Kozik sat behind the bedroom door watching Elizabeth sleep. He moved inside when Maria asked him what he was doing outside the door and told him he would keep Elizabeth safe inside the door rather than outside.

Kozik didn't know what to think regarding Elizabeth. He could see how much Happy cared for her and fuck if he was honest with himself he would admit that Happy loved Elizabeth. Genuinely in love with her like his love for the club and his Ma.

But it still didn't sit right about Elizabeth trying to run away even if he told Happy to let it go. Kozik couldn't let it go. One of those do as I say and not as I do situations. But he also felt guilty that she was forced into this marriage. Kozik didn't give any of the hang arounds or sweet-butts a second thought because they wanted to be here in the clubhouse with the SONS or even the old-Ladys as they knew what they had signed up for. They knew when they got married what they were marrying into. One of the reasons why he was still single. But Elizabeth hadn't chosen this and it bothered him that he felt sorry for her.

He had started liking her after the Harry Potter marathon and it worried him that Happy asked him to watch her. Not watch her like last time so she wouldn't run away but watch that she was safe. He knew something had to have happened yesterday when he found her heaving over the trash can, but he couldn't help her if he didn't know what was going on.

Kozik saw Elizabeth tossing and turning and it worried him even more about what Happy was out there doing to protect her

Knock Knock

Kozik was up in a second his gun in his right hand and as he open the door he kept the gun pointing through the door knowing these cheap doors offered no protection

"Hey brotha" said Chibs

"What's up Chibs?" asked Kozik not moving the gun

"I wanted to check in on Elizabeth see how the lass was doing" said Chibs feeling guilty that he hadn't checked in on her after Happy was shot

"She's fine" said Kozik his foot keeping the door from opening wider

"Why are you here?" asked Chibs

"You better not be sleeping with her" groan Chibs. Kozik pulled him into the room not wanting anyone to hear Chibs and have it get back to Happy.

"Shut up" said Kozik "Elizabeth thought she saw NORDS last night and got spooked. Happy asked me to watch her back. He thinks the NORDS will hurt her since she is both MAYAN and SONS family" said Kozik knowing that when lying it was better to stick close to the truth

"Fuck, I hadn't realized that they would think that" said Chibs running a hand down his face.

"Yeah"

"Where's Happy?" asked Chibs. Kozik shrugged his shoulders

"You guys know It's weird waking up to you talking?" asked Elizabeth waking up

"Oh lass, I'm sure I can think of different things we can be doing" said Chibs with a laugh and a wink

"Chibs when Happy asked me to help him bury your body I won't hesitate to say yes just for you suggesting a devil threesome. I need my threesome with two sets of breasts"

"Sorry Sorry" said Chibs apologetic "I guess I'll pass the message to Bobby" said Chibs and walked out the door with a laugh.

"Ignore him" said Kozik closing the door

"You okay?" asked Kozik. Elizabeth wanted to nod her head and say she was okay like she normally would but she shook her head instead

"I'm not… but I will be" she said honestly

"So have you creepily been watching me sleep?" she asked jokingly

"No, I have creepily been watching your back" Kozik said

"Thanks" she said sincerely.

"Ready for the real world?"

"Yeah let me wash my face. I'm starving" said Elizabeth standing up. Kozik nodded grateful he was starving too. It was close to the evening and he hadn't moved for any reason. As soon as Elizabeth got out of the bathroom he was going to take care of his own business

Elizabeth and Kozik walked out of the dormrooms and towards the bar.

"Hey honey" said Gemma hugging Elizabeth. She had missed her help today and was glad to see her. Gemma was surprised to realize how much she had relied on Elizabeth without even realizing it.

"Hey Gemma how are you?" asked Elizabeth hugging Gemma back

"I'm good honey, let me go help those girls and I'll see you later" said Gemma walking towards the kitchen

"Ellie" Elizabeth looked down and saw Ellie, Donna's daughter running to her

"Hey Ellie" gretted her

"Hey Ellie" said the little girl with a toothy smile. She loved that they had the same name even if people called her Elizabeth rather than Ellie

"Where's your mom?" asked Elizabeth surprised not to see Donna hovering

"I don't know, gramma picked us up" said Ellie and waved goodbye to Elizabeth going with the other kids that were playing around

Happy walked into the clunhouse and his eyes zeroed in on Elizabeth who was sitting at the bar moving the food around the plate but not actually eating. He was glad to see Kozik sitting next to Elizabeth and keeping an eye on the door. Happy nodded to Kozik who took the hint and picked up his plate and walked away.

Elizabeth looked up surprised to see Kozik walk away when he hadn't left her side in 2 hours. She felt her body fill with relief at the sight of Happy. She got up and walked towards Happy. She wrapped her arms around him and was so relieved to see him and touch him knowing he was safe.

"Finish eating and then we're going on a ride" said Happy. Elizabeth nodded her head and grabbed his hand intertwining their fingers. They sat at the bar eating quietly. When they were done Happy helped Elizabth sit on the back of his bike before climbing on. He wanted her to be comfortable they had a long ride ahead of them.

They drove for over an hour into the woods. Elizabeth enjoyed the closeness to Happy.

Elizabeth was surprised to see Esai waiting for them. Happy pulled Elizabeth to his side and they walked towards the hole in the ground. Elizabeth looked down to see a blue tarp. She could see at the ends blood coming out and gasped

"Paco?" she asked. Happy gave a small nod. She didn't know how to feel that Paco was dead. Much less that she was standing over his body.

"We're going to light it on fire" said Esai quietly playing with a lighter in his hands.

Elizabeth stared at the tarp and felt relieved.

"I hate you for hurting me. For making me so distrustful of men everywhere. But I forgive you because I need to move on with my life. I forgive myself for not forgiving myself earlier" said Elizabeth.

Happy wrapped her arms around Elizabeth wanting to show her support as Esai threw the lighter in and it went up in flames.

"Thank you" said Elizabeth quietly to Happy
