A/N: So I know some of you want this story to end…sometime. I don't know when or if it's going to. I'm just being completely honest, and if that's gonna kill your enjoyment of it, then I understand if you need to get off of this train. Here's the thing, there's at least two weddings, one renewal of the vows, A FREAKING TOUR OF ORION THAT WAS SET UP IN THE FIRST COUPLE OF CHAPTERS, dealing with Teddy, dealing with Orion, and that's just what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm not sure how many chapters they're in Hawaii. I did not set out to make this some huge epic, but I'll be damned if it didn't sneak up and make itself one. People keep asking, where's Casey? I have no idea, but you know me, he may grunt his way onto the page at any time.

So basically, you all know where this is heading, you know me, so if you bounce know, you'll bounce knowing these two kids are together, but there's a journey here that I've never been able to explore in other fics because…whatever reason. Thirty-three chapters…I get it, some of them are not long, but 33 chapters…and we've just kinda scratched the surface. I don't know when and where this ends, but it's gonna be a minute. If you're here for the ride, thank you. From the bottom of my heart. The last few chapters has been a deep dive into many characters, and while you aren't saying it out loud, I can feel it, what about Sarah, she's been kinda quiet during all of this. I think it's time she says some things.

Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck, pretty sure I sent it to WillieGarvin, or Joe Watkins, or Steampunk Chuckster…or did I?

"Are you sure you're ready for this, Sarah?" Chuck asked. "It's a big step."

"I trust you," Sarah replied.

"Should I go slow or-"

"No, if we're going to do it, then we do it, full speed ahead," Sarah told him, blowing out an anxious breath. Her hands wrapped around his torso.

"Don't forget protection," he said, as he slid his sunglasses down. She did the same and smiled at him.

"Do it," she said, breathily. Chuck grinned, turned forward, and hit the gas on the four-wheeler. The ATV took off across the sand, Sarah's arms wrapped tightly around him, her chin on his shoulder. The two laughed, thoroughly enjoying themselves. They stayed away from people, and after a bit, Sarah pointed at a secluded spot. Chuck nodded, and headed for it.

"Wanting to take me somewhere, and have your way with me?" Chuck asked, as he brought the four-wheeler to a halt at a rocky outcrop.

"I mean, I can do that anywhere, if we're being honest," Sarah told him, making him chuckle as she dismounted the four-wheeler. "I just thought it might be nice for us to watch the sunset, by ourselves, on those rocks. We can have a little talk."

"Did I squeeze the toothpaste wrong? Did I hang the toilet paper wrong? Do I gargle too loud?" Chuck began, worry on his features.

"No… well," Sarah paused. "Is it necessary to gargle to the Star Wars fanfare?"

"It's more to make sure I gargle long enough," Chuck replied. She had taken his hand, and was leading him to the outcropping, giving him a look and smiling the whole time. "Fine, I do it because I find it cool. You don't?"

"I don't, but I'm not asking you to stop," Sarah replied. "But can't you mix it up, some Indiana Jones or something?"

"My God, woman, are you sure you're not trying to seduce me?" Chuck asked, laughing. The two found spots to sit. Hers was between his legs, his arms wrapped around her, the two watching the sun slowly sink.

"I don't have to try," Sarah told him, turning her head to the left where his was, over her shoulder. She grinned at him. "It's sort of easy."

"Pfffth," Chuck replied. "Whadda you mean, sort of?" Sarah burst out into laughter. "So, seriously… you drag me out here to talk about how easy I am?"

"No, we can talk about how easy you are, anywhere," Sarah began.

"For the record: not one bit ashamed of it," Chuck added.

"For the record, I'm glad," Sarah replied. "No, I dragged you out here to knock some damn sense into your skull." Chuck pulled back, surprised. "Chuck, you have family, you have friends, and you are not in this fight with Teddy alone."

"I never thought I was," Chuck told Sarah. "But I do think Dad and I need to talk, one on one, first. And if that doesn't work, then we go nuclear… we all go to mom."

"Or we could all talk to your mom now," Sarah countered. Chuck shook his head. "Chuck-"

"Sarah, I get it. I really do. But Teddy has run roughshod over my life, and I didn't even know it," Chuck began. "He lost everything, and then his response was to do whatever evil thing he had to in order to make sure it never happened again. He's a bit like Scarlet in Gone with the Wind."

"As God is my witness, as God is my witness, they're are not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this, and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat, or kill, as God is my witness I'll never be hungry again." Sarah quoted.

"Wow," Chuck said, taken aback. "Did you do a study on her, or something?"

"No, I just remember when I read the book-" Sarah began.

"Wait, the book?" Chuck asked. "You didn't watch the movie?"

"The book is always better, Chuck… always."

"God you are so hot," Chuck muttered. Sarah shrugged, making him tickle her stomach. She smacked him on the shoulder to get him to stop.

"As I was saying, before you so just now realized my hotness," Sarah continued.

"I did not just realize your hotness," Chuck objected. "A blind man could see your hotness."

"Blinded by love," Sarah said, sticking her tongue out at him.

"Are we going to banter, or are you going to tell your story?"

"You're just mad because I'm winning," Sarah informed him.

"Fine, you're winning. But from where I'm sitting, losing is just fine with me."

"God you're so easy," Sarah said, chuckling.

"We have established that fact," Chuck pointed out.

Sarah pushed her hair back, laughing. "Okay… so, after reading it and seeing that line from the film, it just made me think how some people will do whatever it takes, at whatever the cost, to never be in a certain spot again. How that fear drives them."

"And that's what Teddy is using," Chuck said, nodding. "Damn, hot and smart. How'd I get so lucky?"

"May I point out how smart and hot you are?" Sarah asked. Chuck looked away, his cheeks pinking. "What? It's okay for you to shower me with compliments, but when I point out how my hot, smart, and very talented boyfriend is amazing, you get all embarrassed?"

"Before you, no one has ever seen me that way," Chuck replied, shrugging.

"Maybe before me, no one told you that. But I guarantee you, others saw it. I know Hannah did," Sarah said.

"No, she didn't," Chuck replied. Sarah arched an eyebrow. "Really?"

"Chuck, trust me. There are many women who think I am quite lucky," Sarah told him.

"Well, I think I'm quite lucky to have you," Chuck told her. She pecked him on the lips. "I love you."

"And I, you. And you need to know I am here, we are here; you just need to let us in," she reminded him.

"I hear you," Chuck told her.

"Okay," Sarah said, turning back to watch the sunset. Chuck held her tight, thanking God how lucky he really was.

"You must be Chuck Bartowski," said a man with an English accent as he walked up. He looked like he needed a shave.

"Depends," Chuck said in a serious voice. "Do I owe you money?" The man began to laugh. "Chuck Bartowski," Chuck said, offering his hand to the man.

"Cole Barker," he replied, shaking Chuck's hand. "I think you met my husband yesterday."

"I did," Chuck replied. "And I'd like to apologize for dragging him away, and him buying me lunch."

"Nonsense," Cole replied. "If anything, I owe you a round of beers for putting up with Jill and her damn nonsense." Cole looked around, and leaned in. "Would you do me a favor, and try and have your two friends at the luau tonight? After Bryce told me what happened, I would like to talk to them."

"I can just about guarantee one of them will be there… Molly," Chuck told Cole. "If there's a party, she's down. Zondra, on the other hand… I just don't know."

"What don't you know about me?" he heard her say. Chuck turned and saw her a few steps away, grinning. "I told you I'm in a relationship, and you shouldn't leave your girlfriend for me."

"I thought you were the tame one of the group," Chuck said, as she walked up.

"Nah, you broke in the tame one already," Zondra told him, watching his eyes widen as she grinned. "I'm Zondra. What terrible lies has he told you about me?"

"Cole Barker," Cole replied. "I'm one of the ones you watched get married, and all he's done is talk about what a wonderful, top notch job you've done with this conference."

Zondra beamed. "Wait… aren't you on the board?"

"I am, and we all feel that way… except Guy… and who knows what he really feels? Unless Jill is there to tell him what to do, we're not sure Guy can tie his shoes," Cole said, smirking.

"Damn," Zondra said in a low tone. "I like him."

"So do I," Chuck said. "They wanted you to be at the luau tonight."

"Why would I not be at a party?" Zondra asked. Chuck gave her a look. "Fine, I've been a bit… irritated…" she trailed off as Chuck gave her a look. "Fine. A lot irritated."

"Yeah, but that's your default setting," Chuck told her. She glared at him. "Too far?"

"No," Zondra said, shaking her head and sighing. "It's not."

"Bryce and I would just like to talk to you and Molly," Cole said, in an attempt to gently to get back to the point. Truly, though, he was enjoying the show in front of him. "We've been… are, where you two are, and we wished there was anyone that we could talk to that really understood what we're going through."

"Let's be honest; I can't, Zondra," Chuck admitted.

Zondra gave him a look and shook her head. "He doesn't," Zondra said to Cole. "But damn, he tries."

"He does," Cole replied, smiling at the two.

"Oh thank God I found you!" Carina said, running up to Chuck.

"I've told you that I am off the market, Missy," Chuck replied, typing some things into his laptop. He looked up at Carina, and swallowed. "That was too far."

"Probably," Carina admitted. "But we have a computer problem now, so…" Carina grabbed his hand, pulling him toward one of the rooms.

"If the room is empty and you slam the door and shut me in there with you, I probably deserve it," Chuck muttered, making Carina laugh.

"You're not that lucky," Carina told him. She led him into the room and back where the computer was located. "Okay, Bryce, I got him."

"I think I got it," Bryce told them, looking up. "Hey, Chuck, sorry. I know a few things, emphasis on few." Bryce walked him through what he had done.

"That's exactly what I'd have done," Chuck told Bryce.

"Great," Carina said rolling her eyes. "Two geeks."

"Nerds," both said, simultaneously. They looked at each other, and grinned.

"You okay?" Sarah asked later, in their hotel room. Chuck was ready for the luau, and Sarah was just finishing up.

"Yeah, worried Carina's gonna try and give me a lei, just to mess with me," Chuck replied.

Sarah stopped, and studied him. "I know your I'm worried about Carina face, and that is not your, I'm worried about Carina face."

Chuck shook his head. "I'm being paranoid," Chuck said.

There was a knock on the door, and Sarah went to open it. "They're clean," Molly said, opening the door as Zondra followed her. Sarah gave her a look, and Molly shrugged. "You told me to check them out."

"Check who out?" Chuck asked.

"Bryce and Cole," Zondra said, sitting beside Chuck. She slapped him on the leg, watching him sit up quickly and rub it.

"Why would you do that?" Chuck asked.

"Because, after everything you have been through, we didn't want anyone else trying to screw you over," Zondra told him.

"No, I get that. I meant the smacking of my leg." Chuck whined.

"That was for the irritated comment, earlier," Zondra told him.

"Wait, you're not mad that we checked out your… well… new friend?" Sarah asked. Chuck was silent a moment and she began to laugh. "Oh my God! That's what you were worried about." Chuck looked away. Molly came over, plopped on Chuck's lap, and gave Zondra a kiss.

"What are you doing?" Chuck asked.

"There's not enough room on the couch for all four of us, you're being stupid embarrassed, and I wanna kiss my girl," Molly said, with a shrug. "Chuck, after what you've been through, I wouldn't be shocked if you didn't have a background check run on Sarah."

"Never!" Chuck said.

"Technically, you did, sir," Three Pee Oh chirped.

"Three Pee Oh," Chuck said in a warning tone.

"Right after he left the Bartowski home and went dark, he pulled up all information on Mistress Sarah," the app droned on. Chuck groaned.

"Chuck, you did the right thing," Sarah told him. "The spot they had you in, and then there I was… Baby, I understand." She grinned at him. "I mean, you did read my whole dissertation."

"It was really intriguing," Chuck said, smiling at her.

Molly reached over and grabbed Zondra's face. "I learned so much about the woman behind the work," she said in a dramatic voice.

Zondra grabbed Molly's face. "You looked into my soul, when no one else would," Zondra responded, just as dramatically.

Sarah rushed over and helped Chuck shove Molly off his lap into Zondra, causing the two to go sprawling across the couch. "I really hate them," Sarah muttered.

"No, you don't," Chuck said softly.

Sarah looked at her sister and friend, laughing and holding each other. "You're right, I don't. But they are annoying as hell."

The door flew open. "Think we can rig up one of those online chastity belts, Curls?" Carina asked, bounding in. Sarah and Chuck gave each other a look, and shook their heads.

"It's not what you think," Carina said to Chuck and Sarah a little later, at the luau. "One of those guys in my training today called me an SJW. I thought I would take him to my room, promise him a little somethin'-somethin' if he put it on, and then…"

"Jesus," Sarah said, trying not to laugh. "If he put it on, he deserves whatever happens to him."

"They okay?" Carina asked, nodding toward the foursome of Cole, Bryce, Molly, and Zondra. Chuck gave her a look. "What? I am not heartless, you know."

"Oh, I know that. We all know that. The question is… did you know that?" Chuck asked her. Carina shrugged. Chuck sighed, and turned to his girlfriend. "So, do you have a guy who does background checks?"

"I mean, computer-wise, I would normally have you do it. But I wanted something done really deep, so dad knows a guy that used to be… I don't know, military, or something. He knows people. All I know is dad did something for him, and ever since then anytime dad needs something like that, he makes a call and it's done."

"I hate you had to waste a favor for me," Chuck said, sighing.

"Hey," Carina said, smacking the table, making Chuck jump. "Don't you worry about anyone wasting any favors. He owes me plenty of favors." Chuck's eyes widened. Carina winced and leaned in. "So, over the years, our friend is not the best at… relationships."

"He grunts a lot," Sarah said. Carina gave her a look. "What?" she asked, with a shrug. "He does."

"I like the way he grunts," Carina replied.

"I don't know if I'm old enough to hear this story," Chuck muttered.

"Anyway, his mom really wishes he had someone, so…" Carina looked away, a touch of pink on her cheeks.

"Oh. My. God," Chuck muttered.

"Shut. Up," Carina told him.

"You go with this guy to his mom's, to make him think he has a girlfriend?" Chuck asked.

"Yes," Carina said in a clipped tone. "I do."

Chuck was struggling to keep a straight face. "You don't wear an engagement ring or anything, do you?"

Carina started to answer, and then was silent. She reached down, grabbed her drink and took a sip. Sarah sat up, her eyes wide. "Carina, you don't!"

"It was my idea," Carina told them. "It was getting to the point where we were going to have to tell her the truth or 'break up'," she said, using finger quotes. "Johnny was gonna do the right thing; his words, not mine," she muttered. Carina shook her head. "He was so damn nervous."

"John Casey, Mr. Big Tough Guy," Sarah said, trying not to laugh. "He was scared of his mother."

"Listen, that woman may be four-foot-eleven, but by God, she knows how to use every single inch," Carina told them. Chuck was howling with laughter.

"Okay, okay, so, you have to break up with him soon thought, right?" Chuck asked. Carina wouldn't look at him. "How long have you two been… engaged?"

"Two years," Carina said softly. "The wedding is in the summer."

"Carina!" Sarah said. Carina looked away. "You have to end this!"

"I know," Carina told them. "I know, but I don't want to break her heart."

"What are you gonna do? Marry him, wait until she dies, and then divorce him?" Chuck asked, teasingly. Carina picked up her glass and quickly took a drink. Chuck's eyebrows nearly shot off his head. "Carina!"

"I mean, what's the big deal?" Carina asked.

"Wouldn't she notice if you didn't live in the same house," Sarah pointed out. Carina looked away again. "Carina!"

"Johnny is very neat," Carina said.

"Carina, you enjoy young men's company," Chuck pointed out. "Don't you think that if she calls looking for you one night, that might blow it?"

"I've thought of that," Carina said. "And I will live there, and not be with other men."

"Carina…" Sarah said, but couldn't finish the sentence.

"You're gonna be celibate, until you divorce him?" Chuck asked.

"I didn't say any of that," Carina told them. Chuck looked at Sarah, confused, and then it hit them both at the same time. "Why the hell am I telling any of you any of this stuff?"

"Wait, you and John… John Casey… I can't even finish that sentence," Sarah muttered.

"I told you I liked the way he grunts," Carina admitted.

"Carina… do you have feelings for this guy?" Chuck asked. She barely nodded, but Chuck saw it. "Then why not just tell him?"

"Because every time I try, I get… I can't," she told him. "I haven't seen any guy but Johnny in over six months. And when I did before that… it just felt… wrong."

"Oh. My. God," Sarah muttered. "Why the hell didn't you tell me?"

"I was ashamed."

Sarah stood, walked over, pulled the redhead up, and pulled her into a hug. "If he makes you happy, then I'm happy, Carina."

"I was never supposed to meet the forever guy, you know?" Carina said, her arms wrapped around Sarah. "And certainly not Johnny."

"Why Johnny?" Chuck asked her, sincerely.

"He makes me feel things," Carina admitted.

"There you go," Chuck said with a shrug. "But, does he deserve you?"

"No one deserves me, Chuck," Carina said. Chuck thought about what she said, then stood, walked over, and tapped Sarah on the shoulder. Sarah gently transferred Carina to Chuck.

"I don't know what the hell happened to make you think that," Chuck said softly. "But you do deserve the best. Never forget that." She nodded, and buried her head into his shoulder, crying.

A/N: Or maybe I do know where Casey is at….what? Oh…you think I have another chapter already written and I'm gonna give you a teaser….fine.

"No idea," Zondra admitted. "Those two could get married tomorrow…or…" she shrugged.

"Do they love each other?" Chuck asked.

"Yes," Zondra said. "It's weird, it's complicated, it's messy, but they do."

"Zondra, who's love life isn't weird, complicated, and messy?" Chuck asked her.

"What the hell are you doing to my sister in that bedroom?" Molly asked, making Chuck turn red.

"He told you, weird, complicated, and messy," Sarah shot back.

"OH!" Zondra said, her mouth open. "OH! Sister on sister crime right there!"

*spits out drink* Good lord, what's gonna happen next? You think I know? Reviews, PMs, whatevs.
