Chapter 36

Percy of the Caribbean

I couldn't help but smile as I stepped down from the railing of the back of the ship. My new hat settled on my head nicely as I felt my will reaching throughout the entire ship. I knew which ropes to hoist, which sails to raise and everything. It was just like the lifeboat except on a much larger scale and somehow just a little bit easier.

"Well that was fun." I lean over the edge of the railing, looking down at everyone else with a grin on my face. "Never thought that I would steal a pirate ship."

"I never thought that I would lead to the destruction of an island." Lou grinned. "Although I guess I can cross being a part of a pirate raid off my bucket list. I even left with some souvenirs." Lou then proceeded to lift her dress up, showing her legs up to the knee. I was about to say something until a large pile of books seemed to fall out of…somewhere from within the skirt of her dress. "Stole a lot of books on magic and research materials that C.C. had on hand."

"Where were you hiding that?" Clarisse asked the question that was on everyone's mind. Lou however was too engrossed skimming through each book and just ignored her.

"Anyways—" I was about to speak again until I was interrupted.

"Actually, I've been meaning to ask," Beckendorf spoke up for the first time since we left the island. "Who's the pretty girl?"

I groan as the heat spread to my cheeks in embarrassment. My face is buried in my hands as I lament my past choices for the umpteenth time.

"Believe it or not the girl is actually our resident fish brained son of Poseidon." Annabeth huffed.

Beckendorf looked at me with an analytical look. The kind that I've seen him use a thousand times before when looking over a project. Taking in every detail as if comparing two paintings. "There's a story here…I'm just…trying to figure it out."

I let out a small sigh before once again going into my rehearsed story. Starting with the separation then going to my trip to Atlantis, followed by the crapfest that was my trip to the trench and my eventual escape.

By the time that I finished my story the sun had set below the horizon and the stars had settled in the sky. With a little extension of will, the lanterns around the ship lit up providing light to the deck. I personally didn't need it, but they did.

"That's one Hades of a story." Beckendorf scratched the back of his head as he took it all in.

"I've heard it before, and I still can't believe some of it." Clarisse said before looking at me. "Hey Prissy, you know where you're going?"

"The coordinates 30, 31, 75, 12." I responded as I willed the ship to turn a bit to the right. "We should be there by tomorrow."

"And how do you know that?" Annabeth raised a brow at me. "Another goddess helped you?"

"Hestia actually." I said with a smile, making her frown. "She gave me coordinates for the destination. Didn't really know where they went until we undocked and hit open ocean."

"And how could you know where it is?"

"Oh, oh, I know the answer to that!" Lou spoke up like a student that knew the answer. "Persephone," Gods dammit. "Has this power that lets her control boats and know where she is in the ocean at all times."

"And with that little tidbit out of the way," I try to ignore the fact that Lou was probably going to refer to me by the female alias I made up from now on. "It's been a long day. All of you to bed, captains' orders." I said as walked down the stairs and was standing next to them.

"Whoa, whoa hold the fuck up!" Lou spoke up just as Beckendorf was about to leave to find a hammock. She opened her mouth to say something until I walked up to her and wrapped her in a hug. "What are you doing?"

I pulled the smaller girl into my chest, her head nestled against my own breasts and rested my chin atop her head. "I'm holding the fuck up." I said with a smirk. It earned me a jab to the ribs during Lou's escape, but the joke was worth it.

"As I was saying," Lou sent me a glare with no real heat in it. "Who exactly made you captain?"

"My kickass new captains hat says I am." I brush the rim of the hat, making some of the beads that hang off it clack together. "Also, because I'm the only person who knows how to sail the Queen Anne and," I snap my fingers causing the sails to fold up and the ship to slow down to a snail's pace compared to before. "Powermove."

"…Well aye, aye captain" Lou mock saluted before walking off to find a place to sleep with Beckendorf right behind her, shortly followed after by Clarisse.

I followed after them, really wanting this day to be done. I hadn't had a full nights sleep in I don't even know how long and there was a hammock below deck with my name on it. I only stopped when I realized that Annabeth hadn't followed behind. "You aren't coming?"

Annabeth shakes her head. "I think I'm just going to stay here for a while." She looked out at the open sea. Her eyes looking off into the distance as we passed by a volcanic island. I could feel the power coming from deep within it mixed with some divinity. It was probably a summer home for one of the gods. "I just have some…things to think about."

Nodding without another word I turn and walk into the ship, finding the nearest hammock I plop down into it. I spread my will one last time through out the ship, straightening our course to the coordinates before finally closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep.

I open my eyes once more to find myself in a dream. The air felt thick, almost like wading through water yet at the same time it was so easy to move. I looked around, finding myself in what looked like a cabin on a ship. The windows were nothing more than small port holes that showed that outside was still nighttime. In the middle of the room, where a bed was supposed to be was a large golden sarcophagus.

The shadows seemed to move like oil in the corners of the room, reaching towards the sarcophagus. Whispers danced through the air and into my ears. They told me to turn around, to run away.

A cold laugh echoed throughout the cabin and scared away the whispers. The golden coffin glowed ominously as the shadows leapt towards it. The laughing only seemed to grow louder as the voice whispered taunts into my head.

"You can't stop me."

"You're not good enough."

The words were like poison to my ears as I was hit with a headache. I reached into my pocket and uncapped Riptide. The bracelet on my wrist glowed slightly, keeping the roiling shadows at bay. My heartbeat in my chest like a jackhammer as I tried to move my feet. I could feel Kronos's tainted essence within the coffin. I needed to destroy him.

"Well Kelp head?" A girl's voice spoke next to me. I almost expected Lou or even Clarisse, or Annabeth to be standing there but instead it was someone else. I couldn't help but think that I had seen her from somewhere. She had styled short black hair and the only makeup she had on was dark eyeliner around her electric blue eyes. "Well? Are you gonna stab him or not?"

I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out.

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. Leave it to me to pull your ass out of the fire." She tapped the chain on her wrist, and it expanded, transforming much like my own watch, into a large shield. It looked like it was made of silver and bronze, with the hideous face of Medusa in the center. If it wasn't instilling a weird instinctual fear into me I would have laughed at how much it resembled one of those old cartoons like Tom and Jerry, or the Looney toons with how it looked like someone had rammed the gorgons face into a metal disc.

The blue eyed girl walked up to the coffin with all the purpose in the world. I wanted to reach out to her and pull her back. To keep her from the obvious source of the malicious feeling, but my body refused to listen. With a mighty heave with one arm she removed the lid of the coffin, where it fell to the floor with a massive thump.

Staring withing she froze as she took a fearful step back. I could barely hear the dread 'No' that escaped her lips as the laughing only seemed to get louder along with a pounding in my skull. The last thing that I knew was the sound of screaming, whether it was hers or mine I didn't know as the shadows consumed all.

With a gasp I woke up on a tropical beach. I could feel my heart beating in my chest at the nightmare. I looked around trying to find the one person who I could talk to about this, and much like always she was never too far off. Just off to the side, Eve stood there. "Oh, thank goodness," I breathed out in relief. "I just had a dream about Kronos and this girl tha—"

"Shut up."

The voice was so low and sudden that I almost missed it entirely. I had known Eve for a long time and never once had I heard her speak in such a way, male form or otherwise. Sure I've heard her shout angrily, I've heard the sarcastic passive aggressive jabs, the demanding authoritative voice, the greedy treasure and knowledge seeker and even the disinterested side, Hades I had been on the receiving end of them more times than I would care for in some cases. But for the first time since I had known her, I had never heard her speak in such a cold, loathsome way.

"Wha—?"

Before I knew it, Eve was already in front of me. Her hand over the lower part of my face like a crushing vice, preventing me from even working my jaw as she easily lifted me off the ground. "I said. Shut. Up." A sudden pressure impacted my body much like what I felt when in Tiamat's presence, a crushing weight that didn't even spare the trees as out of the corner of my eye I could see the palm trees practically bowing beneath the same pressure. I felt any attempt to resist die in my throat as I saw her eyes. No longer were they the astonishing gold, green and ocean blue that so reminded me of a beautiful tropical island, but they were instead replaced with an infernal red mixed with abyssal obsidian. It was as if paradise exploded and all that remained was a hellscape.

It felt like an eternity had passed as I stared into those terrifying orbs before Eve threw me to the ground with a scowl on her beautiful face. "I don't know if its my own lenience with you or the over familiarity." Eve bit out as she stared off into the false ocean before us. "But there is a clear lack of respect between the two of us that needs to be dealt with."

I held my tongue as she spoke. A voice in the back of my mind was telling me to keep my mouth shut to avoid saying something that would with out a doubt make the situation far worse.

"Sibling I may be, I am still a deity and your teacher and as such I am due to the respect that that entitles." She glares at me with all seriousness. "As such, that does not mean that I will stand aside as such disrespect is done so blatantly in front of me."

"Disresp—Are you talking about Reyna?" I asked confused, but I was only proven right as Eve turned to me, her scowl somehow growing deeper than it was.

"Of course, I'm talking about that filth." Eve snapped, the very ground trembling in response before she composed herself. "It wasn't that you let her escape but rather that you helped her escape, and with another Roman as well! You fucking helped two fucking shit heels in the shape of two girls escape off into the fucking sunset!"

"But if I hadn't who knows what those pirates would have done to them?" I shouted back.

"Good. All the more power to them." Eve threw her arms out in exasperation. "Maybe they could have offed them for us, but no. You just had to save them for your hero complex."

"And what's wrong with that?" I shouted. "They were just tour guides."

"Please." Eve scoffed, her face turning into a sneer. "I bet they've led a bunch of people to their deaths with a damn smile on their faces. Typical Romans. Truly a group of mongrels without an ounce of decency within their entire ranks. No doubt further corrupted by that skank Lupa. Romans are taught to respect power above all else." Eve spoke with disgust. "If your weak you get left to die as they use your corpse as a steppingstone. I can't even tell you how many I've seen preach about honor yet use underhanded and backstabbing methods. Mark my words Perseus," Eve spoke with all seriousness as she used my real name, an occurrence that was so rare that I found myself listening with rapt attention. "Romans have always hated Greeks, and should you ever see them again do not trust them. They would stab you in the back at the first chance it benefits them."

All was quiet as we stared at each other. I could tell that she was still furious about what I did but was doing her best to restrain herself lest something happen. Yet I, being myself, couldn't leave such things alone. The words came out of my mouth with all the feeling of sandpaper. "Why do you hate them?"

Eve didn't speak as she turned away from me. As composed as her form was, her knuckles were so white that I thought they were going to draw blood. When she did speak next her voice was clipped. "This disrespect will not go unanswered. I will not be going easy on you during training like I have been," I grew a bit fearful since training usually consisted of me being worked to the point that my body can barely move. "Secondly you will avoid contact with Romans. You either kill them or you avoid them There are to be no alternatives, am I clear."

"But—"

"AM. I. CLEAR." She grit out with suppressed rage and I couldn't bring up any will to deny her. I would have to be more careful in case I run into any more Romans. I gave a quiet yes ma'am. "Good." Eve's tone was neutral. I opened my mouth wanting to ask more. To know why she hated them so much, to press for more. A pain in the ass the goddess can be she was still my elder sibling, one who somehow manages to torment my life for the better, train me, gives me advice, and is patient enough to teach me and I wanted to help her in some way, but it was a lost cause as she snapped her fingers and all I found was darkness.

She went easy on him. She went easy on Percy and she knew it. Eve sighed as she let the tension release from her shoulders even though the rage still burned. She looked down at her hands, seeing the slight traces of golden ichor from where her nails pierced skin before she healed.

She had long ago learned how to harden her heart in order to face everything with the brutal efficiency that was required of her during the Titanomachy as well as the War of Pantheons, yet even still she was prone to moments of soft heartedness. She knew the prophecy that rested on her younger siblings' shoulders, one which she was unsure if he would survive. She could train him more harshly, more efficiently and push him to greater heights than any other.

But would it be worth it?

Would saving Olympus and the western civilization be worth it only for him to die, having the only memories of his life be of ruthless training and conditioning into the weapon that Olympus needed.

Eve let out a huff as she pushed those thoughts aside. With a snap of her fingers complex symbols and calculations exploded into existence in the world before fading away.

Eve was a lot like her father Poseidon in many ways, one of which was her temper. Whereas Poseidon was like the ocean, volatile and prone to change at any moment, causing him to lash out at even the most random slights, Eve was like the earth. Enduring, unyielding, and patient. Its what made her the best when dealing with gods from any pantheon as she wasn't one to explode at any disrespectful remark from god or mortal. That didn't mean she would let such things slide, but she would react with the amount of attention it deserved.

But there were just some days that all the disrespect would build, piling together until it was ready to explode like a volcano, with more chaos and destruction than most other deities could match.

This was one such occasion.

As soon as Eve was sure that nothing adverse would happen to her sibling/protégé with what she was about to do. She grit her teeth and allowed the anger to rise. Every frustration that she had to deal with rose to the front of her mind. It wasn't just Percy, but decades worth of anger rose to the surface, it was just that the sight of the Percy helping those damn Romans had nearly had her lashing out in fury, something that wouldn't be good for anyone. So, with that she had decided to release the rage she felt in the easiest way possible.

Repeated mass destruction.

With a roar of pure fury, the goddess unleashed the built up pressure into the empty space, her form exploding and unleashing nothing but pure destruction.

In human history the largest ever explosion unleashed was from the Russian made Tsar Bomba. A nuclear bomb with an explosive yield of 50 megatons of TNT, making it 1,500 times more powerful than both Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined.

The explosive yield that Eve had just released was worth 800 teratonnes of TNT. A full 16 million times more powerful than the Tsar Bomba.

Eve tsked as she stood atop the water, with nothing insight. The blast had wiped the small island away and even then, the goddess barely felt any better. But that wouldn't stop her as she prepared to try again.

She would release it all, bits and pieces of her full power for hours into the night, each attempt more destructive then the last, to the point that it reached anti-continent levels of raw power.

Not that anyone would ever know as she always made sure to release her rage in complete seclusion and without the aid of her divine weapon.

I open my eyes and let out a sigh. The feeling of lethargy still hitting me despite the sleep that I got. I honestly didn't even want to deal with today, so much on my mind. Eve was hurting and I knew it was my fault at least partially. I had never given much thought to why she hated the Romans so much; it had always just been something that she just said, and I accepted it. I never thought I would actually meet any Romans and get to see just how deeply that hatred ran.

I was going to have to figure out why she hates them so much. Maybe talk to Hestia if Eve isn't going to open up, which is most likely going to happen. Unless it has to deal with the situation at hand that goddess is more locked down with her secrets than Area 51 and Fort Knox combined.

I stand out of the hammock and will the sweat from my body and clothes. The warmth from the lamps getting trapped inside hull of the ship made it very muggy. I reach into my bag and pull out one of the outfits that Reyna helped me pick out. It was a standard pair of shorts with a nice T shirt. It took me far longer than I was comfortable with to change on account of I had no one to help with the bra.

I let out a yawn as I get top side. "I guess I'm the last one." I notice that everyone was standing on the deck.

"Glad you see your lazy ass finally woke up Prissy."

"Yeah well this lazy ass doesn't look as good after running on only an hour of sleep." The words came out of my mouth without meaning to and I felt a blush spread across my face as I just realized I bragged about my…ass. I wasn't the only one as the others had varying degrees of blushes and from the girls there were looks of…jealousy? "Anyways what's up?" I try to steer the conversation forward.

"We're approaching land." Lou said as she was looking through a telescope, she got from…somewhere. "I think it's the island of the sirens. We'll be getting close to their singing soon."

"Where did you get that?"

"I found it in the lower decks along with a bunch of other stuff." Lou stated and I just shrugged.

I remembered the legend of the sirens. Magical creatures with voices so lovely that it enchanted sailors and lured them overboard where they would be drowned and eaten. Yet at the same time I couldn't help but think of that one episode of Samurai Jack where the Scotsman screams at them for singing terribly.

I let out a small snort at the memory the gets me a look from Beckendorf that I wave off. "They shouldn't be a problem." I said. "I saw a tub of wax below deck—"

"I want to hear them."

I blinked and as if all in unison everyone turned towards the daughter of Athena that just spoke. "Why?" I couldn't help but ask.

"They say that the sirens sing the truth about what you desire. They tell you things about yourself you didn't even realize. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you survive then you come out wiser."

"That…doesn't sound like a good idea." Beckendorf admitted as he scratched the back of his head.

"Its fucking stupid is what it is. No need to sugar coat it." Clarisse scoffed.

"Just because you guys aren't smart enough to see how good this opportunity is doesn't mean I'm going to pass it up."

"That still doesn't make it sound any less stupid." Lou retorted. Annabeth scowled at the shorter girl but just got a middle finger in return.

"Look all you need to do is tie me to the mast. None of you have to do this with me." Annabeth said. I grimace as I wasn't too comfortable with this plan. "Beckendorf can tie me to the mast with chains or rope if we don't have it."

"Whoa why are you making Beckendorf do it?" Lou asked. "I mean that just sounds completely sexy."

"I think you mean sexist." Beckendorf corrected.

"I mean it does sound a bit sexy." I add to the conversation.

I could see the twitch in Annabeth's eye as she gives us a scathing stare that would be less threatening without the blush. "I want Beckendorf to do it because I don't trust any of you to know how to tie anything other than your own shoes."

"Well I'll have you know I am master of knot tying." I say sounding slightly offended. "For the last six or so hours." I quickly add on.

"And that's why I don't trust you with this."

"Just tie her up." Clarisse groaned. "Its far less of a headache to just do it."

Without more prompt Beckendorf walked over to the mast with a rather strong looking rope that he found on the deck. I had no idea how a century old rope would stand against enhanced demigod strength, but I decided to keep an eye out for her anyways.

Once she was all tied up, I went down and brought up the bee's wax and we put it into our ears. I had to say it was not the most pleasant feeling. It felt like wet mush as I put it into my ears, and I had to push down a shiver at how gross it felt. "Hey Beck." I called out to the son of Hephaestus as he had finished putting some of the wax in one ear and was starting the next. "Did you ever get a good look at the cannons on the ship?"

"Yeah." He said with a shrug. "A few are cracked and can't be used below deck but most of them ae still functional. We even have barrels of powder and cannonballs to use."

I nodded my thanks as he finishes putting the wax in his ears, and I follow suit. I place the captain's hat on my head and head behind the wheel. Everyone else is just goes off to do what they want. Lou is climbing into the crow's nest up top, Clarisse is checking out the canons, and Beckendorf is looking over the make of the ship. "Maybe I'll ask him if there are any modifications I can have done to the ship." Suddenly getting an idea I spread my will through the ship trying to see if I could connect to the cannons. It was a bit of a stretch as I closed my eyes and reached out to the barrels of metal. It took a bit of effort but after a moment something just…clicked into place. I couldn't help but smile as I watched some of the cannons move around and felt the supplies below deck come to life. Honestly if anyone went down there it would look like they were in a mix of Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney's Fantasia.

"The silence was eerie in this part of the sea," I monologued with my captain's voice. "The wind was dead in our ears from the wax, but I could still feel its cooling touch. The morning star is gracefully lifted to its place upon high, the clouds parting like subjects to their mighty king, never obscuring his blinding glory for all to see."

"So, it is told by Captain Jackson as we graciously make our way to the jagged rocks of the Sirens territory. Like the fangs of a mighty beast they pierce through the roof of the fog. The wax in my ears hopefully preventing any tragedy that might occur in due time." I look over at Annabeth for any signs of change, but she was completely calm. "Cabin girl Annabeth had petitioned to crew for the chance to hear the sultry song of these sea wenches. A foolish notion but one countered by the number of those that had refuse, namely anyone with common sense on this ship."

Annabeth sends me a me a glare.

"Shit. Have I been speaking aloud this entire time?" I make sure to monologue mentally, looking away from those accusing grey eyes. "Tis not important. What is important is the fact that I probably need a jacket and better clothing to complete my captain look. With proper boots and of course they must match. I wonder if laces would loo…" Out of the corner of my eyes I see Annabeth thrashing, which breaks me from my inner thoughts on wardrobe synchronicity.

She silently screamed and thrashed against her bonds. All of a sudden, I could feel the vibrations spreading throughout the ship. I could only guess that it was the sirens.

Tears were streaming down Annabeth's face as she cried out. She seemed to be screaming something, as if trying to get any of use to listen, but it wasn't going to work as no one other than myself was watching her. The others were watching the seas, looking for anything that might come to attack.

That was my biggest mistake.

The moment I looked back at Annabeth I panicked. The ropes had just fallen to the ground along with a bronze dagger.

"Fuck we forgot to disarm her!"

Annabeth was already making her way to the side of the ship. I prepared to leap over the railing, but I knew I was too far to catch her. The only one that could reach her was…

"Gods I hope she doesn't kill me for this." I inwardly prayed as I activated my shield and threw Echo straight at Clarisse. The shield flew at high speeds and hit the railing and scaring the shit out of her before I pull it back to me with magic.

The daughter of Ares sends me a burning look before I pointed at Annabeth who was making a break for the open water. Her eyes widened as she took off into a sprint and tackling Annabeth just as she reached the railing.

The two of them struggled on the ground with Clarisse pinning Annabeth down. The Blonde was desperately trying to crawl towards the edge of the ship, barely giving Clarisse any attention other than a few elbows. However, Clarisse was far stronger than Annabeth was so anything less than her full attention meant that she wasn't going anywhere, but I wasn't taking any chances.

With a wave of my hand I expressed my will over the entire ship. I could feel the pull in my gut and the rumble of the wooden deck as the cannons began to maneuver themselves into position. An outline formed like a long arch. A trajectory assist of sorts as I moved the cannons up and down and watched the arch move in accordance.

The mist began to clear as we got closer and I only got a brief glimpse at the Sirens. Ugly things that looked like a mix between an elderly woman and a fat vulture. Their faces shifted constantly like a slide show of all the people I knew and cared for.

I wasn't having it. I clenched my hand into a fist and the cannons began firing their munitions in a symphony of destruction. I could feel the armaments reloading themselves and firing once more.

The beach the sirens were on exploded multiple times, to the point it looked like an old war movie. I knew that I got a bunch of them but there were still some that chose to flee further into their island.

I looked over and saw a gaping Clarisse and Beckendorf and a glassy eyed Annabeth who was no longer struggling but instead just lying there. I watch as Clarisse hesitantly pulls the wax out of one of her ears before giving the all clear sign a moment latter. The rest of us pull the wax out as Lou climbs down from the crow's nest.

"So want to explain how your able to just turn that island into a recreation of D-Day?" Lou asked as she tried to dig some more wax from her ears. "Because that looked cool."

I give her a shrug. "I control everything on this ship. Cannons are just another part of it."

"Where's my cool power up." Lou griped.

"Didn't you get a tone of magic books? Why don't you make one?" The face that Lou made was as if she had found the answer to all of life's secrets. I quickly turn to the others because I'd rather not think of the hell I probably just unleashed. "So, how is she?"

Annabeth looked like some one had just killed her loved ones right in front of her. Tear tracks covered most of her cheeks and there may have been a bit of drool on her mouth. I had seen that look once before when I was a kid and saw a guy who looked like he had lost his job.

Beckendorf turned to me. "Well physically she's fine but I think she needs some rest before she come-SLAP!" The son of Hephaestus let out a sigh as Clarisse just slapped the shit out of Annabeth. "Or we can just do that." He said with a sigh.

It took a moment for Annabeth to get full control of herself. Her eyes regaining their clarity yet she was still shaken by whatever she saw."I-I didn't realize." Annabeth spoke in a breathless whisper as she stared at the deck. "I saw so much. It all looked so real, like it was right there."

"What'd they show you princess." Clarisse asked slowly.

"Everything I could ever want, but most importantly what I needed to see." Annabeth finally looked us in the eyes. "I saw my fatal flaw."

The others grimaced but I was just confused. "What's a fatal flaw."

"The one fallible thing within each hero." Clarisse said with a grimace. "The one personal trait that all heroes are born with that leads to their downfall."

"Mine is Hubris. Deadly pride." Annabeth whispered.

"Each one is different for every demigod." Beckendorf picked up the explanation. "The universe hates the perfect heroes that ride off into the sunset, so its like we are born with a permanent flaw to make our life stories more interesting in the grand scheme of things before we die a valiant death or through some tragic bullshit ending."

"Gods that sounds so morbid." Lou says.

I open my mouth to add my own thoughts before something clicked in my mind. I looked over the bow of the ship and spot a saddle shaped island in the distance. It was covered with forested hills and green meadows along with white beaches

In my mind my nautical sense confirmed: 30 degrees, 31 minutes north, 75 degrees, 12 minutes west.

We had reached our destination.

Semi-Canon Omake: First date

"This had better not be a waste of time." A beautiful woman with grey eyes walks through a temple with a dark-haired man behind her. His grin filled with mirth.

"Oh, come on you know that you've been wanting to test your mental skills against me." The dark-haired man teases. "I mean I just never expected you to be so forward with your desires Athena."

"Well when dealing with your father I've learned that short and simple is the best way to speak Adamos." Athena huffs.

"Yeah well walking up to a guy and saying, 'you are to accompany me, and you shall not leave until I am satisfied' it can be taken in any number of ways I mean not that I mind such an event." The earth god flirts a little as the wisdom goddess turns away to hide the blush on her face.

"It was not the most apt choice of words; believe me I realize that." Athena says regaining her composure. "However, that is no longer relevant. Instead we are settling this rivalry here before it escalates." The goddess snaps her fingers and a chess board appears. "We shall play five rounds."

Adamos shrugs. "Seems like a nice way to pass the day."

3 hours later~

"How? How did you beat me?!" Athena examines the board from multiple angles, trying to find any trickery.

"Gotta admit that was very close." Adamos grins as he massages one of his temples from the high amount of stress from five games.

"A-Another game." Athena orders. "I demand we play another game!"

"Are you sure? We have duties—" Adamos tries to reason only for the wisdom goddess to throw the chess board aside and pull out a deck of cards.

"We are playing another game." Flames of determination dance in her eyes as she gets up close to his face, close enough that Adamos was able to notice that she smells like strawberries. "You're not leaving until I'm satisfied."

"Y-Yes ma'am." Adamos dumbly says as his cheeks take a golden hue.

They went through four other games after five rounds of cards until Athena finally bested Adamos hands down in five rounds of twister. Although in his defense he was very distracted due to certain…new feelings.

This started a new tradition between the couple to hold a game night every once in a while.

A/N: Yeah Adamos is a total sucker for strong willed bossy women. Anyways I would have posted earlier but I live in Washington and we recently had three days of snow and people have been scared to drive on the roads. This has resulted in me being called into work even on my days of since grocery stores don't close for shit. Any ways I hope you enjoy.

Actually, now that I think about it, I never gave a referenced description of what Adamos looks likes. I mean Eve looks like Scathach from FGO just with different eyes. The image I always had in my mind would be a black-haired and different eye colored Gilgamesh from fate stay. More specifically the shirtless one where he has his hair down rather than spiked.

Reviews:

JoJo Jesus: As long as you read it.

HellRaiderS: Thanks

Jotakak432: More like Hera and Hestia invented femboys/ traps. Adamos was just the first of his kind.

Jason wu: I hoped that I could explain it in this chapter but its not that Percy forgot so much as there's a serious disconnect. Percy knows Adamos hates Romans but Percy himself has never met one until then. Up till that point its all been talk. Also, Percy is still mortal, so he doesn't hold grudges like a child of Hades or a god does. Also, I don't think Annabeth herself hates romans its just Athena that does. As for the Pan thing I have a few ideas and murdering him in front of Grover does sound appealing, but we'll see. As for Circe, Adamos won't deal with her because in the PJO universe Circe is the daughter of Hecate and Helios. Hurting his niece is a good way to hurt his sister and he loves his little sister to much to go out of his way to do that.

Matt: That's your choice really, Percy doesn't really have that option. As for the stir crazy I can't relate. I work for a grocery store, so I still have to work. And no Percy hasn't changed back into a boy. He's not turning back till after the fleece gets to camp.

RageSage: Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Frostboi88: I'm glad you think I'm doing femPercy justice. It's not a permanent change but it has potential for funny things as a temporary thing.

OcciNiccO: If it works with the story FemPercy may make a brief comeback. And Thalia will definitely hear about this.

CommanderDuck14: The ship is leaving, and it will not be changed.

Demigodninja21: Hylla did escape with Reyna.

Yesse2362: Good luck with the oneshot.

Diavo: Percy will never live this down. Lou already has pictures.

ThisOneBetterNotBeTaken: Adamos was always a cute child. As for Percy, I can never see him willingly switching genders.
