At first, I hadn't been thrilled at the idea of sharing my day with Bella with Embry, Quil and Seth. But in the end, it turned out quite nice.

First, we watched a silly comedy Seth had chosen and even though I would never say that to him, it was a wise choice. It gave me the opportunity to hear Bella's laughter and man, did she have a nice laughter. It was high and seemed to come straight from her heart.

She sat down very close to me and I had one arm around her shoulder. We shared the popcorn while I watched the others eating away all the stuff, we had initially bought for ourselves. But oddly enough, I was okay with that. With Bella at my side a lot of things seemed to be okay which would normally bother me.

She must have a good influence over me.

The movie ended and everyone got up to stretch. Bella used the opportunity to stretch out fully on the couch, laying her head down on the side, a happy smile on her face.

"Man, I'm hungry", Seth announced loud enough for everyone to hear. Bella opened one eye, looking at him in disbelief. "You just ate a whole week full of junk food."

"You say it, Bella", Quil added, winking. "Junk food. Not enough nutrition for a growing werewolf."

"So, it's a good thing I ordered pizza then?" she answered, looking totally innocent.

Absolute silence greeted her announcement. Everyone, including me, stared totally puzzled, trying to figure out the meaning of her words. Embry got it first. "Jake, if you are ever stupid enough to let her go, I'm the first in line to be your replacement." Instantly I drew Bella up and on my lap, holding her close to me to make it sure for everyone where she belonged. "As I said before to Seth. Don't even think about it. If you want someone ordering pizza for you, get your own girlfriend."

A few minutes later, someone knocked at the door. It was indeed the delivery guy, holding up a stash of cartons nearly as high as him.

"I didn't know what you liked so I ordered a variety." Bella stood up and waved at the boxes. "I think bacon and chicken should do?"

While the others checked out the boxes, I took Bella in my arms and kissed her on the cheek. "You are perfect, you know that?"

"Only because I ordered pizza?" she joked but blushed.

"Partly. But also, because you shared your day with them offered them our food and even thought of ordering something real to eat. That's why I love you so much. You care about others even more than you care for yourself."

Instead of answering, she rose to her toes, linked her hands in my neck and kissed me. Light at first but the kiss soon intensified. I lost track of time, my whole focus only on Bella and our kiss. I drew her as close to me as I could and even that was not close enough. I seriously thought about kicking Seth and Quil and Embry out so we could have the rest of the afternoon alone together.

"Hey, lovebirds, if you want to have some of that pizza, you should come over here now or it's all gone."

Bella stopped and grinned, although I could see in her eyes that she was a little disappointed too.

"Don't worry, we'll get them out before dinner and then we'll have the whole house to ourselves", I whispered against her lips and the sparkle in her eyes came back.

After one quick peck on the nose, we strolled over to the dinner table where indeed half of the (nine) boxes were already empty.

"I think that's yours." Embry motioned towards one of the open boxes which contained a pizza with pineapples.

"To make sure at least one of the pizzas remains for me", Bella joked and pulled over the box.

"You know, for that we'll let you choose the next movie", Seth began his mouth full of chicken and cheese.

"Whatever you want." Quil agreed and Embry simply nodded.

Knowing Bella this was an offer they would probably regret soon enough but I was wise enough to keep my mouth shut while I began eating my food.
