"Hermione?" someone's voice asked. Hermione looked up from her book. She was currently sitting on the sofa in the Burrow's living room. Percy was sitting at the kitchen table, but apart from that, there was no one else in the house. All of them had gone out to play a game of Quidditch. At least, she thought they had.

"Mr Weasley?" she replied, seeing who was speaking to her. "What can I do for you?"

"Oh, please, call me Arthur," he told her. Hermione was pretty sure she was never going to do that, but nodded nonetheless. She carefully placed her bookmark and put her book down as Mr Weasely sat down next to her. "I hope you don't mind, but I couldn't help but borrow one of your books."

"One of my books?" Hermione asked again, unsure. She hadn't noticed any of her books disappearing, but she still didn't like the fact that someone had taken her books without her permission.

At her mildly accusing tone, the older man blushed and instantly began to explain himself, "Ron said you wouldn't mind and—"

She frowned. "Well, no offence, sir, but I don't think Ron is entitled to—" Her speech faltered as she saw what book he was talking about. Her Muggle Studies textbook. "Oh, yes, of course," she dismissed, "No problem."

"Great!" he exclaimed. "Now, I have a question."

Hermione quickly understood why he had come to speak to her and reveal he had taken her book. Mr Weasley had always been obsessed with all things Muggle, which Hermione liked, but he constantly got things wrong, and seemed to be amazed by the strangest things. Rubber ducks, for example, had left him flabbergasted for days. "Of course." She couldn't possibly care less about that book.

Hermione watched him struggle to flip to the right page in the textbook. Finally, after some fumbling, he managed to show her a picture, on page 394. Spacesuit, the title read, and there was indeed a picture of the strange white overalls the astronauts wore. "Could you explain what this is?" he asked.

She looked over at the page. "That's a spacesuit," she told him.

"I know its name," he said, "But what does it do?"

"Humans have to wear them to go into space," she said simply, unsure of what he specifically was asking.

"Go into space," Mr Weasley repeated, looking back over the page in awe. "As in, space space? The thing with the stars and the moon?"

"Yes?" Hermione replied, slightly confused too, now. Wasn't this something wizards also had done?

"Muggles can go into space?" he said, complete shock in his voice.

Hermione felt her mouth drop open slightly in shock. "Can't wizards?" she asked.

"No! Wow. And is this new technology?"

"No. It's been about forty years since we managed to send men on the moon."

"On the MOON?" he exclaimed.

Hermione couldn't help but burst out laughing, completely amazed by Mr Weasley' excitement. She was also surprised that despite the incredible power of magic, wizards still hadn't been able to get into space or the moon. It was 1993 after all! The moon landing was common knowledge.

She sombred when she thought about the ignorance of wizards. Hermione, though she hated Muggle Studies, knew the textbook off by heart. True, there was a page or two on the incredible scientific progress of Muggles, but the book was mostly dedicated to trivial things like how to shop at Tesco's. It was this sort of misinformation on Muggles that led to hate and wars, but she didn't comment upon she continued to answer Mr Weasley's onslaught of questions.

"Tell me more about these spacesuits," he told her.

She smiled. "I might have a book or two about space in my bag, let me go and get them."

Hermione began to head up the stairs to her room when she heard him exclaim: "Spacesuits, and now rocket-ships?"

Mr Weasley's amazement made her feel glad. For the moment, she could only show him how amazing Muggles were, but she hoped that one day, she would be able to show all of wizardkind.
