Fuiasu nodded, the seamstress left and Kagome squealed in delight. The child dashed over to her side and threw her arms around her thighs. Smiling absently, the Lady patted her head. "Go play," she said softly, nudging the girl out of the room.
"Tank you Mama!"
Then the child was gone, dashing out of the room before any corrections could be made. Sighing, she turned back to her desk and once more looked over the letter she had received from the Northern Lady. Fuiasu had never liked the dragon, often found her rude and intolerable beyond belief. When Toga had signed the alliance treaty four years ago though, it had included Ryūkotsusei's mate. She could not snub the Lady without causing potential harm to an already tenuous peace between the two Lands.
Now, she was forced to allow the Lady to come to her home for a 'tea party,' as the lady dragon had worded it. What it would of course be was an attempt at spying, to glean information that so far, no other spy had been able to attain. For the most part, the Dragon was rather…unintelligent but she had moments when the clarity and striking sense of her words left one wondering if maybe the appearance of stupidity was naught but an act. A very well played act that allowed her to learn and to listen without being suspected.
