Amity woke up, tied to a chair. She looked around the dark room to see who was responsible for this.

"Who's there?! Show yourself so I can kick your ass!" Amity said, trying to get out of her bindings.

Two figures stepped into the light and Amity scowled.

"You." Amity sneered.

Amity looked at the pair with pure disgusted.

"Where is Luz?" She growled, "Where is she?!"

In another room, Luz was waking up, tied to a chair. Luz struggled against the rope and growled when she couldn't. She left her knife and staff in the Healer's tent.

"Come on Luz, you're resourceful, you can find a way out of this."

Luz looked at the rope and then remembered something. Her gloves have a fire glyph on them. She angled her wrist and pressed the glyph with her finger. A stream of fire burned the rope and she removed her hand from the burned rope. She quickly untied her left wrist and then her legs.

"Now to find Amity."

Amity looked at her kidnappers with pure distain.

"I knew you were horrible, but to kidnap your own daughter!? How low can you two get!?"

"Don't speak to your parents like that." Odalia said.

"Go to hell." Amity said.

"Such horrible language, did that Human teach you it?" Odalia asked, glaring at her daughter.

"Do you actually think that I'm like this because of Luz? How moronic are you?" Amity asked.

"Well, why else would you act like this?" Alador asked.

"Unbelievable. If you want to know why I'm like this, it's because you control every single part of my life!" Amity yelled.

"You're being ridiculous." Odalia said.

"You told me to breathe, exactly, twenty-five thousand times a day as opposed to the average twenty-two thousand."

"Well, you had to be better than everyone else." Odalia said, "Do you realize how bad you ruined our image? You are all over the news! The Emperor has put a bounty on you!"

"Back up a second and you'll find why I did this."

Alador and Odalia just looked at her. Amity groaned and glared at her parents.

"You don't actually care about your children, you only care about your image. You parade us around as if we were nothing but a first-place trophy! You don't care about our lives, you only care about a fake image that you think people care about!"

"That's not true." Odalia said, crossing her arms.

"You knocked me out, kidnapped me, and then tied me to a chair!"

Before either of them can retort, Alador was hit in the head by a bottle and knocked out. Odalia looked over and saw Luz. Luz put up her hand and pressed the glyph. She sent fire at Odalia, who barely dodged it. She fell to the ground and held her slightly burnt side. Luz walked over to her and grabbed the collar of her dress. Luz punched her in the stomach and tossed her against a wall. She ran over and the second Odalia hit the wall, Luz grabbed her by the neck. Odalia grabbed Luz's arm and tried to pull away. Her skin started changing color as she lost oxygen. Luz raised her fist and was ready to strike.

"Don't."

Luz growled when the voice spoke. She was tired of this game. She's not letting it mess with her anymore, she's going to ignore it and kill this whore.

"Luz! Don't! Don't stoop to her level!"

Luz sighed. The one person that can get her to when she is in killer mode. Luz dropped Odalia, who started breathing heavily. Luz looked at her.

"The only reason I don't snap your neck is because Amity doesn't want me too. If she wasn't here, I would've killed you."

Luz started to turn around to free Amity. Odalia stood up and leaned against the wall. She put her finger up and made a spell circle. She was surprised when Luz tuned around and caught her spell. Luz waved off the spell and walked back over to Odalia and grabbed Odalia's finger.

"In case you're wondering, my gloves are made of Witch's Wool. It was the only way I could've sewn in Fire Glyphs without them getting burned."

Luz quickly rotated her hand and a loud snap was heard. Odalia screamed and held her hand. Luz grabbed Odalia's collar again and pulled her close.

"The next time you mess with Amity, a broken finger will be the least of your worries."

Luz headbutted her and dropped her unconscious body. She walked over to Amity and untied her.

"Come on, let's go." Luz said.

At the castle, a still injured Boscha kneeled in front of the Emperor.

"I'm truly disappointed in you Boscha. I fully expected you to take BonesBorough, and what do I get told? You were forced to retreat and you were kissing the enemy."

"My Liege, I can-"

"Save it. You are dismissed, find a way to please me and maybe, and I do mean... Maybe... I won't petrify you."

Boscha got up and quickly walked out of the room. Belos stood up and walked into a side room. He grabbed a folder and looked through it for a few minutes before looking at a large map attached to the wall. He smiled under his mask and put a pin onto the map, right on BonesBorough.

"You have one week, then I'll manage to take BonesBorough." He said, looking through the folder again, landing on a picture of Luz from when they arrested her two years ago, "You're stubborn, just like your mother."

He put the folder away and walked back to the throne. He knew he would win this war, he had all the cards, all he had to do was play them correctly.

How does Belos know about Camilia? What is his plan? Why does he want Luz, alive? I'm taking a break; I'll be back on Wednesday. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
