With all eyes on them, Justin and Jocelyn stared each other down as Port began the countdown. "3… 2… 1… FIGHT!" Jocelyn started with a slash with her right arm. Justin parried and went in for a punch to her gut. She dodged that and slashed with her left. Justin took out a dagger from his sleeve and parried that away, and kicked Jocelyn to gain some distance to use his pistol Rhea. Jocelyn transformed her blades into crossbows and fired both bolts at Justin, which he deflected both of them and as he posed both bolts exploded behind him. Justin looked behind him mildly impressed "Still have more of those explosive bolts I gave ya?" He asked. For Jocelyn to reply "And some extra from my team." Justin nodded "Sure, Anyway darlin' time to claim victory!" He yelled as he thrusted forward and performed the million stabs that Justin had copied from Dante. Only for Jocelyn to dodge out of the way and slash at him while he was off guard. Justin dodged it last second and backed up a bit while exclaiming "Woah slow down babe. It's almost like you're trying to kill me." Jocelyn gave a glare and retorted "That's the point."

{The Game- Disturbed}

Justin looked back at her in confusion "Um… what?" She then slashed at him, which he blocked and skidded to a stop a few feet away from Jocelyn. Justin looked back at Jocelyn with a look of betrayal on his face. Jocelyn stared back with no emotion on her face as he asked "Why though? I thought we were going back on the right track?" She smirked "Oh honey, that was to get your guard down. And yet you're still standing. That's annoying." She then pointed her blade at him with a smirk as Justin kept his blade pointed at her. They walked in a circle around each other before Jocelyn said. "Now come on, and fight me like a man!" She then dashed at Justin, whereas Justin did the same. Blades crashing over and over again as Justin parried each strike as Jocelyn became more and more ferocious "This was supposed to be our dream! We joined the huntsmen academies to make the world a better place not to leave it in ruin!" Justin yelled as the blades crashed once more before clashing. "We were supposed to purge the world from evil, not become it!" Justin pleaded, only for Jocelyn to smirk back at him. "The way I see it dear, the Huntsman academies are evil. Brainwashing these children into fighting a war with no end. And those leading humanity into ruin" She retorted. They then crashed blades over and over again. Port ordered the broadcast be cut as Jocelyn pushed Justin away skidding to a stop. She then attacked with Justin parrying the blades away before clashing again "Why not join us, we can make everyone pay for the misery they put us through." Jocelyn offered, only for Justin to retort "My allegiance is to humanity, to democracy!" Jocelyn looked at him disappointed, "Shame." She then threw him off balance. Jocelyn fired two bolts at him, whereas Justin fired back two bullets which changed the direction of the bolts as well as the bullets.

Both bolts exploded behind Justin, and this time he charged at Jocelyn with his dagger out. Jocelyn charged back at Justin and clashed once more for Justin to deliver one last plea to his now ex fiance "You're tearing me apart Rose!" He said with a saddened look on his face. Only for Jocelyn to respond "Good." She then kicked him away, and slashed at him with her left. Justin disarmed that one, sending it flying away from her. She glared at him as he glared back to the audience's surprise and RWBY's, Aaron, and Keoth's as well. "This doesn't make sense! They made up a few days ago!" Weiss noted. Aaron tried to get into the arena to help his friend only for the hard light barrier to be in his way. Justin and Jocelyn then ran at each other and slashed, and crashed and slowly ticked away at each other's auras as the board showed. "Oobleck cut the broadcast now!" Port demanded "They can't!" Oobleck snapped "It's like they're locked out. They can't cut the broadcast."

Justin and Jocelyn ended up on opposite sides of each other. Both fell to their knees, but Jocelyn got back up quicker than Justin had. They looked at each other and Justin offered her one last chance "We both know what's about to happen, so let me convince you out of whatever they're planning." Jocelyn smiled wickedly at Justin "Oh but babe… You know me, I love chaos." Justin dropped his head "Then you truly are lost." He raised his blade above his head with the tip pointed at Jocelyn. While Jocelyn pointed hers at Justin "Then let this final clash be the deciding factor." She said with a wicked grin. Weiss got up and tried the same thing Aaron did previously but to no avail. "It's no use," Aaron told Weiss "This hard light barrier refuses to give." They then charged at her and Jocelyn's eyes glowed a purple tint as her left arm glowed with her aura. She grabbed Justin by the shoulder depleting him of the rest of his aura as her blade entered his gut. Justin, wide eyed with surprise gave Jocelyn one last look and placed his left hand on her cheek before she drew the blade out. Justin fell to his knees then off to the side. The screens flashed red with the Black Queen symbol on it as Cinder spoke through it. "This is not a tragedy. This is not an accident. This is what happens when you place your trust in men who claim to be our guardians. But are, in reality… nothing more than men. Though she did represent Mistral, she was a student of Beacon academy. Which just begs the question; What is Ozpin teaching his students?" During her speech, Jocelyn walked over to the partner of her weapon and picked it up. She turned both into their compact form and left the arena. "... Honestly I haven't the slightest clue who is right and who is wrong. But I know the existence of peace is fragile. And the leaders conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you; the situation there is… Equally undesirable." Cinder continued as Grimm smelled the fear in people and started heading towards Vale. With everyone in the audience still in shock over the death of a huntsman right in front of their eyes. RWBY alongside Aaron and Keoth were equally as shocked. Aaron didn't know how to think, if he could think at all. Jocelyn killed her own fiance right in front of thousands of witnesses. Something didn't seem right here. He knew in his gut that they would never hurt each other on purpose. "The kingdoms are on the brink of war. And yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark." Two guards who were watching the tournament heard the growling of grimm behind them and started to open fire "So tell me, when the first shots are fired… Who do you think you can trust?" She then cut the broadcast as everyone started shrieking in horror. With the alarm telling them to do the opposite. Ironwood tried to calm everyone down only for a Nevermore to start pecking away at the hard light shield above the arena floor.

Meanwhile in Ozpin's office, Glynda, and Qrow approached Ozpin in a hurry with Qrow shouting "OZ?!" Ozpin turned around and ordered them "Get to the city, and warn Red." Qrow tried to say "But-" However he was cut off by Ozpin shouting "NOW!" Qrow and Glynda exchanged uneasy looks and then ran off.

Up in the airships, the Atlas military were preparing for combat when one of them was taken over by Neopolatin with Aaron in tow. She walked up to where Roman was and opened the cell. Roman smiled at Neo "Well… it's about time…" Soon enough Roman with Aaron and Neo were on the bridge and turned the airship to shoot down two of the other atlesian military ships. Roman laughed with glee "Oh it is good to be back… But um… Neo who's this?" Roman asked as he gestured to Aaron. Neo signed My boyfriend. Now play nice with him. Imma go grab some fresh air. Roman looked at Aaron with an eyebrow raised. He then put two and two together "Wait one moment, YOU?!"

At Beacon's landing pad the White Fang had landed their bullheads with Grimm in them to invade the school with Adam Taurus leading them. Adam ordered "Bring them to their knees!" The white fang alongside the grimm entered the school.

Meanwhile in Amity, Team RWBY rushed to their friend who was bleeding out. Yang rolled him onto his back and Weiss checked his pulse. "It's still beating, but faintly." Weiss said to the others. Ruby had tears rolling down her face "This wasn't supposed to happen…" Ruby said somberly. Blake and Yang held his hands but looked at each other with solemn agreement. He was dying, and if he doesn't get help soon, he'll definitely die. Just then they heard Jaune running from the other end of the arena. "Jaune!" Yang yelled, waving her hand. As soon as Jaune got to them he kneeled down "I've got him from here. You guys go and defend Beacon!" He said as he activated his semblance. At first, Team RWBY didn't want to leave their friend, but Jaune assured them "It's what he'd want." And they nodded in agreement as the Nevermore breached the hardlight barrier. Each of them called their lockers as well as the other huntsmen which pinned the bird in place. With everyone geared up and posing as if it were Avengers Endgame, the nevermore got back up. But with the help of the huntsmen, they managed to make the beast fall. Everyone gathered around the fallen huntsman they came to know as Achilles. Pyrrha knelt next to Jaune and felt for a pulse. "It's weak…" She said somberly." Jaune tried to comfort her. "Don't worry Pyrrha, He should be fine if I'm helping his aura regenerate faster." Pyrrha looked at Achilles face and remembered the last words he spoke to her "He who desires, but acts not, breeds pestilence." She repeated. Weiss tilted her head at Pyrrha "What was that?" She asked. Pyrrha stood back up and fixed her attention to Weiss. "Those were the last words he spoke to me. And now I know what I must do." Suddenly they heard the roar of multiple grimm. Ruby pulled her scroll out and pressed the button to have her weapon delivered to her. She ran for it but was interrupted by a griffen to which Port fired at it with his blunderbuss/axe. "I think it's best for you all to leave." Port said sternly. Ruby tried to protest but Oobleck cut in "This day will go down in Remnant's history, I prefer if my students lived to tell about it." Ruby nodded and grabbed her weapon. Transforming it and stabbed the ground with the back end of Crescent Rose "Everyone. Our friend here would want all of us to fight hard. And take back our school!" Everyone cheered and rushed to the exit to get back onto the ground. JNPR stayed behind to make sure Achilles is alright. Port gave them a soft expression. "JNPR, you must go too." Jaune looked up at Port with a silent plea in his eyes. Port nodded "We will take him to a safe place once you are done." Port offered.

Back on the airship, Aaron and Roman were having an… argument of sorts. "So… Ferret king? Or is it Moon Shadow? Anyway it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're now dating my adopted daughter. Under normal circumstances, I'd tell my boys to flay you like the deer you are. But seeing as we're up in the air and you're helping us. I don't have much of a choice do I?"

Aaron sighed "Dude, Cinder played you like a fiddle. You're gonna die tonight."

Roman glared at him "Oh, is this where I 'get swallowed up by a grimm'?" he retorted.

Aaron shrugged "If you don't wanna take my advice, go right ahead. But there's an airship right ahead of us, I suggest we prepare the weapons."

Roman turned his head to see the Atlesian airship aiming right at the bridge. Roman immediately went for the weapons systems and fired at the incoming Atlesian ship. Roman glared at Aaron "At least you're somewhat useful." He stated distastefully.

Meanwhile, on Amity, Grimm ran rampant on the students that were trying to escape. Ironwood, rather displeased by the events taking place, took aim at one of them with his gun, Due Process, at one of the grimm and fired as he addressed the students in front of him "You have two choices. Either defend your kingdom and your school. Or save yourselves." He then walked back into his airship. "No one will fault you if you leave." Everyone agreed in unison to go to Beacon.

Meanwhile on the ground Glynda and Qrow fended off multiple grimm. With Qrow grimacing "Gee if only Red didn't decide to go MIA after we met up with him!" He yelled sarcastically. Glynda smacked another grimm against a wall. And just as another grimm was about to attack Qrow from behind. It vanished, leaving Winter Schnee behind it. Qrow chuckled at her "Well well Ice Queen. I didn't expect to see your face here." he said in a mocking tone. Winter rolled her eyes at him "Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have saved you just then." She then pushed Qrow out of her way. Qrow then looked at Glynda and childishly said "She likes me, she just doesn't want to admit it." Glynda rolled her eyes.

Meanwhile. Ruby split off from her team and told Yang to stay with Weiss and Blake as she made her way onto the airship that Roman, Aaron, and Neo were occupying when Roman heard a noise. He told Neo to go and check it out as he placed the Black Queen virus into the ship's computer. Which turned all robots hostile towards the survivors. Including Qrow, Glynda, Winter, and Ironwood. Neo made it to the roof to see Ruby. She snapped a picture and sent it to Roman who received it and groaned annoyed by the fact she keeps on appearing. "Come on Ferret King." he groaned as he got his cane and walked to where Neo was.

Meanwhile back on the ground. Yang, Blake, and Weiss fought off wave after wave of robots. The trio noticed that a paladin was attacking civilians and noticing an alpha beowolf was entering via bullhead. The trio nodded at each other and Weiss told them "Be safe you two." They then ran past the cafeteria, where Blake saw something from her past. The thing she didn't want to see. Adam Tarus, right there. Adam smiled at her with cruel intentions. "Hello my darling." He said with his voice dripping with venom. Meanwhile there were huntsmen fighting hordes of grimm with Cinder, Emerald, Mercury, and Jocelyn watching them. "It's almost sad." Emerald noted. "Downright Horrendous." Cinder added with Mercury recording everything. "Make sure to focus on the Atlesian Knights." She told Mercury. "Oh I'm getting all of it." Mercury replied, soaking up the moment. Just then there was a quake. "And make sure to not miss what happens next." Cinder said as she casually walked towards the CCT tower.

Off in the distance, a mountain cracked and then out sprung the Wyvern. And it started flying towards Vale and Beacon. Ruby saw this from the Airship she was on while she was fighting Neo. Meanwhile Roman and Aaron had a conversation. "-And I swear if you did anything inappropriate to her while I was locked in that airship I will make you pay!" Aaron had his hands in his pockets and shrugged at Roman as he finished his rant. He then said "you can blame her for that. Dragged me to Love and War once, and kidnaped me from time to time." Roman growled at Aaron and proceeded to attack him with his weapon. Aaron brought out the blade of Judas Priest that he had hidden in his jacket and charged the electricity dust he had in his jacket. Which sent a volt of electricity into Roman's hand, causing him to recoil. "Alright smartass… You wanna play that way?" Roman said with a threatening undertone.

Meanwhile, back on the ground, the huntsmen were holding off the paladin which was easily able to repel their attacks and then some. So Coco told Velvet "Now's as good a time as any." Velvet looked excited. "Really?" She asked. Coco smiled at her "Just make it count." Velvet nodded and walked up to the paladin much to Weiss' protests. She then went beast mode on it. Using every weapon she took pictures of including that of Achilles' Porfyrós Drákos and twin pistols Kronos and Rhea. And Moon's Judas Priest. She mimicked both fighting styles effectively and managed to weaken the paladin. However Weiss managed to summon her Arma Gigis. And repealed the paladin and defeated it. Then another one showed up to Sun's dismay.

Meanwhile, in what was once the cafeteria. Blake and Yang did their best to subdue Adam, only for Adam to counter every one of their attacks. Adam sighed in annoyance "You know… I never thought you of all people would work side by side with a human of all things. You really disappoint me." Blake got up and held Yang back "I never wanted this Adam! I wanted equality. Peace!" She then fired two quick shots which Adam deflected "What you want is impossible!" He yelled. Yang got up from being launched as Adam spoke once more "But I understand… because all I want… is you, Blake" He then kicked Blake's weapon out of her hand. "And as I set out upon this world and deliver the justice mankind so greatly deserves…" He then knelt down to her and whispered "I will make it my mission to destroy everything you love." Yang got up with her eyes red. Blake looked at Yang worryingly, which Adam noticed and smirked "Starting with her." He then took his blade out and stabbed Blake. Which caused Yang to activate her semblance. And as she flew at Adam in a fit of rage, Adam got ready to take a swing when, out of nowhere, Achilles (Also known as Justin), their friend, showed up and flew right between Yang and Adam with his weapon in the mordhau grip. Which sent Adam flying, and Achilles landing not so gracefully alongside him. Achilles got up and pointed his blade at Adam and said "Leave. Them. Alone." Adam got up and stared at the new figure. With half his mask cracked revealing his piercing blue eye.

Meanwhile, Ozpin alongside JNPR were down in the vault as Ozpin frantically tried to transfer Amber's aura into Pyrrha. Which apparently hurt Pyrrha like crazy. Jaune was about to go into protective boyfriend mode, before Ren stopped him "Remember, we need to keep an eye out." Ren reminded, Jaune nodded at Ren and kept his shield forward. Cinder came in and smirked at their cute attempt. She then fired an arrow, and as Jaune tried to block it the arrow shattered itself and reassembled around Jaune hitting Amber in the process, giving Cinder the rest of the maiden's power and Pyrrha having what remained.
