"I found them" Kara says the next morning as they walk into the living room to see Caleb, Ty, Charlie, and David laying in the living room
"Well where are Tim, Michael and Quinn at?" Caroline says as she looks around
"Found them" Lisa says walking back down the hall "Apparently they ended up in the spare bedroom" she says coming back into the living room "I didn't realize Scott went with them, he was in there too"
"I'm guessing it was a wild night" Lou says as she walks into the door "I found Mitch asleep out in the barn, apparently he didn't make it to the house"
"Yea Aunt Cass" Lyndy says as she walks into the living room "I think we found them all now and" she says as she walks over to the couch where Caleb and Ty are cuddling each other "And Dad and Uncle Caleb look real comfortable" she says continuing "Alright, yea I'll come over and cover for them till they can get there" she says as she smiles "Okay love you too" she says hanging up the phone turning to the others "So Dad was supposed to come and relieve Aunt Cass at the clinic this morning but till him and Uncle Scott can get there, I'm going to go over and cover" she says before turning to Lou "Then you, I and Kara can go and pick up the last of the decorations" she says looking at all the guys "And I guess with this, do what you have to" she says before walking back through the kitchen
"Should we just wake them up" Kara says as she walks toward Charlie to shake him on the shoulder "Hon" she says as Caroline comes over
"Actually Kara, I have a better idea" Caroline says with a grin as Lisa and Lou also look at her with a curious look
A little while later Lyndy walks out to where a woman is standing in the office of the vet clinic "Here you go Mrs. Marshall, a dozen west nile vaccines" she says handing a container to her "I just need you to sign the form"
"So I hear your getting married soon" Mrs. Marshall says as Lyndy types something into the laptop
"Yea" Lyndy says as she looks at her "Tomorrow in fact"
"You know I remember you when you were just a little thing coming here with your dad" Mrs. Marshall says smiling at her "And now you're all grown up and getting married" she says continuing to look at her "I'm sure you're going to make a beautiful bride sweetheart"
"Thank you" Lyndy says smiling at her "Come on I'll show you out" she says getting up as they walk toward the door as she looks as Ty comes in the door followed by Kara
"I'm telling you it wasn't my idea" Kara says as she follows Ty in as he puts his bag down "It was Caroline, who apparently has a bit of a mean streak to her"
"What's going on?" Lyndy says as she follows them back into the office "Oh dad you look" she says as Ty gives her a look "great" she says as Kara smiles at her "I guess it's a good thing that we decided not to do the bachelor and bachelorette party tonight, since I imagine David isn't doing much better than you" she says continuing "What happened last night anyway"
"Don't ask" Ty says as he looks at her "Or about how we got woken up this morning" he says turning back to look at Kara
"Alright" Lyndy says as she looks at Ty and then back at Kara "Let's go get Aunt Lou and go after those decorations and get back over to the house"
Later that night Lyndy is sitting in her room holding a picture as Caroline comes up knocking on the door "Come in" Lyndy says as Caroline opens the door "Hey" Lyndy says continuing to sit on the bed as she sees that it is Caroline
"Hi" Caroline smiles as she comes walking into the room "So big day for you tomorrow"
"Yea" Lyndy says as Caroline sits down on the bed by her
"Well you don't sound very excited" Caroline says as she rubs her back "What's going on?" she says before looking at the picture of Amy holding Lyndy when she was little as she takes a breath
"I've just been thinking a lot about my mom lately" Lyndy says as she looks at her "Especially the last few days as the wedding approaches" she says continuing as Caroline rubs her back "I keep thinking about how she isn't here to do all the mother and daughter things for tomorrow, the advice she would have given me" she says continuing "And when Kara got married seeing her and her mom before the wedding, I would by lying if I said I wasn't a little jealous" she says as Caroline continues to look at her "And then I got to thinking how it isn't just my wedding that my mom isn't going to be at, I've worked hard these last few years to become a vet, and she isn't going to even be there to see that"
"Lyndy come here" Caroline says as she extends her arms as Lyndy puts her head on her shoulder "Now I know I'm not your mom, and I would never want to try and replace her" she says as Lyndy looks at her "But I'm sure your mom would be just as proud of you as I am right now"
"Thanks Caroline" Lyndy says as she looks at her "I'm really glad you're here"
"I'll always be here for you" Caroline says as she smiles at her "But right now I think you need to get some sleep for tomorrow" she says as Lyndy begins to climb under the covers as Caroline begins to walk toward the door
"Caroline wait" Lyndy says as Caroline flips back around to look at her
"Yea sweetie" Caroline says as she looks at Lyndy
"What did you do to dad and them this morning" Lyndy says as Caroline smiles at her as she walks back toward her
The next evening Kara is standing in Lyndy's room with her as she looks in the mirror as Lyndy is standing in her wedding gown "You look great" Kara says as she grins at Lyndy
"Are you kidding?" Ty says as Kara and Lyndy both turn around as he is standing in the doorway "She looks just as beautiful as her mom did in that dress"
"I'll see you down there" Kara says as she goes past Ty and out the door as Lyndy continues to look at Ty
"I'm ready" Lyndy says as she continues to smile at him as Ty just looks at her "Dad are you okay?"
"Yea sweetheart I'm fine" Ty says as his voice begins to crack "I just can't believe my little girl is all grown up and getting married"
"Dad" Lyndy says as she walks over to him "No matter how old I get or where I go, I'll always be your little girl"
"I love you" Ty says as he continues to grin at Lyndy
"I love you too" Lyndy says as she smiles at him "So are you ready?"
"Yea let's go" Ty says as he takes Lyndy's arm as they walk out of the room
A while later Lyndy and David are standing in front of the pastor in the living room full of people as they read their vows
"David" Lyndy says as she stands smiling at him "I make you a promise today that I will stand with you in good times and comfort you in the bad times. I will share your dreams and to support you as you strive to achieve all of your dreams. I will listen with compassion and understanding and will speak encouragement to you. As we begin to build a home together filled with love and laughter. And I promise to love only you for as long as we both shall live"
"Lyndy" David says as he looks at her "Before I met you I didn't know anything was missing in my life. But I was wrong, and you came into my life when I needed you the most. And as we go through this life together, I know that you're the only one I want in my life. I promise to learn and grow beside you as changes in our life come. To laugh and cry with you in both the good and the bad. To be your comforter and rock throughout our life together. And to love you for the rest of our lives."
"May I have the rings please" the pastor says as he looks at Kara and Charlie as they had him the rings "David please place this ring on Lyndy's finger and repeat after me" he says handing David the ring "Lyndy I give you this ring as a daily reminder of my love for you"
"Lyndy" David says with a smile on his face "I give you this ring as a daily reminder of my love for you" he says as he slips the ring on her finger
"And Lyndy" the pastor says as he looks over at Lyndy "Place this ring on David's finger and repeat after me" he says continuing "David I give you this ring as a daily reminder of my love for you"
"David" Lyndy says as she smiles back "I give you this ring as a daily reminder of my love for you" she says as she slips the ring onto David's finger
"Now by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife" the pastor says as Lyndy and David both smile at each other "You may kiss each other" he says as David and Lyndy lean in for the kiss as everyone stands and cheers
A while later Ty walks over to fireplace "If I could get everyone's attention please" he says as everyone turns around to him "There is one more thing we need to do to make this marriage complete" he says continuing "Now not only could Amy not be here with us today, but we are also missing another vital piece" he says as everyone continues to look at him "As most of you know we lost Jack, Lyndy's GG a few months ago, but I think I've seen him do this enough times to know what I'm doing"
"Don't mess up Ty" Tim says grinning as Lisa nudges him in the side
"This started out as a Bartlett tradition Jack's family" Ty says beginning to speak "But it has slowly formed into our family's tradition as well" he says turning to look toward the fire place "As a tradition as old as this ranch" he says continuing "David now that you are officially part of our family, and I am so proud to say that it's time for you to pick a stone" he finishes saying as David and Lyndy walk forward
"Which one is yours sweetheart?" David says as he looks over at Lyndy
"This one right here above mom and dad's" Lyndy says as she points to her stone
"Is this one taken?" David says as he points to the stone beside Lyndy's
"Um not according to the diagram it isn't" Lisa says as she smiles at them as everyone laughs
"Oh we really have this stuff written down" Lou says as she also looks at them
"I think what they are trying to say" Ty says as he turns back around to David and Lyndy "Is that this is now officially the David Mitchell stone" he says as everyone claps
"So you did remember the key to the cabin this time didn't you?" Ty says later as him and Tim are standing in the kitchen washing dishes as Lou, Lisa and Caroline are sitting at the kitchen table
"Yes I remembered the key" Lou says as she looks at him "I'm never going to live that down am I"
"Not a chance" Ty says as Lou gives him a look as he continues to wash the dishes
