The duel between Soto and Shun was a brutal one. It was so brutal that Soto was taken to the hospital after his defeat. All of his friends were worried about him as they saw the doctors trying to treat him.
"Is Soto going to be okay?" Alyssa asked.
"It really doesn't look good." Augustus said. "That duel got scary and that Shun attacked Soto with great hostility."
"The doctors say he isn't in any danger, but he did sustain many injuries from that duel." Yuzu said. "Understandable since that whole duel was hard to watch."
"I just can't understand what went on." Siegrain said. "What got into Soto? He was acting like a different person back there. What was all that stuff Shun was spouting in the first place?"
"I'm not sure, but all we can do now is hope that Soto is going to be okay." Eli said.
"Shun..." Yukin said. He didn't like seeing his friends assaulted, but he doesn't understand what that was about either. Zoey didn't like this earlier, and she partly blames herself for not saying something about these people sooner.

Renji
As he watched the setting sun, he thought about all that happened in the duel. Shun seems to have met Renji's expectations. Now, he can focus on finding others for some sort of recruitment.
"Shun seems to have done well, but I am curious about this one." Renji said as he looked over information on Soto. "I need to find out all I can about him. He might hold some vital information for us." Who is Soto really? The answers might soon come.

The Hospital
"Eli and I are going to take the kids home. Are you three going to be okay?" Yuzu said as the others were getting ready to leave for the night with Yukin, Zoey, and Siegrain staying for the night.
"Yeah. Someone needs to stay close in case Soto needs us." Yukin said.
"We'll be fine. We'll let you know if anything happens." Zoey said.
"Okay. We'll leave it to you." Eli said as he and Yuzu made sure to take Nathan, Alyssa, and Augustus home. That left the three of them to take care of Soto, and maybe find some answers.
"Okay. No more holding out." Siegrain said. "You two clearly know something and it's time to spill. What do you two know about that Shun and whatever the heck was going on in that duel?"
"I'm not really sure myself." Yukin said. "All I know is that I saw Shun once before. He summoned that Mach Falcon of his, but something strange happened when he did. When he summoned it, whatever came from it felt very real. The weird part was that there was no reality generator."
"Say what? You're saying he was able to produce real damage? That's impossible." Siegrain said.
"No it's not." Zoey said as both turned to her. "It happened before. I saw it with the man who was responsible for attacking Sylvester. There are actually two guys. The second one is named Drewsin."
"Drewsin?" Yukin questioned.
"Zoey, you've got to tell us everything you know." Siegrain said. Zoey figured she has to now or else what happened to Soto could happen again.
"I guess it all started when I saw Drewsin duel Sylvester." Zoey said. "He dueled him because he thought I was someone else who needed help, but he was also looking for information."
"Information? How do you know that?" Yukin said.
"It's because Drewsin told me himself." Zoey said. "He actually talked to me and explained to me what was going on." Yukin and Siegrain were all ears about this. "Drewsin and Shun originally came here because they wanted to bring down LID. That's why Shun was hunting them down."
"Bring down LID? That makes no sense since Shun is dueling for them." Siegrain said.
"That confused me too, but let me start from the beginning." Zoey said. "Drewsin and Shun came from Neon City, and their home was attacked by enemy forces. I think that's what Shun was trying to tell us back at the duel. This enemy is called Promin Academy."
"Promin Academy? Never heard of it." Yukin said.
"Neither have I. These two came here because they believe that LID and Promin Academy are actually working together." Zoey said.
"Did he tell you anything about this Promin Academy?" Siegrain said.
"Yeah. It's not a friendly place." Zoey said. "They attacked everyone, innocent people and people who aren't duelists. Those two came here in hopes of bringing Promin Academy down. Drewsin doesn't really seem like a bad person, but Shun is a different story. The reason for Shun's behavior is because he wants revenge for what this Promin Academy has done. They captured his little sister and he's desperate to get her back. He'll do anything to make sure that happens."
"His sister was taken from him?" Yukin said.
"But this makes no sense." Siegrain said. "If he thinks LID is working with this Promin Academy, why would Shun be dueling for them?"
"That part I don't know." Zoey said. "Jenny treated him like he was the enemy, but at the opening ceremony, she acted like she's known him for a long time."
"Zoey, why didn't you tell us any of this before?" Siegrain asked.
"Because I didn't know what to think. I don't understand it entirely." Zoey said.
"You said that Drewsin thought you were someone else. Is that why he told you all of this?" Yukin asked.
"Yeah. When we first met, he thought I was Shun's younger sister. He thought I was this Brui." Zoey said. "He did realize he made a mistake and regretted that he got me involved in all of this. I don't think they're bad people. They're just desperate to save their home and families."
"But what does this have to do with Soto? Why did Shun go crazy on him like that?" Siegrain questioned.
"Good point. There's still much we don't know" Yukin said.
"Wait a minute." Siegrain said. "Soto isn't from around here. He went to a different school earlier. You don't think he's really from this Promin Academy, do you? We never did learn where he came from." None of them would have liked to believe that, but now they're starting to think they don't really know Soto. Meanwhile, Soto was resting in his room, but he was receiving a surprise visitor. Soto was waking up and was met with Drewsin.
"I have you now." Drewsin said. It looked like Soto was in trouble. As Yukin and the others tried to figure out what was going on, they heard the sound of glass breaking.
"What was that?" Siegrain said.
"Come on!" Yukin said as the three of them hurried to Soto's room. When they got there, they saw he was gone and the window was smashed open.
"What happened here?" Zoey said.
"I don't know, but Soto could in trouble. We better hurry and find him." Yukin said. All three of them got out of there as fast as they could to find Soto.

Soto
Soto went with Drewsin and the two of them ended up in the park.
"You sure recover quickly." Drewsin said.
"Well, you've got to be tough." Soto said. "How about you tell me where I can find Shun. I've got a score to settle with him."
"Not a chance." Drewsin said. "I'm going to make sure you tell me what I need to know. That's why I lured you here, to ensure no one gets hurt when I get through with you."
"You think you can take me on?" Soto said as he had a crazy look in his eyes again. "Think again. I'm going to make you and Shun regret you even considered opposing me."
"You clearly don't handle losing well." Drewsin said as he readied his duel disk. Soto got his ready and was already felt well enough for another duel.
"Let's duel!" They both said as they were getting started with 4000LP.
"I'm going first!" Soto said. "I'm going to start out strong here. I activate Polymerization! I'm already fusing together Elegant Dancer Emil Tango with Phantom Dancer!" He played his card and started the fusion already. "Dancer of mystery and dancer of sensual, these two together will win this duel! I fusion summon Phantom Dancer Blackhole!" He fusion summoned on the first turn as his dancer came out with 2200atk points.
"Fusion summoning on your first turn?" Drewsin questioned.
"Just wait and see." Soto said as he placed a card facedown.
"My turn!" Drewsin said as he drew his card. "I'll start by activating Shadow Surprise spell! This spell allows me to take two Shadow Raider traps from my deck that can be used as monsters and summon them to the field by negating any special abilities they have. I summon two Shadow Raider Fiend Knights!" He summoned two menacing looking knights riding on skeletal horses with them having 0def points. "Next, I overlay my two level three Shadow Raider Fiend Knights!" The two became energy as they came together in a vortex. "I xyz summon Shadow Raider Pegasus!" Drewsin summoned out another knight ridinging on a Pegasus with black wings and spikes around it's neck. It also had 1900atk points.
"That little horsey can't stop me or beat my Phantom Dancer." Soto said. 'Luckily, I have my trap if he tries something. My Dancer's Invitation will not only allow me to summon another dancer to the field, but Blackhole will gain attack points.' He thought.
"I activate Shadow Raider Pegasus' ability. I use one overlay unit to have all your spell and trap cards destroyed!" Drewsin said. One overlay unit entered the spikes around the Pegasus' neck. He generated a powerful gust that destroyed Soto's only trap. That gust of wind was also noticed by Yukin as he was looking for Soto. "There's more. Pegasus gains 300atk points for each card destroyed while your monster loses the same amount." Shadow Raider Pegasus' and Phantom Dancer Blackhole practically had their attack points switched.
"You've got to be kidding me." Soto said.
"You're going to pay for what you and the rest of Promin Academy has done." Drewsin said. "Attack with Darkened Sky Attack!" His Pegasus rider flew at Blackhole in black flames. It smashed into Blackhole and destroyed it with Soto's life points dropping to 3700. "I end my turn. Since it's the end of my turn, my monster's attack points return to normal." His monster's attack points dropped to back to 1900 and it was Soto's turn.
"Soto!" Soto turned around and saw Yukin was able to find him.
"Soto? What are you doing here?" Soto asked.
"That's my question. You should be resting at the hospital. What's going on?" Yukin said.
"I'm going to get even with Shun once this guy tells me where he is." Soto said. That's when Yukin first noticed Drewsin.
"Is that Drewsin?" Yukin said. "Soto, now is not the time for this. You need rest and you can get another chance."
"There are no second chances in battle. You either win or you don't." Soto said with Yukin not understanding why he would say something like that.
"Is that what you were taught in Promin Academy? Well, I'm going to make sure you and they don't hurt anyone." Drewsin said.
"Promin Academny?! Soto, are you really from there?" Yukin said.
"Just go away, Yukin. This is none of your business in the first place." Soto said. "It's my turn now!" He drew his next card. "I'm activating Trick Trap. By sending a card in my deck to the graveyard, I can set a trap card one the field. I'll send Fria to the grave and place this." He discarded his card and set another on the field. "In fact, if I'm able to, I can activate that trap now if I want."
"So what trap is it?" Drewsin said as he readied himself.
"This! I activate Necro Fusion!" Soto said. "By removing the cards from play, I can fusion summon with monsters in my graveyard. I fuse Phantom Dancer with Elegant Dancer Fria Tango!" His two monsters fused together to summon out his new monster. "I fusion summon Phantom Dancer Scarlet Despair!" His monster came out with it having 2800atk points.
"That's the monster he used against Shun." Yukin said.
"I activate Scarlet Despair's ability to banish your one and only monster until the end of the turn!" Soto said. His dancer used her power and made Shadow Raider Pegasus disappear. "Scarlet Despair, attack him directly!" Scarlet Despair unleashed her attack and blasted Drewsin as his life points dropped to 1200. Yukin saw the damage that came from that attack as well.
"It's just like before! The damage is real!" Yukin said as he couldn't believe he was seeing it with his own eyes.
"That's what you and your buddy get when you cross me!" Soto said. "For now, I end my turn."
"That means my Pegasus can come back." Drewsin said as he got back up with Shadow Raider Pegasus returning to the field. "It's my turn now! I draw!" He drew another spell for him to use. "I activate Raider's Promotion! When I have no monsters in my graveyard, Raider's Promotion allows me to exchange a Shadow Raider xyz monster with another xyz monster as long as it has less than 2500atk points. I'll switch Shadow Raider Pegasus with my ace monster! Shadow Shudamin!" He summoned out Shadow Shudamin as it came out with 2500atk points. When he summoned it, something was going on with Yukin's deck.
"What's this?" Yukin said. He opened his deck and saw Sapphire Serapho was glowing. "What's going on?"
"I activate Xyz Boost! This spell card becomes an overlay unit for an xyz monster!" Drewsin said. "That's what I'm using right now! By using one overlay unit, Shadow Shudamin can take half of your monster's attack points and make it his own! Dark Voltage!" As the overlay unit entered Shudamin's hand, Shudamin unleashed electricity that stole some power from Scarlet Despair and given to him as his attack points rose to 3900 and Scarlet Despair's dropped to 1400. "Shadow Shudamin, attack with Shadow Piercing Strike!" Shudamin build power in his hand and went straight at Scarlet Despair. His attack landed and destroyed her with Soto sliding back as his life points dropped to 1200. "Looks like we're even."
"Even? I don't think so. You're nowhere near on the same level as me." Soto said. He was going to keep the duel going, but he heard his duel disk giving him some sort of alert. "No! Not now! Don't take me back!" That was all he said before he was surrounded by a light and vanished.
"Soto!" Yukin called as he couldn't believe Soto vanished right in front of him. "What happened to Soto? What did you do to him?"
"I haven't done anything. He must have been pulled back to Promin Academy." Drewsin said. Yukin was alone with Drewsin. This might be his best chance to get answers.
"Then, he really was from this Promin Academy?" Yukin said. He wasn't liking this at all, but this was a chance for Yukin. "You're Drewsin, right? Zoey told me about you. Apparently, you and Shun are fighting because you're home is in danger, right? I want to know the full story." Yukin wasn't leaving without answers as to what is going on. Before Drewsin could say anything more, they heard some sort of motor. Out of nowhere, a guy on a white motorcycle came out from the trees.
"I found you!"
"Now what?" Yukin said as he stared at the man that came out of nowhere. Who could this guy possibly be? Will Yukin find the truth of what's really going on?
