Third Person
When King Maxmillian led his daughter and 9 hedgehogs into their room, they all got situated on which hedgehog would be sleeping where. It was a fairly big room since it was requested that they all sleep together. Gold, like always, didn't care for any of this. Especially names. Why use or even have something when you're just going to kill everyone after the plan is complete? He just didn't get it but he was loyal to Havoc so he had to do what his Master commanded of him. Which totally wasn't fair if he was ever allowed for his mind to wonder.
All of them were connected in a way a 'hive mind' worked. Thoughts - mostly feelings in those thoughts - get sent back and forth between the 9 of them. It helped because feelings were a basic language that was engraved into each and every one of them since creation. So when he felt a very foreign feeling coming from Havoc's end, Gold felt like he might explode from how strong the feeling was. What was this damn feeling? Why was Havoc feeling it only when that pesky chipmunk was around? Whatever the feeling was, Gold was beginning to not like that chipmunk. He was Havoc's number 1 most trusted creation who doesn't ever fail. He had always wondered if there could ever be more than just that but he was the creation and Havoc was the creator. It just doesn't work that way. So he quickly snuffed out those thoughts before it could cause him more harm than good. He doesn't need to be thinking that way about his Master. But the more Gold thought about those feelings he once had... (And still do if he was being truly honest) those feelings felt just like what he was feeling when Havoc looked at that chipmunk... He shook his head rapidly at that. No that couldn't be possible. His Master falling for who has to be killed by him? Impossible! ... But these feelings say otherwise...
Gold growled to himself and banged his fist on a wall. Curse that chipmunk! How he hated her when he first laid eyes on her. He had quickly gotten the sense that the chipmunk would become a huge pest later on but he didn't realize it would be this bad. He had to do something about this before it escalated into something unstoppable. He looked around the hall he was in. After the 9 of them agreed with sleeping arrangements, Havoc commanded everyone to go out and find names for themselves. What a waste of time. He huffed and continued walking on not realizing what his one action had done. Far above him, a servant was dusting high up on a ladder. The force from his fist had caused the ladder to start rocking and the servant had let out a cry of alarm. That caught Gold's attention and without thinking at all, he flew into the air and caught the servant before she fell. The servant looked at her saver and smiled.
"Thank you." She said to which Gold scoffed and put her down on the ground. He was just about to fly off when what she said got his attention. "You know, you were like a super hedgehog there."
Gold froze and looked at her. All she did was smile.
"Super..." He muttered as he then flew off with a new idea in mind.
Walking along to a step by step beat, frowning every time his foot connected with the ground, 'Fluffy' scowled as he thought how that childish Hyper had given his name to him. Why was that hedgehog even alive? Just to make others suffer? Seems reasonable to him. As he looked around with his swirled eyes he tried to figure out what might be a good idea for him... He sighed because he had no idea. Maybe he should just call himself 'Fluffy' like Hyper suggested after all. Seems like a plausible solution for him after all... He shook his head and sighed once more. Why can't an insane hedgehog who has millions of ways to have fun not think of something as simple as a name? The golden demon sat down on the ground not caring if he was in the way of anyone walking past him. Most people wouldn't even want to get close to 'Fluffy' when they look at him even from afar. He then blinked and tilted his head. 'Fluffy'... Way... He smirked at the idea he had... Even if to anyone else it would make absolutely no sense whatsoever while to him it made perfect sense.
Knight knew he had to think of a name and wasn't having much luck when it came to telling what he would choose. At least he was lucky to sway Hyper away from choosing a name for him. He felt extremely bad for 'Fluffy' to be named that. 'God' not so much since he came up with that name on his own... Dark is going to have a field day using that name to mock him. The armored hedgehog could already see it now. Dark saying his name then 'God' goes crazy mad over it. Can't blame Dark for doing something like that. It's in his nature to mock others and show basically anyone that darkness truly is the more powerful thing no matter how much light there is. Knight was walking along in the hallway until he saw something from the corner of his eye. As he turned to look, he lifted his visor up to see a portrait of a legendary sword called 'Excalibur'. He knew such a sword would have to be some sort of myth but why not something to be real. As he unsheathed his sword to look at it, he realized that everything that he had used his sword for was cutting something and nothing stood in his way. Excalibur... He sheathed his sword and lowered his visor down. What a more perfect name for a knight like him.
His red dot eyes kept on watching everything move around him as he leaned against the wall with an impossibly bored look. Right now, 'God' was standing in the kitchen watching the little workers work like busy bees in the hive. So incredibly boring. He huffed and stood up straight as he walked out of the kitchen. A name. That's what he was trying to find. A name for himself. Considering everyone laughed at the one he told everyone... He shook his head then decided to walk around aimlessly. He thought 'God' was a perfect name for himself but maybe it was just too perfect for him that everyone else was just that jealous. That's what he liked to believe. 'God' wasn't even watching where he was walking and looked around to see that he was in some type of workshop... With a Mobian lynx doing something in mid-air? He tilted his head as he carefully walked close to this lynx. Judging by its figure, this lynx was a female and the whole mid-air part was because she was working on some sort of holographic files. Which she seemed to be having some trouble with. With this whole plan they all were working towards, 'God' decided to investigate by walking towards her. He was about to tap on her shoulder when his hand went through her shoulder. He didn't expect that and he thought she wasn't either by the fact she froze in place then turned to look at 'God'.
"Oh my. You startled me there." The lynx said as she calmed down. She didn't think she was that absorbed into her work until she was startled like that. 'God' had another question to add to the growing pile of things he wanted to ask. He was about to start talking when the lynx lifted her hand up to stop him before he even began. "I am sorry. I guess we should start over." She gives a friendly smile as she puts her hands together in front of her. "Hello. My name is Nicole. What is your name?"
"... God..." He expected her to giggle but when she only gave a smile, now he was really intrigued on who she is.
"Nice to meet you God. What brings you to Rotor's workshop?" Rotor?
"Uh... A name... Who's Rotor?"
"Rotor is my creator." 'God' blinked as he got such a short answer.
"And..."
Now it was Nicole's turn to stare at him. "And what?"
"That's it? Just saying who Rotor is? Nothing to describe him?"
"Oh silly me. Rotor is a walrus." 'God' really wondered how much information goes through this lynx's head... Maybe not that much considering his hand went through her body...
"Okay..."
When he got a giggle, he tilted his head at her as she smiled at him. "Rotor is my creator. I am sorry if I am causing you to be confused. I just... Want to see what a real living being would be like and... Try to act with real emotions."
"Is that so?" So she was playing with him... Maybe a little...
"Yes." She still had that smile but he could see she was trying hard to have emotions. He supposed they weren't so different after all considering that only since today he was allowed to show emotion while she on the other hand hadn't known about emotions before. He then caught sight of some strange files on a holographic board she was working on before. She seemed to have seen him looking and glanced at her work before looking back at him. "Ah... I am not sure I should be sharing information... But..." She turned back to her work and tried swiping across the screen of the file. "These exe files are always so finicky."
"Exe files huh?" He walked over to her to look at the screen.
"Yes. Exe files are downloadable files but have a tendency to become rather difficult. I was going to go through these files because they had valuable information but trying to open these files and even going through their information is rather troublesome..."
"Hmm..." He looked over at the screen then at her. "Can I have a go at it?"
Nicole looked at him then stepped aside. "I could get all the help I need."
He looked at the screen and started tapping on it corresponding to the files. Not even a few minutes later, he was able to get the whole situation under control and all files would open without any problem. Nicole was surprised that he had been able to deal with those exe files so easily and smiled at him.
"Oh thank you. I do not know what I would have done without your help."
"Eh it's nothing." And 'God' waved that off like it was nothing as he started walking away. "Your welcome by the way."
But then she said something that made him stop in his tracks. "'God' you mentioned needing a name, how about Exe?" He looked at her and was about to ask why when she talked again. "You were amazing with those exe files and it seems to suit you."
'God' turned back around and muttered "I'll think about it..." As he left. When he was exploring around, he couldn't help but go over what she said about his name. Exe... He kept saying that over and over and found that it was a very catchy name and did indeed suit him. He smiled as he figured out the perfect name for himself.
