Braxton House

"What's this family meeting about?" Heath asks as he walks in with Bianca.

"Good, everyone's here." Brax says as he walks into the house from the flat, Ricky walking beside him.

"What's going on?" Casey asks.

"If this is about what I did with the deliveries, Heath told me to do it." Lucas says.

"You snitch!"

"You said to blame it on someone else." Lucas lights shrugs.

"Yeah, I meant one of the other employees, not me." Heath moans.

"We're not here about that but we'll talk about that another time." Brax says, them all looking over at him.

"Then what's this about?" Heath asks.

"We got married." Ricky grins, holding up her ring finger to show a flash diamond ring.

They knew it would be hard telling them, knowing Kyle was there and none of them were, but they didn't want a big wedding. They had to get married with a witness but didn't want a stranger watching it, so they thought it would be better having Kyle as it cheered him up. He felt grateful they gave him the opportunity and forgot about his life for a moment.

"Congratulations." Lucas grins.

"You got married and didn't want us there?" Heath asks.

"We didn't want anyone there." Brax says. "It was a last minute thing we decided and it was what we wanted."

"Well congrats then bro." Heath smiles.

"You need a witness to get married." Casey says, staring at them. "That's why Kyle went, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it was." Brax nods as the girls go into the flat to talk about it.

"Good for you." Casey glares, pushing himself up before walking out.

"What's wrong with him?" Brax frowns.

"He's jealous you took Kyle away." Heath says. "Just being childish if you ask me."

"Kyle, Emily's dad came into Angelo's the other day, he left a message for you." Lucas says as he moves to the couch with Kyle while Heath and Brax carrying on talking.

"What's the message?" Kyle asks.

"He said he doesn't want you to be pressured into seeing her, and she didn't want to hurt you anymore. He also said there's no hard feelings." Lucas says.

"Right." Kyle nods.

"I said the same." Lucas grins. "So what do you want to do about it?"

"I might go and see her." Kyle says, having thought a lot about it over the last few days. "I feel like I should give her a chance to explain herself properly this time. No lies, no one else's input, just me and her."

"I think it could help you with this. Whether you choose to fully move past it or maybe even work through it to get a friendship out of it." Lucas says.

"I haven't stayed friends with any of my exes."

"There's a first for everything." Lucas says.

"I'm going to head over now before I change my mind." Kyle says, standing up and leaving before they could say anything.

Emily's House

"I'm sorry for lying, I hope you can understand that I never wanted to hurt you." Emily says once she had explained the whole truth to Kyle. "And I promise you, I swear on my life, that it was the whole truth this time. I should have told you at the start, I knew it was the decent thing to do but I cared more about keeping you, so I lied."

"You wouldn't have lost me by telling me this straight away. I get that everyone has a past and it didn't bother me. It's the fact that you lied to me about it when I asked." Kyle says. "Thank you for telling the truth now."

"It's the least you deserved." Emily says, glancing down at her cast. "You always came first to me, I know I didn't show that. If I could go back and change things, I would in a heartbeat."

"I'm not the only one who's been hurt by this." Kyle says, taking a deep breath. "Look at what he did to you."

"I deserved this." Emily scoffs.

"No one deserves that." Kyle shakes his head. "Are you feeling okay?"

"It doesn't hurt as bad as it did, the pain meds help. I just feel so free now I don't have him calling all the time, being there every time I leave the house. I can now see how bad it really was, how obsessed he was." Emily says. "I really thought he was just being friendly and wanted the best for my career. How stupid was I to believe that?"

"You were manipulated by him, he took advantage." Kyle says. "It wasn't real love he had, it was… I don't even know what it was. I'm glad you're okay."

"So am I. For a moment I thought that would be it. It was so scary." Emily mutters.

"You don't have to be scared of him anymore." Kyle says, subconsciously taking her hand, not removing it once he realised.

"Why are you being so nice about this?" Emily asks.

"Because I let him get between us. Maybe none of this would have happened if I did something sooner." Kyle says, gazing into her eyes. "I still love you, I haven't stopped."

"You couldn't have done anything to stop this, he would have tried anything. So what happens now?" Emily asks.

"I'd like to work through things, but we'd have to take it slow." Kyle says.

"Don't mess with me." Emily says, taking her hand from his.

"I'm not." Kyle says. "Unless you don't want to. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." He says as he stands up, thinking he ruined things by suggesting it.

"I never thought you'd forgive me." Emily mutters, standing up to face him. "I love you. I want to be with you, so we can take it slow if you really want to?"

"Okay." Kyle smiles, gently hugging her.

"I've missed you." Emily says, not wanting to let go. "I'm never losing you again."

"I don't want to lose you either." Kyle says, scared of losing her after how good they were together.

Surf Club - The Gym

"What's this about you being jealous of Kyle?" Brax asks as he walks into the gym office.

"I'm not jealous of Kyle." Casey grunts.

"Well according to Heath you weren't happy we took Kyle away, and then how you reacted this morning. It seems to me like you're jealous as well." Brax says. "Is there going to be a problem between you two again, cause I could really do without it after everything that's gone on."

"What happened to it being just us two that did things?" Casey asks.

"You're not a kid anymore, Case, things change. I'm making time for our other brothers now, like I should have done before. I let Heath do what he wanted growing up so I could focus on you, and he turned to violence and drug dealing because he didn't know any different. If I had given him the same time as you, maybe things would have been different." Brax says. "Maybe I would have noticed that we had more brothers out there that needed us. And maybe you could have grown up knowing the whole world doesn't revolve around you."

"You've seriously changed." Casey shakes his head. "There was a time you didn't care about that stuff-"

"I've always cared about that stuff, I just put you first because I wanted one of us to have a good life growing up." Brax interrupts. "The second I started living my life without putting you first, you drank yourself stupid with alcohol and nearly died. When are you going to realise that you're not the only brother I have?"

"I know I'm not the only brother, I just thought I still meant something."

"Do you know what you sound like, Casey?" Brax scoffs. "I haven't stopped caring any less about you, I'm just giving the rest of my family the time of day so they don't start feeling worthless."

"They've never felt like that."

"You've been really close to Kyle over the last couple months. You're telling me you didn't notice how down and dejected he's been, feeling like people just use him for what they want before dumping him?" Brax asks, Casey staying quiet. "He's had it tough and I just wanted to make him feel like not everyone is the bad guy. You should have wanted to do that as well, not make things worse by being a dick towards him."

"So he's going through a rough patch because he keeps being cheated on. If he actually got himself a girl that loved him enough to only want him, he wouldn't have that problem. And it's not my fault his birth mum dumped him outside somewhere to die even though she kept his triplets."

"Where did I go wrong with you?" Brax shakes his head. "That's your brother you're talking about. When did you become this cold?"

"Since you made me feel pointless for letting Kyle be at your wedding and not me." Casey glares.

"And I'd do it again." Brax says, not about to back down to him. "If this is how you want to start acting, don't expect me to pick up the pieces for you." He says, walking out.
