DISCLAIMER: I do not own Dr. Stone! :)

To my awesome reviewers (21/02/21): Hello and ola, EclipsedSoull, PuppyCake, Apfane Chan, pikapika (Dio), Lupa Lazuli, GeneralLurker, Shiraneko-chan, Guest, and Animeloverforever1127! ^_^ Thank you so much and muito obrigada for reviewing the thirty-second chapter of No Stone Unturned! When the time comes... good luck, Ginro... XD Hahaha! Mission accomplished! :D Yup... Ginro's singing was enough to defeat both Kohaku and Kinro XD By the way, I find it extremely interesting that you mentioned Kinro being part of a hidden exchange without much talking... because, as a matter of fact, I HAVE planned a couple of (very short) scenes of Kinro being part of a hidden exchange without much talking O.o (How did you know?! O.o) But while one of those scenes will be coming up fairly soon, the other will be much later (but still in Season One) :) While it won't be anytime soon, the glass present will mentioned again in this story :D Looks like there are no impikators in sight! :P Punishing him for the singing might have discouraged him... even though his singing was SO annoying XD And what you said may have given me ideas... :D Mwahaha, you're not fooling me with this review - this time, I know you're NOT an impikator! :P Imagine Kohaku and Ruri explaining that glass sculpture to their father XD Thanks a lot! :D We'll continue to get glimpses of what they're up to... the Grand Bout is only weeks away! :O Senku and Kohaku, while being very nice people, also know how to inspire fear in others XD (Even though Kohaku didn't do it on purpose this time, haha!) And they'll find plenty of moments in this fanfic to talk to each other, for sure :D There are different conversations I have plans for, so we have those to look forward to! :) Thank you very much! :D Ah, so you have experience with confident, cheerful singing like Ginro's! XD Muito obrigada! :D He reassured her that her efforts mattered :) He knew she was a lioness from the very beginning :D I think Senku and Suika like each other very much! :) I hope all you enjoy this new chapter, and thank you again! ^_^

Chapter Thirty-Three: (S01 E11c) Glass Present (Days 11-13)

Senku smiled in satisfaction as he ran his hand over the newest addition to the camp, the glassblowing furnace. This was the eleventh day of their Grand Bout preparations, which meant that a third of the month of preparation time that they had had before had already passed, and they needed to achieve competency in glassblowing as soon as possible in order to progress to the next stage in their plans.

"Hey, Senku, Ganen and the others just left!"

He turned to see Chrome walking towards him, holding two thin metal pipes in his hands.

A few days ago, Senku, Chrome, and the others had stomped on mud – while listening to Ginro sing – which they had needed to build the glassblowing furnace. Senku had expected the mud stomping to take two days because they needed enough mud for both the furnace and for the dome-shaped cooling area in which they would store completed, but still warm, glass pieces.

However, he had not accounted for three extra people joining them in their efforts – and he also had not expected two of those people to be smashing the clay and dried straw in such extreme fits of irritation that they were twice as effective as everybody else. The mud had been stomped to the right consistency by nightfall.

After a day and a half of work and waiting time, they had their glassblowing furnace and glass cooling dome, leaving just enough time for them to get their last remaining ramen supplies and host one final iteration of Senku's Ramen Shop – at least, until they gathered more foxtail grass and all the rest of it once more – to melt iron tools they would need for glassblowing, such as two pipes Chrome was holding, as well as the actual glass they would be shaping.

Their ramen crew's efforts had finished only half an hour ago, and while they would have normally stayed collapsed on the ground until they had enough strength to get up again, the heat of the noonday sun must have stirred them out of unconsciousness and forced them to seek shelter in places where there were softer places to sleep.

Chrome held out one of the iron pipes to Senku. After taking it from him, Senku explained the two most basic steps in glassblowing – which, unsurprisingly, were to get glass on the edge of your pipe, and then to blow into said pipe.

They began.

Unfortunately, their results were less than stellar.

Senku's first try at glassblowing resulted in something that looked like a wide-brimmed hat, and Chrome had made some kind of long-necked creature. Kohaku and Suika, when they had come to see what the guys were doing, also tried glassblowing, and Kohaku created a five-footed slime monster, while Suika ended up with an otter with a pointy nose.

After they had all tried a few more times, they ended with a pile of misshapen glass – fit for a modern art museum, but not for a laboratory, and when Chrome heard that Senku had taken months to create simple earthenware pottery, he said he had an idea and dashed off into the village.

Kohaku knelt in front of their collection of failures.

"Even if we couldn't make pots out of them, this glass thing is still really pretty… it looks like ice that doesn't melt," she murmured, running her hands over the different pieces.

"Yeah! That one looks like poop!" Suika exclaimed, pointing at a particularly large lump in the middle.

Kohaku's hand paused briefly.

"…Maybe they're not all pretty- oh, this one is smaller than the others!"

Her hand disappeared behind her slime monster and grasped something. As Kohaku stood, Senku saw a piece of glass held between her fingers. She held it up to the sun to watch it sparkle, then blinked and brought it to eye level to look at it more closely before taking it to Senku.

"There's something inside – is this an insect wing?"

"Really?" he replied. "Let me see…"

As he took it from her, he noticed that the mocchi-sized piece of glass was slightly lumpy – it was probably what had remained on the glass pipe after they had finished their bigger attempts, and had slid down to ground and hardened. He inspected it closely like Kohaku had, and saw what she had meant.

"You're right," said Senku, turning the piece of glass this way and that. "It's probably a bee wing, judging by the size and shape."

"Oh…" Kohaku said with a mildly annoyed look, "bees…"

She blinked and shook her head.

"Would it be… okay if I give this to Ruri-nee? I'm sure she's never seen glass before, and she never gets to leave the village anymore…"

"Sure," nodded Senku, handing it back to her.

Kohaku grinned at him.

"Thanks, Senku!"

He shrugged again.

"It's not a problem. Besides, it was behind your slime mons-" he stopped, then continued, "-the first thing you made, so maybe it was from the last time you used one of the iron pipes, even if you did make it unintentionally."

"Can I see, Kohaku?" asked Suika with interest, walking over to both of them.

"Of course, Suika!" she smiled, handing it to the little girl. "I'll give it to Ruri-nee later. Do you think she'll like it?"

After looking at the piece of glass herself, Suika replied enthusiastically, "I think she'll love it!"

With that settled, Kohaku held the piece of glass and the three of them stood near the bridge, waiting for Chrome – but he took too long, and eventually Kohaku and Suika had to leave to work on different tasks.

Much later, Senku saw Chrome leading a tied-up man across the bridge.

What… is he doing…?

(End of Chapter Thirty-Three.) (21/02/21.)

I. My personal comments: Their attempts at making glass are my descriptions of their actual attempts in Episode Eleven :D They tried their best... :P

II. Question of the day: How do you feel about Kohaku's present for Ruri, and can you remember where you've seen it mentioned before this chapter? :D
