Chapter Thirty-Seven: The Battle in the Gods' Junk Pile
Just a quick warning, there is no lemon in this chapter. Also, I probably didn't mention this before, but Annabeth have a Celestial bronze knife. According to the wiki, she lost the one that Luke gave in in The Mark of Athena. However, in my story, she still has it. One final thing, one of the readers mentions that my grammar need improvement and I need to work on my tense. If anyone would like to check my spelling/grammar, let me know. I do not own Percy Jackson (Rick Riordan does) nor do I own Ben's Girl (Azure/Auumann does).
Timeline: The Titan's Curse (Westover Hall)
Percy turned to Piper and Artemis to break the news to them. He told them how he wanted to save the life of Zoe, Bianca, and Silena.
Piper stared at him for a few minutes before replying. "I understand why you wanted to save them, but is that even possible?"
The demigods turn to Artemis, as she was the only goddess there. "I never heard of anything like that being done. However, if we could save my hunters from death, I would like to give it a shot."
Artemis turned to Percy. "I couldn't save Kallisto or a number of my followers in the past. I would like the fate of my hunters change to a better one."
Percy saw that Artemis' eyes were like the moon reflexed off the water. She must have been imaging all the hunters that die from her time. He knew that Artemis care for her followers as she turned Zoe into a constellation. He promises himself that he will do everything he can to save Zoe and Bianca.
Piper broke his thought by asking a question. "Any idea how we can save them?"
Percy turned to Annabeth, as she was the one that usually have the ideas. Annabeth made her "I'm planning something look" before she answered.
"The first thing we need to know if where the remaining Titans are. Beside Bob, there should be two left. Hyperion and Krios. I think we should try to summon Chronos and ask him."
Percy rubbed his head. "Okay, but how do we summon him?"
It was Artemis that provided the answer. "If you are talking about the primordial god of time, he can be summon by turning the hand on the clock backward."
Artemis walked to the clock hanging from the school wall and removed it. She turned it around to move the hand in reversal. The clock began to float and grew in size until it was big enough for a man to walk through.
Chronos walked out of the portal leaning on his scythe. What was strange was that Chronos was holding a pudding cup.
"Why did you summon me son of Poseidon? It was Tapioca Pudding Day in the Senior Gods Citizen Center."
Before Percy could ask about the center, Annabeth interrupt. "Lord Chronos, we had defeat Koios and trapped him ice. We wanted to know where are the remaining Titans."
Chronos turned his scythe into a spoon and shove some pudding into his mouth before speaking. "I will take Koios back into the present. The last two are spread across time, so we have to make two stop. I will take you to the first spot. The last one, you get assistance from another god."
As Chronos spoke, Tapioca spray out his mouth, landing on their face.
Artemis wiped the pudding off before responding. "Lord Chronos, I too wish to travel with these hero. If you permit me, I would forever be grateful."
Chronos shove more pudding into his mouth. "If that what you wish, I allowed it. Now get ready because I am opening up another time hole."
With one last pudding spit in their face, Chronos turned the spoon back into a scythe and rip a hole in space.
Grabbing their supplies, the three demigods and goddess jump through the portal.
They awoke in the middle a dessert landscape. Standing around them was hills. It appeared that it was the middle of the night.
"Where are we?" Annabeth ask as she help Piper stands up.
Artemis was the only one who was standing. "According to the stars, we are in Arizona. For the reason we are here, I can't imagine."
Percy stood up to glaze at their surrounding. He couldn't think of any reason why a Titan would be in Arizona.
Percy saw that the hills were shiny with scrap metal. He soon realized where they are.
"This is the Junkyard of the Gods. I pass by here when I was searching for Annabeth. I remember because this was where we lost…"
Percy had an image of a giant bronze giant and a lost hunter.
"Bianca!" Percy screamed. He ran through the junkyard till he reached the end. He saw pieces of Talos spread across the land, but no sign of Bianca.
Annabeth, Piper, and Artemis caught up to him just as he collapsed on his knees to pound at the sand. He regretted not being able to save Bianca. This time it was worst because it happen twice.
"We meet again Percy Jackson!"
The four turned as they saw a giant man in golden armor walking from the sunrise. Just like Koios, he had a giant sword in the same color as his armor. Percy fought against him before and met him again in Tartarus.
"Hyperion." Percy growled at the Titan of the East.
Hyperion pointed his sword at the son of Poseidon. "As soon as I felt Koios energy disappeared, I had a feeling that it would been you. I know you better than you know yourself. Your fatal flaw is loyalty. If you could save a soul, you would. All I had to do is wait."
Percy drew Riptide as Annabeth and Piper stood by his side with their weapons out.
Artemis knock an arrow into her bow. "You made a terrible mistake Titan. If you think you can beat us, you are slowly mistaken."
Hyperion sneered at the goddess. "I don't see any worry opponents. I see a fish out of water. I see two little girls that think they are warriors. I see a goddess who thinks some tiny darts will be enough to stop me. Now you will be destroy by Hyperion, Titans of Light."
As soon as he finished his speech, Hyperion's body was surround by a blight light. It blinded Artemis, causing her arrow to miss it target.
Piper and Annabeth couldn't see but Annabeth knew that they weren't Hyperion's targets. He only had eye on the demigod that defeated him.
Percy raised his hands to cover his eyes, but he was still blind. He never saw Hyperion's sword coming. However, Annabeth knew that Percy was in danger. She raised her dagger to try to stop the blow and it almost work. However, Hyperion wasn't called the third strongest Titans for nothing.
Hyperion's blow was too much and knock Annabeth down. Enrage, Percy aim at Hyperion with Riptide but the Titan was too fast. He blocked his blow and kick Percy.
Percy stumbled as Hyperion raised his sword to cut his neck.
"Hyperion! Look at me!" Piper said adding some charmspeak into her voice.
Even though he didn't want to, Hyperion turned to look at Piper. "Do you wish to die first little girl?"
Piper laughed. "No. I just want to talk. I am amaze about how strong you are."
Hyperion leered at her. "Flattery won't save your life."
Piper walked up to Hyperion, even though it was like walking up to a tanning bed. "I wasn't trying to flatter you. I just notice all your big muscles as you swing your sword."
Even Hyperion wasn't immune to Piper's charmspeak. Piper knew that a big-muscle head like Hyperion couldn't resist someone talking about his body. She was proven correct as he flexed his muscles to show them off.
"I glad you noticed. I am the greatest warrior of the Titans. My body won't fail to my brother."
Piper put a hand on one of Hyperion's arm. "I feel that you are athletic. However, it is hard to see with your bright light. You mind turning if off for me?"
Piper gave a brilliant smile that was brighter than Hyperion's glow. Percy was wondering what was Piper plan, when he noticed a lithe shape jumping from junk mounds.
Hyperion beamed at Piper. "I give you a few moment to enjoy the view. Then I will end your life."
Just as Hyperion shut off his light, Artemis took this chance to shoot at arrow at his feet.
Hyperion turned to the goddess. "Nice try. You missed."
Artemis smirked at Hyperion. "My aim wasn't at you Titan."
Hyperion turned to late as he noticed water was leaking from where the arrow hit. Percy noticed first and cause a geyser to erupted from an irrigation pipe.
The water splashed on Hyperion, dousing his flames. Now that he was soaked, he couldn't use any fire or light ability.
Percy took this chance to strike back. Soon Artemis joined the battle and fought against Hyperion using hunting knives. She changed into a tiger, a deer, and a falcon to increase her power. Piper help Annabeth up on her feet and soon they also join in the fight.
Hyperion felt that he was about to lose, as he was surround on all four sides. However, the Titan had one last trick up his sleeve.
"I will stay your hand if I would you." Hyperion bellow. "If you don't, your precious hunter will lose her life."
Hyperion pointed a finger at a junk pile. Two skeleton wearing police uniforms walked around the pile holding a young girl with a gag in her mouth. The girl had tan skin with freckles across her nose. Both her hair and eyes was brown. Combine with her hunting jacket and silver aura, Percy recognized her.
"Bianca!"
End of Chapter Thirty-Seven
This is a good place to stop the chapter. I don't want the reader to get bored. I promised you that the next chapter would have a lemon. It a good one. Also, I am glad that I waited till I wrote two chapters before I submit it. If I didn't, the chapter title would have been different. Also, I won't be writing as much as I should. Reason is that my job will be increasing in it workload. Leave a review or you will have to brush Ladon's teeth.
Next chapter: The Ghost Queen and the Love Goddess.
