Even with her strength, Koneko was on the defensive with Kayna's hyper and unpredictable fighting style, as well as his inhuman strength, giving her very little reaction time. Dodging and avoiding his bone crushing strikes that could probably severely injure the likes of her with one blow was stressing her out as she frantically tried to find a way to counter.

Kayna lunged at her like a cheetah, his hands were replaced with long claws that were capable of cutting through trees and smashing boulders with the slightest of ease.

"If I get hit with them, I might not make it."

"What, is dodging all you can do!?" Kayna broke the distance between them and hurled his claws straight at her.

For once, Koneko relied on her reflexes and balanced on her hands. With her upper body strength, she pushed off and flipped over and behind him. The whole time she kept her legs bended, and kicked him in the back of his neck and upper back. She landed on her hands and pushed off, landing another solid kick the back of his head, sending him back and tumbling a few yards.

Even with a hit like that, Kayna was able to recover and got back on his feet. Koneko didn't want to give him time to counter, so she lunged and twisted her body, delivering a spinning kick that made his head do a complete 180 until he was facing the other way. His spine made a sickening crunch as his neck was snapped.

If Koneko was right, he would've fell down, defeated or dead. What she didn't expect was him grabbing his own head and twisting it back in place without making any expressions of pain or agony.

"Sorry, but that shit's not going to work." Kayna gave her a sly grin before cricking his neck.

"Damn, I can't take him alone," Koneko spread her wings and took flight. She figured even if she couldn't find an exit, she could at least gain distance between herself and the dark haired psycho.

"Don't fly away like some scaredy-cat." Koneko's eyes widened as he appeared above her in mid-air, flashing her psychotic smile. "Peek-a-boo." He muttered before twisting his body, giving him the proper momentum to deliver a deadly kick to her ribcage. Koneko coughed a small trickle of blood before free falling, crashing through several branches and landing with a sick thud.

Pushing herself up and using her left hand to wipe the blood off her lips, she turned to him as he landed nonchalantly. "What the hell are you?"

"The names Misuta "1,000 Beast" Kayna, the fifth division commander. It's a shame you're a close-quarter fighter. You see, even though I'm not a Dragon Slayer, out of all of our hand-to-hand combatants, I'm number one."

"This isn't good. I could...absolutely not," Koneko realized he wasn't someone she could beat with brute strength alone. She wanted to use her power, but couldn't. She was afraid that she'd wind up insane like him.

Koneko decided to take the initiative and lunged forward with a straight punch. Kayna, with just his bare hand, stopped her punch with no effort. To anyone else who would've tried that, would have had their hands and wrists snap like pencils. Next to Saizo, Kayna was second on terms of raw physical power. However, he one upped him with speed and reflexes that made him well known to be unpredictable in a fight.

"A direct hit, is that all you can throw?" Kayna was suddenly lifted in the air after Koneko maneuvered behind and locked his arm in place.

"Then I'll try smashing your head." Koneko threw him over her shoulder and attempted to slam him into the ground, where she'd then crush his skull with her foot, all while keeping his arm in place. After becoming Rias's rook, she had taken lessons on hand to hand combat that ranged from professional wrestling, mixed martial arts, and karate. She had mastered all of this in under four years. This maneuver always worked against tenacious opponents.

Just before Kayna was to be slammed, his surprised look turned into a grin as he twisted his own body, resulting on him landing on his feet rather than his back. While gripping him, Koneko heard a popping sound beforehand. Right before Kayna used her own grip against her and yanked her towards him with great strength.

At that moment, Kayna's head shifted until his head looked like a silver dragon's head, which he used to deliver a concussive head-butt that made Koneko dizzy and caused a slight cut to appear on her forehead.

"He has hypermobility? That explains that thing he did with his neck." Koneko jumped high and attempted all types of hits from punches to kicks. Kayna, who's once dragon head returned human didn't have any trouble or sweeping her attacks aside, as if he was fighting a little kid.

Eventually, Kayna stood in place and stopped her fist with just one hand and repeated his previous tactic of throwing her off by pulling her towards him. He used the momentum to deliver a painful knee to her gut that made her cough up saliva before clutching her stomach in pain. "Impossible, even though I'm a rook."

"Come on, even that sissy pawn I faced-" Kayna kicked in her stomach with much force. "..wasn't this much of a pushover." She slammed into a tree about ten meters from her current spot after being sent flying. The abrupt stop and pain to her back made her cough blood. "At least he put up some kind of a fight. This is boring."

Her body was aching. This was undoubtedly the first time she's experienced such agony against a close quarter combatant. Pushing herself up, she winced feeling a crack coming from her right. The slam actually broke one of her bones, clutching her right arm with her left, she turned to him as he walked towards her nonchalantly.

Koneko looked at the blood running down her mouth, and watched it fall on the ground in drops. Her breathing was ragged, and her body was in excruciating pain. She could still feel her strength and rugged defense. But it seemed like it was nothing but a joke to this guy. "How is a human...this insanely strong?"

That simple question triggered something deep within Kayna as he looked at her with rage as his fingers started jerking in different directions. Kayna grinded his teeth as they turned into fangs.

"What...the fuck...DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?"

Before Koneko knew what happened, Kayna pinned her down with his hand clutching her throat. His knees pinned her arms limiting her movements, and she couldn't move her legs to kick. "Human? You called me a human?"

"..."

"ANSWER THE QUESTION!" Kayna demanded raising his right arm and shifting into a dragon's claw with the intention of smashing her face in with one good punch.

Koneko had struggled to move her face and finally managed to do so where she was now looking into his eyes. "So what if I did?" She widened her eyes noticing the rapid changes in his eyes. They flickered back and forth from a human's, to slit like a snake, or in this case, a dragons. "Your eyes."

"Shit, not now," Kayna clutched his eyes gritting his teeth, yelling through them in pain as it felt like needles were being put through them. He could hear distorted, warped voices ringing through his skull, bouncing around like a pinball.

"How could you have given birth to something like this?"

"Disgusting creature, is he even human? I couldn't have made a son that looks like this."

"How could a monster like that be born?"

"Eeew! I heard his mother was some kind of gutter hag. Probably explains why he's so gross!"

"EHYAAHH!" Kayna opened his mouth releasing a long pained scream before gripping his head in utter agony. It felt like maggots were eating away at his brain.

"Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop!" Kayna grabbed a syringe from his coat and plunged it in his stomach. The green liquid was injected and released into his bloodstream.

Kayna got off of Koneko and stumbled back clutching his head. Taking several deep, calming breaths, the withdrawal from the lack of his medicine wore off in almost an instant, and he was back in fighting condition.

"What did those doctors do to you?" Koneko could hear his heart beating erratically, so fast it sounded as if it was going to burst at any second.

"You're showing concern for even your enemy? Don't make me laugh!" Kayna attempted to lunge, only to end up coughing a large amount of blood as the sudden sensation of his insides individually being ripped apart sent him into a shock. He looked down at his hand and shook seeing the blood splattered all over it.

"That medicine, it's giving you strength, but its corroding your health. Can't you see your just killing yourself?"

"Don't you think I already know that?" Kayna looked at her with a serious gaze and said something that shocked her in more ways than one. "I want it to kill me."

Saizo placed Yuuto on the defensive with lethal punches. His fists were infused with stone to enhance his strikes. Yuuto summoned sword after sword in an attempt to block or even strike. Each blade he summoned was shattered by Saizo's fists.

Yuuto jumped back and summoned another blade, taking his eyes off of Saizo for less than a second. He looked back up and realized he disappeared and looked around trying to find him.

"Kiba, he sank into the ground!" Xenovia suddenly told him.

"What?" Before Kiba knew it, a fist made of stone shot out of the ground and rammed him in the gut, blood sprayed out of his mouth from that solid hit. Yuuto gripped a summoned blade and thrusted it at Saizo's chest, the latter maneuvered in the air and dodged his initial strike before grabbing his chin and with incredible strength, flung him to the ground. Kiba didn't have enough time, nor control to summon his wings and save himself. Had it not been for Tsubasa flying up and catching him, Kiba would've splattered all over the ground.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, this guy's tough."

Tsubasa placed him on the ground and steadied him on his feet.

"That's what you get thinking you can take him on alone." Tomoe scolded. "He'll kill you without hesitation."

"Yet for some reason he refuses to hit us." Xenovia turned towards the gargantuan man as he landed on the ground. The lazy looking expression hiding his true emotion made her scowl before she pointed Durandal at him. "Hey Gorilla, how far are you willing to go? You may not know it, but I hate being looked down on."

"Xenovia, what are you-"

"You're a heartless assassin, yet you don't have the guts to hit a woman? Or what, you think girls are just weak?"

"Xenovia-san, cut it out." Tomoe called out. "He'll kill you if you provoke him."

"Why don't you be a real man and fight all your opponents?" Xenovia swung Durandal and released a large amount of holy aura that blasted Saizo with a direct hit. Not only did Xenovia not count on him taking on Durandal's blast head on, but to not even move an inch when the blast headed his way. "What the, he took Durandal head on? How much endurance does he have?"

Saizo cupped his hands, placed it in front of his mouth, and released a sudden torrent of dirt from his mouth. Xenovia was caught off guard and was able to use Durandal as a shield, only suffering from a few cuts and skidded back a yard or two.

"He hit her?" Yuuto was shocked. He knew for a fact that he refused to attack women. Saizo didn't hesitate and attacked Yuuto, the latter used his speed to dodge the giant man's barrage of skull shattering hits.

"Kiba, keep him distracted!"

Saizo grabbed Tsubasa's leg as she attempted to axe kick his skull in half. With little effort, he threw and tossed her a great distance like a rag doll.

"Damn you!" Tomoe appeared out of thin air with her blade out and stabbed Saizo's abdomen and pierced clean through. What was strange was how he didn't show any expression, let alone a pained yell. It was when she noticed her blade went too cleanly through him, so much, that he wasn't even bleeding. "What the hell?"

"Meguri-san, get away!" Kiba yelled. "I figured out his ability, and why he's so strong. He's an Earth Dragon Slayer. He can merge and make his body as solid and soft as the ground. Physical attacks won't work on him."

Every time the sword of the two Heavenly Dragon's clashed, enormous amounts of power burst throughout the room. Everything standing in the way of their fight shattered and/or disintegrated into dust.

Despite the immense power the both of them held, Naruto realized the night and day difference between their abilities. Their common ground was that they were both close ranged fighters, however, unlike her who had all her life of training to hone her skills, Naruto had only a few months yet had no formal training and was amazed at how far he had gotten with what little teaching he had.

"Dammit," Naruto swung his sword sideways and Kisara blocked it, which was in fact what Naruto was hoping for. With his strength, he exerted a lot of force and sent her skidding, giving the both of them distance. Naruto took his chance and slashed the air vertically and horizontally, releasing a wave of darkness from the edge of his blade, waves that ripped across the floor to their intended target.

Kisara effortlessly dodged his attack and the waves were heading towards several slaps of rubble. "Is that all you got? I'm not impressed muc-"

Naruto raised his right fist and the gem glowed. "Shift!"

Kisara suddenly disappeared, and where she stood, several stone slabs appeared out of thin air and dropped to the ground.

"-h." Kisara looked around, realizing she was standing somewhere different than where she just was. Before she knew it, the dark slashes Naruto sent had suddenly struck her and she slammed into the wall. Several more boulders fell where she was and created a dust cloud that completely shielded Naruto's eyesight. "Crap, I can't see. Did I kill he-"

Kisara wasn't the only one struck after letting her guard down. Naruto looked down with a shocked and horrified look after a lance made of pure fire struck the center gem on his chest, causing his armor to shatter. His entire body was set ablaze both internally and externally. Naruto released a pained scream thrashing around as his body was set ablaze. The fire around him was too much, just as bad as being struck with a holy light. Kisara emerged from the dust cloud with only a few minor bruises and scratches. Had it not been for the Phoenix fire within her, Naruto's initial attack that got her straight in the chest would've killed her.

"It seems Mina was right. You're relying too much on your magic and now you're paying the ultimate price."

Naruto was finally able to smother the last of Kisara's flames and was lucky to be alive. Although the pain he was in, made him wish he was dead. His body was twitching, and everything hurt, even the slightest of movements. He had his head on the ground and his back facing up as if he was kneeling. He was clenching his fist trying to endure it. But no matter how much, he was at his limit.

"You are inexperienced in the use of your sacred gear, so you depend solely on your power to get you out of situations. You used it to defeat the Phoenix noble and Mimi's former mentor, Kokabiel. I'll admit those feats are pretty impressive, but foolish at the same time. Look at yourself."

Naruto mustered what little strength he had and looked at his hands. At that moment, he noticed that they were covered in his scales. But it was different. Normally his scaly arm was rough yet smooth, similar to that of a chameleon or a snake. He knew that because after he realized the side effects of his magic, he kept daily tabs on changes to his body and its conditions, keeping track of every detail he found. His hands were jagged and rugged to the touch, pitch black in color. His claws looked deform and sharp. Out of fear, he bit his lip, jolting at the feeling of his lips being pierced. He placed a finger and touched a few of his teeth. They became sharp like fangs. Just touching one of them nicked his finger. "What's happening to me?"

"You're magic is changing you into the monster you truly are. It's why my magic causes you even more pain than earlier. You're no longer human, Kagari."

"Quit fucking calling me that!"

Naruto's unguarded back suddenly split open, and, much to Kisara's surprise, several tentacles dark red in color popped out with the tips pointing right at her.

Kisara, who knew almost all of his techniques, was genuinely surprised having not seen this one and had a look of slight fear. "What the hell are those?"

"All that artificial dragon magic you bastards gave me, fused the darkness inside me with my blood. I'm new to it, but I think I have a general idea how it works. I call it my Black Death technique."

'He can manipulate his blood like Kaidzu? Shit, I didn't anticipate that. Damn you Oyako.'

The tentacles lunged at Kisara, who back lunged dodging the initial strike. Naruto sent a swarm of them towards her, each one with enough destructive force to smash and pierce through the steel ground. Kisara dodged the first few and struck the others with her blade, ones that were close to impaling her. She realized he could harden the strange anomalies with his shifting powers, making them as hard as a diamond.

"There are too many, I can't find an opening." Kisara gritted her teeth as Naruto shakily stood up. Kisara's gauntlet glowed. "Boost!"

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

Kisara found a slight gap and released a powerful jet of flames straight towards him. One of the tentacles shielded him from the blast and hardened.

"Shift!"

Before Kisara knew it, several thin hidden tentacles thick as a hose wrapped around her legs and arms. A sudden intense burning had made her drop her sword. It was as if her hands were being wrapped in acid. "I can't find any weaknesses. He had this as a last resort!" She thought.

"You stabbed me with a lance, now I'll riddle you with holes. Good luck regenerating through this!"

One of the tentacles, positioned at his center, extended behind him and made a forward whipping motion, creating several diamond hard projectiles made from the same substance.

Kisara had no openings to dodge, seeing as she was occupied with the tentacles surrounding her. She had to think fast.

"Fire Dragon's Magma Breath."

A giant fireball shot out of her mouth. Her magma breath was different than her roar. Her roar required more concentration and limited movement, where as her fireball was a straight shot attack that hit the projectiles and should've melted them on sight. Thinking she was safe, several of the unaffected bullets continued their path and honed in on her. "Crap. I can't dodge them."

For a split second, Kisara thought she was going to die and saw no way out, that was until she remembered the promise she made just last night. "Help me..."

"I'll never forgive you."

Those were Kisara's words as she was fixated on the photo album of her childhood. It was the only thing she had that had a single shred of her happiness preserved. It was near and dear to her heart, and losing it would've probably made her snap from the stress.

She was thrown out of her thoughts hearing a soft moan produced behind her. She looked up down at Mina, who was lying on her side tilting her head at her with dazed eyes. "Morning Mina."

"Good morning, Kisara." Mina lazily sat up and fell her face in Kisara's bosom, wrapping her arms around her waist and lying on top of her. Kisara couldn't help but smile at her childish actions and hugged her head while stroking her soft hair. "Geez, you're just like a baby."

Mina moaned and rubbed her head back and forth from Kisara's breast with a happy expression. "Call me what you want, I still love these."

"Geez."

Every time Kisara was angry, sad, alone, or utterly depressed, Mina was there. For eight years, they were always by each other's side. It was initially a small friendship that started out between them. Kisara didn't even remember how it started between them, but she didn't care. To the lower ranking subordinates, Kisara was cold and ruthless with a heart of iron who would burn away her own comrades without a single moment to hesitate. The only ones who got along with her were Draco and her teammates. But the only one who knew her true personality was Mina. She knew deep down Kisara was scared to open up her heart to anyone, because she was afraid if that person died and she couldn't protect her, Kisara would have nothing to live for anymore.

To Kisara, she cared about her team. But Mina was everything to her. Her only grasp towards her sanity and inner happiness. Kisara would protect Mina no matter what. Looking down at her beloved, Kisara wanted to know how Mina felt deep down and nudged her slightly.

"Hey Mina, if I were to die, what would you do?"

Mina separated herself from Kisara's breasts and looked up at her with a concerned expression." Don't even say something like that." Mina retorted. "If you were to die, it would be from old age and with me by your side, just like it's always been."

Kisara beamed hearing that, but wanted to know more. "But life can never be how it is. In battle, you always have to be prepared to die. I'm sorry if it sounds morbid, but it's true." Kisara calmly said.

"You're right and wrong. Soldiers go into battles prepared to die, but they also do everything to live, to go back to their loved ones." Mina replied, tears started to cascade down her eyes. "If you died, I wouldn't be able to go on with my life. Kisara, you mean everything, the world to me. If anything bothers you, I'll kill them without hesitation. I never want to leave your side."

"Mina-"

"I know it sounds selfish, but please promise me you won't die. If you find yourself in trouble, don't hesitate to call my name. I'll be there faster than you could blink." Mina told her gritting her teeth and sobbing in her chest. Kisara hugged her head tight and proceeded to kiss her forehead. "Alright, I promise I won't die. But on one condition-" Mina looked up and blushed at Kisara's smile. "Promise me that after this, we'll get married."

Mina widened her eyes and didn't hesitate to give her a passionate French, pouring all her emotions through her lips and wrapping her love around Kisara's tongue, who lustfully retaliated before flipping Mina on the bottom and dominated her body for another hour. It was now Kisara who was buried in Mina's well-endowed breasts, sleeping away as Mina hugged her head smiling. "Kisara, I promise I'll always be there for you whenever you need it. Because that's just how much I love you."

"HELP ME MINA!"

"Ice Dragon's Roar!"

Naruto's arrows were suddenly caught in a blizzard and froze solid, stopping in their tracks and losing all momentum, fell and shattered once it hit the ground.

"That's all you had to say, dummy."

Kisara smiled as Mina appeared in front of her with her fist cupped over her mouth as she used her roar to save her. "You actually came."

Mina turned to her with a blushed smile and softly karate chopped her head. "Of course, you didn't think I lied to you did you?"

Naruto scowled seeing Mina again and retracted his tentacles back. "Not you again."

Mina sarcastically waved to him. "Yo, Uzumaki Naruto. You're looking good as ever."

"Bite me." Naruto replied with a sour look before being suddenly hugged from behind. "Naruto-san!"

With a surprised look, Naruto looked at Asia's heart melting smile. "Asia, what are you doing here?" He realized his tentacles were still out in the open. "Were you with her?"

She nodded. "Mina-san took me here. She's a kind person when you get to know her." Asia took a better look at Naruto and gasped seeing how much damage he had suffered. He had several cuts and bruises along with severe burns. "How did you get these injuries?"

"Their second division commander is no joke. She almost killed me if I wasn't thinking on my feet. Don't worry, it's not as bad as you think."

"Don't lie, these wounds are awful." Asia wasted no time and had already started the process of healing him. Naruto felt the familiar bliss of Asia's sacred gear for what felt like eternity. His power of regeneration was a convenient thing to have, but it didn't feel the same. Asia looked up at him while puffing her cheeks. "You dummy, you went and got yourself hurt again. You always seem to find trouble wherever you go." She started to scold him like a concerned mother acting towards her delinquent son. "Please try to be more careful, I worry for you."

"Sorry about that. I didn't mean to make you worry."

Both Mina and Kisara turned to the two of them and Mina pointed at them angrily. "Bastard, get the hell away from Asia-chan!" Mina yelled out angrily.

Kisara widened her eyes after hearing that name. "Asia? Asia Argento?" Kisara looked back and forth and suddenly lunged with her sword pointing right at the Bishop. Naruto acted quickly and summoned a black tentacle to shield her from the hit. Suddenly, an ice wall appeared separating her from Naruto and Asia. "What are you doing, Kisara? She's not our enemy."

"The hell she is!" Kisara pointed to her. "How could you bring her here? Your orders were to kill her!"

"I understand your frustration, but Asia-chan is kindhearted to a fault. She's not someone who deserves to die. Her healing abilities could be useful to us, and not to mention...she's so cute!"

Kisara poked the vein on her forehead and gave an irritated look. "You and your blonde fetish..." Kisara was about to refuse, until she looked at Mina who was giving a puppy dog face that made Kisara give off a complicated expression. Eventually, she gave in and sighed. "Fine, I guess we can brainwash her after taking care of what needs to be done."

"Yay!" Mina undid the ice wall and the both of them were facing Naruto and Asia, the latter had just finished her healing. During the time they were separated, Naruto took the time to consume both his and Asia's shadows, and was back into top condition. "I got to say Yuki-Onna, I'm surprised that you turned on your own comrades to protect your enemy. What were you planning to do with Asia?"

"I could tell you, but talking to a man dense as you is a waste of my time. Besides, seeing as you're soon about to die, I doubt that'll be any of your concern." Mina retorted.

"Wait, there's no need to kill him! I'm sure he can explain what he did. Naruto-san is not a bad person!"

"What kind of lies were you telling her?" Naruto asked Mina with a threatening tone. Mina scoffed and pointed to him.

"I don't want you of all people calling me a liar. All this time you've been leading Asia-chan on not telling you who you're really are? Were you afraid she'd leave you the minute you told her you were a bloodthirsty killer?" Mina asked.

"...what the fuck are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb, Uzumaki Naruto, or would you prefer Akuro Kagari?"

Naruto was utterly dumbfounded. He had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"You, denying your crime is only going to make your atonement even worse." Kisara took a step forward and gave him a dark look filled with bloodlust. "You can never escape your past no matter how much you lie to yourself. You can never wash yourself of the blood you spilled." Kisara pointed her blade at Naruto and declared with bloodlust running down her body. "This is where you'll die, dear brother."
