Chapter 35: Rupture
"Dad, wanna explain what's going on here?" Evelyn pleadingly asked as she, her father and Hannibal Bates walked back to Felicity's base and towards the technopath's base.
The young metahuman's head practically burst with question marks the size of planets when they walked into the office and she saw a very much alive Killer Frost sitting in Felicity's chair, her feet in high heels placed on the desk while she leaned back in the office chair.
The technopath herself is standing beside the icy metahuman and rubbed her eyes.
"What the hell is going on here?!" Evelyn shouted, her eyes going back and forth between the people in the office, repeatedly returning them to the icy metahuman who she thought was dead less than a minute ago.
Killer Frost locked her cold eyes on the young metahuman. "Hi cutie." She waved her greeting. Turning her eyes to the elemental, she blew him a kiss. "Hi handsome."
"Killer Frost." Seth indifferently greeted her.
"Dad!" Evelyn impatiently asked, slapping her father's elbow and got his attention.
"Alright, alright, alright." Seth chanted, rubbing his elbow. "Geez, sweetie."
Hannibal laughed. "You handle that, buddy." The shapeshifter patted the mutant's back before walking to his boss. "Hey, chief."
"Bates, good to see you again." Felicity hugged her old friend tightly. "When you didn't answer my calls, I got worried."
"Sorry, spent a boatload of time trying to morph a wound." Hannibal answered while unwrapping his arms from the technopath.
Felicity paled, her hair and eyes shifting between colors. "A wound?"
Seth clarified. "He had a hole in his stomach…" He sheepishly pointed a twirling finger at Killer Frost. "As her…"
"What?!" Felicity screamed.
Trembling in shock, Hannibal said. "Glad to see you haven't changed a bit since last time, Felicity, you're still like a damn megaphone." He rubbed his ears. "But I got to meet Venom and his daughter." He pointed backwards with a thumb.
Killer Frost turned surprised. "Daughter?" She directed to the elemental.
"Things changed, Frost." Seth answered. He sighed but then saw the look of pure impatience on his child's face. If he waited any longer, he might just see her head explode. "Okay, fine. What do you wanna know, Evie?"
Evelyn gave him a disbelieving look. "How is Killer Frost alive? And how come you're not at all surprised by…" She gestured to Hannibal. "Him?"
"Killer Frost is alive because I asked Felicity for help." Seth started. "Before I followed Matt and the others when they showed up on this Earth, I contacted Felicity for help in case something happened to someone on the team. But by the time I made my way up Ascension Cliff, I saw that Killer Frost was alone in Zoom's lair, trying to keep Zoom down."
Hannibal jumped in. "I was with him and when that happened. I knocked Killer Frost out and changed into her and took her place and he took her back to the base here."
"Wouldn't Zoom have noticed the differences?" Evelyn asked.
"Touch and go for a bit, but it's okay. My shapeshifting is a little different." Hannibal gestured to himself and then to Killer Frost. "My powers are so evolved that when I transform into someone, I form a link to their mind. This way, I gain their personalities and to a small degree, also their powers. And if the person I transform into is unconscious, it's like they're watching what I see and know everything that's happening."
The icy metahuman scoffed. "Creepy as hell, felt like a bad dream."
"Ouch." Hannibal said in hurt.
"I mean, it's been a month or so, your transformation couldn't handle that long, right?" Evelyn added.
"True, and it was hard. But it was worth it." Hannibal shivered. "But talking like a bad girl, that was the hard part."
"No, it's not." Killer Frost bragged. She remembered the dream-like state that she was in. "So, I actually met… Caitlin Snow?" She pointed at the elemental. "Your Caitlin?"
"Yeah, you did." Seth nodded. Inwardly he was surprised that shapeshifter like Hannibal Bates existed. A shapeshifter who could copy not only appearances but also small-scale capabilities of metahuman powers and form a mental link… Quite impressive to say the least.
Killer Frost smirked. "Well, she looks cute as a brunette."
"And really sweet and generous." Hannibal added, shocking the technopath. "She saved me, or her." He pointed at Killer Frost.
"That's Mom, alright." Evelyn nodded with a proud smile.
"But what happened next?" Felicity asked.
"According to Mr. Bliss, Zoom kidnapped her and took her to Earth-1." Seth answered.
"So, you're going back?" Killer Frost asked with hints of sadness.
"Yeah, we are." Seth nodded. His daughter agreed and turned to the exit.
"Hold on." Felicity stopped them. "It's better if you stay put for a while." Both Seth and Evelyn became confused. "What if Zoom lied to Caitlin and Bliss to throw you off? Instead of speeding off to your world, he might just be here and hiding Caitlin here somewhere."
"So, what do you think we should do?" Evelyn wondered with crossed arms.
Felicity gestured around her. "Stay here, visit the old city again, R&R. You both faced off against Black Siren, you're tired. Recover. In the meantime, I'm gonna hack into every security camera in the city, anything with a camera lens and track tachyon particles and see if Zoom's here with Caitlin. I promise you both I will find her if she's here and bring you up to speed."
"…" Seth hesitated to say anything. He didn't know what to say to that. Every fiber in his body wanted him to walk out that door and find his beloved, even if it meant crossing the entire multiverse single-handedly. But at the same time, he couldn't help but see the logic in Felicity's words.
Chances are Zoom could have lied to Caitlin and his prisoners to throw them off his scent. He's an evil psychopath, but he's not stupid by any means.
"… Fine." Seth agreed reluctantly. He looked at his daughter. "You okay with this, honey?"
"Sure, Dad." The young metahuman accepted. "Just…" She looked at the technopath. "Don't take too long, alrighty? My Mom needs help."
"I swear, I'm gonna do it quickly." Eye Sight promised her.
With nothing else to do, Seth asked Felicity. "Are Iris and Barry back again? Think we could check up on them or something."
"Still in Atlantis with Mera." Felicity got a better idea. "Go to Jitterbugs, see how things are doing there."
"Fine." Seth accepted before he and his daughter walked out of the office.
Killer Frost swung her legs and got up from the chair, which the technopath took. Felicity saw her old friend walk towards the door. "Where're you going?"
"I'm gonna stalk that hot ass." She smirked, referring to the elemental mutant.

(Earth-1)
Police sirens blared loudly as the two cars gave chase, pursuing the runaway car with criminals that just stole hundreds of dollars from the nearest bank. Along with the bags of stolen cash, they're also bags of stolen jewelry from an expensive jewel store. Banknotes and small bejeweled fell out of the runaway vehicle, scattering in the air.
The two cars continued chasing the car but couldn't catch up to it.
Thankfully, they're not the only one chasing it.
Two tendrils shot out, attaching to opposite buildings behind the two police cars. They tensed up when a force pulled on them. Magenta stopped pulling, catapulting herself like a boulder into the air. The young magnekinetic gave the police vehicles under her a brief glance before turning her eyes to the runaway car again.
Lashing out her hand and shooting a tendril to the building to the left, attaching it to the building and pulling herself to it. Landing on the wall, she ran along the wall. She gave the runaway car a single glance.
"Think we can make it?" Frankie mentally asked.
"Keep doubting yourself and asking questions, you definitely won't." Magenta countered.
Frankie chuckled behind her symbiotic mask. "Let's go, then!" She put all her strength into her feet before jumping off the hard surface, her leap making the brick exterior crack, as she spiraled in the air. While twisting in the open air, she locked onto the runaway and reeled an arm back.
Her clawed right hand morphed into a halberd. Frankie launched her weaponized arm and dug it into the back of the car. Retracting the arm, she pulled herself to the back of the vehicle.
The two criminals felt their car shake from additional weight, sharing a look of confusion. The one in the passenger seat took out his revolver, rolling down his window and looked out of it. His eyes meet the white pseudo eyes of the young metahuman.
Awkwardly looking back at the criminal, Magenta giggled diabolically. "Hi. Great evening, right?" She waved her hand.
"Die, bitch!" He pulled the trigger of his firearm and fired his bullet.
…
…
But what surprised him next was that his bullet stopped midair, a mere inch from the barrel of his firearm and spiraled. Another surprise hit the criminal when he saw Magenta's eyes shining brightly with a purple-ish color.
Narrowing her eyes on the criminal, she growled. "Not cool!" Magenta flung the bullet and the criminal's gun away to the asphalt, causing them to shatter due to the momentum. Spinning around, she kicked the man's face and grabbed his head with her hand, slamming it against the car roof.
The blow to his head knocked him out and Magenta grabbed him by the back of his jacket. She yanked him out of the car, throwing him into the back of a nearby garbage truck. "Score one for Magenta!" The young metahuman tore off the driver car door and reached in, pulling the other criminal out.
"Let me go!" the criminal screamed.
"Okay!" She threw him away, hurling him a truck filled with pillows. Seeing that the criminals are out of the car, she had to stop the car. Jumping into the air, she slammed herself down into the car hood. The force of her attack flipped the car into the air.
With her feet planted on the ground, Magenta raised her hands over her head, extending her claws. The car landed in her hands and tightened her hold on it. Sighing in relief, she lowered the vehicle to the ground. "Mission accomplished." She praised herself before walking to the back of the car.
Digging her claws into the trunk, she tore it off and looked inside. Within the trunk, she found two duffel bags, one overflowing with cash and the other one filled to the brim with shiny jewelry. Curious at the number of bags, she pressed her earpiece and spoke to the detective. "Uncle Joe, how many bags did they take from the bank and jewelry store?"
"According to witnesses, two from the bank and one from the jewelry store!" Joe shouted over his blaring siren.
Returning to the bags in the trunk in front of her, Frankie said back. "Got two here, one with cash and the other with jewelry."
"There's one more, I'm chasing that one, but he's far ahead of me!" Joe shouted.
"On my way!" Frankie jumped into the air. "Cisco, what's the location?"
"He's heading south on Milton Ave." Cisco responded.
"I'm close." Joe added.
"So am I!" Ruby announced over the comms.
X
Running across the rooftop Destroyer neared the ledge and looked down in a crouch. She saw Joe's car pursuing another car, both of them driving at full speed. She saw that the runaway car is occupied by a single criminal.
Reaching behind her, Ruby took out a new gadget that Matt and Felicia made for her. It was a left handed black gauntlet that they made for her, allowing her more mobility in the field in a way akin to her father and her magnekinetic sister. It is made with an opening at the edge of the top.
"Let's try it out." She equipped the black gauntlet. The moment it was attached to her arm the opening flipped up, releasing a metallic nozzle. Clenching her hand repeatedly to check the feeling of the gauntlet, she came to one conclusion.
"Perfect." Destroyer admitted.
Thrusting her hand outwards, she clenched her hand, and the nozzle released a metallic hook. It latched onto the side of a building. Lightly pulling on the grappling hook, Destroyer was assured it was alright before jumping off the ledge.
Seeing her action, Joe almost came to an abrupt stop when she saw his niece jump off the roof and swing like her father. The detective pressed down on the pedal, speeding up till he was under his niece.
Registering his current position, Destroyer retracted the hook and landed on the top of the detective's car. She grabbed onto the roof and looked through the driver's window. "Hey, Unc!" Like Joe had to through the comms, she had to shout over the siren.
Joe rolled his eyes. "You girls are the pinnacle of recklessness!"
"You've seen our parents, right?" She quipped.
"I have!" Joe nodded to the runaway car. "Get going, Rubs!"
"On it!" She thrusted out the hook again, latching onto the left side of the car. Unclenching her hand, she pulled herself towards the car, slinging herself off the car roof. Reaching behind her she took out her Chakram Blade and spun around when getting close to the car. Nearing the car, she slashed the left back and front wheels. Air oozed out of the tires and the criminal lost control of his runaway car, causing him to drive frantically.
Using her gravitational powers to slow her fall to the ground, she gently landed on the asphalt. The hook returned to her gauntlet and she used both hands to project her gravitational powers in a blast, forcing the runaway car to stop.
The criminal rushed out of his car and aimed his Uzi machine gun at the young gravity manipulator. "Die, you son of a bitch!"
"CCPD! Get down on the ground!" Joe West shouted, holding his firearm close to the back of the criminal's head. Growling his disapproval, he released his gun and got down on the ground. As the detective handcuffed the criminal, he saw Ruby holding up a duffel bag full of cash. "Nice job, kid."
"Don't sound so surprised." Destroyed smirked behind her mask.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)
"Glad to know I wasted my time." Cisco crossed his arms with a pout as soon as Frankie and Ruby returned to the facility. He glared at Matt who took Ruby's new gauntlet. "You know I made that movement catch suit for a reason, right?"
"And you do know we got like four-five heroes here who can fight and protect this city really well." Matt turned to his niece. "How'd the grappling hook work?"
"Pretty good, actually." Ruby rubbed her wrist. "Bit tight when the hook shoots out, though."
"I'll check on that, otherwise you might have to get used to the feeling." The nanite mutant told her and she accepted it with a nod.
Iris faced him. "You make that recently?"
"Nah it's a prototype I made last year when I found out Felicia was here in this world, too." Waving the gauntlet, he continued. "Just had to pick it out from storage and improve it to fit Ruby."
Ruby smiled. "Gave me some mobility and made it easier to travel in a city without Evelyn shadowporting."
"Love how the name's catching on." Cisco smiled.
Frankie narrowed her eyes. "Hey, I came up with that."
Barry chimed. "Yeah, but next time… I'm gonna use Cisco's suit and help out there."
"Would that crap even work?" Ruby asked bluntly.
"Definitely and it's not crap." Cisco defensively said. "It's a good hologram, we've tested it. I mean, I figured if they could get 2Pac rapping at a concert, we could definitely get The Flash running around Central City."
"Which was a waste of time." Ruby continued. She turned to Barry with crossed arms. "And what exactly would you do, Barry? Put on that suit and run through the city with a hologram of all things."
"Yeah, it might work." Barry stated.
"Keyword: "might."" Ruby continued candidly.
The former speedster sheepishly said. "It's better than you guys going out there."
Those words made the young magnekinetic narrow her eyes in suspicion, her "other" checking everything about him. Specifically, his words. Sharing a brief mental conversation with Magenta, Frankie and her partner reached a conclusion.
"You don't think we can handle it out there, do you?" Frankie crossed her arms. That statement made the nanite mutant raise his eyes in surprise, as did Iris and Cisco.
"Really?" Ruby scoffed.
"Course I do, guys… It's just…" Barry really hoped either Iris or Cisco would jump in to help him out of this rabbit hole. But they awaited his words and the CSI scientist continued unsurely. "You guys are kids… You shouldn't have to fight my battles out there."
"Well, that's exactly what we've been doing." Ruby clarified. "You don't have your speed anymore, and we have our powers, and use them to protect our home. Any battle in this city threatens our home, and like you, we have the right to defend it." The former assassin glared at him. "Don't care if this bruises your ego or what, but me and my sister are going out there whenever trouble starts brewing. Cause this is our home." She finalized before walking to the exit.
Chuckling at her sister's statement, Frankie agreed. "Ruby's right… This is what our father and mother taught us, Barry." The former speedster remained silent. "This is our home, and you can't stop us from protecting it." She concluded before following her sister.
Barry slumped with a sigh. "They're right, Barry." He turned to the nanite mutant who looked right back at him. "Frankie and Ruby were taught to fight. And yeah, they're kids, but they're way above the levels from when me, Seth and Livia were at their age. Ruby's a former HYDRA assassin trained to use those powers in her and trained in martial arts. And Frankie is symbiote bearer with magnekinetic powers who stood her ground against a serial killer from my world, one that Seth struggled to fight against on multiple occasions."
Matt continued. "You feel useless, sure, I understand, but they're right. They have the right to defend their home. Kids or not, they're young strong capable women who can wipe the floor with anyone. You might wanna learn to accept that, soon."
"Yeah… But with Cisco's tech, then we could have The Flash running around again." Barry defensively said.
"Even if that was employed, it wouldn't have lasted." Harry made his presence known. "Be thankful for Snow-Fury's kids."
"There it is." Cisco rubbed his head and sighed in frustration at Harrison's words.
"And it wouldn't have worked with the hologram anyway. It wouldn't be long before someone figured out, "Oh, wait. You never say anything. You never touch anything. Oh, wait. You never go indoors."" Harry played out the scenario.
"Okay, well, without Barry's speed, then it's a good thing we have Ruby and Frankie." Iris admitted.
"Amen to that." Matt said as he opened the gauntlet on a table before working on it.
"Yes, but that's not the only option, is it Allen?" Harry walked to the middle of the Cortex. "I think a better idea, instead of relying on Fury's kids to play "Robbers Meet Psycho Children" at all times, would be to rebuild the particle accelerator to get Barry's speed back."
"Yeah, Wells, that's what you keep saying." Barry groaned from his seat.
"That's right." Harrison nodded.
Turning away from his work, Matt faced him. "Last thing this city needs is another hole in the sky, right? Two times are enough, I'd imagine. Let's not make it a hattrick."
"Exactly, and not to mention, second attempt, we blew a hole in the universe and created, like, 50 portals to your Earth." Cisco quipped.
Iris continued arguing. "Which is exactly how we lost Seth to begin with, and how Zoom and his henchmen got here in the first place."
"I told you." Harrison snapped around, facing the reporter. "I know how to contain the explosion."
"Wanna bet on that, Wells?" Matt skeptically asked.
"Yes." Harry confidently stated.
Barry scoffed and chuckled his disbelief. "You know how to contain a dark matter explosion that, last time, just radiated all of Central City? You tried this on your Earth, remember?"
"That didn't go so well, did it now?" Matt added.
While Harry was dealing with the flurry of arguments, Iris added. "And, even if you could contain it, I thought you said that Barry couldn't tap into the Speed Force anymore."
"It wasn't connected the first time he got his powers." Harry argued. "Look, I have your Wells's data. The Harrison Wells from this Earth, I have his science. I know what chemicals need to be in your body. I know how the lightning needs to bond with the dark matter from the particle accelerator explosion. I can recreate the circumstances to get you your speed back. This will work." He turned to the nanite mutant. "You, your nieces… You can't run throughout the entire city, not like the Flash… They won't be able to keep up. But more importantly… It's not gonna help Fury save Snow." Matt clenched his fist. "It's not gonna bring your nieces' mother back."
Normally Matt appreciates tough love, but he really doesn't like how Harry is pouring an obscene amount of salt into a widely open wound. He practically feel the proverbial salt burn the wound Zoom made when he kidnapped their friend.
Harry saw the gears turn in the mutant's head before facing the former speedster. "You wanna be ready, should Zoom return- if Zoom returns- when Zoom returns… There is only one way to do it, and that's by getting your speed back."
The Earth-2 scientist let his words settle in, hoping they'd get the former speedster to see the logic in his words and make him realize that his plan… would work.
X
(Earth-2, Jitterbugs)
Seth opened the slide doors and walked into the coffee lounge with his daughter, both turning surprised at the sight meeting them…
Nothing.
Not a single person was in the lounge, all of the chairs empty. The bar is empty. The stage is empty. The upper floor is empty…
After pulling down her eye mask so it hung around her neck, the young metahuman, native from Earth-2, looked around in shock. "This is weird."
Checking the time, Seth said. "Close to nighttime. Place should be packing right now." Curiously, he grazed the nearest surface of a table. Surprisingly, he gathered up dust and examined it. "They haven't been people here in a while."
"Uncle Matt did say Killer Frost and Deathstorm showed up here and attacked Joseph West." Evelyn recalled. Her eyes caught sight of a dusty newspaper on the floor. Bending down, she picked up the newspaper and dusted it off to make it readable.
"CURFEW EXTENDED, BUSINESSES ORDERED TO CLOSE" She read the headline out loud. "Following the latest metahuman attack on the popular local tourist attraction, Jitterbugs and the assault on well-known lounge singer, Joseph West, various establishments, if not all in the city have been ordered to temporarily close down by Mayor Snart until the current situation improves. CCPD agreed to this decision and have officers patrolling the streets 24/7."
Lowering the paper, Evelyn turned even more shocked. "Seriously? They shut this place down?"
"Explains the lack of activity in the city outside." Seth admitted, walking deeper into the empty lounge. "Feels weird being back here when it's so empty. Like a ghost town."
"Check if there's anything to eat." Venom hungrily demanded.
"Nope!" Seth mentally shouted. The mutant turned around and saw his daughter look around thoroughly. "Is it weird being back here for you, Evie?"
"All the times I came here, I used to steal from some businessman or someone else… Now?" She made a gesture to her current superhero attire. "… I'm standing here as a hero. So, pretty weird, yeah." Evelyn chuckled.
Hearing the hints of regret and disappointment in her voice of her past self's actions, Seth walked closer to her. "Evie, you may have started out as a thief…" He crouched down before her. "But what you are now, is a damn impressive hero. Your past is what you leave behind, it's always gonna behind you. Your future, that's what you make with each new step you take forward." He cupped her hands, his symbiotic partner sending out emotions through his hands to his daughter. "Honestly, if your past self could see you right now… She'd be damn proud of you, but not nearly as proud as your mother and I am."
"Thanks, Dad." Evelyn blushed in embarrassment.
"You're a hero now, Evelyn Fury…" Seth wrapped his arms around her form, pulling her close into a heartwarming hug. "Never forget that."
"Thank you, Dad." Evelyn wrapped her arms around him, reciprocating the hug.
The young metahuman was happy, happy that… happy that she was actually kidnapped by Zoom all those months ago when she tried to flee the city to get away from the evil speedster. If she hadn't been captured by him all those months ago, then she wouldn't have been able to meet her father…
A man who'd stand in front of her, protecting her even from natural catastrophes. Even if without his sword and elements, he'd face the worst of the worst with his bare hands. A father who'd be the manifestation of both a sword and shield, cleaving down the threats mercilessly and blocking any incoming strikes.
A father who'd spent the last of his breath to make sure his child is safe and alright… Someone who'd make sure his child is loved with all of his heart poured into his actions, showering his child with everything important in him… As any child is the most important person to a parent.
"Thanks, Daddy." Evelyn feared tears would trail down her cheeks. "Love you."
"Love you too, baby." Seth said back, kissing the top of her head. The moment his lips left her head, he exhaled and saw that he was expelling cold white air. "What the-"
"Aww, ain't that cute?" The father and daughter unwrapped their arms and turned around, finding Killer Frost leaning against the doorframe, clad in her usual attire with a long dark blue coat with silver details over it. The coat reaches down a little bit below knee length. Caitlin pursed her lips. "Daddy loves his little girl, doesn't he?"
Seth rolled his eyes. "What are you doing here, Frost?" He asked.
"Followed you and your kid." Killer Frost leans off the doorframe, walking towards them. The icy metahuman made eye contact with the younger metahuman. "Love the wardrobe changes, kid. Better than what you pull out of a trash container."
"Thanks?" Evelyn said back, unsure of how to feel about being praised by a known criminal. Especially one that both held her captive and hunted her once.
"You're welcome." Killer Frost smiled and walked past the girl and her father, the latter she grazed with her fingertips before making her way to the bar.
"Why did you follow us?" The elemental asked, unfazed by the metahuman's fingers touching his skin.
Caitlin reached over the bar, pulling out a bottle of vodka and a martini glass. Waving them both, she asked the mutant. "How'd you feel about a drink? Don't worry there's soda for junior, too."
"…" Seth didn't respond with his words and walked over to the icy metahuman who took a seat at the bar. His daughter followed him and they both took a seat each at the bar counter. "Last time we spoke, I don't remember Felicity, or you, for that matter, say anything about bartending?"
Killer Frost lifted two glasses in her hand and a soda can in her other one, both emanating icy mist and cooling the glasses and soda beverage. As she placed them on the counter, she informed vaguely. "Girl like me running in my circles, you learn to pick up different useful skills."
While watching the vodka pour out of the bottle and into the glasses, Seth repeated. "Why did you follow us, Frost? Doubt you were just in the mood for a drink." The mutant slid the soda can across the counter and towards his daughter's waiting hand.
Placing the bottle down, the icy metahuman smirked. "Don't tell me you're saying "no" to a pretty gal like me?" She saw the stern look on Seth's face, her humor wasn't gonna affect him. "It's my way of saying thanks, dummy."
"For what?" Evelyn inquired for her father.
"Well, kiddo, if your dad here hadn't intervened like he did, I'd probably be skewed right about now." Killer Frost looked back to the mutant. "And I'm thankful for that… No one has ever done something like that for me. Not that they'd ever want to." She brought her martini glass to her lips, sipping on her vodka drink.
"You'd be surprised what people would do when motivated." Seth said, gesturing to the metahuman's familiar face.
At that motion, Caitlin narrowed her eyes and leant forward. "… That reminds me… If I didn't have your girl's face… Would you have saved me?"
"I don't know, honestly… Because you do have Caitlin's face and I did save you." Seth answered, drinking from his glass. "I'm glad you're safe, though."
"Thanks…" Killer Frost smiled, downing the rest of her drink. "But what's your plan then now? Go sightseeing in a city that's practically cowering behind closed doors with your kid?"
"Till Felicity's search is done, and she finds out Caitlin isn't here… Maybe, yeah." Seth unsurely said.
Evelyn looked between her father and her mother's doppelganger. "Weird…"
Seth continued. "But I don't know for now… I want to find Caitlin and get her away from Zoom's claws as soon as possible and make sure she's safe."
"Course you do." Killer Frost laughed.
"What about you?" The mutant asked.
"What do you mean?" Caitlin-2 poured more vodka into her glass.
The elemental scoffed. "What are you going to do now? Zoom's gonna kill you the moment he finds out you're still alive. What's the plan? Run away?"
"Nah." She shook her head. "Running away isn't my thing… Plus I wanna kill that freak." She gritted her teeth. "He killed Ronnie after all… So, for now, I'm gonna get payback… Just don't know how, though."
In her cold eyes, Seth could see a blizzard of hate brewing, waiting to be unleashed.
And Killer Frost only wanted to unleash it on Zoom, making sure his entire body was frozen solid… so not even his speed-healing could save him from the icy torture she's got in store for him.
A chiming sound echoed through the empty lounge. Seth reached into his pocket, pulling out his vibrating phone. Checking the caller id, he said. "It's Felicity."
"Time to go home then?" Evelyn asked.
"Let's hope so, unless Caitlin's still here." Seth answered his daughter before accepting the call and placing the phone over his ear. "Go for Seth."

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
Sitting on the edge of the facility rooftop, Ruby looks over the city. Her bleached hair blowing in the air and covering the left side of her face. Pushing her hair away, she cracked her neck and rubbed her sore wrist.
"Damn thing really needs to be adjusted." The former HYDRA assassin said.
"Careful what you say about your uncle's designs, Rubs." Olivia said, carelessly walking along the edge of the roof. Her niece faced her. "What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're pissed about what Barry said."
Ruby scoffed at the question. "If you're asking me that, then you don't know me that well, Aunt."
"Then how about you answer me so I can get to know you better?" Olivia suggested, but in all honestly it was a demand.
"… It's weird going back to the house when Mom, Dad and Evie aren't there. It feels empty without the entire clan." Ruby confesses. She chuckled to herself before glancing at the psychic. "Must be weird to hear this coming from a HYDRA agent, enemy turned family and all."
"You were never an enemy, kiddo." Olivia carefully took a seat beside her niece. She let out a sigh of exertion and sharply exhaled. Ruby noticed her reaction and made a mental note of it. "The moment Seth and Caity adopted you, when my brother threw you to this Earth, you became family. Screw all the HYDRA business, Rubs. It doesn't change how we feel about you. You're a Fury… or Snow-Fury if you parents decide to tie the knot at some point."
"… Good point. Thanks, Auntie." Ruby chuckled happily. "But what's with you?"
"What do you mean?" The psychic wondered.
Ruby gestured to her body. "You look tired… Are you doing okay?"
Looking around for anyone else on the roof they're sitting on, Olivia grabbed the hem of her T-shirt and pulled it up, exposing her stomach to the cold air, making the mutant shiver. "Take a gander?"
Examining her aunt's stomach, Ruby noticed the swelling and deduced with a happy smile. "You're showing."
"Got it in one." The psychic nodded, pulling down her shirt and covering her stomach again. "These goobers are growing fast and it's a bit tiring to say the least." She rubbed her stomach. "They're getting all of my spare energy so it's a bitch moving around."
"Must be nice to have an excuse to not move around that much now." Ruby chuckled.
"Nah, I hate it. I hate not moving and hate skipping all the action." Olivia groaned out loud, bordering a dramatic reaction. "But it's worth it as long as my kids grow up right and turn out good."
"With a mother like you, definitely." Ruby nodded.
Olivia smiled at her niece's words. "You've come a long way from who you were in the future of our Earth, Rubs. You're no longer Hale's assassin. Sure, you might have assassin-like skills and gravity training, not to mention HYDRA Summer Camp training, but you're way better now than ever before." She ruffled her hair playfully. "Can't wait for my goobers to meet you and your sisters."
"What about my Dad and Mom?" Ruby asked with a raised eyebrow.
"First I have to tell your old man about my pregnancy, which is gonna be hard." Olivia admitted. "… Wanna feel?"
While Ruby hesitated to answer, her psychic aunt gently took her hand and placed it over her stomach. And though the former assassin didn't feel anything when her palm touched the surface of her belly…
Ruby knew that in her belly… growing slowly… Her cousins are in there…

(S.T.A.R. Labs, The Cortex)
After returning inside of the facility, Olivia and Ruby looked towards the side lab and saw Matt, Cisco, Iris, Jesse and Frankie. The four of them examine the 3D schematics of a huge machine on the monitor made by Harrison.
While eating a chocolate bar, Frankie looked into the Cortex, seeing her aunt and her sister. "Hey you two."
"Hey, sweetheart." The psychic called out.
"Hey, dweeb." Ruby chuckled.
"Right back at you, nerd." Frankie quipped.
"Hey, babe." Matt kissed his wife.
"Hey handsome." Olivia smirked.
Cisco rolled his eyes at their antics. "Keep it down, you two hoodlums. Some of us are single in here."
"Sorry, Cisco." Olivia replied before facing the monitor. "What's that thing?"
"… Something Wells made." Cisco declared. "It looks like the Vacuum."
"What's the Vacuum?" Jesse asked unsurely, not getting the reference.
"No "Fringe" on Earth-2. Noted." Cisco realized.
Iris turned around, facing the Earth-2 scientist. "What is that thing?"
"That is how Barry's gonna get his speed back." Harry answered.
Matt examined the schematics, taking in each 3D virtualized component on the monitor. "You've been working on this in the workshop all this time?"
Harry nodded. "Someone has to worry about Zoom."
"Okay." Cisco stepped forward with a disagreeing look. "Barry cannot do this."
"He has to, Ramon." Harry argued.
"You keep calling me that, but that's-" Cisco's face paled… when a vibe hit him.
X
…
His eyes alone… met the eyes of a familiar face…
…
… His brother… Dante Ramon…
…
"Dante?" Cisco confusedly asked at the sight of his brother's face… smirking…
X
Cisco gasped when he returned from the vibe, his mouth agape.
"Cisco, what happened?" Frankie asked.
"Did you see our parents and Evie?" Ruby asked him rapidly.
"Or did you see Zoom?" Harry inquired.
Everyone in the Cortex awaited the native engineer to speak. "No." Cisco finally responded.
"What'd you see? A ghost or something?" Matt asked in concern.
His words made his wife glare at him. "Don't jinx it. Last ghost the team had to deal with was that coward, Thawne, and we weren't even there!" The psychic complained.
"No, it wasn't anything like that." Cisco shook his head. "I saw my brother."
"Your brother?" Ruby couldn't help but feel an eerie feeling slithering its way up inside of her core.
"I got to go." Cisco stated before walking out of the side lab.
"That was… weird, even by Cisco's standards." The nanite mutant confessed.
"Amen." His wife agreed. She looked to the entrance of the Cortex when her ears perked up at the sound of footsteps emitting from that direction. "What do we have here?" Olivia mused in surprise at the sight of Barry walking into the Cortex with his father, Henry Allen.
"See where everybody is." Barry patted his father's back before looking up to the others. "Hey." He waved his greeting.
Iris gaped her mouth in surprise. "Henry?" She rushed out of the lab, making her way to Barry's father.
Henry smiled. "Iris. Hi." He hugged the reporter.
"It's so good to see you." She replied honestly while hugging him back.
"You too." Henry said.
Harry narrowed his eyes on their interaction.
Matt chuckled. "Long time no see, Henry." He greeted the doctor.
"Yeah, you too, Matt." After unwrapping his arms from Iris, Henry faced Olivia. "You too, Liv. And heard of your wedding, your brother being back and you getting more nieces… Congrats." He gave a wave to Frankie and Ruby, the former waving back and the latter shrugging a greeting.
"Thanks, Doc." Olivia greeted back. "But what brings you back to boring old Central City?"
Iris nodded to Barry. "I guess Barry dragged you back for a bit?"
"Looks like maybe for good." Barry said with a wide smile.
That piece of information stumped the reporter. "Wait, what? Seriously?"
"Yeah, yeah, I figured I spent enough time away from my son." Henry admitted, patting his son's shoulder.
"Have you told Dad?" Iris asked the former speedster.
"No, I wanted to tell him in person." Barry replied.
Frankie chimed in. "Uncle Joe said he's at CCPD, think Wally's there too."
"Thanks, Frankie. I'll give him a call." Iris expressed.
"Let's get settled." Barry told his father, bringing towards the spare rooms.
"Awesome for him." Ruby said.
Frankie heard her sister's tone… and she realized that she wasn't honest.

(CCPD)
Detective Joe West walked out of his captain's office with the captain himself. David Singh faced his detective. "Joe?"
"Anything else for me, Captain?" The detective asked, waving the folder that he already received.
"No, a question this time." David assured Joe who gave him his full attention at those words. "What's the deal with Venom being AWOL this time? First Flash's no-show and now our Lethal Protector's gone too. What's going on? Does your daughter know anything?"
The detective shrugged with an unsure chuckle, he had to keep his son and his friend's secrets under wraps. "She hasn't heard anything from either of them, no. Maybe they're on vacation."
"Hell of a timing, that's for sure." David mused with a chuckle.
Joe tilted his head. "Everything okay, Captain?"
"Crime's going up lately. And we should be thankful we have Destroyer and Magenta to help us, for sure, but… They can't make their way through the entire city, not like The Flash can." The captain confessed.
"That might be… But at least our city's still under protection." Joe said.
"Good point yeah." David nodded and walked away.
Turning towards the direction of the lobby, Joe saw his son leaning against a desk. "Your sister called, checking in when we'd be home." He walked to the other reception desk.
"As in, we need to get going?" Wally asked.
"Thanks." Joe handed the receptionist the folder before facing his son. "You know your sister." Wally didn't deny that and chuckled.
"Okay, move it. Let's go." The father and son heard an officer say as he escorted a convict to the holding cell.
At the sight of that, Wally inquired of his father. "Do you ever get sick of this job? Being a cop?"
Joseph laughed. "Oh, looks like someone inherited the West "I-need-to-help-people"-gene."
Wally chuckled, remembering how he promised The Flash that he'd do right by him after he sacrificed his speed for him. "Ever since The Flash saved me, I just… I don't know if designing cars is what I'm meant to do with my life."
Not expecting that kind of question and uncertainty, Joe chose the safest option. "Well, I'm sure there's something out there… That'll satisfy your need for speed and helping people, but, until then, you should stick with engineering. It's much safer." Throwing a glance to his captain, Joe stated. "We should get going before Singh comes up with something for me to do."
WHOOSH
But what happened next surprised them when Zoom showed up, running into the precinct with blue lightning. Caitlin looked down from the railing, breathing heavily from being dropped off.
Joe, along with every other cop in the precinct, aimed his firearm at the evil speedster. "Zoom!" He exclaimed in shock and anger at the sight of the maniac who kidnapped his son.
Unaffected by numerous firearms trained at him, Zoom looked at Wally. "Hello, old friend."
Completely terrified of the fact of being kept in Zoom's captivity again, Wally West finds himself unable to move a muscle. His brain telling him to move yet his body didn't react in any way.
"Stay away from him!" Joe shouted, pushing his son behind him.
"Do not move." Captain David Singh ordered the evil speedster.
"Or what?" Hunter challenged the captain. "You've tried your guns on me once before."
"No!" Caitlin shouted in desperation, garnering the attention from all the officers and the shocked expression of Joe West. "Don't hurt them." She pleaded of the evil speedster who narrowed his eyes at her. "Let them go, please."
Zoom mulled it over in his head… and those few seconds felt like hours to those who were in fear of his next actions. He made his decision clear, facing the police force. "Tell everyone that this city is mine. Anyone who disobeys me… Will meet their end." The blue lightning kept sparking over his form, menacingly increasing the ominous presence he emanates out.
David shifted his eyes around, locking onto the eyes of his officers. He saw their hands quaking in fear and their darting eyes, as well as the heavy gulps they swallowed. Speaking loudly, he made his decision known. "All right. Clear out!"
Joe threw the doctor on the upper floor a look of concern and questioning, which quickly faded when he received a nodding from her. He didn't want to leave her in the hands of this maniac, but he knew that in this situation… It'd be best to comply.
Along with his fellow officers and his captain, Joe walked out of the precinct. The detective and the captain kept their eyes and their guns trained on Zoom, who remained unafraid of the firearms as their lead projectiles would never reach him when fired.
And Caitlin begged with all of her heart and soul… that she'd be rescued by the man she loves.

(Earth-2)
"She's not here?" Seth asked in fear, worry and a plethora of other emotions that couldn't even describe his current feelings.
Killer Frost, Evelyn and Seth watched Felicity shake her head and sigh before responding. "I've checked the city a zillion of times, Seth. All of them got the same result, zilch. Chances are she's taken to Earth-1 just like Bliss said before."
"Maybe you've gotten rusty?" Killer Frost chortled.
Eye Sight faced her old friend with a dry look. "Caitlin, I've been doing this way before high school, I don't get rusty. Trust me, I know what I'm doing."
"Guess that means we're going home." Evelyn stated to her father.
Seth nodded immediately. "We are. We need to get your Mom back, after all."
"Seth…" Felicity stopped the father and daughter before they could move to the exit. "God, I'm going to Hell for this, but…" She inhaled deeply. "Could I maybe convince you to stay for a while? At least, 24 hours, tops."
"Why?" Seth asked, his voice full of confusion at her request.
"She's hiding something." Venom deduced and his host had come to the same conclusion.
Felicity revealed the truth. "While I was searching for Zoom and Caitlin, I also ran a search for Tony and Marcus."
Evelyn became confused. "Why? Haven't they come back yet?"
"No, not yet, and I haven't heard from them in a while now, so I searched for them." Felicity sighed again. "…Their tracking devices in their phones aren't responding whenever I try to turn them on… I'm scared something happened to them."
"Maybe they lost their phones." Evelyn suggested.
"Maybe… Or something worse happened." The technopath gulped.
Seeing that reaction and that expression on her old friend's face, Killer Frost pitched in. "Where'd your boyfriends get lost at?" Felicity, Evelyn and Seth turned to the icy metahuman with shock. "What? I can be empathetic."
"You wanna help?" Seth asked for confirmation.
"Girl's gotta kill time somehow." Killer Frost quipped.
The mutant accepted that, for now. Looking back to the technopath, he asked. "Where'd you lose them?"
"Does this mean, you're gonna help me find them?" Felicity asked hopefully.
Shrugging his shoulders, the elemental answered. "Give me the pieces and the board, then I'll see if the game's worth playing. Got some important stakes as is."
"Fair enough." Felicity accepted and pressed her hand on the wall, a red light shining under her palm and emanated an inaudible whirring sound when her biometrics were scanned. The wall shifted and revealed a very large screen that filled the entire wall. "Marcus and Tony went to a shipping yard to retrieve something Mera sent us."
"You mean something from Atlantis?" Evelyn asked.
"Exactly, yeah. And not just anything, but weapons." Felicity revealed.
"Princess Sparkling Water is smuggling weapons into the city?" Killer Frost scoffed with a chuckle. "Well, guess anything's possible in Central City now."
"It's legal, she's shipping them to our group, via CCPD connections and favors that Iris provided us with." Felicity explained while the screen showed a virtual map of the city. "Mera had her laboratories in Atlantis construct weapons with hydro-conversion capabilities and brought them to us in shipping containers with crates inside of it."
"Hydro-conversion?" The younger metahuman questioned out loud. "Atlantean weapons convert water into ammo?"
"Into energy, actually." Felicity clarified. "Pretty powerful weapons. Anyone of those could knock an Atlantean themselves off the ground with a single blast. Against Zoom and his goons? One blast will knock them out for sure."
"You said your Princess friend shipped your weapons to Central City, right?" Killer Frost stepped forward. Momentarily surprised by her old friend's question and involvement, Felicity nodded her confirmation. "Which shipping yard? There's a few in the city."
"In total, she sent three containers with weapons crates, so three places. Two of them have been found and are being brought to us as we speak." The technopath noted, two yellow dots appearing on the virtual city on the screen, indicating the locations of the two yards. "The last one?" A red dot appeared on the map, on the edge of the edge near the water. "Is at Central City Docks-"
"Central City Docks?" Caitlin-2 interrupted her. "You sure about that?"
"According to Mera and the transport ships I hacked into, then yeah." Felicity nodded again.
Killer Frost sighed and confessed. "Chances are your boyfriends are captured by Mitch Romero." Felicity's eyes expanded to the sizes of planets at the frosty metahuman's words.
"Mitch Romero?" Evelyn asked in shock at that familiar name.
"Who's Mitch Romero?" The elemental asked, jumping in with confusion on his face.
"Mitch Romero is the head of Central City's biggest gun-running operation." Killer Frost revealed.
Seth gave her a strange look. "Another of Zoom's goons?"
"Poker buddy to be exact." Killer Frost smirked.
Evelyn shocked them with her next statements. "Not just that. He steals from shipping yards and anything that's valuable, he sells and gets money. Sometimes that's how he gets his weapons too, from containers that are used to smuggle weapons into the city, if he hasn't already stolen them from laboratories."
"Evie, how do you know this?" Seth asked his daughter.
"I used to steal from this guy when he had cash lying around." Evelyn explained.
The elemental sighed at his daughter's confession. "When I think I've heard everything about your life, Evie, you continue to prove me wrong."
"Back to this thing, Mitch might have captured your friends before they got close to the container." The icy metahuman nodded to the screen and she got everyone's attention. "He's notoriously known to have captured anyone who gets in his way or tries to steal from him."
"You don't think they're dead?" The technopath asked worriedly, her eyes and hair shifting their length and color repeatedly.
"Maybe not. Romero usually keeps any troublemakers alive in his base and tortures them." Caitlin walked to the screen and placed a finger on Central City Docks. "Most of them only last a week or so, though."
Felicity angrily stated. "Tony and Marcus are metas, they got powers, Romero's a human with maybe a dozen of human goons. They couldn't possibly defeat them."
Caitlin reminded the technopath. "With Atlantean weapons, then yeah they could."
Turning to Eye Sight and the map behind her, Seth tried to ease Eye Sight's mind. "But it's been less than a two days, so they could still be alive."
"Alive as Romero's target practice." Killer Frost added bluntly.
"Not helping, Frosty." Seth told Caitlin-2 and she mockingly raised her hands in defense. "… We're gonna save them and get those weapons back…" He turned back to Felicity. "So, your team is ready to face off against Zoom and his band of not-so merry metas."
"Thanks, Seth… Means a lot." Felicity smiled. "I know you want to save your Caitlin, and-"
"We're friends, Felicity. Tony and Marcus are my friends too. I protect all of my friends. I'll find them, save them, and then mosey back to Earth-1 to turn Zoom's insides outside with the skills of a surgeon and the enthusiasm of a psychopath." Seth casually informed. "Maybe make a backpack out of that ugly suit of his by the end of the day."
"Thanks for that image, pal." Felicity groaned and shivered. "You're gonna need help, you know."
"No offense, but with Atlantean weapons on the enemies' side, your pepper spray is gonna be like bringing bubbles to fight a tsunami." Seth admitted.
"Then how about bringing an Ice Queen?" Killer Frost suggested and got up close to the mutant's side.
Seth looked in her direction. "You wanna help me save them?"
"I know the territory better than you, handsome." Caitlin-2 stroked his cheek with her fingernails. "And I know that someone as strong as Venom will definitely need an extra pair of hands when dealing with at least twenty or thirty guns with advanced Atlantean technology."
Evelyn chimed in. "I'm there too, you know."
"Think we both know your old man here is gonna need all the help he can get, right?" Killer Frost quipped while stroking the elemental's face. "You up for an adventure?"
"Careful with this one, Seth. She might just get you hooked." Venom chuckled when feeling his host's heart beat rapidly like a rampaging rhino in his chest when feeling himself relax at Killer Frost's touch.
"I'm fine…" Seth trailed off.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
"Caitlin's with Zoom." Joe revealed to the team after returning to the facility.
"Mom's here? She's safe?" Frankie asked the detective in concern for her mother's well-being.
"Safe as she can be in Zoom's hands, honey." Joe answered the young girl.
"Why would he bring her here?" Iris wondered.
Harry knew the answer. "To show power. That's exactly what he did on my Earth."
"What are you talking about, Wells?" Ruby asked the Earth-2 scientist.
Harrison answered. "The first thing he did was murder people. Slaughtered a bunch of policemen. Then recruited every metahuman he could find. And those that disobeyed, he killed too."
"Or capture them and keep in his cages." The former HYDRA assassin crossed her arms. "Like he did with me and Evelyn."
"Exactly." Harry said. "And now that Zoom's here, with Snow, he's got leverage, knowing that with her in his palm, we won't act rashly and try to fight back to rescue her."
"So, my mother's nothing more than a pawn to him?" Frankie sneered with shining purplish eyes. Barry and his father turning scared at the sight of those enraged eyes.
"Unfortunately, yes, Fury." Harrison nodded. "As long as he has her, he's got something to keep you, your sisters and the rest of the team in check. Not to mention your father's gonna be hesitant to move now that his girlfriend's life is on the line."
Frankie's eyes returned to blue. "Damn it."
Matt walked into the Cortex; his hand wrapped around the gauntlet made for Ruby. "But this means that Evelyn and Seth are still on Earth-2 right now."
"Yes, so we lost a powerful chess piece." Harry said.
Ruby glared at the Earth-2 scientist. "Wells, I don't give a damn if you're the smartest man on either of Earth-1 or 2, but you don't treat my parents like they're chess pieces."
"Sorry, Ruby." Harry expressed to the former assassin.
Olivia leant forward in the chair at the console. "Does this mean we have to send someone to Earth-2 to pick up those two?"
"No." Harrison shook his head.
"Why not?" Henry inquired of the Earth-2 scientist.
"We send someone over there; we lose one on our side here. We need everyone here to fight Zoom." Harry argued. "Fury and his daughter are strong enough to take care of themselves, Henry. They'll find out Snow's here and will come back at a moment's notice."
Frankie nodded her agreement. "Sounds like Dad and Evie."
Ruby scoffed. "Then it's a waiting game for now."
A question popped into Barry's mind. "Where are the police now?" He directed to Joe.
"Outside the precinct." The detective replied.
"He'll kill them, Joe. He'll kill them all." Harry stated bluntly.
Joe argued. "Not with Caitlin with him. She talked him out of killing everyone when he took over CCPD."
"That's what we're gonna rely on? Snow talking him out of it?" Harry asked.
Iris raised an eyebrow. "How'd she even talk him out of it? I mean, Caity's a sweet talker, sure, but why'd Zoom even listen to her."
"Yeah, it'd be more likely for Mom to talk down Dad from going berserk." Ruby stated.
"Zoom listened to her for a reason…" Frankie muttered to herself.
"There's no rhyme or reason to Zoom's actions." Harry responded in retaliation.
"Actually, there is." Olivia got their attention. "Remember, shrink here. I analyze weirdos on a daily basis, I even worked on Trickster a few times before. Zoom's no different."
"You treated the same guy who kidnapped my Dad like a normal patient?" Barry asked the psychic in shock.
"Patient's a patient to me." Olivia stated firmly before returning to the matter. "The reason Zoom's listening to Caitlin is because she was the only one who was willing to help him when he was Jay Garrick."
"When he was dying." Matt added and his wife nodded her agreement.
"So, what, Zoom's feeling indebted in Caitlin?" Joe asked.
"Possibly, yeah." Olivia stated. "Only thing that makes sense for me, at least."
"No offense, Frankie but your mom has strange relationships with guys." Magenta told her host.
"Hey!" Frankie mentally shouted, she really wished her "other" would keep her comments to herself sometimes.
"It's not gonna be enough. Joe, you need to get those guys out of there." Harry adamantly told the detective.
"What if they set up at Jitters?" Barry suggested.
"That's a good idea, it's just a block away from the precinct." Joe accepted the suggestion.
"And then what? What happens next?" Harry snapped his eyes to Barry. "You saw what Zoom did on my Earth, Stark and Fury saw the same. He will do the exact same thing here. Barry, we need to get you your powers back."
Henry, having heard the story from his son back in his cabin, argued. "There must be another way."
"There's not." Harry shook his head. "There's not." He walked away to finish his calculations for this plan of his that will hopefully succeed and give Barry his speed back.
"I'm gonna get word to Singh. Get him to set up a task force at Jitters." Joe made his plan clear as he walked to the exit.
"And then what?" Iris asked her father.
"I don't know yet, but I'm gonna make sure Wally and Jesse are safe." The detective finalized his plan before walking out.
Frankie rushed out of the Cortex and Ruby followed her sister. Seeing his nieces walk away so powerfully and angrily, the nanite mutant got a disturbing feeling and walked after them.

(CCPD)
Once again cuffed, Caitlin shook her wrist and heard the handcuff chains rattling throughout the empty precinct. She tried to get the cuffs off with repeated attempts, but to no avail.
Sighing her concede, the captured doctor thought. "What I wouldn't give to have Seth's knife right now?" If the mutant's Karambits knife in her possession, she might have been able to get out of this position. She hated that she was in this position.
Regardless of his reasons, Zoom did take her back home, yeah… But she was nowhere near her daughters or the mutant she loves… And she hates that… And she loathes that she's even close to Zoom.
Her eyes turned up and she saw Zoom inching towards her. "You know they're gonna figure out a way to stop you, right?"
"Who? Barry? Matt? Wells? The police? Maybe your daughters or Seth? Know you have a whole lot of faith in your family." Hunter saw Caitlin's eyes brim with anger and rage at the mention of her family and she struggled again to free herself from the cuffs. He laughed at the array of emotions. "No. Nobody can stop me now. Not anymore."
"So… What's your plan?" Caitlin asked. "You're just gonna kill everyone?"
"Sounds like a good plan to me." Hunter chuckled.
"Then why are you keeping me here? To keep my daughters from storming into this place?" Caitlin inquired.
Hunter didn't speak right away, a series of flashbacks hitting his mind appearing before he finally replied. "Because I don't want to be alone anymore…" He twisted his head around. "That and, yeah, your daughters are definitely the most dangerous heroes right now. Keeping you close does keep them in check, and Seth, too."
"He's gonna come and defeat you once and for all." Caitlin adamantly said.
"I think I've finally pieced it together." She looked confused and Hunter explained, crouching down before the doctor. "You think that Seth is not like me… that you're not like me, but there's darkness in you, Caitlin. Just like it was inside Killer Frost. All you have to do… is unlock it…" He chuckled. "And use it."
Deciding to let the doctor soak in his words, he returned to his full height before running out of the precinct.
Caitlin didn't know how to feel about the evil speedster's words… about a locked darkness that's inside of her… A darkness akin to that of Killer Frost's… That of Seth's…
Could she really be housing something like that?
Could Caitlin actually have a pitch-black miasma… something unknown… birthing inside of her body right now… without her knowing of its presence?
The thought made her gag and cover her mouth in disgust, it felt like she had to throw up again and unleash a projectile of her stomach contents with the force of a missile. But she forced it down and coughed to clear her throat. "What is happening?"
Even with her wide and vast medical knowledge in multiple fields of medicine… She couldn't figure out what's going on with her body.
Her attention was diverted when she saw an evidence box under a desk. Stretching out her hands and her legs, she reached out for the box, trying to grasp it. Hopefully, something in the box will help her out of this situation….
And help her find her way back home to her family.

(S.T.A.R. Labs, Cisco's Workshop)
Standing in Cisco's workshop, Ruby stood tall in her Destroyer suit. She checked the mask in her hands before placing it on the table and equipping the gauntlet on her left arm. Clenching and unclenching her hand, she saw the nozzles eject out of the back of the gauntlet. At the sound of the whirring gears in her armored glove, she knew that her uncle had modified it thoroughly.
Ruby thrusts her fist, punching the air. "Perfect."
Frankie craned her neck with both hands while her clothes changed colors and morphed into pinkish miasmic skin, black and white veins spiraling around her body with serpentine-like movements. Her hands turned clawed hands and she flexed said claws, elongating them into razor-sharp talons.
Her face, untouched by the symbiotic skin, looked at her sister. "Ready for this? It's gonna be tough."
"Mom's in there, that's all that matters." Ruby lifted her blade, holding it close to her face. "I really don't give a damn if it's the lion's den, another Earth, or the past in another universe… I'm not going to leave my Mom in the hands of a psychopath."
"Good…" Frankie smiled, gliding her talons against each other. "Cause I'm not sure going into CCPD alone is the smartest choice."
"Good thing you're not going alone then." Ruby smirked while placing the Chakram Blade on her back. "Let's go."
"No, you're not." Matt's announcement stopped his nieces, clad in his Iron Knight suit. Both turned surprised at his sudden presence. "Would say I'm surprised, but I'd be lying if I said so."
"Waste of time explaining things to you, Unc." Ruby realized out loud. "We're going to save Mom, period."
"I wouldn't do that, girls." Matt countered.
The magnekinetic stated next. "Uncle Matt, it's our Mom. We're not gonna leave her in Zoom's hands and we're gonna waste time on this plan that Harry came up with."
"Which Barry may or may not choose to go through with." Ruby added. "We're wasting time debating and talking about this, time that could have been used to help and save our Mom, which should be our number one priority, not focus on Barry Allen all the time!"
Frankie faced her uncle with disbelief. "Uncle, you know what Dad did when he saw Aunt Liv get pulled through that portal on your Earth… He didn't hesitate to go and save his family from a psychopathic serial killer. He didn't wait for permission; he didn't wait for a plan, or someone to get his powers back… He just jumped into it and spent every single second trying to find her… Why shouldn't we do the same for Mom? She's within our reach, we know where she is."
"I know that, girls." Matt nodded rapidly, understanding his nieces and their frustration. "I know how you feel. Trust me, I'm not a fan of this entire thing with Wells's plan and trying to get Barry's speed back."
"Then why are you stopping us right now?!" Ruby screamed. Matt took a step back in surprise at her booming voice. "Uncle Matt, it's our Mom." Gesturing to herself and her sister, she added. "Me, Frankie and Evie… We lost people or were taken from them, or never even had them to begin with… But Mom and Dad changed that for us. They saved us and gave us a family that we never thought we'd have."
"Bout time we return the favor." Frankie added adamantly with an iron-will stronger than that of the nanite mutant's own bones.
"Family don't owe favors to each other." Matt countered. "... Your parents didn't adopt you two and your sister, so they'd get a favor cashed in later on. They adopted you three, so you'd have a better life… a life where they're your parents. They don't want payback for doing the right thing."
"But you can't ask us to wait here, Uncle. Not when our Mom is in Zoom's hands and all everyone on the team is doing is talk about this plan to get Barry's powers back." Ruby knew she was reciting her own words, but she felt like she really had to hammer down this nail.
Matt said. "We're not asking you to wait, we're asking you to fight for your home… Your parents' home." They were defiant, he could see that in their eyes, clear as day. "And fight the smartest way you know. You know Zoom's metas, from firsthand experience on Earth-2." He directed to Ruby. "With you here, we'd be able to counter Zoom's metas."
"… Fine…" Ruby shocked both Frankie and Matt with her abrupt agreement, like it hit them out of the blue, akin to a lightning strike on a cloud free day. The assassin took off her Chakram Blade, waving it in her uncle's face before placing it on the table. "We're staying put."
"Say what?!" Frankie heard her "other" scream her astonishment.
"Really? Just like that?" Matt asked and he received a nod of agreement from Ruby. He shared a confused look with Frankie before turning back to Ruby. "Okay…. Good you understand."
"Nothing a good old fashion talk with one's uncle to straighten things out, right?" Ruby quipped.
"Right." The mutant nodded. "Okay." He turned around and walked towards the exit, mostly on account of this conversation turning incredibly awkward. "Good talk."
"Wait, Uncle Matt." Frankie stopped him from walking out. The young metahuman gestured to his armor and asked. "You… You wore your armor because you thought you'd have to fight us?"
"Yup." Matt immediately said, his nieces raising eyebrows in shock. "Half expected you guys to immediately jump into a fight or something when I said no." He finished off before walking away.
"Don't know how to feel about that." Frankie admitted to her sister.
"Let's go!" Ruby snatched her blade again.
"Wait, what?" Frankie turned to her sister who walked to the small vent entrance under the desk. "We have a vent there? But you just said-"
"I know what I said." Ruby said while removing the gritted vent gate. "But I meant what I said about saving Mom, too. Our Uncle ain't gonna stop us from doing that."
"Nice job." Frankie nodded with a smile.
"But I got to ask…" Ruby narrowed her eyes on her sister's form. "Is everyone on this Earth so gullible? Cause it was easy to trick you."
"Shut up." Frankie countered. "But you wanna go through the vent?"
"We're both pretty small enough to go through." Ruby deduced. "Let's go. Mom's waiting." Frankie nodded and watched her sister crawl into the vent. Following the former assassin, the young metahuman crawled into the vent.
A tendril shot out and grabbed the vent gate, placing it back.

(Earth-2, Central City Docks)
"Wow!" Evelyn gasped when she appeared out of the shroud of shadows on top of a stack of containers with Killer Frost and Seth. The young metahuman shifted around in surprise, shocked that this tower of containers was still here.
After taking a look around, seeing that they were placed on the top container of a stack of them, Seth looked to his daughter. "You knew about this thing being here, honey?"
"This was my hiding spot when I had to see what's happening. Perfect for overview." Evelyn answered. She lied down on her stomach, looking over the sea of containers underneath them.
"Impressive." Seth praised her while examining their surroundings from their vantage point. "You were born to be a sniper, kiddo."
"Anyone can find a good vantage point, even in a game." Killer Frost sniped.
"You really don't have an ounce of kindness in that heart of yours, do you?" The mutant asked with an eyeroll.
"Cold as ice, handsome. Besides you're the one raising weird kids." Killer Frost nodded to one of his daughters.
"They're not weird." Seth defended his children. Evelyn gave him a knowing look, to which he responded with a tilting head like it's on a scale. "Okay, Evie here was hunted by the police because she's a thief. Frankie takes after me and is actually a cannibal. Ruby's an assassin from the future of my world…" Realizing what he just said, the elemental faced his daughter. "Okay you three should lean towards your mother, she's a better role model."
"Anyone with my face would be." Killer Frost smirked.
"Guys, down!" Evelyn whispered loudly to the two, making them crouch down on the container. "See." She pointed a finger down to the ground. The icy metahuman and the elemental followed the direction of her finger and saw what she was pointing at.
A man in a bulky red armor appeared. His armor consists of a fish and sea patterned armor. The shoulder pads fashioned with gill-like patterns as is his helmet. Metal fins placed on the back of his armored legs and on the sides of his forearms. The pale man in the armor looked through his blue visor, scanning his surroundings. Something similar to booster engines are placed on the suit, one on the back and the calves of the legs. A water tank is attached to the back of the armor, pipes connecting it to the armor and also to the more menacing tool he's wielding.
While his armor was surprising and threatening, the most dangerous aspect of the ensemble is a long black rifle-like weapon, emanating a dark bluish light.
"Holy crap…" Killer Frost muttered, regretting her decision to calm along now.
"She's terrified by the sight of that weapon." Venom told his host.
Taking heed of his partner's words, the mutant faced the icy metahuman who kept watching the armored thug. "Frost, what's wrong? You're paler than a ghost."
"Thanks, natural color for me." She kept throwing jokes. But Seth showed that he wasn't in the mood for jokes with a serious expression. Killer Frost sighed, nodding to the rifle. "That thing that meathead's holding… That's a hydro-pulse rifle, they convert water into plasma blasts, strong enough to blast through armor. That princess of yours is crazy to send those here."
"Not to armor, but a single blast can also burn through flesh." Evelyn added in fear, horror of seeing her father be ridden with plasma bolts appeared in her mind in a vision. "We should get away."
"No." Seth shook his head. "Romero's a bad guy and with those things on the street, it's gonna be war. Blood will flow and people will die, innocent people will die. We can't let that happen."
Killer Frost gave him an incredulous look. "What's the plan then, Doc? Hope he doesn't get scared of the two-ton demon with elemental powers when he shows his face?"
Seth shook his head and stood up, his form slowly enveloping by the black symbiotic mass. "Gonna try something stealthier." He whispered in a transforming voice before jumping off the container.
The thug was under him, on the ground and continuing his perimeter search with his fully charged hydro-pulse. Seth placed himself on the ledge of the container he's standing on, looking down on the armored thug. Despite the fact that the mutant's shadow was completely over him, the thug continued his sweep without knowing any better.
Venom looked up, peering towards the storage warehouse that closed its doors. It was close to the edge of the docks, far from his current position. "Meaning that no one will come to his rescue when we take him down." The symbiote stated, following his host's thoughts.
"Exactly."
Focusing his attention on the thug's hydro-pulse rifle, the mutant lashed out his arm, grabbing onto the rifle and pulled it out of the surprised henchman's hands. Fling the hydro weapon to the side, Venom jumped down just in time to see the thug turn his eyes upwards.
The thug rolled out of the way before Venom brought down his sword. He snapped around and saw the grunt return to his full height. "Heard you were gone?"
"Never trust the news." Venom's serpentine tongue rolled out of his open maw, licking the surfaces of his fangs.
"Noted." The thug cracked his fists before taking a fighting stance. "Boss's gonna love your head on a pike." Unflinchingly he charged the large elemental with a clenched fist.
Clenching his own fist, Seth thrusted his right hand, turning it into adamantium and sparked lightning around it. The two fists collided, the mutant's strike proved superior and pushed the henchman off the ground. But that was part of his plan, allowing him to roll to the ground and retrieve his rifle.
The thug connected the pipe from his water tank to his hydro weapon and pulled the trigger, the sound of sloshing water transferring into it emitted from it. Taking aim at the elemental, the thug pulled the trigger and projected a powerful blast.
Before the mutant could react, the blast hit him and launched him into an array of containers.
"No-" Evelyn's words were cut short by Killer Frost who slammed her hand over her mouth.
"Wait…" The doppelganger of her mother nodded to the containers that were slammed by the mutant's form. Together they saw Seth's head stick out of the bended container walls. "Well, what do you know… Kid, bring us down there, behind the thug."
"What? Why?" Eclipse inquired.
"Trust me." Killer Frost looked deep into the other metahuman's eyes.
With that face, a face akin to her own mother's, it was hard to say no. "Alright." Evelyn grabbed her forearm and disappeared in a smog of shadows.
Seth pushed himself out of the containers and looked up, his eyes meeting the barrel of the pulse rifle. "Last words, Venom?"
"I do." Killer Frost quipped suddenly while projecting an ice blast at the thug's right leg, freezing his limb to the ground.
"What the hell?!" The henchman screamed and turned his head to her.
His weapon, raised to fire, was cut in two by Eclipse's light sword. Killer Frost clenched her fist, ice forming around her hand into a big ice fist. She smashed the ice weapon into the side of the thug's helmet, shattering the visor and breaking the helmet. The henchman himself fell to the ground while still clad in the armor, completely knocked out.
Killer Frost smirked at Seth who's form revealed itself when the symbiote retracted. "You're welcome."
"At least, let me thank you both." Seth stated and got out of the hole in the containers. "Thanks." Evelyn jumped into her father's arms, wrapping hers around him in a tight hug. Wrapping his arms around her to reciprocate the hug, he said. "I'm okay, honey. Don't worry."
"I'm just happy." Evelyn said with a smile as she unwrapped her arms. "But how the heck are you alive?"
"Surprised myself, actually." The mutant chuckled nervously. He looked at his own body. "After hearing you overhype that weapon, I expected I'd have a hole in my guts… again, but I'm fine. You two overstated the weapon's capabilities."
"Don't think that's the case, Seth." Caitlin-2 stated, the father and daughter looked to her for answers. Crouching down beside the unconscious thug, the icy metahuman pulled off his smashed helmet. She looked through the hole, letting her eyes look through the remains of the blue visor. "Think your princess changed the gears from lethal to stun or something less fun."
Confusedly Evelyn tilted her head. "What makes you say that?"
"These weapons are supposed to blast a hole in whatever they're blasting, but your old man here is all good." Killer Frost waved the helmet at the mutant. "So, chances are your Atlantean princess must have modified these weapons, made them weaker."
"Mera did that?" Evelyn directed to her father.
Shrugging unsurely the mutant pulled out his phone and dialed in Felicity's number. "Let's ask the expert." He placed his phone on his ear. "Felicity?"
"Sup, what is it?" Eye Sight asked.
"Mera say anything about the weapons she had shipped over?" Seth locked eyes with the icy metahuman. "Cause according to our residential Ice Queen, the weapons have been modified so they're not lethal. You know if that's true?" He put the phone on speaker.
"Actually, I don't." The technopath answered. "For someone who slept through all classes, I'm pretty shocked that Caitlin figured something like this out."
"I listened, sometimes." Caitlin reminded her friend.
"Thought as much… But it's a good thing, isn't it?" Felicity asked them unsurely. "If the weapons are only made to be stun or just to knock someone out, means they won't kill anyone. Right?"
Both Seth and Evelyn knew she was referring to her friends, Tony and Marcus who are in Mitch Romero's hands. These weapons were transported to Felicity's team, so they'd have a fighting chance against Zoom. And now because of them, her friends are in danger and a notorious operation may now be in possession of highly advanced Atlantean weapons.
"Not always true, Felicity." Killer Frost snatched the phone from the mutant's hand. "Sure, they can't kill someone with a single shot, but a wave of them? That's a totally different story and can definitely pummel someone to death… Even metahumans."
"Oh God…" Felicity gasped on the other end.
Taking back the phone Seth said. "Nothing's gonna happen to them, Felicity. I promise you; we're getting them out and getting you those weapons. We'll save them." The mutant hung up and faced the icy metahuman. "You and Felicity are friends, try and understand her situation a bit, would you?"
"People die, Seth. That's the reality of our situations." Killer Frost said.
"Hey." Evelyn said.
Seth walked closer to her. "... As someone's who's been through death in his life… to another one… We can at least make sure Felicity doesn't go through another herself. Do you wanna help with that, Caitlin… or not?" He asked.
"Fine…" Killer Frost leant forward, close to his ear. "But I'm staying behind you… just so I can watch that ass." She bit his earlobe.
"Okay, I'm spoken for." Seth gently pushed her back.
Evelyn fought the urge to grimace in disgust at their antics.

(Earth-1, Tavern)
Cisco… was bored as hell, which was not suitable for him as he was in a bar with his brother, Dante Ramon.
After that strange vibe about his brother, Cisco immediately set up an appointment with his brother, to talk about things. More accurately, he hoped things were going well for him. But things immediately went off to a rocky start with his brother.
Upon his arrival, while sipping on his beer Dante immediately asked his brother if something were wrong which could have been the only reason for the meetup. Cisco sheepishly explained that he had a feeling that he should come see him and check up on him, make sure he's okay.
Dante jokes, saying that he is not gonna be kidnapped by Captain Cold and Heatwave again. Cisco graciously reminded his brother that they were both kidnapped by them and that he was safe from another kidnapping. To which Dante reminded him that he was the one whose hand was hit by the Cold Gun.
Things quickly, quickly took a sour turn down the street and Cisco confessed he was an idiot to think that the whole experience with the Snarts and Heatwave… would somehow bring them closer.
Bluntly the elder brother stated that they hadn't been close since they were kids and that nothing would ever change that.
After that rousing conversation, the brothers sat in silence, awkward silence.
Dante looked up at the TV, seeing that the news channel is still on. Turning to the bartender, he requested. "Can you put the Diamonds game on?" The bartender nodded and the pianist sipped on his beer again.
"Sports." Cisco dropped the toothpick. "That's my cue." He got up from his stool and took his jacket. "All right, well, this was fun. Good hang." He told his brother while pulling on his jacket.
Dante looked at him. "Wait." He pushed the bill to him. "Gonna take care of that, right?" Cisco gave his brother a dry look. "Dude, you invited me."
"Unbelievable." Cisco stated as he pulled out the bucks out of his wallet. Slamming the money on the counter, the engineer faced the bar and saw the bartender switch from sports to the news channel. The headline on the screen scared him.
"Zoom Takes over CCPD"
"Hey, hold up!" Cisco stopped the bartender from changing channels. Repeatedly reading the headline and the fact that it was breaking news, the engineer settled his eyes on the photo of Zoom… on this Earth, again. "Oh, no."
"What?" Dante asked his brother, but he was already rushing towards the exit. "Cisco? Hey, wait." He called out to his brother before running after him.

Magenta and Destroyer swung through the air. The young magnekinetic ran along the ledge of a rooftop, briefly throwing a glance behind her and saw her sister managing to swing properly. She even saw Ruby run along the ledge of a building.
"Not bad." Frankie thought to herself, impressed with her sister's agility and ability to expertly run on such dangerous places.
"Like you're one to talk. Running on dangerous places is kind of your schtick." Magenta told her host.
"That's because I got you to help me out in tough situations." The magnekinetic said, running along the side of a wall.
"Speaking of tough situations, your sister's in one."
Coming to a stop, Frankie swung her head to the side and saw her sister falling off the ledge. "Shit! Ruby!" The brick wall under her feet cracked from the tremendous pressure she put into her legs before shooting off like a rocket. Magenta spiraled into the air, slamming her feet against the underside of the ledge and shot out her hand, stretching it out for her sister like a hook.
Ruby looked up and saw the purple hand stretch out for her. Extending her hand, the gravity manipulator let her wrist be wrapped around by the symbiotic hand. The symbiotic appendage tenses, making the assassin bounce in the air, and she hung in the air for a moment. But she was then elevated and brought closer to her sister's face which looked directly down at her.
"How's it hanging, sis?" Frankie quipped with a smile.
"Great, bad jokes. What's next? Wear bright colors when hero-ing?" Ruby sarcastically countered.
Magenta laughed at her sister's words before swinging them over the ledge, placing them on the rooftop. "Be careful, Ruby. You don't have my wall-crawling, so you will definitely go splat if you fall." She made a show of thinking, stroking her chin while her head was tilted. "Think about it? HYDRA assassin turned street art. Make a killing for sure."
"As long as we save Mom, I'm okay being street art." Ruby admitted.
"Me, Evie, Mom and Dad, we're definitely not okay with that." Frankie rubbed her back for comfort, trying to sooth her sister. "We're gonna save her, you know that."
"… Weird being without Mom and Dad and Evie… I hate it, actually." Ruby confessed. "I really want them all back."
"They're coming back, Rubs." Frankie assured her sister. "But we got to keep a leveled head, otherwise we're gonna make mistakes and things are gonna go bad." She gestured to the ground that Ruby was about to fall down to. "Like you pummeling to your death. It's not gonna help any of us if we act recklessly and without thought."
"… Fine…" Destroyer craned her neck.
"Wait… That's a real "fine," right?" The magnekinetic asked for confirmation, unsure if it's a genuine "fine" or not. "If not, I will throw you into a junkyard and have all the metal fall on you like an avalanche."
"Good luck, I'll hurl them back in your face if that happens." Ruby dared her sister.
EXPLOSION
Both sisters snapped their eyes to the side where they heard an explosion appear, black smoke rising to the skies and fiery flashes appearing all over the streets.
"What's going on?" Frankie faced the direction with concern on her face.
"You wanna go?" Ruby asked.
"It's the right thing, after all." Frankie stated.
Ruby smirked behind her mask. "After you."
Frankie showed a toothy smirk. "Let's go, swamp mouth!" She jumped off the ledge, shooting out tendrils and swinging towards the direction of the explosion.
Before the assassin went to jump after her sister, Ruby felt her right shoulder itch in pain. She briefly rubbed her shoulder before jumping off the rooftop. A grappling hook shot out of her gauntlet, hooking onto a wall before she swung after her sister.
While swinging through the air… She thought it was weird that her right shoulder itched in pain.
X
On the ground with his brother, Dante, Cisco didn't know what to think after an explosion knocked them down and they saw that it was a man walking towards them. But with each step that he took towards the brothers… A single feeling rose to the front…
… fear…
Cisco couldn't help but take in the man's strange suit. A dark red suit with patches and pads with a greyish overtone. His entire face is covered by some kind of a mask with huge black-tinted eyeglasses, a prominent nose and a mouth plate. Attached to the patches on his shoulders, a dark-red cape flapped behind him.
But the most terrifying item of the suit was the long and sharp scythe that the man was wielding. Reddish energy enveloped its entire long form, running over the weapon in the form of a reddish lightning while it caused the weapon to emit a clear magma-like glow.
Shutting off his energy, Rupture held his scythe with both hands and faced Cisco. "Hello, Vibe." He greeted him in a distortive voice.
The viber didn't have time to be confused by this strange metahuman who appeared and knew his superhero name as the scythe wielder walked towards them. "Simmer down, Reaper. We got no beef with you."
"Maybe not, but I've got beef with you, Vibe." Rupture declared.
Dante turned confused. "Why does he keep calling you that?" He asked his brother.
"I don't know." Cisco replied.
Rupture announced. "You killed my brother, so, now, you die."
"Oh, my God." Cisco realized what was happening now. Pointing a finger at him accusatorily, he continued. "You're Princess Bride-ing me right now! You must have me mixed up with somebody else, Inigo."
"I don't think so. My brother was Reverb." Rupture pulled off his mask… And showed the smirking face of Dante Ramon from Earth-2… shocking the Earth-1 Ramon brothers. "Remember now?" He pulled his mask back on and ignited plasma energy over his scythe again.
Cisco got up to his feet. Dante made the sign of the cross but was stopped by his brother's words. "Move!"
"He looks-"
"Get-Get- Get in the van!" Cisco shouted to his brother, making chase him to the S.T.A.R. Labs van.
"He looks like-" Dante stammered in shock.
"Now!" Cisco shouted.
Rupture spun his scythe around over his head, gaining momentum with the plasma energy growing more violently. Both Cisco and Dante saw the scythe wielder's weapon grow redder and redder before he thrusted it, shooting a plasma bolt.
It never connected with them or their vehicle because Destroyer appeared and projected a gravity blast, colliding with the plasma attack and causing the attacks to explode, cracking the asphalt as though it was fissuring from the collision.
The gust from the explosion pushed Rupture back, forcing him to embed his scythe into the ground to anchor him.
Cisco looked shocked at the young gravity manipulator appearing. "What the-"
The van shook and both brothers saw Magenta on top of it. Facing the engineer, she ordered. "Get in the van. We'll handle the dick with the grass shearer." She leaped off the van.
"Get in!" Cisco told his brother and they got into the van.
"I knew there was something wrong." Dante hysterically told his brother. "Every time I see you, we get attacked by lunatics with crazy weapons!" He threw his eyes to the fight between the two young heroes and the scythe wielder.
Magenta swiped the air, hurling lampposts after the evil metahuman who easily cut them into pieces with slashes of his plasma-charged scythe. Destroyer appeared in front of Rupture, thrusting out her Chakram Blade against his scythe which he used to block her attack with.
"What are you doing here, Rupture?!" Destroyer shouted, sparks going off from the connection between plasma and the vibranium.
"Avenging my brother." Rupture scanned the young girl before him. "You're her… The girl from Zoom's prison." He recognized her powers and fighting skills.
"I am." Ruby growled in anger, the memory from their first fight returning to her mind. "But this time is different."
"Oh yeah? Why's that, little girl?" Rupture inquired.
"Name's Destroyer!" The gravity manipulator shouted.
Magenta used her sister like a springboard, jumping over her and wrapped tendrils around the scythe wielder. "And she's not alone!" She shouted, landing on the ground and swung Rupture around, slamming him into a car and making the car roof crack.
The tendrils returned to her body and Frankie morphed her left hand into a mace and clenched her right hand, forcing surrounding metal to fly towards her appendage. The wave of metal objects swarmed around her left arm, enveloping it and enclosed around it. Metal bended and broke into pieces, latching onto her knuckles and forming spikes. The metallic objects enveloped her arm, forming a gauntlet with spikes. "Stay down!"
Destroyer emanated a gravitational force from her body, causing the foundation under her to shake, while holding her Chakram Blade up. "Or you're gonna regret it…"
With a growl, Rupture forced himself out of the smashed vehicle, plasmatic red energy sparking over his entire body before converging to his scythe, enveloping it in a smog of reddish energy. "Little girls like you should be put in place."
"Good luck with that." Destroyer challenged before charging him. Magenta leaped after her sister and Rupture copied their move, charging towards them.
The evil metahuman reeled back his plasma-charged scythe before swinging it after them. Ruby channeled her gravitational powers into her blade. The two bladed weapons collided, gravitational force meeting plasmatic energy, resulting on the ground cracking and fissuring under their feet.
While distracted by her sister, Magenta appeared from beside the scythe-wielder and slammed her gauntleted arm into Rupture's stomach, making him grunt in pain and lose focus. That single moment of losing his concentration was all Destroyer needed to overpower him.
Converging more gravitational energy to her limbs, Ruby managed to push Rupture away from her, sending him down to the ground a few feet away from her. Reeling back her Chakram Blade she hurled it after him. The plasma metahuman held his scythe with both hands, blocking the spinning blade from connecting with him.
Appearing behind him Magenta thrusted her mace into his back. Rupture groaned and was pushed down to his knees. Using her gravity powers, the former assassin called her blade back to her hand. She shared a look with her sister who nodded her agreement.
Magenta placed her feet on his back, sticking them to his back. With all of her strength pouring into her legs, she backflipped the evil metahuman into the air. Landing on her feet in a handstand, Destroyer jumped into the air and used her sister's upright feet as a springboard, jumping off of them and coming up to the scythe-wielder.
Destroyer slammed her blade into his face, cracking it from the left lens to the lower right side of the chin. The metal around Magenta's right arm converged to her palm, forming into a ball and hurled it after the evil metahuman. Landing on the ground, Ruby increased the momentum of the ball with a wave of gravitational force, making it launch into Rupture with the force of a missile.
The sisters watched Rupture skip across the asphalt, slamming into an array of cars before falling to the ground. Both smirked and fist-bumped in victory.
"Girls!" They snapped their eyes to see that Cisco was still here, calling out to them. "Come on, save the victory dance for another fight. Shake a leg!"
"Why's that idiot still here?" Magenta inquired.
"Heck if I know." Destroyer admitted, shooting out the grappling hook and pulled herself onto the rooftop of the van. Her sister joined her a second after.
Cisco drove the van, driving away from the evil metahuman behind them. Beside him, Dante asked his brother. "You want to tell me exactly what you've gotten us into this time?"

(S.T.A.R. Labs)
"He calls himself Rupture." Harry revealed to Cisco, Barry, Matt, Olivia, Iris, Frankie and Ruby in the Cortex of the facility. "Another metahuman under Zoom's control from my Earth."
"Could have told you that myself." Ruby stated, her hood pulled off and her mask in her hand.
Barry looked confused. "You know this guy, Ruby?"
"From Earth-2, yeah." She answered. "He attacked me, Evie, Dad, Barry and Iris from Earth-2 one night. Dad fought him and-"
Olivia remembered this. "You jumped in, attacking Seth and got hurt yourself until Seth saved you, right?"
"How'd you know that?" Ruby asked her aunt.
Tapping her own forehead, the psychic reminded her. "Been in your noggin, kid. I took a peek at your memories from our sessions together." Ruby groaned at that, not liking that her aunt knew some of her darkest moments from Earth-2.
"Great, so Zoom's bringing more of his friends over." Iris surmised.
"That's what I told you he would do." Harry stated.
Standing clad in her symbiotic form without her mask, Frankie faced Cisco. "But he went after you. Why?"
"Zoom must've lied to fake-Dante and told him I was the one who killed Reverb." Cisco answered.
"Which explains why the dude wants you dead." Matt deduced.
Cisco nodded. "We got to do something."
Ruby turned her eyes to the Earth-2 scientist. "Wells, what else do you know about this guy? I've got a bone to pick with him."
"He gets his power from that scythe he wields." Harry explained.
"Thing's legit too…" Cisco gestured to Ruby with a nod of his head. "If Ruby hadn't shown up like an Angel of Death with her gravity waves of doom, that thing could have taken half of the van with him."
At those words, Iris inquired of the sisters. "Why were you two even out there to begin with? There were no robberies in progress or anything on the scanners."
"We… Um…" Frankie looked unsurely to her sister.
"That's a story." Ruby sarcastically said.
"What?" Barry asked.
Matt hollowly chuckled. "They were out in the city because they were gonna go to CCPD to rescue their Mom." Iris, Barry, Harry, and especially Frankie and Ruby looked at the nanite mutant with disbelief. Seeing his nieces' look on him, he chuckled. "Don't be surprised, girls. Your Dad used to play the same trick on me when we were your age, and ended with him and me in a brawl. Always."
"You didn't stop them?" Harry inquired Matt.
"Anything I throw at them; they could literally throw back in my face. Best I could do is make sure they don't do anything stupid." Matt stated.
"Walking into a hellmouth isn't stupid?" Cisco questioned and Matt shrugged his shoulders.
Ruby narrowed her eyes on her uncle. "You… You were gonna come and help us, right?"
"Course I was, we're family." Matt told his niece.
"Matt, you can't just let them go at it like that." Barry told the nanite mutant.
"Barry." Matt stopped him. "They want to save their mother… No matter what."
"Sounds familiar doesn't it?" Olivia pointed at the speedster who backed down. "Ruby, Frankie, even if Evelyn was here, too, they all have the right to protect their family and save them… Difference between you and them is that they won't bend the laws of nature, the natural laws of the world to save their loved ones. They'll be in the present and try and save their loved one, their mother."
"So, you're really… You're the last one to say anything about not saving their loved one, the consequences be damned." Matt said.
Iris saw the words hitting Barry harder and harder, each one pushing the knife deeper into his heart and causing him more and more pain. In an effort to save him further pain, the reporter changed the topic. "Guys… We have to take care of Rupture now." They nodded their agreement. "So far, we need to figure out a way to get it away from him."
Cisco nodded. "Right. Okay, all right. I'm sure I can come up with something. I just have to figure out a way to not tell Dante why this psychopath looks exactly like him." Turning to the nanite mutant, he asked. "Wanna give me a hand?"
"Sure." Matt agreed. "Mind keeping an eye on them?" He directed to his wife with a nod to their nieces.
"Count on me." Olivia winked and her husband walked away with Cisco.
Harry looked up, making eye contact with the former speedster. "You know what you need to do." What more did he have to do to convince Barry that The Flash is needed to fight Zoom?
"… I need a minute." Barry announced before walking away.
"Awesome… More time wasted on Barry Allen." Ruby scoffed.
Olivia was surprised with how much Ruby was expressing frustration and anger as she was unable and not allowed to save her mother… But having spent time in her head via her telepathy, the psychic knew that something more was happening with the former assassin.

(Earth-2, Central City Docks)
Seth impatiently looked at the virtual clock on his phone for what was properly the thousandth time. Gritting his teeth, he bit his index finger as he felt his impatience skyrocket along with his worry which was about to erupt.
A few minutes ago, the two adults sent Evelyn to scope out the area with her teleportation. But in those few minutes, Seth's worry reached unimaginable heights, already nearing the stratosphere at an alarming pace. She's been gone for almost ten minutes and anything can go wrong in ten minutes… especially in a place that's occupied by thugs armed with Atlantean weapons.
"Where is she?" Seth asked impatiently, speaking through his teeth that continued to bite into his index finger.
Seated on a container and swinging her legs, Killer Frost asked him. "It's only been ten minutes, handsome. Maybe she's being thorough, ever think that?"
"I'm her father, Frost. Worrying is part of the job description." Seth stated. "And it increased a thousand-fold on this Earth alone."
"You make my world sound so bad?" She pouted.
Facing her with a blank and humorless look, Seth reminded her. "Your world hunted and shunned my daughter for a heinous crime she didn't commit. So, forgive me for not treating your world better."
"I get that…" Those words shocked the elemental, making him snap to the icy metahuman and narrow his eyes in question. Seeing the look aimed at her, Caitlin-2 jumped off the container and leant against it with crossed arms over her chest. "When… When Charlie died, I got angry at the world, even my Mom."
"Charlie… Your brother." Seth knew he was about to step into some territory that might hurt her, bring back old memories of a loved one. "You never told me about him before? Well, you didn't tell me much about him. What was he like?"
"… The most annoying brother in the world." She chuckled at her own words. "But… I loved him. He took after me and my mother, grew up a brunette and… Well, he also decided to become a doctor."
"… But it didn't come to be." Seth deduced with a saddened tone.
"Winner, winner, chicken dinner." She sadly announced, confirming his words. "He died before getting to college."
"What happened to him?" Seth stood beside the icy metahuman, hoping that she knew that he'd help her if she needed it.
"Died from ALS." Killer Frost declared.
The mutant kept his expression schooled, but did find it surprising that his Caitlin Snow on Earth-1 has a father who died from ALS and her Earth-2 doppelganger's brother died from the same disease. "Strange similarities, but that's common when dealing with multi-versal elements." Venom commented.
"Sounds about right." Seth mentally chuckled. The elemental made eye contact with the icy metahuman. "Sorry to hear about it, Caitlin."
"Thanks… Still weird to hear anyone call me that name." Caitlin-2 said and stepped closer to the mutant. "… But I do like the way it sounds when it comes…" She raised a hand, stroking his right cheek. Her thumb trailing along his lower lip. "From you."
Seth chuckled, taking her hand in his and rubbing the cold flesh on her finger. "Nice try, but still taken."
"What's wrong…" She leant closer to his face with a smirk on her, exhaling cold air in his face. "Can't handle the cold?" Her smirk grew when seeing a thin layer of ice form on his facial features.
"Thought we've been over this already. You can't handle me." Seth pushed her hand, placing it back on her side. "And it won't work. I love my Caitlin."
"Shame…" Killer Frost showed a flirtatious smile. "Maybe I'll join you guys… on your next date?" She winked.
Well… that image will force Seth into experiencing a series of ecstatic dreams, leaving him in a sweaty and panting mess by morning come.
"Horny ape." Venom chastised his host from those thoughts.
Evelyn appeared in a shroud of darkness. She looked up and saw how close her father and her mother's evil doppelganger are, making her narrow her eyes suspiciously. Coughing loudly to get their attention, which she got, she asked sheepishly. "You guys busy or something?"
Seth jumped away from the icy metahuman and nervously coughed at the sight of his daughter. "No, no, of course not, Evie." He cleared his throat, both female metahumans laughing at his antics. "But… Did you figure something out?"
Calming herself down, she told her father. "They're all inside of that storage area to the edge of the port. But I saw Romero… and he was equipped in heavy equipment."
"What kind of equipment?" Killer Frost asked the younger metahuman.
"Like that equipment we saw the on thug before, just much more sturdy and more weaponized." Evelyn informed. "His men have the same type of armor we saw on his grunt, all around in the storage building with either swords or those energy rifles."
"You looked inside the building?" The elemental asked his daughter urgently.
"I did…" She slowly revealed. Her father opened his mouth, but she stopped him. "Dad don't worry. I entered through a vent entrance on the upper level of the building." She pointed to the roof of the storage building, her finger pointing at a vent. "They're metal beams inside that I can walk on, so it's easy for me to sneak in and scope out the territory from above. I saw Romero, his men and I saw Tony and Marcus, both beaten and placed in cells."
"They're okay, right? They're not dead?" Seth asked and his daughter nodded her confirmation, assuring him that they are okay.
"The grunts, how many are there?" Killer Frost asked in reference to Mitch's henchmen.
"Mitch and nine henchmen." Evelyn replied.
"Ten in total." Seth pulled his sword out of his body. "Let's go and take care of them." He snapped his eyes to Caitlin-2. "No killing."
"No promises, pal." Killer Frost countered with a smile.
Evelyn took their hands and shadowported them away, making their way to the storage building.

(Earth-1, CCPD)
Within the otherwise empty working area in the police precinct, Caitlin used all of her might to try and pull the cardboard box to her with her legs. "Come on." She pleaded as she tried again to grab the box with her feet. Finally, after what was probably her fifteenth try, she managed to grasp onto the sides of the box with her feet.
Sighing her relief, she pulled the box closer to her and returned to a sitting position. Stretching out her hand, Caitlin took the lid off the box before searching within with a roaming hand. Maneuvering past flimsy empty evidence bags, some tenacious thumb tacks and a notepad, she finally found something she could use.
Taking the right evidence bag, shaking out the contents, she grabbed the phone that was within it. "Yes!" She whispered in triumph at the sight of the cellular device. With this device, she could contact her team… her family…
… Her Seth…
She smiled at those last two thoughts before starting the phone, making sure it still had power. She suppressed the urge to widen her smile when she saw the phone turn on.
Her ears perked up at the sound of footsteps originating from the lobby. She quickly placed the evidence box and pushed it away, to keep up the appearance that it was untouched. With her free hand, she placed the phone back in her back pocket while turning to the lobby.
Her eyes widened in shock when seeing a man in a red and grey suit with a cape, wielding a sharp scythe. From Seth's stories from his Earth-2 adventures, she pieced together that was Rupture.
WHOOSH
Zoom appeared, speeding into the lobby and stood before his henchman. "And?"
"He got away, but I'll find him." Rupture informed his leader.
"Later." Zoom ordered.
In frustration, Rupture countered. "He needs to pay for what he did to my brother!"
"And he will. Later, Rupture!" Zoom remained adamant in his decision.
"What do you want me to do?" Rupture asked.
"The police have gathered again." Zoom informed him. "They think I've spared their lives." Caitlin listened closely from her cuffed position to the desk. "Tonight… Show them they're wrong."
Rupture nodded, but before leaving he asked. "Those small heroes showed up before, keeping me from ending Vibe… What shall I do with them?"
"Kill them." Zoom ordered, sending a blizzard of chills down Caitlin's spine. Rupture nodded and walked away. The evil speedster turned his eyes to his captive and walked towards her. He pulled off his cowl. "You disapprove?"
"You said you would spare them." Caitlin stated.
"I need to teach them a lesson." Hunter crouched down before her.
"And my daughters?" Caitlin said, a fire of hate blazing inside of her.
"Well, your daughters… They need to stop standing up to me." Hunter casually replied. "Despite what you and Seth taught them… They need to learn how to stop fighting greater forces, like me."
"Is that why you change your voice?" Caitlin inquired. "So that you're a greater force? So that everyone will be afraid of you?"
Hunter was reminded of a moment from his time in the asylum when he was subjected to another round of vicious electroshock therapy. That one moment in his past, he called out that he wasn't a monster.
"As you once said…" Hunter faced her with pitch-black eyes. "I'm nothing but a monster." He said with a demonic voice.
"You might be a monster…" Caitlin said firmly but with eyes devoid of any fear. "But I'm not scared of you."
"Not yet." Zoom determinedly stated. "But you will be… Just like everyone else."
WHOOSH
The evil speedster sped away, leaving his captive alone once more. Assured she was alone, Caitlin pulled out the phone she found. Immediately she typed in a message to the team.
"Rupture Attack Jitters 2nite." She wanted to write more… But she had to write the important part…
So, her family could be ready.

(S.T.A.R. Labs)
Ruby walked through the corridors, still clad in her Destroyer suit with her mask in her hand and her hoodie pulled down. With her free hand she ran it through her bleached hair and exhaled in exhaust. "Gotta go save Mom."
"Rubs!"
The former assassin stopped, turning in her feet and saw her Aunt walking towards her. "Shouldn't you be in bed or something, Aunt?" She asked when seeing her Aunt walk slower than usual.
"I'm carrying two fetuses who're growing inside of me, kiddo, I'm not weak nor built for bed rest." The psychic reminded her. "What I'm concerned with is how you're so eager to jump into action, which is unlike you."
"I don't back down from a fight, and my Mom's life is on the line." Ruby stated with crossed arms.
Olivia peered through her niece's expression, analyzing her expression and examining it, instantly coming to a conclusion. "You're lying."
"How so?" Ruby questioned.
The psychic chuckled with a gesture to her face. "Normal people, untrained people, have tells when they're lying. Darting eyes, unusual gesticulating and improvising with details. But you know the common tells and you're covering them up, which I can see. You only do that when you're lying… That's your tell. So, what's going on with you? This about Rupture being back?"
Ruby had to give her aunt some credit. She wasn't an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. for nothing. She's a HYDRA assassin, but the experiences they have is like night and day. Her aunt's knowledge and field experience far surpasses by a great deal.
Exhaling her annoyance, knowing full well that she couldn't get out of this with a lie. She then confessed. "Last time… Last time I saw Rupture was on Earth-2… And I said some really awful things to Dad back then. Plus, I attacked him."
"Rupture's visit brought back some uncomfortable stuff, didn't it?" Olivia deduced. "Sorry."
"I was mean and horrible to Dad back then, when all he did was just protect us." Ruby rubbed her face. "I really hate that I was like that back then."
Olivia cupped her face, tilting it upwards to look into her eyes. "You were mean sure… That was back then. Right now, you're an incredible young woman, like your sisters. A young woman who's a hero, someone who chose to use their powers responsibly, uses the powers given to them to protect those who can't protect themselves. You're that kind of person now, Ruby Fury… Never forget that. you're someone that your parents, your entire family is proud of. Your past self is in the past now and forever, right now…. You're Ruby Fury, the Destroyer."
"… Thanks, Auntie." Ruby hugged her tightly. "It's good to have you here."
"You were feeling bad because you felt like you hadn't repaid what your Dad did for you, I know that, yeah. But you storming in to save your Mom… That's not the way you go about to repay your Dad, not that you ever needed to do that." Olivia pulled away and finalized. "Protect the police and protect the city… Protect your home… That's the best we do now… before we finally save your mother."
"Promise we're gonna save Mom?" Ruby asked for assurance.
"I swear to you, we're gonna save her." The mutant swore to her niece. "We're gonna save her…"
"Thanks."
Together Ruby and Olivia walked to the Cortex. They walked into the room and saw Frankie and Matt speaking together while Harry, Joe and Henry spoke with Jesse and Wally on the monitor.
"What's going on?" Ruby got her uncle and Frankie's attention.
"Not much." Frankie stated.
"Can we come out now?" Jesse asked for herself and Wally.
"NO!/NO!" Both Joe and Harry stated in unison.
"You guys going a little stir-crazy?" Matt asked.
"That's putting it lightly, Matt." Wally stated.
Before they could say anything else, Harry closed the feed to the Time Vault. Frankie looked between Joe, her uncle and aunt. "Do they… like have a bathroom in there?"
Henry frowned. "Do they?" He faced Joe and Harrison.
"I gave them a chamber pot." Harry sheepishly replied.
"Seriously?" Olivia doubted how sanitary that is.
The monitor to the right began chiming. "Something's blinking over here." Joe notified the others.
"Jarvis." Olivia called out to the AI, having him see what's happening.
"It's an incoming message, Mrs. Stark-Fury." Jarvis announced. "It would appear Mr. Ramon's brother's doppelganger, Rupture will attack the police's current base, CC Jitters, tonight."
"Where's its origin?" Harry asked the AI.
"From the Central City Police Department."
"Wait that means…" Ruby smiled in realization.
"That's Mom." Frankie formed a wide smile herself.
"Caitlin, you clever girl." Olivia smiled.
Iris and Barry joined them, walking into the Cortex. "What about Caitlin?" the reporter asked.
Joe smiled. "She sent us a message."
Matt equipped his Iron Knight armor, the nanites swarmed over his entire form and formed thrusters on his back. "Rupture's not finished with our city, he's gonna attack Jitters tonight."
"We got to move, Barry." The detective told his adoptive son.
Barry looked hesitant.
Henry then asked. "What are you gonna do, slugger?"
"Whatever you choose, Barry, you're not gonna go out in the field." Matt clarified that fact before Barry had any chance to think about his decision. "Unless you're The Flash, you're staying put, you'd be a liability out there. Me and the girls will handle Rupture. End of discussion."
"…" Barry nodded his agreement. "Having The Flash, being The Flash might be the best way to stop Zoom and all the metas he's sending over." Harry smiled at that. "But look, until we know for sure that setting off the accelerator will work, it's too risky. Not just for me. For the entire city. Countless others would be affected if the explosion is not contained."
Harry tried to convince him. "Yes, but Allen-"
"Stop, Wells." Barry stopped him. "Look, I'm sorry. I've made up my mind. Sorry." Harry didn't like that, Henry looked in slightly relieved and Joe looked conflicted. "We're gonna have to let Destroyer, Magenta and Iron Knight take care of this… Without The Flash."

Cisco stood in his workshop, working on the B.O.O.T. for the police to use. Matt was too busy with helping out at Jitters and set up things for the police force. But while working on the weapon, the engineer's brother walked into the workshop…
Holding a certain letter.
"What is this?" Dante got his brother's attention, making him see his letter to his family if he wasn't able to make it back from Earth-2. "You went to another Earth?"
Cisco snatched the letter out of his brother's fingers. "You weren't supposed to read that."
Dante countered. "It was on your desk. It was addressed to Mom and me. So, yeah, I read it."
The engineer closed the case with the B.O.O.T. pieces, making sure it was ready for assembling in the coffee shop. "Look, I got to go, okay? We'll talk about this later."
"No, man, we're gonna talk about this right now!" Dante affirmed, walking closer to his brother.
"Okay, let's talk about this now." Cisco snapped around to face his brother. "What did you want me to say? "What up, fam? I know you probably don't care, but I'm going off to another Earth for a hot sec. If I don't make it back in time for dinner, it probably didn't go so well.""
Forgoing the blunt joke, Dante asked his brother in concern. "Why did you even go in the first place?"
"Because my friends needed my help." Cisco stated.
"What kind of help?" Dante asked his brother, unsure and confused in regards how a mechanical engineer could actually help his friends on another Earth.
Now was as good a time as any for Cisco to spill the beans. "They needed me to vibe."
"Vibe?" Dante questioned. He recalled where he heard that name before. "That's what that lunatic called you, who attacked us. What aren't you telling me, Cisco?"
Since the questions began, Cisco looked away from his brother. But now… for the big revelation, he had to turn around and look into his eyes. "I have powers."
Laughing at that joke, Dante chuckled. "Powers?" But the look on his brother's face told him that it was no joke at all. "What, you're like a metahuman?"
After lightly nodding his head, viber took a seat in a nearby chair and continued. "I was affected when the accelerator exploded two years ago, and now I see things, vibes… or people." He gestured to his elder brother.
"Like visions?" Dante once again got a slight nod as a response. "So that's why you called me."
"Yeah." Cisco confirmed. "I had one of you, or at least I thought it was you, until your World of Warcraft doppelganger showed up."
A disturbing thought plagued Dante's thoughts. "You killed his brother?"
"No, I didn't kill his brother. Of course not." Cisco answered, distraught that his brother would even ask him that.
"Why wouldn't you tell me any of this?" Dante asked.
"Because you're right. It's just like you said." Cisco agreed with her brother's words at the bar. "We haven't been close in years and… and there's nothing we can do to change that." Dante regretted his words in this moment. "Look, I got to go." Cisco got up from his chair. "Just wait for me here, okay?"
He placed the cases on the trolley and rolled out of the workshop.

(Earth-2, Central City Docks)
Blood…
Marcus Bishop felt blood trailing down the side of his open mouth. His arms are too bruised and too hurt to even move to wipe it off. "Damn." He coughed, even that caused him pain.
His one and only cellmate in the metal cage, Tony Woodward, still in his metallic form, turned a swollen metal eye to the vibrational metahuman. "Thought you kicked the bucket already, Shakey."
"Up yours, pal." Marcus chuckled. "I'm living till I'm a hundred years old and can still outlive you."
"That's a bet… I'm willing to take." Tony continued to chuckle.
"Well, well, well…" They heard a distortive voice slowly say to get their attention. And they saw the bastard who took them hostage and took their precious equipment, which is meant to take back their city from Zoom's control, but is now in his hands.
A bald man with a thick brown beard with green eyes walked into their eyesight. His nine henchmen bearing thick Atlantean armor and equipped with either hydro-rifles or energy swords in their hands. But Mitch Romero's armor is thicker than the others, giving him a bulkier appearance with shark-like appearance.
His dark-blue armor stronger and bigger than that of his grunts, colorized with a denticle pattern. Metallic shark fins protrusions equipped on his shoulder plates. Even though they couldn't see them, they knew that the sound of intense whirring was due to the booster engines on the back of his calves and on his back. Two water tanks attached to his back, pipes connecting the tanks to the rest of the armor. Parts of his chest plate are akin to that of a shark's colors, equipped with white plates to mimic its white underbelly. Fins on the sides of his gauntlets sharp and strong.
Mitch smirked through the red visor on his helmet, a sharp dorsal fin on top of it. "Glad to see our houseguests are enjoying themselves." He clenched his hands, the fins on the back of his arms ejected, revealing a black nozzle with light emitting in it. Both metahumans watched water travel through the pipes and into the nozzles, causing the light to gain a static appearance.
"Should really thank you boys for the new swag, it really helps me and my boys out." Mitch tapped his chest plate and grabbed his collar with both hands. "Gotta say the new look suits me greatly. Best loot we've ever got. More than enough for us all…" He smirked. "More than enough to take the city from you meta freaks."
"We're not with Zoom." Shakedown growled in anger.
"Oh, I know that." Mitch stated. "But ain't changing a damn thing, you're all freaks… and now, thanks to you guys, we've finally leveled the playing field."
"We need that armor back!" Tony shouted in pain and in rage.
Mitch smiled. "Oh yeah? Try and take it, Metal Boy." He held his hands to the sides with a smug smile on his face that only enraged the captured metahumans even more.
But that smugness and air of pride around Mitch faded away when they heard the sound of glass shattering from afar in the storage building. Their leader snapped around, facing the direction of the shattering sound and his men raised their weapons instantly.
"What was that?!" A thug raised his sword.
"Who's there?!" Another thug asked with a raised pulse-rifle.
"Instead of asking and waiting for an answer like idiots, find out for yourselves!" Mitch shouted to the two thugs who nodded and rushed away to find the source of the shattering sound. "So hard to find good help these days… Rest of you check out the place, make sure we don't have any last-minute party crashers." The rest nodded and scattered, checking their surroundings per their boss's orders.
X
The two armored thugs rounded a corner, both raising their weapons.
"What you think it is? A rat? A bat? Maybe a monkey?" The first thug, Derek, asked the other thug.
"Better not be a monkey." Marcus stated with both hands on his sword. "I hate those hairy-ass apes, always throwing their shit, eating bananas and throwing their shit."
Nudging his fellow thug with his hydro-rifle, Derek told him. "You said that shit thing twice, dumbass."
"Worth it." Marcus turned around and looked down their path. They saw something shining at the end of the path, close to the wall and under the shining lamp. "What's that?" He pointed his sword at the shining object.
"Come." Derek held his rifle high and walked towards the shining object with his fellow thug. The two walked in silence, worried what they might find the end of their path…
When they finally came to it… They found it…
A… broken icicle waited for them…
"What? /What?" The two thugs shared a look of confusion at the ice element before their feet.
"Hello, boys." A sassy, cold, distortive voice got their attention, making them turn on their heels and saw Killer Frost there in front of them. Lashing out her right hand, she shot an ice blast at Marcus, hurling him into a wall.
Derek grew angry, swinging the barrel of his firearm for her head. "You damn-"
But the icy metahuman grabbed the barrel, icy mist emanating from her entire hand before ice crackly spread over the rifle. In almost an instant, the entire hydro pulse-rifle was frozen. With a mere twist of her hand, the firearm shattered like glass.
Derek held the pieces of his weapon in his hands with shock. "How?"
"Well, it's metal, it breaks like glass when exposed to cold." Killer Frost stated the obvious. "And the fact that it uses water didn't help." Forming an ice fist on her left hand, she punched the thug to the side and into a wall. Before he could regain his focus, the icy metahuman blasted another icy blast. This time she kept the blast going and froze the grunt to the wall. "That armor's a joke."
"Bitch." Marcus stood up with his right hand on his sword.
"Not wrong there." Killer Frost quipped uncaringly.
Marcus cried out loud in rage before charging for the metahuman with his sword raised over his head. Caitlin jumped backwards and dodged his first swing. When his second swing came…
An arrow enveloped with light and darkness shot past the icy metahuman, connecting with the thug's energy sword and the blade broke upon contact. Marcus watched his blade break and embedded into the floor. "The fuck-"
He didn't get a chance to finish his sentence when Killer Frost appeared behind him and punched a hole in his water tank, her hand remaining in the container and water sprouting out of the hole. The metahuman kept her hand in there, despite the water drenching her clothes, and projected an icy blast inside of it. Marcus struggled to move and felt his armor tighten with a cold sensation coming over him.
The next thing… His visor was turned white and he was as still as a statue.
Eclipse walked over to the other metahuman who pulled out her hand from the water tank. Examining the statue-like thug, she asked her mother's doppelganger. "What happened? What did you do to him?"
"Froze the water inside of his suit." Casually she pulled the nearest pipe out of the thug's armor. "It runs through his entire armor, like blood, and keeps the armor functioning."
Evelyn widened her eyes in realization. "So, without the water…"
"Yeah, he armor is nothing but a chunk of wearable Atlantean garbage." Caitlin-2 finished off the young metahuman's sentence.
"Nice detail… Didn't think you'd do so much about Atlantean armor, though." Evelyn stated her surprise. "I mean, Dad, Mom and Felicity said you were a bit of a slacker."
"Like I said, I listened." The icy metahuman quipped. "Thanks for the save before…"
"You're welcome." Evelyn smiled.
"Hey!" The metahumans saw another thug appear with a rifle, aiming it at the two of them. While water converted into ammo, the thug didn't see a series of tendrils slowly descend from over his head. "You're gonna regre-"
The tendrils stroke like serpents, wrapping around his form, his words coming out in muffled nonsense before he was pulled upwards. Seth pulled the thug up to the beams and kicked his rifle away. Retracting the tendrils to reform his right arm, he grabbed the armored thug's head and smashed it into the beam. The force of the blow knocked him out.
Seth smiled at that and placed the man on the beam. Placing his hand on the thug's armor, the elemental emanated a wave of ice over his unconscious form and froze him to the beam. Confident that he was frozen in place, he jumped off the beam and landed in a soundless crouch. "Three down, seven to go, including the boss."
"Slow progress." Caitlin-2 looked through the gaps in the shelves around them, seeing visors shifting left and right in search. "At least they're spread around."
"Maybe we should split up?" Evelyn suggested. Seth was about to protest that idea, but his daughter stopped him with her next words. "Dad, I can handle this. You, Mom, Uncle and Aunt trained me for this. Trust me… Please."
"… Fine…. Alright, Evie." Seth grabbed her by the shoulders. "But be careful… and use your darkness, it's gonna give you an advantage from high places and to move around in a wide area like this."
Evelyn nodded before disappearing in shadows. Seth inhaled sharply before turning to his full height. "You okay with handling three guys with me?" He asked Killer Frost
"Always wanted a date with you." She smirked. "Fine, and after that, you can help your kid out if she needs it."
Seth nodded and shot a tendril upwards, latching onto the ceiling. The icy metahuman walked closer to his side and he wrapped an arm around her. Though it was a bit too much for her to begin nuzzling into his neck.
Pulling on the tendril, he yanked them both into the air and onto the ceiling.
X
Eclipse walked carefully and slowly across the beam, looking down on the three thugs under her. She was skillfully walking across the steel beam. All those years with parkour and gymnastics classes really paid off. She might just make it as an assassin if hero-ing doesn't pan out…
"Yeah, gonna leave that one for the crazier sister." Evelyn thought that was a job more suited for Ruby than her.
"You guys find anything?" She heard a grunt under her ask the other two henchmen, both shaking their heads. The first one has a sword whilst the others are equipped with pulse-rifles. "Spread out, find anything that could get in the boss's way."
They nodded again and walked away. The moment they turned their back to the first grunt, Evelyn made sure she was directly above him. Exhaling sharply and slowly, her markings formed on her forehead and the crescent moon formed under her right eye. Her coat flapped in the air, before darkness emanated from her body in a manner akin to a smokescreen.
The darkness spiraled into tentacles. Concentrating as best as she could, she slowly lowered the darkness downwards, closing in on the armored thug. While she commanded her darkness to hover over the first thug, her eyes were solely focused on the other two thugs.
She had to make sure they wouldn't see her darkness capture their friend.
And now… she had.
The darkness ensnared the armored henchman, wrapping around his helmet and tightened its hold on his mask. Another tendril wrapped around his body and his weapon before, together with the first tendril, pulled the man up to her level.
Spinning around, Eclipse kicked the man's face repeatedly before slamming her bow into his face and knocked him out. Each strike didn't draw the other thugs' attention, thankfully. Placing the thug on the beam, she pulled out a net arrow and slammed onto the thug's body, the net ejecting and wrapping around his body.
"Nap time." She smirked before turning to the other thugs who began examining the shelves around them. "Laziness." Eclipse inhaled to focus herself before disappearing in a shroud of shadows.
Reappearing in the air, above one of the thugs, Evelyn held a sword with both hands and cut his water tank. "What the-?!" He shouted when he felt his visor turn black.
"Hey!" The other one saw Eclipse and aimed his firearm at her. But she disappeared in a veil of darkness before he could open fire. While searching for the young metahuman again, she appeared behind him and slashed open his water tank, too. Water sprouted out of the hole she made and spilled all over the floor. The thug faced her. "Damn you!" He aimed his rifle at her…
And pulled the trigger.
But instead of seeing a plasma bolt shooting out of the barrel which he expected, nothing came out of it. He pulled the trigger repeatedly and got the same exact result. "What the fuck?"
"Wow, those things really don't work without water." Eclipse mused out loud before reeling back a hand, light formed into an orb over her palm. She hurled the orb into his body, blinding him and shooting him off the ground and into a shelf.
Using the momentum from her throw, she performed a spin and pulled out two arrows. Facing the other thug, she pulled back her bowstring before shooting the arrows. Both arrowheads exploded and ejected a wide net over his form, tethering him to the shelf.
"Three down… Three to go." Inwardly Evelyn couldn't help but feel smug, and she knew her sisters would be so jealous when they heard of this adventure and her incredible takedowns.
X
"You guys really think there's someone else in here?" The sword-wielding thug asked his fellow thugs, both of whom are wielding swords.
"Hell, if I know, but I ain't telling the boss we're returning without finding squat." One of them replied.
"But if we do find someone in here…" The last thug swung his sword threateningly. "I'm gonna cut them into cubes."
Their conversation ended quickly when they heard the sound of a tongue clicking the roof of a mouth disapprovingly and disappointingly. Snapping in the direction of the clicking tongue, they were face to face with Killer Frost. "Boys and their big sticks… So primitive."
"What are you doing here?" The first thug said, aiming his sword at her. His fellow thugs turned their blades at the icy metahuman.
"On a date." Killer Frost saw the elemental land on the ground behind the three thugs, his large form easily towering over the armored henchmen. "And he really, really doesn't like it when people point guns at his girlfriend."
"Not our girlfriend." Venom clarified before he tore off the tanks of two thugs, tossing them to the side. The elemental swung his crystal sword, but it collided with the third thug's energy sword, powered by the water flowing into it. "At least it's gonna be a challenge."
"Bring it!" The thug said.
Killer Frost rushed forward, grasping one of the thug's helmets and sent a cracking wave of frost over his mask. The ice spread over the rest of his armor. She watched him try to struggle out of his armor, but he failed to get out.
Releasing her hold on his armor, she reeled back and saw the other thug swinging his sword. Stopping she clenched her hand and ice crackly formed into a sword, which she swung to meet his deenergized sword. Forming another sword in her free hand, she swung the second blade after him. With both hands on his sword, he failed to block the secondary sword and felt it pierce into his side.
"Aww… Little baby don't like it? Let me help you with that." She yanked the sword out of his body, making him groan in pain. She kicked him into a shelf and pierced his shoulders with both swords. "Cool down, hotshot." She thrusted out her hands, blasting him with conjoined ice blasts.
The thug struggled to fight off the ice attack, but his struggles came to an end when the ice was too much for him to handle and he was frozen in place. "Cool." She sighed, exhaling icy mist.
Venom continued to clash swords with the last remaining thug. But that soon came to an end when Seth raised an adamantium knee into the armored thug's chest, making him drop his sword and crack his chest plate in the process.
The mutant slammed the side of his sword into his body, knocking him down on the ground. Before he could get back up, he turned his entire right leg into adamantium, and slammed it down on his chest, completely shattering his chest plate. Lightning sparked over his appendage, shocking the thug till he was knocked out.
Seth removed his foot from the thug. The moment he did so, Caitlin-2 blasted the thug with an ice blast.
"Thanks." Venom thanked the icy metahuman.
Killer Frost blew him a kiss. "You know, we make a good team."
"Still spoken for." The nanite mutant stated again. "We have to find Evelyn." The icy metahuman nodded her agreement, although she knew the young metahuman was more than capable of handling herself.
"Who's out there?!"
They heard Mitch Romero called out in anger.
X
"I know you're out there!" Mitch screamed, holding out his arms. "Come on out and say hello!" He sent a look to his captives. "If not, I'm gonna be forced to make a mess in my new cells with your friends."
"No, you're not!" Venom declared as he dropped down on the ground and slowly walked towards the armored man.
Mitch turned around and saw the elemental, shock on his face at the sight of the Demon King. "Well, well… The king has returned."
Tony looked shocked. "Seth…" He whispered.
"Why is he here?" Marcus asked.
"Leave my friends alone." Venom stated determinedly. He held up his crystal sword, holding it in one hand. "Or you're gonna regret it."
"See that's the problem with this city." Venom was confused by Mitch's words while pointing his finger at him. "Metahumans… Freaks with powers like you… roaming our great city and taking it for your own, just because you can. I remember the good old days… where this city belongs to those who were feared."
"Those who are feared… are powerless before those who are fearless." Venom countered, lightning sparking over his skeletal extensions and crimson red fire igniting over his skull extension's fangs. "Give us that armor… Now!"
"Gonna have to peel it off my dead body, pal." Mitch Romero stated confidently.
Seth and Venom… They could work with that.
The elemental unleashed a roar before charging like a predatory animal. Mitch clenched his right fist; the fin ejected and revealed the laser barrel. Water traveled through the pipes and into the device before shooting a powerful plasma laser.
Seth jumped into the air, tendrils shooting out of the back of his hands, latching onto the ceiling and dodged the laser attack. Mitch continued the attack and the mutant saw it melt through a metal shelf with ease.
"Holy crap. What did Mera make? And was it a really good idea to ship this?" Seth heard his partner ask.
"Hell, if I know, man! Atlanteans are strange." The host answered while dodging another array of laser beams. Leaping off the ceiling, the mutant reeled back an adamantium arm with lightning crackling over it. Landing on the ground, he thrusted his fist.
But surprise came when the armored arms dealer blocked the fist with both hands. Mitch smirked, impressed by his own action, that he was able to handle one of Venom's attacks. "Expected more than that!" He released the demon's hand before punching him in the face.
Water converted into energy and into the gauntlets, making the strike to the mutant's face powerful enough to hurl him to the ground. Digging his hands into the ground, Venom stopped himself from going further and flipped back onto his feet.
Charging for Mitch again, Seth formed ice spikes on his left hand. He launched his fist, connecting with the arms dealer's visor, cracking the mask. Growling his annoyance and anger, Mitch clenched both fists and launched lasers in the mutant's stomach. The two laser beams shot him off his feet and continued to blast him, blasting him into a wall.
"Venom!" Marcus screamed in fear at that sight.
Mitch stopped shooting and smirked. His two laser beams practically embedded the elemental deep into the wall because he couldn't see him anymore. He was so deep into the wall. "And the Demon King finally falls." Mitch triumphantly shouted.
"Think again!" Venom's booming words barely reached the armored dealer when his two arms stretched out like snakes, latching onto his shoulders with ice-covered claws. Too shocked by the claws on his armor, he was unable to see the elemental slingshot him out of the hole and into him like a cannonball.
The strike to his body sent Mitch rolling on the ground. But he returned to his full height and aimed both his arms at the demon who picked up his sword again. "You're going down, Venom."
Showing a toothy grin, the mutant inquired cheekily. "Alright… But what about my partners?"
"Partners?" Mitch turned confused. He got his answer when a series of arrows pierced the water tanks on his back. "Argh!" He screamed in pain. His visor began shifting between colors as it struggled to find an energy source. "The hell?"
"Language, asshat!" Eclipse shouted while pulling back three more arrows.
Killer Frost chuckled distortedly. "You really shouldn't steal, Mitchy boy."
Mitch looked confused at that voice and saw her. "Frost? What the hell? Thought you were with Zoom."
"I came, I saw, I joined, I got bored of it all." Caitlin-2 shrugged. "Now…" She looked between Eclipse and Venom. "Think it's time for a career change."
"Oh yeah." The boosters on the back of his calves and on his back spun. "Take out the tank all you want, doesn't mean this armor's useless." He jumped forward, shooting him off the ground with his boosters propelling him forward. He thrusted his first, aiming for the icy metahuman.
But Evelyn jumped to her side and grabbed her mother's doppelganger's hand. Shadows slithered out of her body and wrapped around them. Thanks to Eclipse's powers, she teleported the two of them out of the way before his attack connected with the icy metahuman.
"Wow!" Killer Frost gasped when she and the younger metahuman reappeared out of the shadows.
Eclipse let go of the other metahuman, pulling out an arrow and pulled it back on the bowstring. Taking aim, she locked her eyes onto the booster on the arms dealer's right calf. Releasing her arrow, she watched it travel through the air before it pierced into the booster.
Mitch fell to the ground, stumbling like a madman on narcotics.
"He lost his balance." The icy metahuman said in shock.
"… Without those boosters, he's useless." Evelyn realized.
"Then we take out the last two." Killer Frost's fingers released cold icy mist before forming long icicles on each of her fingertips. Mitch turned around and faced the two metahumans with a scowl on his face. The last propellers on his back flared, launching him towards them again. While Evelyn disappeared in the shadows, the icy metahuman spun around, maneuvering past the armored man.
From his side of the storage building, Venom watched Killer Frost hurl her ice blades into his last calf booster engine. The engine itself emitting smoke and falling off of his armored leg. Mitch fell to the ground in anger and in pain.
Venom smiled and jumped into the air. Igniting flames and lightning over his legs, the mutant latched both hands and anchored them to the ground around Mitch. Pulling himself down, the elemental slammed both of his feet down on the arms dealer's back.
The two metahumans watched the attack of Mitch's back shatter the last booster engine into pieces, sending them flying all around the place. Before Mitch could get back up Venom punched the back of his head with an adamantium fist. The blow to his head knocked him out instantly.
"Finally." The mutant said.
"Dad, you okay? You looked pretty hurt when Romero attacked you with those lasers." Evelyn asked her father in concern after pulling down her black and white eye mask.
"We're fine, honey." Seth rubbed the top of her head with the back of his finger.
"As much as I love that parental love and all…" Killer Frost got their attention, gesturing to the hurt captives. "But don't we have to get these two wounded birds out of there and retrieve the tech and weapons?"
The father and daughter nodded their agreement, especially when they saw Tony and Marcus look impatiently at the other powered individuals.

(Earth-1, CC Jitters)
It was time…
Joe got a look of confirmation from his captain who's with him behind the counter. Raising the walkie talkie to his mouth, he asked. "Magenta, Destroyer, you two all set?" He knew they were in the coffee shop, looking down at the entrance from different vantage points.
"Ready." Destroyer confirmed.
"You can count on us, detective." Magenta added from the ceiling.
"Good…" Joe knew that both Cisco and Barry were outside of the coffee shop, waiting inside of a S.T.A.R. Labs issue tech van. They thought they could provide backup, but he was unsure if that were possible right now. "Knight, you ready?"
"Ready for action, Detective." Iron Knight announced from the opposite building rooftop.
"Good… Here he comes." The detective declared with a shift of his eyes to the entrance doors, where Rupture appeared.
SHATTER
The glass doors shattered the moment Rupture's plasma-enveloped scythe slammed into the reflective surface. Glowing glass shards scattered all around the lobby after the weapon smashed into the glass. The scythe-wielder walked through the shattered door, his eyes roaming the coffee shop in search.
"Now, where has everybody gone?" He asked out loud, knowing that somebody is in here.
Making use of a technique she heard from her father, Magenta placed a tendril on the ceiling before rappelling down upside-down. She was directly above the evil metahuman now… and she wasn't gonna let him go free.
Stretching out a hand, she elongated her claws till they were talon-sharp before swinging them down on the evil metahuman, pushing him down with a grunt.
Rupture snapped around, seeing the young magnekinetic appear drop down on the ground. "Magenta? You again?"
"She's not alone!" Destroyer shouted and hurled her Chakram blade after him. Hearing her voice, the evil metahuman blocked the blade with his scythe, sending it back to the former assassin. Ruby quickly snatched her blade again. "You're not gonna hurt anyone."
"The two of you really?" Rupture asked in disappointment.
"Trust us, pal. We're more than enough for you." Magenta growled, the metal around her shaking violently.
"And we're gonna defeat you…" Destroyer's hands clenched, shaking the entire foundation with the force of an earthquake. "Here and now!"
"Bring it on, little girls." Dante-2 challengingly spun his scythe. "The two of you will be a nice warmup." Plasmatic energy cloaked his weapon. Twirling his weapon over his head, he sent small red plasma bolts around the coffee shop. Glasses, windows, lamps, stools, chairs and tables were either destroyed or broken into pieces by the array of plasma blasts.
Magenta and Destroyer dodged the attacks with all the skills they have. Tendrils pulled Frankie out of the way when the bolts came her way. With her magnekinetic powers, she used scraped metal to block any attacks that came too close to her. Using her vibranium blade, Ruby swung her weapon left and right to redirect the small bolts away. Whilst her gravitational powers couldn't work on the red energy, it did work on her own body, allowing her to float away from incoming blasts.
Dodging pieces of flying glass shards, Joe brought his walkie talkie closer to his mouth. "Knight, don't you need to help them?!" He shouted over the destruction of the small objects around them.
"I'm not." Joe was shocked by that instant answer. "I'm waiting for this guy's asshole."
"You think Zoom's coming?" The detective stated in shock.
Iron Knight explained. "Wouldn't be surprised if that happened. He's come most times his henchmen have appeared."
"Let's hope you're wrong." Joe muttered to the nanite mutant.
Halting his attack, Rupture looked at the two girls who stood on opposite sides of him. "Come on, little girls! That all you got?!"
Gravitational energy converted into her blade before Ruby propelled herself off the ground. Rupture faced her and swung his scythe, projecting another wave of plasmatic blasts. Zigzagging to dodge each blast the former assassin reeled back her blade. She thrusted it, her blade colliding with his scythe that he used as a shield, the shaft cracking upon impact.
Forming two battle axes, Magenta attacked the evil metahuman from behind. He screamed in pain and released his hold on his scythe. Before he could pick it up, Destroyer pushed the weapon into her hand with her powers.
Without his scythe now, Magenta let loose and wrapped tendrils around Rupture's entire form. He tried to struggle out of them, but his efforts to escape only made the tendrils tighten around his form, till the point he felt his bones almost crack.
With all of her strength now, Magenta lifted Rupture into the air before slamming him into the floor. Swinging her arm up and down repeatedly, she jackhammered the evil metahuman into the ground. Frankie didn't show any mercy whatsoever, continuing to hammer the metahuman into the floor.
Destroyer and the policemen in hiding watched in shock as the ruthless beating continued. They frowned at the same time when seeing the young demon slam his form into the wall causing it to crack and leave a fissure-like crater on it, the television falling off due to the immense and viscous impact.
Magenta continued whacking the plasma metahuman around like a ragdoll. Finally coming to a stop, due to exhaustion, she released her tendrils from his body and let him fall down. She saw him pant in pain and hold his body. His mask lenses are cracked and almost threatening to fall out of the lens sockets.
Shifting her head around, making eye contact with the policemen and her sister, the magnekinetic jokes. "Clean up on aisle four!" She alluded to the destruction she caused in the coffee shop.
Ruby resisted the urge to slap herself in the face at her sister's joke. "God, your jokes are horrible!" She took the scythe and broke it in two.
While speaking, the policemen got out of hiding and circled around the downed metahuman. They pulled their triggers, shooting stun bullets at him. The electricity in them stunned him. Joe forced him up to his knees and tore off his mask. "Get up." He demanded of the evil metahuman. "Are we the guys you were looking for?" He mocked him.
The captain turned around, facing the two young heroes. "Thanks, you two saved us here."
"Don't worry, Captain." Magenta smiled.
"Don't make it a habit." Destroyer added with a smirk behind her mask.
David didn't know how to feel about their words, well at least Ruby's words. Instead of focusing on that, he turned his head to the criminal. "Hope you like being alone, because you won't be talking to anyone at Iron Heights." He placed the handcuffs on Rupture's hands.
"Cisco, we got him. All good." Joe spoke to the engineer through the walkie talkie. He placed it back on the table.
"Get back!" David shouted at the cameraman who showed up, filming the capture of Rupture. "Get that camera back." He ordered his officers.
The footage would be shown on all televisions with the channel turned on.

(CCPD)
"Horror Unfolds at CC Jitters." Caitlin read the headline on the news channel.
"Breaking news coming out of Jitters coffee shop." The reporter stated and the doctor listened closely, knowing her team, and more importantly, her daughters joined the fight. "CCPN has learned that a metahuman was just apprehended after an altercation with the two young heroes, Magenta and Destroyer."
She smiled happily at that. Her daughters are still fighting proudly as always… She just wished she were there with them.
And she would be… She knew that.
"You told them Rupture was coming." Caitlin felt a cold tingle run down her spine at that surprising voice. She snapped around and, much to her fears, she found Hunter glaring at her. "How? How?"
Caitlin didn't answer, looking away from his eyes.
But the evil speedster looked around her, taking notice of the open evidence boxes around her. "Oh, you… Are smart, aren't you? You betrayed me!"
"You said you would spare them." Caitlin countered.
"I guess…" Hunter inhaled sharply, taking his cowl in his hands. "Now we're even." He pulled his cowl over his head.
"Jay no!" Caitlin hoped he could stop him by calling out to whatever shred of humanity he had left.
"My name… is Zoom." He growled.
WHOOSH
He sped away, blowing air into the precinct. "No!" She shouted into the empty precinct. In an instant, she snapped her eyes to the television.
Horror hit her with the force of a catastrophic meteor strike when she saw Zoom speed into the coffee shop, staring off with the. "Oh my God!" She saw her daughters ready themselves with weapons. "No!" Caitlin renewed her efforts to try and escape from the cuffs.

(CC Jitters)
Forgoing the array of firearms aimed at him, even the blades from the two young heroes, Zoom pointed a finger at the cameraman. "Make sure you get this."
"Fuck…" Ruby shivered for the first time tonight.
"Grrr…" Magenta growled, shaking the entire coffee shop with her powers.
Zoom inhaled sharply, lightning intensely crackling over his form. "Everybody move!" Joe shouted….
But time slowed to a crawl…
And Zoom ran…
WHOOSH
He ran between the various people and snapped the necks of all officers, except for Joe, his captain, and the single cameraman. When time returned to normal… each one of them fell to the ground, guns and the singular camera falling to the floor.
Ruby and Frankie checked over their forms, worried that they might have been hurt too. But thankfully, and weirdly, they were without any damage whatsoever.
Zoom sped into the two girls, tackling them into a table before standing in front of David, his hand wrapped around his throat tightly, causing the captain to gag and try to push him away. "I told you what would happen if you disobeyed me."
"Hey, stop!" Barry ran into the coffee shop. "Stop! God…" He took notice of the carnage. "You've made your point."
"Not quite yet." Zoom told the man he stole his Speed Force from. Throwing the captain away, the evil speedster drove his claws into Rupture's stomach. Dante-2 barely had time to gag or croak before Zoom slammed his body down on the cashier counter.
While hearing his useless henchman choke in pain, Zoom bluntly stated. "You're an even bigger disappointment than your brother." He pulled his claws out of his body, and Dante's head tilted back as his soul left its meat suit.
The evil speedster picked up the camera, aiming it at himself and announcing. "Central City…You know why you haven't seen The Flash anymore? Why these heroes…" He gestured to the downed Magenta and Destroyer. "Keep fighting for this city? To give you hope. But there is no more hope, there is no more Flash, Venom is not here now, and there's no one left… Strong enough to protect your city… from me."
Zoom threw the camera away. He faced the captain, speeding to him and grabbed him by his throat and lifted him up. "Tell the rest of your force, Captain, that their policing days are over." He ordered him. Releasing him, he sped to Frankie and grabbed her by the throat, snapping her awake.
"Magenta!" Destroyer shouted and got up from the ground.
Pointing a finger at the gravity manipulator, Zoom turned his finger to the young metahuman. "You two are only alive because of Caitlin… Who betrayed me just now…" Lightning cloaked over his hand, raising it high up before Frankie's fear-struck eyes. "Perhaps it's time she learns the consequences of her actions…"
Before either of the young girls could react, Zoom's ears perked up at the sound of flaring jet engines and time slowed to a crawl. The evil speedster turned his eyes to the side and was met with a large power mallet. Time returned to normal and he was hit in the face by the mallet, launching him into the air and rolling through the back entrance.
Iron Knight grabbed his niece and placed her on the floor. "You okay?" Frankie nodded. "Good." Matt clenched his fists in anger. "You're not touching anyone in this city, Zoom!"
Zoom sped back into the room. "Enter the Iron Knight."
Scanning the environment around him with Jarvis' help, Matt quickly realized he couldn't stay here and fight the evil speedster. "Try to catch up, Zoom!" The nanite mutant's thrusters propelled him off the ground and flew into the air, flying out of the coffee shop.
Zoom growled and sped after him.
X
Matt flew out of the coffee shop and threw a glance backwards, seeing the evil speedster quickly run after him and gaining on him. "Come and get me, Zoom."
"Matty, what are you doing? You can't outrun a speedster like Zoom." He heard his wife tell him through his comms. "Get out of there!"
"I can't outrun him, sure…." Nanites swarmed over his feet. "But I can go places he can't go." For an extra boost, the nanite mutant combined his feet together to form a bigger thruster. Four wings formed on his back with their own thrusters. Together with his foot thruster, he increased his momentum, propelling him further.
Zoom continued to chase after the nanite mutant, and despite the increased momentum, he still closed in on him. Matt changed tactics and flew directly up. The greater momentum propelled him higher up into the air and the evil speedster continued chasing him, running up the side of a tall building.
But Matt anticipated this and converted more energy to his thrusters, propelling him even higher into the air. He quickly rose higher into the air, surpassing the height of the building and looked down to see Zoom continuing to chase him.
Via his HUD screen, he locked onto the evil speedster. Panels slid down on his shoulders and released an array of small missiles after him. Zoom saw the missiles coming for him and ran across the rooftop, jumping onto another rooftop to dodge the missiles. They exploded on the ground.
Continuing to dodge the attacks, Zoom came to a stop when he felt something pierce into his thigh. The speedster tripped, falling to the ground. Matt pulled the grappling hook and swung him into a rooftop entrance.
Matt ejected four floating additional cannons from his back while forming his arms into icon cannons. Each of them aimed at the evil metahuman while charging, before projecting a total of six shots. The six shots converged into a single point, Zoom, blasting him with a powerful beam of repulsor energy. Watching his attack, the mutant saw his repulsor beam almost melt through the rooftop.
"Sir, stop. There are no tachyon particles close by." The AI explained.
Halting his attack after that announcement, Matt saw that Zoom was nowhere to be found. "Damn cockroach phased out of here, didn't he?" He deduced.
Jarvis replied. "Signs point to that, yes, sir."
"Let's check on the others." Matt said, it was a waste of time going after Zoom now.

(Earth-2, Felicity's Base)
"Keep the ice pack pressed against your eye, Tony. It's gonna help reduce your swelling." Seth told the metahuman as he gently placed an ice pack over his eye.
"Thanks, Doc." Tony chuckled in pain. "Ow!" He stopped chuckling when he felt the pain intensify, forcing him to hold his stomach. "Laughing hurts, noted."
"Yeah, could have told you that buddy." Seth said with a brief chuckle.
After getting Tony and Marcus out of the cells back at Central City Docks, they retrieved the weapons and froze the thugs and Mitch Romero to a wall. When they got back, Seth made sure to call Floyd Lawton, freshly discharged from the hospital, and told him of the events at the docks. After that conversation, the mutant began treating the two injured metahumans in one of the spare rooms, all the while Felicity was watching closely behind him.
The technopath turned her eyes to Marcus, snoring loudly in his sleep. "Is Marcus okay? Before you even dropped him off in the bed, he was asleep."
"It's normal when overusing your powers like they have." The mutant gestured to the two. "Surprisingly enough, these two have used their powers to fight off some of the pain. Respect." Tony smiled with a thumbs up. "But they're both gonna be okay, Felicity, don't worry."
"Thanks to you, your daughter and Caitlin, they're okay, and we got our weapons back." Felicity smiled appreciatively. "Thanks, Seth."
"All in a day's work." The mutant gave a mock salute. Looking around in search, he asked the technopath. "Where's Evie and Caitlin?"
"Both in my office… with Kendra." Felicity nervously added in the end.
"Sounds like a hellmouth." Felicity agreed with his words. "Ready to enter it?" She nodded sheepishly to Seth.
X
(Felicity's Office)
Evelyn gulped in fear and in nervousness while looking between the two powered women who're staring at each other intently. She felt it appropriate to keep her bow and her arrows ready, in fear of the two fighting and in fear of her own protection.
Kendra Munoz-Saunders glared angrily at the metahuman in front of her, her right hand holding her mace tightly, her left hand holding onto a firearm and her wings fully extended. Regardless of the fact that this metahuman is a former friend of Felicity's or that she helped retrieve the weapons and tech from Mera tonight, Caitlin Snow is still the cruel, sadistic and ruthless metahuman who worked as Zoom's enforcer and took pleasure in terrorizing Central City without a shred of remorse.
And more than that… This metahuman joked about the death of her boyfriend, Carter Hall, who died at the hands of her evil boss, Zoom. She couldn't, nay… she wouldn't just forgive her for that.
Killer Frost wasn't too keen on seeing Hawkgirl again, if her icicle blades are any indication, not after her attempt to blow her, Ronnie and Black Siren sky high with a belt of grenades in one of her favorite bars… Although angry with her attempt to kill her, Caitlin would have been happy if it had ended with Laurel dying. No one would miss that screaming banshee.
But the flying poultry girl could have killed her pretty easily with those grenades if Seth hadn't saved her. And now was as good as time as any for some good old-fashion revenge.
Extending the icicle blades on her fingertips to greater lengths, Killer Frost sniped at the flyer. "What's wrong, Birdbrain? You forget your chicken eggs someplace?"
"Keep talking like that, and Evelyn's gonna have to teleport out of here to get a bucket for when I'm done with you." Kendra countered as she cocked her firearm.
"Really? Think the little girl would love to see a real chicken be slaughtered. Never too late to learn something new, after all." Caitlin stated.
Evelyn shook her head. "Please leave me out of this."
Caitlin mock pouted. "Why's that, Evelyn?"
"Please leave my daughter out of this squabble." The mutant announced as he and the technopath entered the office. The three turned their eyes to them, but none of them lowered their weapons. Seth looked to Kendra. "Long time no see, Kendra."
"Long time, Seth. Good to see you again. Your daughter, too. Glad you adopted her and Ruby. Why is she here?" Kendra rapidly asked, finishing off with her mace pointing at the icy metahuman.
"Kendra, please." Felicity stepped in front of the flyer. "I know she's not your favorite person in the city, but Caitlin helped us out with this mission. Thanks to her, we got our weapons back and Tony and Marcus are safe, not to mention we destroyed Mitch's operation and brought him to justice." She gestured to the Killer Frost. "Thanks to her."
"Yeah, all should revere me and only me." Caitlin arrogantly said.
"Not helping, Cait." Felicity commented on her friend's unnecessary and unhelpful comment. "Caitlin's on our side now… and she wants to help fight Zoom."
"I know she's your friend and all, Felicity, but you honestly think she's gonna help us? Why now after all this time?" Kendra remained skeptical.
"Because she lost the love of her life…" Felicity deadpanned, Kendra lowered her weapons with shock on her face. "Think you'd understand that a little about that, right?"
Kendra holstered her firearm, which shocked the icy metahuman and the technopath. The flyer looked past her friend and made eye contact with Killer Frost. "…Sorry to hear about that… About Deathstorm."
"Thanks." Killer Frost broke off the icicles on her fingers, watching them shatter on the floor.
"Hey!" Felicity reprimanded her old friend with a gesture to the icicles. "I'm the one who has to clean that up, you know."
Killer Frost smirked. Evelyn placed her arrows back in her quiver before turning to her father. "Glad that's cleared up… Because that was uncomfortable."
"You were in Zoom's prison on a cliff, and this was uncomfortable?" Kendra asked in shock.
Seth chuckled. "That's my daughter all right…" Realizing what his words meant, he waved his daughter over. "Evie, come with me. Gotta talk with you for a bit."
"Okay, Dad." Evelyn answered.
The mutant walked towards the exit and held the door open for his daughter before following her, leaving the other women by themselves.
Closing the door behind him, Seth clapped his hands to focus himself. "What do you need focus for? Just speak from the heart… Usually works for you."
"You've been silent all this time… and now you're pitching in?"
"What could I say before? Should I have interrupted when you were flirting with your mate's doppelganger?" His "other" inquired.
"Wasn't flirting!" Seth stated.
"Dad?" Evelyn got his attention. "Are you talking with Venom again?"
Seth raised an eyebrow. "How'd you know?"
"You have a look." Evelyn giggled. "But what's this about? Our next move or something?"
"No, it's about our last move, actually." He inhaled deeply before saying. "I wanna say… I'm proud of how you acted tonight, honey." Evelyn looked speechless like she struggled to find the words. Her father continued, speaking proudly with each word coming out. "You… You were incredible out there. You showed a level of control, a level head, strategic thinking… At your age, I wasn't even able to do any of that myself. You, your sisters… You three are so much better than me, and it is amazing. And I'm sorry if I didn't seem like I didn't trust you back out there."
"Dad, I know you trust me." Evelyn assured her father. "I know that. But… Seeing me out here in this world, where I was… "hunted and shunned for a heinous crime I didn't commit."" Seth widened at his own words coming out of his daughter's mouth. "Yeah, I heard that."
"I was so worried that being back here would force some old and horrible memories up again, which is the last thing I'd want for you. I mean… This city has been awful to you, honey." The mutant told her.
Evelyn smiled. "Wanna know who hasn't been awful to me? Uncle Chyre… Barry and Iris from this world… Jesse… My birth parents… Ruby… You… Bad things happen, Dad, it's part of life itself, it's unpredictable. But sometimes those bad things happen for a good reason… And I got to meet you and Mom and my sisters after all. Meeting all of you… is probably the best reason of all."
"Glad to hear, kiddo." Seth hugged his daughter tightly. "Love you, Evelyn."
"Love you too, Dad." Evelyn reciprocated the hug her father started.
The day… The day on Earth-1 when the Singularity appeared over Central City and her father decided to jump into it, trying to destroy it with his powers to amplify the atomic explosion from Firestorm… Normally that news would have saddened her, but it was because of his action that day that Seth was hurled into Earth-2…
And she was happy that her world, her city… that she learned of Venom. She got an amazing family out of that event.
She loves them.
"Thanks for getting me out of Zoom's lair, Dad." Evelyn said after pulling out of the hug and wiping away tears.
"I should be the one thanking my lucky stars for ending up there, otherwise I wouldn't have met you and your sister, after all." Seth kissed her forehead.
"You two." Killer Frost got their attention when she opened the door into the hallway. "Get in here, Smoak's got something for us." Evelyn nodded and walked past her and into the office. Seth was about to do the same, but the icy metahuman stopped him with a hand to his chest. "Nice speech you gave your daughter there."
"Why am I not surprised you'd listen in on my important conversation with my daughter?" Seth stated his thoughts.
"Cause you know me too well." Caitlin-2 smiled while rubbing his chest with a finger. "That Caity of yours on Earth-1… She's a lucky girl."
"Thanks… But I'm the lucky one, because I got to meet her." Seth admitted with a smile. He walked into the office with the icy metahuman. Looking at the technopath who placed her phone on the desk, the mutant saw her face wearing a wide smile. "Something good happened, Felicity?"
"Definitely, yeah." Eye Sight bit her lower lip excitedly. "My friends just replied from their missions, they're on the way back with their tech."
"Why are you so happy?" Evelyn gestured to her wide smile.
Felicity's smile somehow widened, much to the others' surprise and creeped them out. "I just discussed it with them, and we all agreed that when Tony and Marcus are okay… We're gonna help your Earth fight off Zoom, Seth."
"Seriously?" Seth asked in shock.
"You've done so much for our Earth already… Time to return the favor. You tell us when… we're gonna be there." Felicity smiled.
"Me and Evie have to go soon, but I have to make sure Tony and Marcus are okay. After that, we're gone to Earth-1 again." Seth stated his plan. "And when the time comes, I'll show up on your doorstep and ask for your help."
"You'll get it." Felicity smirked.
This time, with all of their friends… they'd defeat Zoom and rid the multiverse of this evil once and for all.

(Earth-1, S.T.A.R. Labs)
Standing in the Cortex, everyone looked in defeat. Matt took off his arc reactor and placed it on the table. Frankie hugged him tightly when he released his reactor. "Thanks for saving me out there, Uncle Matt." She shakily expressed her gratitude.
"Don't mention it, Frankie. We're family, we save each other." Matt told his niece while hugging her.
"We were useless out there." Ruby said with regret plastered on her face, her fists clenching in self-hate. "We couldn't save any of those officers."
Olivia walked to her niece and wrapped an arm around her. Pulling her close into a one-armed hug, she said. "That's the downside of this job, honey. There's always gonna be those you can't save, unfortunately. That's always the hardest part of this job."
Iris showed a relieved expression, aiming her eyes at the former speedster. "At least Barry's okay."
"Yeah, why'd he even let Barry go?" Joe asked in confusion.
"You're a detective, Uncle Joe." Ruby said. "It's pretty obvious. Zoom didn't have a reason to kill Barry, he's not a threat anymore, not without his powers. Killing him would have been a waste of time and energy."
Barry clenched his anger at those words.
"It won't be long now." Harry groaned. "He's moving faster than he ever did on my Earth."
Iris asked. "So, what's next?"
"Next, he'll recruit every metahuman he can find, and then force them to do what he wants." Harry revealed.
"How many could be left?" Joe wondered. "We defeated most of them, didn't we?"
"Highly doubtful, Joe." Matt stated.
"What do you mean?" Henry asked the nanite mutant.
"No, Stark's right. You're not even close." The Earth-2 scientist pulled out a USB drive. "This…" He plugged it into the computer. "Is a list of metahumans from my Earth." He pulled up the list of metahumans on a monitor. "Ones that are known, anyway."
Olivia looked at Harry's face and analyzed it quickly before saying. "Why do I feel like there's a huge difference between our two Earths?"
"Once again, you're right, Fury-Stark. The particle accelerator explosion was contained on my Earth." Harrison replied.
"Hold on, that didn't happen here." Matt realized.
"Exactly." Harrison nodded his confirmation.
"Then why wouldn't we know about other metahumans here?" Henry asked.
The detective knew the answer, gesturing to the array of heroes in the Cortex. "Because of The Flash, Venom, Knight, Angel and the rest here."
Iris pieced everything together. "And now that everyone knows that the fastest and the strongest aren't around…"
"They'll start coming out of the woodwork." Cisco added in dismay.
Henry argued. "We don't know that."
"What more do you need?" Harry countered. "I told you he'd recruit metahumans. We've seen him do that. I told you he would kill those officers. We saw him do that too. We almost saw him kill Snow and Fury's daughter. Stark prevented that. What more do you need?"
"Wells, enough!" Olivia shouted. Harry backed down.
Surprise came over them all when Barry stated to Harry. "Let's do it. I want to do it."
"You sure about this, Allen?" Ruby asked. "Last chance to back out."
"I'm sure." Barry shared a deep look with the entire team. "One of the cops that Zoom killed tonight, he had a son." He locked eyes with his father. "Same age I was when Mom was murdered. And now, another kid has to grow up without one of their parents because The Flash wasn't there to stop that monster. Seth had to go and save Caitlin… I lost my powers… and even with Matt, Frankie and Ruby, it still feels like I left this city unprotected by giving up my powers to Zoom. I enabled him to rule this Earth. I need my powers back."
"If that's what you want…" Matt trailed off, he turned to Harry with a cold iron look. "You sure it won't end up with more metahumans popping up?"
"I'm sure." Harrison confirmed with a nod.
"Let's do it. Let's set off the particle accelerator." Barry finalized.

(Breach Room)
They all walked down into the Breach Room; Barry clad in his Flash suit and the other heroes wearing their own suits.
Olivia examined the machine, thinking that it looks like a massive electric chair constructed with advanced machinery. "This thing's gonna be the craziest thing we've ever done."
"Yeah…" Matt agreed. "Sure, you should be here?"
"I'll have a shield up when this thing goes off, I swear. Nothing's gonna happen to me, the girls and the others…" Olivia made sure to divert her husband's eyes to her stomach where she tapped on her lower abdomen, wordlessly referring to the twins growing in her.
Matt subtly nodded, happy that his wife was taking these precautions.
While Harry screwed the small chemical containers to the machine and Cisco checked the cables attached to the machine, Iris asked. "So how does this work?"
Cisco answered. "It's an abbreviated version of the accelerator evil Wells built, expect Harry is isolating the antimatter and dark energy to direct it to Barry instead of the entire city."
"Good. Last thing we need is more metahumans running around Central City." Joe stated.
Ruby looked up and down the machine. "Thing looks like an electric chair…"
"That's a crude interpretation of this highly advanced machine, Fury." Harrison said while checking the chemical levels of the containers.
"Hold on, I know I'm not off-the-charts smart like the rest of you, but how the heck is Barry supposed to take in dark matter from a particle accelerator explosion?" Frankie asked, pointing a finger at the former speedster. "Last time it scattered over the entire city, this machine's gonna redirect all of that into a human… Am I the only one imagining a water balloon with too much water in it?"
"You think he's gonna burst?" Ruby asked.
Frankie shrugged. "Not that unimaginable if you think about it."
"Frankie's got a point." The detective pointed a finger to his niece in agreement. "Wells, you sure this thing won't blow my son into a dust cloud?"
"It won't happen." Harry confidently stated. "I've done the calculations; I've taken every precaution for this. Allen's gonna be fine."
Iris asked in concern for Barry. "So… Barry just gets in, we turn it on, and that's it?"
"Yeah." Harry said.
"Wells, explain everything, no lies." Olivia adamantly demanded, seeing through his lie.
"Fine." Harrison accepted to her conditions. "In addition to recreating what happened with the particle accelerator explosion, we also have to recreate what happened to Barry." He explained as he moved up to the platform.
"What more happened than him getting hit by dark matter?" Ruby asked, unfamiliar with the story. That or she just didn't listen to his story when it was previously told.
"He was struck by lightning the night of the accelerator explosion." Frankie reminded her sister, who tilted her head as she vaguely remembered something like that being told to her.
"That's right." Harry nodded.
"And how are you exactly gonna conjure up an act of God? You gonna prank-call Zeus, tell him a knock-knock joke and hope he dumps a bolt of lightning on our building here like it's a bathroom visit?" Olivia joked.
"Vivid image, Fury-Stark." The Earth-2 scientist groaned at the mental image of a deity taking a dump.
"Not to mention, it's not even raining outside." Iris added.
"Well, Ramon, you have the wand, and Stark you have your suit." Harrison announced.
"The one I made for Mark Mardon?" Cisco asked for clarification.
"No, the one you built for the Harry Potter convention. Yes, of course, the one you built for Mardon." Harrison sarcastically quipped.
Cisco narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "How do you know about the Harry Potter convention?"
"Get the want. Get on the roof with Stark." Harry ordered.
"Why the roof?" Joe asked.
"And why do you want my husband up there?" Olivia asked, gesturing to Matt.
"Because we're gonna need a lightning rod, and that, Ramon, is gonna be you." Harry nodded to Cisco. Facing Matt, he informed. "As for you, Stark, you're gonna help him get the lightning."
"What?" Matt asked.
"In case the lightning gets uncontrollable, you're gonna be up there, in the air, with your suit and the lightning's gonna hit you immediately, because of your adamantium skeleton and your suit." Harry stated. "You're gonna lower yourself closer to Ramon, who's gonna use the wand and take the lightning from your body."
"So, my husband's gonna be a safety precaution and be used as a secondary lightning rod?" Olivia asked. Harry nodded. Turning to her husband, she asked worriedly. "You think your suit can handle that?"
"Iron Knight, nope, it's not suited to take on high temperatures. My Frost-Flame should be able to and I did equip it with a Lightning Refocuser, but I haven't tested it yet." Matt explained.
"Now's as good as time as any, right Stark?" Harrison smirked.
Olivia knew her husband was mentally agreeing to this. "Are you sure?"
"… I'm in." Matt nodded.

Opening the latch on the S.T.A.R. Labs rooftop, Cisco got out of it and stood on the roof, wielding the Wizard's Wand. Matt followed quickly behind him, wearing his Frost-Flame suit. Wind blew in their faces as they stood on the roof.
"All right, we're on the roof." Cisco told Harrison through the earpiece. "Wow, I've never actually been up here before."
"Been here a few times, actually." Matt revealed. He recognized a damaged area close to them. "Oh yeah, I fought Seth here last time. Good times." As he spoke, nanites swarmed over his back and withdrew the modified machine gun on his back, replacing them with six energy-absorbing panels, each of them emitting blue light.
"I think I can see my apartment from here." Cisco said as he looked into the far reaches of the city. Glancing at the mutant, he asked with a gesture to the panels on his back. "Think those things will be able to handle the job?"
Matt shrugged. "First time they're gonna be used to absorb lightning and then hurl it at a friend, but let's see what happens."
"Now head straight to the satellite, Ramon." Harrison instructed. "Stark, you're gonna fly above his position and then fly directly up. When I give you the signal, Ramon, you're gonna create a lightning storm above you with the lightning that Stark's directing to himself."
Cisco gulped. "So, I'm just supposed to stand here in the middle of a lightning storm? Wait for my friend to hit me with lightning?"
"Really, Ramon. Chances of being struck are slim, indeed… or you can hope that Stark's gonna miss." Harry mused.
The nanite mutant chuckled. "You do know I'm a sniper, right?"
"Not helping, dude!" Cisco countered.
"All we need is one lightning bolt to strike the satellite." The Earth-2 scientist stated. "The satellite circuity's connected to the Breach Room. Barry's in the Breach Room. Just do it."
"Yeah, we're doing it!" Cisco shouted. The viber watched the mutant equip his helmet and the repulsors on his hands and feet flared, pushing him up from the ground. "You ready for this?"
"Ready as I'll ever be." Matt answered before increasing the energy in his repulsors, propelling him into the air.
Watching his friend fly higher into the air, the lightning clouds crackling in his path and slowly intensifying around Matt's position. "Mozart better watch out. Cisco Ramon and Matt Stark are about to conduct something nasty."
"Let's do this!" Matt screamed into his comms, he had to shout over the intensifying lightning over his head.
X
From the platform in the Breach Room, Olivia, Frankie and Ruby watched Barry attach himself to the large mini particle accelerator. Iris and Joe watched from the side, closely examining everything he was doing.
The psychic watched Barry slide his arms and legs into the clamps. "Wells, I really hope this goes well. My husband's being treated as a lightning rod out there because of your plan." She told the Earth-2 scientist.
"He's gonna be fine, Fury-Stark, just calm down. Last time he absorbed elements, he survived, right?" Harrison reminded her.
"That was because he wore a suit that was able to handle those elements, not an armor with an experimental weapon." The mutant countered.
"He's gonna be fine." Harry countered. He faced the former speedster. "You're gonna feel these clamps, but they're necessary." He said as the clamps tightened around his appendages.
"You good?" Joe asked Barry.
"Yeah." Barry nodded. "You?" He asked. Seeing the look on Joe's face, he assured him. "I'll be fine, Joe." The detective stepped away, walking towards the platform to stand with the others.
Iris stepped forward to him. "Barry, whatever happens… It will never change the way that I feel about you."
Barry smiled appreciatively at her words, a smile which she mimicked. She walked after her father after a short while.
"Godspeed, Barry." Olivia told him.
"Thanks." Barry nodded his gratitude.
Henry walked forward, standing before his son who's strapped in the machine. "Son, you don't have to do this if you don't want to."
Barry shook his head. "Being The Flash… That's the best version of me. If I don't have my speed, I'll never be that person anymore." He confessed with tears rolling down his cheeks. "I have to do this."
Henry accepted his son's confession and reasoning. "Okay." He stepped backwards to stand beside the others.
"You ready, Allen?" Harry asked him. Immediately Barry gave a final nod, confirming his decision. "All right, then."
"This better work…" Frankie clenched her hands. "Otherwise, I don't care what the others say, we're gonna go and save our mother."
Ruby agreed immediately with a nodding. "Amen to that, sis."
As Henry moved to the adjacent panel to monitor his son's vials, Harrison stated. "Here we go." Everyone watched the slide doors close in front of Barry and the large device. The Earth-2 scientist started the process, and the entire facility shook.
"What's going on?" Ruby said in confusion.
Watching the accelerator ring on his screen, as well as 3D virtual images of the containers with specific chemicals, Harry informed. "The particles are becoming unstable."
"That's causing the entire place to shake?" Ruby asked in shock.
"Exactly. Stark, Ramon, get ready!" Harrison told the powered beings on the roof. "I'm gonna release the chemicals into his system." He pressed the buttons and injection needles pierced Barry's skin, injecting special chemicals into his body.
Iris watched Barry's face tense up and groan in pain through gritted teeth. "Why are you doing this?" She asked the Earth-2 scientist.
He explained. "The night Barry was struck by lightning; he was doing fingerprint analysis. Those chemicals got in his system then, and they are going in now."
"So, you're injecting them into him?" Iris shouted.
"We have to recreate everything that happened to Barry that night." Harrison explained quickly while the drugs injected into Barry's body.
Speaking through the pain, Barry said. "I'm okay, Iris!"
"Hold on, Barry." Joe told his foster son.
"Girls, go and check on Wally and Jesse." Olivia sternly told her nieces.
Before Ruby could respond, Frankie said. "I'm gonna go and check on them, I got a symbiote and all." Not waiting for a response, she ran out of the Breach Room.
"Thanks, sis, don't wanna be a babysitter!" The former HYDRA assassin shouted in gratitude.
"God!" Barry shouted through the pain before shaking violently in a manner akin to a seizure.
"He's going hydrostatic." Henry diagnosed with worry.
"Almost there. Almost there." Harry chanted.
"Wells!" Henry shouted to the Earth-2 scientist.
"Almost there." Harry repeated. "Stark, get ready. Ramon, you too!"
X
While still in the air, Matt looked directly down, seeing that the viber was below him. Sending a nod to him, the nanite mutant looked around and saw the clouds crackling with lightning. "Let's go!"
The mutant formed more metallic weapons around his body and the lightning crackled more violently before it hit down on Matt's armored body. Gritting in pain from the sensation of the vicious element attacking his body, he formed two big blades on his arms.
The refocuser on his back directed the lightning to it, channeling the lightning through his arms and to his energy swords. "Cisco, I'm ready!" He shouted into his comms, the side of his helmet cracking from the intense thunderbolt.
"Now, Ramon!" Harry shouted.
Matt took that as his cue and thrusted both blades downwards, swinging the thundering element from his blades and towards Cisco, who shouted while holding up the wand. "Expecto Patronum!" The lightning connected with the wand and connected with the satellite, channeling it through the rooftop and into the machine in the breach room.
X
"Great Scott! It's working!" Cisco replied to the others in the Breach Room excitedly through the comms.
"Cisco, is Matt okay?!" Olivia screamed into the comms.
"To- Totally on t-t- top of this!" Matt stuttered through the pain of crackling lightning coursing through his body.
But he wasn't the only one to feel lightning coursing through his body. Barry felt the lightning course into his body through the machine he was strapped into and he screamed in pain. This was worse than the time he was hit by lightning before last year.
Flashes of lightning came over their faces and Harry said with his eyes on the monitor of the accelerator ring again. "Initiating collision." He announced as the virtualized particles collided on the screen.
Through the immense tube behind Barry, the collision of particles released a wave of dark matter and traveled through the tunnel. The former speedster groaned and arched his back in shock when he felt the dark matter and lightning hit his body.
Everyone watched it happening and it… It was like… Barry's body was drowning in a flood of dark matter and lightning… Barry screamed… but it drowned out as…
… his face… his chest… his entire body… deteriorated before their eyes…
"Barry!" Iris shouted at the sight of her loved one disintegrating before her eyes.
"Oh fuck!" Olivia lashed out her hands, forming a psychic barrier in front of her friends and family.
The moment his entire body disintegrated into nothing, the dark matter wave catapulted into the slide doors and shattered the glasses with ease. It easily overwhelmed the psychic mutant's barriers, shattering them and sending everyone to the ground.
But Ruby used her powers to gently push her aunt against a wall to cushion her fall, fearing that anything else… would cause the… unthinkable…
The wave of dark matter continued, flying into the rest of the facility.
X
Frankie quickly ran through the hallway and saw Jesse and Wally run through the corridors. "What are you two doing here?! Get-"
"Frankie behind you!" Jesse screamed, pointing a finger behind her.
Before the symbiote-bearer could even turn to face it, she was shot into the air by the dark matter wave… which traveled onwards and hit both Jesse and Wally who landed on the ground. The magnekinetic ricocheted off a wall before landing on the ground…
The wave of dark matter short-circuited every single piece of tech in its path… and sparks rained over the three unconscious young people…
"Frankie!" Magenta screamed in her host's head, pleading to get a response from her sister. "Wake up, Frankie!"
X
Olivia couldn't believe that her little young niece managed to save her from hitting the floor with her powers. Both her hands cupping her lower abdomen protectively. She knew it was impossible, but she wished her twins would have brains and thoughts whilst growing inside of her, just to check their conditions and see if they're alright.
Matt and Cisco got into the Breach Room. "It worked!" The viber shouted.
"What happened?" Matt said while waving away smoke with his hands. His focus turned to his wife who held her stomach protectively. As blood drained from his face, he rushed down to her side. "Livia!"
"I'm fine!" She assured her husband who crouched down beside her. "I'm really fine, I swear." Olivia smiled with a nod to Ruby who got back up on her feet. "Thanks to Ruby."
"Nice job, kiddo." Matt told his niece.
Nodding her thanks, Ruby got up to her feet. "Is everyone okay?" She asked out loud, seeing that people are getting back on their feet.
Cisco used his time to look around in confusion. "What happened?"
Harry opened the slide doors with a push of a button. More smoke came out of the room… and Barry was nowhere to be found. "No!" Iris covered her mouth and broke down in tears.
"No." Henry got up to his feet, glaring at Harrison. "What did you do to my son?"
"Frankie was right… He burst…" Ruby hated that her sister was wrong.
"He didn't burst… He disintegrated into nothing." Olivia gulped.
WHOOSH
A blue zoom appeared in the Breach Room, revealing himself to be Zoom. He picked up the roasted Flash uniform, the chest portion of the suit left behind, but charred. Struggling to not laugh at their attempt, Hunter stated. "You thought you could give The Flash his speed back?" He locked eyes with Harry. "Well done. You killed him instead."
He dropped the suit remains and sped out of the facility… The others grieving… as they are responsible for killing Barry Allen… For killing The Flash…
To be continued…
And that's a chapter peeps!
Now normally there'd be a recap paragraph here, but I'm not gonna do that here. Takes too much time, and I'm betting you guys are gonna be bored of reading the same thing as the pages above, just in a shorter version. Instead, I'm gonna keep it short and sweet.
Stay tuned and find out what happens next!
Until next time, peeps!
