Two years later
''Babe, Q, Puck I am home!'' Brittany calls out as she walks into their shared apartment dropping her keys into the bowl beside the door, she sighs tiredly walking into the living room and frowns as she sees no one around. ''Guys?!''
Puck walks out of the kitchen smiling slightly as he watches her drop tiredly down on the couch and walks over the her. ''Hey how was school?''
''Fucking tiring, this damn assignment pisses me off.''
''The capturing all the feelings on camera thingy?'' Puck asks curiously, Brittany nods her head and groans.
''Yeah all I have at the moment is anger, sadness and shit, people rushing around New York aren't happy at all.''
Puck laughs leaning down and kisses her cheek. ''I wouldn't be happy rushing around either B.''
''Where are the girls?'' Brittany asks curiously, Puck smiles offering her his hand and winks.
''You will find out soon, come on.'' He pulls her up as soon as she took his hand and leads her into her bedroom chuckling as he sees her looking at the clothes laid out on the bed with an eyebrow raised. ''Santana laid them out for you, she hopes you aren't to tired and told me to tell you that you will see her soon.''
''What the hell did she plan?'' Brittany asks softly as she eyes the blue off the shoulder top and black skinny jeans, Puck turns to her and raises an eyebrow. ''No I didn't forget our anniversary, I just thought that we were staying in.''
Puck chuckles turning his back to her so she can change and looks at the pictures of them with Kayla on their first weekend together in New York hung up on the wall. ''Yeah she was thinking about that too, but then she decided to do something else which I won't spoil she just hopes you aren't too tired for it.''
''Nah I am not, just a bit pissed but that will pass as soon as I see her and talking with you already calmed me down a lot.'' She turns her head to look at him and chuckles. ''You can turn around Noah.''
Puck turns around and smiles. ''You look beautiful B.'' he holds out his arm once again and smiles lovingly. ''Are you ready?''
Brittany nods her head hooking her arm through his after combing her hair and kisses his cheek as he leads her out of the room the both of them putting on their shoes. ''Thank you.'' She murmurs softly, she follows him out of their apartment raising an eyebrow as she sees a cab already waiting for them and turns to look at him. ''Where is your truck?''
''Q is driving it and we know you still don't want anyone touching your car, well no one aside from Kay and San so San called a cab for us.''
''She thought of everything didn't she?''
''Just wait and see Britt.'' Puck replies chuckling, he pulls out the scarf he grabbed out of Quinn's dresser and turns to look at her. ''You will hate me but.'' He quickly ties it around her head covering her eyes snickering as she groans loudly and waves his hand in front of her eyes smiling as she doesn't flinch and kisses her cheek. ''Only a few minutes babe.''
''I hate you.'' Brittany grumbles softly as she feels the car halt, Puck laughs handing the driver the money and helps her out of the car.
''No you don't and you will love everything B.'' He kneels down in front of her tapping her knee and smiles. ''Shoes off B.'' He grabs them as soon as she stepped out of them kicking off his own shoes and throws them into the back of his pick up, he leads her out onto the beach tightening his hold around her bicep as she stumbles and pulls her into his side. ''Easy B.''
''Are we at the beach?'' She asks softly, Puck chuckles kissing her cheek as they near the spot Santana is waiting at and pats her shoulder.
''Maybe.'' He smiles as his girlfriend walks over to them and let's go of Brittany as soon as Santana nears them, he leans down kissing her cheek and smiles. ''Have fun S and don't think too much, love you.'' He whispers so Brittany can't hear them.
Santana thanks him softly kissing their best friends cheeks and walks over to her girlfriend as they walk away from them, she leans up on her tiptoes lovingly kissing her girlfriends cheek and reaches up undoing the scarf around her head. ''Ola mi amor.''
''Hi?'' Brittany asks softly looking down at her, she bites her lip as she sees the red crop top and white skinny jeans she wears. ''Damn you look beautiful.'' She murmurs softly.
''So do you baby.'' Santana murmurs smiling lovingly, she steps back holding out her hand and nods her head to the blanket she placed down with a basket of snacks. ''Want to enjoy the sunset with me?''
Brittany nods her head taking her hand and follows her over to the blanket smiling as she easily intertwines their hands, she watches Santana open the basket after they both sat down facing the sea and smiles as she pulls out a box with sandwiches and fruit. ''What exactly do you have planned for tonight baby?'' She asks softly as she leans back on her hands basking in the late afternoon sun.
''Not much because I can see how tired you are, just some relaxing at the beach and a bit of talking Britt-Britt.''
''That sounds amazing.'' Brittany murmurs softly, she smiles as she holds out a sandwich for her and takes it immediately taking a bite.
''Hungry Britt-Britt?'' Santana asks amused as she moans softly, she smiles sliding back as she just hums and pulls her in her arms adjusting their position so Brittany is sitting in between her legs with her back against her front. ''How was class?''
''Let's talk later about that I don't want my mood to ruin our anniversary love.'' Brittany murmurs softly after popping a grape into her mouth, she turns her head nuzzling her face in her neck and sighs softly. ''How did your assignment go?''
''Got an A+ they all loved the song.'' Santana murmurs smiling lovingly, she kisses the top of her head and sighs softly. ''Thank you for helping me write it babe.''
''No need to thank me baby I knew you would rock it.'' Brittany murmurs smiling proudly, she tilts her head up kissing the underside of her jaw and sighs contently. ''Did I tell you how much I love spending time at the beach with you?''
''Once or twice and I love it too, it's relaxing and the perfect way to celebrate our third anniversary.''
''Mh amazing three years spend with you.'' Brittany whispers against the skin of her jaw, smiling slightly as she feels Santana shiver.
''Amazing indeed.'' Santana murmurs.
After ten minutes of enjoying the silence and the sounds of the waves crashing she slowly pulls back chuckling as she hears her girlfriend groan tiredly and pecks her on the lips. ''Don't fall asleep on me babe.'' She glances to the side as she sees someone walking a few feet away and smiles nervously as Kayla shoots her a thumbs up before sprinting away, she kisses her girlfriends temple softly reaching out to close the boxes and smiles. ''Will you take a walk with me?''
She stands up as she nods her head and holds out her hand, she pulls her up pecking her on the lips once again and intertwines their hands walking towards the water.
''What about our stuff?'' Brittany asks softly.
''We will walk back and clean up after our walk.'' Santana tells her smiling slightly as they walk along the shore feeling the water hit their feet, she lifts their intertwined hands up to her lips lovingly kissing the back of her hand and points at the sun with her free hand. ''The sun is setting.'' She murmurs softly.
Brittany turns her head to look at the sunset and smiles. ''Whoa the different colors always amaze me.'' She whispers amazed, Santana watches her with an adoring smile trying to cover up her trembling hands by running her thumb over the back of her hand and hums softly.
Brittany turns back to look in front of them watching the colors of the sky changing rapidly and turns her head to the right as flickering lights capture her attention, she raises an eyebrow as she sees something a few feet away from them and points at it. ''What is that?''
''I have no idea babe.'' Santana murmurs softly, she tugs on her hand walking in that direction and turns to look at her chuckles softly. ''Let's find out.''
Brittany follows her over to the flickering lights raising a confused eyebrow as she sees windproof candles lined up and stops in front of it not noticing her girlfriend letting go of her hand, she bites her lip as she sees the question the candles form and smiles lovingly. ''Looks like someone got engaged here love.'' She murmurs not noticing a small crowd near them snapping pictures of the both of them.
She turns on her heels noticing her girlfriends absence and frowns in confusion as Santana stands right behind her with a nervous smile while tightly holding onto something in her hands, Santana clears her throat nervously as she sees the clear confusion and smiles slightly.
''You know the first time we met you immediately captured my interest, you were quite closed off but still very loving and quite crazy. After a few weeks you quite literally burst completely into my life and I loved every second of it, I thought then and still do know that you are the most gorgeous, loving, dorkiest woman I ever laid my eyes on.''
Santana pauses fiddling with the box in her hands and smiles lovingly as she sees the realization dawn in blue orbs staying locked on her own. ''I knew we were meant to be the day you came back from the first football game papi invited you too and dropped into my lap falling asleep not even a minute later, you showed me so often how much you trust me but seeing the small smile on your lips and the post you wrote about your day just made my heart burst with love.''
She takes a deep breath as her soft sniffle reaches her ear and gulps trying to get the tears out of her voice as she sees one of Brittany's hands to come up covering her mouth. ''I love and respect you for everything you reached your life and am honored that I get to experience everything with you, we both have different passions but somehow they also fit really well together just like we do, we might be stubborn as hell but every discussion or fight we had just made me love you even more.''
''We both love our family and dream of having one ourselves, we dream of a beautiful house, loving kids, that our careers take off like we hope to and that our love overcomes everything that gets thrown into our path.'' She continues, she slowly kneels down showing her the little box and licks her lips as a soft sob escapes her girlfriends throat.
''I'm hoping that our dreams are coming true and to start that, I'm hoping that you will say yes to spending a lifetime with me.'' She pauses smiling lovingly as she immediately starts nodding her head, she opens the box showing her the 14k white gold solitaire engagement ring and bites her lip. ''Brittany Susan Pierce will you marry me?''
She squeaks softly as Brittany suddenly reaches down pulling her up into her arms and hums softly as she crashes their lips together, she keeps a strong hold on the little box in her hand her free hand coming up to cup her girlfriends jaw and smiles into the kiss as a mumbled yes gets breath into it.
She slowly pulls back leaning their foreheads together and smiles tearfully. ''Yes?'' She asks softly, she smiles lovingly as Brittany just nods her head and pecks her on the lips. ''I kinda want to hear you say it mi amor.''
''Yes.'' Brittany whispers softly her voice cracking as she keeps their foreheads together, she softly clears her throat and smiles brightly. ''A thousand times yes Santana Marie Lopez, of course I will marry you!'' She says again this time louder.
Santana smiles lovingly pulling back slightly and takes the ring out of the box as cheers reach their ears, she slides the ring on her left hand kissing the ring and bites her lip. ''Perfect.'' She breaths out softly, she leans up onto her tiptoes capturing her lips with her own and smiles into the kiss as she hears quick footsteps coming into their direction. ''I love you.'' She murmurs slowly pulling back.
She laughs as five bodies crash into them and smiles lovingly as she sees Puck and Kayla both hug her shocked fiance tightly. ''Damn that was beautiful mija.'' Maribel whispers into her daughters ear as she hugs her tightly. ''Congratulations baby girl.''
Santana turns in her hold kissing her cheek and smiles as her father and Quinn both join the hug. ''Thank you mami.'' She murmurs softly, she turns to Quinn after her father congratulated her and pulls her in a tight hug. ''Thank you for helping me set all of this up Q.''
''Anytime S, congratulations babe.'' Quinn murmurs kissing her cheek with a loving smile.
''Oh my god Santana that was so fucking romantic!'' Kayla gushes as she tackles her in a hug, she kisses her cheek smiling brightly and tightens her hold around her shoulders. ''Congratulations hermana, I can't imagine someone better for Flash.''
Brittany watches them smiling lovingly and stumbles back as Maribel tackles her in a hug, she immediately wraps her arms around her shoulders and sniffles. ''Hey mami.''
''Congratulations mija, you deserve all the happiness you feel right now and will feel in the future.'' Maribel tells her softly as she kisses her cheek, Brittany smiles lovingly kissing her cheek and sighs.
''Thank you mami.'' She murmurs softly.
''So my two daughters are getting married.'' Mario says smiling as he walks over to Brittany, he pulls her in a hug as soon as his wife let's go off her and kisses her cheek. ''I am so happy for the both of you, congratulations sweetie.''
''Thank you papi.'' Brittany replies smiling lovingly as she watches her fiance still hugging her sister and their best friends, she pulls back wiping away her tears and sniffles. ''Best surprise ever.''
''I am glad you think so B!'' Quinn exclaims smiling brightly, she tackles her in a hug laughing as she is caught of guard both falling down and kisses her cheek as she groans softly. ''So happy for you Britt!''
''Thank you Q.'' Brittany whispers with a bright smile, she pokes her side and laughs as she squeaks. ''Now get your fat ass off of me.''
Santana laughs walking over to them and holds her hand out smiling as Puck steps beside her to help his girlfriend up, she pulls her fiance up as soon as she grabbed her hand and pecks her on the lips.
''When will the wedding be?'' Kayla asks squealing at their cuteness, Brittany chuckles as everyone look at them curiously and locks eyes with her fiance slowly nodding her head.
''February the sixth.'' They both reply in unison turning to look at their family keeping their hands intertwined, Puck tilts his head in confusion as he hears their family squeal and raises an eyebrow.
''Why that date?''
''It's the day that Santana asked me out on a date.'' Brittany explains locking eyes with her best friend, she chuckles as she sees the realization dawn in on him and turns to her fiance lifting their intertwined hands up to her mouth. ''One of the best days in my life.'' She murmurs as she kisses the back of her hand.
She looks up as a flash blinds her and squints at her sister rolling her eyes as she smiles sheepishly holding up her camera. ''How the hell did you get my camera?''
Kayla nods her head to Puck and giggles. ''Puck managed to bring it with him when he brought you to the beach.'' She walks over to her sister holding it out and smiles lovingly. ''We all know you were struggling with the assignment you got so we took pictures of everything, I am sure you have every emotion you had to capture on the pictures sis.''
''Are you serious?'' Brittany asks shocked taking the camera from her sister, Kayla nods her head and smiles lovingly.
''Yes we are and don't worry you can use the pictures, Santana talked to your professor before she combined that idea with her original plan and he told her that you can use those pictures because those emotions will be genuine and beautiful.''
''You are perfect you know that?'' Brittany asks softly turning to her fiance, Santana shrugs her shoulders and smiles lovingly.
''I will try everything to make you happy mi amor and I know you like to capture other people's emotions on camera but your own are just as amazing.''
''I love you.'' Brittany breaths out smiling lovingly, Santana pulls her closer by their intertwined hands and leans up on her tiptoes pecking her on the lips.
''And I love you fiance.''
