A few days later Sadie and Sarah travel down to New Ausstin to track Sadie's stolen bount, taken by a rival bounty hunter, Shane Finley.

The two find Finley and his men at the bottom of Pike's Basin. A large shootout unsurprisingly ensues. Sarah now uses a Bolt Action rifle, as all future weapons besides her pistol were taken with Carly and Michael to avoid upsetting the timeline anymore.

The girls slowly fight their way to the bottom of Pike's Basin, one of them kills Shane, and they take back the stolen Bounty. Sarah puts the bounty on the back of Sadie's horse, and they start riding for Blackwater. But they are ambushed from above by Finley's remaining men, who are pursuing the pair on horseback. After dispatching their pursuers, Sadie and Saraj reach Blackwater to hand over the bounty.

Sadie reports to Police Chief Oswald Dunbar that Finelt is dead after he tries to rob her, and is then paid $400 for the bounty, which she splits with Sarah. Sadie rides off, but Sarah decides to stay in Blackwater, conveniently she runs into Marston and helps him reach a store named Cakes Hardwood and Timber to purchase a pre-cut house from Albert Cakes.

A few hours later, they meet up with Charles, who hugs her. But he warns them about hearing the news regarding a dangerous and frightening gang, The Skinner Brothers, who are active around the forest they have to go though to meet Mr Wayne's contact. Another contact Charles knew of.

They reach Mr Wayne's contact with no troubles. But it's on the way back that became another story. They get attacked alright. Mr Wayne is hit by an arrow. The others grab their weapons and return fire. ''It's them!'' Charles cried as John grabbed a Winchester rifle he hid behind the wagon. Sure enough the Skinners are terrifying, some straight up charge at them with machetes, adding all the more danger to the battle, they don't even consider their own survival.

Mr Wayne gets dragged by them. The three chase after them. Killing more of the crazy lunatics, basically a worse verison of the Alturists.

But when they finally reached Wyne, it was unfortuntely already too late. The Skinners have shoved a hatchet though his head and left him hung on a tree as if on display. Charles immediately takes him and brings him back, later burying him. Fortunately by this point the Skinners had been scared off, so the rest of the trip was peaceful.

''Jesus, you weren't kidding.'' John said.

''Yeah the skinners are deadly. Last week a stagecoach went missing.. No body's were ever found.'' Charles said.

''I thought, this kind of bloodshed was meant to be over.'' John insisted.

''This kinda bloodshed. It's different. People die, sure, for good reason or bad. But rarely for the fun of it.'' Charles explained.

''That was fun for them?'' Sarah asked, almost angry.

''No, not that time. Most foke don't put up with such a fight.'' Charles said.

Arriving at Beachers Hope, they tell Uncle about the incident, who expresses his sympathy. But they managed to save all the wooden planks, and slowly the house began being built. So it wasn't for nothing.

Sarah, angered by attack, later goes after the leader in a bounty hunt. She somehow had the strangth to take him in alive though. He spends the way back talking about how much he's gonna rape her. But she remains unphased by his words, knowing their gonna hang him in a few days anyway. Normally when someone's hanged in Red Dead you hear the crowd express pity for them. For the Skinner guy, nothing, nobody feels bad for him.
