~Coco pov~
Now I know how that man from planet 602 felt when I asked him all those questions. When we got in the limo the ladies let all their questions fly. Mother and father took another limo with Mr. Leo.
Ms. Bo had stayed behind to watch the baby. "Does it feel weird?" "Hm, at first it was, now I'm pretty comfortable."
"You could have told me men's clothes felt weird on you," Cus said with a cute pout. "Sorry. I didn't realize how uncomfortable it was until I was getting dress."
"So, is this something I can do also?" Clover asked coy. "Yes," I replied with a nod.
"ha-ha! Vados watch yourself." Vados looked shocked before turning to me. "Don't teach her that!"
"Oh, no princess. It's too late." Clover said with a joyful look in her eyes.
The limo pulled in front of the empty shop. "Wow. This place was super packed yesterday. There was even had a line wrapped around the building." The rest of us mumbled in agreement and got out.
My nose crinkled up as I looked around the shop. "Hi welcome to "Happily ever after" I'm Ava Miss Haddy's assistance. Feel free to look around until Miss Haddy arrives." (Something smells gross. Like apples that have been sitting in the sun and they were left to rot.)
"Yoo-hoo! Anyone home?" I had zoned out. I shook my head "I just remembered something." Clover looked at me concerned. "The council's anniversary is today."
"Y-you remembered I was going to say something b-but um." I place my hand on cream's shoulder to ease them. "How about we go to dinner to celebrate. I highly doubt we will have time to after the vacation."
"Will it just be the council?" Daichi asked curiously. "I can't imagine having dinner without Whis." "So, a couple's dinner? Wonderful, let's just all wear wedding dresses to dinner." Sweet said while eyeballing the wedding shop.
"We have another part of the shop that sells clothes not dedicated to weddings." Ava offered. Leo seems to step up out of nowhere. "Please show me this area." The poor assistance blush and nods.
"Right this way."
Everyone seems to wander around while I sat on the plush couch. Mom and dad sat next to me and had their own conversation. (It's not Ava who smells like that.) I thought while looking at the silent sales lady who was observing everyone. Her eyes were green literally and figuratively. I just need to test something. I open my purse and pulled out the pretty iridescent ring box. I made a show out of taking it out and snapping the box shut. (the ring was a cute apology gift from Whis. Apparently, he asked Ms. Bo what else can he do to make it up.) I could feel her eyes burn into the side of my skull and the sickening smell of rotten apples grown stronger.
I place the ring on my finger and I swear she blew a gasket. (Bo and Leo smell like apples but not rotten. They always smell like fresh-cut apples. Then again, I've never been able to correctly label the tuffle hybrid and namekian.)
"If it isn't my favorite family." I looked over and smiled. Miss Haddy is actually very friendly when she isn't smacking the hell out of my calf for moving. She has visions of the future and she found a way to make money by crafting people's dream wedding dress. She caught the eyes of royalty a long time ago and with her dresses.
"It's so great to see you again Miss Haddy."
"You don't look like you've aged a day Daichi."
"And you don't look a day over 35," Father replied smoothly. Haddy chuckled. "Trying to butter me up for a discount?"
"Is it working?"
"I'll have my assistant give you 45 percent for today."
"You're too kind." She chuckled again. Then set her sight on me. "You're going to make me work hard today."
"S-sorry," I replied sitting up straighter. "Save your apologies, because of you I've discovered old resources I forgot I had." Clover touches my shoulder causing me to tense and look back at her.
"S-sorry, I was just letting you know Leo came back. Do you want me to pick out a dress for you?"
"Yes please." Miss Haddy mumbled and I swear I could hear her say "you're all going to put me to work." Clover left but not before glancing at the silent green-eyed lady. She tensed for a second before giving Clover a tense smile. A vast difference from the too happy smile she gave everyone when we first came in.
"Agatha"
"yes, ma'am."
"Take your lunch break early."
"B-but," Agatha quickly looked around before sighing in defeat. "Yes ma'am." She disappeared somewhere in the back and I felt my body relax. Miss Haddy sat on the couch across from me and stared into my soul. "Don't make a mess on my sales floor." She grunted out of nowhere "Y-yes ma'am." I quickly replied not wanting to upset her. (I'll keep that in mind.)
"Oh, calm down I'm not that bad. I'm just a little rough around the edges. My granddaughter can attest to that. Ava waved innocently to me. "It's funny that you are the judge. You are a vast difference from the last judges. You're quiet although you have a lot to say. You're calculated and smarter than you look." (Thanks. I guess?) "All traits I wish the last few judges had. It Would have made these meet up much better with their fiancée."
~No pov~
"My point for bringing all of that up is because I know you have been planning out your wedding ever since you started to dream about your partner."
Ava gasped. "T-that's embarrassing grandma. Y-you can't just-"
"Is that true Coco?" Honey asked me a little shocked. "Yes," Coco admit with no shame. "Smart girl, I only know this because you have been popping in my visions more than once. If you don't mind, I want to see the page you have for your portrait wedding dress. I want to see if my visions are still accurate." Miss Haddy said with a smirk.
Coco reached into her purse and pulled out a personal golden journal. "I'll trade you. Ava, please go get the book." Ava took off quickly and return in a flash with a thick and heavy black book. "This book is where I keep my predictions. Every wedding dress I have made and will make. Hell, if I die. I have enough predictions for generations to pass." She flips the book open to a certain page and passes it to Coco.
Coco passes her journal to Haddy and gasp after looking at the page. "This is?"
"That's your grandmother. Beautiful as the golden evenings on your planet."
"I can see why he was in love with her," Coco mumbled remembering what the grand priestess told her. "She got married in the winter?"
"A heavy layered white ballgown. She looked as pure as the snow." Haddy reached out and flip the page. "Your mother was the complete opposite. She wore something light, flowy, and sexy for her summer wedding." She flips the page again and Coco's eyebrows raised in confusion. The picture looked like it was covered in fog.
"Your cousin will pick spring. It will rain while the sun is still shinning." "I have a cousin?" Haddy winks at Coco. "Think of this reveal as a wedding gift." Coco smiled and nods in excitement.
"Now let's get to this fitting. I'm an old woman who needs her beauty naps." She motions for her granddaughter who softly took my hand. "Please come with me." Coco follows with Leo following close behind.
Once they were gone Haddy sight heavy while flipping through Coco's journal. "Did you know she was slowly revitalizing her planet?"
"Yes, the higher mother doesn't hesitate to tell me when Coco does something. I think her long-term goal is to finish rebuilding her family's old home."
"Do you think that's where her breakdown steams from?" Honey nods "she realizes she was rebuilding a big place and was going to be alone in it if Whis... falls asleep."
"Poor girl. She's as dramatic as her real father." Haddy mumbled I her native tongue. She closes the tiny book and looks at the couple. "She's not going to take it well."
"I know, I've seen," Honey admits squeezing her husband's hand. "Heaven and hell have never been so scared." Ava steps out from the back with a bright smile. "The bride is ready for you to view her portrait dress."
(AN: I do have a picture of her dress on my archive and wattpad account. A lot of the chapters have pictures)
Coco steps out and was immediately pounced on by Honey
"Oh, that hairpiece is just too cute!" Dashi was amazed it was like looking at the pass. If he didn't know any better, he swore he was looking at jazz. He shook his head and retrieve his wife.
"Ok honey, let the poor girl breath. Leo retrieved Cus from the other side of the shop to make the appointment flow easy and Cus immediately took her mom's place once she laid eyes on Coco.
"Oh, my gods! You look amazing! Like a golden delight! Oh, wait! is this your wedding dress!?" Cus quickly closes her eyes.
"W-wait it's ok Cus. This isn't the dress." She opens her eyes and smiled brightly "Whew, for a second I thought I ruined it."
"So, I take it everything is to your liking?" Ava asked looking at everything. "I don't have on the heavy crown but it's still gorgeous regardless." She nods then help Coco down from the small platform. "Please follow me and we will get you two in your dresses for adjustments and fittings." The three women disappear with Leo in tow.
The silence made the showroom of the bride's shop feel peaceful. "Well, I'm going to take my leave now. Please be nice to my shop."
Honey let a small sigh loose. She had confessed everything that morning when her husband asked. He forgave her but she still felt horrible and helpless. No matter how many times her mother-in-law erased her memories, she always remembers Coco.
How can she forget the birth of the adorable godly baby she helped deliver? Coco is much older than her friends and has had her memories played with by me for her safety. (I am so sorry Coco.)
~Honey's pov~
A sudden poke to my side causes me to squeak and look at the culprit. "Our soul tune is sounding like the soundtrack of a mystery film." I look away with guilt still on my face.
"Honey, I forgive you; this isn't your fault. You're just trying to protect everyone. If anyone should be upset it should be me." I raised an eyebrow at that last bit. "I'm an idiot for not knowing why you were always relapsing into sadness."
"There is no way you would have known."
"I should have, my wife was sad so many times and I didn't question it because mother always intervene and said to let you mourn. I'm sorry." I felt my heart flutter. Saying sorry is a hard thing for him to do. I figured that out before our first therapy session. The sudden need to be intimate was tremendous so I press my lips to his. The stress from earlier melt away as he deepens the kiss. Our impromptu makeout session came to a halt when a cough caught our attention. It's that green-eyed girl that Clover stared down. The smell of rotten apples was strong. I knew she was a sin, but she's no threat. So, she's probably a replacement for the old sin.
"We will be revisiting this moment again," Dashi whispered to me. (Well that something to look forward to.)
The girl places a tea set down and walked over to the front door and unlock it.
"So Whis, you ready to be a father?" Mojito asked jokingly. "What!?" Whis asked with fear and confusion.
"I'm not even married yet! What are you talking about!?"
"It's too late little bro. Coco caught the baby." Mojito said with a smug smile. "That's just nonsense you guys made up." Whis fired back.
"What is?" Mochi asked concerned. "If your spouse catches one of our mothers' baby. They're going to be pregnant next." Camparri said with an amused look.
"It's nonsense." Whis huffed out.
"It's true. Remember lady Pea couldn't get pregnant for the longest time so she hung around mom. And when mom gave birth unexpectedly lady Pea caught the baby." Mojito tried to keep a straight face while retelling the story.
"She was pregnant a week later," Korn said with a wink and elbowing Whis. Whis looked lost before Bo scoff loud enough to gain their attention.
"You guys leave Whis alone."
" Mitsu! Dashi! So good to see you two!" Yoshito said with a tight smile while sitting himself onto the couch across from the power couple.
"It's good to be seen," Dashi replied bitterly while eyeing the couple. Mainly Rosa who he warned to stay away. Honey giggled a little and elbow her husband gently. "What my husband means to say is. What brings you two here during our private appointment?"
"You're always a delightful beauty Hachimitsu. Agatha, pour the tea. We are here to talk business."
~Did this idiot just give himself away~ Honey asked Dashi through their bond.
~I'm surprised you forgot how stupid he is.~ Dashi replied.
~He didn't even hesitate to yell her name.~
"Business? Honey asked waving off the girl who tried to offer her tea. About what?"
Rosa scoff "That tragedy you call a student."
"The only thing that's a tragedy is the bangs you're wearing right now." Honey shot back. Dashi smirked before taking one of his wife's hand in his. "So far business isn't sounding too good."
"Rosa, hush," Yoshito said quickly reprimanding his wife. Rosa growled while staring Honey down. Honey smirked causing Rosa to bite her lip. "The high social circles have been whispering about how they feel about Coco being in charge of the Council."
"And?"
Yoshito chuckled. "Do you honestly think one woman can handle that much power? She needs a man to rule beside her." Honey giggled and her smirk widened. "Oh, please continue. Tell me your solution to this problem I am desperately having."
"Since everyone knows you are her mother figure, they feel it's unfair that she goes to your son. She's proper royalty and didn't have a ball to find a husband."
"I'm pretty positive Coco would still pick Whis even if she had to do a ball, but continue."
"How about we do a little switch."
"Switch?"
"Coco can marry my son and Whis can marry my daughter. Stronger family bonds."
"No."
"good I don't want that in my family bloodline. She's tainted by you." Rosa snark.
"You're worried about how Coco is taught but not worried about how inbred your family tree is." Agatha stumbled almost dropping the teapot.
"You should priority your issues better~"
"You bitch!" Rosa yelled quickly standing up.
"Rosa!" Yoshito yelled pulling her back into her seat.
"Well, it looks like this meeting was a failure. But since you're here we need to discuss something important." Daichi said addressing Yoshito coldly.
Yoshito fumbled for a second not wanting to go toe to toe. "I- um. Oh look, Coco has joined us." Dashi lightly squeezed his wife's hand and she squeezed back.
"Coco?" Honey asked without looking back. "Yes ma'am?"
"Be honest, how much did you hear?"
"She called me tainted and you called her inbred."
"How about she comes and sit with us. I've got a question to ask her."
"If it's the same question from earlier-"
"relax it's not." Honey sigh but gently spoke, "Coco, please come join us." Coco sat on Honey's right side feeling uncomfortable from the stares she received from the couple across from her.
"Since my first offer was rejected, I have another one just for you princess."
"Queen" Coco quickly corrected trying not to make a disgusted face. Yoshito chuckled and held his hands up "ha-ha just a term of endearment." Rosa scoffed
"If you were really royalty material you would know it's bad manners to put your hands on a princess."
"Hmm, remind me your family's name?" Coco asked innocently.
"Suda" Rosa said with a smug smile.
"Hmm, no I don't remember that name have a significant prince or princess," Coco answered with a yawn.
"You little b-"
"Rosa!" Yoshito growled. "Mr. Suda. Please tell me why you're really here. Your daughter and son have been ruining my vacation with their presence. Everywhere I look they have desperately tried to make themselves known." Coco placed a finger to her bottom lip and pretend to think about it.
"Could it be that you or your kids have been trying to find me and corner me alone?" Yoshito sigh and held his hands up. "You caught me." He said with a fake smile.
"Since your "mother," said no to you marrying my son how about your cousin take your place?" Yoshito asked with a smug smile. "I don't know what you're talking about," Coco replied with a relaxed face.
*********Warning little gore*********
"She does! she was in the dressing room mumbling about a girl nam- ACK!"
Agatha stood there feeling cold before she slowly reaches for her neck. Once she touches it, she looked at Coco's back in fear. "Please" she whimpered out before gargling on her own blood and her head fell off her standing body in a clean cut.
*********it's over*********
"You have raised a devil child!" Rosa cries out while standing from her seat. Yoshito stared at the gory scene and rub his neck before looking back at Coco who had an unimpressed look on her face.
"Don't ever bring her up if you value your life." A crack in the ground opens big enough to clean the mess.
"You killed an innocent." Rosa roared not taking her eyes off Coco
"She's not innocent. Not smelling like that." Coco replied coldly.
"This is why you need a man to-"
"You know I get really tired of you insecure men trying to tell me what to do. You don't even know me personally. Here's a little fun fact, I'm really petty and I've decided to never give up my position until I die, and guess how long that's going to be." Coco's question was met with silence from Yoshito.
"Stop guessing you'll be gone, but if you don't leave me alone, I will make sure you will never know peace. I will rebirth you over and over so you can witness my rulings."
the sound of footsteps permeated the tense showroom until they stop next to the grand priest. "I made golden apple tea for the family to enjoy while you wait," Leo spoke cutting the tension.
"Plain for the master and two teaspoons of honey of the mistress," he explained while holding the tray out. "And for the judge steeped twice for a stronger taste." Coco grabs the teacup and pretty plate then looked back to the wide-eyed couple.
"You're dismissed."
Rosa looked at Coco with anger "Why yo-"
"I suggest you take my dismissal with a grain of salt and go. if you ruin my sister-in-law fitting, I'll cast you to the worst ring of hell." Yoshito stood up quickly, grab Rosa, and left. leaving the shop quiet.
"Coco?"
"Yes, Leo" "Master Whis called you a few seconds ago. He left a message." Coco looked over interested. "He wanted to ask you something important?" Coco gasp softly and stuttered.
"I-I'll go call him back." Leo held out the tray and Coco place the delicate teacup on the tray before disappearing.
"She can take a head off clean but still fumbled when talking to Whis."
"It's adorable." Honey replied getting closer to her husband. "You think that's adorable. maybe I'll take a head off clean and put it in a box for you."
Honey gasp playfully. "If it's Rosa's head then I'll get down on one knee and I'll propose to you." "But we are already married," Daichi replied with a small chuckle. "I would marry you again."
Daichi shook his head. "All jokes aside. She's going to need more training. Especially if she's breaking down those mental barriers." Honey nods in agreement. "Let me take her off your hands." Honey choked on her tea for a second. "Y-you want Coco?"
"Once she uses her brain at one hundred percent, we're going to have to find a way to rope her back in."
"You think she's not loyal?"
"Well, she did lie about how long she was listening to the conversation."
"And that's enough for you to pin her as a liar?"
"Calm down mother bear. She has a great foundation for her mother figure. I just want to lend a hand."
"And be a father figure?" Honey hand Leo the empty teacup and sighs. "Ok fine."
~Coco pov~
I was standing behind the counter in the other shop and blushing madly.
"You're so quite over the phone Coco. Did I actually get you hot and bothered revealing my fantasy you?" I pant for a second. "Y-you jerk."
"How am I being a jerk?" He said with a light breathy laugh. "Y-you aren't here to help relieve me after you got me started," I whispered not wanting anyone to hear me.
"I can just imagine how you look right now. You're squeezing your thighs together to find some type of relief and you're pouting." I stop moving shocked that he got it right. "How about this princess. If you're a good girl and you don't touch yourself. I'll let you do whatever you want."
"R-really!?" I asked excitedly.
"Yes princess, Now what do we say?" I felt my blush reach my ear. "T-thank you, daddy." He chuckled.
" You're welcome, princess." We hung up and I bury my face in my hands. "He's the only person who can get away with calling me princess."
"You let that jerk off get away alive." I turned around and saw Clover with a familiar look in her eyes. She motions for my hand and I held it out. She gently held my wrist and pulled out a handkerchief.
"How did it feel to kill a sin? I bet you feel like the higher mother." Clover panted with a heavy blush. She took her time under each nail. "You could tell when we came in?"
"Yes, that ugly hue of green is just begging to be snuffed out," Clover said with a low moan. She finished cleaning and rub her cheek with the back of my fingers. "I can just imagine you opening up the worst part of lower hell and watch as the sinners scream in pain as they're drag in and swallowed whole."
"They have been swarming around us like annoying flies," I admit thinking about it. "They are getting close and too comfortable. They touch Vados and I'll keep their heart in a jar." I giggled. "Careful Clover your blood lust is showing." She snapped back to normal and let go of my hand.
"I-I'm sorry, please forgive me." I waved away her apology. "No need to apologize friend."
"So, what are we going to do? Are we going to take them out quite with no mercy, or in a glorious blaze of fire?"
"The first option." Clover frowns and her body slumped. "Why not the second?"
"Because all the snooty people we meet at the ball will try to use it against me. The men are so eager to replace me." Clover scoffs and crosses her arms. "Fucking trash, all of them. I'm glad my home planet only uses them for breeding." Clover said with no remorse. (Sometimes I forget that Clover comes from an all-woman planet. They lure men in only so they can get pregnant then kick them out. It took her a long time to respect the men on the Council)
"I have a feeling they are going to try their first move soon. As soon as they pounce. We will have our clear and unarguable reason to take out all of the sins."
"I'm so excited! Oh, by the way, I finished picking out an outfit for you for dinner tonight."
"Excellent. I have a phone call to make."
