We're about to Save the Date.
Lucasdiaz9000 - I plan on doing that and maybe someday.
Zoryan El Muerto - Roncoln for life!.
TLHfanficReader21 - I can do that.
Gloyd R. Orangeboar - Thanks! Also, I'll keep that in mind.
PopCultureFan101 - No
CDW - Maybe and I'm not sure.
Guest2000 - Thank you and I'll keep that in mind.
Candymancan - Something like that.
Iron Emperor 45 - I can add that.
Girl Jordan and Darkhai - No it wouldn't. If Lori and Bobby get married, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne would be in-laws. And they wouldn't be related through blood at all.
NickyAlexy - No problem at all man! And I can agree to that. As for the alternate dimension one, I'm thinking of doing that.
Guest - Wait and see.
Darkness Rissing - That would be funny
Enjoy!
Title card: Save the Date
Something inside Lincoln from seeing that title reminded him of a certain event. He looked from Lori, to Ronnie Anne, and then to Bobby with a scorned look. He then looked at Clyde with a small frown.
This left everyone, especially those four, confused.
"Uh, Lincoln?" asked Girl Jordan. "Are you ok?"
"Something tells me that this episode isn't a good memory for him." said Mollie.
[The episode begins with Lincoln at school sitting with his friends at the lunch table trying to get something out of his pants. It eventually comes out, and it's a sloppy joe with a note on it.]
Classmate #4: [reading the note] Happy Sloppy Joe Tuesday, Lame-o. Signed, Ronnie Anne. [he says her name with flair]
"Ronnie Anne!" Maria exclaimed. "I thought you had stopped doing those pranks to Lincoln!"
Ronnie Anne scratched her neck nervously. "Hehehe we still had a long way to go at that moment." she said.
"True she might have turned down her teasing but still 'friends' wasn't a term we would use." added Lincoln.
Classmate #3: And there's a heart!
Trent and the other classmates: Oooooooo! Lincoln's got a girlfriend!
Lincoln: What? No I don't.
Classmate #3: When's the wedding day, Lincoln?
[The classmates, excluding Clyde, laugh.]
Lincoln: Ha-ha. Very funny, guys.
Classmates: Ronnie and Lincoln sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. [they start laughing again]
"Who do those kids think they are?!" exclaimed Luna, growling.
"Still think that sloppy joes down my pants are a sign of love?" Lincoln asked.
"Not anymore!" said Luan.
"I oughta give those kids a pounding!" snarled Lynn.
"Get in line." said Lola, stretching her knuckles.
"Wait, so Ronnie Anne isn't your girlfriend?" Leni asked, confused.
"She's not my girlfriend!" Lincoln exclaimed.
"I'm not his girlfriend!" Ronnie Anne said at the same time.
Lincoln: Guys, Ronnie Anne is NOT my girlfriend. She's rude and gross and totally annoying. I'd rather lick the bathroom floor than kiss that weirdo.
Everyone was shocked to hear that.
"She's standing right behind you isn't she?" asked Carl.
[A gasp is heard, and it turns out it came from Ronnie Anne. Lincoln turns around and is shocked to see her.]
"Yep!" said Carl.
"There you are Ronnie Anne!" CJ said excitedly.
Ronnie Anne winced at what Lincoln said but did nod at what CJ said with a weak smile. Lincoln felt horrible about Ronnie Anne hearing that again.
"Lincoln Loud that was uncalled for and very rude!" Rita said sternly.
Bobby and Lori turned to glare at Lincoln, the latter growling at him remembering that incident. The rest of his sisters, many adults, and many kids and teens glared at him as well.
"What?! I didn't know she was listening! I didn't want the guys thinking I was some lovesick chump! I'm really sorry about what I said a year ago, but can any of you say you haven't been in my shoes as a kid?" Lincoln said in a defensive tone. "Also, I didn't even know Ronnie was Bobby's sister! I was gonna apologize over the phone, but SOME PEOPLE" he then points at Lori "decided that an apology over the phone wasn't good enough! And SOME PEOPLE never told me Bobby had a sister before that day!"
Everyone was taken aback by what he had said while Lori and Bobby traded glances.
"Actually I'm surprised it took that long." said Principal Huggins.
All eyes went on the principal of Royal Woods Elementary.
"Whaddya Pean principal Huggins?" asked Lana.
"Well, weeks prior to her moving, Miss Santiago didn't have the best record when it came to attitude in the school and as we saw before seems Mr. Loud was her main 'victim'." Principal Huggins explained.
Ronnie Anne looked down in shame.
"Even after they supposedly buried the hatchet, she still made things that could be considered bullying. Add all that teasing and we have some hard feelings finally finding a way out." Huggins continued.
"But Ronnie Anne is a girl! He shouldn't have said those things to a girl!" Lori exclaimed.
Everyone gave her a skeptical look.
"Are you saying because Ronnie Anne is a girl Lincoln doesn't have the right to defend himself?" Carlota asked.
"But he made her cry!" Lori argued back.
"Oh please it would need more than some words to hurt my prima." Carl scoffed.
"Ronnie Anne is my cousin and honorary sister and Lincoln may have been a bit rude but comparing what she did to him before I think what he did is quite light." Carlota said.
"But-" Lori began.
"They are right Lori." said Ronnie Anne and everyone turned to her. "Yeah Lincoln insulted me but seeing it again I did deserve it not only for the sloppy joe but also for all i did in the past." She turned dot Lincoln again, guilt on her face. "So again can you forgive me for being rude and gross and totally annoying?"
Lincoln smiled and gave her a playful shove.
"Only if you forgive me for being so rude." he said.
Ronnie Anne smiled. "Deal. but FWI i think you should speak your mind more often. it certainly would have prevented a lot of hard situations." she said.
"So in this episode he finds out that Ronnie Anne is Bobby's sister?" asked Zach.
"Yep." said Lincoln. "And it wasn't pleasant."
Lincoln: Ronnie Anne!
[Ronnie Anne is at first shocked, but then puts on an angry scowl and storms out of the lunch room with her food tray in her hands.]
Clyde: Whoa, Lincoln, I think you really hurt her feelings.
Lincoln: C'mon, Clyde, Ronnie Anne is the toughest girl at school. She'll be fine.
"I'll admit, the insult hurt a little, but I'm over it." said Ronnie Anne.
[Lincoln returns to the Loud House after school, whistling.]
Lori: [voice-over] YOU MONSTER! [throws a tissue box at Lincoln]
"Oh boy, Lori's livid now." gulped Luan.
Lincoln: Ow! What was that for?
[It is then shown that the distraught and furious Lori has made a mess, and is quite a mess herself, with food such as ice cream and popcorn on the table and rivers of mascara down her face.]
"Oh boy." gulped Laird, hiding behind Ronnie Anne and Sid.
Lori: You made Ronnie Anne CRY!
Lincoln: Cry? I didn't mean to! Wait, how do you know?
[Lori tries to aim a teddy bear at Lincoln, but he jumps out of the way before it hits him.]
Lori: Bobby told me... [her lip quivers and she starts to cry] RIGHT BEFORE HE BROKE UP WITH ME! [wails]
"Wait, you two broke up once?!" Sid asked in shock.
"I didn't like the idea of dating someone related to another person that hurt my sister's feelings!" Bobby said with arms crossed.
"That… doesn't make any sense." said Margo.
Lincoln: What? Why does Bobby care? [Lori throws a couch cushion at Lincoln, prompting him to duck; she opens a photo album showing a picture of Bobby and Ronnie Anne together.]
Lori: Because Bobby is literally Ronnie Anne's brother! He said he could never date someone related to someone who hurt someone he's related to! Or something like that!
Lincoln: Ronnie Anne has a brother? I thought she was raised by trolls.
Ronnie Anne laughed. "Hahahaha! That would have been awesome." she said.
Seeing Lily and Carlitos next to her, she got up and began imitating a troll much to the babies' delight, making them laugh and clap.
"How she eats I'll say she was." muttered Carl, only to have her slap him across his head. "Ouch... your aptitude doesn't help." he muttered, earning him another slap.
[Lori throws a bunch of CDs in rapid fire fashion; Lincoln shields himself with the cushion.]
Lori: [offscreen] D'AAAAHH! THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT BOBBY WAS TALKING ABOUT!
"Jeez Louise Lori, take it easy!" exclaimed Carol.
"Yeah, Lincoln didn't know Ronnie Anne and Bobby were related, remember?" added Becky.
[Lori chases after Lincoln, who hides behind the chair; he trips, and Lori catches him and holds him up by his shirt.]
Lori: You have to make things right with Ronnie Anne!
Lincoln: Okay! Okay! I'll call her right now and apologize! [picks up the phone]
Lori: NO! [hangs up the phone] Nuh-uh! Actions speak louder than words! Bobby has to see you being nice to her. That's the only way he'll get back together with me! Which is why we're going on a double date!
Lincoln: WHAT?!
Lori: It's all been arranged! We have a reservation at Jean Juan's French-Mex Buffet at six! AND YOU! WILL MAKE HER! FEEL! LIKE THE MOST SPECIAL GIRL! IN THE WORLD!
"Ok that is seriously overdoing it." said Miguel.
"Sometimes a simple phone call can work." said Fiona.
"But Bobby-" Lori began.
"And another thing." Dana interrupted. "You're basically forcing Lincoln to do this against his will with no prior knowledge to your boyfriend being related to the girl bullying him."
"Doesn't everyone get a say in everything?" Roger added.
Lori sighed, realaing that.
Lincoln: [gags] I'd rather lick the bathroom...
[Lori picks up the end table, snarling, and threatens to crush him with it.]
Lincoln: I'll go iron my khakis! (runs out of the scene)
Everyone gasped.
"LORI MARIE LOUD!" Rita roared in anger, making Lori jump in alarm. "What were you thinking?! That could have seriously hurt your brother!"
"Or worse." Lucy said grimly.
Lori was now sweating bullets as everyone glared at her. "I… well I... I was just… really mad… he literally ruined my relationship with Bobby that time." she stuttered.
"Did he?" asked Carl. "I'm seriously confused about it. I mean I know Lori deserves better that Bobby (wiggles his eyebrows at her) But don't you think he was too quick in breaking up with her?"
"Carl's right." said Leni. "I mean, Lincoln didn't even give his side of the story."
"And threatening him with the end table was not cool sis." Luna said with a frown.
"Yeah, it's like you value your relationship with Bobby more than your own flesh and blood." Luan added.
"Bobby, did you even ask Ronnie Anne why she thought Lincoln would say those things?" asked Arturo.
"And even ask Lincoln his side of the story like Leni said?" added Maria.
Bobby pondered over that before realizing that his parents were right.
"No…" he finally answered.
Maria and Arturo sighed.
"We will be discussing this big time when we get back, young lady." Lynn Sr. said to Lori sternly.
Lori gulped. Looking back now, she was now feeling extremely guilty for what she did.
[Up in his bedroom, Lincoln gives Clyde a call on his walkie-talkie.]
Lincoln: Clyde, I need your help.
Clyde: What's up, Lincoln?
Lincoln: I have to go on a double date at Jean Juan's French-Mex Buffet with Ronnie Anne.
Clyde: Ooh, I love fusion cuisine! But why?
Lincoln: Because you were right. I did hurt her feelings, she told Bobby, and he broke up with Lori, and now Lori's making me- [hears nothing but static on his walkie-talkie.] Clyde? Clyde?
[Clyde is dancing in front of a gold-framed portrait of Lori with a spotlight shining on it.]
Clyde: Clyde and Lori sitting in a tree / Where there's no room for dumb Bobby! Woo!
"Seriously man?" Rusty deadpanned.
"Why do I feel like he's gonna use this to his advantage?" Stella groaned.
"Because… I did." Clyde answered sheepishly.
"Oh boy…" muttered Liam.
[Later, the two pairs of siblings arrive at the restaurant. Lori and Bobby look happy to see each other, but their respective siblings don't.]
Lori: Hi, Bobby.
Bobby: Hey babe-I mean, Lori.
[Ronnie Anne rolls her eyes.]
"Looks like he doesn't want to break up with her either." said Joey.
Lincoln: Hi, Ronnie Anne. [Lori heavily nudges him] You're looking lovely this evening.
Ronnie Anne: Yeah, we weirdos clean up nice. Let's just get this over with.
"Yeah I deserved that reply." Lincoln muttered. "Believe you-me Ronnie Anne, I didn't want to be there like you."
"I could tell." said Ronnie Anne.
[The four of them walk inside when suddenly, to Lincoln's surprise, they find a poorly-disguised Clyde, wearing a Mexican scarf, a French beret, and a fake mustache, at the counter.]
Clyde: Good evening, Monjour et Señoritas. Welcome to Jean Juan's French-Mex Buffet!
Lincoln: [pulls Clyde towards him] Clyde, what are you doing!?
Bobby: [noticing the bowl of mints situated on the counter.] Ooh, mints! [eats one]
Clyde: [growls jealously at Bobby and then turns his attention back to his best friend.] Just here to help you, buddy.
"Oh Clyde..." groaned Harold.
"Nice try Clyde, we know why you're there." said Lola.
"How did you even disguise yourself and fool the staff?" asked Sameer.
"I was able to get some stuff from the back." Clyde replied. "And those guys aren't the brightest tools in the shed."
"Wait, the restaurant staff have been construction tools this whole time?" Leni asked in surprise.
Everyone facepalmed.
Lincoln: I know what you're up to. Please don't mess this up for me.
Clyde: Don't worry. You won't even know I'm here!
[But just as Clyde steps back onto the phone book he was standing on, he knocks the counter over and spills the bowl of mints, startling Lincoln and making Lori jump into Bobby's arms. As Bobby puts Lori down, a waiter slips on the mints and crashes offscreen, sending a mask rolling away from where he crashed.]
Clyde: So, table for three?
Bobby: Actually, there are four-
Clyde: [ignoring his rival] Very good. Three. Right this way. [He brings Lincoln, Lori, and Ronnie Anne to their table, and then pulls up a chair for Lori as he calls her...] Ma'amsellita.
"That is both sweet and weird at the same time." said Carol.
[Lincoln tries to do the same for Ronnie, but she instead just sits in another chair, so he sits in the chair he offered her. Bobby approaches their table.]
"Little harsh prima." said Carl.
"I was still a bit miffed at the time." said Ronnie Anne.
Bobby: Wow, table blankets? Pretty romantic.
Lori: I know. Isn't it?
Bobby: I mean, whatever. It's fine. [Clyde suddenly pulls away the table's last chair.] Hey, thanks, man. [He prepares to sit down, thinking Clyde has pulled up the chair for him, but instead Clyde walks away with the chair and Bobby ends up hitting the floor with a thud.] Ow! Hey, wait! [He pulls a nearby potted plant to use as a seat.]
"Come on Clyde, Lori and Bobby's relationship is on the rocks right now!" groaned Girl Jordan.
"And they want this date to go well so everything goes back to normal!" added Mollie.
Clyde sighed in guilt.
[Lincoln, not sure of what to say right now, looks at Ronnie Anne, who's still scowling at him. But she is then suddenly started by the appearance of a Mexican band.]
Musician: Ooh, la la! Young amour! This calls for... música! [But before he and his two companions can perform...]
Lincoln: No, no! Please, no música. [The three musicians dejectedly walk away.]
"Yeah that wasn't really the best time." nodded Carlos.
Lincoln: So, I hear the Quiche Rancheros is excellent.
"Oh it really is." Becky said in agreement.
[His attempt at small talk does not appear to have done him any good; Ronnie Anne is still scowling at him.]
"Come on Ronnie Anne, he's trying." said Luna.
"I know that now." the Santiago girl replied.
Clyde: [comes up with three glasses of water and gives two of them to Lincoln and Ronnie Anne.] Two flat waters... [gives the third one to Lori.] ...and one sparkling, to match your eyes.
Bobby: [taps Clyde's shoulder] Uh, could I get a water? [Clyde just ignores him again and walks off, much to his annoyance.] And maybe a chair?
"Clyde, I now at the time you were crushing on Lori but that wasn't helping your friend in the slightest." scolded Howard.
Clyde winced in guilt.
[One clockwise screen-wipe later, Lincoln is still trying to get back on Ronnie Anne's good side.]
Lincoln: So, how about that math test? I mean, "show your work?" What is that?
"Yeah I'm not good at small talk like that." said Lincoln.
"You have progressed since then." said Lisa, making her brother smile.
[Bobby and Lori just quietly chew their food when Clyde suddenly comes back with a silver plate.]
Clyde: If I may... [lifts the cover so that he slams it in Bobby's face.] ...a special treat for a special lady - a nacho from Jean Juan's private collection!
Bobby and Lori: [simultaneously] I think I'll hit the buffet again.
Lori: [gasps as Clyde gets a disillusioned look on his face.] We both said the same thing at the exact same time! It's like we're literally meant to be.
[Clyde can only watch forlornly as his unrequited crush and his rival walk off to the buffet, so he vents his frustration by punching the nacho down on the plate he's holding and storms off.]
"Face it Clyde, it ain't gonna happen." said Paula.
"Yeah I know that now." said Clyde.
Lincoln: [imitating Lori] "It's like we're literally meant to be."
Ronnie Anne: [giggles] Oh, they're so cheesy!
Lincoln: [also giggles] Yeah, Yeah! Cheesier than this Fromage Con Queso!
"No we're not!" Lori and Bobby exclaimed.
"Oh yes you are." said Lynn.
"Yeah, we here you guys gush over each other all the time." said Carlota.
"Sometimes it gets weird." CJ.
Ronnie Anne: [laughs] Oh, remember that time Bobby decided store-bought flowers were too "impersonal", so he picked his own?
Lincoln: Yeah, and they turned out to be poison ivy! Lori swelled up like a salted turkey!
Everyone burst out laughing while Lori blushed in embarrassment.
"That actually happened?!" Sid guffawed.
"It sure did!" laughed Lana.
"Oh I remember that day like it was yesterday!" chortled Luna.
"Her face was bigger than her hair!" chortled Lynn.
"Yeah, her face was swell done!" said Luan before laughing. "Get it?"
"And that's why we stick to buying regular flowers for our dates." said Benny.
[As they share a laugh over this, the camera zooms over to their older siblings watching from the buffet.]
Bobby: Aw, look, they're getting along!
Lori: Does that mean...?
[Lincoln stops laughing as he sees Bobby taking Lori's hands in his.]
Bobby: Babe, this has been torture!
Lori: Oh, Bobby Boo-Boo Bear!
"Well that was fast." said Casey.
[They pucker up to kiss, but Clyde comes between them and ruins the moment.]
Clyde: Hot frog tamales, comin' through!
"Seriously Clyde?" Haiku deadpanned.
Lincoln: Ugh, the nicknames!
Ronnie Anne: I know. And don't get me started on the kissing. It's so gross! Who does that!?
"All couples son." said Lynn Sr.
"Yeah but a bunch of them go the extra mile with that like you two." said Mr. Grouse, snickering as Lynn Sr. and Rita blushed.
Lincoln: Yeah, and how about all the selfies? [Ronnie Anne chuckles and then puts her arm around him while lifting out her other arm as if she's taking a selfie right now as he imitates Lori again.] "Don't get my bad side, Bobby!"
Ronnie Anne: [imitating Bobby] "You don't have a bad side, babe." [pretends to take a few selfies] Click, click, click! [they laugh some more]
Everyone burst out laughing.
"We're not like that!" Lori protested. "Are we?"
Everyone gave the two a look.
"Huh. Guess we are." shrugged Bobby.
Lincoln: You know, I'm really sorry for what I said at school.
Ronnie Anne: It's okay. Sorry about the sloppy joe.
"At least you two are getting along now." said Leni.
[They both give heartfelt smiles at each other when suddenly their older siblings come back with their arms around each other.]
Lori: Guess who's back together!
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne: [simultaneously and with sarcasm] Babe and Bobby Boo-Boo Bear?
Everyone chuckled at the two's sarcasm.
Lori: Yes! Wheeee! Reunion selfie! [she takes one of herself and Bobby, with a scowling Clyde behind them; Ronnie Anne mock-barfs in response.]
"True that." chuckled Lynn.
Lincoln: Heh! [suddenly, he looks behind him to see that his five classmates who were teasing him at the beginning of the episode have just arrived at the restaurant.]
Classmate #3's Mom: I'll be back to pick you boys up.
Classmate #3: Okay, mom.
"Oh dear." said Lisa.
"Oh this isn't good." said Hector.
"Why did those five idiots have to show up?" groaned Nikki.
[As Ronnie Anne laughs again, Lincoln quickly hides under the table.]
Ronnie Anne: What are you doing?
Lincoln: Just, uh, dropped my fork. [crawls under the table, startling Lori and Bobby.]
Lori: [Annoyed] Lincoln, where are you going!?
Lincoln: Uh, bathroom. I hope no one else had the Chile Con Escargots! [he dashes for the men's room and locks himself in.] Phew! I'll just hang out here till those guys leave.
"You could've just told them." Chunk pointed out.
"It was a bit in the heat of the moment Chunk." Lincoln replied.
Musician: [appearing behind Lincoln with his two companions.] ¡Música!
Lincoln: No, no! No música.
"That was random." said Dante.
Customer: [pounding the door from outside] Hurry up! I gotta escar-go!
Lincoln: [groans, unlocks the door and dashes out while the desperate customer dashes in.]
Musician Uno, dos, trois! [he and his band start playing]
"Seriously, while in the bathroom?" Margo asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It's fine if you want to listen to music while doing your business, but a live band?" That's just weird." said Luna.
"And creepy." added Sam.
[Outside the restroom, Lincoln sees that his classmates are still here.]
Classmate #1: Well, I gotta pee.
[As Classmate #1 heads for the restrooms, Lincoln quickly ducks under a food cart containing the dessert tray.]
"That was close. Nice job man." praised Chaz.
Lincoln smiled.
Clyde: [comes out of the kitchen, talking on his cell phone, and starts pushing the cart.] Hello, Dr. Lopez? I know I'm not supposed to call you at home, but it's a Lori emergency.
"Why do I feel like that's what you mostly call her about?" asked Lola.
"80% of the time." said Howard.
"The other 20 is life in general." said Harold.
Lincoln: [pulls Clyde by his collar] Clyde! You gotta get me out of here!
Clyde: What? Why?
[Lincoln points to the laughing classmates at their table.]
Classmate #1: [returning] Guys, there's a band in the bathroom!
"Still weird." said Carl.
Lincoln: I can't let those guys see me on a "date" with Ronnie Anne. I just convinced them she's not my girlfriend.
Clyde: I gotcha, buddy. Just stay under there and I'll wheel you out. [into his phone] Dr. Lopez, I'll call you back. [wheels the cart past the classmates' table just when...]
Classmate #4: Hey, dessert guy!
Clyde: Crud! [wheels the cart up to their table.]
Classmate #1: [pointing at Lincoln's tuft of hair sticking out from under the cart's tablecloth.] Ooh, what's that with the whipped cream on top? [Lincoln quickly ducks so that his hair tuft is not sticking out.]
Clyde: Uh, sorry, that's a to-go order. [Classmate #1 pulls the cloth back only to see nothing under it.] See? It's gone.
"That was close." said Winston.
"Good joke though Clyde." said Giggles.
Clyde chuckled a bit.
[Lincoln dashes for the entrance, but suddenly runs into the band again.]
Musician: ¡Música!
Lincoln: NO! No música. Silencio! [ducks into a nearby closet]
"Can't that band take a hint?" asked Polly.
"Maybe they're desperate for a gig." suggested Tabby.
Clyde: [comes in with the dessert cart.] Lincoln? [Lincoln pulls him into the closet with him.] How are we gonna get you out now? We'll need a disguise.
Lincoln: [pulls out an oversized mask of a Mexican man.] I'm way ahead of you!
[Clyde just lowers his eyelids in response to that impression of Luan.]
Luan laughed. "Good one Linc!" she said.
Lincoln chuckled.
[One screen-wipe later, Lincoln, wearing the mask, is on the shoulders of Clyde, who has hidden his face with his scarf, but is not keeping his own arms hidden.]
Clyde: ¡Adios! Au revoir! ¡Gracias! Merci!
Lincoln: Okay, Clyde, less talking, more walking. We're almost out!
"That disguise could've been better." said Lola.
Lori: We need our check. Where's that cute little waiter?
Clyde: She thinks I'm cute?! I gotta get that check for Lori! [dashes off, causing Lincoln to fall off his shoulders and drop the mask.]
"Uh oh." said Sid.
"Dang it Clyde!" groaned Mollie.
Clyde blushed in embarrassment and shame.
Lincoln: Clyde, no! Wait! [Too late, his classmates have spotted him.]
Classmate #4: Hey Lincoln. Whatcha doing at Jean Juan's French-Mex Buffet?
"Busted!" cawed Sergio.
"Not helping Sergio." Frida scolded.
Lincoln: I'm just here with family. I mean, friends. I, I mean, family friends.
Classmate #4: Isn't that Ronnie Anne?
Lincoln: No! I mean, maybe. I didn't know she was here.
Classmate #4: Hey, are those khakis? Gasp! You're wearing date pants!
Classmate #3: I knew it! Ronnie Anne is your girlfriend! [he and others laugh]
"Oh great, they're still on that?!" groaned Carol.
"Why would they even be teasing him for having a girlfriend?" asked Skippy.
"If they were a couple." reminded Winston.
"Right." Skippy nodded.
"Some people are just mean." said Stella.
Lincoln: She is NOT my girlfriend! Guys, I already told you. Ronnie Anne is rude and gross and totally annoying. I'd rather lick the bathroom floor than kiss that weirdo.
Lori: [off-screen] LINCOLN!
[The camera shifts over to Lori and Bobby, both of whom look furious at what Lincoln just said, and then over to Ronnie Anne, who is again shocked, angry, and heartbroken at hearing Lincoln repeating these harsh words after all that bonding they just went through. Tears well up in her eyes as she scowls and she runs for the entrance.]
Bobby: We're broken up again, babe. I mean, Lori. [Lori starts crying her eyes out and Lincoln's classmates point and laugh at him.]
Classmate: Busted!
Before anyone could glare at Lincoln again or Lincoln could apologize again Ronnie Anne spoke up, "Hey, he already apologized for that! I know why he said what he did. I'm over it."
That made everyone shut up.
"And for the love of K-Pop, how did you two not see those five idiots making fun of Lincoln?!" Sid asked, glaring at Lori and Bobby.
"And why didn't you stand up for Lincoln?" Leni asked.
"Yeah, you could clearly see that those five dimwits were making fun of him!" added Luan.
Lori and Bobby traded glances.
"We thought he would just ignore them." said Lori. "I mean, he could handle our teasing."
"Because you're his sisters." Stella pointed out. "He's used to you."
"And the pressure from those five kids had gotten to him again." added Benny.
"Which is saying something if this was happening daily in his school life." added Sam.
"It seems that you only care about your relationship with Bobby more than your own brother." Luna said with a glare at Lori.
"Enough not even to listen to his side of the story." added Lana.
"That's not true!" Lori protested.
"If it was, you would've asked Lincoln his side of the story." said Lisa.
"And told off those five knuckleheads for teasing him." added Lynn.
Lori looked down in guilt. Bobby felt just as guilty for contributing to this.
[Lincoln sees Ronnie Anne reaching the entrance.]
Lincoln: Hey, wait! [he runs after her but is suddenly blocked by the Mexican band again.]
Musician: ¡Música!
"Seriously, again?" Fransico groaned.
"Are they oblivious too?" asked Paula.
Lincoln: No, no. No música. Ronnie Anne, wait! There's something I've gotta say. [he pulls up a small podium and gets on it to make his speech.] Can I have everyone's attention, please?
"What are you doing Lincoln?" asked Lynn.
"Just watch Lynn." Lincoln replied.
[Lori stops crying]
Lincoln: I've said some pretty horrible things about a girl who deserves a lot better. Ronnie Anne, you're really cool, and funny, and I've had an awesome time hanging out with you tonight. [Ronnie Anne doesn't quite look convinced.] But as my sister Lori once told me, actions speak louder than words. [Lori smiles] So, instead of telling you how I great I think you are, well...
[Lincoln jumps off the podium and gives out his hand to Ronnie. She takes his hand, and he then pulls her up onto the podium with him and kisses her on the lips. The classmates react in surprise while Lori and Bobby gleefully hug each other.]
"EEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Sid and the Loud sisters squealed.
"AWW!" all the other girls cooed.
Everyone else stared in surprise.
"How sweet." smield Maria.
"Ronolda's first actual kiss!" Frida cried before bursting into tears.
"¡Qué romántico!" gushed Rosa.
"Well aren't you the ladies' man?" Becky chuckled while Lincoln blushed. As did Ronnie Anne.
"But why did you kiss her?" asked Rusty. "Not that you thought it was gross, but still?"
"Yeah, we thought you didn't like her that way." said Liam.
"It was the pressure of everything." said Lincoln. "Lori brokenhearted, Bobby mad, and Ronnie Anne hurt, I had to make things right. It was the only thing I could think of, despite the teasing I would get."
"Well that does explain a lot." said Zach.
"But wait." said Clyde. "If you two did kiss twice, how come you're not dating each other?"
Everyone looked at the two.
"Well I'll admit, we did try to date after that." said Lincoln.
"We went out a few times, especially after that egg assignment in Mrs. Johnson's class." added Ronnie Anne. "But we never became an official couple."
"That's why I kept saying Ronnie Anne wasn't my girlfriend." said Lincoln, shooting a look at his sisters who blushed.
"Why's that?" asked Albert.
"Well I did end up moving to the city." said Ronnie Anne.
"And we agreed that we would just stay friends." added Lincoln.
"Well that would explain why you were crushing on Paige and then Stella after that." said Lana.
"By the way, I'm not his girlfriend." said Stella. "I'm nott looking for a boyfriend."
"And Paige said that she could do better." added Lincoln.
"Hey, you'll meet your love someday baby bro." said Luna with a smile.
"You two Ronita." smiled Arturo.
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne chuckled.
"Yeah, someday." they said in unison as they turned back to the screen.
Lori and Bobby: Yes!
Clyde: [apparently was watching this while wearing the giant mask; yanks the mask off and angrily glares at the re-reunited couple as he pulls out his cell phone.] Hello, Dr. Lopez?
"Tough luck McBride." said Carl.
"You still know it isn't gonna happen, right?" asked Girl Jordan.
"I do now." said Clyde.
[The next day at school, Lincoln's classmates are teasing him again.]
Classmates: Ronnie and Lincoln sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
"Jerks." hissed Lucy.
"Next time I see them, I'll give them a piece of my mind." growled Lynn.
"Or you can just call their parents." Principal Rivers pointed out.
"I do have their parents contact information." said Principal Ramirez.
"That'll work." said Rita.
"Looks like they won't get away so easily." smirked Lola.
Lincoln: [to the viewers] Yes, this is annoying, but it's a small price to pay as long as things are cool between me and Ronnie Anne.
Ronnie Anne: [suddenly barges in] YOU!
"Whoa, what's got you all fired up?" asked Sid.
Classmates: Ooooh! [Ronnie Anne slaps Lincoln hard across the face.] Ohhh?
Everyone's jaws dropped. Before Mari and Arturo could scold their daughter, she quickly spoke up.
"There's a reason why I slapped him!" she said.
Ronnie Anne: Lincoln Loud, how DARE you kiss me at Jean Juan's French-Mex Buffet! You are rude and gross and totally annoying. I'd rather lick the bathroom floor than kiss you! [she storms off]
"Talk about using someone's own words against them." commented Norm.
"So… you didn't like the kiss?" asked Lana.
"Just watch Lana." said Ronnie Anne.
Classmate #1: Sorry, dude.
Trent: That was harsh.
Classmate #3: Girls are intense, man.
Classmate #4: It's okay to be single.
Classmate #5: Your bros are here for you, bro.
"Oh really? If they were his bros, they wouldn't tease him about his love life!" huffed Luna.
"Though that third one does have a point." said Rusty. "Girls can be intense."
"Besides, we're Lincoln's bros." said Clyde as he, Zach, Rusty, and Liam fist-bumped.
[As soon as Lincoln's classmates each leave, though, Lincoln looks pretty saddened about Ronnie Anne dumping him. Just then, an ice pack slides up in front of him with an attached note. Lincoln looks at the note and hears Ronnie Anne's voice reading it:]
"Hope that stopped the teasing. Signed, Ronnie Anne."
"Oh!" everyone said in unison.
"So that's why you slapped him." said Sid.
"You could've used a different approach Ronnie Anne." Carlos pointed out.
"Yeah, but I wanted to make it look like it was by force and I didn't truly want it." said Ronnie Anne. "After seeing those boys tease him, I had to make it look like we weren't together at all."
"That's why we were usually quiet about our brief dating life." added Lincoln.
"Well that explains a lot." said Luan.
Lincoln: [to the viewers] And, there's a heart! [applies the ice pack to where Ronnie Anne slapped him.]
"That's cute." smield Leni.
"So was that when you started developing feelings for one another?" asked Lisa.
"More or less." said Ronnie Anne. "As we said, it was brief."
Clyde: [entering just as Lincoln puts Ronnie Anne's note in his pocket.] Sorry about Ronnie Anne. I know how you feel. A broken heart is a story as old as time. But I think I have something that'll cheer you up! It always helps me. [claps] ¡Música! [The Mexican band from the restaurant appears and play their music as Lincoln and Clyde dance to it.]
Lincoln and Clyde: ¡Olé!
"¡Olé!" everyone said in unison.
"How did you get that band?" asked Sam.
"When I couldn't reach Dr. Lopez, they played music for me." said Clyde. "So I got their card."
"That and from what we've heard, they love playing." added Howard.
"Well that was an interesting one." said Hector.
"And I believe 5 of you owe each other sincere apologies." Rosa said sternly.
Said five knew what the oldest female Casagrande meant. Clyde turned to Limnmcoln.
"Lincoln, I'm sorry I wasn't helping your situation at all." said Clyde. "I was only thinking of myself and my crush on Lori that I made your dilemma with your sister, her boyfriend, and his sister harder."
"Apology accepted Clyde." said Lincoln.
"Just remember Clyde, you can't let your wants get in the way of someone else's problems." said Howard.
"I'll remember that Dad." said Clyde.
"Lincoln, Lori, I'm sorry I overreacted." said Bobby. "I know I was a bit overprotective of my sister back then and I should've asked why he would say such a thing. I was too quick to break up with Lori and I should've heard both sides of the story."
"Thanks for realizing that Bobby." said Lincoln.
"And Bobby I appreciate what you did for me, but your happiness matters just as much as mine." said Ronnie Anne. "You shouldn't've broken up with Lori just because Lincoln said some hurtful things about me. She had nothing to do with it."
"I understand that now." said Bobby.
"Remember Roberto, you have to understand that there may be more to the story than you think." said Arturo sternly. "If you don't listen to all sides, things can get really out of hand."
"And that's what happened when you thought that Lincoln was a bad person who willingly hurt Ronnie Anne's feelings and broke up with Lori when she had nothing to do with it." added Maria, crossing her arms.
"I know." Bobby sighed.
"I know I said this before Ronnie Anne," said Lincoln. "But I am still sorry for what I said that day. It was really mean of me and I wasn't thinking. I should've chosen better words and to make those five morons know that we weren't dating at all. And I should've considered your feelings."
Ronnie Anne smiled. "I already forgave you for that Lincoln." she said. "And I'm sorry for what I've done to you. I never meant to bully you, even if I did want to keep up a tough reputation."
"I've been thinking? why did you really pick on Lincoln?" asked CJ.
"As I said I wasn't much of a people person back then but i suppose I should expand on that." Ronnie Anne replied. "After my folks split it was just me, Bobby, and my mom I wasn't very social so I was very close to them but when Bobby started dating Lori… I guess I got super jealous."
Everyone was taken aback.
"Well that explains a lot about that time." Lincoln remarked.
"Sorry if I made you feel that way Nei Nei." Bobby apologized.
"Hey it's fine bro." Ronnie Anne smiled. She then frowned. "But that was no reason for me to bully you, people person, tiny crush, or not."
"Apology accepted." Lincoln smiled.
"And Lincoln?"
Everyone turned to Lori, who was looking very guilty. She walked over to Lincoln and knelt down to his level.
"Lincoln… I am extremely sorry for what I did that day." Lori said in guilt. "I should've remembered that you didn't know that Ronnie Anne was Bobby's sister. And I should've listened to your side of the story. Instead I let my anger and get the better of me. I pressured you into going on a date with Ronnie Anne just so me and Bobby could get back together. We should've just talked things out." Lori began to tear up. "And I should never have threatened you with that end table. There is no excuse for my behavior right there. I can't imagine what would've happened if I went farther than that. Our sisters are right. I do let my relationship with Bobby get in the way of my relationship with my family. And it went too far that day. I was only thinking of myself. I should've stood up for you when those five twerps were teasing you. I am so sorry for my behavior. I understand that if old wounds opened up again from this episode you can't forgive me."
To Lori's surprise, Lincoln hugged her tightly.
"Apology accepted." he said. "That was all I wanted to hear."
Lori, still taken aback, eventually smiled and hugged back. Everyone smiled at the scene.
"But don't think you're getting out of a talking to when we get back, young lady." Rita said sternly.
"Yes Mom." said Lori.
"Besides." said Lincoln. "You have gotten a lot better since then. And I can't hold a grudge about it, considering that I was at fault too."
"Well at least all five of you learned your lessons." said Frida.
"Especially the one about their being two sides to every story." added Lynn Sr.
"No, there's three." corrected Carlos as he turned to Bobby and Ronnie Anne. "There's your side, (turns to Lincoln) and there's your side, (he gestures to the screen) and then there's the truth." (1)
"True that Carlos." said Arturo.
"Now that everything is sorted out, let's see what's next," said Maria.
Everyone turned to the screen once more. As they did, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's hands briefly touched. They pulled back when they realized and blushed and chuckled sheepishly as they faced the screen again.
It seemed that while they said that they were just friends and nothing more, something inside them said otherwise.
