"This is an official Gym Battle between Gym Leader, Clay and Iris from the Village of Dragon! This battle is going to be a three-on-three Pokemon Battle!" inform a male judge
"Your master told us that you are going to be the next Gym Leader for his gym" inform Clay
"That right!" nodded Iris
"Then let see yer skill is good enough to be a Gym Leader" Clay pop a Pokeball
Shannon who is holding on Axew and Poipole are sitting with Gladion to watch the battle over the sideline," Good luck! Iris!"
"Axew!"
"Peeeee!"
"Trainers send out your Pokemon!"
"Krookodile! You are up first!" Clay throw the Pokeball that summon a crocodilian like Pokemon," Kroook!"
"So, Clay's Krokorok evolved!" shocked Iris as Shannon look up her Pokedex.
[Krookodile the Intimidation Pokemon and the evolved form of Krokorok: Ground and Dark-type: It can expand the focus of its eyes, enabling it to see objects in the far distance as if it were using binoculars.]
Iris throw a Pokeball," I choose you! Archen!"
"Arch!"
"Iris is using Archen!" shocked Shannon
"That good thing!" inform Gladion," Since Ground-type move don't work against Flying-type Pokemon"
"Begin the battle!"
Iris," Archen use Wing Attack!" Archen's wing glow white and fly toward Krookodile.
"A weak attack won't work against my Pokemon!" snapped Clay," Krookodile! Aqua Tail!" Krookodile's tail becomes surrounded in a light blue aura, with water swirling around the tip, it spins around which let it tail to hit the First Bird Pokemon causing it to send flying in mid-air. But Archen manage to recover in mid-air and shake it head.
"Are you okay? Archen?" asked Iris
"Arch!"
"That cause a lot of damage to Archen!" warned Gladion
"What you mean?" asked Shannon
"Peee?"
"Axew?"
"Water-type move is super effective against Rock-type Pokemon like Archen!" explain Gladion," To think Clay's Krookodile know a Water-type move!"
"Ha!" laugh Clay," Just because we Gym Leaders only use certain type of Pokemon, doesn't mean we don't know how to work past their weakness! Rock Slide!" Krookodile creates white sparkles in a ring above its head, which then turn into rocks with white outlines along the creases. It then throws the rocks at the opponent.
"Dodge them and use Wing Attack once more!" shouted Iris as Archen manage to fly over the rocks causing them to miss their target. Archen fly closer to Krookodile with his wing's glow white.
"Didn't you learn your first mistake!" remind Clay," Krookodile use Aqua Tail!" Krookodile's tail becomes surrounded in a light blue aura, with water swirling around the tip causing Iris to smile," Actually I did! Archen use Double Team!" Sudden Arche make copy of itself causing Krookodile to be shock. As the birds come closer to Krookodile who have no choice to attack one of them. But it hit a clone causing the real one to use his wings to hit Krookodile in the head.
"Good now use Rock Throw!" shouted Iris as Archen summon bunch of white orbs that turn into rocks and throw them at Krookodile which only hurt it a little bit.
"Enough of this!" snapped Clay," Krookodile use Fire Fang!" Krookodile's mouth is on fire and jump toward the flying Archen who startled causing a light blue waves of energy start swirling around Archen. It then fires a light blue beam of energy from its mouth at Krookodile. The beam push Krookodile into the ground cause it to be fainted making the Gym Leader to be shock," What!?"
"Krookodile is unable to battle! The winner is Archen!"
"Iris that was Dragon Breath!" cheered Shannon
"Axew!"
"Peeee!"
"Archen learn a new move!" inform Gladion
"That awesome! Archen!" smiled Iris
"Archen!" smiled back the First Bird Pokemon
Clay return his Krookodile back to its Pokeball and took out another one," You won the first match by luck! But the next battle won't be easy as the first one! Go! Seismitoad!"
"Sei!"
"Archen! Return!" Iris took out another Pokeball," Another one of Clay's Pokemon evolved!" Iris throw the Pokeball that summon her Bagon while Shannon took out her Pokedex.
[Seismitoad the Vibration Pokemon and the evolved form of Palpitoad: Water and Ground-type: It increases the power of its punches by vibrating the bumps on its fists. It can turn a boulder to rubble with one punch.]
"Another one that look strong" warned Shannon
"I hope Iris's Bagon can defeat that Pokemon" worried Gladion
"Begin the battle!"
Iris," Bagon use Headbutt!" Bagon jump and try to headbutt at Seismitoad
"Use Ice Punch!" shouted Clay as Seismitoad pulls one of its fists back and its fist is surrounded by a light blue icy glow. The toad like Pokemon then punches the attacking Bagon. The force is so strong Bagon hit the ground causing his trainer to be shock," Are you okay? Bagon"
"Bagon!"
"This is bad!" warned Gladion
"Yeah, Ice-type move are super effective agaisnt Dragon-type Pokemon!" added Shannon
"Axew!"
"Peeeeee!"
"I bet you didn't see that coming that one of my Pokemon know an Ice-type move!" smiled Clay," Seismitoad use Earthquake!" Seismitoad's body glows gold, and the ground all around it starts to shake causing Bagon to lose his balance.
"Bagon!" worried Iris
"Now your chance Ice Punch!" shouted Clay as Seismitoad run toward Bagon with his light blue glow fist.
"This is bad!" warned Gladion," If Bagon get hit by that attack again, it will be all over!"
"Bagon!" worried Shannon
"Axew!"
"Peeeee!"
"Get up! Bagon!" begged Iris, but Bagon have trouble standing up causing Seismitoad to punch Bagon's head which made Clay and Seismitoad smile. Suddenly Bagon started to glow blue making Clay and Seismitoad's smile turn into a shock face," What!?"
"Seism!?"
"Bagon is..." shocked Gladion
"Evolving!" added Shannon
"Axew!"
"Peeeee!"
Iris smile as her Bagon turn into a quadrupedal Pokemon that resembles a pupal stage. There are bone structures covering its body, which form a shell with two openings and three ridges on top. One opening is in front, revealing two yellow eyes, while the other opening is in the back," Shelgon!
"Shelgon!" smiled Iris as Shannon check her Pokedex.
[Shelgon the Endurance Pokemon and the evolved form of Bagon: Dragon-type: Within its rugged shell, its cells have begun changing. The shell peels off the instant it evolves.]
The toad like Pokemon stare at his new evolved opponent. Shelgon glows blue and becomes surrounded in a light blue reflective shield. It then slams at its opponent.
"What are you okay?" asked Clay
Seismitoad knee down," Sei!"
"That was Zen Headbutt!" inform Gladion
"A new move!" added Shannon," Amazing!"
"Axew!"
"Peeeee!"
"That awesome, Shelgon!" cheered Iris
"Shelgon!" nodded the Endurance Pokemon
"Now use Zen Headbutt again!" shouted Iris as Shelgon glow blue and becomes surrounded in a light blue reflective shield. He charges at the toad like Pokemon.
"You shouldn't be so reckless even your Pokemon just evolve or did you forgot the move that Seismitoad can use!" warned Clay," Ice Punch!"
Seismitoad's fist glow light blue and punch the attacking Shelgon. But the forces of Shelgon manage to push back the punch causing Shelgon to hit Seismitoad's stomach which make Clay shocked," What!?"
"I didn't forget!" Iris pointed at Clay," You see Shelgon are known for having strong defense due of their shell!"
"Shel!"
"That part is true" nodded Gladion," As I expect from a trainer raised in the Village of Dragons"
"Yeah, we trainers from the Village of Dragons always knows each Dragon-type Pokemon's special skill" agreed Shannon
"Shelgon use Zen Headbutt once more!" shouted Iris
Shelgon slam into Seismitoad once more with the same blue aura causing Seismitoad to fall down backward with two black swirls.
"Seismitoad is unable to battle! The winner is Shelgon!"
"Yeah!" Iris jump into the air," Two in a row!"
"Shelgon!"
"Keep it up! Iris!" cheered Shannon
"Just one more and she win the match!" remind Gladion happily
"Axew!"

"That badge is good for the taken!" warned Iris
"Not when I have something to do with that!" Clay throw his Pokeball to summon his last Pokemon to battle," Go! Excadrill!"
"Exc!"
"Clay have a Excadrill just like Iris!" Shannon check her Pokedex
[Excadrill the Subterrene Pokemon and the evolved form of Drillbur: Ground and Steel-type: More than 300 feet below the surface, they build mazelike nests. Their activity can be destructive to subway tunnels.]
"And it is Clay's ace Pokemon!" warned Gladion
"Shelgon! Return!" Iris switch Pokeball," Druddigon, I choose you!"
"Druuuu!"
"Let the battle begin!"
"Excadrill use Rock Slide!" shouted Clay as Multiple stones appear in front of Excadrill in the shape of a ring. It then puts its hands forward, sending the stones flying towards the opponent.
"Destroy them by using Dragon Tail!" shouted Iris as Druddigon's tail glow blue and smash all the stones into tiny pieces. The Cave Pokemon smash the last stone, Excadrill appear with a Drill Run attack which hit Druddigon cause her to force back.
"Are you okay? Druddigon?" asked Iris
"Drrrrr!"
"Look your Excadrill got lot stronger! I wish I brought my Excadrill so he can battle yours!" smiled Iris
"I would like that!" replied Clay," But you have to battle with you got! Excadrill use Drill Run once more!"
Excadrill jumps into the air and holds out its arms. It then spins its body rapidly and dives forward the opponent with the protrusion sticking out of its head.
"Counter by using Dragon Tail!" shouted Iris as the Cave Pokemon's tail glow blue again and swing her tails at the attacking Excadrill, but the mole-like Pokemon is too strong causing the attack to be hit. Druddigon fly toward the ground causing Iris to be shock," Druddigon!"
"Excadrill's Drill Run is too strong!" warned Gladion
"Iris!" worried Shannon
"Peee!" "Axew..." Axew and Poipole is worry as well
"That Drill Run attack..." thought Iris," We need to figure out how to counter it!"
"I manage to turn this around!" warned Clay," Excadrill use Drill Run!"
Excadrill jump toward at the Cave Pokemon once more.
"Excadrill is using Drill Run again!" warned Shannon
"Iris need to think something fast!" added Gladion
As the mole-like Pokemon is coming closer to Druddigon which cause Iris to smile," Druddigon hold your ground and caught Excadrill!" The Cave Pokemon did what her trainer said to do. She caught Excadrill with both of her hands, the attack drags back Druddigon, but she manages to held her ground causing the Gym Leader to be shock," What!? I-impossible!"
"Now throw Excadrill up in the air!" shouted Iris
Druddigon throw the mole like Pokemon in the air causing Excadrill to come out into its original form which shock Clay even more," Excadrill!"
"Alright Druddigon, now our chance!" Iris cross her arms which her Druddigon do as well. Both Pokemon and Trainer copy each other movement," Dragon's Wish blessed us with the power of the fire zenith! INFERNO OVERDRIVE!" Druddigon gathers a large ball of yellow-orange fire in front of its head and launches it at midair Excadrill.
"EXCADRILL!" Clay see his Pokemon fall toward the ground hard with two black swirls.
"Excadrill is unable to battle! Since that is Gym Leader Clay's last Pokemon! Iris and Druddigon is the winner of the match!"
Iris jump on Druddigon's back," Druddigon! We won! And it all thanks to you!"
"Drudd!"
"Yeah! Iris!" Shannon with Axew and Poipole clap for Iris," Axew!" "Peeeeee!"
Gladion look at Iris with a smile on his face.
(Outside of the Gym)
"I didn't go easy on you...but you manage to beat me and my powerful Pokemons" Clay hand Iris his Gym Badge," Your master was right about you, young lady and that is why I give you this badge!"
"Thank you!" Iris look at her new Gym Badge and strike a post with the Pokemons she uses for battle." My fifth Gym Badge! I got the Quake Badge!"
"Druddd!"
"Sheeee!"
"Archen!"
