From an outsider's perspective, it was rather easy to call Blake Ouroburos emotionless. The truth of the matter was that she did indeed feel emotions, but simply didn't (and some could argue, couldn't) display them in a manner that was easy to tell. Two of the few that could tell the Demi-Dragon Goddess's state of emotions were her mate, Luna Lovegood, and as of late adoptive daughter, Karna.
Something that Blake hadn't told her mate was that Luna wasn't the first person that Blake had a relationship with. While the Demi-Goddess wasn't the first, she was the only one that had lasted for a longer period of time. Blake's previous relationships didn't really last long, a month at the most. Pretty much everyone of her previous relationships either just wanted to get in her pants, keep her as nothing more than a trophy or use the relationship as a means to gain influence in the Khaos Brigade, to which Blake's only real connection was through her mom more or less being the mascot of the organization, otherwise she was basically independent of organization. Unfortunately for those people of both genders and various species, all of them met a… sticky end. Winding up being killed by either a higher ranking member of the organization, an enemy or on rare occasions Blake herself. Those few that were eliminated by Blake were people who tried to get in her pants who refused to take no as an answer and tried to be more… forceful. But thankfully, a magical blast with varying levels of destruction to the surrounding areas erased the idiots from existence.
The fact that Blake wasn't really affected when her old boy- and girlfriends were killed, a few of them at her hand, could easily be considered disturbing. Which made it rather surprising that she had a soft spot for kids. Then again, her draconic instincts desired something more than a mere boy- or girlfriend, a mate, which meant that she instinctively knew that they weren't the one for her. But when she met Luna her instincts were starting to stir, before eventually driving her to the point where she instinctively knew that Luna was the one for her. Which led to Blake biting and marking the Demi-Goddess as her mate, leaving her mate-mark on Luna's right shoulder.
While polygamy wasn't exactly uncommon in either the Supernatural or Wizarding World, it wasn't the norm either. Meaning that while having multiple… partners in marriage was rather common, there were the occasional exceptions that only had one, Blake being one of them with only Luna as her mate. And it was very unlikely that anyone of either gender would join the two any time soon.
Sitting in the Ravenclaw common room, the two mates and their daughter were doing their own thing. Luna was doing some just-before-the-final-test-of-the-year-studying. Blake appeared to be simply relaxing on the couch, reading a… strange book that definitely wasn't found in the Hogwarts' library, mostly evidenced by the golden insignia on the front of the book and the suspicious name of the author, which most likely wasn't the author's real name, just an alias. Ainz Ooal Gown. Which probably meant that she acquired the book from a… shady establishment. As for Karna, she was watching… something, via an… unusual crystal ball Blake had gotten her hands on… somewhere, occasionally laughing at whatever she saw in the crystal ball while eating popcorn. Though where the Reincarnation got the popcorn (this time) was a mystery for another time.
As the rest of the house of Ravenclaw took their leave, heading off for dinner, Luna stood up and did some stretching, causing some joints to pop. Sending her mate a curious glance, the blue-and-red-eyed girl saw a page in the book Blake was reading. Detailing the effects of a spell that caused men's family jewels to get crushed, then cause them to vomit the crushed… nuts. Luna had heard of that particular spell before from her dad, and that it was banned in more than fifteen countries. As Blake turned to the next page, which detailed a jinx that caused uncontrollable and extremely foul smelling flatulence, a jinx that wasn't actually banned in any country, but would force the caster to pay a lot of money as a fine due to the fact that the effects of the jinx were permanent. And there were no known means of counteracting them.
"You do realize that most of the contents in there are banned in multiple countries or at least very punishable, right?" Asked Luna her mate, who simply turned her attention to the Demi-Goddess and seemingly not bothered in the slightest by what Luna said.
"I'm aware. I just don't care." Replied Blake, closing and putting away the book after putting a bookmark on the page.
"*sigh* I can't say I'm surprised in that regard. Where did you find that anyway?"
"A shop in the nearby village. I'm pretty sure their entire stock consists of illegal stuff."
"Did you get the crystal ball from the same place?"
"Yes."
"What's so special about it anyway… besides the unusual coloring?"
"It shows random people in humorous and/or embarrassing situations all over the world. I think it was pulled out of the legal market after a politician who was getting chewed out by his wife for cheating on her ended up making headlines in the country's local newspaper thanks to one of the crystal balls. I found it entertaining, so I bought it."
"That makes sense. How much did you pay for the items anyway?"
"I didn't. The owner gave me a very generous discount."
"You walked out of an illegal store with two illegal items, and you didn't have to pay for them? How?"
"I think the phrase is: I scared the living daylights out of her."
"Her? The owner was a woman?"
"Yes. I think her name was Morgan… something."
"Okay? Found something interesting in that book?"
"Well… there is a pair of spells that temporarily give women the necessary… tool to start families without a man. They're basically the same spell, but only one of them is… fertile." That caused Luna to blush as she realized what the spells did. "I would suggest that we give the… safe one a try later, but…"
"Karna?"
"Karna."
"What about me? Are you two planning on standing there and talking all evening, or are we gonna go and get dinner?" Asked Karna impatiently.
"Of course not. Let's go! I'm starving." Stated Luna as she and the other girls started heading to the Great Hall.
