Epilogue
Three months have passed since getting Blake's stuff from Vestroia and four months since Zenoheld's death. Vestal was getting quickly on its feet, regaining the peace that was lost with Zenoheld's rule. Now Vestal was ruled by a government, giving it a different feel.
Blake got accustomed to living on her birth planet after many years of not being there. At first, it felt weird, but I got used to pretty fast. That wouldn't be possible without her rekindled relations with Mira and Keith, especially Keith. If someone had told her the two would be meeting again and start a more serious relationship years ago, she'd scoff at them, telling them to calm their wild imagination.
The whole thing also led her to meet with new people like Gus, Ace, and Baron. The three were friendly people, but she wouldn't call them her friends yet, but more of acquaintances, but that didn't mean she disliked their company.
Even if she stayed most of the time on Vestal, that didn't mean not going to Earth anymore. On occasions, she sneaked on Earth to meet with Pandora and their other friends who showed once in a blue moon, J, Jean, and Ethan. Things were pretty awkward at first due to not seeing each other for years, but the group worked things out the best way they can considering Blake's and J's hostile attitudes towards one another. Despite those minor obstacles, the meeting was enjoyed.
When Blake was back at Vestal, she most of the time stayed in her now furnished mansion reading books or being flopped on a surface looking like a melting jelly that was lazy and ending up asleep. Finally, an action that she enjoyed. No more nightmares or urges not to sleep. Whenever she got the chance, she'd sleep in hopes of making up for the lost hours of sleep through the years, even though deep down she knew it was impossible.
Keith was trying to figure out ways for Helios to evolve like Drago, of course, with the help of Gus further, but because of Helios's cyber parts, it was harder and slower to do so. On occasion, Blake and Mira went helped but mostly with extra input.
Some failed attempts and iron patience later paid off at the end as he found a way to evolve Helios, but he wouldn't do it now as he was exhausted, and every bit of energy he had was leaving his body.
In the meantime, Blake was giving her motorbike some minor repairs in her mansion's garage. Once she was satisfied, she went to her room, stripping off her clothes, getting her PJs, and then talking with Reaper for a while before falling asleep.
After she woke up, she ate and went to her living room to read one of the many books she owned.
Time was passing, and it was becoming darker. Blake was tidying up her outfit for her plan. She wore the clothes she wore under her Vexos attire not so long ago – tight-fitting black leather pants with a silver belt, a black turtleneck, and combat boots. Because she was feeling good, she decided to go with a turtleneck crop top that showed a generous amount of her stomach area result in half of her rose garden tattoo being visible. The last time she wore a crop top was when she teleported to Earth with Spectra and Gus, albeit on a different location. The thought made her chuckle. She grabbed a double rider leather jacket with white accents.
Reaper was nearby. The two exchanged a few words, mostly Reaper telling his brawler to be safe, to which she nods and goes towards her motorbike, leaving Reaper alone in the mansion.
Blake was riding her motorbike while enjoying the night scenery of Vestal. Despite being dark, the buildings were bright enough to illuminate everything creating a relaxing atmosphere.
Blake reached one of the residential areas where she was going to pick Keith up.
Once she noticed him from a distance, she prepared to stop the vehicle.
Blake smiled at the sight of him dressed similarly like her. Wearing tight leather black pants with tiny studs around the pocket areas, combat boots, a body-hugging dark royal purple shirt with a v neck that at first glance looked black, and a moto racer leather jacket in bright red with some crimson red accents on the shoulders. (for reference, check my bakujuly day 1 post to see how the upper part looks like)
Keith smiled at her too. Blake continued to stare at him like he was eye-candy, to which he chuckled, getting Blake's attention for the most part. She averted her gaze to hide her embarrassment, and Keith using the moment to sit behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist. Blake rolled her eyes before the two left.
The ride was quiet. When they reached one of the more abandoned places on Vestal, which resembled a desert to extend, Blake parked the motorbike, and they slid off the vehicle.
Blake put her hand in his and head, touching his shoulder. The two stayed for a while like that until Blake's legs gave up and sat.
Keith chuckled and sat near her. The two were too close to each other, staring at the night scenery.
Keith was distracted, and Blake used the moment to hug him from behind as a playful "payback" every time he had surprised her on the Vestal Destroyer or when she was spaced out.
Keith's body jumped slightly by the touch but smiled nonetheless.
Blake retained most of her poker face, but smugness could be felt from it, which led to Keith rolling his eyes at her.
The two stayed for a while until they decided to head back to their respective homes.
The two then got on the motorbike, leaving until everything became a dot in the distance.
