Bible Teaching

Matthew 9:18 -38 + God of Three persons.

Welcome Brothers and Sisters to another Bible Teachings, we will once again continue in Matthew chapter 9 and discuss details of what Jesus did at the time. Here we have Jesus preforming many miracles that couldn't be done by normal man. For Jesus was no man, yet he still is as Christ Jesus came for a purpose by our Heavenly Father. And just to refresh some who are confused why I speak as Jesus, God and other terms in the same god and persons. To understand this, you must first know that Jesus is Son of God, the second of the 3 persons which some of you know as holy trinity from others that spoke of Jesus. This is because it's the truth, Christ Jesus is one and the same of God. Yet he is second person of God as we call Son of God, his begotten son. He was there from the beginning and has remained unchanged to this present day and in his days on earth.

Along with Lord Jesus there is our Heavenly Father, who is our only father in spirit. There maybe people who tell you of more the one God, there is no God only evolution, or say there is goddess or something of the sorts. But let this truth sink in that only one God exist, yet he is describe as three persons. God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now you notice the last one isn't mention as much, yet is still a gentle spirit that can be obtain to this day. This is because when Jesus died on the cross, rose again and gave his command to his disciples to spread his teachings and good news to the world. They were the first to receive the Holy Spirit, now understand that this Holy Spirit is not just one, in fact those who commit themselves as Followers of Christ/Christians, Saints, and believers of Jesus can obtain the Holy Spirit in all of us that truly believe in faith, trust and love of God.

On our own, our strength, will, mind, heart, and soul will fail. This is the absolute truth as we on our own can never achieve anything and our works will be in vain by seeking our own ways. Its' even describe that our own works without God is like filthy rags that you try to clean, wash or scrub for daily chores, yet this will fail as the rag you used is filthy because of Sin. This thing known as sin, is the great divided of ourselves to God and how our lives can lead to destruction without God. For many years before Christ Jesus, the reasons for killing lambs, burnt offerings and sacrifice has been used to cover our sins. Israel has had the means to cover their sins among all nations, yet they chose living in sin and darkness, even worse teach of false ways and gods that shouldn't have been taught. When Jesus came he is the blood sacrifice for our sins and has truly covered all of our sins from past, present and future.

This along with the Holy Spirit provided to us, allows God to work in us, mold us, change us for not only our benefit, but to worship the Lord and serve in his ways. The Holy Spirit isn't just given to one or two people, God is freely given this to anyone that seeks him and obey his commands with fear of the Lord, love for his instructions, warnings and all forms of teaching, and most importantly living by example as doers of his will. Folks I speak this to understand that while I may say Lord Jesus, Heavenly father and Holy Spirit in different names, I say them because it's truth and there is truly one God, yet he comes in three persons. Confusing yes, but must be accepted as only Lord Jesus can give salvation to our lives and worshiping him alone is what we should do everyday. Now I won't say we don't make mistake, because of our sins it will hinder us all the way and only God can make our lives better, seek him and be willing in fellowship with other believers. For God didn't make us to be alone, if Adam didn't have Eve or how many brothers and sisters, family and friends weren't here to support each other, we wouldn't be where we are today. Fellowship with other Christians, Saints and Believers is important to our souls and to keeping his words at heart. But be warns of false teachers who may sound like Christians, Saints or Believers, yet if they go against the word of God, know they don't speak truth or try to give only half truths without the full truth. Trust only in the word that God speaks in the Bible, it's the most reliable source for knowing what God is saying to you everyday.

Rise of the Dead Girl and Healing the Sick Woman

In Matthew 9:18-26, we are introduce to someone known as a Synagogue leader. Here he asked Jesus to heal his daughter from dying, Jesus agrees and follows him towards his home, at the same time we are also introduce to a Sick Woman who is ill from a disease that couldn't be cured. When she heard of Jesus, she wanted to at least only touch him and to be healed. Now to understand what is happening, first you have to understand that many people with these illness or disease weren't common knowledge as it is today. In our age we are fortunate enough to not to doctors who study these illness to find cures, but also how God is able to provide people to help the sick and unfortunate of today. Here we have a sick woman who wants to at least be healed by touching Jesus cloak once, and in that instant is healed because of this and Jesus tells the woman saying, "Take heart daughter, your faith have healed you." In other parts of the bible of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The story is retold in another perspective and how it happen. In those sections we have been told that the sick woman has lived for 12 years of bleeding, this is a serious case and has no cure from other doctors or physicians. At this point she has given up only to hear that Jesus can heal those of sickness, demon possessed and amazing words of wisdom. Yet despite this she didn't want people to take notice and just simply accepted that at least one touch is enough to heal her wounds. Even though she felt ashamed of herself, the fact her faith in Jesus is great showed what Christ Jesus can do for our lives when we give complete faith and trust in him.

The same thing is told at the same time when after Jesus had healed the sick woman, the Synagogue's daughter had died but by Jesus words says she's not dead but asleep. Anyone would be mad at Jesus for his disrespect for the dead, when you have someone that can heal all sickness, cast out demon possessed man, teaching words of wisdom that isn't heard before, or even cause miracles known and unknown to people. You can't truly say he couldn't do anything, yet their lack of faith is shown here and shows the constant difference between the woman who has great faith and the people who didn't. Yet despite this Jesus showed that anyone can be filled with life when they place their trust in him. That no death or sin can contain anyone or be cast aside so long as you believe in him.

Workers are few

From Matthew 9:27-34, the same here happens of many times Jesus continues to show miracles and many religious leaders still deny Jesus and what who he' is. You have to imagine if Jesus came on this earth the first time in this age, how many would believe him as Son of God or anything he has done? Most simple answer is very few would believe and how what Jesus does on his ministry many will deny, reject or try to prove they are right and Christ Jesus is wrong. This amount of deny from the Pharisees and Scribes shows any of us can fall the same if we aren't careful in casting aside our pride and our selfish ways. From the end of Chapter 9 at verses 34-38 we then are given details about how Jesus feels towards the people and how he see many of them seeking and asking for help from him. Making Jesus compassionate towards them, even saying how even in our times about what he experience, "The Harvest is Plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the Harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest fields. This is describing how many people in this world are helpless and wanting to be saved both in public and in secret. As fellow Christians, Saints and Believers while we are saved, it's also our obeyed command from Jesus to seek others, minister the good news and make disciples of them.

I must confess, that didn't sink in when first being saved. Yet as time progress in last year God change the way I thought and now I have ministered in his name for your sakes and to spread the good news in Jesus name. If there is anything wrong with what is said or needs corrected I encourage you as fellow Christians, Saints and Believers to charge me and help straighten my ways either by prayer or speaking to one another in private if you can. For all of us must live by God's way and show great holiness, peace of mind, joy in his fulfilling spirit, along with other qualities from God. Encouraging one another is a must for our fellowship in serving our Lord Jesus, while there are people who aren't social in community or public interactions, your not alone. For I am anti-social individual for a long time, yet what Christ Jesus has been doing is changing this attitude for the better and help me grow in spirit. Our Lord Jesus can do the same for you, question is for many folks, are you willing?
