Author's Note: So this story is almost wrapped up. I have one more chapter after this that I am still working on, but hopefully it won't take long. I am sorry to see the story coming to a close, but I have other tales that I am excited to tell. Read on and leave me some love down at the bottom.

The night seemed to fly by. After the ceremony everyone gathered in the ballroom. Sookie and I wandered around chatting with everyone before sitting down to our wedding feast. Sookie had requested popular southern food: gumbo, jambalaya, shrimp etouffee, crawfish, dirty rice and a strawberry wedding cake with vanilla buttercream covered in chocolate covered strawberries. There was also benguits at my Lover's request. It was all delicious and everyone seemed pleased and in excellent spirits.

Before my wife could start on her third plate, I pulled her out onto the dance floor for our first dance. The DJ cued up the song that I'd chosen, "Amazed" by Lonestar. I thought that it was fitting since this woman, my love, my wife amazes me every single day.

We swayed and turned around the dance floor lost in each other. As the song was coming to an end, Sookie's expression change. "What's the matter Love"

"Do you trust me Eric?"

"You know I do."

"When the song ends I need you to follow me and not ask any questions. We need to let things happen, but I want you to know it's for the best."

Before I could ask what she meant, the song ended. Sookie took my arm and led me down one of the empty corridors. Normally I would have assumed that she was pulling me away for a quick tryst, but I could feel the anxiety coming through our bond. Whatever was about to happen was not going to be good. I would have been more concerned, but I could feel her determination flowing through and I knew she would never do anything to put our children in harm's way.

She pulled us into one of the storage rooms. She let go of my hand and I went to grab her, but she was just out of my reach, plus someone else beat me to it.

A silver net was thrown over my head and I saw a pair of iron handcuffs snap around Sookie's wrists. They didn't seem to have any effect on her, so I tried to contain my rage and anger.

"Sneaking away from your own wedding for a tryst with you vampire great-granddaughter. I would expect nothing less."

"Niall, why are you doing this? The other you sent Eric to save me, now you are trying to kidnap me? Why?"

"My magic has made you more Fae as proven by the spawn you now carry. You are going to be my breeding mare. Our numbers are dwindling and we need a new infusion of magic. Yours will bring a whole new blood line to the Fae realm."

"Over my dead body."

"You are dead vampire. When I'm done I may give her back to you, but she will be useless by then."

"You bastard. She is protected by the Vampire council and the Ancient Pythoness herself. Unless you want hell rained down on you, you'd better let her go."

"I am not a bloodsucker. I do not follow your rules. Sookie is my blood and as the patriarch of the family she is mine to do with as I please."

"I don't fucking think so." I tossed the silver off of me and popped in behind Niall. I grabbed him by the throat and held him dangling in the air. "Lover, are you all right?"

She was quick to pop out of her bindings. "I'm fine." She stepped closer and I could feel her anger flowing through our bond. "All I wanted was a family. I just wanted you to be my granddad. Why couldn't you be happy with that?"

"He's greedy. Always has been." I looked over and the Ancient Pythoness walked in guided by her handmaidens. "You just couldn't leave our granddaughter alone, could you?"

Sookie and I both looked over at her in shock. "What!?"

"I was born a fairy, but I knew that I was never meant to stay one. I have know for millenia what was too become of me and what was to happen on this night. But before I left the Fae realm for good I was blessed with a son. I never got to name him or hold him, but I knew that he would thrive. He had his destiny and I had mine." She paused and stepped up to Niall who was dangling in mid-air. "So grandson, would you rather die by my hand or the Viking's?"

"I am a prince. You have no authority over me."

"Ah, but I do. You say you are the patriarch of the Brigant line, well I am the matriarch of the H'Eloise line. Sookie is more mine than she is yours. She also has a destiny and it is not to be your brood mare. Now me or the Viking?"

"I don't want to die."

"Too bad. Have at him Norseman."

"Yes my lady." I quickly sunk my fangs into his neck and drained him until he was nothing more than a pile of dust at my feet.

I could feel the fairy magic and the bloodlust running through me. I was feral, but I was also afraid. I was partially out of my mind and I didn't want to hurt anyone, especially Sookie. The AP was the one to alleviate my fear. "It's all right Viking, you can't hurt your bride. Take her to your room and relieve your bloodlust. Your guests will be fine." She didn't have to tell me twice.

I scooped my bride up into my arms and popped us up to our room. I set her down next to her bed and instantly backed away as I caught the scent in the room: pure fairy. "Sookie?" I looked up at her through eyes that were slightly out of focus. I could still see that as she stood there her hair was lightening, her skin was becoming more golden and her ears were distinctly pointed now.

"It's all right my love. You need to let go and let this happen."

"I can't. I won't risk hurting you or our children."

"You won't, you can't." I watched my wife pop out of her wedding dress and appeared in front of me. She tried to reach out and touch me, but I backed away still afraid to hurt her no matter what anyone said.

"Eric, Sweetie let go. please. Once we do this, nothing can ever separate us again." She stepped closer to me and I could feel the beast inside of me start to take over.

"Sookie, you need to get back now. If I were to lose control and hurt you I would never forgive myself." The fear was building up inside of me along with the beast, but my Sookie was not afraid of anything.

She smiled at me before she popped into my arms. She wrapped her arms and legs around me as best she could and the scent of fairy filled the air even more. "Fuck me my Viking, my husband, my love. Let us become one, become what we were always suppose to be."

I didn't know what she meant, but I was no longer able to resist my fairy, my lover, my wife any longer. Our lips came together and everything around us became a blur. All that was in focus was us, our bodies coming together, blood and sweat and animialistic noises coming from both of us.

It could have been minutes, hours or even days, but as we came together in a ball of bright white light, I'd never felt so complete in all of my thousand years.

After both of us were panting and exhausted. I dropped us down on the bed and we both slipped into oblivion.

I don't know how long I slept for, but I opened my eyes to my beautiful wife looking down at me with a smile on her face as she stroked my cheek. "Good morning husband."

"Good morning wife." I sat up and looked over at my naked bride. "How badly are you hurt?"

She had the audacity to laugh as she leaned over and kissed me. "I'm not hurt at all. I have never felt better in my life."

"How is that possible?"

"It was what needed to happen and now we are safe and so are our children."

"I don't understand."

She pushed back her hair and showed me her ears that even now were still slightly pointed. My eyes quickly took in the rest of her and she was definitely more Fae now than before and it seemed like it was permanent now. But to the untrained eye you'd never really notice.

I reached out and stroked her cheek and even her skin was softer to the touch now. "How?"

"This is how we were always suppose to be. Your blood and my latent fairy magic mixed together makes me more fairy and you just enough human to make us the perfect couple."

"You said that we are safer now."

"Ah, now that I'm mostly fairy I am actually higher up the royal Fae rung than Niall was. He was a prince by marriage, I am a princess by blood."

"Does this mean that you have to perform royal duties in the Fairy realm?"

"Hell no. There are other relatives that can handle those duties now that he's gone. The Fae will lay down their lives to protect me and our children, but they have more qualified leaders than me."

"You are amazing. But how will you be sure the next in line won't be as much trouble as Niall is?"

"Grandpa Fintan and Gran are going to Fae for awhile to make sure that things are going to run smoothly. They promised they'd be back before the babies are born."

"Lover that's wonderful. Life for us will be perfect from now on."

"No, our lives will be perfect when our babies get here."

"Soon my love, soon."
