Chapter 33
A month went by and this school year was way different than the previous year. Alex told Peter and Olivia, that Amanda had really matured. Actually they were all very focused, set goals, and were achieving them. The boys worked at the law office and the girls continued tutoring in the building. They all had straight A's.
Ms. Novak saw the girls in the hall, "Girls are you going to try out for basketball? They are at the end of October and games start November-March." They looked at each other and Kat shouted, "Yeah!" Amanda couldn't believe Kat was excited. When Ms. Novak walked away Amanda grabbed Kat, "Ummm why? We already have homework and tutoring. Why do we need something else?" Kat looked at her, "Amanda you love basketball and I think it would be fun to do something together."
Ever since Peter and Olivia told everyone they were pregnant, the crew decided to have one weekly family meal. Every Wednesday, Peter, Olivia, Amanda, and Lucy hosted a family dinner. Melinda, Fin, Kat, Dominick, Darius, Alex, and David all came over.
Alex and David started dating about a month ago after Amanda played matchmaker again. Olivia promised her a major ass tearing up with her belt if she ever did that again. "But mom it worked." Olivia rolled her eyes, "Amanda you were warned when you did it with Melinda and Fin, so technically I should be on your butt now. Cut it out, I mean it."
At dinner Kat was so excited to share the basketball news. "Liv and Melinda, we both need doctor's appointments." They both froze, because lately they were really on them about sex and being honest. They had a talk about birth control and visiting a GYN. "We are trying out for the basketball team! We need physicals." Kat handed Melinda the paperwork. Olivia looked at Amanda who seemed less excited. Peter and Fin were over the moon, "Girls, we will hit the gym over the weekend." The girls were still responsible for cleaning up after dinner, but on family night Lucy always helped.
Olivia was fresh out of the shower in front of the mirror. She turned to the side and saw her swollen belly. Peter came up behind her and kissed her gently on her neck. "Babe, my boobs hurt so bad, but I need you to fuck me tonight." Peter had been totally scared to have sex, even after Olivia talked to Dr. Roberts. He rolled his eyes, "Fine but you are on top."
Olivia went to say goodnight to Amanda. "Night baby!" Amanda climbed in bed, "Night mom!" Olivia kissed her, "So basketball huh?" Amanda looked at her, "Mom how did you know I wasn't excited? It's scary you can read me. I won't ever be able to hide stuff from you." Olivia sat down, "You want to hide stuff from me?" Amanda hugged her, "No. Basketball was something I did with my dad and I like playing it, but I'm worried it will bring up feelings that I push down." Olivia grabbed her chin, "Well try it, especially if you like it and if it brings up feelings, don't push them down, talk to me. I'll set up the appointment for your physical. Night baby."
Olivia shut her door and went to her room and closed their door. Peter was laying in bed on his iPad. She crawled slowly, pulling up his shirt and kissing his stomach, across and down to his sexy V leading to his erection. "Liv!" She grabbed his shorts and he was free. Olivia started sucking and hard. "Baby! Oh God!" Peter grabbed her and pulled her on top. Olivia slid down slowly all the way down. "Shit Liv! Your tight as fuck. You're squeezing me." Time was flying by and Thanksgiving was next week. Peter and Olivia were excited with every new doctor visit. She was six months pregnant and they were already decorating the room across from Amanda. Melinda, Alex, Lucy, and Amanda were all in charge of the baby shower and reveal party. It was going to be a joint event and Amanda was the only one who knew what the baby was.
Both girls made the varsity team and the first tournament was right after the Thanksgiving holiday. They had a few scrimmages and both of them were really good. The only drawback was they had to quit their tutoring service. The boys were still working everyday at the law office. They were all very busy with school, work, and practice. They still had fun on the weekends and even were allowed to hangout without an adult.
Melinda and Fin flew to Vegas two weeks ago. They only told everyone that it was a romantic getaway. They came back married and now Kat felt like she had a real mom and dad too.
Alex and David were hosting Thanksgiving dinner at their house. Alex still had her penthouse, but she stayed with David a lot. Things were definitely different.
Amanda sat at the kitchen table wrapping Dominick's birthday gift. He was turning 16 on Thanksgiving day. Darius and Dominick's family were coming to Thanksgiving dinner. She got him AirPods and Stainless steel and blue ion necklace. When she went to order his cake, she put in an order for a cake for the gender reveal since she was the only one who knew the gender.
Thanksgiving day was amazing! They were all one happy family. After dinner, they sang to Dominick and showered him with love and gifts. He even got a kiss with a lot of tongue. "We're getting really good at that. Amanda I love you!" Amanda blinked, "Dominick loving and trusting is so hard for me. Thank you for loving me and I love you too."
The girls tournament games were a success. They took 1st place and won a huge trophy. Amanda averaged a double-double with points and assists. Kat was a pure shooter and scorer. She was skinny, but her height also helped with rebounds. The gang watched from the stands, "MVP of this year's tournament is actually co MVP, Amanda Stone and Kat Tamin." Everyone cheered and they went out for a celebration dinner.
Finally it was Christmas break and all the kids got a break. They were sitting around before Olivia's baby shower began, Amanda fell on the couch in Dominick's arms. Kat sat in Darius' lap. Darius had a birthday the week before, "Darius how does it feel to be another year older." Amanda rolled her eyes, "I hate being the youngest." Kat patted her leg, "But you're our baby!" She just looked at them, "Whatever chumps."
They all laughed and Kat asked "Darius, isn't your mom was away working this week?" He shook his head, "How about we ditch the party and hangout together. Let's tell them we are going to a movie." Kat raised her eyebrows. They all agreed.
They all headed to the restaurant for the baby shower. Peter got the same restaurant with the bigger room as her birthday party. Olivia hugged Amanda, "Baby I love you and thank you for helping with all of this! And I love the shirt." Amanda smiled looking at the shirt Olivia gave her months ago.
Amanda was in charge of games and the gender reveal. Amanda didn't even know half the people. When they entered Kat and the guys helped give every guest five clothes pins, for a game. The idea was not to say the word "baby". If someone heard you say baby, they took a clothespin, the guest with the most clothespins won a gift card at the end.
The baby shower was starting and Amanda announced a game to play while they enjoyed eating. "Ok y'all this table has a pile of onesies and fabric markers. You decorate the onesie and whichever one she likes the most, wins the gift card. Good luck." The guest started grabbing onesies and drawing.
Next they passed out a diaper and permanent marker to each guest. Amanda went to the front, "Ok bring your onesie on up in front of Olivia. Mom, which one do you like? Olivia stood up to look. She saw a sun, moon, rainbow, #1 MOM, #1 DAD, It's a boy, It's a girl, but the winner was Nick's wife who drew a bright yellow duck floating in water. "I love this!" Amanda collected the shirts and gave away the gift card.
"Ok you all have a diaper and a marker, you get to write a funny quote, joke, words of encouragement, or anything creative on the back of the diaper. Then we will collect them so Peter and Olivia have inspiration during a late-night diaper change!" They ate and Amanda did several raffles during dinner and the gift opening.
Amanda had the cake brought out right in front of Peter and Olivia, while all the guests received a cake pop. Amanda held up her cake pop, "Ok mom and dad, I'm the only one who knows what's in your belly. You have a cake in front of you." The cake was a rectangular shaped cake with half pink icing and half blue icing. The top said He or She...CUT AND SEE. "Last gift card y'all, someone has the matching cake pop. So mom and dad you cut first, then we all can bite. The matching cake pop wins this 100 dollar Visa card.
Mom and dad I love you and I can't wait to be the best big sister in the world." Olivia pulled her around the table. Amanda stood in between Olivia and Peter. The photographer who had been taking pictures all day took a picture of the cake, then the three of them, and them cutting the cake. Olivia placed her hand on the knife, she then placed Amanda's hand on top of hers, and last Peter's hand on top. They cut the cake and Peter yelled, "It's a boy!" Everyone clapped and bit their cake pop, Captain Cragen won the gift card, but gave it to Olivia for the baby. Everyone had a blast.
"Mom can the gang go to the movie and the cafe near the house, please." Olivia wasn't sure, but Peter jumped in, "Sure, you all were amazing today, be home by 9 and text when you all are at the cafe." Olivia pulled Amanda close, "You did so good today, but you're hiding something. You want to tell me, before you get caught." Amanda looked at her, we're just going to hang out, that's it mom." Olivia kissed her forehead, "Thank you for today, be good, and have fun. I love you."
Amanda felt like a liar, but they all went to hang at the house. They picked up snacks and a pizza. Amanda sat on the couch and turned on the TV, so what are we watching? Kat turned it off, "Let's do something fun like play strip poker." Amanda stood up "No way!" Kat looked "Why not we're all friends?" Amanda knew it was wrong, they shouldn't do it.
Kat explained the rules and said they played it in the gambling club downstairs and she saw it when she served drinks. They played several rounds and Amanda only lost her shoes and socks. Darius lost his socks, shoes, hoodie, and shirt underneath. When Dominick lost the round before the one they were playing, he was left in his undershirt and boxers. When Kat was in her bra and panties and lost, Amanda knew it was bad, "Guys this is enough, let's stop." Kat broke down and ran in the bedroom.
"Guys I'll be back." Amanda grabbed Kat's shirt and went to comfort her, "Hey are you ok?" Kat cried on Amanda's shoulder, "I thought I was normal and therapy was helping." Amanda helped Kat in her shirt, "You are normal, I wouldn't want to show y'all my boobs." They laughed and Kat said, "We are going to be in trouble aren't we?" Amanda looked confused, "Please Amanda, you tell Liv everything." Amanda felt hurt until Kat jabbed her, "And I tell my therapist everything. We're like two old refrigerators."
Darius knocked, "Can I come in?" She knew Darius and Kat fooled around big time. They were way ahead of her and Dominick. "Amanda oh my gosh, he's kinda big." Amanda scrunched up her nose, "Thanks Kat that's just what I wanted to know about my best friend's boyfriend." Kat bit her lip, "We haven't had sex, don't worry." Amanda shook her head, because her and Dominick had only kissed. "Well I hope not, you need to be on birth control before something happens." Amanda smiled, "Well, I know who can cheer you up."
Amanda went out and shut the door and Dominick was sitting on the couch in his T-shirt and boxers. She went and straddled him, something she never did, but she had also never seen him in his boxers before. "Hey! What are you doing? Liv and Peter will kill me Amanda." She narrowed her eyes, "Do you wish you had someone like Kat? You know who's ready and let's you do things other than kiss." Dominick pulled her closer and kissed her and Amanda could feel Dominick under her. She moved her hands under his shirt and felt his body. Dominick stopped her, "I don't want anyone but you and even though my body reacts like it is now, I want to do something when you're ready. They're friends, but I don't want a comparison." Amanda looked at him, "Can I feel you?" He shook his head and Amanda rubbed her hands around his chest and felt his stomach. "You've got muscles." Amanda climbed off of him, she wasn't ready. "What are you going to do about that?" Dominick laughed, "I've got it and I need to get you home."
Dominick and Darius walked them home, then they headed home. When she walked in Peter and Olivia were on the couch watching TV. "Did you forget to text me at the cafe?" Peter asked. Amanda shut her eyes, "Yeah sorry dad." Peter shrugged, "Well at least you made up for it by coming home early." Olivia just eyeballed her, "Well I'm going to take a shower." She knew Olivia was on to her.
Amanda came out of the shower and Olivia was on her bed, "Mom you scared the crap out of me." Olivia just looked, "Spill it! What have you been doing?" Amanda told her everything. "First of all, I don't like the planning and the lying." Amanda agreed, "I know, but everyone calls me a baby, even you. Kat gives me a hard time because I tell you everything." Olivia looked at her, "Why do you tell me everything? Do I make you?" Amanda shook her head, "I tell you everything because I trust you and love you." Olivia smiled, "You're still a damn charmer."
Olivia kept talking, "I don't like the strip poker, I'm proud that Dominick stopped you. Baby why are you pushing to something you aren't ready for, what if he doesn't stop you the next time? Amanda Stone I will drag you to a doctor and put you on birth control. Kat should already be on birth control." Amanda just shook her head, "Amanda I have one more question. Did anything come out of those boxers?" Amanda fell back on the bed, "Mom!"
