Don't you dare!
As Rin began to relax and feel more comfortable she slowly began to remove the rouge from her lips, and the powder from her face.
Her fancy hairpins came down and her wild locks were only held out of her face by her signature side ponytail.
The young girl rolled up the sleeves to her pretty pink and red kimono and was helping with cleaning up and serving food. She also removed the clogged sandals with the straps that irritated the skin between her toes.
Kohaku smiled and made fun of the young girl making her chase him around to shut him up.
Young Rin finally began to have fun and enjoy herself.
"I knew it! Oh, Sango this is soooooo cute! Can you just imagine how adorable Kohaku and Rins wedding will be!" Kagome whispered in excitement to her side believing the once powerful demon slayer to be there. "Huh? Sango?" Kagome looked for her friend catching her being cornered by a lord that didn't seem to want to let up. Even though Sango was married now with three kids.
"Sango! My sweet and strong Sango! Your daughters and son are as perfect as you! I'd love them as my own! Surely you know this!" The very persistent lord spoke while holding the hands of Sango.
Sangos face was painted in a red embarrassment. She honestly didn't know how much more clearly she could turn this guy down?
"Ugh? Thank you, that's very kind? But I'm happy with Miroku. He is a wonderful father and an amazing husband!" Sango said still trying to back away.
Kagome giggled to herself and was on her way to assist her friend when an oh to familiar face appeared.
"Oh, Kagome! It's so good to see you! You were missing for so long! I was so worried about you!" The young Akitoki spoke holding up Kagome's hands and hugging her. "I know that I have now married, and it must seem odd to you that such a coincidence as my wife and you sharing the same name and there is a very interesting tale to that you see!?" Akitoki was silenced by Kagome.
"Hey, it's ok. Go and have fun! I'm happy you and your wife can be here tonight! Happy Valentine's Day!" Kagome waved off trying to put some distance between her and another random confession of love.
"Oh boy? I should've given more thought to the people I invited?" Kagome smiled.
She looked around and was happy to see Jinenji and Shiori talking and smiling. Rin and Kohaku and Shippo running around like they were little kids again. Even if her and Sango weren't having as much fun it still brought her joy to see everyone happy and enjoying themselves.
Inuyasha was even talking to a few old friends. Like the monkey sprites that gave them the helpful hint on where to find Naraku when he disappeared into Mt. Hakurei, and the panther demon tribe who once stole her and her friends and planned to use them as a sacrifice.
"Gee people really do change?" Kagome thought as she looked around.
"Kohaku! Don't you dare! You better not do it Kohaku!" Rin yelled as she ran in the opposite direction from him. He was getting ready to sling a giant mud pie at her when he all of a sudden stopped when he noticed the massive demon that Rin had run into.
"Girl! How many times have I told you to always watch where your running in the middle of a battle!" Buru snarled as he lifted Rin up from the ground.
"General Buru! You came!" Rin smiled.
