Chapter 33
Abby dropped a few books in the cardboard box, "I'm still shocked at Harrison being a cop!"
"Shit! Me too." Olivia said, taping up the box. "Not just any cop. He's a fucking detective."
"I thought you knew everything about him." Abby said.
"I did too." Olivia said, taking more books off the shelf, dropping them inside the box. "I'm still baffled he hid it from me.
Abby shook her head, "damn how did he keep a secret like that from you."
"While I was away at school, he went to the academy and trained as a cop. He worked in a completely different district than he lived. He mapped it all out." Olivia shrugged "I just figured he was hanging out with drug dealers."
"Damn he's good." Abby said, writing the word 'books' on the box with a black marker.
"Oh, and Alyssa is pregnant." Olivia said.
"Shut the fuck up!" Abby shouted, dropping to the couch.
"Yeah." Olivia said.
"Do you think he'll move to DC?" Abby asked.
"I doubt it. I'm sure Harrison will convince Alyssa to move to New York."
"Wow…Harrison is a fucking detective and about to be a father. Shit just got real." Abby laughed.
Olivia laughed. "Too real if you ask me."
"How is Fitz?" Abby asked, pouring red wine in a glass.
Olivia smiled. "He's fine." She slid a piece of clear tape across the box. "He's trying to restore the Grant name with the lawyers from the firm."
"I know. Stephen said he's stressed to the max."
"Yeah he is. I try to de-stress him when he comes home."
"TMI bestie…TMI." Abby chuckled.
Olivia laughs.
Abby swirled the red wine in her glass. "Do you ever sit and think how much your life has changed?"
"Yes. All the time." Olivia answered.
Abby crossed her legs and pulled Olivia in for a hug. "I'm so happy for you, bestie. You're getting married. I can't wait." Abby said.
"I can't wait either. I'm marrying the love of my life." Olivia said.
"Did you ever hear back from Makayla?" Abby asked, rolling her eyes.
"She told me she didn't want to be a bridesmaid and she hasn't sent her RSVP back for the wedding. I've tried reaching out to her but no response." Olivia said.
Abby shrugged. "Liv, give it up. You're working more at the friendship than she is. Maybe she doesn't know how to tell you the friendship is over."
"Maybe you're right." Olivia said.
The buzzer rang loudly throughout the apartment. Abby ran over to the small panel on the wall and pressed the button. "Who is it?"
"Your hot lover and food." Stephen stated.
Fitz chuckled.
Abby pressed the buzzer, opening the door, peeking her head out in the hallway.
Fitz and Stephen walked inside, carrying two boxes of pizza and brown bags. "Pizza, salad, dessert, and drinks." Stephen said, placing the boxes on the counter.
"Smells good." Olivia said, walking over to the pizza box, lifting it. "I'm starving."
Fitz glanced around the apartment, noticing the scattered brown boxes. "Baby are you packing?"
"Yeah, why?" Olivia said.
Fitz removed a slice of pizza and placed it on a plate. "The movers are coming in the morning."
She pecked his lips. "I know. I wanted to pack a few things before they came."
"They're getting paid a lot of money to move the both of you, so leave some work for them." Stephen blurted out.
"I still can't believe we're moving." Olivia said, turning toward Abby.
Abby relaxed her back against the couch, "remember when we first moved here. We didn't have shit. Just a few things from our college dorm rooms."
Olivia sipped her drink. "I know. What about our first girl's night? We were so drunk. We had a lot of good times here."
"Yeah, plenty of good times." Abby said, holding up her glass, clinking it with Olivia's. Abby wiped a tear that had formed in the corner of her eye.
Olivia noticed right away and asked. "Abs, are you ok?"
"These are happy tears, Liv. We've come so far. Gosh…do you remember the many nights I cried over David and I drunk myself stupid?"
"Yup and now look at you." Olivia said.
"Yeah. Remember the night I locked Edison out because he was being a real asshole to you." Abby giggled.
Olivia laughed. "Oh shit…yes. He was standing in the hallway in his boxers."
"I still don't know what you saw in him." Abby said.
Stephen interrupted them, bringing the pizza boxes to the table in front of the couch. "Enough of going down memory lane and talking about ex-boyfriends."
Fitz pecked Olivia on the neck before sliding down on the floor next to her. "I don't want to hear about Edison in his boxers."
"Sorry, baby." Olivia said, grabbing her glass of red wine.
He whispered in her ear, "a few more days until I make you my wife."
Olivia brought the slice of pizza to her mouth with a smile. "Mmmmhmmmm."
"Can we go over the wedding timeline?" Abby asked, opening the pizza box for another slice. "I feel like my head is about to explode."
Fitz sucked in Olivia's bottom lip, tasting the red marinara sauce with his tongue.
"Focus, Liv. The wedding timeline." Abby stated, patting Olivia's leg.
"Ok…Ok. The bridal shower is this weekend. Diana and my mom planned it and I'm just showing up. Nothing else to worry about except the big day. James is on it. Anything else you need?" Olivia asked.
"Did you decide on the honeymoon location?" Abby asked.
"Fitz is taking care of it."
Fitz pulled Olivia on his lap. "It's a surprise."
"Just don't come back pregnant. I'm not ready to be an aunt." Abby said.
"My birth control is in tip top shape, so that won't be happening. What will be happening is a lot of sex." Olivia stressed.
"Every day…all day." Fitz chimed, kissing Olivia.
Abby threw a pillow at Olivia. Fitz quickly caught it with his left hand, chuckling.

The next morning was bitter sweet for Olivia. She watched as the movers removed everything she owned from the apartment.
"That's a wrap." Abby said, high fiving Olivia, moving toward the door.
"I need a minute." Olivia said, walking through the empty apartment. Tears began to stream down her face as she vigorously wiped them from her cheeks.
"Liv, what's wrong?" Abby asked, walking toward her.
Olivia stood with her back against the wall and slid down to the floor. "This is it, Abs."
Abby scooted down in front of her. "Are those happy tears?"
Olivia's shoulders began to move up and down and a slight wail escaped her lips. "A combination of happy and sad tears."
Abby took her hand in hers. "You're getting married to the most handsome, kind, and caring man in the world. This is a good thing, bestie."
"I know." Olivia said, standing when she heard the door creak open. She looked up and met the most warm, blue eyes. Concern etched across Fitz's face when he saw tears in her eyes. He swiftly moved to her, lifting her from the floor. "What's wrong?" He asked, wiping the tear from her cheek.
"Just taking it all in." She answered.
"Anything I can do to make you feel better?" He asked.
"Baby, you've done more than enough. Let's go home." She said.
"I like the sound of that." Fitz smiled, linking his hand with hers as they walked out the apartment.
Stephen lifted Abby's hand and kissed the back of it, following Olivia and Fitz.

Olivia turned in Fitz's arms, her breasts touched his prickly chest hairs, sending a shiver down her spine. He immediately captured her lips, moaning softly against them. She could feel his erection between her legs, swelling and hard. A soft moan escaped her lips. "Baby, we can't."
Before she could utter another word, Fitz hovered over her, whispering. "We can."
His knee pressed against her leg and she opened her legs wider as he slipped inside her.
"Fuck." He groaned with his first stroke. "So tight."
"So goooooood." Olivia crooned, wrapping her legs around his waist.
Olivia's phone vibrated on the night stand. She ignored it.
Fitz's phone vibrated. He ignored it.
Both of their phones continued to vibrate non-stop.
Fitz flipped them over, giving Olivia the control, she craved. Circling her hips, moving up and down, her tight pussy sucked every inch of him. Sweat poured from their foreheads as they passionately made love to each other. Minutes later they collapsed in each other's arms. Olivia let out an exasperated sigh. "I'm going to be late."
Fitz kissed her plump lips, as she eased off of him. Satisfied by their morning routine, he placed both hands behind his head. "I love having you in my bed every morning." He said reaching over on the nightstand for his phone. He tossed it on the bed toward Olivia. "Abby."
Olivia sat on the edge of the bed, glancing at her phone. She had twenty missed calls from Abby. She didn't listen to the messages, she already knew Abby was losing her shit because Olivia was late for the bridal shower spa day.
"You made me late." Olivia said, tossing a pillow at Fitz.
He chuckled and watched her sway inside the bathroom. "Can I join you?"
Olivia looked over her shoulder and rolled her eyes. Fitz smiled, quickly jumping off the bed and rushed toward the door. Olivia was faster than his steps and closed the door, turning the lock. "I'm already late Mr. Grant."
Olivia emerged from the shower, jetting inside the closet. She lifted a navy-blue sweater over her head and slipped on a pair of blue skinny jeans with her black Louboutin boots. Fitz leaned against the door frame of the closet, glancing at the transformation of his closet. "This used to be my closet."
Olivia laughed. "Well you asked me to move in."
"I did, but I thought we were going to share the closet not move my stuff out of it." He chuckled.
Olivia grinned, kissing him on the cheek. "Your clothes are in the second bedroom. It's fine."
Fitz phone buzzed again. "Should I?" He asked Olivia.
Olivia slid her finger across the screen. "I'm on my way." She shouted in the phone to Abby, hanging up before Abby could say another word.
Fitz walked Olivia to the door, kissing her. "There's a surprise downstairs."
"Fitz." Olivia said.
"Have fun." He said, gently patting her ass and pushing her out the door before she could question him.
Olivia walked out of the lobby, smiling when she saw the black stretched limo waiting for her. She stepped inside the limo and rested her head against the headrest, slowly closing her eyes. The exhaustion from her morning routine with Fitz was slowly catching up with her. The limo came to a halt in front of the Mandarin Oriental Spa. She fluttered her eyes open as the limo driver, helped her out of the vehicle. She stepped on the red carpet lined with her bridal party…Abby, Quinn, Lavon, and Yasmeen. Olivia smiled as she took steps on the red carpet, receiving red roses from each one of her friends. Her mother and Diana stood at the entrance of the spa, holding a handful of roses.
"I'm sorry about being late." Olivia said, hugging her mother, then Diana.
She hugged Abby tight and whispered. "You interrupted my morning sex with Fitz."
"I knew it." Abby giggled.
Olivia followed Abby inside the spa. "Where's Emily?"
"She's coming, her flight is running late." Diana answered.
"Ok. I need to talk to her when she gets here."
Diana waved her hand in the air. "This is your day. Don't ruin it, by bringing up Gerry."
Olivia was concerned about her relationship with Emily. She hadn't spoken to her since Gerry's arrest.
The spa attendant met them at the entrance. "Hi I'm Jasmine. Where's the bride to be?"
"Right here." Olivia said, raising her hand.
"Perfect. These two lovely ladies rented out the entire spa for you and your bridal party. Today we will start with our 'Let it Glow 24K full body exfoliation.' It includes the application of a 24- carat gold infused sugar scrub with a hot stone back massage, our signature manicure and pedicure. Please feel free to use all of the amenities such as our sauna, heated pool, and gym. Dinner will be served in the Presidential Suite, where you ladies will reside for the evening."
"Wait, did you say 24 carat gold?" Quinn asked.
"Yes." Jasmine answered.
Olivia looked around and was excited to see her bridesmaids smiling. She knew the sudden change in the wedding date disrupted a lot of their plans. She wanted to give Fitz the Fall wedding he desperately deserved. Over the past year, he'd granted her every wish and she wanted to do the same. James worked overtime, delivering on all of her requests. Abby and Stephen were crushed with the news because they couldn't plan the lavish bachelor and bachelorette party in Las Vegas. Olivia was thrilled she could give everyone a little dose of the happiness she felt.

"O…M…G…that was the shit!" Abby said, sipping her lavender orange mimosa.
"I know right. Look at how my skin is glowing." Quinn said.
"I'm going to save up my money and come back here." Lavon said.
Olivia eyed Emily as she walked inside the pool area in a bright red bathing suit. They were sitting on lounge chairs in front of the pool, sipping mimosas. Emily quickly waved at Olivia before settling on one of the lounge chairs.
"Abby give me a second." Olivia said, easing off the chair.
She walked over to Emily and sat on the edge of the lounge chair. "Hey, Ems."
"Hey, Liv." Emily said.
"Can we talk?" Olivia asked.
"About?"
"Your dad. I'm sorry about how everything happened. I wanted to tell you and Fitz, but I couldn't." Olivia blurted out.
Emily twisted her neck, turning toward Olivia. "Do you think I give a shit about my father?"
Olivia took a few steps back. "What?"
"Olivia, my father has always been an asshole. He got what he deserved. For the record, I haven't visited him or tried to get in contact with him. Honestly, I don't care. My life has been so much better since he's been locked up. He can't harass me about becoming a lawyer and remind me how I'm such a disappointment to the Grant name because I chose my own path. If you want to continue to have a pity party for him go right ahead, but as for me. Fuck him."
Olivia was baffled, "I wasn't sure if I'd ruined our relationship."
"You're marrying my brother. You're the love of his life. That's what matters to me. As long as you stay true to him. I'll always have your back." Emily smiled, reaching out her arms and embraced Olivia.
X
After their day of pampering, Abby blindfolded Olivia as they headed to the Presidential Suite for the evening. Olivia could hear her friends giggling and whispering behind her and she wondered what they were up to. "Shhhhhhh." Abby said, covering her mouth, stifling her laugh. She opened the door, pulling Olivia inside the room, and shouted. "Surprise!"
Abby quickly removed the blindfold and Olivia adjusted her eyes, glancing at the room filled with decorations. Laughing, Olivia pulled down one of the many pink penis balloons floating from the ceiling. She walked around the room, chuckling at all of the decorations, including a poster size picture of Fitz, with the title, 'Pin the dick on Fitz.' She turned and said, "This has Abby written all over it!"
Abby raised her hand, "Guilty." She handed Olivia a cup filled with pink liquid. "Drink up."
Olivia sipped the drink and lifted the penis stirrer from the cup, giggling, "really?"
Quinn placed a white Bride-to-be sash over Olivia's head.
"Welcome to your bachelorette party." Lavon said.
"There better not be a stripper." Olivia said.
Abby smirked.
Olivia picked up a few pieces of candy from the dish on the table and flung it at Abby. "I'm serious Abs."
"What if it was Fitz?" Abby asked.
Olivia sucked in her bottom lip, pointing to her friends. "He can strip for me but not you bitches."
"I don't want to see my brother naked…Ewwww." Emily said, connecting her phone to the Bluetooth system. "Let's get this party started."
Music blasted from the speakers as they moved around the room, shaking and grinding their hips to the various beats. The dining room table was filled with all of Olivia's favorite foods and snacks. After several rounds of alcoholic drinks and food, they settled on the floor.
"Bring on the games." Yasmeen slurred, eyeing Abby.
Abby guzzled down the clear liquid in her shot glass. "Ok. The first game is two truths and a lie. Make it interesting and sexy, nothing boring. I'll go first. I had a threesome, kissed a girl, and danced naked in front of the library in college."
"Damn!" Emily said, twirling the liquid in her glass "this is a hard one because you're a freak, Abby and you probably did all of them."
Abby laughed, pouring another shot of Tequila.
"I'll answer!" Quinn volunteered, holding up her hand.
"Go ahead." Abby said.
"The threesome is a lie."
"Hmmmmmm." Abby said, leaning her chin on her hand. "You're right."
"Really? I definitely pegged you as someone who had a threesome." Emily said.
"I remember when you danced in front of the library naked. It was because of that stupid dare from Eric." Olivia chimed.
Abby nodded with a smile.
Emily guzzled dipped her chip inside the guacamole. "Ok, my turn. I love white wine, I'm having sex with one of my brother's friends and he doesn't know it, I made over a million dollars last year from my coffee shop."
"I'll answer. Abby shouted. "You're definitely not having sex with one of Fitz's friends. That's a lie."
"I hate white wine." Emily laughed.
Olivia held up her hand. "Wait…you're sleeping with one of Fitz's friends?"
"Who, tell us? Inquiring minds want to know." Quinn grinned.
Emily crossed her legs, resting her elbows on her knees. "Marcus."
"He's in Atlanta." Olivia said.
"Fitz isn't the only one with access to the private jet. BOOM!" Emily said, making her hands like a bomb exploded.
"O…M…G…" Olivia squealed. "Is the sex good?"
"I don't kiss and tell." Emily giggled.
Olivia sank deeper in the couch, laughing.
"Liv you're up." Abby said, handing Olivia a shot glass filled with Tequila.
"Damn, let me think…Ok I got it! I was a virgin when I met Fitz, I threw up on my history professor in college, I kissed Harrison in high school."
"You ain't kiss Harrison." Lavon blurted out. "That's a lie."
"Correct." Olivia said.
"You threw up on your history professor. What the hell!" Yasmeen said.
"He wanted to see me after class about an assignment I hadn't turned in. I told him I wasn't feeling well and I would turn it in as soon as possible. He kept going on and on about the assignment being late and I tried to tell him I needed to leave. Next thing I knew, all of my lunch was coming up and it landed on his pants and shoes."
"Gross." Lavon said.
"I tried to warn him." Olivia said.
"Hold up…that's some nasty shit, but did I just hear that you were a virgin when you met my brother?" Emily asked.
"You didn't know?" Olivia questioned.
"I don't talk to Fitz about his sex life. Didn't you have a boyfriend before Fitz?" Emily asked.
"I did but we never had sex. A lot of dry humping." Olivia answered.
"You held out that long? Shiiitttttt, kudos to you but I could never." Emily said.
"Are you sure you want one penis for the rest of your life, Olivia? Did you ever think about getting some experience before settling down?" Yasmeen asked, dipping a chip inside the bowl of salsa.
"I've gotten a ton of experience with Fitz." Olivia answered.
"Fitz has a lot of swag. I'm sure he's seasoned in the bedroom. I wonder if he's been taking things slow since you were a virgin. I bet he'll take it to another level on the honeymoon." Lavon said, high fiving Yasmeen.
Olivia placed her hands on her hips and smirked. "What kind of level? We do a lot in the bedroom."
"What about anal?" Lavon shouted, guzzling down the clear liquid in her shot glass.
Emily extended her hand in front of her chest. "Okkkkkkk. I'm not discussing my brother having anal sex with Olivia. Nope…not happening. End of conversation!" Emily slurred, falling back on the couch.
"Damn one dick for the rest of your life. You sure that's what you want?" Yasmeen asked, shaking her head.
"Yes, I'm sure. Let's leave it at that." Olivia huffed.
Abby stood, noticing Olivia's uneasiness. She attempted to end the conversation. "How about we turn up the music and dance?"
"I'll be right back." Olivia announced needing a moment away from her friends. She opened the door to the private bedroom and fell back on the mattress. Doubt crept in her mind about her sex life with Fitz. Was he holding back from her? Was there things he wanted to try but hadn't because she wasn't experienced. She sighed as her phone buzzed in her hand, running her finger over the screen, she answered it.
"Hi."
"Hi."
"Having fun?" Fitz asked.
"Sort of." Olivia answered.
"Uh oh…what's wrong?" He asked.
"I'm fine." She said, wiping at her eyes.
"Baby, something's wrong."
"Nothing, Fitz. Really…it's nothing." She answered. "What are you doing?"
"The guys came and took me to the cigar lounge for a small bachelor party."
"Are you happy with our sex life?" Olivia blurted out.
"Yes, baby. Where is this coming from?"
"Are there things you want to do in the bedroom that you haven't tried because I was a virgin?"
"Liv what's going on?" He asked.
Her voice became high pitched. "Answer me, please."
"Olivia you're being ridiculous right now."
Silence.
"I love you." Fitz stated. "Whatever doubt is forming in your mind, erase it."
Olivia took a deep breath. "Ok."
"I'm just…" Olivia shakes her head. "I love you too."
"I'll see you in the morning."
"How did you know I was staying out tonight?"
"Abby asked me to pack a bag for you. I figured it would be an overnight party."
Olivia chuckled. "I can't wait to marry you."
"Ditto."

A week later…
The bridal suite looked like a tornado had been through it. Olivia's pajamas and robe were thrown on the chair, scattered receipts and tags were tossed on the dresser from the new items she purchased for the wedding day. Olivia sat on the bed pushing her legs in and out, mimicking as if she was on a swing. Nerves was getting the best of Olivia and she tried her hardest to control her emotions. Grabbing the small white cardboard insert from the package of her stockings, she fanned herself. "I need some air." She whispered, walking toward the balcony doors, opening them and moving outside. She was lost in her thoughts as the cool air fell across her skin, she didn't hear the bridal suite door open.
Her eyes widened as Harrison walked out on the balcony looking dapper in his navy-blue tuxedo, similar to the one she picked out for Fitz.
"This is from the groom." He said, handing Olivia a small gold bag.
Olivia tightened her robe and walked back inside the room. She sat on the mattress and slowly opened the small gold bag, pulling out a white box. She lifted the top and pulled out a beautiful pearl bracelet.
"It's your something new." Harrison said.
"Will you?" Olivia asked, handing the bracelet to Harrison.
"Good to go." Harrison said, placing the bracelet around her wrist clasping it closed.
Olivia walked over to the desk and handed him a bag with the word 'GROOM' etched across it. "Take this to Fitz."
Harrison took the bag in his hands. "Will do." He walked to the door and paused. "Can I have a moment with Olivia Pope?"
"Sure." Olivia said, patting the mattress.
"In a few hours you're going to be Mrs. Olivia Grant…Damn!"
Olivia chuckled.
"Wow, time flies, Pope." Harrison shook his head. "I feel like we were just in Brooklyn, walking down the block to high school. Shit, now you're getting married."
Olivia nudged his shoulder. "I know. I'm all grown up."
"I have something for you." He said, pulling at the gold 'H' ring on his finger. "Something borrowed."
"Harry, I can't take your ring. You've never taken it off."
Harrison shrugged. "I want you to have it, Liv." He lifted her chin. "It means a lot to me, just like you."
Olivia swiped a tear from the corner of her eye. "You've always been there for me Harry."
"Fitz is a good man. He'll take care of you." He stood, walking toward the door. "I'll always be here for you, Pope. No matter what."
"I'll always need you, Harry. You're my brother."
Harrison looked over his shoulder, "love you, lil sis."
"Love you too." Olivia said.
X
Olivia blotted at her eyes, trying her hardest not to let the tears ruin her makeup. She could hear her friends scurrying on the outside of the door, giggling and getting dressed for the big day…her wedding day. An hour from now she would be Mrs. Olivia Grant. Turning the diamond on her left finger, she smiled reminiscing on the day she met Fitz. She was immediately thrown out of her thoughts when the bedroom door swung open and James sashayed in holding a large white garment bag.
"The dress is here!" He stated, excitedly, hanging the garment bag on the door. "Per your request, your mother is here to help you get dressed."
Maya walked in and James unzipped the garment bag, revealing the long flowing wedding gown she imagined months ago. It had a hint of purple and blue at the bottom of the dress representing Olivia and Fitz's favorite colors. Olivia was adamant about adding roses to the dress as a symbol of their relationship.
Olivia took a few steps, trailing her fingers over the white fabric. "It's beautiful."
"I told you I would make all of your dreams come true." James smiled. "Do you like the roses?"
"I love them. It's perfect." Olivia said.
James smiled and closed the door.
"Hi Mom." Olivia said, turning toward Maya.
"Oh…hi Livvie...my Livvie." Maya said, rushing to her, cradling Olivia in her arms. "Ready?"
Olivia nodded as she watched her mother take the wedding dress off the gold hanger. "Wow! It's beautiful."
"Thank you, mom." Olivia said, stepping inside the dress.
Maya lifted the fabric over her shoulders, zipping it up. "Snug like a bug." Maya chuckled.
Olivia glanced at herself in the mirror, connecting her eyes with her mother. "You used to say that to me every time you zipped up one of my dresses."
Maya stood behind Olivia in the mirror, smiling. "This is the most important dress I'll zip up for you, Livvie." Tears began to stream down Maya's cheeks and she reached for a tissue on the dresser, softly blotching her eyes.
"Mom don't cry." Olivia said, lifting the bottom of her dress, turning toward her mother.
"I'm happy for you." Maya sniffled, lifting the tulle veil from the bed, placing the Swarovski and pearl comb through Olivia's hair. "The next time I see you, you'll be a married woman."
Olivia smiled. "I'll be Mrs. Olivia Grant."

Olivia waited anxiously inside the Four Seasons Hotel lobby. She tapped her foot to the soft music that played through the hotel's speakers, waiting for the limo that carried the first love of her life…her dad. The party bus for the bridesmaids had arrived minutes before and took her friends to the church. She was grateful for the quiet time. James lifted the back of her dress when the white Excalibur pulled up at the entrance of the hotel. Olivia paused, allowing the driver to exit the vehicle and place the red carpet down. Eli stepped out of the vehicle and smiled as he watched Olivia walk toward him.
"Hi daddy." Olivia said, reaching out her hands to him.
He embraced her, hugging her tight. "So beautiful."
As the car drifted down the street to the National Cathedral, Olivia squeezed her father's hand tightly. Eli squeezed her hand in return, "do you remember when I walked inside your bedroom and you were eight years old? You had your Barbies lined up in a row wearing fancy dresses. I asked what were you doing and you looked at me and said, "daddy this is my wedding."
Olivia chuckled, "I remember. Just one thing is different now."
Eli smiled. "In your Barbie wedding, Ken was black."
Olivia laughed. "Yup."
"Love has a funny way of changing the game." Eli said.
Olivia turned to her father and smiled. "Yeah."
The vehicle stopped in front of the church and Olivia let out a breath she'd been holding. The driver rolled out the red carpet and helped her out of the vehicle. She swooped her arm inside Eli's and walked down the red carpet that led inside the church.
The processional music played as Olivia stood in the small room waiting with her father. Butterflies formed in her stomach as the music changed and she knew it was time to walk down the aisle. Fitz's eyes roamed to the double doors as they opened and his heart fluttered. Even though Olivia was several steps away from him, she could feel the intensity of his stare. The soloist gripped the microphone and belted out the words to 'Beautiful Surprise' by Indie Arie.
It's like yesterday
I didn't even know your name
Now today
You're always on my mind
I never could have predicted that I feel this way
You're beautiful surprise
Intoxicated every time I hear your voice
You've got me on a natural high
It's almost like I didn't even have a choice
You're beautiful surprise
Whatever it is you came to teach me
I am here to learn it cause
I believe that we're written in the stars
I don't know the future hopes
But I'm living in the moment
And I'm thankful for the man that you are, you are, you are
You are everything I ask for in my prayers
So I know my angels brought you to my life
Your energy is healing to my soul
You're beautiful surprise
You're inspiration to my life
You're the reason why I smile
You're beautiful surprise
The aisle looked longer than Olivia remembered. Each step toward Fitz felt lighter than the next. The room filled with family and friends disappears and she only sees the love of her life…Fitzgerald Grant. As her steps get closer to Fitz, she notices a single tear streaming down his face. She squeezes Eli's hand as he helps her up the steps to meet Fitz. Eli placed her hand on top of Fitz's, whispering, "she's all yours."
A quick glance at Fitz and the emotions Olivia felt the entire day brimmed to the surface. Her shoulders shook and the tears slowly trickled down her cheeks. Fitz squeezed her hands and whispered, "I love you."
"I love you more." She smiled.
The officiant stepped closer and read from his black binder. "Please be seated. On behalf of Olivia and Fitzgerald, I would like to thank you all for being here this afternoon. For taking the time and making the journey, and for all the effort that it takes—not only to be a part of this day, but to be a part of each other's lives. Whenever we attend a wedding, we are given the opportunity to reflect on our own relationships. We might look at the couple before us and be tempted to compare their love to the quality of our own relationships. The truth is that every relationship is as unique as the individuals in it, but one thing holds true: For love to exist between two people, each person must allow the vulnerability of giving his or her love to the other, and each must be open to receiving the other's love in turn. Therefore, each of us is a powerful creator of love. Olivia and Fitzgerald have chosen to recite their own vows."
Fitz held Olivia's hand and cleared his throat, "A year ago my life changed for the better. I met you…Olivia Pope. The love of my life. Your love is like water. It's shapeless and it's formless, but it is also peaceful yet so strong. You cannot live without water and I cannot live without you. You are my heart and I promise to support you through thick and thin. You are my breath, my every heartbeat. Today, I choose to spend the rest of my life with you."
Olivia swiped a tear with her finger, "today, I choose you, Fitzgerald Grant to be my husband, my life partner. You are mine. My missing puzzle piece. I believe in the person you will grow to be and the couple we will be together. With my whole heart, I take you as my husband, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. You are my person, my love and my life, today and always."
There wasn't a dry eye in the room as the officiant proceeded with the ceremony, "since ancient times, the ring has been a symbol of the unbroken circle of love, with no beginning and no end. May these rings always remind you of the freedom and power of this commitment you make here today. Fitzgerald repeat after me: Olivia, I give you this ring, as a sign of my vow to love, honor, and cherish you."
Fitz repeated the words and slipped the round platinum diamond ring on Olivia's finger.
Olivia held his hand and placed the silver platinum band on his finger. "Fitzgerald, I give you this ring, as a sign of my vow to love, honor, and cherish you."
"Now that Olivia and Fitzgerald have given themselves to each other by solemn vows, with the joining of hands and the giving and receiving of rings, I pronounce that they are married. You may kiss your bride."
Without hesitation, Fitz lifted the veil and kissed Olivia.
They turned at the same time, facing their guests, and smiled. Olivia reached for her bouquet from Abby and linked her fingers with Fitz's as they walked down the aisle to Stevie Wonder's 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered, (I'm yours)'

They basked in their happiness as the limo drove from the church to the Four Seasons Hotel for the reception. Olivia didn't want to rush a single moment. Once the limo stopped, she glanced at Fitz halting him from exiting the vehicle. "One minute."
He caressed her cheek, "Hi Mrs. Grant."
Olivia pecked his lips. "Hi Mr. Grant."
Fitz deepened the kiss as their tongues swirled together creating the perfect rhythm. Soft taps were heard on the window, knocking them out of their trance. James opened the door. "There will be plenty of time later in the evening for all of that, but right now I need the both of you to attend your reception."
They chuckled, stepping out of the limo.
The reception was everything Olivia had imagined. The room was transformed into a purple and white ballroom, dripping with white roses, crystals, and purple violets. The dance floor was white marble and had a huge letter 'G' in the middle. Guests explored different food stations. They had opted for a band and a DJ. Olivia couldn't wait for their first dance as husband and wife. The band began to play 'Here and Now' by Luther Vandross. Fitz led Olivia to the dance floor, twirling her in his arms. Fitz had memorized the song and started singing the words to Olivia as they swayed to the beat of the music.
One look in your eyes and there I see
Just what you mean to me
Here in my heart I believe
Your love is all I'll ever need
Holdin' you close through the night
I need you, yeah
I look in your eyes and there I see
What happiness really means
The love that we share makes life so sweet
Together we'll always be
This pledge of love feels so right
And, ooh, I need you
Here and now
I promise to love faithfully (Faithfully)
You're all I need
Olivia closed her eyes and wondered how her mother felt when she danced with her father for the first time at their wedding. When she opened her eyes, they instantly connected with her parents and she pointed for them to join her and Fitz on the dance floor.
When I look in your eyes, there I'll see
All that a love should really be
And I need you more and more each day
Nothin' can take your love away
More than I dare to dream
I need you
Here and now
I promise to love faithfully
They were lost in the moment as they spun around the dance floor, nothing else existed but them. The Grants.

Time sped up and before they knew it, the reception had wined down. Most of the guests had left except for the bridal party and a few close family members and friends. Olivia had her fair share of alcoholic drinks and enjoyed the slight buzz she felt. She sucked in her bottom lip and sashayed over to her husband. He sat a few feet away from her, tie undone, legs sprawled apart, laughing with Stephen and Harrison. She stood behind him, sliding her arms down his chest, whispering, "I'm ready to enjoy my husband."
Fitz cleared his throat and guzzled the rest of the scotch in his glass. He stood, announcing, "It's been a pleasure."
"I don't even want to know what she said." Harrison chuckled.
"I have some business with my wife." Fitz said, linking his fingers with Olivia's.
Olivia blew kisses to her family and friends as she walked out of the reception hall with Fitz.

Fitz was tipsy and the many buttons on Olivia's dress had become difficult to manage.
"Hurry Fitz." Olivia said, guzzling down the champagne in her glass, stepping out of her heels.
"Shit, Liv. There is a lot of buttons on this dress."
Olivia giggled.
"Ok, all done. Go and get naked."
"Fitz, I have a sexy little something I'm going to put on for you."
"Baby, save it for the honeymoon. It's going to be off of you in five minutes flat." He said, undoing the buttons on his shirt.
Olivia huffed. "It's our first night as husband and wife. You're going to appreciate all of the effort I put into this evening. Sit back, get naked and wait for your wife."
"I love it when you're demanding." He said quickly, unbuckling his pants and pulling down his boxers.
Olivia emerged from the bathroom wearing a white lacy revealing body suit. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun. She sucked in her finger and batted her eyes as she walked over to Fitz.
"Oh…this is…" Fitz stuttered.
"Mmmmhmmmmm." Olivia said, climbing on top of him. "Let's skip the foreplay tonight."
"Ok." He said, dropping his head to the crook of her neck, sucking in her skin.
"Hey husband." Olivia moaned.
His hands moved to the back of her bodysuit, attempting to undo it. "Hey wife."
Olivia held his hands in place. "It's crotchless, you can just slip right in."
"Fuck." Fitz said, flipping them over. "They make clothes like that?"
Olivia opened her legs, revealing the small slit down the crotch area of the bodysuit. His dick swelled as his eyes widened at the sight. "I have to taste you."
"Baby, I need you inside me." Olivia whined.
He ignored her, diving his head between her legs, sucking at her throbbing clit, rimming his tongue deep in her folds. Olivia fisted the sheets as he licked her until her body jerked and convulsed against him. Olivia gently pulled on his curls and he slid up her body, pressing at her entrance, before slowly entering her.
"Ahhhhhhhh" Olivia cried out.
With each stroke, Fitz reveled in the fact that he was making love to his wife…Olivia Grant. He stroked harder, with each moan she made, then slower, at her words of endearment. He whispered, "I love you," over and over, until he released inside of her. Not wanting to disconnect from his wife, he stayed on top of her until he softened, kissing her until her body calmed. Missing his connection, the moment he rolled off of her, she cradled against his heated body. "We're not done, Mr. Grant."
"Oh, I know, Mrs. Grant."
A/N: They're married! Yayyyyy. Thank you so much for being on this journey with them. There will probably be one more chapter left of this story before it comes to an end. I've really enjoyed writing this version of Olitz. I hope you enjoyed reading it.
