Cold Case Time

- Dipper's POV -

I walked into the living room's arch, hearing the news from the tv. I gazed over at my two grunkles, who were sitting on the couch, listening in with concerned looks. I leaned on the arch, looking back at the tv, watching the lady on the screen explain a report. ''A teenager who was at the age of 17 disappeared on the night of Halloween. What are the possibilities of a teenager going missing on a night full of terror?'' The lady reporter asked.

''I don't know, Ms. Jones, but I bet the spooks scared her out of her costume.'' The male reporter barked a laugh, making me grumble. I hate this town's news station, it's terrible.

''Back to the report, some witnesses stated she disappeared off into the jungle to never return. Others mentioned a kidnap that took place, but it's been years since the last one. By now, I think we all know where this is going.'' The lady reporter said.

''The last teenagers must have been long gone by now. There's no way she's coming back alive.'' The male reporter said. I fumed with anger, storming out of the arch. I then heard one of my grunkles shout in rage, probably at the tv. As I said, I hate the news station here. They treat it like a joke or some shit. The disappearance of a teen or kidnapping are both horrible, and I'm sure as hell no one wants to treat it as a joke. I swear they're ignorant. I shook my head before taking a sip of my coffee. I stepped into the gift shop area, where Mabel was there with Pacifica, who she invited over. I let out a sigh, calming myself down. ''Nothing about the police finding her?'' I heard my sister ask.

''I couldn't stand there long enough to hear if they were going to send a search party.'' I answered with a grunt.

''I wish I could, then I would know too.'' Pacifica said. Soon after, she let out a frustrated sigh. ''I swear, why do they treat it like a joke?''

''I don't know, but it's not! She could be hurt or worse.'' Mabel said, fuming with anger. ''I like my news station back home.''

''They must have given up on the whole cold case that people keep mentioning around town.'' Pacifica said, shaking her head. ''It wouldn't be a cold case if the policemen here snap some thinking process and find out what happened to her!''

''I bet they're too scared to even venture into the jungle; maybe that's why they're not doing it.'' I guessed with an irritated expression.

''Maybe so...'' The blonde trailed off, frowning.

''Well, I hope we're not going to wait around like those freaks. We gotta help too!'' Mabel said, replacing her anger with determination.

''I agree! But where do we start?'' Pacifica asked, looking at both of us.

''I may have some sheets of the missing teens in my room.'' I said.

''How did you get them? Did you steal-''

''No, I didn't. I asked my teachers to print them out. We can start there to see if they can give us some hints.'' I answered, cutting Mabel off.

''Yeah! Now we just need to see if there are similarities between the ... how many were kidnapped?'' Mabel asked, pausing mid-way in her sentence.

''15 that I know of.'' I answered.

''... 15 ... that may be hard when trying to find any similarities. In fact, are we certain we'll find any?'' Pacifica asked, looking slightly confused.

''... I'm not quite sure on that.'' Mabel mumbled, her brain breaking down slightly.

''There could be... and could not be. This kidnapper- for all we know, is unknown to our presence. If they captured at least 15 teenagers, then they must have used some sort of method to get away without being seen by the police. I can't be certain for sure... but we could at least predict what may have happened.'' I said, choosing my words carefully.

''My only guess is alleyways, where most people wouldn't be found there.'' Pacifica said.

''Yeah... so...- but... that doesn't explain the disappearance of Candy. We all saw her with us that night!'' Mabel said. ''There couldn't be any alleyways, to begin with.''

''You are correct on that matter, but remember, it was Halloween anyone can be anything there. So if you were to dress up as a ghost or a serial killer in this matter, no one would take you seriously because of the holiday special. And adding to the case, some or most people in this town have already lost hope for the teenagers. This gives the kidnapper the best advantage over who they take in with them.'' I explained briefly.

''Oh right... I guess I didn't think about that.'' Mabel muttered quietly.

''Well, why don't we go out and see if we can find some clues.'' Pacifica said. ''We'll be wasting time if we stand here.''

''Good idea! A little walk and asking people around won't hurt at all.'' Mabel said. I nodded, agreeing with the plan. I pour out my coffee and place it in the sink before getting ready and leaving with the two girls. We exited the shack, down the dirt path, and over at the concrete sidewalk. I do hope something around this town can be hinted at in this case instead of sitting still or clouded in their own minds. We soon entered the town, checking places where fewer people were at, asking a few folks around if they saw anything suspicious in the last few years, etc. Although we were young detectives of our own, we wouldn't really have the professional skills to solve it in the first place. But... I believe if someone had enough knowledge to a certain point, I think they can solve it. We stopped once a voice got our attention, seeing it was Lee who was approaching with quick steps. ''Hey! What are you guys up to? I see you checking out the town lately.''

''Oh, hey Lee! We're just trying to find some clues to The Missing Teens case.'' She answered.

''The Missing Teens...?'' He said quietly, his tone and facial expression quickly turned depressed in an instant.

''Is there something wrong?'' Pacifica asked, concern appearing on her face.

''... Yes. It's...'' He stops himself before taking a breathe in and letting it out. ''My older sister is one of them. They said she disappeared last year, "ran away into the jungle" or some crap like that... but... I believe she got kidnapped.'' He said frowning.

''That's devasting. Why do you believe so?'' Mabel asked, looking curious.

''Well... on that night when she was going out with someone. Me and my family question; "Who was her date?" She refuses to tell for some odd reason... stating that her date wanted to keep their identity to themselves.'' He answered.

''That sounds like a red flag.'' I commented, narrowing my eyes.

''That is... very strange. Who would want to keep their identifies to themselves?'' Mabel asked, tilting her head as Pacifica nodded.

''I hope that was enough for your investigation!'' Lee said, bringing back his cheerful state.

''Thank you! Do you wanna tag along?'' Mabel asked.

''Sure! I have nothing better to do.'' Lee answered.

''To add onto that, why don't we get some shakes, you know, take a small break and possibly come up with some ideas.'' Pacifica asked.

''Milkshakes?! Count me in!'' Mabel said, looking over at me. I nodded, agreeing with them. Before Lee told us his clue, we haven't found anything that was suspicious, nor did the folks help. Making us stress that solving this may be troubling on the ride. We all agreed to go to a Shake Diner, where they only make milkshakes there. We soon arrived there as it was only a turn from our original spot. It seemed to be slow on its customers. It wasn't my old job, don't worry. Speaking of which... I might focus on my school work instead of trying to search for another job. I do want to become something other than a cashier. We headed in and ordered the milkshakes that were in our favor. Soon we exited the dine with our shakes several minutes later. ''Will they melt out here?'' Lee asked.

''Not if we drink them down fast enough!'' Mabel answered, having a cheeky smile.

''Not unless you want a brain freeze.'' I said, giving her a look. She turned to me with a nervous smile.

''I'd prefer to enjoy it first.'' Pacifica said before beginning to sip on her banana caramel milkshake.

''Same.'' Lee said, agreeing with the blonde. He had a Chocolate Chip Cookie Milkshake, which makes me regret the choice I picked. Mabel over here had Strawberry Malted Milkshake. And finally, I picked Java Chip Milkshake. I really wished I'd chose a different flavor instead of a coffee milkshake. At least it's better than the plain of my sister's. I sip on it quietly, staring at the chips on the shake. ''How can you drink a coffee milkshake, Dipper?'' I heard Pacifica say.

''He's immune to coffee.'' My sister answered for me. I stop before revealing a smile at her response. ''I like coffee, and I wanted to try it with a milkshake flavor to it. It does taste good, so I wouldn't mind at all. At least it tastes better than that raspberry vanilla drink...'' I grumbled afterward, soon revealing a disgusted look.

''Raspberry vanilla drink?'' Pacifica asked, tilting her head.

''That was one of the drinks at the diner place in that Halloween Festival. It was called a blood drink... Wait, I should have put you in a vampire costume!'' Mabel said, stopping herself mid-sentence and turned to face me. I turned my gaze to glare at her. ''Why did you order it?!''

''I don't know, I got curious.'' I mumbled. ''The soda itself did taste... alright. Better than that eyeball pop.''

''I remember tasting those, they were disgusting!'' Lee said, giving off a disgusted expression.

''Tell me about it.'' I shivered at the past taste.

''You should have gone with the candy pops that they had.'' Pacifica said.

''I should have...'' I said, feeling a little regret. ''But it's in the past, nothing can change that.''

''I could get you one if you like.'' She said.

''Nah, I'm good. Thanks for the offer.'' I said, taking another sip of my shake.

''I can never taste coffee, only juice, and tea.'' Mabel said, disgust for the taste of my coffee. I snickered before looking over at them.

''I can somewhat stand it. I only drink it when I want energy.'' Lee said.

''I like tea better.'' Pacifica said, taking a sip of her shake.

''This is why I'm friends with you! Not for that reason, but I'm glad we came to an agreement.'' Mabel said to Pacifica.

''Oh, so I'm not a friend?'' Lee said frowning.

''You are; I'm just joking around!'' She giggled.

''You better be!'' Lee said before taking a sip of his shake.

''Hey guys, I thought I spotted a familiar bunch!'' All of our heads clocked over to the voice, who appears to be Wendy.

''Hey Wendy!'' Mabel smiled, waving to her.

''Oh! You guys got milkshakes. I love yours Pacifica.'' Wendy said.

''Thank you.'' Pacifica smiled.

''I'd assume your strawberry, right Mabel?'' Wendy asked, turning her gaze to my sister.

''Yep, I love strawberry flavor!'' Mabel answered, chirping at the same time.

''Yours?'' Wendy asked, looking over at Lee.

''Chocolate chip cookie!'' Lee beamed.

''That sounds good! And what do you have, Dipper?'' Wendy asked, turning her gaze at me.

''Coffee milkshake.'' I answered.

''Coffee? It's not morning though.'' She said, raising a brow.

''I can have coffee whatever time it is. At least I gain some energy.'' I said, narrowing my eyes at her.

''Alright, alright. You do you.'' She said before looking at the group. ''So, what are you guys doing out here? Just hanging?''

''Yeah, we're taking a break from our investigation with The Missing Teens.'' Pacifica answered.

''Oh... The Missing Teens. I feel sorry for them every single time I see a missing poster on the buildings. Recently, I've been seeing Candy's... wasn't she with you guys at one point?'' Wendy asked.

''Yes. Even at the Halloween Festival with us!'' Mabel said, her cheerful smile dropping into a frown. ''I miss her so much.''

''Don't worry, we'll find her and get her back!'' Pacifica said.

''That'll be a bit tricky to handle.'' Wendy said.

''Indeed. Especially when we only had one clue.'' Mabel said. ''I never realize it could be this hard.''

''We'll make it through and find all of them.'' I said, reassuring her.

''With you by our side, it may seem effortless for you.'' Pacifica said.

''Well... I can't lie about that.'' I said. Knowing that I have more brains for this than the other two.

''Also, someone is sneaking up to you, Dipper.'' Lee said, making me turn behind me to stare at Kahlil, who glared down Lee. I snickered and moved to the side to let him take a spot. ''Thank you for that, Lee.''

''Don't thank him!'' Kahlil hissed.

''I can do whatever I want, "dear."'' I sneered playfully.

''Sure.'' He grunted before taking my old spot in the group.

''I guess scaring people is your thing.'' Pacifica said.

''It sure is.'' Wendy snickered. I smiled before taking a sip of my shake. ''Anyway, I'm glad it's working out for you guys. You finally got your wish come true, Kahlil.''

''Stop it, you'll make me blush.'' Kahlil said sarcastically.

''I think it's hard to... do that to you. Don't think anyone can.'' Wendy said.

''You rarely blush?'' Mabel asked.

''Mhm! It's not really important anyway; It's just how I am.'' Kahlil said, shrugging. I held myself back from making a comment about that day. Don't think I need to let the others know what ... happened. I looked up to him, who was glaring me down. I let out a snort before covering my mouth. Almost choked on swallowing my drink. I cleared my throat before smirking back at him. He gave me this look as if he never wanted to hear those words out of my mouth ever again.

''Sometimes you make me jealous.'' I heard my sister say. I turned my gaze over to her, looking confused for a second.

''Jealous of what? What did I do this time to cause that?'' I asked.

''Well. How do I explain this.'' Mabel said quietly, staring at the ground. She then jumped when an idea came to her. She turned and looked towards me. ''How do you do it?''

''Do what?'' I asked, growing more confused.

''Of course, you don't see it. I mean, how do you guys get so close with one another?'' She asked. I blinked at her, turning my gaze over at Kahlil. He stared at her with a confused look before snapping back to his usual expression. I looked back at her and sighed. ''It's because we knew each other beforehand. We were friends for a long while until we started dating.'' I answered.

''Are you having trouble with yours, Mabel?'' Pacifica asked.

''... Nothing too serious.'' Mabel said quietly before staring down at the ground. ''It's fine!''

''You sure?'' I asked, concern stirring in my voice.

''Yes! Don't need to worry about me.'' She said, waving her hand in the air. That just makes me worry even more about you.

''You don't have to hide it, Mabel.'' Pacifica said, looking worried.

''... I'm not hiding anything. I'm just a bit jealous, okay? It'll go away, and soon I'll be back to normal.'' She said, trailing off every other word as if she was making up a lie. I narrowed my eyes before dropping the concerned look on my expression. I have other matters to worry about instead of caring about what's in her relationship.

''I hope your relationship is holding up well in there, Mabel.'' Wendy said, looking worried as well.

''It is!'' She chirped, although it sounded fake.

''Good.'' Wendy nodded.

I bit my lip before turning my gaze over to Kahlil, who was staring at me with a wary look. I know she's lying, but... if she doesn't want to tell yet, let it come on her time. For now, I have something else to worry about. I saw him tilt his head, wanting to know what is there I had to worry. ... I stood in silence, staring down at the ground now. I avoided talking in my thoughts after that, turning away from him. I heard the other voices beginning to pick up another conversation, but I didn't bother to jump into it. Soon I felt someone poking my shoulder. I turn my head over to the blond, who was now standing close to me. ''Something got stuck in your brain?'' He whispered.

''... I'd... rather not tell. It's... more for your safety.'' I answered quietly, making him confused as hell.

''... My safety? I don't quite understand what your talking about.'' He said quietly.

''... Good.'' I said quietly, wanting to drop the topic there.

''That's... not good in my terms. I want to know what's bothering you.'' He said quietly. ''You don't have to hide the fact that, "The Missing Teens" case is going around town lately.''

''... You're comfortable by just saying it like that?'' I asked quietly, surprise spreading across my face.

''Why wouldn't I be? It doesn't bother me.'' He said, shaking his head.

''... It doesn't?'' I said, staring at him with a significant look.

''Nope.'' He said quietly. ''... Wait, don't tell me you and the rest are going to solve it.''

''We are. After... Candy's disappearance.'' I said quietly.

''Ah. I suppose your just doing this for your sister?'' He asked quietly.

''... Why wouldn't I be here?'' I said quietly.

''Heh. I thought you did it out of boredom.'' He said, making me wince at the lack of emotion in his voice.

''I didn't do it out of boredom. I did it because I care about people. And seeing my sister upset at this matter, I don't want it to be a waste. In fact, I was going to solve it on my own before, but trouble decided to ruin it in the past before I could have planned it out.'' I said, feeling unsure about his presence.

''... So, you're just going to invest in this case regardless if the result of it is gonna be a failure?'' Kahlil asked, giving me this blank expression.

''... We don't know it's gonna be a failure result. But at least, I and the others can try.'' I said, crossing my arms. ''You make it sound like doing this is a terrible choice.''

''You don't see citizens doing good deeds.'' He said.

''Some may have, and others didn't. What are you trying to get at, Kahlil?'' I said with a grave tone.

''Well. If you want to know, I see it as a waste.'' He said.

I blinked a bit before shaking off the rising annoyance within me. ''You wouldn't do anything for those people?''

''Why should I?'' He said in a dead tone.

''... What do you mean you wouldn't do anything?!'' I jerked my head over to Mabel, who was next to us. Her face was twisted with anger. ''There are missing teens out there that require rescuing!''

''Well, that's not my problem.'' Kahlil said.

''... Acting inattentive is not going to get you anywhere.'' I said, glaring him down.

'' "Inattentive"? I'm just stating what I feel about the situation-''

''How can you feel when I hear nothing from your voice.'' I snapped. ''What's going on?'' Finally, emotions were returning back to his face as he stared at me in shock.

''Do you not care about those missing teens?'' My sister asked.

''... I'd rather not talk about it.'' Kahlil answered, avoiding to look at me now and moving away from me. I frowned before regretting what I just did a second ago. I didn't mean to snap at you. I just got confused with the sudden change of the atmosphere in your emotionless stares. Although, I'm quite sure he didn't hear my thoughts at that moment.

''So you don't care?'' Mabel asked again, giving him an angry look. The blond looked nervous, lost in thought probably.

''... Hey, Mabel. Don't try to force it out of him. If he doesn't, then, he doesn't.'' Pacifica said, pulling my sister's attention away from him.

''How can someone like him not care about this situation at all?!'' Mabel said, raising her voice.

''I'm sure he cares; it's just hard for him.'' Wendy said, stepping in.

''Hard? How is it hard to care for someone else?'' Mabel snapped. I heard the conversation continue on with raised voices as I looked back to Kahlil, who was in this panic state, surprising me in the slightest. I slowly walked over to him, freezing once he jerked his head over to me. I tensed up, noticing the fear in his eyes. Soon his whole body was in this fight or flight mode, deciding to either flee or stay. Although, when there is no danger around, the system becomes corrupted and confused. Soon the person doesn't even know what to do. He turns his gaze away from me, the panic expression soon twisted on his face. What's... triggering this? The pieces don't add up.

''Kahlil?'' I heard Wendy say, who approached him with quiet steps. I watched her place a hand on his shoulder, which made him flinch and stare at her with a frightened expression. ''Nothing's here.'' She said. I slowly backed away, turning away from the scene. ''You guys go ahead and continue your little search; I'll stay here with Kahlil.''

''Alright... Let's go, guys!'' Lee said, turning away and leading the way. I followed the group, feeling shivers go down my spine as I walked past the two. What happened? He was emotionless one moment, and then he was panicking in the next. I'm lost at words as to what happened. And I feel like I'm the blame for this... maybe if I told him my thoughts, it wouldn't turn out that way? I don't know. ''I wonder what happened to him.'' I heard Pacifica say.

''Yeah, he was fine a second ago.'' Lee said, having a confused look.

''I wouldn't worry about it. Kahlil knew what he was doing.'' Mabel said, the anger lingering in her voice. What do you mean? You don't even know what was happening, nor did I.

''... What do you mean?'' Pacifica asked.

''Trying to gain attention, I've seen it happen before, and it's disgusting.'' Mabel answered. This sudden anger grew within me, almost making me cuss her out. I'm glad I held myself back before anything got worse than before. He was not. I know him, and saying sh-t right there is not going to help the situation. I let out a frustrated sigh before ignoring the conversation.

I stared at my sister, who was looking at the missing teens' sheets, trying to come up with a plan about this stuff. I ended up hiding one sheet in the folder before handing them over. I don't want her to get any ideas after what happened earlier. I sighed before grabbing my phone from the end table. It was night time, a little after 6:30. There was still orange up in the sky, but soon, there won't be. I leaned on the wall of the room, staring at my phone's home screen. ''Do you agree with what I said earlier about your boyfriend doing that for attention?'' I heard Mabel ask, which triggered me. I sat up quickly and glared her down. ''Excuse me? We're not having this discussion again.''

''I'm just asking! I don't know how this offended you!'' She said, staring at me with a confused look.

''You just opened up a lot of emotions that I didn't want to feel right now. And you don't know how this offended me? What if I said something negative about your significant other would you get mad?'' I asked, snapping in the process.

''Well yes, but that's-''

''That is what I'm offended about. I'm not answering your question, Mabel.'' I hissed, cutting her off.

''... Jeez, I just wanted to know about your opinion.'' She said before returning the glare back.

''I guess dealing with me never taught you a lesson about mental problems, didn't it?'' I grunted before turning my gaze back at my phone.

''... I thought your past issues would have vanished away by now.'' She said.

''Don't continue it any further.'' I hissed, staring at the notification on my phone. I unlocked it and clicked on it to view it closer. I heard my sister say something else, but I was too focused to see what this person has to say. [ ... Are you mad at me? ] - Creepyboi. I frowned, dropping the previous behavior. No... I'm not. I'm about to murder my sister, but no, I'm not.

[ No, why? ] - Me. Silence grew long between me and the phone, making me forget that my sister was in the room. I wish not, but that's just how life is. I looked back at the phone, noticing another notification from him.

[ I thought you were. You know... that... moment where... I froze and acted like... I didn't know what I was doing... frightened at everyone around me like they were a threat... I didn't mean to think that way of you. ] - Creepyboi. Soon, guilt crept up my spine, entering the central control of my emotions, making me think of what I did to him previously.

[ It's alright. I should be the one apologising here. I didn't mean to snap at you; I was confused at the time and wondered why you were lacking emotions. ] - Me. I don't know if those were the right words or not... I hope it's right.

[ I think... I understood why you didn't want to tell me. You know, don't you? ] - Creepyboi. I stared down at the phone, confused before realization came to mind.

[ Yes. I know. ] - Me. I discovered this information when the teachers were showing the presentation of the missing people, and knowing that you were one of them. I wonder... how did you escape them?

[ I shouldn't have done that... I'm sorry that I acted like that. ] - Creepyboi.

[ It's okay, you're not the one to blame here. ] - Me.

[ And neither are you. ] - Creepyboi. I frowned before looking down at the sheets of my bed. I did want to blame myself; I guess I can't now.

[ Okay. ] - I replied before putting my phone down. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on the wall of the room. I stared at the darkness in one corner of it, watching it for a minute before looking back down at my phone.

[ ... May I ask something? ] - Creepyboi. I tilted my head slightly, wondering what he wanted.

[ Sure. What is it? ] - Me.

[ Do you want to have a sleepover at my place? ] - Creepyboi. I widened my eyes a bit, taken aback by this. I still feel guilty and- You know what. I don't want to wake up the next morning to have a sister glaring at me.

[ Sure. ] - I replied, looking up over at the closet. I put my phone down and stood up from my bed. I walked over and opened it before sitting down to dig out for my large bag. I found it as I stared at its emptiness. I used to use this during one of the school's fields trips. Kind of sad that I don't remember good memories from it. I stood up and turned over to the dresser. ''What are you doing?'' I jerked my head over to my sister, who was watching me. ''I'm packing some things to go somewhere.'' I answered, walking over to it, opening my drawer, and grabbed some pjs.

''To where? A sleepover?'' She asked.

''Yes, why else?'' I answered with a slight annoyance in my voice. I put them into the bag before grabbing some fresh clothes for tomorrow.

''Am I not invited?'' She asked.

''No, you're not. Don't think it'll be okay for you to be there anyway. It's just me and someone else.'' I said.

''That wasn't nice of you.'' She hissed. ''You could have avoided saying that!''

''Well, I'm sorry, I'm still a bit irritated from our last conversation.'' I said, keeping my cool. I walked over to the door and left it to get some things I will be needing. I hope she doesn't follow me out of the room, although I am coming back. So I'll just have to listen to her. I finished collecting what I need before heading upstairs and into the room once more. ''Are you going over to his house? Is that what this about?'' I heard my sister ask. I walked over to my bed and grabbed my phone. I looked at the address that he sent to me. I could ask one of my grunkles to take me there. I don't feel like walking in the dark. ''Yes, I am. Is there a problem with that?'' I asked, putting my phone in my pocket. I turned over to her, pulling my bag over my shoulder. ''You know what he's doing.''

''I don't think I do.'' I grunted, narrowing my eyes.

''That's because your too blind to see it.'' She hissed.

''Thank you.'' I said before walking out of the room. I don't want to deal with this tonight. I made sure my eyepatch was on my left eye. Sometimes, half of the time, I don't realize it's on my face, and I don't know why I keep missing that. I walked downstairs and over to the living room, where I saw my two grunkles watching tv together. They spotted me, first spotting the bag. ''Are you going somewhere?'' Grunkle Ford asked.

''... Yes. Is it alright if I can get a ride?'' I asked.

''Sure.'' He said before excusing himself and walked over to where I stand. I stepped out of the way, letting him leave and get ready. I decided to wait in the gift shop area, where it was closed currently. I looked at the scenery, staring at little, odd figurines. I then turn my gaze to the part bear, part raccoon mini statue. I blinked before jerking my head over at my grunkle. ''Where are you going?'' He asked.

''... To someone's house, overnight.'' I said. ''If that's alright with you.''

''Oh, that's fine. As long as you are safe in a spot, that's alright.'' He said, leading the way out of the shack. I nodded before following him to the car. The ride was silence before Grunkle Ford erupts with a statement. ''You know, you can drive yourself there now that you have your driver's license.'' I blinked at him in the second seat, forgetting that. Right, I forgot I went over the summer to get it; guess I'm just used to asking people to take me everywhere. ''I just realized...'' I said quietly.

''It's alright. I hope next time you'll make use of it.'' He said.

Yeah... I will...

End of Chapter 38
