously. He was then tasked in tracking down Ulysses Klaue, which had put him back into contact with T'Challa Udaku, who was seeking to recapture Klaue for crimes he committed in his past. Upon being mortally wounded by Erik Killmonger, Everett was nursed back to health by Princess Shuri in Wakanda, where he had then discovered all the technological advancements due to their mining of Vibranium. During his time at Wakanda, he also witnessed Killmonger taking control and, due to owing T'Challa a debt for saving his life, then aided the Black Panther with defeating Killmonger's forces. As a result, Everett then supported T'Challa as he began sharing Wakanda's true wealth with the rest of their world.
"Your highness," Agent Ross responded by bowing his head in respect to the King of Wakanda.
"Everett Ross, what brings you back here?" T'Challa asked.
"There's something you need to see," Agent Ross said. "Its spreading all over the news now."
"Show us," T'Challa insisted his request.
At the king's request, Everett Ross turned on a special holoprojectic recording which featured the city of New York being covered in the face of darkness by a storm. Everyone in the room continued to watch, but then froze in horror when the storm revealed the Eye of Sauron hovering over the city.
"By the glory of Bast, what is that?" M'Baku asked, looking at the sight of horror.
"We don't know, but I have a feeling its not part of this world," Agent Ross said.
"Send word to all of our fellow Wakandans, including all those outside our kingdom," T'Challa immediately gave out an important order. "If what Ross is showing, I fear we may be at war."
NEW YORK SANCTUM
Inside the New York Sanctum, Doctor Strange had been busy looking through books after witnessing the Eye of Sauron hovering over New York. Eong, on the hand, had been busy doing his personal business, but took his moment in talking with Doctor Strange.
"The Council has been warned," Wong informed. "The Masters of the Mystic Arts are spreading the word as we speak. We're making preparations right now."
"Good," Doctor Strange nodded in approval. "Contact Wendeling."
"You mean the big Mystic Giant from a different reality?" Wong assumed if that was what he was meaning in a nervous expression.
"She's a smart kid," Doctor Strange remarked. "She maybe in between 50 to 60 feet, but she knows how to take care of things, including her children."
"Didn't know she had children," Wong said.
"She raised a couple of human kids ever since Thanos' genocide," Doctor Strange explained about her. "She maybe too young, but like I said, she's smart."
"And what of the Avengers?" Wong asked that as well. "Are we counting on them?"
"We need all the help we can get," Doctor Strange answered. "Not just on Earth, but other planets as well."
HALA
On the planet Hala, the Sakaarans that attempted to invade the planet failed, but the peace conference turned to be a terrible disaster since no one had any idea how this happened. The Kree accused the Skrulls, believing they were responsible for making an alliance with them, but Talos and his people had no part in this.
Captain Marvel, on the other hand, walks over to Talos and his Skrulls, who were talking about what had happened. "I take it the Kree weren't happy with you."
"They accused us for the attack," Talos said. "No one knows how the hell these Sakaarans would just lay off a failed invasion on this advanced planet."
"It doesn't make any sense," Captain Marvel shook her head in confusion. "Everything was perfect and this turns into a war zone. I don't think this was a coincidence."
"Well I already contacted Fury and he sounded quite well... P.O.," Talos said.
"Yeah, that's Fury," Captain Marvel wearily sighed in remark.
"Well, we need to rap this up," Talos said. "I'm afraid the peace talks between the Kree, Inhumans, Skrulls, Xandarans, and Humans may have to be delayed until we get to the bottom of this. I'm returning back to Satriani at once to deliver a report for S.W.O.R.D.. What about you?"
"I'm going to stay and interrogate some Sakaaran prisoners and find out as to why they would attack Hala," Captain Marvel said.
"Alright, good luck," Talos said. "Inform me if you got anything."
"Will do," Captain Marvel quietly gave him a nod. "Safe travels."
"Same to you, as always," Talos smiled and turned to return to his ship with his people.
After Talos left to return to Satriani to deliver a report in a S.W.O.R.D. base, Captain Marvel traveled to one of the Hala Prison Faciticities where many Sakaaran Natives were being held as prisoners. While the Kree had just allowed her to enter without authorization, she walks over to the cell of Macrothrax, the one responsible for leading the attack on Hala. Macrothrax snarled menacingly at her.
"We're going to have a very nice long chat you and I," Captain Marvel said. "I'm going to ask you questions and your going to answer them."
"And if I say 'no'?" Macrothrax asked.
Captain Marvel sighed as she calmly blasts energy out of her fists towards a wall on the opposite side of the room. Macrothrax didn't seem to scared at all.
"That's what will happen," Captain Marvel answered with a very calm, but threatening look on her face.
"Am I suppose to be scared?" Macrothrax chuckled.
"You will be until your ready to spill out the right words out of your insect mouth," Captain Marvel continued to threaten him. "Now, first question, why did you invade Hala?"
"I aimed to create a sentient insect army to rule over the planet, but not this world, other worlds as well ever since my old home planet was filled with reckless scraps," Macrothrax spat.
Captain Marvel could tell in his eyes that he was lying. In a moment of thought, she believed that Macrothrax was working for someone.
"I don't think that's possible," Captain Marvel refused to believe that.
"That's all I can give you," Macrothrax said.
Captain Marvel knew that he was wasting her time and so she grabs Macrothrax by the neck and hurls him backwards to the wall, threatening to kill him if he continued to refuse in answering her question.
"This is your last chance," Captain Marvel growled. "Lie to me again and I will make your life more painful then it is right now. You think you have the wits to play a game on me? Well, this is my game, I will start by burning every part of your body until your ready to say your words. Now, start talking."
"I'm not suppose to say his name," Macrothrax choked.
"Ah, so we're getting there, whose your friend that you've been working for?" Captain Marvel demanded the specific answer as she continued to hold Macrothrax tightly around his neck.
"Sa... Sa... Sauron," Macrothrax choked out his answer.
"Whose Sauron?" Captain Marvel asked, wanting more.
"A being of pure power," Macrothrax continued to explain as he was still being held by the neck. "He's not of this world. I came to him and we agreed to form this alliance to prepare for the last war. The one and only war that will cover every world in darkness. He sent me to interfere in your precious peace talks on this wretched world as a way to confuse you."
"So this attack wasn't a failure for you?" Captain Marvel asked, confused.
"It was a distraction, only for you," Macrothrax started to laugh. "Sauron knew about you. He knew of your power from the very beginning. And since the plan worked in all, he just delivered a good message to your planet."
"What?" Captain Marvel gasped.
"Sauron told me that he's been going after a person, who bares the power of the Iron Fist," Macrothrax answered more. "He has plans for him."
"Whose this guy your talking about?" Captain Marvel demanded the exact answer.
"I don't know his name, but it doesn't matter now," Macrothrax scoffed. "Do you understand now? This is only the beginning. Sauron will rise again and we will serve at his command. Together, we will be an unstoppable force that will spread through all worlds across this infinite universe. We will be the masters of the universe and you will die before you ever confront him on Arda. This is my message to you."
"Well let's hope that doesn't come to pass," Captain Marvel grinned. "But since you gave up your master's location, I'll be ready to find him."
"Good luck to you, Captain Marvel," Macrothrax laughed.
At first, Captain Marvel had her own thought in wanting to kill him, but instead she releases her hold over him and turns to leave the cell where he continued to laugh wickedly.
"Its only the beginning!" Macrothrax laughed.
HELL'S KITCHEN
Somwehere in Hell's Kitchen, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Matthew Murdock had just finished drinking at Josie's Bar and returned to their personal headquarters of Nelson, Murdock, and Page. While the rest of their employees Rebecca Blake, Elaine Kendrick, Angela Barbato, Rosalind Sharpe, Claude Unger, Kate Vinokur, and Kirsten McDuffe didn't join them, for they were gathering with a lot of people that were panicking and demanding the Avengers to assemble once again. Foggy promised his fiancee Constance MacDermid that he and her would provide support to people, who were in a terrible panic mode since they saw a flaming eye hovering over New York. Despite his recent marriage with Deborah Harris, whom they had divorce years ago, Foggy had hope that his marriage with Constance would be perfect. Milla Donovan, who was Matthew Murdock's ex-wife, had been busy working for hours in the Hell's Kitchen Housing Commission since she received a very huge promotion.
"This is a really shocking story that no one has ever seen," Foggy said, reading the newspaper of the flaming eye peering over New York City. " I mean what kind of thing are we dealing with here?"
"Something… sinister I would say," Miss Page guessed.
"Let's not even think that its the end of the world kinda of thing right?" Foggy deeply sighed. "Because some certain jackasses always make up. Imagine if I ever fly up to the eye, I would…
"And what?" Miss Page asked.
"Put my finger… into its you know what," Foggy added. "Make it cry or get it blind." Then he turns to his friend and partner. "No offense to you Matty."
"Don't worry I get it all the time," Matthew Murdock smiled in pleasure.
"Hmm," Miss Page chuckled at that.
"Well, Karen seems to be amused by that offense, but like I said, many reporters are asking the exact same questions," Foggy said. "Where did the eye come from? What does it want?"
"It remains a mystery," Miss Page said. "Surely there has to be a logic cause that Ellison and I are trying to solve, but so far… there's none."
"Please tell me I don't detect a hint of admiration for Mr. Ellison," Foggy assumed, didn't sound too thrilled since he never shared any friendship with Mitchell.
"Well Mitchell is a good man, we've been working together on some stories that we had to add to the front pages," Miss Page explained her partnership and relationship with Mitchell Ellison. "But right now, whatever we saw yesterday, this is just all speculation. Nobody knows if this is end of the world or what. I mean, what do you think Matt."
"I think Foggy'll be pitching for the Mets by mid-season," Matthew Murdock calmly joked.
"I'm been serious," Miss Page chuckled.
"So am I," Matthew Murdock chuckled as well. "Have you seen their bullpen?"
"Come on, you telling me this fiery eye emerging out of clouds doesn't happen that often and it doesn't seem to piss you off, and what is this exactly?" Foggy asked that.
"I wish I could answer that Foggy, but so far we have no clue," Matthew Murdock said. "And yeah, it pisses me off when something like that goes haywire, but whoever that thing was, whatever his motive, we know it won't be convicted in the press. I mean, we're lawyers."
"But your the Daredevil," Foggy added.
"Yeah," Matthew Murdock breathed in embarrassment.
"So, uh, hypothetically, if this mysterious fiery eye was after something, or perhaps sending a message to us, what would we give in return," Karen Page stated. "Does that count on what could really be the case?"
"Hell no," Foggy declined that. "No way that could never be the case. Marci would laugh at that by the way."
"Yeah, it's more than likely," Matthew Murdock said.
"Just a thought, but we may wanna go a bit peppier at the end of the day," Miss Page said unhappily as she gets up and places her folder in her bag. "Leave on a note slightly higher than deeply depressing.
Foggy points her finger and nods it as a sign that he agrees to her point. "She's right. You're bringing us down, Murdock."
"Me?" Matthew Murdock laughed.
"High note!" Foggy exclaimed, grabbing a baseball. "Softball!"
Karen Page started to laugh at that. "Really?"
"When are we getting a company team together?" Foggy asked, remembering the good old days.
"I'm getting four more employees," Matthew Murdock said. "And you?"
"So far, my job with Hogarth seems to be catching up," Foggy remarked. "She's a total bombshell."
"Yeah that sounds like Hogarth," Matthew Murdock grinned.
"At least she's not blind," Foggy joked. "But naysayers, each and every one of you." He turns to Karen and raises his voice to her. "Karen, come on! Batting practice, you and me, Chelsea Piers. What do you say?"
"Um, I…" Miss Page paused, trying to think of what to say.
"Or not," Foggy said. "Totally cool."
"No, no, I would, I would," Miss Page laughs slightly. "It's just that, I, um… I have this, uh, thing."
"Go, do that thing," Foggy insisted. "Not a problem."
"Okay, well, I got a lot of things that Ellison and I are doing tomorrow, so catch you later," Karen Page smiled.
"We'll always be here to support one another," Foggy said.
Karen walks to the door and leaves to close it, leaving Frankling "Foggy" Nelson and Matthew Murdock alone in the office to talk.
"Smooth," Matthew Murdock smiled.
"Admittedly, I'm a work in progress," Foggy said and lays the bat on the table. "Besides, did you know she has mace on her keychain?"
"Is that a bad thing?" Matthew Murdock wondered.
"As the Daredevil, do you always worry about us, me and her, or anyone else?" Foggy asked.
"Everyone has secrets, Foggy," Matthew Murdock answered.
"I don't," Foggy said, putting his sports jacket on. "I'd like some. Your kind… like with Hottie McBurner-Phone."
"May I ask you something?" Matthew Murdock responded, changing the subject. "What plan do you have for your future wife?"
"Oh don't get there," Foggy pretended to plead. "But I'll tell you that my Meat Grinder in the Pencil Skirt and I will be going to the Bahamas on our honeymoon."
"Thought you said it was France," Matthew Murdock recalled.
"Constance and I changed the idea," Foggy scoffed. "Besides, she likes the Bahamas."
SAN FRANCISCO
Sometime around early afternoon, Scott Edward Harris Lang, who was known as the current Ant-Man, had been rushing towards a building that served as the primary headquarters for a security company called the Ant-Man Security Solutions. Scott was known to be an affable rogue with tongue-in-cheek humor. Despite his criminal activity, he was described as a man of honor with good morals and justice, though to the point of being stubborn. While being a thief, Scott was a huge fan of the Avengers, admiring their heroism deeply. Before becoming a thief, Scott earned a master's degree in electrical engineering. With his skills, he would often steal from criminals and give back to those they had stolen from. That was when he would marry a woman named Trina Rae. Before meeting Trina, Scott once went on a date with her younger sister Peggy Rae, but broke up when he learned that she fell in love with Blake Burdick and got married. It wouldn't be long when Scott would meet Trina, who had just broke up with her fiancee when she learned that he was having an affair with another woman. Trina was very supportive of Lang, but disliked his robberies from criminals. The couple later had a daughter whom they named Cassandra "Cassie" Lang. Wishing to support his own family, Scott promised his wife that he would stop stealing after Cassie's birth and took up a job at the security company Vistacorp.
During his job in Vistacorp, Scott discovered that the company was overcharging all its customers. At first, he thought it was simply a coding error and believed that someone was going into the system to hack it. After changing it, he then realized that the company was intentionally doing this to their customers for financial gain. He tried to consult this with his boss Ulysses Lugman. He eventually learned that Lugman stealing money in order to overcharge all the customers. Scott tried to blackmail him, but Lugman ordered him to revert his many corrections before firing him. Angered by VistaCorp's larceny and accusing Lugman as a master thief, he broke into the Vistacorp Headquarters to hack their systems and successfully paid back the money to Vistacorp's customers. After leaviung his wife a message about what he uncovered at Visacorps and that he was going to provide a lot of evidence to the FBI and the CIA, he then broke into Lugman's Mansion and managed to uncover the items to use to expose Lugman. Before he got carried away and drove Zorick's car into the mansion's pool.
While he was this close in exposing Lugman's criminal activities to the FBI and CIA, Scott Lang's chance to do so failed when he was caught and arrested by the police. He recently tried to hire Jennifer Susan Walters as his lawyer since he viewed her as the best that it would help him expose Lugman. However, Jennifer Walters was too busy to help Lang and so sent another lawyer in her place. With the evidence provided by him and his lawyer, Ulysses Lugman was arrested on charges of thievery in his company and sentenced for twenty years in prison. Scott thought he wouldn't go to prison, but instead, he was given a three-year sentence in San Quentin State Prison, something that he didn't consider for it to be bad about, but he knew that he broke his word to his wife Trina and how much he promised he wouldn't do something reckless like that again. During his time in prison, Scott signed the divorce papers that Trina sent to him and became very close to his cellmate, Antonio Rojo, who was known as El Toro and usually called himself Luis as his own prison name. Scott and Antonio became best friends and promised that the two would have eachother's backs. After El Toro was released first, Lang kept in close tabs with him and would be ready to let him know when he will be released. He even vowed to never get involved in crime again and focus his attention on helping to raise his daughter Cassie.
Having said his goodbyes to prison, Scott Lang was been freed in the wake of robbing Vistacorp and allowed to have his freedom at last. While in search for a new job that would allow him to see Cassie again, he was hired by Doctor Hank Pym, who chose him to take on the mantle as the new Ant-Man. Trained under both Hank and his daughter Hope van Dyne, Lang was to help foil Hank's former protege Darren Cross, who was intending to sell his Yellowjacket Suit design and his copy of the Pym Particles formula to HYDRA and the Ten Rings. However, their plan was discovered by Cross, culminating in a final fight between Cross and Ant-Man. To defeat Cross, Lang had to shrink small enough to enter Cross' Yellowjacket suit and destroy it, sending Lang to the Quantum Realm, but Lang was able to escape. Lang's heroism helped restore his relationship with Cassie and his ex-wife, as well as find a new romantic one with Hope. Lang soon learned that the Avengers were seeking to recruit him. Against Hank and Hope's wishes, Lang joined Captain America's side during the Avengers Civil War, having been recommended by the Falcon following their previous encounter at the New Avengers Facility, and being informed of Helmut Zemo's plan to awaken the Winter Soldiers. Ant-Man fought against Iron Man and his allies, demonstrating his suit's new ability to enlarge his body to a gigantic size, and allowing Captain America and Winter Soldier to escape and find Zemo. Scott and several of his new allies were then arrested by Thaddeus Ross, who had them imprisoned in the Raft for breaking the Sokovia Accords. When Captain America arrived to free them, Scott Lang and Clint Barton chose not to escape, instead making a deal with the FBI to be put under house arrest so that they could still spend time with their own families.
Three days before Lang could finish his sentence, he had a strange vision of Janet van Dyne, who had remained trapped inside the Quantum Realm, and with whom Lang became psychically entangled with when he was there. This resulted in Lang being kidnapped by Hank and Hope, who had built a Quantum Tunnel machine and intended to use it and Lang to rescue Janet. These plans went awry when Lang and Hope were confronted by both Ghost and Sonny Burch, who wanted to steal the Quantum Tunnel machine for their own selfish reasons. Scott, Hope, and Hank eventually succeeded in rescuing Janet from the Quantum Realm, and Scott was able to return home to finish his house arrest, narrowly avoiding an extended prison sentence. However, during a trip to the Quantum Realm to gather quantum particles for Ghost, Lang became trapped as Hank Pym's entire family was turned to dust by Thanos following the Snap, along with half of all life in the universe. Lang was unable to escape until 2023, where he regrouped with the Avengers and suggested that they use the Quantum Realm as a means of time travel to undo Thanos' actions. He then participated in the Time Heist, where he and the Avengers successfully managed to find and collect the six Infinity Stones from the past and resurrect all life killed by Thanos. However, a past version of Thanos had managed to follow the Avengers through time, and Ant-Man would fight in the resulting Battle of Earth. Thanos and his army were eventually destroyed, after which Lang celebrated the victory with Hope and Cassie, and attended Tony Stark's funeral.
After abandoning his criminal lifestyle, Scott Lang and his best friend Antonio Rojo decided to start their own legal business, together with Kurt Hamsun and Jalen Diggs. Together, they founded Ant-Man Security Solutions in San Francisco, specializing in security systems and devices. While Lang was placed on house arrest by the FBI, Luis had to temporarily run the company by himself. However, the company was close to being shut down and Luis decided to keep it a secret.
Rushing inside the building, Scott could tell that every part of the building was dark and so he decided to go and investigate, suspecting that there was something wrong. Once he enters the main room within the heart of the building, the lights flick open and many people, including his future wife Hope Van Dyne, his younger sister Ruth Lang, his daughter Cassandra Eleanor Lang, his ex-wife Trina Rae with her husband Lee Kearns, his best friends Antonio "Luis" Rojo, Jalen "Jaydee" Diggs, and Kurt Damsun, Officer Jerry Washington, Nadia Van Dyne, Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne, Ben Carter, Patricia "Trixie" Starr, William Barrett Foster, Dale West, Talia Kruma, Herbert Bell, Celia Jackson, Keith Jackson, Alexis Miranda, Amber Silverstein, Priscilla LaShayla Smith, Priya Aggarwal, and Taina Miranda. Scott gasped in absolute surprise upon seeing everyone inside the building.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" The crowd shouts.
"I thought you said this was something important, Luis," Scott Lang scoffed.
"Scotty, c'mon man, it's your birthday," El Toro said. "We never forget your birthday."
"And it was his idea to this up for you while you were gone," Nadia recalled that with a warm smile.
"Anyone else here?" Scott Lang asked, wondering if others had attended.
"The rest of our current employees couldn't attend due to important matters, but they wish you a happy birthday," Doctor Pym said.
"And we got ourselves some nice ready made cake, drinks on the house, chips, pin a tail on a donkey, and a pool table which I brought from my cousin's house," Jaydee said.
"Seriously, you have a pool table?" Scott Lang scoffed.
"I even brought some delicious biscuits from my country," Damsun whispered to Jaydee.
"What kind of biscuits?" Jaydee asked, whispering back about the biscuits.
Hope walks over to pass Scott his first present which was like the size for a suit. She smiles. "You want to be the first to open this big one or should I?"
"Let me guess, its a suit?" Scott Lang asked, giving her a grin. "Right?"
"You'll have to see it for yourself," Hope grinned widely.
"She and I worked on this present for weeks, so you better like it or you're fired," Doctor Pym warningly jested.
"Ha ha ha, very funny," Scott Lang responded by making a fake laugh and paused by giving his old boss an awkward look. "Wait, were you really jesting?"
"Go on dad, open it," Stature insisted excitedly.
"Do what she says," Officer Kearns added.
"I got my phone ready for a snapshot," Trina grinned. "Even though, Lee and I were snapped out of existence."
"Don't remind me," Officer Kearns sighed, not wanting to remember what happened.
Before Scott was about to open his present, Nadia turns to focus on the television when she began to notice something on the news. She got closer to the television and out of pure shock, she saw a footage of a dark storm with a fiery eye hovering over the city of New York.
"Oh my god," Nadia murmured in horror.
"Oh swell, this is the best Ant-Man suit ever!" Scott Lang gasped loudly in surprise.
"Ready, ready," Trina giggled and took a snapshot of her ex-husband holding the new Ant-Man suit.
"We made some new modifications on that suit," Doctor Pym explained. "Janet arranged it and you'll find it to be much better that the last one you wore."
"I thought you would like it," Hope laughed.
"And I do," Scott Lang smiled. "Thanks Hope."
"Don't thank her, thank all of us, we made this the special present of the year," Janet Pym added.
"Are you going to put it on, daddy?" Stature asked, looking excited.
"What, you want me to get naked in front of everyone here, no, I'll do it in the bathroom," Scott Lang suggested.
""Uh guys," Nadia called everyone to turn their attention on her. "I think you need to see this."
BARTON FARM
Inside the Barton Farm, a large farmhouse owned by the Barton Family in Missouri, Clinton Francis Barton, better known as Hawkeye by his friends and family, had been busy packing things up with his family. Born in Iowa, Clint was the son of Edith and Harold Barton, thus making him the younger brother of Bernard Barton and the older brother of Charles Barton, who mysteriously vanished while growing up. Though commonly misjudged and underestimated as one of the most underpowered Avengers, with his ability to blend in with his environment, his stoic professionalism, and ability to see and assess from afar, Clint was often valued by his superiors for his ability to keep an eye on people and assess situations. Despite never finishing high school, he developed a talent for marksmanship, mainly with a bow and arrow, thus drawing the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D., an agency that was looking to recruit the best assets to help protect the world from threats that were meant to come in the future. Before he joined the agency, he grew up with his childhood friend Laura, and the two would marry and have six children named Nicole, Francis, Katie, Callum, Ashley, and Lewis Barton.
Hand-picked by Director Nicholas Joseph Fury for his skills, Clint Barton became one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most skilled agents. He had only told Director Fury of his relationship with Laura, so Fury excluded her from Barton's S.H.I.E.L.D. files in order to protect them, as well as setting up a farmhouse for the couple in Missouri. During Hawkeye's time as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., an assassin who was known as the Black Widow appeared on the organization's radar as she had become a potential threat to global security. Hawkeye was assigned to Russia, where he would carry out the assassination of Black Widow. However, once Hawkeye had tracked down Black Widow and confronted her, he saw her true potential and instead of killing her, recruited her into S.H.I.E.L.D.. Hawkeye would discover Black Widow's true name, Natasha Romanoff, and the two would work closely. He would describe Romanoff as his best counterpart and the relationship between the two developed into a lasting partnership, as they became best friends while continuing to work together as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top agents. Together, they would arrange their missions in Budapest, Abidjan and elsewhere. The pair grew so close that Romanoff became the only other person Barton told about his family. She became a good friend to them, even adopting an aunt-like relationship with Barton and Laura's children while they were growing up. In return, she once told Clint about her past life with the Red Room and as an assassin. Clint told her that was in the past and reminds her what it means to a better person in protecting people from harm. This would soon lead him and Romanoff to join a special team that was founded by Director Fury to prepare for any global threats that was soon to come.
One of the first threats involved with the Tesseract. While his partner Romanoff has been away, Agent Clint Barton was ordered by Director Fury to watch over the Tesseract, but would soon become brainwashed by Loki, who was banished from Asgard for nearly attempting to lay waste towards the Nine Realms, and became one of his deadly pawns for all his evil schemes. However, following their Attack on the Helicarrier, he was freed from Loki's mental controls by Black Widow and joined the Avengers to fight against Loki's Chitauri army in the Battle of New York, ending Loki's Invasion, before Hawkeye had returned to his work as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. continued to work with S.H.I.E.L.D. until its collapse following the HYDRA Uprising, he and the Avengers worked to bring down the remnants of HYDRA, eventually capturing Wolfgang von Strucker and ending the organization's threat to the world. However, he was pulled back into their fight as Tony Stark had inadvertently used HYDRA, including some Chitauri technology to create Ultron. As Ultron tried to destroy their world, he allied himself with Pietro and Wanda Maximoff and Barton focused much of his efforts in convincing them to change sides while keeping all the Avengers safe by bringing them into his family home. During the final Battle of Sokovia, Hawkeye's life was saved by Quicksilver's sacrifice, resulting in Barton retiring from the Avengers to return to his family.
Despite living happily within retirement for a brief time, Clint joined the Secret Avengers led by Captain America, for which he agreed to help him following the establishment of the Sokovia Accords. Feeling that he owed a debt to Steve Rogers and Wanda Maximoff, he had joined in the Clash of the Avengers, fighting against Iron Man who was in support of the Accords. Despite putting up a good fight, Clint and most of their team were eventually defeated and imprisoned at the Raft under the order from Thaddeus Ross, only to be freed by Rogers. He returned back to retirement and, after striking his deal with Ross, was then placed under his house arrest, but when Thanos caused a terrible genocide which wiped 50% of life in the universe, Clint Barton then went onto a grief-fuelled rampage against criminals for five years as the vigilante named Rōnin. Having been found by Black Widow, Barton was then convinced to return to the Avengers to attempt to reverse the Snap. Hawkeye joined the team in enacting the Time Heist in order to obtain the Infinity Stones, during which he witnessed Romanoff sacrifice her life so Hawkeye could reclaim the Soul Stone. However, as the Avengers had succeeded in their goal, they were ambushed by Thanos, with Hawkeye being ordered to ensure Thanos could not get the Nano Gauntlet. Eventually, Thanos and his entire army were defeated, as Tony Stark had sacrificed his life, allowing Barton to then return home with his beloved family.
While his family had been busy packing for their vacation trip to New York City, Clint took a moment in staring at a picture of him with Romanoff, smiling in front of the camera. He still carried a lot of grief over Romanoff's death, often blaming himself for what had happened during the Time Heist. As he continued to stare at the photo, his firstborn daughter Nicole Barton, who had recently joined S.H.I.E.L.D., walks to join him.
"Dad?" Agent Nicole Barton responded. "You okay?"
"Huh, oh yeah, I'm... I'm fine," Hawkeye gasped.
"You don't seem fine to me," Agent Nicole Barton shook her head, knowing already that he still continued to mourn over Natasha. "I mean, when I get back, I feel like I'm talking to someone else. You haven't said a word ever since Tony's funeral."
"Honey..." Hawkeye paused, taking a moment to exhale. "I know you worry about me, but I'm asking you not to think that would ever ignore you like that. Do you understand?"
"Dad, I understand, but what you need to understand is, it wasn't your fault," Agent Nicole Barton said. "None of it was. She knew what she was doing."
"Yeah," Hawkeye whispered in response, nodding his head. "She did know."
Nicole laid her head on her father's shoulder and quietly says. "I miss her dad."
"I know honey," Hawkeye whispered. "I miss her too." He smiles and kisses his daughter on the head. "You know when I was very young and you were just three. I told you first about my early career and how it meant something to me. You said, 'daddy, when I grow up, I really really really want to grow up to become like you'. Those were the words and look at you now. You are an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., like I was. You've learned how to kick a person's ass, no matter what happens. You've survived a few missions and... that makes you really special when it comes to an important responsibility."
"Even when I'm in there, I have important protocols that I can't ignore, they're important," Agent Nicole Barton sighed. "And it sucks too."
"Everything sucks in a way," Hawkeye nodded, understanding his words. "So what protocols are you doing?"
"That's classified dad," Agent Nicole Barton smiled.
"Ahh, you gonna tell me," Hawkeye pretended to whimper.
"No," Agent Nicole Barton started to laugh a bit.
"Just one little," Hawkeye continued to persuade her daughter, but did as a way to entertain her.
"You are retired dad, I'm not," Agent Nicole Barton reminded him. "And I'm not. I still got many more years to go."
"Yeah, yeah, right, whatever," Hawkeye chuckled and gave her kiss in the cheek and responded quietly. "I'm so proud you, sweaty. You really made us proud."
"Yeah," Agent Nicole Barton breathed in remark.
Lewis comes out running towards Clint and Nicole, calling. "Dad!"
"Ah what is it Little Lew," Agent Nicole Barton asked, wrapping her arm around her baby brother.
"You need to look at the TV," Lewis Barton said.
"Oh, is it the weather news already little guy?" Hawkeye asked.
Lewis looks up and nods at his dad. "Yes."
"Okay, well, let's have a little look," Hawkeye suggested.
Immediately, Clint Barton, Nicole Barton, and Lewis Barton head towards the television room. Once they were in, Lewis raises the volume on the television, which featured the news. The three continued to watch the news until they started to look on in horror when they noticed a footage featuring a storm and the eye of Sauron hovering over the city of New York.
"What the hell?" Hawkeye murmured in absolute shock of what he was seeing.
"I need to call command," Agent Nicole Barton said as she turns to the other room to contact S.H.I.E.L.D. privately.
"Are we going on vacation, dad?" Lewis Barton asked.
"I don't know if that's happening, kiddo," Hawkeye responded quietly and rubs Lewis' hair.
That was when Clint's attention caused him to notice a Quinjet landing several steps away from the Barton Farm. He sighs in ignorance, believing that S.H.I.E.L.D. was planning on recruiting him due to the threat. He walks outside by himself to meet with the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel, but as he gets closer to the Quinjet, he sighs in absolute relief that it was his old friend Bruce Banner, who was now known as "Professor Hulk" and a former team member of the Avengers.
"Didn't know you can fly a Quinjet," Hawkeye said.
"Ah, yeah, I kinda had a little trouble at the time, but I gotten quite use to all this," Professor Hulk smiled calmly.
"What'a doing here?" Hawkeye asked, wanting to know why he was here.
"I need your help," Professor Hulk answered.
"Can't help you there," Hawkeye declined. "Perhaps you've forgotten, I've retired."
"You need to hear me out," Professor Hulk started to explain. "Its..."
"Oh let me guess, is it about the mysterious flaming eye that was hovering over the city of New York, because if it is, then there's no need for you to explain," Hawkeye hastily responded in sarcasm, cutting him off.
"Yeah that's what I was going to say," Professor Hulk sighed and began too wonder what his problem was. "Clint, I don't mean to change the subject in all, but... are you... okay?"
"I'm sorry, is this a quiz or something?" Hawkeye scoffed. "No, it isn't."
"Look, I know how much Natasha meant for you," Professor Hulk understood his feelings. "She was a great sister of the team."
"Just stop!" Hawkeye snapped and grabbed Hulk's arm. "Stop. I do not want to hear her name. You know dam well how I get when I hear her name! Its like its... its like its back at the moment of when she died and I would've been the one to make the fall. It was my choice! My own, I didn't ask her to take my place! It was suppose to be me!"
After releasing Hulk's arms, Clint fell on his knees and started to grieve even more over Natasha's death. Hulk deeply understood how he felt and he too misses her as well.
"I know you miss her Clint, so do I," Professor Hulk nodded. "I was in grief after the battle. Losing her was a tragedy for all of us. I always thought to myself that I could've done better in using the stones to bring her back."
"But you didn't because it can't be undone," Hawkeye sniffed.
"I know it can't," Professor Hulk nodded.
"Just stop please, Natasha's gone, but not just her, Cap and Iron Man included," Hawkeye continued to sniff in grief and stand up to look directly at Hulk with tears in his eyes. "They're all gone Bruce and there's nothing we can do to fix all this sh** up. So if you got something to say about me rejoining the team, I'm going to say 'no'. I'm with my family now. I want to be with my family that I haven't been with for the last five freaking years since Thanos unleashed a massive genocide across the whole darn universe. I'm retired and all I want is to live the rest of my life in peace. Okay, yes, the burning eye is a threat, but I'm not going to be a part of this. So sorry, its time for you to get your ass back in the Quinjet and get the hell off my land before I call the sheriff."
"I thought you were the sheriff," Professor Hulk recalled.
"Wasn't good at it, so can you please get out," Hawkeye demanded sharply.
"We really need you pal," Professor Hulk told him. "The Avengers needs you. The world needs the Avengers now and always. I'm pretty sure that's what Cap, Iron Man, and Nat would've wanted."
"And what would they have wanted?" Hawkeye asked.
"To move on," Professor Hulk answered.
"Well I hate to tell you, but I'm off the book," Hawkeye continued to decline. "You wasted your time. I'm not part of this anymore. I'm no longer an Avenger. So help me!"
"I know," Professor Hulk nodded and turns to leave.
"Then why the hell are you still here?" Hawkeye asked, giving him a very angry look.
"Your angry, I understand," Professor Hulk nodded, knowing how he feels.
"Screw you man, I'm actually 100% pissed right now, so just get out of here!" Hawkeye exclaimed in fury. "NOW!"
"Okay," Professor Hulk calmly nodded with a smile. "I will. I won't bother you anymore. You're happy with your family and they need you more than us. Take care of yourself, Clint."
