Everyone was excited for the Halloween dance this weekend. Hayden and Hawk were going as a dead Romeo and Juliet. Hawk was still trying to get Hayden to tell him what happened to her. He'd had no luck. It had been six weeks since the attack. Hayden and Hawk were at Hawk's house. It was night time. They just finished having sex. He was still on top of her. He kissed her.

"Hayden please tell me." He said.

"Tell you what?"

"Tell me what happened to you."

"Hawk, do we have to talk about that right now?"

"We're talking about it until you tell me the truth."

"Now though, come on honey."

"Just tell me."

"Eli, there is nothing to tell you." "I tipped over, that's all." She kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Are you mad at me?"

"No, I just want you to talk to me."

"There's nothing to talk about."

The next afternoon Hayden was making herself a sandwich. She had on a spaghetti strap tank top. She dropped the knife on the floor, that she'd been using to spread on the mustard.

"Shit." She said. It hurt her back but she bent down to pick it up. She sat back. She didn't know Cole had come into the kitchen.

"Hayden Rosalind Porter, what is that on your shoulder blade?" Cole said angrily.

"Fuck!" She thought."Nothing."

"That's a tattoo." "Sally." He called. She came into the kitchen. "Lean up and show your mother."

She did. "Hayden." Sally said disapprovingly.

"Turn around." She did. "Where did Hawk take you to get that?"

"I got by myself." "I found someone online who does them."

"You're grounded for three weeks."

"What about the dance?"

"You're not going."

"Dad."

"No, don't dad me." "You're underage and you got a tattoo." "Give me your phone, your Apple watch and your car keys." She did.

"How am I supposed to get to school?"

"I'll drive you." "I'm turning off the WiFi to your computer." "You'll go straight to school and you'll come straight home." "No Sam's house, absolutely no Hawk."

"This isn't fair."

"I think I'm being very fair considering." "Go to your room." She went to her room.

The next day Hawk was waiting by the front doors when Hayden came in.

"Are you ok?" Hawk said concerned. "I've been texting and calling you."

"I'm fine." "I'm grounded." "My dad saw my tattoo." "Don't worry I didn't tell them anything about who did it."

"How long are you grounded for?"

"Three weeks." "I'm not allowed to go to the dance."

"We're not allowed to see each other while you're grounded are we?"

"Just here."

"That sucks."

"I know."

"Do you think you can sneak off?"

"No." "I can't even drive, my dad took my keys."

"Shit."

"Yeah."

It was the night of the Halloween dance. Hawk decided to go as a zombie instead. Demetri was in the bathroom washing his hands. His costume had a hood so you couldn't tell it was him. Kyler and another boy in Cobra Kai. They were drinking from a flask.

"Did you notice that Hawk is alone tonight?" The boy said.

"Yeah."

"I wonder where his crippled bitch is."

"She probably stayed home because she's to afraid of me." "She didn't want to get her head busted open by me again."

Demetri immediately went and found Hawk after hearing that.

"It was Kyler." Demetri said. "Kyler hurt Hayden." "I just heard him talking about it in the bathroom."

"That son of a bitch." Hawk said angrily.

Kyler was getting ready to leave. As he was walking to his car, he heard from behind him.

"You motherfucker!" It was Hawk.

Before Kyler could even turn all the way around Hawk punched him in the face. Since Kyler was caught so off guard he never got his bearings. Hawk was also going on adrenaline and anger, so it was to much for Kyler to handle. Hawk had him beaten down within seconds. Kyler was a bloody mess.

"If you ever come anywhere near Hayden again, I'll kill you." Hawk said. He walked away.
