Chapter 31
Six days. Six entire days with no information. Wendy is awake but can't remember anything. The cops are less hopeful of finding him. Levy hasn't eaten or slept in three full days. Everything felt numb to her.
Gajeel told her that he believes it was Sting and Rogue. They also have been missing since the night of the party. The police say they are the main suspects but have no leads to their location.
Guilt tore at her insides. She never should have went to that party. She never should have came to this school. She was heartbroken. Her brothers are in a hotel in the city and her dad drives over everyday to make sure she is okay and to help her look for him.
Keitaro's face is plastered everywhere. There's posters all over, at every store and hospital. The news channels are still showing broadcasts about him once an hour. Now Sting and Rogue's faces are being shown everywhere as possible suspects in Keitaro's kidnapping. Everyone in the dorm is doing their best to help find the little boy.
"Levy, let's go get something to eat. You need to get out of the dorms. I know you can't focus on anything but finding Keitaro, but you need your strength. He needs you to eat and be strong for when he makes it home." Lucy urged her as she rubbed her back.
Levu wiped her eyes and nodded. "Okay. Sitting here, crying isn't going to bring him home. After a quick lunch, I will go asking around again.
Lucy and Levy walked to the diner right off of the campus. Natsu and Gajeel were waiting by the door. Natsu looked at Levy sadly. They sat at a booth inside and ordered some burgers and fries. Levy didn't have much of an appetite but knew she needed to eat if she was going to find her son. They ate in silence.
"So, I have a friend who put a trace on Sting and Rogue's phones. As soon as they make a call or send a text, he will be able to find them." Natsu said casually.
Levy's head snapped up. "Really?! So all we have to do is get their friends to text or call them and wait for a reply!"
"It's not that easy, Shrimp. They haven't replied to anyone's calls or texts in four days. We are trying and we are waiting. I know Sting. He won't be able to resist checking on how you are holding up so he will probably text his friends at Sabertooth in a couple of days at the most."
For the first time in almost a week, Levy felt a little hope. "Thank you so much. I don't know how I would have handled this without the support of all of you."
Gajeel put his arm around her shoulders and hugged her to him. They would have Keitaro back before Christmas. He had to make sure of that.
In Gajeel's pocket, his phone vibrated. Pulling it out, he glanced at the sender and sat up straight.
"It's Rogue!"
Levy gasped."What does it say?!"
Gajeel frowned when he opened it and showed Levy. She jumped up out of the booth and ran out the diner.
"Magnolia General Hospital" -Rogue
