Typing away on her console, Licca Kusunoki is perhaps one of the most capable individuals off the Far East Branch responsible for God Arc research and development. However, she had a few nights of constant work as she had observed the behaviour of materials harvested/left behind by Elena's Aragami form of Brutus. While most Aragami materials would have yielded possible God Arc weapon forms, the fact that the Brutus materials left no opportunities to forge a weapon frustrated her.

Luck was on her side as when she was about to pass out due to overwork and exhaustion, she accidentally mixed the Brutus materials with that of the Marduk's, causing them to suddenly merge and create a new string of materials. Looking over them, her excitement went over the roof as the new materials merged from both Brutus and Marduk yielded the possibility of a Long Blade God Arc with a Sniper Rifle and Shield combination. Because of that, she had immediately got to work on it days after Elena and the others left for Remnant weeks ago, only finishing up the final adjustments now.

She was just about to submit the final information when Elena and Raven came down into the armory, followed by Summer, Ruby and Yang. Looking over to the side, the God Arc engineer could only smile as the young girls went to observe the various God Arcs she had forged while the Blood Captain walked over to her, hearing their banter on how the weapons were forged and the possible procedures. She can tell that the young Rose was excited to see the various Scythes in the armory before gazing at her friend.

"Yo Licca, is my God Arc all tuned up," she heard Elena question as the two Branwens reached her.

"Just a bit of fine tuning, but its rearing to go," the girl answered, placing her hands on her hips. "Despite your break, you really put it through the wringer with the Marduk."

"Please, don't remind me. I've already had enough of a lecture from you when I brought it in."

"Well, someone has to drill it inside your head about how important proper God Arc maintenance is. Speaking of, I'm glad you two came over. I have something to show…" seeing their confused faces, the girl dragged them over to her terminal, imputing her information before displaying an image of a unique God Arc before speaking. "You see, before the paperwork had been finalize by Sakaki, I was working on a custom God Arc for Raven to use after you came back to us, using materials harvested from Brutus. Results have been… difficult."

"How so," the woman questioned.

"For one, I can't even get a proper form set up from the Brutus materials alone. It couldn't even form a Short Blade. However…" Typing on the console, she displayed the newly made God Arc on screen while continuing. "…when the Brutus materials suddenly mixed in with Mars materials harvested from Marduks, they created a new breed of materials I aptly labelled 'Warg.' With them in hand, I set out to see what I could make and the result is this: A Long Blade/Sniper Rifle combo with a Shield."

Typing more onto the console, one of the Storage devices came to life before opening up, revealing the God Arc in question and getting the girls and Summer's attention. The Weapon had a blood red metallic surface on its three parts, and what appears to be purple fur protruding from the sides of the shield and what is considered the flat end of the God Arc. To say that they were impressed was an understatement as Ruby's eyes sparkled while observing the new weapon.

"Let me introduce you to the new God Arc. The Long Blade is known as the Gevaudan, and it is joined by the Sniper Rifle Volkodlak and the shield Kornmöhme. Elemental Attributes is surprisingly enough a combination of both Fire and Divine, making it a strong choice against monsters like the Prithvi Mata, more resistant against Aragami with a flare variety, and both against Divine type." Smiling, Licca tapped her hand on Raven's shoulder as she finishes. "And it is all yours, Raven. It just needs to be imprinted onto you."

"Wait… this God Arc is for me," was all that the woman questioned before looking at the unique weapon in question. She knows that it is far different than that of the Kurogane series of weapons, and yet she can tell that it was made with her style in mind. Whistling in awe, she looks over towards Licca before nodding, satisfied with her work on the weapon.

"I'm honestly glad that you like it, Raven," the girl spoke out. "To be honest, it was a surprise I was able to make it with the mixed materials. Still, I am proud to say that this is my finest achievement. In fact…" Rushing to the console, she imputed several commands on her terminal as machinery transfers the weapon out. "…why don't we go ahead and get the imprinting process out of the way. That way, you can go out on the field without having to share Elena's Kurogane."

"Wait a minute," Ruby cuts in. "Why is it that the weapon parts have individual names? Why not just name the whole thing with one name?"

"Because God Eaters usually swap out the weapon parts from time to time sometimes until they're satisfied."

"So, do I just go ahead and get it over with," she heard Raven ask out, receiving a nod in return.

"Yeah, it should not take long to get the imprinting process done," Licca replies, typing away on her terminal. "Just a fair warning, it is going to be very painful."

"I think I can handle it. I mean, I survived being devoured by Elena's God Arc, so this will be a cinch."

"OK… don't say I didn't warn you…" was all that Licca could say to Raven as the woman follows the machinery out of the room before looking at Elena. "And once that's done, are you going to take her out on a mission?"

"More than likely," the younger Branwen answered back. "I'll see if I can get a mission where the two of us could compete for the most kills, so probably one with a large amount of small fry. Maybe a mix of Ogretail and Vajratails or a horde of Dreakpikes. I'll have to look into it with Hibari or Fran."

"Nice."

"Um, Elena," they faced the Blood Captain's sister as the young Rose timidly looks at the two of them. "Would it be ok if mom and my team could come and watch you fight the Aragami?"

"That is something you should bring up with Director Sakaki, young lady," the Engineer answers before adopting a thoughtful look. "Though, he will no doubt authorize it, provided a God Eater is to be by your side."

"But more importantly, why would you want to see how we deal with the Aragami," Elena questioned, seeing Ruby sheepishly scratch the back of her neck as she continues. "You know that you can't engage the monsters. You were lucky to hold the Marduk back until we arrived back on Remnant."

"Um… just because we can't fight the Aragami, doesn't mean we can watch and come up with strategies that could help take them down easier." The young girl's statements had gotten both the God Eater and the Engineer thinking as Ruby continues. "Plus, it would be a good idea for us to see the monsters themselves."

"She does have a point…" Sighing, Elena turned to look at her little sister as she spoke out. "Alright, you girls can come along, but you have to stay with the assigned God Eater. Is that understood?"

"Yup."

"Alright… now if you'll excuse me…" Pulling out her phone, she connected over to the Ops Centre as she moved away from the group as Ruby gazed back towards the God Arcs. "Hibari, it's me. Can you look through the registry to see any missions involving only small scale Aragami?"

"Just a moment," she heard the experienced Operator. "There appears to be a large infestation of Dreadpikes and Cocoon Maidens over at the Academy Ruins, a large remnant from the Hannibal Horde from BRUTAL OVERTHROW. They have been left alone by the others due to the lack of surviving large scale Aragami, but if left alone, they could pose a threat."

"Awesome. Sign Raven and I up for that mission. She's breaking out her new God Arc."

"Copy that… be advised, there is a possibility of a Large Scale Aragami, but the sensors aren't picking up the breed."

"We'll be on the lookout for that then. Also, have an APC with an Operator and a God Eater ready. Ruby requested to observe with her team and Summer."

"Sakaki knew you would request that… Teruomi Makabe and Lindow Amamiya have been selected."

"Why am I not surprised," Elena deadpans before chuckling. "We'll be ready to move out whenever."

"Roger that. Good Hunting."

Nodding, the girl shut off her connection just as Raven came back into the Armory with the newly made God Arc in hand. Already, the elder Branwen had the look on her face that screams of wanting to test the weapon on the field, and the young God Eater matched the expression with a smirk of her own. Putting her phone away, the girl walked over to the others before stopping in front of them.

"Ready to get to work, mom," she asked Raven. "Because we have a job lined up for us."

Before the Calamity that have devastated the Earth, the academy was once a place where young adults would learn and grow to become the next generation of innovators of a better future. But now, the Academy Ruins now serve as a den for the Aragami, with different breeds taking over the area from time to time as well as a former training ground for Blood. Even now, the location serves as a nest for the bipedal insectoid Aragami the Dreadpikes as well as the immobile Cocoon Maidens.

As of this moment, both Elena and Raven are observing them from a higher point than the Aragami, and the mere sight of the small monsters have gotten the two Branwens in thought. Due to being of a smaller scale than the Medium, Large or even the Ouroboros sized monsters, the Dreadpikes make up for their size with numbers, and reports showed that a mass of them have overturned a Fenrir convoy before coming to the Academy Ruins. Because of the size of the area, as well as the mass of small fry, the Veteran God Eater and the samurai only hummed out in thought as a few plans come to mind.

"Ok, I never expected the horde to be that large," the girl commented while placing her hand over her chin, thinking of how to deal with them. "I can see why these are survivors of BRUTAL OVERTHROW… they got the numbers to stay alive."

"Bunch of overgrown beetles is what they are," Raven snorts out, getting familiar with her new God Arc's weight before speaking up. "They shouldn't be too much trouble."

"Yeah, but tackling them all at once would end up disastrous, not to mention exhausting." Nodding, the girl turned around to grab her Kurogane before rejoining Raven, placing her weapon over her shoulder. "Instead, we're going to split up their group into two manageable hordes. That way, they won't be able to overwhelm us."

"Divide and conquer? I like it, but it sounds rather boring."

"Then how about we make it a competition," the God Eater's words ran through her mother's ears, getting her attention. "Whoever gets the less kills between the two of us has to pay for dinner. Sound good?"

"A challenge… Now you just made it interesting. Don't be afraid to lose today, Elena."

"You'll just end up eating those words."

Erupting in laughter, the young Branwen of the two looked over her watch as the timer counted down, bringing out her God Arc off her shoulder as the count went to zero. Once the watch had beeped out, the two Branwens jumped down off the cliff before landing on the lower surface of the Ruined Academy. Not wasting the opportunity, the girl whistled out loud enough, causing the Dreadpikes close to them to turn and roar out at the humans, eager to devour their new prey.

However, it has proven to be their mistake as one of the Beetle Aragami rushed towards the God Eaters, only to be cleaved in have by Raven's God Arc. Immediately afterwards, the woman used the chance to kick one of the Aragami halves towards the horde, knocking down a decent amount of the small-scale monsters in the process. Looking back at her daughter, the elder Branwen gave Elena a smirk before breaking off into the ruined interior, being followed by the monsters that she knocked down while the rest roars out before engaging the younger Branwen.

While the two active God Eaters engaged the Aragami forces, the battle was being broadcast over to the close by Fenrir APC, where team RWBY and Summer, alongside a reluctant Glynda and the God Eater Lindow observed how the Dreadpikes engaged the God Eaters engaging them. Being told about the Aragami paled in comparison to actually seeing them for the girls from Beacon and the two Remnan women couldn't help but be afraid over the size of the insectoid monsters. Regardless, they observed how Elena and Raven engaged the monsters that were slightly taller than the God Eaters, witnessing how easy they're taking out their numbers.

"Those things are small-scale," Blake questioned, watching the Dreadpikes up close on the monitor. "They're larger than the Ursa Grimm back home… this is one of the common breeds?"

"Yeah, and they're on par with the Ogretail sightings lately," Lindow comments on them. "They're slightly stronger than the Ogretails due to their carapace, but they're still viable for a quick death. What makes them dangerous is their ability to burrow, but only if the God Eater doesn't know when they'll pop up."

"Regardless, both Elena and Raven know what they're getting themselves into," they turn to face Teruomi, switching the feed with the map of the region as he spoke out. "Let's not forget that Elena's been fighting Aragami for many months now, whereas Raven has applied her bandit movements into her combat, allowing her to compete against even the strongest Arc Aberrants."

"It still strikes me as unnerving as you have giant bugs as monsters you have to fight," Glynda mutters out before shivering. "That just sounded like an idea for a movie."

"Fun fact: There is a movie about fighting giant bugs," the Operator cuts in. "Of course, with what has happened to the world, I don't think we'll be able to salvage a copy of that movie."

"Can we please focus on the fact that those two are fighting monsters we can't tackle," Weiss interrupts, keeping her eyes on the screens. "I don't know why they would go after them? Isn't there a larger threat they could tackle?"

"Remember, this mission serves as an adaptation to the God Arc for Raven," Summer informs her before looking at the screen, worried for the two Branwens. "She needs to feel the weight of the weapon as she fights against the monsters. It is not just an extermination… it's also a test."

"Got it in one," she heard Lindow confirm as he crosses his arms. "Despite wanting to take on a large-scale Aragami, Raven knows she needs to slowly work up the ladder, starting with monsters like the Cocoon Maidens and the Dreadpikes."

"I'm sure mom can handle it," Yang speaks up, having a confident expression as she watched the footage of the battle in the Academy Ruins. "If I have learned anything, it's that mom will not half ass a situation. She'll go in full throttle to get the results she desires."

True to her word, the woman in question had led the horde of Aragami attracted to her away from the outer courtyard over to the domed interior of the ruins, seeing a decently sized group right as she turned to face them. Smirking, she held her God Arc in a one-handed reverse grip despite the weight it possesses, beckoning the Dreadpikes to come closer to her. Her expression grew satisfied as some of the monsters took the bait as one of the insectoids rushed towards her, pointing its horn down to impact her stomach.

It didn't land the blow at the last second as the Branwen matriarch moved over to the before swinging the Gevaudan, cleaving through the massive green bipedal beetle with ease as the blade destroyed its core. Not one to let her guard down, she jumped out of the way as another Dreadpike pounced over it's breathren's corpse, only to meet the same fate afterwards. One after another, the small-scale Aragami horde followed in the footsteps of those previous by charging after Raven, only to be cut down and, in some cases, tossed to the side by her God Arc's Devour function.

However, just as she was falling into the routine of killing the Dreadpikes, she unknowingly jumped out of the way as the Cocoon Maidens popped out of the ground underneath her, turning over to face her before firing homing shots. While avoiding the immobile Aragami's shots, she narrowly avoided being skewered by another Cocoon Maiden, growling as her efforts of taking out the mobile monsters has been hindered. However, it does give her an idea as she landed behind one of the insectoid monsters, deploying her weapon's Devour Function to dig into the beetle before keeping it in place to take the hits from the statue like Aragami.

The sound of shots piercing through flesh satisfied her as the Dreadpike she has in her God Arc's grip took the hits intended for her, and once the Cocoon Maidens gave pause, she took her opportunity. With the hostage Aragami, she flung the beast towards the immobile beasts as another Dreadpike had burrowed into the ground. Feeling the surface rumble underneath her feet, she smirked as she jumped up in the air as the insectoid popped out before swinging her God Arc, severing its face and horn off in the process.

Just as she was about to land, she noticed that she was over another Cocoon Maiden that had appeared and, feeling confident, swung her body in the air before bringing her blade down, cleaving the monster in half as its core was destroyed. Now on her feet again, she flicked her God Arc to her side, stopping another one of the insectoid Aragami in its tracks before pulling the weapon out of its flesh. Flicking the blood off of her weapon, another roar caused her to sigh out before jumping over another one of the small beasts before impaling the blade into its backside, earning a pained shriek from the overgrown beetle.

"Honestly, is that all you can do," she taunts. "You charge and burrow, but that's it. There's no variety in your attacks. You have to be more flexible… LIKE THIS!"

Pulling her God Arc out, she smirked as the Dreadpike began to bleed out from its wound before jumping off of it. Landing on the ground, she immediate rushed towards the injured beast beast before gripping its horn and, augmented by the Oracle Cells in her body thanks to the Armlet given to her by the Kurogane Orochi, tossed the beast towards its brethren. She watched with a s smirk as the other Dreadpikes impaled the wounded beast before facing another Cocoon Maiden. She barely jumped out of the way as the immobile creature opened up its body, revealing spikes that came out of it before closing back up.

With that knowledge, she lured yet another insectoid Aragami towards the statuesque Aragami before moving away, satisfied as she heard the Cocoon Maiden skewer the Dreadpike before striking out at the monsters. Using the Devour function of her God Arc, she pushed into their flesh before withdrawing with two cores in its mouth before backing away from the corpses, admiring her work. Turning to face what was left of her horde, she can't help but wonder how Elena is handling her group of Aragami.

As for the girl in question, all around her were bodies of the deceased Aragami as she had moved from the outer courtyard to what appears to be the Academy library. Having already dealt with the Aragami from the outside, she had opted to tackle any incoming Dreadpikes and Cocoon Maidens that would pop up around her as she had moved to the interior. Like her mother, she thought the same thing as she skewered two of the insectoid monsters before tossing them towards a herd of Cocoon Maidens, shifting her Kurogane into the Blast gun before firing a Blood Bullet at the downed beasts while looking at a faraway Dreadpike ready to charge towards her.

"Oh, you want a piece of me too," she taunted before smirking, beckoning the monster to come over. "Then take your best shot, you overgrown bug."

Roaring in defiance, the small-scale Aragami charged towards her at its top speed, pointing its horn at her in the off chance of penetrating through her body. However, it was what she had in mind as she slightly crouched down while keeping the smirk on her face. Just as it had reached her position, she jumped to the side as the Dreadpike impacted the surface behind her, leaving it stuck on the wall as the girl had impersonated a Matador with the monster as the bull.

"Aww, what's wrong little guy," she jokingly questioned as the monster desperately tried to free itself from its predicament. "It's your fault you fell for the oldest trick in the book." Her smirk only grew as she shifted her God Arc back to a blade before priming it to strike. "Don't take it personal. We both know it was gonna end this way."

With that being said, she ended the creature's life as she cleaved through its body before unleashing the Artificial Aragami into its flesh, fishing out its core in the process. How she killed the Aragami was broadcasted over to the APC where the girls had quite a laugh at the Dreadpike's demise, especially when it embedded itself into the wall. Out of them all, Ruby was laughing the hardest as she held on to Yang for support as Summer struggled not to smile over Elena's antics.

"Teru, add this to the list of crazy plans Elena used on the Aragami," Lindow sighed out, shaking his head while rubbing his neck. "And with that, I have lost count of how many of those stunts she performed while out on the field."

"It's a Rose Trait, I'm sure," Glynda groans out. "Bad enough Miss Rose had rode on a Nevermore during Initiation, but her God Eater sister taunted a monster before killing it." She then glared at Summer, seeing the Ex-Marduk shy away from her. "I blame you for that trait."

"Come on, you can't blame me for how they act," the woman meekly let out.

"Tell me, how many ridiculous plans have you made during your days as a student." She only got Summer looking away for an answer as she groaned out loud, rubbing her eyes as well. "That's what I thought. Next time, admit your faults."

"But I have nothing to admit," was all that Summer muttered out quietly, though Blake heard her due to her hidden cat ears underneath the ribbon as Teruomi called out.

"Aragami numbers have been contained," he announced while typing in the terminal. "You made that job look easy, you two. Prepare for extraction."

"Copy that," they heard Elena answer as they watched her fish out the cores from the Dreadpike corpses. "We'll be over at the courtyard."

"Ready to admit you lost today, Elena," Raven calls out on the communicator as the observers sighed out.

"I don't know, I think I have the win in the bag."

"Tough talk, coming from you. You definitely are my kid."

"Alright, that's enough," they paused as Lindow cuts in on their conversation. "You can continue this back at the branch. Grab any Cores that survived and be ready to head out."

"OK, old man," was all Elena said as they shut off the communications.

"Well, at least we don't have to worry about our convoys being ambushed anymore," they heard Teru comment with a smirk as he submitted the visuals over to the Den.

"Still would appreciate if they kept the banter to a minimum," the Veteran replies.

"Come on, they're spending some time to know each other further. You can't Blame them for—" Before he could finish, the APC's alarms began to blare out, surprising him and the other as he looked over the terminal. "What the hell… We got a Large incoming bogey on an approach towards Blood Alpha and Raven… and it's coming in fast."

"What the hell?" Cursing himself, the Cradle God Eater looked over Teru's shoulder as a new wave of information came in. "This doesn't make sense… why would it suddenly make a move now."

"No idea. At its current speed, it will reach their location soon."

Back to the Branwens, both Elena and Raven had rendezvoused back where they started their hunt on the Dreadpikes, but as they greeted one another, the ground rumbled underneath their feet, surprising the two. It eventually subsided soon afterwards, but the God Eaters were now uneasy of their surroundings, hoping that it was just a normal earthquake. After a few more seconds, they relented to relax, easing their stances in the process.

"That… that was an odd earthquake, wasn't it," Raven muttered out, observing her surroundings. "That was an earthquake, right?"

"It better have been," Elena commented. "I'd hate to think of it as an earthquake, and next thing you know, an Aragami appears."

"Better keep an open mind then."

"Right…" As soon as she joined her mother in looking around the Academy Ruins, the ground rumbled underneath them once again, stronger than the last time before her eyes widen. "SHIT, OUT OF THE WAY!"

Her warning came too late as the surface they stood on erupted, sending the two Branwens in the air before crashing on the ground, wincing out in pain as the rocks impacted around them. However, when Raven slowly got back up, she looked over to where they once stood, and her eyes widened as a silhouette of a Vajra variant became visible in the smoke. The silhouette's form became clearer to her as blood red eyes glowed from where the face was and, as she groaned while getting back on her feet, the beast roars out to her, dispersing the dirt clouds surrounding it and revealing itself to her.

While its form was similar to that of the Vajra and the Prithvi Mata, she can't help but shake as the monster's almost as black as the bodies of the Creatures of Grimm, but it wasn't what scared her. Instead, it was the fact that the beast had a face of a bearded human male as a menacing smile was adorned on it. Backing away, her eyes locked onto the monster's blood red eyes as the Aragami stalked towards her, its mouth watering with saliva.

"Ugh, what a case of déjà vu," she heard Elena mutter out as the young girl looked over to her, gasping as the monster looked over to her as well. "A Dyaus Pita, huh? You don't look so tough."

She followed her words with a pained chuckle as she got back on her feet, only for the beast to mimic what sounded like laughter before its body's capes arched with red lightning. What followed was the Dyaus Pita roaring out as bladed wings sprouted out of its back, followed by surges or red lightning striking the ground around it. Elena was confident that she can take on Dyaus Pitas, but the monster in front of her was far from the ones she's killed before.

The fear of witnessing Dyaus Pita was shared among the observers in the APC as the girls shook in place, their eyes locked on the screen showing it in its full glory. Rumors of the strongest creatures of Grimm back on Remnant have now paled to them in comparison of the Aragami they're seeing on the visuals, and the bladed wings showed them that it means business. All that RWBY, Glynda and Summer could do is watch from the APC as the monster stalked towards the duo of Elena and Raven while Lindow cursed out.

"Dammit," he mutters out. "Why did that Bastard have to make a reappearance."

"Lindow, is that…," he heard Teru question out but not finishing the thought.

"Yeah, that monster right there is the Dark Emperor itself, the ones the Heavenly Fathers share the name when they disappeared… Death incarnate, the True Dyaus Pita."

"Then… that means the Dyaus Pitas from before…"

"They're just pale imitations… monsters that yearn to be like it. They're only powerful because their defence becomes stronger while Activated." Narrowing his eyes, the Cradle God Eater pointed at the creature on screen as he continues. "But That Dyaus Pita… It earned its moniker of the Dark Emperor. Just one of them is capable of wiping out squads of God Eaters… as well as removing my Armlet three years ago."

"Wait, that thing is responsible for your arm being the way it is," Summer pleaded before fearing for the two Branwens. "No, we just got those two back in our lives."

While the group worried for both Elena and Raven and how the two will deal with the new obstacle, the two Branwens in question had regrouped while staring down at the menacing Aragami. Elena has only heard of reports of the Dyaus Pita variant in front of her, about how only one of them can devastate convoys and butcher dozens of human survivors out in the wilds. She's trying to think of a plan to deal with the one in front of her, but because she only fought other Vajra Variants, the Dyaus Pita with the bladed wings was new territory for her.

"Okay, this one is new for me," she heard Raven speak out in a shaken tone. "I don't suppose you have a plan for this one, right?"

"Trying to think of one," she answers back, backing away with her mother while the Aragami stalked over. "Being honest here… I never fought that version of Dyaus Pita before."

"Wait, WHAT?"

Before the girl could reply back, the monster roars out before pouncing towards them, causing the two Branwens to barely jump away from its impact point. However, the monster had anticipated the move before focusing on Elena as its left bladed wing coursed with electricity before lashing it at her, shocking her as it made impact on her body. She was thankful that the blades haven't dug into her flesh, but the force behind the hit was enough to make her cough out before it sent her flying into the wall of the ruins.

It growled in satisfaction before turning to face Raven, who ran towards it with her God Arc in hand ready to cut through its flesh. However, Dyaus Pita roared out in defiance before intercepting her Gevaudan with its wing, locking it in place and stunning her thoughts before it pushed her back. She didn't get the opportunity to retaliate as the Vajra variant swiped her away with its claw, sending her several feet before crashing onto the ground.

Just as it was about to pounce on her, it suddenly roared out as a Blast Round impacted it in the rear legs, forcing it to look back to where Elena is with her God Arc's gun barrel smoking. Groaning, the girl pulled the trigger as several more rounds soared towards her target, only for the Dyaus Pita to jump out of the way just as the rounds were about to make impact. Just as she was about to take aim once again, the Deusphage Aragami roars out as six concentrated bolts of red electricity appeared before unleashing them at her, forcing her to dodge all but one of the blasts.

The concentrated orb of lightning impacting her body resulted in her screaming out in pain as she crashed back onto the ground, her body twitching from the bolts invading her bloodstream. The Dyaus Pita then switched its focus back onto Raven as she struggled to get back on her feet before pouncing onto her, knocking her back on the ground before pinning her down on the ground with its paw. Applying pressure onto her body, the sound of the Branwen woman screaming in pain satisfied the Aragami as it roars out in her face, showing its maw to her and inciting more fear in her.

"Get… the hell off of her… YOU BASTARD," the Aragami turned to see Elena rush towards it, this time with her arm blades unleashed and ready to strike. Getting off of Raven, the monster lets out another roar before rushing towards her before unleashing its wing blades, seeing them lock in place with the girl's Aragami embedded weapon and placing them in a stalemate. However, the Aragami had the upper advantage as it removed its limbs off of the girl's arm blades before charging its own blades with electricity, spinning around before slamming her stomach with its limb.

Just as she was about to sail back to the ground, the pitch black Aragami reversed its spin as its other Blade wing impacted her once more before knocking her to the ground, at the mercy of the Deusphage. Groaning, the Blood Captain desperately tried to get back up on her feet, wincing out from the pain dealt to her by the monster, only to pause mid way as the surface around her gained an ominous red tint while the Dyaus Pita chuckled menacingly. Realizing what it was about to do, she broke off into a sprint before the Aragami roars out, causing the area around the girl to be engulfed by its blood red lightning and catching her in its attack.

Its attack eventually ended as the girl collapsed onto the ground, allowing the beast to give out a roar of victory over the downed God Eaters. This was viewed with shock and fear by the people in the APC as Ruby, Yang and Summer were scared for the Branwens while Glynda, Weiss and Blake backed away from witnessing Dyaus Pita's power. Being the one that knows an unwinnable fight, Lindow clenched his armored hand in a fist before going for his God Arc.

"Wait, Lindow, where are you going," he stopped as he heard Teru call out to him. "Aren't you supposed to be watching over these girls."

"That plan went out the window the moment that fucker showed up," Lindow seethed out, taking a deep breath. "I'm not allowing any of my Fellow God Eaters die to Dyaus Pita. I'll go on the field, blind it with a flashbang, grab Elena, Raven and their God Arcs, and we high tail it back to the Den."

"What, and leave a dangerous beast to roam," Glynda questioned. "I thought your job was to kill those things."

"DYAUS PITA IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER!" His outburst had surprised those within the armored vehicle as he spoke out, with memories of a similar Dyaus Pita tearing his armlet off three years ago replayed. "THAT BASTARD IS THE VERY EMBODIMENT OF DESTRUCTION. WE WERE BARELY LUCKY WITH KILLING THE FEW OF THEM THREE YEARS AGO, AND EVEN THAT HAD TAKEN A TOLL ON US."

"Lindow," Ruby quietly squeaks out as the man spoke out.

"Besides, we're not just leaving that bastard to roam. Once we get back to the Den, I'm coming back out with Ayane, Kota and Alisa. We have experience against the Dark Emperor before, albeit with more than just a few scars."

"But…" Yang started to say, only to be cut off by the man.

"Trust me, it's better to leave it to those that Can kill it."

"I don't know… what do you think, mom," Ruby speaks out as she looks to Summer, only be confused as she saw her fixated on the broadcast. "Mom?"

Summer didn't hear her daughter as she kept gazing at the footage of the Dyaus Pita's strength over Elena and Raven, fearing for their lives as the monster stalked over towards one of the downed God Eaters. Her mind flashed back to Seventeen years ago, where she thought that she was going to be late to rescue the newborn Elena from Dr. Van Claude. Just as she was about to look away, she felt a deep beating within her heart, making her blank out as an ominous voice echoed in her mind.

"Are you going to abandon them to their deaths," she heard the voice in her head. "Are you going to stand their and watch as they get devoured? Are you going to live with the guilt, having to abandon a teammate you trust with your life and the girl with your blood?"

"I don't want to… but I can't face that thing," she mentally told herself, only to wince out as a headache formed.

"You foolish pack of flesh and bones," it chastises. "If you were once a human being, that would have been true. However… you know that deep inside, you're no longer human."

"You're wrong."

"Am I? FACE THE FACTS. YOU STOPPED BEING HUMAN THE MOMENT YOU CAME BACK FROM MY CONTROL." She gasped as her mindscape had the form of the Marduk she faced for a Decade reappearing as it spoke. "You know it, the God Eaters know it, EVEN YOUR FRIEND KNOWS IT, AND THEY STILL ACCEPT YOU. Are you truly a human… or are you so much more? A Cross between Human and Aragami?"

"I…"

"If you desire to save those two… then go, and inform Dyaus Pita why the Psions are a powerful breed."

"Mom," she finally heard her daughter call out to her, gasping as she looked at her as she spoke. "Are you OK."

"Yeah… I'm fine… and I have something to do," the Rose Matriarch answers, ruffling her hair before glaring at the broadcast. "Make sure nobody leaves. I'm going to get them back."

"Wait, what," was all that the young girl could say as she saw her mom leave the APC, passing by Lindow as he kept arguing with the others before breaking off in a sprint. "Mom…" Gulping, Ruby turned to face the broadcast as Dyaus Pita loomed closer to Elena. "Please hurry."

Groaning was all she could do as Elena desperately tried to get back on her feet, she can certainly feel the vibrations on the surface as the menacing Aragami came closer to her. Turning around to face the monster, she wheezed out from the pain it made her go through from its blade wings to its electricity, knowing that this monster was not to be trifled with. Giving out a weakened chuckle, the girl glared at the monster as she wore a defeated smirk on her face.

"Guess this is it," she muttered to herself. "Sorry girls… Your sister isn't coming back home tonight."

Resigning herself to her fate, she closed her eyes as the Dyaus Pita got up on its hind legs, its blade wings ready to strike as she clenched her hands into fists before it lashed out. The blow never came however, as all she felt the gust of wind from the attack as her ears heard the beast roar out. Opening up one eye, she gazed over to ask what was taking so long, only to gasp in surprise as she regained her sights.

Standing in front of her, with her hands gripping on the Blade Wings of the Deusphage, was Summer Rose, and the woman was keeping the beast from landing the killing blow. She was surprised to see her other mom come in to the fight, but she was at least grateful for the thought as Dyaus Pita roars out in defiance, trying to wrestle its wings free. Turning her head, the woman's eyes landed into her blood related daughter as a smile formed on her face.

"Get back on your feet, Elena," she calls out to her, keeping a firm grip on the Aragami's blades. "You shouldn't lie down on the job." Seeing her nod, she witnessed Elena go to pick up the God Arc before the monster's roars got to her. "I apologize for interrupting, but I would appreciate it if you kept your mouth shut. Forgive my language, but as Raven would say…" her grip on the beast's blade wings tightened as she narrowed her eyes. "Shut… the FUCK UP… BITCH!"

Pulling the wings back to her, she surprises the Dyaus Pita with the action before letting go of the limbs, channeling power in one of her legs before unleashing a kick in its face. The blow resulted in the monster roaring out as it sailed away from Summer, impacting the surface of the ruins on its back and surprising the woman of her newfound strength. She was shaken out of it when Elena rushed over to help Raven on her feet before rendezvousing with her other mother, looking at the smoke where the Deusphage crashed.

"Sonuva…" she heard Elena mutter in shock. "Did you actually do that?"

"I… I don't know," the woman admits before tensing as the Aragami's roar was heard.

"We'll save it for later," Raven cuts in, gripping her God Arc as Dyaus Pita disperses the smoke with its wing blades. "We have company."

"I know." Frowning in thought, the young Branwen gasped as an idea formed in her head before looking at the two women. "I have an idea. Can you two stall it for time?"

(Cue GOD EATER 2: RAGE BURST OST – BLOOD RAGE)

Seeing the resolve on her face, both the Elder Branwen and the Ex-Marduk nodded before steeling themselves for the conflict as the monster stalked towards them before breaking off in a sprint. Surprised by their actions, the Aragami roars in defiance before engaging them, allowing Elena to clear her mind as she brought her God Arc closer to her. As she did, she thought back to the fight against the World Closer, remembering the one tactic that aided in the battle before gaining her focus.

'The Blood Rage,' she thought to herself, hearing the battle between her mothers against the Dark Emperor. 'It requires a steady mind as the God Arc activates a boost unlike the Burst Status. If I use it now, I'll be exhausted beyond belief. But this bastard will not be easy. I have to use it.'

Taking a deep breath, her thoughts became clear before opening her eyes, the Oracle Cells within her activating the system built in the God Arc before exploding in a golden light. The Cells coated her Kurogane as wings made out of crystal appeared over her back, her whole body surging with power before concentrating. With her God Arc in hand, Elena's red eyes slit as a golden ring formed around her irises, now waiting for the opportunity to strike.

Meanwhile, the tag team of Raven and Summer engaging the Dyaus Pita began to heat up as the two women made their strike on the Deusphage, with the one holding the God Arc getting behind the beast before striking at its hind legs while the other kept its focus on her. Enraged, the Aragami swung its wing blades at the Ex-Marduk intending to kill, only for the target in question to leap over its attacks before kicking it in the face, stunning the beast. Due to living a decade as an Aragami, Summer's body is overflowing with Oracle Cells, allowing her to go toe to toe against the monster as she landed blow after blow on the Dark Emperor.

Just as the Aragami was about swipe her away with its claw, it was halted as Raven unleashed her God Arc's Devour function on its rear leg, pulling it back and forcing it to stumble onto the ground. The monster roars out in defiance as she lets go of it before dashing towards the front, digging her blade into its side before cutting deep into its flesh and drawing blood out of it. Just as she got to its face, the Branwen swung Gevaudan right into its eye, only for the beast to retaliate as it bit down on the blade, stopping it in its tracks.

Seeing her struggle to free her God Arc, Dyaus Pita chuckles out as it got back up before chucking the woman up in the air above it along with her weapon. Roaring out, the pitch black Aragami channelled the area around it with red electricity with the intention of electrocuting the helpless God Eater. However, Summer appears over it before gripping its face, breaking its focus before smashing it to the surface and allowing her partner to correct herself before landing on her feet.

Just as the monster growls out before lashing out at Summer, the woman lets go of its face before kicking it right on its nose, feeling the strength of her hit as the Aragami skids back a few feet as Raven shifted her God Arc into a Sniper Rifle. While she was more entuned to blades, the Branwen knew when is a good opportunity to take a shot as she fired a Divine Round right at its head. Just as she thought, the bullet pierced through the monster's hide as it shrieked out in pain, surprising the two women before steeling themselves.

Retaliating, the Deusphage roars out before creating another wave of concentrated red electricity orbs before hurling them towards the two STRQ members, causing them to move out of the way to avoid being electrocuted. That however was what Dyaus Pita intended as it rushed after Raven, coating its blade wings with its electricity before swinging them down on her, striking her in the back as her Aura took the brunt of the hit before shattering. The phenomenon surprised the monster for a bit before smacking the woman down to the ground, satisfied with taking her down before focusing on Summer.

However, in the midst of the chaos, it suddenly felt a deep cut through its tail, earning a shriek from the beast as a gold stream flew over to Summer, revealing itself to be Elena under the effects of Blood Rage. Surprised by her appearance, the Rose matriarch watched as the girl sped over to the Dyaus Pita before cutting through its back legs, making it stumble back down to the ground as she got Raven back up on her feet. Just as she did, the Aragami defiantly unleashed a torrent of electricity after her, causing the two Branwens to move out of the way as it got back on its feet.

Just as they fought, Ruby and the others had watched in awe as the battle had taken a sudden turn on the field, even more so with Elena's sudden change. Lindow and Teru however knew about what has happened, having witnessing her test the Blood Rage back when it was just a concept. Just seeing her use it against a threat such as Dyaus Pita must mean that the situation was dire enough to use its full power.

"What happened to her," both God Eater and Operator turned to face Yang as she asked out. "Why is Elena suddenly like this?"

"She deactivated the God Arc's restrictions, unleashing what is known as Blood Rage," Teru answers her. "From what I heard, it's still undergoing refinement for normal use. If Elena is using it… and at full power…"

"She's going to end up exhausted when this is over," Lindow finishes before smirking. "But it works out. Dyaus Pita is done for."

Just as he had predicted, the Blood Rage fueled Elena, joined by Raven and Summer engaged the Dark Emperor as the monster swung towards them, only for the three of them to dodge in separate directions as Elena jumped over the beast before striking its tail once more, breaking the bonds within it and earning a shriek of pain from it. Just as she did, she unleashed her Kurogane's Devour function on the shattered tail before landing behind it, pulling it down with her strength and forcing the beast to the surface. Upset by the turn around, the beast elected to surround itself in red lightning, hoping to catch them in its attack.

"Is that all you have, Dyaus Pita," it paused as Elena taunted out, her voice echoed by the Blood Rage system. "It's starting to get old."

Enraged by her taunt, the Aragami got back on its feet before charging after the young God Eater, its maw open to chomp on her flesh. Smirking, the girl disappeared right in front of it as Raven was behind it, already thrusting her God Arc right into its mouth and cutting deep inside of it and earning another shriek of pain. Using her strength, the bandit leader roars her lungs out as she pulled the Blade out, drawing a significant amount of blood out of the Deusphage as well as shattering the bonds within the head.

Whimpering, the menacing Aragami shrieks out before turning its back on them, rushing away to find some food to regain its strength. It was stopped in its tracks despite its speed as Summer took hold of its ruined tail before flipping it on its back, delivering it back to Elena and Raven with their God Arcs set to Devour. Rushing to them, the woman took the liberty to deliver a blow to its rear leg via an Oracle Cell powered kick, shattering it in the process.

Hearing it shriek out in pain, the three assembled fighters can only glare at the monster as it struggled to get back on its feet while suffering from the pain. Just as it got back up, the Aragami primed its bladed wings for a desperate struggle before lashing them out at the three, only for Elena and Raven to block them with their God Arcs' shields while Summer jumped over it, landing on its back before gripping the limbs from the base. Feeling her trying to interfere, the Aragami shook its body as the woman began to pull, trying to get her off of it while channeling enough electricity to kill.

However, just as it was about to make the attack, Summer successfully pulled off the Bladed wings out of its back before jumping off, causing the beast to shriek out once more as blood poured out of its wound. With it distracted, the young Elena rushed in with the speed bestowed to her by the Blood Rage system, but she was caught off guard as the Dyaus Pita managed to strike her back with its front paw, even drawing a bit of her blood in the process. Despite the Sudden strike from the Aragami, the God Eater chucked her Kurogane at the beast's front legs, seeing the blade cut through and destroy the bonds within them as the monster collapses on the ground.

Just as the God Arc landed on the surface, the girl crashed on her back as Summer came to help her up while Raven smirked at the downed and weakened Dyaus Pita. As the Ex-Marduk and the experienced God Eater regrouped with her, they can tell that the monster was on its last legs, no longer having the strength it once possessed. Just as Raven was about to end its misery, Elena held her arm in front of the woman, making her look at the girl in wonder.

"It ain't right if we were the ones to take the Core," she informs her before looking towards Summer. "If anyone deserves to grab it… it would be her. Summer came in and did the impossible."

"Wha—me," the woman in questioned gasped out, surprised before shaking her head. "But, I'm not like you two… I don't have a… God Arc thingy like you two."

"You don't need to. You just lash your fist into its face and grab the core." Chuckling, the girl scratched her chin as she nervously smiled. "I mean, I've done it before while undergoing Aragami Infection… though I have little recollection of when that happened."

"The point is, you've more than earned it, Summer," Raven tells her. "If it weren't for you, I doubt Elena and I would have survived that Dyaus Pita's assault."

Pondering on her words, the Ex-Marduk couldn't help but think back to when she intercepted the Deusphage's attack from killing Elena the first time. If she was a little honest, she would say that she had a minor thrill from fighting against the Dark Emperor, making any hunt against the Creatures of Grimm pale in comparison to the Aragami's power. Nodding to herself, she walked over to the weakened Aragami just as it was able to get back on its feet before lashing her fist into its face, causing the monster to shriek out before pulling back and dragging her along.

Stomping around the ruined Academy with the woman holding on, the Dark Emperor shook its head around with the hopes of forcing her off of it, but Summer proved to be more difficult as she clung to its face with her life. Thrashing around, it can feel her hand dig through its flesh as she searched for the core,, making it desperate to force her off by any means necessary. Feeling its life about to fade away, the Dyaus Pita began to surround itself in red lightning, but it was fruitless as she found the orb within it before gripping it in her hand, pushing herself off the monster while ripping out out.

The end result was the Dyaus Pita letting out one last roar as its electricity struck the surface around it, collapsing onto the ground as a lifeless corpse as summer landed in front of Raven and Elena. Out of breath, the adrenaline inside of her wore off as the former Aragami gazed at the core she took out of the Deusphage before looking at the others. Both Branwens have given the woman nods of encouragement as Summer smiled before gazing at the Dyaus Pita's Core and, without hesitation, crushed the object in her hand.

Once she did, the shards that have scattered initially eventually went onto her arm before getting absorbed into her being, and for a moment, Summer felt like she has gotten stronger. At the same time, the corpse of the Aragami dispersed into Oracle Cells before scattering, and Elena's Blood Rage system eventually shut down, leaving the girl to collapse onto Raven. While alarmed, the girl knew the drawback before wincing, being helped back up by her moms as Lindow erupted from the comm.

"Girls, are you alright down there," they heard him ask through as Raven took the communicator into her hands. "That Dyaus Pita roughed you up early on."

"We're fine, Lindow," the Branwen answers, holding the girl up. "Exhausted and beat up… but we're alive."

"That's great to hear. I'd like to have a word with Summer once you guys get back. She nearly gave me a heart attack when she joined in on the battlefield."

"Just take it easy on her, will you?"

"Copy." Hearing a sigh on his end, the woman shrugged over to the others as he spoke up. "Either way, I'm just glad you made it out of that fight alive. I was about to drag your asses back to the Den myself."

"Yeah, yeah. We're just about ready for the lecture. Just get that extraction ready for us, will you?"

"You got it. Cradle Eater, out."

Shutting off the communicator, the women settled down onto the ground as they lowered their God Arcs, relaxing as they waited for their Evac to make it to them. Raven chuckled out loud as she gazed at the Gevaudan, glad to have a weapon of her own to fight Aragami with. Looking up the horizon, the woman spotted what looked like three humanoid figures before wiping her eyes, only to see them gone.

She didn't think much on it. It was time for her to get back to the Far East Branch.

A/N: I hope I did the fight against the True Dyaus Pita justice.

No word of a lie, this was once scene I was looking forward to typing for a long time while starting this fic for plenty of reasons. One: Dyaus Pita was quite honestly one of the Few Aragami I enjoyed fighting as it provided a challenge, especially with its blade wings. Two: It sucked that this particular monster was not included in God Eater 2: Rage Burst, whereas the Heavenly Father was given its name instead. While it was similar, the main difference was that Heavenly Father didn't have the wings, only a tougher defence while activated. Three, and most importantly: IT IS NOT ARIUS NOVA! It's memorable for the right reasons.

Now, I have not seen the latest Episode from RWBY yet, since I don't have a First Membership, so I just watch them through the reaction videos on Youtube like Freelancer Amber or MurderofBirds. That's how I keep up with the show from now on, but I will say that after all this… Salem's still not an interesting Villian. When you think about it, her conflict with Ozpin and trying to end the world is due to a lover's spat gone overboard. I don't know about you, but she pales in comparison to say, certain villians like Armstrong from MGR: Revengeance or Zinyak from Saints Row IV. At least they have better plans and they were executed well. These are my personal thoughts, so if you do like Salem, that's OK.

Someone please tell me that Cinder will eventually die.

Nexusknight2: I read the ending of the chapter and got some vibes from the movie "John Carpenter's The Thing with the Aragami core. The titular creature from the 1982 film had the ability to assimilate other life forms in order to survive and spread kinda like the oracle cells in the God Eater series. Always made me wonder if the oracle cells are truly extraterrestrial/alien in nature.

So next chapter Elena and Raven are going to deal with the very Dyaus Pita from not only God Eater Resurrection but it's the same one from the God Eater anime?!

I'm like you dude there are certain anime I don't watch due to being busy IRL and some to look forward too later this year.

Well, it's not really the exact same Dyaus Pita, but it is one of the Dark Emperor Variants. I'm honestly glad that God Eater 3 brought that version back, especially with the last update bringing back No Way Back, it's theme from your first fight with it in Resurrection.

Daoist Crystal: Thanks for answering my questions and keep up the good work mr. author. This is just my curiosity but damn i can't wait for more aragami to spill into remnants and a new devouring apocalypse in remnants how will they deal with it ?, will Fenrir open a new branch in remnants ?, will Salem become an aragami ?, if yes i hope Elena and friends can have an epic battle.

Did summer gain some of marduk ability?, what will happen to the team rwby in the far East branch?, well i hope i guess i really a curious person, but you are the best author, good luck.

I can't really answer those questions right now. That would be spoiling the surprise.

Next chapter will dive deeper into what happened to Summer after a decade long existence of being a Marduk. For know, just know that she can now join in the fight against the Aragami without the need of the God Arc, instead relying on her fists and feet. (I honestly don't know what she actually fights with, CRWBY never told us. Creative Liberty at work here).

Ether02: What my answer to Blake's question about coexistence with the Aragami would have been, "Can you coexist with the grim?"

The only good Aragami is a humanoid Aragami, like the little bundle of cute that is Phym

You forgot about Shio from God Eater: Resurrection, Ether. And we really don't know if there are others like Phym in existence. But no worries, I have a plan for that.

Carre: 1. Keep up the Good Work (Washed Thumbs Up!)

If that is all you have to say, you don't need to have the 1 in there. I'm just happy you're enjoying the fic.

Stratos263: Well shit they are already in Remnant. I bet there will be more showing up.

I can't say anything, otherwise I would be spoiling the surprise. You're just going to have to wait and see.

Rairi Valelira: Idk if im just going crazy but I saw the title and thought of a rwby and a crossover of something else... yet here its a god eater crossover and the same fanfic I favorited years ago. Just gonna check myself into an asylum now.

No, don't go to the asylum, Rairi. I'm glad you favorited this. It means a lot to me as it motivates me to work even harder. Thank you so much for checking out this fic, and I hope you enjoyed it.

Just one more chapter left to go. I'm sad that this is coming to an end, but no worries, I have a sequel in mind being planned out. Be sure to look forward to it.

I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. What do you think? Leave a Favorite, Follow and Review.

With that out of the way, I'm BlazefireDrago, signing out— *hears a distinct roar in the distance* OH COME ON, NOT AGAIN, ARIUS NOVA!
