Chapter 38: Don't Stop Believing In Us

~JULY 2ND, 2017~

It was 7:15AM. Katsuma, Ashley, Troy and Burnie were at a beach to do something important.

"Are you sure this is the right spot to dispose of this arrow?" Katsuma wondered.

"Do you think someone else is gonna do something evil to it?" Ashley asked.

"Yes and maybe not." Burnie replied. "Jocelyn took care of Angel and he is no longer part of this world, so throwing the Requiem Arrow in the ocean will make a difference."

Ashley then looks down at the arrow she was holding.

"From Joshua to Rhadaman." Ashley said. "You went from saving us to almost killing us. (Takes a deep breath and gets out As The Dragonfly Flies) Farewell."

As The Dragonfly Flies then holds the arrow and starts to prepare itself. It then threw the arrow away with great strength. The arrow then went into the water and to the bottom of the ocean.

"(Sighs) Ok, the arrow is gone." Ashley said. "Now what?"

Everyone was silent.

"Let's try and look for Jocelyn." Burnie said. "She told us that she went to a cemetery today, so we'll see which one is which.

In a graveyard called Corner Cemetery, Jocelyn and Iz were walking around, looking for certain graves to go and look at.

"Where could they be?" Iz wonders.

"(Reads the tombstones) Ah! I found it." Jocelyn said. "Joshua Joestar… January 20th, 1978 to June 28th, 2017... Next to my father is… My mother… Lady Auntie Bellum… April 16th, 1978 to June 28th, 2017… (Sadly sighs) I'll miss them… Mom… Dad..."

"Sounds like you're gonna cry."

"(Sniffs and takes a deep breath) I was."

When Iz gets up, Jocelyn was still kneeling and praying.

"I guess I'll leave you be." Iz said as she walked over to see Clayton and Kaihekoa's graves. "(Kneels) Clayton Lovato… Born April 24th, 2001 to June 23rd, 2017… I feel so bad for his family… (Looks at Kaihekoa) Kaihekoa Allen… Born May 11th, 2001 to June 23rd, 2017… I had a crush on him… I wanted him to confess his feelings to me… But that's not gonna happen, apparently…"

Then, Iz sees a car pulling up to the cemetery.

"Huh? Who could that be?" Iz wonders.

Ashley then got out of the car with a letter in her hands.

"It's Miss Grain…" Iz said as she got up. "Wonder what's she doing here…"

Jocelyn then gets up and sees Ashley, Katsuma, Troy and Burnie. She walks over to them.

"Hey…" Jocelyn said. "I did tell you that I was gonna be here with Iz…"

"We know." Ashley said. "We forgot to give you this yesterday. It showed up to our house on June 27th."

Ashley then handed Jocelyn a letter.

"Do I open it?" Jocelyn asked.

"Yes." Ashley replied as she held her laughter.

Jocelyn opened the letter and read it.

"Jocelyn… Even though our final days might be approaching, just know that we'll always remember you and we'll always love you… Don't stop believing in us down there. (Feels tears in her eyes) Mom… Dad…" Jocelyn said as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "(Sniffs) They died the day after they gave us this letter… (Looks at her parents graves) Mom… Dad… I'll never stop believing in you…"

Jocelyn then hugs Ashley.

"Shit… I really need to suck it up." Jocelyn said as she sniffs again. "(Sighs) I guess I have enough crying for now."

Jocelyn then got in the car.

"I'll be with Iz." Burnie said. "And if you want, I can try and like, hang out with you niece if she's feeling better. Let me know."

"We'll let you know." Katsuma said.

"Ok, thanks."

Burnie then walks to Iz.

"Maybe you and Jocelyn are the couple I was hoping for." Iz said.

"What?" Burnie wonders.

"You helped her take down Roland and Angel."

"If you can count as helping, then sure…"

Burnie blushed.

"Heh heh… I'll be on my way." Iz said.

"Same here." Burnie said.

Iz and Burnie then waved goodbye to one another and walked away from each other. They then saw the car the Joestars were in drived away. They waved goodbye to them.

"Best of luck to you, Jocelyn Joestar." Iz said with a smile on her face. "Don't stop believing in us…"
