Chapter 36: Warp Gates
A hand emerged from the inky black warp gate, slowly revealing a man that had shaggy powder blue hair that wore a disembodied hand.
"Villains," Hitoshi hissed, and Izuku subtly stepped in front of him; eyes dark.
"What's that," Kirishima asked as he leaned forward, trying to get a better look as more people stepped out of the warp gate.
"Is this apart of the lesson," Kaminari asked as he scooted towards Izuku and Hitoshi; feeling much safer closer to his friends.
"Don't move," Aizawa ordered, and the students near him flinched.
"Those people are villains," Izuku finished, and Hitoshi noticed a slight echo of William's voice layered with Izuku's.
Aizawa grunted in agreement while he put on his googles, and Izuku transformed into his animatronic form.
The class gasped when a ginormous black monstrosity walked through the warp gate, and William began to curse.
"Brat, stay alert," William said. "If you get overwhelmed, we'll take control. But, stay safe."
Izuku nodded, completely serious.
"Protect each other," William said.
"We will," Izuku said.
"Eraserhead and Thirteen, eh," a voice hummed and Izuku focused on it, hands clenched. "The teacher's schedule we received the other day said that Allmight was supposed to be here."
Izuku gasped, and William hissed, "I knew it! The press was a distraction!"
"Where is he," the voice hissed annoyed. "I went through the trouble of bringing this whole crowd too. I can't believe he's not here! I wonder...Do you think he'll come if we kill some kids?"
The man dressed in hands chuckled darkly. But, unlike with Will, it was unhinged and evil. Izuku could feel the madness radiating off the man from where he stood.
"Zuku," Hitoshi whispered as he stepped closer to his friend.
"Don't worry," Izuku said, his voice surprisingly steady. "We can handle it."
Hitoshi's subtle shaking stopped, and the teen steadied himself. He trusted William and Springtrap. Plus, they had two pro heroes with them.
"Right," the violet and red haired teen said.
Thirteen stood in front of the students as the rest of the class panicked.
"No way," Mina said in disbelief. "It's not possible, right? Villains? In UA? There's no way they could have got into a hero school...right?"
"Sensei," Yaoyorozu said as she turned to Aizawa. "What about the intruder alarms?"
"We have them of course, but..." Thirteen said worriedly as they trailed off.
"Did they only appear here, or around the whole school," Todoroki asked, and something about his posture was...off; though Izuku was too focused on the immediate threat to question it. "Either way, if the sensors aren't responding, that means they have someone with a quirk that can do that. An isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when the class is supposed to be here? They may be fools, but they're not idiots. The surprise attack was carefully planned with some sort of goal in mind."
Hitoshi looked at the dual haired teen in surprise. That explanation sounded like something William and Izuku would say...
"Thirteen, start the evacuation," Eraserhead ordered. "These villains even countered our sensors! It's possible someone's quirk is interfering. Kaminari, try to contact the school with your quirk!"
"Yes, sensei," the blonde teen said.
"What about you, sensei," Hitoshi asked worriedly. "You're fighting style is more suited to ambush and capture. Even if you can erase all their quirks..."
"You can't be a hero with only one trick," Eraserhead told the violet haired teen, trying to be reassuring in his gruff way. "I'm leaving it to you, Thirteen."
However, before he leapt over the railing, he gave Izuku a look. It was like he was asking William to protect his students as well.
For a moment, they just watched Eraserhead tear through the cannon fodder. His scarves were flying through the air like bullets and his hair floated dramatically behind him.
"Come on, brat," William gently nudged him. "We got to trust him."
Izuku nodded and tapped Hitoshi and Kaminari lightly on the arm. He quirked his lips in a small smirk to reassure the two, and led them towards the entrance door, snapping Thirteen and the rest off the class out of their shock.
However, before they could get to the entrance, the warp gate appeared before them.
In the back of his mind, Springtrap growled.
"I won't let you leave," the mist covered man said in a dark—yet weirdly polite—monotone.
A low growl spilled out of Izuku's lips.
"Nice to meet you," the warp quirk user said. "We are the League of Villains. It may be presumptous of us, but we have invited ourselves into the home of the heroes in order to have the Symbol of Peace, Allmight, take his last breath. I believe he should have been here. Has there been some kind of change?"
One of Thirteen's fingers popped off as they prepared to suck in the warp gate. Izuku and William tensed as they prepared to shout out a warning. That's not a good idea with this villain. They could redirect the pro's attack anywhere!
However, before the pro could make a deadly mistake, two students made another stupid decision. Bakugou and Kirishima rushed at the warp gate, and Bakugou sent out an explosion.
"Oh dear," the warp gate said, and they all stiffened in anticipation. "That's dangerous. Even if you are students, you are excellent golden eggs."
The warp gate user then created several portals and multiple people were caught. Izuku could feel himself falling through the floor. He could hear Hitoshi call out for him, and he tried to reach out for him. However, the warp gate was too strong, and all he could see was black.

"Zuku," Hitoshi screamed in terror as his best friend(s) was sucked into the black portal.
However, before he could panic further, he fell into a portal of his own.
It was cold, dark, and he felt like he was being squeezed through a tube. Hitoshi was relieved that he only fell through it for what felt like a few seconds because it was suffocating.
Well, at least at first he was.
When he finally left that dark hole, he hit a large body of water, knocking the air out from him. He almost coughed out in pain, but he forced himself to hold the rest of his breath. His lungs were burning from the effort, but doing anything else would cause him to drown.
Hitoshi started to kick himself to the surface. In the corner of his eyes, he saw a dark shape.
Hitoshi tensed.
Was it a villain?
He kicked faster. His lungs were burning, and he didn't have a lot of time before his body would force him to breathe.
"Here he comes," a voice said, and Hitoshi looked to his left to see a villain with a shark quirk poised to attack. "I don't have anything against you, but see ya!"
Right before he was attacked, Tsu hoisted him into the air by her tongue.
"Toshi, kero," the frog quirked girl yelled as she started to bring him toward the boat.
Hitoshi sighed in relief as looked down, only to see Kirishima sinking as he fought off a villain.
"Oh, hell," Hitoshi whispered.
If Kirishima didn't drop his hardening, he would drown.
Not even thinking about it, Hitoshi forced Tsu to release him and plunged back into the water. He swam as fast as he could to reach the naive teen, who didn't seem to realize that he was going to drown soon.
Luckily, Kirishima had forced the villain back for the moment. Kirishima then tried to swim up, but he was too heavy and continued to sink. Kirishima stroked and kicked faster to the same effect.
Now, the red head was panicking.
When Hitoshi finally reached him, Kirishima was already stuggling to breathe.
Hitoshi mentally cursed and grabbed onto the teen and started to swim as fast as he could. He was extremely grateful that the red headed boy's quirk wasn't activated any more.
Once they reach the surface, Hitoshi screamed for Tsu. She shot her tongue in their direction and he sighed in relief.
Then he was dragged under, and Tsu screamed in panic.
He looked down and he saw the shark quirked villain grinning up at him. Hitosh's eyes narrowed and he kicked him squarely in the nose, instantly breaking it. The man screamed and Hitoshi raced for the surface.
However, another black figure was heading quickly for the still unconscious passenger in his arms. Thinking quickly, Hitoshi twisted around and he felt his back rip open painfully as he was hit with the villain's serrated nose.
Hitoshi cried out, but forced himself to keep swimming up. He was close to the surface now, but his lungs were burning and he felt light headed from the blood loss.
He could feel his body weakening.
"Zuku, Will, Spring, Inko," he thought weakly, and he wondered if he'd ever see them again...
0000000
Izuku huffed in pain as he landed on asphalt.
"Great," he though. "Where am I?'
He started to move to his feet and cursed the rain obscuring his vision.
Wait! Rain?!
That's when he noticed that the springlocks were loosening...
