Doody's POV
3 Days later, Kenickie hid us in his trunk and we arrived at the drive-in and saw Kenickie open the trunk.
"Move your butt Putz." I heard Sonny say to Putzie.
Then Putzie stood up.
"Ok, let's find the girls." Kenickie said as he shuts his trunk and we walked off and saw three of the Pink Ladies pulling up in Frenchy's car with Marty driving it. "Alright, I'mma find Rizzo, Kay boys." Kenickie said.
"Ok Kenickie!" I said.
We walked over to the girls.
"Hey sweetie." I said giving Frenchy a kiss.
"Hey cutie Doody." She giggled.
"Hey, what's happening." I said.
We looked over to see Sonny smiling at Marty.
"There's nobody's here." Marty said walking away, not looking at Sonny.
We looked over at Sonny with sad looks.
"I'm gonna go catch up to her." Sonny said running off. "Hey Marty, wait up!"
I turned my attention back to Frenchy.
"C'mon French, let's go enjoy the movie." I said winking at her.
She giggled.
"Oh Doody, I love it when you get romantic." Frenchy smiled as we got in the car.
I put my arm around her and kissed her.
"How's Sonny doing?" Frenchy asked. "After being drunk at the dance-off?"
"He was in a good mood until tonight." I said. "Sorry."
"No, it's ok." She said. "I don't blame you if you don't ever wanna see me again."
I looked at her confused.
"Why would you say that?" I asked.
"Because the way Rizzo is treating Sandy, Danny and Kenickie, and also the way Marty treats Sonny." She said. "You even told me that he cried when Danny dropped him off."
I looked down, feeling bad for Frenchy and held her chin up.
"Listen Frenchy, yes the guys and I may not like Rizzo and kind of Marty right now…but I could never ever stop loving you." I assured her.
She smiled weakly.
"I love you so much to lose you." She said.
"Babe, you can never lose me." I winked.
She giggled.
"Besides I think you're the hottest redheads ever there is." I whispered in her ears, making her giggled.
"Oh Doody." She smiled.
I kissed her cheek when I heard Putzie and Jan get back in the car and I glanced back at them.
"Hey lovebirds, did you do it?" I asked.
"Shut up Anthony." I heard Putzie muttered.
I quickly turned back, glaring at him as he snickered making me roll my eyes at him. Then we look out of the window to see Sandy running pass the car, crying her eyes out. Uh oh, this is not good!
"Uh oh, Danny must've been too smoothed." Jan says.
"I'll go after her." Frenchy offers.
"I'm coming too!" Jan says as they both got out.
"I'm gonna go talk to him." Putzie said getting out of the car.
"What am I'm gonna do then?" Doody asked.
I half stuck my head out of the window as he turned to me.
"Are you really serious right now?" I asked him, giving him the look as in, go after the girls and take them home.
"Oh, right. Bye!" I said driving off.
I drove to see Frenchy, Sandy and Jan at the gate of the drive-in, so I parked the car and got out.
"Look Sandy, I know you want nothing to do with the T-Birds but you gotta understand and forgive Zuko." I said.
But she just hugs me while crying.
"Why is love so hard?" She cried.
I hugged her tightly and let go, putting a comfort hand on her shoulder.
"It's gonna be ok." I told her. "I promise you that Danny Zuko is the BEST guy in the world and I know, the guys and the girls know how much Danny loves you." She just sniffs. "C'mon, I'll drive you girls home." I offered.
"Thanks Doody." Frenchy said kissing me cheek.
We got in the car and I drove the girls home.
